CRUSH CULTURE ââ paige bueckers x reader
â â summary: paige has a hopeless crush on you, a cheerleader.
â â word count: 5.4K
â â warnings: alcohol consumption, kissing, this oneâs tame
â â links: my masterlist, inspired by this request (lol i know this was forever ago)
â â authorâs note: hiii i hope yâall enjoyâlemme know if you guys want a part 2 and if so send in ideas for it!!! i have been hopelessly uncreative recently!!! also yes i have been writing tmtc and safe and sound i promiseânew chapter of tmtc should be out sometime this weekend, no idea on safe and sound because goddamn that fic takes me forever to write
PAIGE HAS ALWAYS noticed youâthough, funny enough, at first it wasnât because you cheered. That part didnât even register until her junior year, when she started paying attention to things off the court. But sheâd first noticed you back in her sophomore year, in that one class she didnât feel like she needed at all. Sheâd often zone out, either doodling in the margins of her notebook or letting her eyes drift around the room as she let her mind wander. Her gaze would skip over classmates until, one day, it stopped on you.
And, God, she remembers that moment. The way sheâd blinked, like she needed to reset her brain for a second because⊠well, you. It wasnât anything specific, nothing she could even name at the time. But there was this something about you that made her stomach flip. From then on, whenever she zoned out, her eyes would find you before she even realized it. Youâd be focused on your notes or lost in thought, completely unaware, and Paige would catch herself staring just a little too long.
Sheâd think about talking to you, but for some reason, you made her nervous. And that wasnât something Paige was used to feelingânot with girls. Sheâd been confident her whole life, even a little cocky when it came to flirting, and her reputation certainly proceeded her. But with you, all of that confidence vanished. Her brain would go blank, her hands would fidget, and her heart would pound just watching you, sitting across the room. The idea of walking up to you, striking up a conversation, felt almost laughable. Youâd somehow managed to turn her, Paige Bueckers, into a stammering mess with just a look.
And then there was the other partâthe part that kept her from making a move even when she managed to work up the nerve. You looked soâŠstraight. She knows itâs a stupid assumption, but something about the way you carried yourselfâsheâd convinced herself that you had to be straight. Maybe it was the way you fit in with the other girls, how they flocked around you like they were all in some effortlessly straight, picture-perfect group. Whatever it was, Paige felt certain youâd never look at her the way she looked at you.
So she let it go, or at least, she tried to. But you kept slipping into her thoughts, distracting her in that class, making her mind wander back to you when she least expected it. Her silly little crush on you lingered all through sophomore year, and even when summer rolled around, she found herself thinking of you every now and then, imagining what it might have been like to know you outside of that class.
Then junior year rolled around, and her whole world changed with that ACL tear. Benched for the season, her focus shifted in ways she never anticipated. Instead of charging down the court, she found herself sitting on the sidelines, watching, observing things she normally wouldnât have noticed. And it was during one of those games, one of those long, frustrating nights when she just wanted to play, that she saw you againâthis time, on the court as one of the cheerleaders.
At first, she couldnât believe it. She actually had to blink a few times, like her brain was trying to catch up with what her eyes were seeing. This was her third year at UConn, and she hadnât noticed you were a cheerleader ever. Maybe she really was just unobservant, but it truly shocked her. You looked completely different from how you did in classâmore animated, more alive, like you were in your element. And when you started that long, impressive tumbling pass down the court, her jaw dropped. She didnât even know you could do that, and it left her staring, heart hammering in a way she hadnât felt in a long time. (And maybe the tiny little uniform helped speed it up, too.)
From then on, Paige couldnât keep her eyes off you during games. Sheâd always find herself watching you, wondering if youâd somehow feel her gaze, hoping that maybe, just once, youâd look her way. She spent so many games like thatâsneaking glances, letting her mind wander, imagining what it might be like to finally work up the nerve to talk to you. But game after game, you never seemed to notice her, too focused on your routines, your teammates, and the cheering crowd around you.
And Paige? She knew she was hopelessly stuck. Sheâd sit there on the sidelines, feeling ridiculous, pining after a girl she couldnât even talk to, a girl she thought sheâd never really have a chance with. It was her worst crush yetâthe kind that left her feeling off-balance, stumbling over her own thoughts, trying to convince herself that it didnât matterâand sheâd never even spoken to you. But each time she saw you out there, smiling, moving with that same effortless grace, sheâd feel that same pull, that same quiet, persistent ache.
Itâs senior year now, and Paige has one thing on her mind: basketball. Itâs been more than a year since sheâs played, and sheâs determined to make this season count. All summer, she told herself the same thing over and over: Stay focused. Donât get distracted. No more drifting thoughts, no more daydreams, and absolutely no more pointless crushes on girls she canât have. And especially no crushes on you.
You, the cheerleader sheâd spent too many junior year games staring at from the sidelines. You, the girl she still thought about when her mind wandered late at night, even though she knew better. No, this year, she was locking in. Sheâd worked too hard, too long, to let her head get all twisted up over you again. She was here to play basketball, not to chase after some unattainable crush.
But as she jogs onto the court for warm-ups, trying to ignore the butterflies that come with her first game back, her eyes somehow find you anyway. Just like they always do. And itâs like no time has passed at all. Youâre laughing with the other cheerleaders, your hair perfectly styled in a half-up-half-down, a bow nestled in it, your uniform hugging you just right. The lights catch on your skin, giving you this soft glow, and your smileâGod, that smile, so open and sweet and painfully distractingâhas her heart skipping a beat before she even realizes it. Paige quickly snaps her eyes away, reminding herself sheâs here to play, not to get lost in some imaginary world where she has a chance with you. This is her first game back, and even if itâs just an exhibition against Dayton, sheâs got to make it count.
With a deep breath, she manages to brush you off. The pregame excitement kicks in, and her focus sharpens as the game begins. And itâs everything sheâs been waiting forâthe sounds of the court, the rush of the crowd, the thrill of moving with the ball in her hands again. Sheâs finally back, and for the first quarter, sheâs locked in, feeling the rhythm of the game, feeling unstoppable.
Then it happens. KK makes a bad pass, and Paige is already in motion, chasing down the ball to save it from going out of bounds. She dives, stretching to reach it, but itâs just out of reach. Before she can stop herself, sheâs crashing full speed into the sidelinesâright into the cheerleaders.
Right into you.
The impact is quick and jarring, and she scrambles to her feet as fast as she can, heart hammering in her chest. Sheâs prepared to rattle off an apology when she realizes who sheâs just barreled into. Youâre significantly smaller than her, and her stomach drops as she takes in your wide eyes and the faint wince that flickers across your face. But you handle it with the same grace sheâd always admired from afar, waving her off with a laugh and saying, âItâs fine! Youâre good!â Your smile is easy, casual, and sheâs even more mortified by how sweet youâre being about it.
She tries to apologize again, but youâre already brushing it off with that smile, and she feels her face heating up as she mumbles something unintelligible before hurrying back onto the court. But now her headâs a mess, all her carefully built-up focus gone, replaced by the embarrassing replay of what just happened. She tells herself to get it together, but itâs no use. Her mind keeps drifting back to the look on your face, to the sound of your laugh, to the softness in your smile when you waved her off.
The rest of the game passes in a frustrating blur. Sheâs off her rhythm, missing open shots sheâd normally sink with ease, getting caught in rotations she usually anticipates. By the end, sheâs only scored eight pointsâa painfully low number, especially for herâand she feels the weight of it like a stone in her stomach. She should be thinking about the game, her missed shots, how to get her focus back. But as she sits on the bench, watching the last few minutes tick away, all she can think about is you standing there, laughing off her clumsy collision, looking up at her with that easy, unbothered smile.
So much for not getting distracted.
After the game, Paige is still kicking herself over how sloppy her performance was. She lingers in the locker room, hoping to avoid any unwanted run-ins. But finally, when sheâs convinced sheâs given it enough time for everyone to clear out, she heads out into the quiet halls of Gampel Pavilion.
Except, of course, her luck isnât that great. Just as sheâs walking out, she spots youâstill in your cheer uniform but with a UConn sweatshirt thrown over it, heading down the hall, cheer bag on your back. Her first instinct is to turn around, bolt back into the locker room, and hope to avoid any more humiliation, but itâs already too late. You look up, and your eyes meet, and suddenly sheâs frozen in place, panicking because sheâs actually staring straight into your eyes.
And then you smile at her. That smile, the one that sends her brain into a meltdown every time. But itâs so much worse now because your smile is directed at her. And, suddenly, youâre walking up to her and saying, âHey, good game tonight,â and Paige is pretty sure her heart has stopped.
She tries to seem casual, to play it cool, but all she can manage is a shrug and a half-hearted, âEh, wasnât my best.â Sheâs hoping you donât notice her stutter, but her cheeks are burning, giving her away.
You just wave it off, your dimple showing as you grin up at her. âNah, this was just your warm-up. You havenât played in, like, over a year. Next game youâll drop thirty.â
Paige blinks, and the fact that you know sheâs good at basketballâeven though everyone knows sheâs good at basketballâis enough to send her into a coma, she thinks. âOh, gosh,â she says, rubbing the back of her neck, struggling to find words. âGonna have to now, just for you.â The second itâs out of her mouth, she mentally facepalms. That totally sounds like sheâs trying to flirt with you.
But you just laugh, eyes crinkling as you look at her, completely unfazed. âIâll hold you to it,â you say, and that smile doesnât waver.
Thereâs a pause, and Paige knows this is where youâre about to say goodbye, and she panics because, after two years of thinking and practically obsessing over you, sheâs finally talking to you, and it feels too short, too fleeting. Before she can second-guess herself, she blurts, âOhâuh, hey, about earlier⊠when I ran into you. Iâm⊠really sorry about that.â
You shake your head, smiling even wider, brushing it off with an easy laugh. âDonât worry about it. Happens all the time; more than youâd think.â
Thereâs something so casual and warm about the way you say it, and she feels herself relax a little, caught up in the fact that youâre looking right at her, not at all bothered, almost⊠endeared? And for some reason, seeing your dimpled smile has her stammering like sheâs never done before.
âSo⊠uhâŠâ Paige stumbles, her words failing, her confidence gone. âAre you, um, going to Tedâs tonight?â She bites her lip the moment itâs out, but she presses on. âYou know, a lot of people go there after the first gameâitâs kinda, like, aâŠthing. Which, yâknow, I guess you probably already know about because⊠youâre, like, not a freshmanâŠâ She sounds so stupid. God.
You tilt your head slightly, considering, before you smile at her again. âI wasnât really planning on going, butâŠâ You pause, looking at her with a bit of a spark in your eyes, and for a second, she feels like she might actually combust. âShould I?â
Paigeâs eyes widen, and sheâs nodding before she can stop herself. âY-yes! IâI think youâd have a good time.â She mentally scolds herself for the stutter, but youâre just nodding, still smiling, still looking so effortlessly at ease while sheâs a nervous mess.
You laugh softly, a sound sheâs sure sheâll replay in her head all night, and say, âAlright. Iâll think about it. And if I do decide to go, Iâll see you there, Bueckers.â
And with one last smile, you turn and walk away, leaving her standing there in shock, her heart racing and her mind replaying every word you just said. Sheâs tempted to pinch herself, convinced this has to be some elaborate daydream because thereâs no way she actually just talked to you.
She doesnât move for a long moment, replaying the way you said her name, the sound of your laugh, and the chance that she might actually see you tonight.
ITâS LATER in the night at Tedâs, and Paige is doing her best to stay composed, talking with one of the guys from the menâs team. Dirty Shirley in hand, sheâs feeling just the faintest buzz, not enough to loosen her grip on reality but just enough to feel the edges of her confidence soften. Sheâs nodding along to something the guyâs saying when, over his shoulder, she spots you walking in.
Paigeâs attention falters as she takes you in. Youâre in baggy jeans that hang low on your hips, and a leather tube top that clings in all the right places, dipping enough to make her gaze lower slightly. She can barely tear her gaze away as you head over to the bar with a couple of friends, both of whom Paige recognizes from the cheer team. Youâre laughing, leaning into one of them, completely at ease, and she canât stop watching.
She realizes sheâs staring a little too long, so she quickly excuses herself, not to talk to youâGod, no, she canât even think straight around youâbut to hide by her teammates before she does something stupid. Her teammates notice her the moment she approaches, grinning as they watch her flustered expression.
âYou see who just walked in, P?â Azzi teases, nudging her.
Paige groans, cheeks burning. âDonât start.â
But theyâre all laughing, and Ice is elbowing KK with a smirk. Nika, whoâs been listening with a barely disguised grin, rolls her eyes. âOkay, this is ridiculous. Youâve had a crush on this girl since, like, forever. Go talk to her.â
âAre you kidding? I canât. Sheâsââ Paige doesnât even finish the sentence, glancing over her shoulder just in time to see you at the bar, waiting for your drink. Sheâd be lying if she said her confidence hadnât evaporated the moment you walked in, looking like that.
âGirl boo,â KK sighs dramatically, before grabbing Paigeâs wrist and dragging her toward the bar. Paige stumbles after her, mumbling weak protests, but KK is determined, practically hauling her across the crowded floor until theyâre standing right next to you. KK orders a Sprite, leaning casually on the bar and glancing over at you with a grin. âHey, girly pop! You cheer, right?â
You smile, looking more at Paige than at KK, and Paigeâs heart thuds against her ribs. âYeah, I do,â you say, introducing yourself and holding out a hand to KK, but your gaze flickers right back to Paige, whoâs half-hiding behind her friend, cheeks pink and looking slightly caught. âHi, Paige.â
Paigeâs voice comes out a little sheepish. âHey.â
KK smirks, clearly satisfied, and gives Paige a quick wink before excusing herself, leaving Paige standing there alone with you.
Thereâs a beat of awkward silence as Paige shifts on her feet, trying to keep herself from looking like an idiot, which is hard considering how aware she is of every single thing about youâyour posture, your smile, the way youâre leaning in just close enough that she can catch a faint hint of your perfume.
âSo,â Paige says, trying for casual. âYou glad you came?â
You tilt your head, your lips quirking up. âHmm, not sure yet. Iâm not too impressed so far.â
She nods, stifling a wince, feeling more awkward than she can ever remember. And yet, her mindâs racing, urging her to just go for it, because this is her moment. Sheâs Paige Bueckersâsheâs supposed to be confident. She always is. Besides, if youâre not interested, at least sheâll know. And if you areâŠ
She hesitates, then swallows, trying to keep her voice steady as she says, âUm⊠can I buy you a drink?â
Thereâs a flicker of something in your eyesâmaybe amusement, maybe surpriseâand sheâs mentally bracing herself for you to say no when you glance at the bar and say, âActually, I just ordered one.â Her heart sinks a little, but she forces a smile, trying to play it off. Of course youâre not interested; she should have known betterâ
Then youâre leaning closer, nudging her elbow with yours, and you smirk, your voice soft and playful. âBut you can buy my next one, if you want.â
Paigeâs brain short-circuits as your words settle in, her mouth going dry as she realizes what you just said. âUh, y-yeah, totally,â she manages, trying to keep from looking as giddy as she feels. âIâŠIâd love to.â
Your smirk turns into a grin, and youâre looking at her like sheâs the only person in the room. Sheâs trying to come up with something smooth to say when, suddenly, one of your friends pops ups beside you and Paige, tugging on your arm, pulling you off the barstool and towards the crowd with a teasing, âCome on!â
Paige opens her mouth to protest, but before she knows it, youâre being swallowed up into the throng of peopleânot before you send her a quick, apologetic look over your shoulder, your friend still dragging you. Paige frowns, a little disappointed, but quickly catches herself. Itâs fine, she thinks, though a twinge of regret lingers. She pushes it aside, grabbing her drink from the bar and returning back to her table, telling herself to focus on celebrating. Sheâs finally back on the court, and after such a long, difficult recovery, tonight is meant to be about unwinding. So she does, letting her team hype her up as they cheer and clink their drinks in her honor, pulling her deeper into the night.
As the time passes, Paigeâs frustration eases, replaced by a warm buzz that dulls everything except the elation of being surrounded by her friends. But even as she sips her drink, she canât help but think about where youâve disappeared to, if youâre still here, still laughing with your friends somewhere across the bar. She finds herself scanning the crowd more than once, looking for a glimpse of you. She tries to push it down, laugh it off with another round, but every time she looks around, her gaze seems to search for you.
Eventually, the heat of the crowded bar gets to her. She feels flushed, dizzy from the alcohol and the mass of people, so she slips out the back door for some air. The cool breeze hits her face, and she closes her eyes for a second, sighing as the sounds of the bar fade behind her. She barely has a moment to herself before she notices a figure sitting just a few feet away.
Itâs you, sitting on the curb, looking down at your hands as if lost in thought. Paige blinks, unsure if sheâs seeing things. But then you look up at the sound of the door closing and smile, that familiar, gentle smile that makes her heart stutter. You seem just as surprised to see her, but your expression softens, like youâre genuinely happy sheâs there. And thatâs all the encouragement Paige needs.
âYou care if I join?â she asks, trying to sound casual, even though her heartâs racing.
âNot at all,â you reply, and she takes a seat beside you, a bit closer than she planned. She feels your warmth even in the night air, and it makes her head spin in a way she canât blame on the alcohol.
Thereâs a pause, a comfortable silence stretching between you. Paige watches as you draw patterns in the gravel with your fingers, the lights from the bar casting a soft glow over your face. She swallows, summoning up the nerve to say somethingâanything that might keep you sitting here with her.
âWhy you out here?â she starts, genuinely curious.
You shrug, glancing back toward the bar. âGot a little claustrophobic in there,â you say, voice soft.
âYeah⊠me too,â Paige nods, grateful for the fresh air and this quiet moment with you. The silence returns, but this time, itâs charged, heavy with something she canât quite put into words.
Finally, Paige finds her voice again, her words slipping out before she can think them over. âYouâre a good cheerleader, yâknow. You do all those flips and shitâitâs impressive.â
You let out a small laugh, looking away for a second as if flattered. Paige is almost certain she sees a faint blush on your cheeks, and the sight makes her smile a little, lips curving upward. âDidnât know you really paid attention to the cheerleaders,â you respond, teasing.
Paige scoffs, shrugging as if it isnât a big deal, even though she feels like sheâs been caught in some sort of confessionâwhich, she kinda has. âWell, I did sit out for a year, so⊠I had to find something to watch.â
You tilt your head, smirking as you ask, âSo you chose to watch me?â
Paigeâs cheeks warm, and she silently thanks the alcohol for the courage that lets her meet your gaze. âYeah,â she murmurs, watching as you look away, biting your lip as if trying to hide a smile. The sight makes her heart skip in a way thatâs both exhilarating and terrifying.
After a moment, Paige adds, âI think we⊠had a class together, couple years ago?â
You nod, eyes lighting up at the memory. âYeah, we did. Sociology, right?â you reaffirm, nodding in tandem with her. ââM surprised you remember thatâyou always seemed so disinterested.â
Paige nearly blanches, genuinely surprised youâd noticed her too. She didnât think youâd have remembered her, much less noticed her back then. The notion gives her some of her usual confidence beck and she manages a chuckle, shaking her head and tilting it slightly toward you as she murmurs, âAh, so you were watching me too, huh?â
You roll your eyes, but your smile betrays you as you nudge her shoulder. âShut up,â you mutter, but the blush on your face doesnât go unnoticed.
Thereâs another pause, the two of you sitting side by side in the quiet, both of you lingering on the edge of something unsaid. Finally, you break the silence, voice soft and hesitant. âHow come you never said anything before?â
Paige swallows, the question catching her off guard. She doesnât know how to answer without giving herself away, without admitting the way her stomach twists every time she sees you around campus. So instead, she asks, turning the question back on you, âHow come you never did?â
You donât seem to mind that she didnât really give you an answer. Instead, you just shrug, looking down at your hands. âI donât know⊠you make me kinda nervous.â
The confession makes Paigeâs heart alight, feeling like itâs on fire and might spread throughout her whole body. Sheâs used to people being in awe of her for basketball, for her skills on the court. But hearing you say that you feel that way too, like sheâs someone more than just her reputation, shakes her. Besides, youâve always seemed so incredibly at ease around her, never even bothering to look her way. So, almost incredulously, she asks, âWhy?â
You scoff, looking at her like sheâs missing something obvious. âUm, because youâre Paige Bueckers. Basketball prodigy, campus celebrity.â You raise your eyebrows at her. âI think most people would be.â
Paige feels a rush of warmth at your words, the way you say her name like it means something special. She searches your face, feeling the air grow thick around you, heavy with something she couldnât quite name. And maybe itâs the alcohol in her system, maybe itâs the way youâre looking at her like sheâs somehow both intimidating and endearing at the same time, but sheâs feeling bold. Bold enough to keep this conversation going, to see where this moment might lead.
She clears her throat, a small smile tugging at her lips. âWell, if it helps⊠you make me nervous.â
You laugh, a little breathless, clearly surprised. âYeah, right.â
âIâm serious,â Paige insists. âYou ainât see the way I stuttered around you earlier? Ion know, ma, you just kinda fuck with my head.â
She watches, grin widening, as you blush at her words, the color blooming across your cheeks. Itâs addictive, seeing you react like thatâbecause of her. She doesnât even try to hide her amusement when you ask, gaze set out in front of you instead of on her, âWhy would I fuck with your head?â
Itâs a good question, one Paige asked herself for a long time. It never took her long to figure out the answer. Though, sheâs a little nervous to explain herself.
And she gets even more nervous when your gaze slides back onto hers, your head turning towards her. Paigeâs smile falters, just slightly, at the eye contact. Itâs intense, the kind that feels like itâs holding the world still for a second. Paigeâs heart is a drum in her chest, each beat vibrating through her veins. Her eyes slide across your face, your features, tracing the slope of your nose, the curve of your lips, the faint shimmer glitter swiped along your eyelids. She catalogues every detail as if sheâs never going to get this close againâa very real possibility if she doesnât up her game.
Finally, she leans inâjust slightlyâher voice low and steady as she answers you. âYou got this positive energy that makes you just⊠stand out in front of a crowd. Big smile. Bright eyes. Mm, I just⊠like seeing that in people.â
The words settle in the space between you, warm and lingering. Paige hesitates, letting them wrap around you both before adding, her voice dipping lower, her boldness shooting upward, âAnd it doesnât help that youâre too beautiful for your own good.â
You blush deeper this time, cheeks tinted more red than pink, and it makes Paigeâs heart skip. She canât help the way her lips twitch into a grin. Sheâs waited so long to see thisâsee you flustered because of her. Itâs everything she imagined and more.
âStop,â you protest, fighting a smile as you push at her hands, your tone not carrying any weight behind the word. Paige just laughs, soft and easy, catching your hand in hers before you can pull away. She lifts it slightly, letting her thumb brush over your knuckles as she murmurs, âNah, really.â
Itâs then that the air changesâshifting into something heavier. The space between the two of you is practically nonexistent at this point, your sides tucked right into each other. Youâre staring at one another, and Paige canât help it when her gaze flickers down to your lips, just for a second. But it turns out to be enough. Because then she sees your eyes dart to her mouth in return, lingering there. And thatâs when Paige knows.
Still holding your hand, she locks her gaze on yours, her voice firm but soft when she repeats, âReally.â
Itâs like that word unlocks something between you because suddenly youâre leaning in, and Paige is doing the same, her breath catching the moment your lips touch hers. Itâs soft, tentative at first, like neither of you are quite sure if this is real. But then you press into her just slightly, and Paige swears the whole world tilts on its axis.
The kiss deepens, slow but deliberate, and Paige feels her whole body light up. Your lips are warm, soft, and you taste faintly of tequila and strawberry chapstick. Itâs intoxicating, the way you move against her, gentle but with enough purpose to make her head spin. Paigeâs hand slides up to cradle your jaw, her thumb brushing against your cheekbone.
Your fingers grab at her bicep, holding on like you donât want to let go, and it sends a thrill through her. Paigeâs lips part slightly, and when you follow, letting her slip her tongue into your mouth, itâs like a fire ignites somewhere deep inside her. The kiss isnât frantic or messyâitâs unhurried, like the two of you have all the time in the world to explore this. She can feel the heat of your skin where her hand cups your face, and she wants to memorize every second, every sensation.
The way you tilt your head just a little, giving her more access, nearly undoes her. Paige tilts her own in response, deepening the kiss further, her fingers slipping from your jaw to the back of your neck. The touch is light, almost reverent, but the closeness makes her heart race.
Your other hand moves, grazing against her side before resting lightly on her hip. Paigeâs stomach flips at the contact, her body leaning instinctively closer to yours. She swears she can feel the warmth of your breath between kisses, the subtle hitch when she nips at your bottom lip.
Itâs slow, itâs sweet, but itâs intoxicating. Paige swears sheâs never kissed anyone like this before, never felt this much just from simple lip-locking. When you pull back slightlyânot breaking the kiss entirely, just catching your breathâshe canât help herself. She follows you instinctively, her mouth chasing yours in a way that feels both vulnerable and utterly fearless. You allow her to, tongues half entwined between your swollen lips.
When you finally part, Paige keeps close, her forehead gently pressing against yours, her hand still cradling your neck. Neither of you moves far, the space between you so small your breaths still mingle, soft and warm against each otherâs lips. Paigeâs eyes flutter open, but she doesnât look away from you, her gaze locked on yours like youâre the only thing in the world that mattersâwhich, right now, you might as well be.
Her voice comes out lower than she intends, husky and laced with something she canât quite hide as she murmurs, âYou gonna let me buy you that drink now?â
Your lips curve into a slow, easy grin, and Paige feels her chest tighten, her heart skipping a beat at the sight of it. Youâre so close she can see the faint glimmer of mischief in your eyes, the way they soften as you look at her.
âYeah,â you say, your voice soft but sure, âIâd like that.â
The way you say it, the way your smile widens just slightly after, makes Paigeâs heart race all over again. She canât help the small, satisfied smile that spreads across her face. Paige leans back just enough to take in the sight of youâyour flushed cheeks, the way your hairâs slightly mussed, and that lingering, breathtaking smile she knows will haunt her in the best way.
âGood,â she murmurs, her thumb brushing your jaw lightly one last time before she pulls away completely, standing up and offering you her hand. When you take it, she holds on a little longer than necessary, leading you back into the bar, already planning how sheâs going to keep you smiling for the rest of the nightâand, hopefully, much longer afterwards.

