‭Psalm 8:3-5 (AMP‬). [3] “When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have established, [4] What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? [5] Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.”
‭Isaiah 43:1 (ERV‬). [1] “Jacob, the Lord created you. Israel, he made you, and now he says, “Don’t be afraid. I saved you. I named you. You are mine.”

God Knows Us—and Loves Us Anyway
Introduction It’s one thing to feel loved when we’re at our best—when we’re kind, selfless, and walking closely with God. But what about the times when we’re not at our best? When we’re consumed by sin, brokenness, or despair? Can we really believe that God knows everything about us and still loves us? The answer, beautifully and overwhelmingly, is yes. Thanks be to God. Jesus reminds us in…

Calling You
But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 God is constantly calling on you. He’s calling you higher, to live more honorably within His strength. Or He’s calling you to come home. To lay it all down. To finally submit, allowing Him to direct your steps. When He…

"YES, GOD CAN STILL USE YOU!"
Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above – spiritually transformed, renewed, READY TO BE USED] for good words, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” (AMP) When David first arrived at…

Jesus is Coming
Some years ago I was walking around the reception tables after a wedding I had performed. An older woman approached me with a question. Almost everyone present at this particular wedding had come from a high church liturgical tradition. In their tradition, they had sometimes weekly, sometimes monthly recited either the Apostle’s Creed or the Athanasian Creed. But apparently, she hadn’t been…

Revelation 21: Template of Eternity
Many see John’s vision as a literal dissolving away of creation as we now know it and the creation of a new universe that is yet to be. #Revelation21 #AlphaandOmega #NewHeavens #NewEarth
John begins his oracle with the same sweeping away of creation he announced previously. Compare the two entries: “Then I saw a throne, immense, white, and the one sitting upon it, from before the face of him flew the earth and the sky, and a place not discovered for them.” “… Then I saw a fresh new sky and a fresh new earth: for the first sky and the first earth went away, and the sea is no…

The Providence of God (1 Sam 18)
Sermon Discussion Questions: What stood out to you the most? Why is Jonathan, second only to David, the hero of 1 Samuel? How can grow to be more like him? How is our ego like an elbow? Saul’s story is an extreme example of what happens when you are controlled by the approval of others. Do you see any strains of this temptation in your own life?  What unique resources does Christianity offer…

When recognizing a mistake, don't you instinctively strive for improvement? Similarly, when life knocks someone down, don't they inherently seek to rise stronger than before?
Our inner light is the greatest source of guidance. Is it not fitting that celebrities are called stars, shining bright? When we close our eyes, darkness fades, revealing our own radiant potential. Didn't the dragon's tail sweep away a third of the stars and hurled them to earth, reminding us God's Word is our eternal illumination?

“But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine!” —Isaiah 43:1 (AMP)
“I have revealed you to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything I have is a gift from you, for I have passed on to them the message you gave me. They accepted it and know that I came from you, and they believe you sent me. “My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are.” —John 17:6‭-‬11 (NLT)
Amen! Hallelujah! 🙌

Today’s sermon hit just right on point.
Spiritual warfare happens in our minds. And we cannot have a debate with the devil. Adam and Eve talked with the snake and they lost. Why? Because satan is the king of lies. We cannot defend ourselves with “well… in my opinion…” no. He is always coming up with something 90% true 10% false. So it would be so easy for us to fall for it.
Satan tried to tempt Jesus THREE TIMES in the desert even when he knew He was GOD! He knew he had nothing to do with God, he knew he would lose! Yet he tried! What makes you think you will not be tempted in the end???
The only way we can win against satan is with scripture! Just like Jesus did in the desert, when Satan tempted him He said “WRITTEN IS”. The lies can only be won with truth.
And how can we do that? DEVOURING the Scripture! I encourage you to devour the Word until it becomes your thinking.
Ex. If the enemy tells you you don’t matter, answer “"But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.’" Isaiah 43:1”
Do not underestimate the power of the mind. We can look up at heaven and fill our thoughts with it, or let hell make us fall just as the enemy wants.
Stay strong!
