2052.
little fragments of God scattered all over the park, by the river like so much litter, you know to be gathered and tossed in the trash
which is rather telling when you think about it

Daily Doodles- Day 65- 10/06/24
KJV Psalm 91 : 4
'He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler'
This is a psalm for protection that I keep seeing mentioned and I've decided to memorise it.
I stopped doing it, so I need to get back into it, but what I do is read the psalm out loud every morning, because the same way we memorise songs by hearing them over and over is the same way we can memorise The Word.
The tag for this is #agdoodles

365 Promises of God
Day 294 – To Live is Christ, to Die is Gain
For to me, to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain. (Phl 1:21 NKJV)
Read: Philippians 1:12-24
Today’s promise is actually one of the most comforting and challenging verses in the Bible. In order to unpack it, I’m going to examine both sides of that coin, if you will. For a nominal Christian, the idea that death is a positive seems like a laughable idea. Our bodies are designed to struggle for the next breath, to avoid pain. Our adrenaline rushes in when we are in danger, and we are persuaded by our own flesh to fight, or take flight.
Tumblr media
Yet it’s clear that the gospel message comforts us with the knowledge that death is no longer an enemy. It will undoubtedly hurt, but it ushers us into the presence of the one we hold most dear. I’m not suggesting any Christian hurry that transition along, but we no longer need fear it like we did before. Think of all we are going to gain. So, we should not fear, even if those who oppose the gospel threaten us.
On the flipside of this, if we live, we have an opportunity to share Christ with others. To BE Christ to others. To DEMONSTRATE Christ’s love to others. So, to live is a chance to do good, and to persuade others to follow the Savior. What joy, to be granted the chance to share this light with a lost and dying world?
Paul comforted the Philippians, who had heard of all the terrible things that had happened to him. They may have been afraid for him. They might have been concerned for themselves. But he wanted them to know that all these things had happened for the furtherance of the gospel, and to encourage THEM in the faith, and even if he died, it would bring him into the presence of Jesus.
So then, to live, is Christ, in US. And to die, is eternal gain. This is an incredible comfort, but it’s a perspective that goes against our own flesh. Don’t be dismayed if this attitude isn’t always in your heart. If you’re scared to share the gospel, and afraid of dying. It doesn’t make you a non-Christian. It doesn’t even make you a BAD Christian. It just means you are not holding firm to this promise. Because when you really wrap your mind around it, everything else dwindles into mist.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for this promise, and challenge, today. Help me to walk in the Spirit, and not in fear, today. Amen

19th day of the 365 Days Of Character Development writing game!  Basically how it works is that each day, we use (with permission, of course) a question from my friend's book on character development to get our creative juices flowing!  If you like this game, I recommend buying the book to support an independent creator!
Here's today's question:
Think of a quote that your character feels connected to. Why that quote? Who said it? How did they first hear it?
I'll be answering for the main characters of my game Romance The Backrooms.  I’d love to hear the answer to the prompt for your characters—reply, reblog, and/or make your own post (and give me the link, because I’d love to see it!).
Carla (the main character) is connected to the quote, “Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow,” which is a Swedish proverb.  Her grandmother used to say this quote, and passed it onto Carla.  It succinctly describes her anxious nature, and how much she tends to overthink things.
Kalcal is connected to a quote from Oscar Levant: “There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.”  He first heard this from a plague goblin he was bartering with, who used the quote to refer to Kalcal, and Kalcal happily embraces this.
Glarence is connected to the Friedrich Nietzsche “To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.”  He also likes this Frank Moore Colby quote: “I know of no more disagreeable situation than to be left feeling generally angry without anybody in particular to be angry at.”  He first heard those quotes from [REDACTED].
Uri is connected to a Bible verse in Ecclesiastes 7:1, that reads, “A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth.”  He can’t remember where he first heard the quote from.
Zenobos is connected to the quote, “[Friendship] has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.”  He first heard it from one of the humans who he met during his times in the backrooms, someone who helped him survive.
Adiel is connected to a quote from Johnny Depp: “Escapism is survival to me.”  He first heard it from one of the humans he met, and he has rephrased the quote in his mind to, “Escape is survival to me,” as in, escaping from the backrooms will help him survive.