Truth is, you started feeling like that just a few weeks ago, when you went back to Landoâs apartment to surprise him with lunch and found an empty room and the bed unmade from somebody sleeping on it. Any other day that wouldâve been completely normal, but you had stayed with him the night before and made the bed as soon as you both got up to get ready for your separate plans for the day, leaving a perfectly made bed to come back to.Â
Before that day, you wouldâve never in a million years thought that Lando would cheat on you. He had always been so loving and caring, even before you started dating, and once you officially became a thing, he would constantly remind you how much he loved you, and on special days he was the most romantic person ever, and you always thought that you would spend the rest of your life with him, but now... you didnât want to think about it, but you couldnât bury the thought of him with someone else after it crossed your mind briefly while looking at the messy bed.
Later that night you asked him about it, trying hard not to sound like you were accusing him of something, but his excuse just made you feel worse, your suspicions growing.
âWhat do you mean?â He asked as he inspected his bed, unsure of what was wrong with it.Â
âWell, you know, I made the bed this morning before we left, remember?â
âOh, uh- yeah, I came back to- to take a nap,â he stuttered, not even looking at you.Â
But it kept happening, a few more times.
Things started to change after that; he cancelled the plans you made for when he came back home, he suddenly was too busy every day and your presence might be a distraction for all the things he had to get done for the next race, he was so tired at night he didnât have the energy for anything, and he even asked you to go back to sleep in your own apartment, claiming he just needed to sleep on his own to be comfortable, even though you were used to sleeping together.
Long story short, he was distant; he was never around anymore, and even when he was, you felt like you were missing him. He was just... different, and you were beating herself up wondering what had changed.
He, on the other hand, didnât miss you, seeing he didnât make an effort anymore and he could go days without answering a text or returning a call, ââand it was not because you took a long time to reply; you would always respond in a heartbeat if it was him. If it werenât for all the times you visited him at his apartment when a news outlet brought up that he was back in Monaco to make sure he was doing okay, you wouldnât talk to each other at all.
But today you were feeling hopeful. It was your anniversary, and you had a date night planned â a date he didnât cancel, so you took the entire afternoon to do your nails, your hair, and pick a beautiful dress to wear, his favourite dress. Your makeup took a while, but you still managed to be ready on time for the wonderful night you had ahead, so you made your way to him, your palms sweating when you knocked on the door.
âY/N? What are you doing here?â Was the first thing he asked, wiping her smile off of her face.
âI thought we would go out tonight,â you replied, looking down at your hands to hide your clear disappointment.
âOh- I guess I forgot to tell you but I remembered I have an important meeting tomorrow morning, so Iâm not gonna make it." The door was barely open, and he was standing where the crack was, blocking his apartment as he held the door with a strong grip.
âOkay,â your voice was so faint you barely heard it yourself. âDo you need anything? I could stay here for a couple of hours.â
âNo, donât worry about it. I think itâs better if you leave.â
Tears pricked your eyes, swallowing the small lump forming in your throat. âWhy?â
âWell, Iâm busy with a few things. You know, I have a really early day tomorrow, and you canât really help me with a McLaren meeting, can you?â
You shook your head slowly âI guess Iâm leaving then.â
The tears you had been holding started to fall as soon as you turned around; you could feel your mascara clumping on your eyelashes and forming black streaks down your cheeks, ruining the contour and highlight you applied in hopes of impressing your boyfriend. You ran back to your car and let it all out once you closed the door. You really thought things would be different tonight, but you were wrong.
You started driving to your best friendâs house, desperate to vent about how terrible your relationship was going since you had been keeping a secret from everyone; the last thing you needed was the media to get in the middle of this.Â
âOh my god, Y/N. Are you okay?â Mia asked you when she saw the mascara tears.
You shook your head as you stepped inside, small whimpers leaving your lips as you tried to stop the crying.
âWhat happened?â She took your hand and guided you to the couch.
âLando.âÂ
âWhat about Lando?â
âI think heâs cheating on me." You had never said that out loud, and saying it broke your heart even more. âI wish I was crazy, but the signs... I know he is.â
âIâm not trying to defend him or anything, but what makes you think that?â
âEverything, Mia. He has been acting so... distant. Ever since-â You stopped yourself. You never told anyone your relationship with Lando wasnât doing so well, making up excuses to cover his. You just wanted to hold on to everyone elseâs idea of you two, thinking you were the perfect couple.
âWhat? Have you guys been fighting?â
You took a deep breath before saying, âRemember the last time I stayed over at his apartment?â She nodded in response, âWell, later that day I went back to surprise him with lunch, but he wasnât there and the bed was a complete mess, and you know I always make the bed when I wake up. He said he went back to take a nap, but he was supposed to be with Carlos all morning, and it didnât make sense he had time to come back, take a nap, and then leave again, so I asked Carlos, and they didnât meet at all that day. Is that insane?â
"No, Y/N, of course not.â Mia didnât know what to say; she wanted to comfort you but she didnât know how. âAnd heâs been acting weird since then?â
You nodded, wiping your tears away. âYeah, heâs been pushing me away since that day. Telling me he doesnât have time because heâs so busy with the season, which I understand, but not even answering a couple of texts? And cancelling every date we had planned?â
âIs that what happened today? I thought it was your anniversary.â
âIt is.â You were nibbling on your lip profusely, looking up so tears would stop falling. âI donât know what Iâm gonna do.â
âHave you told him how you feel?â You shook your head again; you hated confrontation, and you were hoping you didnât have to do that. âI think you should go talk to him.â
âRight now?â
âIf not now, then when? You say youâve been feeling like somethingâs off for a while, but you havenât said anything to him.â
âI donât know Mia-â
âIf he is cheating on you then you need to break up with him, you donât deserve to be in that situation, and you deserve to know the truth.â
You inhaled as you considered what Mia just said. She was right, but to be completely honest, you werenât ready yet. âI really want to know, but I can't.â
âWhy not?â
âBecause what if he is?â Tears started rolling down your face again, Mia hugging you tight as soon as it happened. âI love him, and... I just want things to go back to normal.â
âI know you do, but believe me, itâs better if you know.â
You stayed there for a while, but ultimately decided to go talk to him, but you needed to put yourself back together before confronting him. Mia helped you to wash your face and fix your hair, comforting you and offering to stay with you once the two of you were done talking. You accepted; you didnât want to be alone, and Anne, your flatmate, had been going out of town a lot recently, so your apartment was empty, and you knew itâd be a long night.
Once you felt better and ready to talk to him, Mia drove you to his place as you repeated in your head everything you wanted to tell him. You knocked loudly and didnât stop until he opened. He looked annoyed, and you stormed inside as soon as he opened the door.
âWhat are you doing?â
âWe need to talk.â
âAbout what?âÂ
You blinked at him twice. Did he not think you needed to talk? âAbout us, Lando. Whatâs going on?â
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â
Okay, now you were mad. âLando, you have been ignoring me for days, and I understand if youâre busy, but it doesnât explain you pushing me away at all times.â
âIâm sorry if you feel that way.â
There was a moment of silence, both of you staring at each other as you tried to remember the questions you were supposed to ask, but none of them seemed to make sense now that you were standing in front of him âThatâs all youâre gonna say?â
âWhat do you want me to say?âÂ
âHow about you tell me exactly whatâs going on?â
You were both raising your voices, but Lando especially. âI told you already, Iâve been busy with the season-â
âI couldâve stayed here with you or gone with you to races if that meant spending more time together, like we have done before.â
âBut why would you want to do that?â
âTo keep you company, maybe?âÂ
âBut all you do is stand around while I do my job.â
âLando, do you know how many weeks Iâve spent away from home just so we can be together? And you donât even care anymore, you didnât even care to say thank you.â
âI never asked you to come,â he mumbled.
You scoffed before shaking your head. âI wanted to, you know I worry about you when you stress yourself out about a race, you tend to overwork yourself-â
âI. Never. Asked. You. To. Come." He interrupted you, his tone punctuated with each word. âI wouldâve been fine without you, I donât need you in my hair at all times." His eyes hardened, his mouth opening to speak again. âDonât you have better things to do?â
âI just- Iâm your girlfriend, I guess I thought you liked to be with me.â
âI do, but you donât have to be so clingy all the time.â
You didnât say anything, hoping you heard it wrong or that heâd apologise, but he didn't. âWhat?â
âYou know, we do everything together and-â
âNo, we used to do things together, not everything." You corrected him.
He took a deep breath, as if he was done dealing with you. âRight. Look, Iâm tired, we can talk tomorrow.â
You nodded, holding back the tears as you walked towards the door. âHappy anniversary,â you said before slamming it closed and running back to Miaâs car.
Lando sat on his couch with his head between his hands for a moment. How could he forget? He took a deep breath as he got up, looking for a ribbon and a gift he bought for you who knows how long ago.
He made his way to Miaâs flat; he assumed you would be there, and your car parked outside confirmed his suspicions, so he knocked on the door a couple of times before saying, âBaby, Iâm sorry. I was caught up in all the things I have to do before leaving, and I didnât realise what day it was." But he got no response. âY/N please, I know youâre here. Will you please talk to me?â
âGo away, Lando.â Mia was the one to yell, making Lando realise he would not be able to fix it, not tonight anyway.Â
âOkay, Iâm leaving this here. I- I love you.â
You called in sick for your job the next day, your sore eyes and pounding headache being the only things you could think about. Well, that and Lando.
You were staring at the gift he bought for your one-year anniversary â what you were supposed to celebrate the day before. It was beautiful, and you couldnât believe he remembered you mentioning it on one of your first dates ever, but it was the letter inside that broke your heart. It looked... unfinished, like he didnât even care enough to give it a proper ending, so you were wondering how long ago he stopped working on it.
The days after that were rough, long nights of wondering what you could have possibly done wrong, but even then you didnât talk to him. He tried to, a couple of times, but you needed a little bit of time.
A couple of weeks went by, and you found yourself alone at your apartment, catching up on the work you missed for calling in sick so many times.
It was your birthday, and Mia insisted a million times you go out and celebrate, clear your head, and forget about Lando once in for all, but somehow it felt wrong; you had made plans with Lando a few months back to bring your family to a race so they could finally meet him, but obviously that wasnât happening anymore, so what was the point of celebrating? You just needed to focus and get things done anyway.
You were thankful that Mia had been for you through it all; you really were, but sometimes crying alone did more for you than having someone tell you âeverything's gonna be okay.' You were tired of hearing that.
Hours later, you found yourself with a cup of coffee to finally catch up on the last project. It wasnât really that much of a workload, and you didnât need to stay up all night to do that, but you were going to anyway. Perhaps you just wanted to be productive, or maybe that was you trying to occupy your mind from the possibility of your boyfriend cheating on you.
You looked at the clock; it was 11:30 PM. You sighed, typing away whatever you were supposed to on your laptop, your eyes sore from staring at it for too long, when a text message interrupted you.
Unknown [Attachment: 1 photo]
Unknown: I heard they have been at it for a while.
That text message induced such a great shock on your tired, worn-out body, tears falling down your face as soon as you read it. You didnât want to open it as you were sure of what this was about, but your curiosity got the best of you.
Tapping on the notification, you prepared yourself mentally to confirm your terrible suspicions. And they were confirmed.
Your vision was blurry from the tears, but you were able to see Lando standing next to his new Ferrari, and he was with someone else, except you couldnât see who it was, the big jacket and a beanie protecting her identity. He was smiling down at her, eyes full of... love? Those green eyes you thought he reserved for you only, but clearly you were wrong. His big hands were around her waist as hers went around his neck, and his lips were stained with lipstick.
You broke down crying, curled up on your bed as you wore one of Landoâs hoodies that still smelt like him. You now knew what the truth was, but you didnât want to accept it. What happened to you two? When did he stop loving you?
It was like your heart was ripped from your chest; all that time you spent together down the drain like it was nothing, like it all meant nothing to him.
You didnât know for how long you cried the night before, but it was now 1 PM and you were just waking up, so you probably cried for hours. There was nothing left you could do to save your relationship, so you made up your mind to break up with him as soon as he came back from the American triple header.
Y/N: We need to talk, just let me know when youâre here.
The message was left unanswered, as usual. You rolled your eyes and put your phone down, returning to your video call with Mia.
âDo you know who that is?â
âNo, sorry.âÂ
You sighed as you sipped your hot coffee âWhat about the number? Do you know who sent the picture?â
âWhatâs the number? Maybe I can ask around to see if any of my friends know.â
You sent her the phone number, along with the picture of Lando and the other girl. âThanks. Donât show anyone that picture thought. Iâm already embarrassed as it is.â
âEmbarrassed? Y/N, he should be the embarrassed one, you didnât do anything wrong.â
âMaybe I did-â
âNo, stop doing that to yourself. We both know itâs not your fault.â
You nodded. âI canât help it. I just donât understand.â
âUnderstand what?â
âWas I not enough? Why did he need to find someone else?â
Mia hated to see you going through that, how you felt like you were not enough or that it all ended because of you, and she hated Lando for causing all of that. âI know itâs hard right now, but I promise youâll understand that none of this is your fault. Y/N youâre amazing, and heâs an idiot for not realising.â
Talking to her made you feel better, but all those terrible emotions came back whenever you looked at the picture again, a million questions invading your mind. How long has he been doing this? Who is she? Does he still love you? What did you do wrong?
A couple of days later, Lando finally replied to your text.
Lando: Just got back. Iâm in my apartment
Your heart sank at the notification; you didnât want to talk to him; you didnât want things to be over. There was still a part of you that hoped everything was just a misunderstanding, hoping he wasnât cheating on you and she was just a friend. But deep down you knew the truth, and the possibility of it being a mix-up was down to zero, and after he made it clear that he didnât want to be in a relationship with you anymore, you decided to fulfil his wishes.
It was a long drive to his home; it felt longer than usual, but maybe you were just dreading the conversation you knew was about to happen.
You took a deep breath before knocking on the door, Lando opening it almost right away.
"Hey,â he said faintly, worried he got caught.
âHi.â You entered the apartment you once thought you would move into and looked around. You had been there a million times, and so many of those times were special little moments you shared together, but right now it felt like you were disconnected from the space. âHow was the triple header?â
âNot great- I donât know. It was messy, I guess." He tried to give you a smile but stopped himself when he noticed your stare full of fury. âWhat did you want to talk about?â
Seriously? âIâm breaking up with you." Your voice was weak, but you did not dare let a tear slip past your waterline; he didnât deserve to see you cry.Â
âWhat?â The shock in his eyes looked so real that you almost believed him âWhy?â
âDid you really just ask that?â
âSo thatâs it? Weâre over?â
âLando, come on, weâve been over for a while." You stepped closer to him, pain and anger written all over your face as the tears struggled to stay on your eyes. âWe didnât even feel like a couple anymore. Lando, you forgot our anniversary, and that day you made it clear you wanted nothing to do with me. And to think I planned a beautiful night for us and bought you a great gift. Do you have any idea how stupid I felt?âÂ
âI didnât know you were feeling like that.â
âOf course not, when have you ever listened to me anyway?â
Lando rolled his eyes âOkay, I understand, but we donât have to break up, I already explained what happened that day, I was busy and completely lost track of time.â
âAnd I guess she doesnât have anything to do with this?â You showed him the picture, his demeanour changing immediately.
âY/N, I- Iâm sorry, baby, Iâm so sorry." His eyes and his voice softened as he tried to reach for you, but you turned around and wiped the tears that managed to leave your eyes, a million questions flooding your mind again.
âSo itâs true." You were just confirming to yourself what you already knew. Anger and pain washed over your body. Why her? Why her when youâve been nothing but perfect to the man you loved the most?
âBaby, I can explain.âÂ
You turned around to face him again âWho is she?â He shook his head, his eyes begging you not to make him say it while yours watered, âWho is she?â You repeated.
âYou donât wanna know.â
âWhy? Cause I might find out youâre cheating?â
A few tears started to roll down his face, his hands desperate to hold yours. âI canât.â
âWhy not?â
âCause youâre gonna hate me even more." You stared at him, even more tears falling as you tried to think who the girl could be.Â
âDid you two- did you sleep with her?â His nod was barely perceptible; if you didnât already know the answer, you wouldâve missed it. Maybe he was right; maybe itâd be better if you didnât know.Â
âIâm sorry, baby, Iâm so sorry.â
âStop it.â
âI know I fucked up, but she doesnât mean anything to me, I swear.â
âShut up, Lando. I just⊠I donât understand.â
âLet me explain-â
âAnd I donât care how many times you apologise, how do you expect me to forgive you?â You took a couple of steps back, trying to figure out what caused him to do such a thing. âEven if we stayed together and got married and started a family, how can I ever look at you and not think about that?â
"Baby, I want all of that, I want the rest of my life with you, like we talked.â
âThat was before you ruined everything.â
âI know what i did is wrong-â
âWrong?â
âBut we can work this out.â
âWhat? No, Lando, stop.â
âJust give me another chance, please.â
âIs that why you've been so distant, huh? Was she here on our anniversary?â Lando didnât say anything, and the flashes from Lnadoâs knuckles turning white from holding the door closed that night creeped your mind. Your heart ached so much that every time you breathed deeply, it was scorching you to the core âHow could you do that?â
âI shouldnât have done that, Iâm sorry.â
âStop apologising.â
âYou know I didnât mean it.â
âJust stop⊠god.â
âY/N just hear me out, I swear it only happened once.â
âAre you fucking kidding me? I know thatâs not true. Do you know how many times I came to an unmade bed? And how many excuses you made?â He stayed silent. âI donât care how many times it happened, you still did it and nothing is gonna change that.â
âI know.â
âYouâve been hurt before, right? What if I was the one cheating? Would you just forget it ever happened and come back to me?â Once again, he didnât say anything. âNo. Of course you wouldnât. Lando, how could I ever forget what you did? Or everything you said to me when we were fighting, and the fact that you lied and- and cheated-â
âBut you came all the way here.â
âBecause I care, and you... you never cared, you never tried-â
âI care, I care so much. Baby, please, you have to believe me." He tried to reach out to you, but you pushed his hand away.
"No, you donât, and if Iâm here, itâs because I know after this weâll never see each other again, weâll never talk again and this just has to end.â
âBut I donât want it to end.â
âWell, you ended it when you cheated on me.â
He stared at you for a moment before continuing. âBut⊠I want you, she didnât mean anything to me." He approached you again, his hope growing a little when you didnât stop him. He put a strand of hair behind your ear, softly brushing your cheek. âI know I fucked up but I canât go on without you, I just can't.â
âWell you have, countless times while I was left in the dark wondering if I had done something wrong, crying myself to sleep when I couldnât get a hold of you, Lando, and in the meantime you were with her.â
âIâm sorry-â
âAnd you have the nerve to say all that shit to me, acting like I was suffocating you when in reality I was trying to save us!â You pushed him away.
âIâm so sorry.â
âNo, youâre not.â
âY/N, Iâm sorry, please letâs talk about it.â
âFine, letâs talk about it. Was she worth it?â He shook his head, ready to leave his pride behind as he kneeled in front of you and grabbed one of your hands. âWhat are you doing? Stop.â
âI promise it was an accident, it wonât happen again.â
âAn accident? Lando, are you hearing yourself right now?â
âPlease, donât let me go." The grip on your hand tightened, pulling you closer to him.
âIsnât that what you wanted?âÂ
âNo. I donât want anyone else, I want you, Y/Nâ
âYou donât have to worry about me anymore.â
âBut everything I said... I meant it, I love you Y/N and every second weâve been together has meant everything to me. Baby, you have to understand.â
âLiar.â
âIâm not lying, you know Iâm not." You pushed his hand away, rolling your eyes when another tear rolled down his face. âI know I donât deserve it but please... just one more chance and I can fix this.â
âGive you a chance? I gave you a chance when I believed your excuses, when I forgave you for cancelling every date we had planned, when I tried to understand why you locked me out, and when I almost forgave you for forgetting our anniversary, I gave you so many fucking chances!â
âBut I swear it wasnât like that, she meant nothing.â
âYouâre unbelievable⊠god, what are you saying?â
âJust think about how great we are together,â he said, trying to hold your torso, but once again you stopped him.Â
âLando, stop that.â
âWeâre a great team, arenât we? We understand each other so well, we know each other better than anyone else, god, Iâll do anything, I swear.â
âNo, itâs not gonna work.â
âYes it will, and Iâll make sure of that.â
âNo.â You were having a hard time blocking out how much love you still had for him, but you werenât forgiving him; there was no way.
âI swear I donât want anyone else." He held your hands and started kissing them, his lips giving you a sense of home that you missed. "Y/N, please, I love you.âÂ
You nodded weakly as you started crying again.
âYou know I love you and I would do anything for you." He continued kissing you, a few tears falling on your hands. âDo you still love me?â
âI love you... Lan-â You released one of your hands from his grip, squeezing your eyes shut and covering your face.
âSee? It will work, we will make it work." You shook your head; you were feeling stupid for almost falling for that. "Baby, look at me, itâs going to be okay, I promise.â
A moment of silence fell into the room as you collected your thoughts again, and he just looked at you hopeful that he could get you back. âWho is she?â You dared to repeat the question as you looked at him again.
He didnât say anything for a few seconds, his voice barely above a whisper when he finally answered. "Annie.â
Annie, your flatmate Annie. She had never met Lando before you, and she wasnât interested in who he was when you first told her you started dating him, so you were the reason they knew each other for all those times he picked you up from your place, and even then you never considered them to be friends; they barely exchanged any words when they ran into each other. You felt betrayed on a whole new level, not only by Lando but by her too. You had lived with her for so long, literally since the day you moved to Monaco, so you thought of her as one of your closest friends; how could she do that? And these past weeks, when she had been mourning your relationship with Lando, she was there the whole time, and she knew exactly what was happening.
âHow long?â
You were getting annoyed at how long it was taking him to answer your simple questions. âThe day we went to meet my parents... I drove to your apartment to pick you up, but you werenât there yet.â
âSo you did it at my place?â It wasnât really a question, and you felt even more disgusted at the thought of them in your own home.
âIt was one moment of weakness.â
âOne moment of weakness?â He nodded, his hands now holding on to your hips. âBut it didn't stop there, did it?â
âIâm sorry.â
You swiped the tears away as you prepared to ask the question you had been asking yourself for weeks. âWhat does she give you that I can't?â
Lando shook his head quickly. âNothing, youâre everything I could ever ask for.â
âThen why did you do that?â
He didnât have an answer; he didnât really know how it happened or why it kept going, but he couldnât deny he was enjoying it before he got caught. âI donât know." He whispered.
âDo you love her?â
âNo, of course not. I love you." He was holding you tighter, convinced that if he held you long enough, you would want to stay.
âOh my god, Iâm so stupid.â
âYou know it didnât mean anything, it was a mistake-â
âGet your hands off me, Iâm leaving,â you said as you tried to free yourself.
âBaby, please donât leave, you have to hear me out.â
âLando, let go. I donât wanna be here." Your words struggled to come out from how much you were crying.Â
âPlease donât, I donât wanna let you go." He looked up at you, his eyes begging for forgiveness. âLetâs just talk about it, yeah? Let me explain.â
âSave it, Lando, itâs over.âÂ
âIâm sorry, I wonât do it again. This is obviously my fault, so Iâll do whatever it takes to get you to stay, just please, one more chance is all Iâm asking for.â You finally freed yourself, and your only goal was to go back to your apartment and cry all your pain away. You turned around and headed to the door; his hand tried to come to stop you, but you flinched away. You couldnât bear to hear another word from him. "Baby, please, I love you.â
You turned around to face him one last time, spotting Lando still on his knees in the middle of his living room. âSo youâve said, but how can you hurt someone you claim to love so much?â He was about to say something, but you didnât wanna hear it. âThereâs nothing you can do to get me to stay, you threw everything away.â
âI know, my love, but-â
âIâm gonna leave and youâre gonna stay here, just⊠leave me alone, I donât ever wanna see you again.â
You exited the room, leaving Lando alone and a complete mess. He regretted what he did, and he wanted to think that if you would just give him a chance to explain himself, youâd forgive him. But he knew that would never be the case and that his mistake was bigger than any apology; you were right to leave him.
He stared at the door for too long, taking in every emotion he was feeling: remorse, anger, pain, agony... he just felt like life was being sucked out of his body because he ruined the most important part of it, and thereâs no one to blame but himself.

