but tbh, atsushis been (not so) slowly fading into the background, ever since. chapter 88 and this has been more clearer than ever in the anime

and like!! they set up so many interesting things about him(the book, dead apple) and its... never adressed again??? and also just atsushi himself!!! his super cool character development!!!

this doesnt just extent to atsushi, it also extends to pretty much all of the ada characters except dazai (kenji?kyouka??yosano???RANPO????) but its a lot clearer because atsushis you know... the protagonist.

dazais a very interesting character but... im so tired of him

(sorry for the rant and also sorry if this doesnt make much sense!! english isnt my native language)

#Like... I'm once again saying at this point Atsushi doesn't feel much of the protagonist as much as a narrator / pov?#Idk. I used to think perhaps we were overdoing it by thinking Atsushi was given too little importance #It being deceived perception given by the inferiority complex that effects the ss/kk fanbase– me included #Then I open Tumblr for the first time again today and I'm hit with a poll that was like “which bsd man would be the best to date”#and Atsushi - the‚ and I can't stretch it enough‚ literal protagonist of the manga -#wasn't anywhere to be found on the list (I went though it ten times in disbelief)#And finally I realized. We're not making this up actually he's given so little importance people forget to list him on polls #I'm rambling sorry #atsushi nakajima #bsd #people asks me stuff