Genesis 1:1-2:25, Matthew 1:1-2:12, Psalm 1:1-6, Proverbs 1:1-6
Today is the first day of January, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian, it is awesome to be here with you today, as we gather around a place that we will gather for the next 365 days around the Global Campfire, where we gather in a nice, peaceful, oasis each day, to allow the Scriptures to kind of wash into our lives, orient us to God, and give us the direction and clarity that we need. Sometimes that is the rescue that we need. Sometimes it is the word that we need. Sometimes it is the correction that we need, but it will always be what we need. So, it is great to be here with you today, as we embark on our 19th voyage around the sun, our 19th voyage through the Bible together. This begins year 19 of the Daily Audio Bible. So, that is exciting. It is exciting to be here with you, those of you who have been here all these years, those of you who’ve been here for maybe half of these years, those of you who have been here for a year and those of you who are brand-new today, welcome to the family. Over the next couple of months, as we can settle into the rhythm here, we will become that, a community, a family showing up for each other every day, loving one another, praying for one another and involving ourselves in each other's stories, as we find our story in the Bible. So, how this works, if this is brand-new for you, is that we will read a little bit of the Old Testament, a little bit of the New Testament. We’ll read from the Psalms and we’ll read from the Proverbs each day and we will make our way through the entire Bible, reading every book, every chapter, every verse as we move through and there's so much treasure for life out in front of us and we need to dive in. We need to set sail or whatever it is, we've all landed here. Here we are. So, let's begin.
Introduction to the Book of Genesis:
And obviously we have to begin every story at the beginning, and that's how the story begins in the book of Genesis, that we will begin in a minute. In the beginning and it's an important first step to us because it gives us the orientation about where we've come from and the context that we need to observe our lives and understand where it's going. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and that will launch us into this adventure. And we’ll travel through all the miles. We’re gonna meet so many fascinating people who will become friends of ours, our spiritual ancestors, their stories and their hearts will be revealed to us, and we’ll find ourselves in their stories. And since we’re about to begin, we need to orient ourselves to the territory that we encounter in the Old Testament. When we think about the book of Genesis, normally we think about the creation story. The irony is that Genesis covers more time than any other book in the Bible. So, there's the creation story and then about 2500 years pass within the pages of Genesis, which is more time than the rest of the Old Testament combined. So, as we begin Genesis, we have these first 11 chapters and we cover a couple thousand years and a couple thousand miles and then we’ll slow things down and we’ll meet specific generations of people and it's the family that we watch get shaped in the book of Genesis that influences the rest of the Bible and influences our world until today. And then also, Genesis is a part of a larger grouping of writings that encompass the first five books of the Bible. That's Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. And this grouping is called the Torah. And so, we are beginning with the Torah or the Pentateuch, right now as we begin Genesis chapters 1 and two today.
Commentary:
Okay, so, this is day one of 365 days. And we’re just getting going and so, we talked about the book of Genesis. We probably noticed that we started four books, today, Matthew, Psalms and Proverbs as well. And it would just be a really, really long thing to try to orient ourselves to everything we’re reading all at once. And so, tomorrow we'll talk about Matthew, just give ourselves little birds eye view of what reading in Matthew. And then we’ll do the Psalms and then we’ll do the Proverbs. And after a couple days here, we’ll be moved in and we’ll be kind of out into the deep and setting sail. And we’ll just get oriented to the community here and all that's going on over the next few days. But on this first day, as we read in the beginning, we see that God was careful and intentional with His creation, and that our experience as human beings have been fashioned after the image of God. And that the life source within us is from the breath of God Himself. So, according to the Scriptures, we’re being told that this just didn’t all just happen by chance, this happened with intentionality. Each of us are supposed to be here. We each bare the image of God, who is, is intertwined as we'll see from the Scriptures, so deeply intertwined with our story, that it’s deeper than cells and atoms. And also also, as we're reading today, we got this amazing, rare view that will not last all the way. Like tomorrow, it's all going to change. And so, today, on day one, we get this rare view of how things were supposed to be for us. How humans were supposed to be before the story got shifted, a perfect world, perfect people, created in God's image. So, if we just take a small step back and look around us, then we get this sobering sense that the story somehow shifted over the last several thousand years. And we will get to that over the next few days.