Foxes III
Jenni Hermoso x Child!Reader
Summary: You don't like touch
Spain loses to Japan.
A four nil defeat that leaves everyone a bit depressed.
Football's a boring game to you so you didn't really watch it despite sitting on the bench. Football is Mami's whole life though. You know that and you know this defeat will make her feel a bit sad.
You think that's kind of stupid because it's just a game but maybe it's different when you play a game as an adult. You don't know why it would be different but you decide that it must be because the whole team seems a little depressed about it.
"It's like when you lose a fox toy," Tia Ale says to you on the ride back to the hotel.
"I don't lose my toys," You reply, staring out the window.
"Well, if you did-"
"But I don't."
"What about when you left Roja at home?" Alexia says," Your Mami said you were sad about that. This feels like that to everyone else."
You were very sad when that happened. You missed Roja like crazy for ages after you first moved to Mexico. That must be how everyone is feeling now.
You head bobs up and down in agreement. "Okay."
You don't ask anymore questions on the ride home and Mami takes you straight up to your room for bath time. She wraps you in a nice fluffy towel before helping you into your pyjamas.
Dinner will be soon though so she throws a jumper on top of your pyjamas to keep them clean so you can go straight to bed after you've eaten.
Your hand closes around one of your foxes before leaving the room.
The girls are still a little sad, even you can tell that and you're not very good at working out what other people's feelings are.
You're the only one that's enjoying dinner which is seriously saying a lot because the food here is weird and you're very picky with what you're eating.
"Mami," You say," You still sad?"
Jenni's a little shocked at being addressed so openly. You don't like doing that in public. You're fairly silent around other people. She frowns.
"A little, osita," She says," Why? Are you feeling sad too?"
"I'm not sad," You reply. Your fork scrapes the plate wrong and you cringe, a whole body shudder going through you as you set down your cutlery.
Slowly, you shift in your chair before standing to approach Jenni.
Like your speaking, you're not big on touch either, at least in public. Jenni's used to you hanging out by her legs at home because she always wears the softest trousers and you like touching them but skin on skin had never been a big desire or need of yours.
Jenni has a hard enough time getting you to accept affection at home. She's already ruled out touching in public apart from hand holding and that was only because the alternative was a leash and you felt that was too restricting and made you breath funny.
But you curl into her lap now and give her a quick squeeze that bore some semblance of a hug. Jenni's too shocked to hug you back, jaw slack as you slip off her lap.
You go to Tia Ale next, clambering up into her seat with her and giving her a quick hug that's so fast that she doesn't realise what's happening until it's over.
Irene is next and, after seeing Jenni and Alexia go through it, she's fully prepared. But the moment her arms curl around to hug you back, you're wiggling away and already on your way.
Just because you're giving out hugs doesn't mean you need to be hugged back.
Codi's after Irene and then Mario, who both know now to allow their arms to go limp when you hug them. You go through all the Barcelona girls you know before coming straight back to Jenni.
You tug on her hand and she very gently takes yours in hers. She's slow and careful just in case you want to pull away but you let her hold your hand.
"Mami," You say.
"Yes, Osita?"
"With me...please."
Jenni stands and you lead her over to the girls in the team you've missed out, the ones that you don't know as well as the Barcelona girls. You drop Jenni's hand to hug each girl before squeezing Jenni's hand the moment you can hold it again, you other hand coming up to run your fingers over her comfortable trousers.
"That was a very nice thing you did at dinner," Jenni tells you as she tucks you into bed that night.
"Yes. Tia Ale said so," You reply, getting all snuggly and comfortable with a fox under each arm.
"Tia Ale is right," Jenni says," Your cuddles really cheered everyone up."
"Not sad anymore?" You check and Jenni nods.
"No one's sad anymore."
"Good."
Jenni presses a soft kiss to your forehead and pulls your covers all the way up. "Night, Osita. I love you."
"Love you too."

Having dug out the Unfinished Tales to reference a conversation Tolkien wrote between Gandalf and Pippin (but didnât publish) I thought Iâd share it. Gandalf is talking to Pippin about the history of Thorinâs company, hobbits and why he chose Bilbo.
This is evidence for the grand statement I just made about how Bilbo was intended to be a catalyst that changed his society, and that hobbit society was indeed significantly different after his journey, with large social changes occurring between The Hobbit and Fellowship. But itâs also a very funny passage to me so here it is:
âAnd then there was the Shire-folk. I began to have a warm place in my heart for them in the Long Winter, which none of you can remember.
They were very hard put to it then: one of the worst pinches they have been in, dying of cold, and starving in the dreadful dearth that followed. But that was the time to see their courage, and their pity one for another. It was by their pity as much as by their tough uncomplaining courage that they survived. I wanted them still to survive.
(đđđđ. Also the theme of having pity for each other is what redeems both Bilbo and Frodo re: Gollum.)
But I saw that the Westlands were in for another very bad time again, sooner or later, though of quite a different sort: pitiless war.
(This is possibly one reason why this passage didnât make it to publication - Gandalf shouldnât have had this much foreknowledge of the upcoming war of the ring.)
To come through that I thought they would need something more than they now had. It is not easy to say what. Well, they would want to know a bit more, understand a bit clearer what it was all about, and where they stood.
(Itâs also explaining that Bilboâs role in Thorinâs company was predetermined both by a more omnipotent Gandalf and by Fate; that Gandalf selected Bilbo to be a social catalyst, to return and provoke hobbit society into a more adaptable, resilient state; therefore increasing their chances of surviving.)
They had begun to forget: forget their own beginnings and legends, forget what little they had known about the greatness of the world. It was not yet gone, but it was getting buried: the memory of the high and the perilous. But you cannot teach that sort of thing to a whole people quickly. There was not time.
(Thus Bilbo was supposed to be changed, and return changed by his journey, to teach his people.)
And anyway you must begin at some point, with some one person. I dare say he was âchosenâ and I was only chosen to choose him; but I picked out Bilbo.â
âNow that is just what I want to know,â said Peregrin. âWhy did you do that?â
âHow would you select any one Hobbit for such a purpose?â said Gandalf. âI had not time to sort them all out;
(He is SO funny)
but I knew the Shire very well by that time, although when I met Thorin I had been away for more than twenty years on less pleasant business. So naturally thinking over the Hobbits that I knew, I said to myself: âI want a dash of the Tookâ (but not too much, Master Peregrin)
(This is brilliant we are always BODYING pippin constantly. NOT TOO MUCH TOOK đ. We were ROBBED not having this in canon )
âand I want a good foundation of the stolider sort, a Baggins perhaps.â That pointed at once to Bilbo.
(Eugenics! Observing them like laboratory mouse lines! Call him a Charles River BILB/o the way youâre genotyping these poor little bastards for your purposes)
And I had known him once very well, almost up to his coming of age, better than he knew me.
(??? Hiding in the bushes spying or)
I liked him then. And now I found that he was âunattachedâ â to jump on again, for of course I did not know all this until I went back to the Shire. I learned that he had never married. I thought that odd, though I guessed why it was; and the reason that I guessed was not the one that most of the Hobbits gave me: that he had early been left very well off and his own master.
(Was it cos heâs gay as fuck, Gandalf)
No, I guessed that he wanted to remain âunattachedâ for some reason deep down which he did not understand himself â or would not acknowledge, for it alarmed him.
(I 100% now and for always love a narrator in a constant state of Just Fucking Lies To Everyone All The Time, Giving Us Nothing, Acknowledging Nothing Including Himself. NOPE NOT PROCESSING ANYTHING TODAY THANKS. WEâRE CLOSED. COME BACK TOMORROW. just A Massive Liar about everything and for what!!! Bilbo Baggins my beloved you were born wrong.)
He wanted, all the same, to be free to go when the chance came, or he had made up his courage. I remembered how he used to pester me with questions when he was a youngster about the Hobbits that had occasionally âgone off â, as they said in the Shire. There were at least two of his uncles on the Took side that had done so.â
You can see why I love this! And I can see why Tolkien didnât include it, too. Still very fun passage and near enough to canon to be used if you ever want to.
#there is a joke here I will explain#Charles river breed laboratory mouse lines of which BALB/c is one of the most prolific in the world#all BALB/c mice are basically clones#đ they look like this thatâs the mouse . theyâre inbred white mice of over 100 years of inbreeding which is an unspeakable number#of mouse generations. thatâs The Mouse of a lot of laboratory research.#which I did VERY briefly as a baby lab biologist a million years ago. the trick is to work in every scientific discipline so you can make#jokes like this which will hurt one (1) mutual.#also I am tagging this#weasel heart in defiance#just so I can keep it together for purposes of - no reason.#no reason.

i don't think it actually clicked for y'all that pure consciousness is just a state of consciousness
i wrote this post basically to explain three different states of consciousness. the awake state, sleep state, and pure consciousness. you can't force yourself to become neither.
we all know that we can't force ourselves to sleep, however we can do things that can help us slip into the sleep state. just as we can't force ourselves to sleep, we can't force ourselves to induce pure consciousness. we can do things that can help us slip into the pure state of consciousness, but we can't force our states of consciousness to switch to the other. people may say "delta waves is the cheat-code to enter the void" but it's not. delta waves is a tool, and tools are meant to help us.
aside from that, and for the centillionth time, the void state is not an actual void you're transporting yourself into. it's not a void outside of you, nor a void inside of you. now hear me out again. it is not a void literally inside of you. it is not a place. you're not being transported or travelling anywhere. you're not travelling into your mind. it is simply awareness. what you are aware and not aware of.
when you are pure consciousness, you aren't aware of anything happening in the 3d, cuz your focus was away from the 3d. when we're pure consciousness, our mind is active cuz our focus is only on our thoughts cuz we are thinking, or our focus is only on our daydreams cuz we are daydreaming, or whatever our inner voice (the one you're probably using to read this post) is saying. we are being aware of our 4d.
everything is awareness. whatever you place your awareness (focus) on, will manifest the state of consciousness you'll be experiencing.
when you think of pure consciousness as an actual void that'll manifest all your desires instantly, and not a state of consciousness where you're only aware of your 4d, you will find yourself jumping from method to method, cuz you're seeing pure consciousness for something it's not. you think too highly of a state of consciousness.
when you're awake, is the word 'awake' constantly on your mind before you wake up? do you try your hardest to wake up? do you stress about being able to wake up? do you become anxious by the thought of waking up?
how about when you're asleep? is the word 'sleep' constantly in your mind before you sleep? do you try your hardest to be able to sleep? do you stress about being able to sleep? do you become anxious by the thought of sleeping?
so what's the actual difference with pure consciousness? you can manifest while you're awake, and you can manifest while you're asleep. you can manifest in literally any state of consciousness... so what's the actual difference?
when y'all understand that awake, asleep, and pure consciousness are all on the same level, then you'll realise that all the mental gymnastics y'all like to perform were for nothing. y'all don't see sleeping nor being awake as all that... do the same with pure consciousness.
and stop thinking too hard about pure consciousness too! đđ©·