Prayer:
But Father, we thank You for Your word, we invite Your Holy Spirit into this year, into every day, every verse, everything that we do and say, we invite You to lead us into all truth. This is what we have come for, to surrender, to orient ourselves to You, to get clarity and to fall in love with You, as You have loved us. So, come Holy Spirit into this year, into this community. Hover over us, lead us in the way that we should go. We ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Announcements:
Alright, so dailyaudiobible.com is the website, that's where you can find out what is going on around here. The Daily Audio Bible app is also available, and you can download that from whatever app store works with your device, just search for Daily Audio Bible, put that on your phone and you can kind of track your progress. All kinds of things are in the app, so check that out and stay connected.
There are places to get connected when you go to the website or the app. One of those is the Community Section, and I'll talk about that today. The Community Section is definitely where you can get connected on social media, but it is also the place where a very unique thing to this community lives and it's called the Prayer Wall. And that is always there and it is always on and always available. So, as we begin our journey through the year, we always have a place to reach, we’re not alone. And if the bottom falls out, we can go and share our story, and our brothers and sisters will come around us and encourage and pray for us. And if we are having a mountaintop experience and we remember what the deep valleys feel like, we can go pray for those who are in the valleys, holding each other up, building each other up, loving each other. As we literally stay on the same page as a community, because we’re going through the Bible, and that's what we’re here to do and that's pretty much what we do. And so, get connected, stay connected in any way that you can, in any way that you will.
If you want to partner with the Daily Audio Bible, you can do that at dailyaudiobible.com. There is a link on the homepage. If you’re using the app, you can press the Give button in the upper right-hand corner, and thank you, profoundly for your partnership. We wouldn't be here if we weren't in this together. So, thank you for that.
And let’s just take a deep breath, here we are. We have just left the dock like, we can still see the land if we go out and look. We’ll be out in the deep soon enough, where we won't see land for a long time, but we’re just leaving on this journey. And it's gonna be, it's going to be amazing because the Scriptures are alive, they tell us they’re alive and sharper than any two-edged sword, and that is true, they will become a mirror. They will force us to face ourselves and that is what we need, to face ourselves. We can go through the Scriptures and look at what everybody else should be doing, until we realize oh, this is about me. I should be making these changes. So, the Bible will challenge us to grow and so, I give the challenge on the 1st of January, go look in the mirror, give a good long look. Really look at yourself until maybe you want to look away. Just see where you are today, because this is where you are today. But if every day is immersed in the Scriptures, if you take that one-year journey every day, when we get to December 31st which was like yesterday. When we get there this year, you can look in the mirror again, and you will be looking at a different person. You will be shocked at how things have changed in the way that you view the world and your place in it. And so, I encourage you, buckle up. This is the adventure of a lifetime and I'm excited to be here. And it really doesn't matter where you are or where you are in life. You may think I'm here, like I’m around a bunch of spiritual people. You’re not. Some people have been believers and reading the Bible for their entire lives, and some of you have just stumbled here. You’re so hung over from last night, you can't believe what you've done. You can’t live with yourself as you go into the new year. So, you stumbled here looking for God for something, for someone, somewhere, for some kind of clarity. That’s great, you're right where you’re supposed to be. Welcome to the family. All of us are absolutely, completely broken and we've come here because these words show us that there is a path to wholeness, and it doesn't have to stay this way. And it doesn't have to be this way. And so, let's lock arms, let's lock hands, let's lock hearts, and let's do this together. We don't have to stay where we are. We can go forward from here, into a life that is beyond imaginable.

Who Was Enoch’s Mother?
Tumblr media
Enoch is one of the most intriguing figures in the Bible. Known as the great-great-grandfather of Noah, Enoch stands out for his extraordinary relationship with God. His story is brief but powerful, with only a few verses dedicated to his life in the Bible. He is remembered for being a man who “walked with God,” a phrase that signifies a deep and faithful relationship with the Creator. Enoch’s unusual departure from the earth—being “taken by God” without experiencing death—has fascinated believers for centuries.
However, one question often arises: Who was Enoch’s mother? While the Bible provides information about Enoch’s father, Jared, and his descendants, it gives no mention of his mother’s name or identity. The absence of details surrounding Enoch’s mother has led to much speculation, especially since Enoch’s life is pivotal in the biblical narrative. Understanding who Enoch’s mother was—or at least exploring the possible identities and roles of biblical mothers during that time—can provide deeper insights into the context of Enoch’s life and his place in God’s plan.