Ok, it was basically a request where the batboys brought their significant other as their date to a gala for the first time, they leave for a second (to get drinks or go to the bathroom or something to that end) and when they come back the see their S/O being harassed by a group of socialite women that keep talking about how they canât believe someone like the batboy is with such a plain little nobody. That was the gist of it. Sorry đŁ
I kinda made Timâs as bit different than requested, but I couldnât help but see him grill an entire household and their business ventures. Then again I kinda took creative liberties with all of them.
Dick
Is the type to put on an extremely strained smile across his face as he puts his arm over your shoulders.
âWhatâs wrong my love, why the saddened face?â He asks you sweetly, intentionally ignoring the rich and powerful in front of you both.
âOh donât worry yourself withâŠthat thing dear Richard, theyâre too emotional to be in a room with people they could only dream of being in the presence of. I wouldnât get so close to it if I were you, you might catch their filth.â One of them sneered and Dickâs jaw tensed in agitation as his eyes remained on you.
âDo you wanna leave?â He says in a whisper as he wipes a tear away from your cheek, lightly pinching it in hopes of seeing you smile at him.
âYes please, I want to go home and be with Hayley.â You whispered back, griping his arms tightly, thankful that his body blocked out the rich people that were berating you. Dickâs face softened as he kissed the top of your head, hoping of giving you some form of comfort in your time of distress, before looking back at the rich people with a faux grin.
âIf you please excuse us, my lovely sweetheart, my beloved cutie and my forever lover wishes to leave this drab place and who am I to deny my love of her wishes, for I shall wait on them hand and for forever if it pleases them so because between you and me?â He then leans close to them. âYou donât have the heart to sacrifice everything for the one you love, if you even have hearts in the first place. You posses no freedom and no personality whatsoever for anyone to love nor adore, them however?â He points towards you as you look at him with a small smile, a smile so sweet that Dick couldnât help but smile back.
âThey are my everything. I couldnât think about living without them, not when theyâve donât nothing but be kind and respectful of me and my time. I donât deserve them but neither does this city, theyâre an angel in human skin that I wish to worship as long as theyâll let me.â You could feel your cheeks burn at his words as your smiles widened at the twinkle of love within his gorgeous eyes. Dick had a way with words unlike any other and despite being on the receiving end of them for a while now, you still find yourself becoming alight with emotions because of him.
âSo if youâll excuse me kindly.â Dick says as he takes your hand and walks you both out of the door where he stops to look at you with concern.
âI am so sorry you had to deal with them, apparently money makes someone feel entitled to speaking on someone elseâs relationship.â Dick spat as he glared at the grand double doors and you touched his cheek, making him melt into your touch, kissing your palm.
âItâs okay Dickie bird, letâs just forget this night and go home, get out of these clothes and into some comfy pyjamas and cuddle on the couch as we watch soaps.â You say as you attempt to calm him down from his passionate outburst and declaration of love, which seems to work as Dickâs eyes twinkled with excitement.
âCan we wear the matching pyjamas that I got us and Hayley?â He asks and you couldnât help but kiss his lip, finding him too adorable in this moment in time, which is something of a occurrence as youâd soon find as you reflect back on your relationship. âOf course my sweetie, of course we can wear matching pyjamas.â You replied and Dick cheered as he leaned to kiss you fully on the lip, his happiness having been contagious as you smiled into the kiss.
Damian
Wishes Bruce didnât confiscate the sword from him.
Heâs the type who can silence anyone with a single fucking glare. So when he sees that you, his beloved, was being harassed by the elitist snobs.
Heâs quick to step in and start berating them himself, all dignity and respect has gone out the window for these cretins donât deserve an ounce of it as far as he was aware. âI donât believe that my relationships are your concern,â he begins, âyouâre not kin and thus shouldâve learned at an early age that not every topic of interest requires your out of touch input.â
âWha-â they tried to say but Damian was back on them with another verbal assault.
âAlso I could hear you from across the room, didnât your parents or paid teacher teach you about volume control? or did they get paid extra to not say a thing in fear your fragile little ego gets crushed under the harsh truth?â Damian then spits out as he feels you clinging onto his back, which only fuels his need to berate these vile people as karma.
Damian would be their karma if it was the last thing he did.
The rich people chocked on air, not knowing what to say as it was hard to do so when Damian was staring them down, wanting them to say something, anything so that he could verbally beat them down until they submit. He lives for a verbal spat but unfortunately the people whom heâs up against have never had to fight for their honour and dignity, they just paid people to shut up or have people who encourage their pathetic, self entitled behaviour.
âEnough, donât hurt yourself trying to think with whateverâs behind those pompous eyes of yours.â Damian sneered as he looks to you with a soft look. âLetâs go my beloved, I have already informed my father of the situation and has Alfred come pick us up to take us back to the manor.â He says softly as he takes your hand in his as you both began walking away form the group of gobsmacked rich folks, a sight to behold truly as those entitled Individuals love nothing more then the sound of their own voice.
âWhyâd you do that?â You asked and Damian looked at you as though you grew a second head.
âDo what? Defend your honour, is that not what a lover is meant to do?â He says with a raised brow and you couldnât help but feel a little silly, of course Damian would defend your honour to the death but still insecurities tend to make you forget his undying loyalty.
âYouâre right Iâm sorry, Iâm just being a little stupid.â You replied as you downcast your eyes to the floor and Damian stopped to lift your head up by your chin as his emerald eyes glint with concern. âDo not heed their words my treasure, for they lack a love that isnât in due to money. Ours is genuine, if thereâs anyone who has to fear for our relationship it is me for I am not the easiest to deal with at times.â Damian admits as he lets go of your chin.
âThatâs not true.â You retorted, holding his cheek in your free hand, caressing his cheek. âYouâre perfect the way you are! A work in progress in being even more beautiful than before and Iâm happy to be by your side and watch you grow into an amazing person dami.â You add as you kiss his cheek, making him smile softly as he rubs against your hand.
âSee, this is what Iâm talking about.â Damian says softly. âYou are perfection, a being beyond words and Iâd be a fool if I didnât treasure you entirely.â
Jason
Thatâs it, youâre leaving.
Jason tried to be civil but itâs hard to be civil with out of touch, tone deaf, Botox having, plastic surgery abusing, elite snobs that couldnât fucking lace their own shoes because their filthy money had that be someone elseâs job.
Heâs not fucking staying and neither are you to deal with verbal abuse by people who single handedly have run Gotham into the ground with their shady tactics, personally funding the corrupt police officers, police officers that dare spout words like âprotect and serveâ as though they know the meaning of the fucking word.
Heâs marching over to you and grabbing your hand, intertwining your fingers together as heâs walking you both out of the room, leaving the elites to talk amongst themselves as he guided you outside where thankfully no elite snob can eavesdrop on either of you.
âAre you okay?â He asks you as he holds your face between his hands.
âNo⊠I want to go home.â You admitted, their words cutting deeper than youâd ever think imaginable.
Jason felt anger flowing through his veins but he knew that you needed him more then ever at this moment, so shouting at some elite snobs can wait for another day, you were his highest priority as he brought you into his chest and kissing your head. âThen weâre going home.â He says with certainty.
âWhat about Bruce?â You asked, looking at him with tearful eyes, not wanting their relationship to fracture just as it was slowly starting to mend.
Jason shrugged, uncaring of what the old man would think, you got insulted and he wasnât going to let it slide in the slightest. âFuck Bruce, youâre what matters to me.â Jason says as he kisses your nose, cheeks and lips softly before resting his head against yours. âNow letâs ditch this place and go get ourselves some burgers, how does that sound chipmunk?â
You chuckled. âCan we get some fries too.â
âOf course we can, whatever my sweetheart desires.â Jason replies as he takes your hand again, this time leading you both out of the grand building in a quest to satiate your feelings with the most greasiest of foods.
Tim
Has the most dirt on the elite in my eyes.
Every scandal, every controversy, every crime theyâve committed and gotten away with by covering it up. He has a file as thick as a book on them and heâs not afraid to use it.
And needless to say that the idea to destroy their reputation was more then tempting then ever when he sees that your being harassed. So when he confronts them on their behaviour, he gets really cryptic about how much he actually knows about these people to such an intimate level.
âI know what you did.â Heâd say.
âWhat are you on about?â Theyâd ask, thinking this was all a bit to make them laugh.
âFriday 12th, 12:55am. The incident that cost workers their lives, families whom of which youâve failed to compensate for who are now threatening to take you to court before you dealt with them in hush money. All just so it doesnât leak to the press that you knew what you were dealing with was highly unstable and willingly let those workers in unstable and dangerous working conditions.m Tim watches as their faces drop, preparation visible on their foreheads and he continues on, feeling you squeeze his arm.
âOnly to end up illegally selling the product to unground crime syndicates to make ends meet in due to how much money youâve initially lost.â Tim then says in response, watched as their faces become unsettlingly pale as they excuse themselves while exiting the room.
Heâll say or this or just say âthey are after what theyâre owed.â And leave it at that.
Once heâs satisfied that heâs silenced them and damaged their egos, he looks to you with concerned eyes. âAre you okay lovely?â He asks you as he sees just how small youâve made yourself because of them.
âIâm fine Tim thanks to you.â You said as you hugged him tightly, kissing his cheek as he pats your back before rubbing it soothingly. â I thought they wouldnât shut up, or follow me whether I went just to degrade me for walking or whether else they could degrade me for.â You add as you burrowed your head into his neck, wanting to forget this had ever happened.
âAll you need to remember is that theyâre more flawed and easier to expose, you however,â Tim kisses your temple, tightening his hold, âare more then they could ever comprehend and have more heart and soul then they do and I couldnât be prouder to be your partner. Thank you for choosing me.â He finished.
âIâd choose you every time Tim.â You replied.
âThen expect me to do the same bedside thereâs no one else Iâd rather have them you.â Tim promised as you stayed in this embrace for a good while before deciding to leave and watch your favourite show on his laptop for comfort.

Yay I'm going to get all Political and angry again.
So pretty much every trans American is probably aware of the Sarah McBride situation at this point, but here's the bullet point summary if needed for anyone else:
Sarah McBride gets elected to the House as the first transgender member of Congress in US history.
Republicans predictably flip their shit. They pass internal rules of conduct that prohibit trans people from using bathrooms of their gender and stating that bathroom use is defined by AGAB. It obviously singles out McBride, but I believe there are trans staffers that are also affected.
McBride issues a statement that she will abide by these rules, and pretty much only use the bathroom directly associated with her physical office. She issues a statement saying she "wasn't elected for bathrooms" and will instead fight in issues that matter, with a milquetoast criticism of Republicans for wasting time on this.
Many trans Americans are predictably scared and disappointed by this, especially because this internal house rule is being used as a blueprint for more extensive laws, including a likely ban on trans people in gendered bathrooms in all federal land and buildings (including, notably for me, national parks. Which breaks my heart, but that's a different rant.)
There's been a lot of disappointment and criticism of McBride over this. The general leftist reaction has been criticism. There's lots of people that have expressed disappointment or rage, including Erin Reed, and also more "personality" type people like Vaush and Jessie Gender.
Now.
I'm disappointed too.
But. And please keep reading before chewing me out for being an apologist.
I think we can all understand that McBride is in an impossible situation. If she fights this too hard, then it vindicates the Republican rhetoric that Dems are crazy trans obsessed leftists. But there's a fear that this will only lead to more infringements of rights for trans people. McBride is completely stuck, and is a junior, freshly elected member of Congress who is trying to figure out how to make her voice the most effective.
I am so, so fucking tired of rights being ceded one by one. So I'm disappointed. But yeah, I understand McBride's statement.
But there's just one tiny. Eeny weeny. Minor. Itty Bitty question having over all of this. Just one little concern.
Where.
The fuck.
Are the rest of the Democrats?!?!?!?
There is a PAINFULLY fucking easy solution to all of this. McBride needs backing, solidarity, and other people to speak for her. If she's worried about her voice being effective, and being branded as the crazy trans representative, then step the fucking up, you spineless liberal slimebags.
AOC is the only one that I know of that has expressed any real opposition or anger. Her statements are getting aaallll the airtime.
But the real story is McBride's sentiment being echoed amongst the entire party. This is absolutely some kind of official platform. The fucking grumbling, milquetoast finger waving and "well I don't like this, but there's nothing to be done! Anyways"
Of fucking course minorites are abandoning the left. The message they're sending is "we'll abandon you with the most pathetic of excuses. We don't give a shit." Trimming groups out of their support one by one.
McBride is doing the impossible calculus of trying to be the most effective on the house floor. It's an insane task for a trans woman. And yeah, she got it wrong this time. But where the fuck is the anger for her cis colleagues? Why the fuck aren't people angry and terrified for everyone that let this shit happen?
As much as people love the narrative of the line wolf resistor, resistance takes coordination, effort, and solidarity. Without that, what would McBride raising opposition even be? One representative against the hundreds of others.
And yeah, of course I didn't expect any better from the Democratic party. But you should be disappointed and mad at your representative, not just McBride.

God damn, this hits too close to home for me
I did a similar thing where instead of interacting with others (knowing people didn't exactly want me involved with whatever they were doing) I'd instead just sit on my own and just do my own thing, mostly just escaping to my own mind, daydreaming up all sorts of things (mostly my own imaginary worlds and fictional characters)
I think it still kinda applies to now, but at a lesser degree, it just became a coping method to me now to escape to my own mind and imagine what my wacky little guys would do in different scenarios
People underestimate how much it fucks you up to be subtly excluded as a kid. I would try to talk to my classmates and be met with disinterest or annoyance. The one friend I had, who I clung to and nodded along to his every word, had other friends he liked just as much or more. And his other friends didnât care for me at all.
I look back at pictures from the time and see how separated I was from them. I remember knowing I was different. I remember posing questions about the world to the girls playing next to me and realizing that they had never asked the same ones to themselves. That the ways we thought couldnât be more different.
I kept myself amused with my own fanatical stories and musings in my head. I would wander the playground on a circular path, imagining a friend and being sorely disappointed when it didnât feel as real as Iâd hoped.
There was a bubble separating me from everyone else, thin, and nearly invisible, but with a pearly sheen you could catch under the right conditions. I knew it was there, they knew it was there, and it changed me

â general masterlist â
TOJI FUSHIGURO AND SAMPO KOSKI â BUSINESS DEALS!
toji had a habit of turning things up a notch, but this? this was a different league altogether.Â
when you first saw sampo koski at your doorstep, looking like trouble in an expensive coat with a shit-eating grin, you thought it was just one of toji's stupid pranks.
âbrought reinforcements,â toji had said, voice dripping with smug amusement. sampo, ever the showman, swept into the room like he owned it, opening a sleek case filled with an impressive lineup of toys. your face burned, mortification clashing with a thrill you couldnât deny.
and now? god, you were wrecked. sprawled out on the bed, legs trembling, body hypersensitive, and your mind a haze of overstimulation. sampoâs laugh was low and teasing, his voice dripping with condescension. âlook at you, so eager to thank us for every little thing. whoâs my favorite little client, huh?â
tojiâs hand, firm and warm, pressed on your lower back, pinning you down as he leaned close to your ear. âye got a lotttta stamina, babe, but you donât think weâre stoppin' now, do ya?â
every whimper, every moan that escaped your lips only fueled their sadistic amusement. sampo alternated between cruel, taunting comments and offering you praise that made your head spin, while toji took full advantage of your pliant state, whispering filthy things about how good you looked falling apart for them.
it was endless, round after round, with every toy from sampoâs collection coming into play. the overwhelming sensations had you slurring broken words of gratitude and sobbing from the sheer intensity, unable to think, just feel.
âwe might have to invest in more,â sampo mused, twirling a dildo in his hand like it was a business proposition. âour sweet little thing here seems to have a taste for luxury.â
toji laughed, a dark and throaty sound. âoh, donât worry, sheâll take everythin' we give her. wouldnât want her to get spoiled though⊠unless you like bein' spoiled, baby?â
you could barely respond, too lost in the haze, but the smirk they exchanged promised that your torment â and pleasure â was far from over.
GOJO SATORU & AVENTURINE â ALL IN!
âa brother from another mother,â gojo had said with that usual mischievous grin, clapping aventurine on the shoulder like they werenât both trouble incarnate. aventurine, all sharp smiles and unnerving eyes, had leaned in, his sandy-blond hair catching the light, and said, ânice to meet you, sweetheart. gojoâs told me allll about you. every. single. thing.â
you didnât know if it was the way aventurineâs voice dripped with something wicked or the way gojo gave him a knowing smirk, but you had a feeling this meeting wasnât going to stay innocent for long. and god, were you right.
now? now you were caught between them, your senses obliterated, every nerve ending alight. aventurineâs hand tilted your chin up, forcing your dazed eyes to meet his. âthink you can handle another round, sweetheart? satoru says youâre good for it, but Iâd like to see for myself.â
âsheâs better than good,â gojo cut in, his tone smug as his hand trailed down your side, igniting shivers in its wake. âbut letâs make this fun â wanna bet how long it takes before sheâs begging again?â
aventurineâs grin widened, all teeth and danger. âoh, youâre on. but letâs not stop there. how about we bet on how many times she screams my name?â
you were barely holding it together, their words tangling in your hazy mind as their hands and mouths worked you over. every move was calculated, every kiss, every thrust a competition to see who could unravel you faster.
aventurine was smooth and precise, his calculated touches finding every spot that made you see stars, while gojo was relentless, teasing and taunting as he pushed you to your limits. they coordinated like theyâd done this a hundred times before, one filling the spaces where the other left off, leaving you no room to recover.
âlook at her,â aventurine said, his voice a low purr as he watched your trembling form. âa little overwhelmed, arenât you, sweetheart? donât worry, youâll get used to it. maybe.â
ânah,â gojo chimed in, his grin never faltering. âshe loves it. just look at how sheâs clinging to us â like she doesnât want it to end.â
you could barely respond, lost in the pleasure as their playful banter became background noise to the overwhelming sensations. every sound you made, every time your body betrayed you, only fueled their competitive fire.
âi think thatâs my point,â aventurine declared triumphantly when you screamed his name, your voice cracking from the intensity.
âoh, donât get cocky,â gojo shot back, his tone light but his actions anything but. âweâre just getting started.â
and you? you couldnât even protest. not that you wanted to. you were here to enjoy the ride, and with these two, it was shaping up to be the wildest ride of your life.
CHOSO KAMO & DAN HENG â SOCIALLY FUCKED ANXIOUS!
choso had always been your sweet, reserved boyfriend â the type whoâd spend hours listening to you, loving you with a quiet devotion that melted your heart. so when he mentioned he was making friends, especially someone like dan heng, you couldnât have been prouder.
but this? this was unexpected.
dan heng, all elegance and composure, was seated next to choso, his blue eyes studying you with a mix of intrigue and desire that sent a shiver down your spine. choso, your shy, anxious boyfriend, was the one who suggested it. his voice soft but firm, his dark eyes burning with an intensity you didnât know he had. âonly if you want to,â he murmured, his hand holding yours with that same gentle warmth youâd always known.
and now here you were, sandwiched between them, their lips worshipping every inch of you. dan hengâs kisses were slow, deliberate, trailing down your body with reverence, while choso stayed closer, his lips brushing against your neck as he murmured sweet reassurances.
âyouâre so beautiful,â dan heng said softly, his voice like silk, as his hands mapped your curves.
choso nodded, his voice thick with adoration. âperfect. always perfect.â
but their tenderness didnât last. it wasnât long before patience gave way to raw hunger. dan hengâs composure cracked first, his movements becoming urgent as he gripped your hips, his kisses turning into bites that left you gasping. choso followed suit, his shyness replaced by a desperation youâd only seen glimpses of before, his hands firm as they guided you exactly where he wanted.
their rhythm was relentless, their coordination uncanny as they pushed you to multiple orgasms over and over again. chosoâs soft murmurs of praise contrasted with dan hengâs deep, rumbling groans, the combination leaving you breathless and shaking.
âyou can take it,â dan heng growled, his usual calm voice tinged with something feral as he watched you writhe between them.
âyouâre doing so good for us,â choso added, his tone still laced with love, even as his thrusts grew rougher, more insistent.
you couldnât speak, couldnât think, your body overwhelmed by their touch, their intensity. all you could do was surrender, grateful for every moment, every sensation.
as the night blurred into a haze of pleasure, one thought lingered in your mind: you were so glad choso had stepped out of his comfort zone. if this was what friendship brought, you were more than happy to let him keep making new ones.
NANAMI KENTO & VERITAS RATIO â LESSON IN RELIEF!
nanami had always spoken highly of veritas ratio, his tone fond yet full of respect whenever his name came up. âa genius,â he would say, âbut insufferably eccentric.â still, he admired ratioâs dedication to teaching and his unmatched intellect, and when his best friend visited, nanami insisted on inviting him to stay at your home.
ratio was a sight to behold â his wavy violet hair fell over one eye, the other catching you with its piercing, dual-toned gaze. he was polite, almost reserved, but the sharpness in his eyes betrayed his mind at work, constantly analyzing, constantly thinking.
you hadnât expected the night to turn this way.
âsheâs yours for the evening,â nanami had said, his voice calm, almost businesslike, as though he were discussing dinner plans instead of offering you up to his best friend. âi know how taxing your work is, ratio. consider it my way of thanking you for all the years of friendship.â
ratio hadnât needed to be asked twice. his demeanor shifted as he approached you, the intensity of his gaze pinning you in place. âa most generous gift, nanami,â he said, his tone smooth, his lips curling into a small, amused smile. âi promise to make the most of it.â
you had barely registered the words before ratioâs hands were on you, firm yet measured, like he was solving a complex problem with precision. his lips brushed against your neck, his breath hot as he murmured, âso eager to help, arenât you? a willing participant in your husbandâs⊠generosity.â
nanami watched, seated nearby with a glass of whiskey in hand, his expression composed but his eyes betraying a flicker of satisfaction. âdonât go too easy on her, ratio. she can handle more than she lets on.â
ratio chuckled, low and dark, as his hands roamed your body. âoh, i donât intend to.â
he wasnât gentle â not entirely. his movements were calculated, his touch almost clinical at first, but it didnât take long for his restraint to unravel. his words came fast, sharp, like a lecture, each one making you tremble under his control.
âyouâre quite the distraction,â he mused, his voice edged with amusement. âno wonder nanami looks so content these days. it seems i underestimated just how⊠accommodating you are.â
you barely heard nanamiâs low chuckle over your own gasps and moans, your body responding to ratioâs relentless attention. his strength surprised you, his hands gripping your thighs as he pushed you past every limit you thought you had.
âgood girl,â ratio praised, his voice a mix of condescension and admiration as he watched you fall apart. âyouâre learning quickly. maybe thereâs hope for the future generation after all.â
âsheâs an excellent student,â nanami added, his tone warm with pride. âbut sheâs all yours for now, ratio. donât hold back.â
and ratio didnât. by the end of the night, you were utterly spent, every nerve in your body alight, your mind foggy with exhaustion and satisfaction. as you lay there, caught between them, you couldnât help but think how lucky you were to have a husband so generous â and a man like ratio to appreciate the gift.
RYOMEN SUKUNA & BLADE â A LORDâS DECREE!
sukuna was as cruel as he was powerful, a lord whose sadistic streak ran deep. you had earned your title as his consort, climbing from the ranks of his concubines, yet even now, his affection came wrapped in torment. his amusement at your expense was a constant reminder of his dominion over you.
tonight was no exception.
âyouâll honor my general,â sukuna commanded, his voice a rumble of authority as he reclined on his throne, sharp eyes watching you like a predator savoring its prey. his lips curved into a smirk, his four arms resting lazily, exuding dominance.
before you stood blade, the general who had delivered yet another victory in sukunaâs name. he was imposing, with dark blue hair tipped in crimson, his red eyes sharp and unyielding. the bandages on his body only added to his aura, a testament to his countless battles.
âkneel,â sukuna ordered, his tone leaving no room for hesitation.
you obeyed, trembling but determined not to falter under your lordâs gaze. blade remained stoic, his expression unreadable as you lowered yourself before him.
âuse that mouth of yours well,â sukuna drawled, leaning forward slightly, his smirk deepening. âbut remember, pet, blade knows better than to take liberties. isn't that right, general?â
bladeâs deep voice was steady, but there was an edge to it. âof course, my lord. your word is absolute.â
you began, your movements tentative at first, the weight of sukunaâs gaze a constant pressure. bladeâs restraint was palpable, his body tense as you worked, every sound you elicited from him controlled, calculated.
âgood,â sukuna murmured, his voice dripping with sadistic satisfaction. âyou should feel honored, blade. not everyone gets to enjoy my consortâs talents.â
bladeâs only response was a low grunt, his eyes flickering to sukuna briefly before returning to you. his self-control was admirable, but you could sense the strain, the effort it took for him to abide by sukunaâs decree.
âdonât get greedy,â sukuna warned, his tone sharp as a blade. âyou know the consequences if you so much as think about taking more.â
bladeâs voice was a strained rasp. âi wouldnât dare, my lord.â
sukuna chuckled darkly, his amusement clear as he watched the scene unfold. âgood. remember your place, general.â
you could feel your own limits approaching, the intensity of the situation overwhelming, but sukunaâs laughter reminded you that this was as much a test for you as it was for blade.
âdonât stop now, pet,â sukuna said, his grin widening. âyou wouldnât want me to think youâre slacking, would you?â
you shook your head weakly, redoubling your efforts despite the ache in your jaw, the humiliation of it all only fueling sukunaâs sadistic pleasure.
when it was finally over, blade stepped back, his expression unreadable, though you could see the faintest flicker of gratitude in his eyes. sukuna, meanwhile, looked utterly pleased, his laughter echoing through the chamber.
âa celebration worthy of my general,â sukuna declared, his tone mocking. âwell done, pet. perhaps you are worthy of your title after all.â
you swallowed hard, your body trembling as you knelt before him, his cruel gaze still heavy on you. being sukunaâs consort meant enduring his games, his punishments, and his praise â if it could even be called that.
and yet, you wouldnât dare question your place by his side.

can you see the stars in your dreams (and do they have a lot to say about me) - Part 17
Or: a secret Admirer AU
PART 1 || PART 2 || PART 3 || PART 4 || PART 5 || PART 6 || PART 7 || PART 8 || PART 9 || PART 10 || PART 11 || PART 1 || PART 13 || PART 14 || PART 15 || PART 16
Eddieâs back to school on Tuesday, black eye turning a mottled sort of green, lip scabbed over. From where heâs hemmed in by Robin and Chrissy, Steve watches Eddie catch a glimpse of him and bolt the other way.
Jeff sighs, lets go of his hold on Chrissyâs arm, and says, âsorry, Steve. Iâm just gonnaââ and then he points toward Eddie and follows after him without another word.
Steveâs gut clenches with guilt. Heâd put that look on Eddieâs face, had caused the rift in his and Jeffâs friendship, had split the forming group up with his ridiculous crush. But Chrissy and Robin are still here, standing by his side.
âAre he and Jeff okay?â Steve asks, biting his lip as he glances at Chrissy.
âI think so,â she says, looking after her boyfriend. âThey talked on the phone, but Jeff didnât tell me what about.â
âForget about them,â Robin replies, reaching out to take his hand even as it makes everyone around them stare. âCome on, Stevie, or weâll be late to Ms. Clickity Clackâs class.â
Steve passes the rest of the day in a daze, the spot at his side a revolving cast of Chrissy, Robin, and Jeff, like theyâd all talked behind his back and decided he couldnât be trusted with being alone right now. Steve canât blame them because as soon as heâs left unattended in his big empty house, he gets out his notebook and pen, and begins to write.
  Eddie â
Iâm sorry I never got to read your last letter, but it wasnât for me anyways. Maybe none of them were, not really. And Iâm sorry about that, even sorrier about how your pretty face got caught in the ceasefire. Iâm just full of sorries Iâm to scared to tell to your faceâfrom the way you ran when you saw me in the hallway this morning, maybe you wouldnât want me to anyway.
Youâve always been the brave one, so you must really want to not see me, huh? I hope you and Jeff are friends again. Iâm sorry about that too, Iâm the one who asked him not to tell you. I was afraid, but thatâs no excuse.
I donât know how to stop wanting to right write to you. I canât turn off the part of me that still wants to know everything about you. Thereâs a whole in my heart, and I keep trying to find people to fill it, but I can never be in love with someone who loves me back. You know?
Iâm sorry, Eddie. Maybe someday, Iâll get to say it to your face.
  Sorry,
  Steve
He closes the notebook on the damning words and shoves it into his nightstand so he doesnât have to look at it. Sleep doesnât comeâthe house is too quiet. He grabs the phone off his dresser and calls the only other person he knows whose parents trust them enough to have a phone in their bedroom.
âHâlo?â Robin mutters sleepily after finally picking up the phone six rings later.
She sounds tiredâSteveâs sorry he woke her. âI wrote another letter,â he says.
That seems to perk her up instantly, as she hisses down the line, âSteven James Harrington.â
âNot my name, Robin Steven Bobbington,â he replies, talking right over her shrieked âwell, thatâs not mine!â to continue, âIâm not going to send it.â
âYou better not,â she replies, and Steve can hear some rustling on her end, like sheâs settling back down into her bed. He wishes, suddenly, that he was in there with her, clutching her hand as they fall asleep side by side. Instead, he lays down on his own bed and concentrates on the noises coming down the line.
âIs it stupid that I miss him?â he asks.
âYeah, kinda.â
âRobin!â
She laughs, a quiet sleepy chuckle that warms him straight through. âIâm just saying! Heâs been treating you like shit, Stevie.â
Steve sighs, burrowing down under his comforter and taking the phone with him. âHe was different in the letters,â he whispers, like someone in his empty house might hear him otherwise. âSweeter, you know?â
Robin sighs, âIâm sorry.â
âYeah, me too.â
Thereâs enough sorries to go around for all of them, apparently. Theyâre quiet for a while, Robinâs breathing keeping him company in his big, lonely bed with his big, lonely thoughts.
âI love you, Robbie,â he whispers. âYou know that, right?â
Heâs been saying it a lot lately, throwing the words around like theyâll connect this time and get him something real. And they had, with Chrissy, with Robin, hell, even with Jeff. Just, not with Eddie. Maybe someday, heâll learn to be okay with that.
âLove you, too, Dingus,â Robin replies, like itâs easy.
He falls asleep that night to the sound of Robinâs quiet snoring.
***
Eddie thinks about itâobsessively, compulsively. He dreams about it, jerks off about it, fucking cries about it. He reads the letters, again, and again, and again, wishing desperately that he still had that first one. At school, he checks his locker obsessively, compulsively, hoping thereâs another note in his lockerâthere never is.
âDude, whatâs your problem?â Gareth asks, an elbow into Eddieâs side.
âOw, ribs!â Eddie cries, curling away from him and into Doug at their usual lunch table.
âSorry!â Gareth replies, leaning away from him and raising his hands up like thatâll somehow prove heâs harmless.
Jeff snorts around his sandwich, âgotta be careful, Gare-bear. Heâs precious cargo now.â
âOh fuck off,â Eddie replies, rolling his eyes as the rest of Hellfire laugh around him.
âNo, but seriously, dude,â Gareth asks, this time without the thrown elbow. âWhatâs up with you?â
Eddie looks across the cafeteria at Steve and Chrissyâs usual spots, still empty the way they have been for weeks. He worries, sometimes, that theyâre not eating, and itâs his fault.
Hopefully, theyâre just packing lunches from home and eating somewhere else (heâs been too afraid to check).
âCanât tell you buddy,â Eddie replies, still looking at the empty spot like thatâll somehow make the duo appear. âI promised.â
Gareth, clearly having followed his line of sight, leans closer and asks in an unsubtle whisper, âbut itâs about you know what?â
Doug sits on, oblivious, but Jeff snorts again and asks, âokay, you didnât tell me jack shit, but you told the freshman?â
âSophomore, jackass!â Gareth cries, before seeming to realize the implications of Jeffâs sentence. âYou told Jeff?â
âI knew before you did,â Jeff says smugly, and Eddieâs starting to get pissed off about that again.
âHow!â
âJeff, dearest?â Eddie grits out. âDo you want me to punch you in the face?â
That shuts the table up catastrophically. But in the end, Jeff sighs and says, âIâm coming over after school,â and the rest of lunch is spent fielding Garethâs indignant questions.
True to his word, Jeff climbs into Eddieâs passenger seat at the end of the day. Eddie doesnât take them to the trailer, he just drives around, taking back roads round and round, restlessness making his fingers twitch in the gear shift.
Jeffâs the one who breaks the silence, in the end. âIâm sorry I didnât tell you,â he says, making Eddie flinch at the sudden noise. âSteve just seemed so scared, and Chrissy was crying soââ
âHe was scared?â Eddie interrupts, stuck on the thought. Heâd known that, before, but now that Eddieâs afraid, too, it hits like a punch to the chest.
âOf course he was,â Eddie replies to his own question. Suddenly unable to focus, Eddie pulls over to the side of the road. âIâm scared, too.â
Jeff sucks in a breath; Eddie doesnât look away from his own knees.
âYeah?â
Eddie bites his lip, knowing that Jeff will be able to read between the lines. âYeah.â His eyes are watering, and Eddie swipes at them, embarrassed. âAnd I know weâre supposed to be talking about us, but I justââ
âNo, hey,â Jeff replies. Eddie hears the sound of his seatbelt unbuckling, and the rustle of him shifting in his seat, and suddenly, Jeffâs hand is clasping Eddieâs shoulder, shaking him around just a little. âYouâre my best friendâweâre fine, dude.â
Eddie swipes at his eyes again, âI think I want to ask him out, but what if Iâm wrong?â Eddie asks, tracking Jeffâs expression out of the corner of his eye. âI donât want to hurt him again.â
âSo, what?â Jeff asks, voice deadpan. âYou find out he likes you and suddenly heâs not just a jock anymore?â
Eddie looks down at his own knees, bracing for a hit he knows will never come. But, Eddieâs always been good at hurting himself, so he thinks about that yellow nail polish again, the enraptured look in Steveâs eyes during every D&D session, the way heâd glued himself to Robin Buckley, band nerd supremeâs side in recent weeks. The way heâd look at Eddie like he wasnât the king of the freaks, like he was worth something.
âHe was never just a jock,â Eddie murmurs. âI just never let myself think about it.â
Jeff mmmhmms him and Eddie knows him well enough to hear the doubt beneath the agreement.
âI was afraid, okay?â Eddie laments, scrunching his eyes closed tight until that makes his bruised eye ache too much. âYou wouldnât get it.â
At that, Jeff scoffs, and before Eddie can start up another tirade, he replies, âright, the black guy dating a white girl in Po-dunk, Indiana has no idea how scary it can be to make a move on the person you like.â
Okay, fair.
âYou know what could happen if the wrong person finds out?â Jeff continues. âIâll be lucky if they let me get out of town alive.â
âOkay, okay! I get it, sorry!â Eddie cries, throwing his hands up in defeat. And Jeff, being the asshole he is, just laughs at his discomfort. âHowâs that going anyway?â
âWith Chrissy?â Jeff asks, continuing when Eddie nods. âSheâs great, man. I really, really like her.â
Heâs smiling all goofy and in love. Eddie waits for the jealousy to hit; it never comes. Even as heâd flirted with her, thereâd always been a disconnect for him between the letters and the girl. He knows why, now.
âIâm happy for you.â
Jeff aims that same goofy smile at him and punches his shoulder. âThanks, man.â
Eddie wants to feel that way about someone. He wants to think of them and smile like he just canât help himself. And with Steve Harrington of all people, maybe he can.
âIf I ask Steve out, do you think heâll still say yes?â
âOh, for sure,â Jeff replies without hesitation before he turns to Eddie and eyes him up and down. âBut are you sure you want to?â
Eddie bites back the defensive retort rising on his tongue, and grits out, âwhat do you mean?â
Jeff sighs and leans back in his chair. Eddie waits, three seconds from snapping as he stews in Jeffâs silence, hands clenched so hard against the steering wheel that it feels like one of his nails might pop clean off.Â
âJeffââ
âNo oneâs ever liked you before!â Jeff cries, and it hits Eddie like a punch to the sternum. âAnd maybe itâs not fair of me to ask but, are you sure you even really like him?â
âWhat?â Eddie asks, his mind a record skipping against a bent needle. âWhat do youââ
âEddie, man,â Jeff sighs, swiveling his head to finally look Eddie directly in the eyes. âDo you like Steve Harrington, or do you just like that he likes you?â
He drops the wheel, hands almost numb as he shakes them out, no longer able to meet Jeffâs eye.Â
How would anyone ever know that for sure? How can he know the origin of a feeling when itâs been there, simmering in the background of his brain, just waiting for him to wake up? How can he separate the feeling for a person and the personâs feeling for them?
Thatâs like asking him to unbraid his hair, let it fall back together, and still be able to tell which strands made up each component of the braidâit canât be done.
But, âGareth said I was obsessed with him,â Eddie replies, barely above a whisper. âLike, before I knew he wrote the letters?â
âYeah?â
âYeah.â Eddie laughs, but itâs just like Steve saidâit sounds different when he doesnât think itâs funny. âAnd, he was right, you know? I was flirting with Chrissy, but I couldnât stop thinking about him.â
Eddie runs a shaking hand through his hair and buries his face into his hands with a shudder. âHeâs justâheâs Steve Harrington, right? Everyone knows everything about him, but then he just changes the script!â Eddieâs smiling now, manic, animated. âAnd I wanted to know everything.â
Eddie drops his hands to look over at Jeff, meeting his eyes once more. Jeff looks patient, ready, hopeful in a way he hadnât before, so Eddie keeps talking.
âLike, Chrissy was flirting with you and he didnât even seem to care, and the yellow nail polish, and he came to Hellfire, Jeff. Steve Harrington came and watched us play Dungeons and Dragons.â
âI know,â Jeff replies, grinning now, pearly whites all on full display.Â
âAnd when he came to band practice, he was just like, watching me, and I sort of wanted to die, but in a good way, you know?â
Jeff decidedly does not look like he knows, but heâs still grinning across at Eddie like heâs proud of him. Eddieâs kind of proud, too, that heâs managing to say all of this aloud. It feels somehow new and a long time coming at the same time.Â
âOkay, you can ask him out,â Jeff says, turning forward in his seat and buckling his seatbelt once more.Â
Eddie laughs. âOh, because I needed your blessing?â
âYeah,â Jeff replies, grinning as he turns back to Eddie, looking him up and down like heâs a slab of meat Jeffâs checking for its quality. âMaybe wait until youâre healed up, though. You look like one of those cardboard box kittens that I keep seeing on the news.â
âShut up!â Eddie squawks, but heâs smiling, helplessly, hopefully.
Eddie Munson with a chance at love, who wouldâve thought?

Updated scam alert
So, as some of you guys know, I've received an ask from a known scammer a few weeks ago. Since I found their main post reblogged by 300 or so people, thinking they were helping a palestinian diabetic lady, I made a pinned post (this one) and warned everyone.
At some point this week, that account has been banned (or deleted), to my great dismay (the best vaccine against this kind of thing is letting victims know, since these scammers will just make new accounts); however, I found out that one of the names used in one of the many of his PayPal accounts has also been used in (as of today, 11/23) gladysconnoisseurpost thanks to this other post!
I already added that new piece of info in my old pinned (the one linked above in pink), and just today I received this ask on anon - worded very similarly to this other one that I got (off anon!) immediately after I called him out the first time.
So, in short: it's clear it's the same person again, there are sources to prove my point in the first link, there's one more here (el-shab-hussein saying it's a scam), thus I'm resuming my little hobby here.
IF YOU'VE BEEN MENTIONED IN THE REPLIES HERE:
-read the post in the first link. I'm basically doing the same thing, just with another post since it's about a different account and it could cause confusion
-I'd like you all to either delete your reblog of this scammer's post or edit it to include a warning to your followers
-if you're having a hard time tracking your reblog down (some date back to August), let me know and I'll help
-some of you reblogged it more than once, try to get them all (I tried to take note of those who did, if you have any doubts let me know)
-I did recognize some of your names from the last time - I'm sure you're all more knowledgeable now, it's just that it's the same scammer that contacted you multiple times, and I found an older instance. It's unlikely you falled for it once more after I warned you, so no worries. Still! Keeping up your reblog with no warning helps making it look more legitimate, so if you would kindly do me a favour and delete/edit this one too đ
-usual disclaimer that I transcribed all urls manually and I may have gotten something wrong. Hmu if you think I made a mistake, so I can contact the right person (or prove that it was in fact you)
-and again, no worries. You're all doing a good thing, you're not at fault for this piece of shit taking advantage of your good heart. Just be more wary next time :*
-I'm still gonna check for name changes, both on Tumblr and Paypal. Most recent on top
Oh, and let's not forget my List of Actually Verified Palestinian Fundraisers Who Contacted Me. Gotta uplift their voices too

âWhat if we donât go back yet?â
It was a peculiar question that Lena asked, but a compelling one. She was currently lying with Kara, or rather *on* Kara, after the Kryptonian caught her once again. Kara had slipped under as she fell and cushioned the fall with her invulnerable body, and they currently lay in the wreckage of a sailboat along the docks, the ruined and smashed vessel bobbing gently in the ocean.
âWhat do you mean?â
âAlex and the crew can get the guy,â said Lena.
She was referring to the second-rate wannabe villain that had tossed Lena off the roof as a ploy to distract Supergirl and cover his escape. It had worked, of course, with Kara abandoning her manhunt to catch Lena. As she always did. That was apparently why he kidnapped her in the first place instead of, who knows, maybe robbing banks in a town without a superhero.
It didnât seem to matter much now. Kara was warm and had wrapped them both up in her cape, and Lenaâs head lay pillowed on her shoulder. Kara curled around her, breathing gently into the crown of her head.
âWhy wouldnât we go back?â
âIâm tired,â Lena murmured, giving the words more truth than she meant to. She was tired, so tired. She could sleep for a thousand years here, lying with Kara.
This always went the same way. Kara would bear her to safety like a knight in shining armor and set her down and then sheâd step back.
The contact would end.
Itâs not like they never touched- they hugged and kissed each other on the cheek even, and Lena secretly treasured that, but it wasnât enough. It was different when Kara rescued her.
If physical touch was Karaâs love language, the way she held Lena after a rescue was a kind of Freudian slip. These embraces were more, just more in a profound, indescribable way.
She was always so tender, after. She would sweep the hair from Lenaâs eyes and just touch her for the sake of it, running the pad of her thumb along Lenaâs jawline or hugging her extra tight, extra close, fearful and yet utterly fearless.
Much as she was holding Lena now.
âI know,â Kara whispered.
She did know. If there was anyone truly in tune with her needs, it was Kara. Kara cared, so fully, so deeply, so recklessly that Lena could barely understand it, and scarcely believe it.
âI want to stay here with you.â
Kara tensed slightly, throat bobbing as she swallows and her breath caught.
âWhat I want more than anything is just time to be us,â Lena said, very softly. âYou and me. No company, no DEO, no adventures, no crises. I could just lay with you here forever.â
Kara was quiet, gently working her fingers through Lenaâs hair.
âIâve thought about things like that.â
âWhat sort of things?â
She was quiet for too long a beat, then said, âjust us being us, alone. No game night, no movie night, no brunch, no Noonanâs, just this. Just you and me and⊠and relaxing.â
âCuddling, you mean.â
Kara shifted herself, gave Lena a little squeeze.
âI donât want to go either. I donât want to let go of you.â
Lena opened her eyes and looked at Kara, at her golden hair fanned out around her head and her questioning blue eyes.
âSo donât.â
Gently, carefully, Lena freed an arm and rested a palm against Karaâs cheek. Her skin was always so warm, so lusciously soft. Kara was watching her intently, eyes searching.
âI think itâs customary, after the brave her saves the girl, that the hero gets a kiss.â
Kara tensed, clearly nervous. It was the most adorable thing Lena had ever seen.
She kissed her.
Kara was stone still at first, barely responding, then something seemed to awaken in her and she kissed Lena back, intensely. Lena was a little shocked at the sudden way Kara almost seemed to lunge into her, how her hands suddenly moved and she took Lena by the hips.
It was amazing. Her heart fluttered and her head was swinging and she felt a cold shock-
âKara! The boat is sinking!â
With the most annoyed sigh, Kara stood and lifted Lena into a bridal carry. Water was gurgling up around them.
âAlex is going to kill me,â said Kara.
âAlex can wait,â said Lena. âTake me home.â

Rock of Eternity Getting Offerings because they deserve it
I like to think that whenever thereâs a magical artifact that needs containment, Billy just⊠takes it. Here is how it started.
Billy, after defeating an evil wizard: so⊠what do I do with the Staff???
Solomon: it cannot be kept in the world of man, itâs far to dangerous. You must destr-
Achilles: NEW LAMP
Hemrmes: YESSSSSSSS
Hercules: WAR TROPHY
Solomon: that is highly irresponsible, we cannot keep highly volatile objects for âthe aestheticâ
Zeus: the burning violon
Solomon:
Solomon: well some decor never hurt anyone.
*and*

Marvel, yoinks it and yeets it in a portal: done
Everyone present: w h a t
*or*
Amanda Waller: -thus the proof we need to detain you for breaking into secure government location and theft of a classified artifact
Marvel: *points to the screen* thatâs not me
Waller: thatâs litterally you in a French beret and a fake mustach
Marvel: I donât know who that is, but they do look dashingly handsome. And look like a Gustavo. Probably a French mime who failed mime class and left on a journey of self discovery.
Waller: you canât be serious
Captain Atom, fuck the government rn: I donât know, Cap doesnât have a mustach
Batman: the mime theory seems like a pretty sold theory to me
Several people (heroes, civilians, villains and all in between) telling Cap was with them as the time at the crime, each of them being vastly different.
Waller: this mf secretly a mass manipulator???
*or*
Cap, fighting in a museum:
HermĂšs: Ooh I know this pendant. Super magical, super cool.
Cap, on instinct, puts in pocket dimension to put it on the Rock:
Flash: ⊠did I witness a theft????
Wether the pendant was actually magic or just a shiny jewel Hermes wanted is up for interpretation.
Anyways thatâs how whenever he finds magical artefacts or books or whatnot, he just puts them in the Rock of Eternity. Itâs a logical solution, as it serves as a place to safeguard and examine, and maybe purify some objects to use later.
The Wizard is so done. It started off as âdangerous artefacts to be relocated when a suitable place is foundâ but then it became the go to storage and all the stuff just stays.
ThĂ© Rock in the other hand, loves it. Getting more and more offerings by their new champion really shows how loved they are. Itâs has been way too long since they got any offerings and new additions, so the newest champion giving them plenty of nourishment / stimulation is as if they are being spoiled.
Billy, brings an ancient cursed crown:
Wizard: another one???
Rock, already pushing Wizard aside: FOR ME!!!! TYTYTYYTY OH MY ME YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK SO CUTE WOTH THIS HOLD ONE LET ME JUST REPLACE THE MAGOC WOTH MINE
Five hours later Billy is chilling in one of the thrones with his new crown and one of his magic cape to match.
In conclusion, Billy is like a cat bringing a mouse in the house, except the mouse is actually a rubix cube that sometimes turns into sushi.
Yes Billy did bring a magic rubix cube that makes sushi when completed. Now I kinda want sushi ngl

Oh boi, I've been wanting to write Elliott x Farmer for a while so here we go:
Based off one of the comments of the original post
"I would suggest we make time for a little 'rendezvous' in my old cabin... But I'm afraid it's become rather... Musty... In my absence" Elliott says. I'd like to think he's being playful but I can't really tell. His words are mischievous but his eyes seem melancholic. I mean, well, he writes angsty stuff all the time, why would this be any different, he loves feeling melancholic. He's an overemotional drama queen, and that's pretty much why I fell for him in the first place. But something's off today.
I look at him, up and down. Wouldn't be the first time we escape a social gathering and make time for ourselves. I work relentlessly. He writes relentlessly. Our kids mess around the house relentlessly, too.
"Why not?" I suggest. "It's not like anyone's paying attention."
His green eyes widen, his face blushes for just an instant and I recognize his look. He bites his lower lip, grabs my arm and pulls me into the cabin so quickly I can't even react. As soon as I step into the cabin I understand what he meant by "musty". The air feels heavy, humid, and the wood is starting to decay. His old piano is still there; withering away.
He locks the door behind us and I can already feel his heavy breath. I can't help but find it cute. It's been three years and he still gets all hot and bothered. He's turning his back on me, his hand still on the door knob.
"Elliott? Are you all right?" I ask.
"I have really neglected this place, haven't I..." He murmurs. "It's- it's not romantic at all, I-..."
"Love, it's okay, I don't mind" I try to reassure him, rubbing his back. Something's wrong but I'm not can't put my finger on it. "It's been quite some time since the last time you came here, huh."
Elliott laughs nervously and forces himself to let go of the door knob. He turns around and looks at his cabin, his eyes scanning every corner.
"I really used to live like this, didn't I?"
"I didn't know this place brought you bad memories", I say, my voice soft, almost a whisper. I know we don't talk much; my words are usually rather scarce, I can't remember the last time we sat and spoke to each other. I'd rather listen, but Elliott doesn't speak too much, either.
He runs a hand through his copper hair.
"Once upon a time, there lived a man by the sea..." Elliott speaks quietly, absently. "He dreamed of fame and greatness; he dreamed of people remembering his name. However, that day never came, and his little cabin by the sea, he let it rot away."
I frown, trying to make a meaning off of this.
"My father bought this cabin a long time ago, we used to have our vacation here, when I was a kid. With time I guess we all forgot about it, then I remembered it when he kicked me out."
My eyes widen.
"He... Kicked you out? Why am I learning about this just now?!"
"Well, he wasn't happy when I said I wasn't pursuing a career in the family business." Elliott runs his hand through the dusty desk, then fidgets around with an old inkwell. The ink has been dry for a very long time. "I didn't have much money. I was running out when I met you."
"That part, I remember, yeah", I reply.
"It's not that this cabin holds bad memories, as you said. It just a reminder of almost everything that hasn't worked out in my life. All the scrapped manuscripts. All the arguing with my father. All the times I stayed up late, trying to come up with the perfect plot, the perfect words, the perfect... Everything" he closes his eyes and sighs. I look at him and take his hand in mine. I love it: it's so soft. "And then, one day, you showed up and took care of that old farm nobody cared about. And you took care of me..."
He leans his head over mine. His hair tickles my nose, and it smells like pomegranate shampoo.
"I can take care of this place, too" I suggest, trying to cheer him up. "Just like I did with the farm."
"No, no. This place is mine to bear, not yours. However I would like to take your example and make this old place something worth the effort. Something out kids will be happy inheriting."
I look up at him and smile.
"Yeah? You wanna do that?"
Elliott smiles and nods. I feel his hand make its way through my eternally sore back to my waist. I rest my hand on his, fidgeting with his wedding ring.
"It's not that musty", I tease, after a very long silence. "The bed's still in good shape."
When you're just trying to make some goddamn soup but Elliott wants to have sex in his mouldy ass cabin.

Shelter in the Storm
Pairing: Rafe Cameron x reader
Summarize: Rafe is acting weird during the storm and youâre about to find out why
Warning(s): mention of gun, protective Rafe.
A/N: feedback always make me happier, love yâall â also tysm for all the love in my fics
The storm outside was relentless, sheets of rain hammering against the windows. Thunder rumbled in the distance, a low growl that felt too close, too ominous. Rafe stood by the window, his silhouette sharp against the faint glow of the firelight. His jaw was tense, his hands flexing open and shut at his sides.
You had packed a bag and driven to Rafe's earlier today when you received a warning in your phone about the upcoming storm, not wanting to risk staying at yours to see the damage - your small house in the Cut had barely survived in the last one and neither you nor Rafe wanted to risk it. Not when his place was as much as yours as his.
You watched him from the couch, bundled up in an oversized sweater, your book abandoned beside you. He hadnât spoken much since the phone call earlier, but his restlessness told you everything. Something was wrong.
âRafe.â you said softly, pulling his attention away from the storm.
He turned, his blue eyes darker than usual, stormier. He didnât respond, just studied you for a moment like he was trying to memorize every detail. It wasnât unusual for him to brood, but tonight, something felt different. He never got that weird over business that went wrong.
âYouâve been pacing for twenty minutes, quiet ever since I've arrived. Whatâs going on, baby?â you asked, your voice laced with concern.
Rafe exhaled sharply, dragging a hand through his hair. âItâs nothing you need to worry about.â
You frowned, sitting up straighter. âDonât do that. Donât shut me out.â
âItâs not shutting you out, alright? â he snapped, then immediately softened his tone as he noticed you flinch, his chest tightening with guilty. âItâs keeping you safe.â
âFrom what?â
His eyes flicked away, unable to hold your gaze. His silence was answer enough.
âRafeâŠâ You stood, crossing the room to stand in front of him. Your hand rested lightly on his clothed chest. âWhat arenât you telling me?â
He hesitated, torn between wanting to protect you and needing to tell someone. He didn't like to keep things from you. Finally, he sighed. âYou remember Morroco?â
Your brow furrowed. âThe trip? Of course.â
He had called you to meet him by the beach, kissing you goodbye as he said he had an important last meeting to close a massive deal and that it'd probably take him a few weeks before he was back.
âIt wasn't just a trip.â he said bitterly. âItâs a mess. A deal went sideways, I went after Groff to get my money back and then... Then there was this blue crown treasure hunt with those... pogues. We crossed some people." His jaw clenched. âNow theyâre coming for me.â
Your blood ran cold as you tried to process everything. Not even paying a big attention to the fact that Rafe had lied to you. âThey?â
âMercenariesâ he admitted, the word dripping with disdain. âHired guns who donât care about anything but the paycheck and that fucking crown that slipped away from our fingers."
Fear pricked at the edges of your mind, you could hear your heartbeats in your ears. Mercenaries. âAnd you think theyâll come here, after you?â
âI donât know,â he admitted, his voice low. âBut Iâm not taking any chances.â
You stepped closer, your hands gripping his arms. âRafe, we should call someone - Shoupe, the poliââ
âNo,â he interrupted sharply. âThe cops wonât do anything. Iâll handle it, okay? I can take care of my own shit."
âYou canât handle this alone, Rafe. We're talking about mercenaries and not a cougar whose money went sideways in a deal!â you argued, your voice rising slightly.
âIâm not letting you get involved,â he said firmly, his hands resting on your shoulders. His touch was warm, grounding.
âIâm already involved,â you countered, your voice softening. âI care about you, Rafe. That means Iâm in this with you, whether you like it or not.â
His expression cracked, the tough exterior slipping to reveal the vulnerability underneath. âYou donât get it,â he whispered, his hands sliding down your arms. âYouâre the only thing Iâve got thatâs good. If something happens to you because of meââ He broke off, shaking his head.
âNothingâs going to happen to me,â you said, stepping even closer. Your hands rested on his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart beneath your palms. âYouâre here. Youâll keep me safe.â
He stared at you, his breath hitching slightly. âYou have too much faith in me,â he murmured, almost to himself.
âI have the right amount,â you whispered back.
For a moment, the tension hung heavy between you, the storm outside roaring as if reflecting the chaos inside him. Then, before you could say anything else, Rafeâs hands moved to cup your face, his thumbs brushing your cheeks.
âYouâre so damn stubborn,â he muttered, a small, almost pained smile tugging at his lips.
You opened your mouth to respond, but the words were swallowed as his lips met yours. The kiss was desperate, almost frantic, like he needed to remind himself you were here, with him, safe. His hands slid into your hair, holding you to him as if letting go wasnât an option.
Your hands fisted in the fabric of his shirt, pulling him closer. The warmth of his body, the way he kissed you â it all felt like a promise, and a plea rolled into one.
When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, his breathing heavy. âIâm not letting them get near you,â he vowed, his voice raw.
âThey wonât,â you assured him, nodding as your hands smoothed over his chest.
He kissed you again, slower this time, his hands skimming down your sides. When he pulled you against him, his arms wrapping around your waist, you felt the full weight of his fear and his determination.
âI should send you away,â he muttered against your hair, his lips brushing your temple. âSomewhere safe. Away from Outer Banks."
You leaned back, meeting his gaze. âNo. Iâm staying right here. With you.â
Rafe stared at you, his jaw tightening. âYouâre insane.â
âMaybe,â you said with a small smile, not wanting him to know how terrified you actually were. âBut so are you. Weâre a good match, remember?"
Despite himself, he chuckled, his grip on you tightening. âYouâre going to drive me crazy.â
âYou wouldnât have it any other way,â you teased.
He didnât answer; he just pressed another kiss on your forehead before pulling you into his chest. His hand smoothed over your back, lingering there as if the simple act could protect you from the world.
After the conversation, the weight of the threat hanging over him, Rafe couldnât let you out of his sight. He needed to feel you close, needed to know you were safe in a way that words couldnât assure him - and it didn't help that you decided to organize everything that was out of place, moving between the rooms without saying anything. He knew you were stressed. You always clean whenever anxiety hits you.
âCâmon,â he murmured, his voice low as his arms slid around your waist.
You blinked up at him, confused. âWhat are you doing?â
âTaking you to bed,â he said simply, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Your cheeks flushed. âI can walk, Rafe.â
âNot tonight,â he said, shaking his head. âLet me do this.â
Before you could protest, Rafe bent down and swept you into his arms as if you weighed nothing. You let out a soft yelp of surprise, your arms instinctively looping around his neck.
âRafeââ
âShh,â he murmured, glancing down at you with a small, almost teasing smirk. âJust let me take care of you for once, okay?â
You pressed your lips together, your cheeks warming at the way he held you so effortlessly, his grip steady and secure. His heartbeat was steady beneath your ear, a calming rhythm that contrasted with the chaos of the storm outside.
The walk to the bedroom was silent, save for the sound of the rain pounding against the roof. Rafe nudged the door open with his foot, carrying you inside. The room was dark except for the faint glow of a lamp on the nightstand, casting warm light over the space.
He set you down gently on the bed, his hands lingering on your hips for a moment before he stepped back. You watched as he moved around the room, double-checking the locks on the windows and door. His movements were methodical, his expression tense.
âRafe,â you said softly, sitting up. âYou donât have to do all this.â
He glanced at you over his shoulder, his lips pressing into a thin line. âYes, I do.â
You wanted to argue, but something in his tone stopped you. He was carrying more than just worry â it was guilt, fear, and the overwhelming need to protect you. It was his way of tricking himself into believing he had some control over the whole situation.
Once he was satisfied, Rafe returned to the bed. You noticed the subtle way he opened the drawer of his bedside table, checking the loaded gun inside.
Your stomach tightened. âDo you really think itâll come to that?â
His gaze flicked to you, softening slightly. âItâs just a precaution,â he said, his voice steady.
You nodded, though the thought of him having to use it sent a shiver down your spine.
âCome here,â he said, holding out a hand.
You crawled toward him, settling into his arms as he pulled you close. His body was warm, solid, and the way his arms wrapped around you made you feel like nothing in the world could touch you.
âGet some sleep,â he murmured, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
âWhat about you?â you asked, your voice muffled against his chest.
âIâll sleep,â he promised. âJust need to make sure youâre out first.â
You frowned but didnât push further. His hand smoothed over your back in slow, soothing strokes, lulling you into a sense of security.
Eventually, your breathing evened out, and Rafe let out a breath he hadnât realized he was holding.
He stayed awake, his eyes scanning the room, his ears attuned to every sound beyond the rain. Every creak of the house set his muscles on edge, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios. But then heâd look down at youâyour peaceful face, your fingers loosely curled against his chest â and the storm inside him would quiet, even if just for a moment.
Carefully, so as not to wake you, Rafe reached out and brushed a strand of hair from your face. His fingers lingered, tracing the curve of your cheek.
âYou donât even know how much you mean to me,â he whispered, his voice so soft it was nearly drowned out by the rain.
His hand moved to your shoulder, then down your arm, his touch light, almost reverent. He wanted to memorize every detailâthe way your skin felt against his, the rise and fall of your breathing, the warmth you radiated.
For a long time, he just watched you, his thumb idly brushing against your arm.
No one would hurt you. Not the mercenaries, not anyone. Heâd burn the world down before he let anyone take you from him.
When his exhaustion finally began to creep in, Rafe pressed a kiss to the top of your head, his lips lingering there for a moment.
âIâll keep you safe,â he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. âI swear. Even if it's the last thing I do.â
With one hand resting on the gun in the drawer and the other wrapped protectively around you, Rafe finally allowed his eyes to close, the storm outside fading into the background.
As long as you were in his arms, nothing else mattered.

(This is all a joke)
I love the Dick is pushing thirty and all the Batkids tease him about it and heâs dramatic. But whatâs infinitely funnier is in the Robin story (the one illustrated by piccolo) Dick looks young enough to go undercover as a student in highschool.
Which means that Dick with a little bit of effort can pass for 17-19
Which means Jason âdrawn like a 40 year old whose doing 20 to life in prison built like a brick shithouseâ Todd
Definitely looks older at 23 than Dick does at 27
And so the boys get their licks in and Dick does his howls moving castle let me lie on a bed dramatically like an 18th century women fainting
Calls Kori like âbabe be honest am I too old for you, do I need Botox? HAVE YOU SEEN A GRAY HAIR PLEASEâ on speaker in front of the Batkids because honestly itâs a funny joke.
And then they go to a bar
And Dick gets ID checked
At 27
Heâs been a hero for 19 years
He just got fucking ID checked at the bar
And then when they get into the bar
Jason gets called sir
And he gets called Dude
Because he looks barley legal apparently
And thatâs even fucking worse
How is it everyone can laugh at him for being old and HE DOESNT EVEN GET OLD MAN PERKS.
HE HAS OLD MAN BONES, THEY SOUND LIKE HE NEEDS WD-40 (what do you mean that because of the 23 years of intense acrobatics and the 19 years of punching People, and carpel tunnel inducing precision shut up)
And Jason finds it even funnier until dick desperately asks how old the barkeep thinks he is and the dude goes like âidk 21? Barelyâ
And Jay laughs until the dude went âyeah I mean you look like a kid whose uncle is taking him here for his first drinkâ
And Jason cuts the laugh mid HA and goes âexcuse me?â
Anyway now Dick if finding it funny again
It stops being funny all together when heâs the only one to get IDâd on Tims 21st birthday
Because Tim is 4â0 (itâs only a 3 INCH HEIGHT DIFFERENCE dICK)
And has baby fat on his cheeks at 21 and he can still pitch his voice into an androgynous or fem voice.
(Tim paid the bar keep to do this, heâs stirring shit)
#dick grayson#tim drake#Jason Todd#batfam#entirely fanon#Tim causes chaos for fun#why is Jason drawn like a man who dug his way out of prison with a spoon 60% of the time#and like a man experience twink death in real time the other 40%