In this article, we will explore the biblical silence about Enoch’s mother, investigate possible traditions or theories regarding her identity, and consider the significance of motherhood in the Bible, especially in the early chapters of Genesis. By doing so, we aim to deepen our understanding of the environment in which Enoch grew up and how it may have influenced his faithfulness to God.
The Biblical Account of Enoch’s Life
The story of Enoch is primarily found in the book of Genesis, specifically in Genesis 5:21-24, which tells us that Enoch was the son of Jared and the father of Methuselah. The Bible provides only a few verses about his life, yet these verses are significant for several reasons:
“When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.” (Genesis 5:21-24)
From this passage, we learn that Enoch was one of the early patriarchs who lived before the great flood. He is notable for his righteousness and his close walk with God, which led to his unique fate: instead of dying, he was taken directly to God.
But despite the significance of Enoch’s life, there is no mention of his mother in this passage or elsewhere in the Bible. This omission has prompted many to ask who Enoch’s mother was and why she is not mentioned.
The Mystery of Enoch’s Mother
The fact that the Bible is silent about Enoch’s mother has led to a number of interpretations and theories. Some scholars believe that this silence is intentional, perhaps indicating that the focus of the biblical narrative is not on Enoch’s immediate family but on Enoch’s relationship with God and his faithfulness. In the genealogical lists in Genesis, the focus is often on the fathers and their sons, with little attention given to the mothers.
However, others suggest that the identity of Enoch’s mother may have been known to ancient readers or that she played a significant, though unspoken, role in shaping Enoch’s faith. To explore this question, we need to consider what we do know about Enoch’s family background and the role of mothers in the early biblical narrative.
1. Enoch’s Father: Jared
The Bible identifies Enoch’s father as Jared, who was the sixth generation from Adam. Jared lived a long life (he was 962 years old when he died) and had a son named Enoch when he was 162 years old (Genesis 5:18). Enoch’s lineage is part of the genealogy in Genesis 5, which records the descendants of Adam through his son Seth.
While the Bible gives us detailed information about Jared’s age and his descendants, it does not elaborate on Jared’s wife or Enoch’s mother. This lack of information suggests that, at least in this case, the mother’s identity was not considered central to the narrative. In ancient genealogies, the father’s name often took precedence in the records.
2. The Role of Mothers in Early Biblical Narratives
Though the Bible does not mention Enoch’s mother, it is important to consider the role of mothers in the broader context of early biblical stories. While patriarchs like Adam, Noah, Abraham, and Moses are prominently featured, the mothers of these key figures also played important roles, even if their stories were not always explicitly told.
For example:
Eve is known as the mother of all living (Genesis 3:20), and her actions had a profound impact on human history.
Sarah, the wife of Abraham, was promised by God to bear a son, Isaac, despite her old age, demonstrating God’s faithfulness to His promises.
Jochebed, the mother of Moses, played a pivotal role in saving her son from Pharaoh’s decree to kill Hebrew babies by hiding him in a basket on the Nile River.
While the Bible does not elaborate on every mother’s role, these examples demonstrate that mothers in the biblical narrative were often central figures in God’s plan, even if their names were not always recorded.
3. Jewish Tradition and Non-Canonical Texts
Jewish tradition and non-canonical texts offer some insight into the question of Enoch’s mother. While these sources are not part of the Bible, they often provide additional context and interpretations of biblical figures.
One such text is the Book of Enoch, an ancient Jewish writing that expands on the story of Enoch and his walk with God. This book, however, does not specifically identify Enoch’s mother. The Book of Enoch focuses more on his relationship with God and his role in the divine plan, rather than on his family background.
Some Jewish traditions suggest that Enoch’s mother may have been a woman of great faith, which would have influenced Enoch’s own righteous life. However, these traditions are not explicitly stated in the Bible and remain speculative.
4. The Silence on Enoch’s Mother and Its Significance
The fact that the Bible remains silent about Enoch’s mother could be seen as an indication that the focus is not on his lineage or family, but rather on Enoch’s personal walk with God. In the Genesis account, the emphasis is placed on Enoch’s righteousness and his unique relationship with God, which set him apart from the others in his generation. This suggests that the narrative wants to highlight the importance of individual faith and the possibility of a close relationship with God, regardless of one’s family background.
In some ways, the lack of detail about Enoch’s mother could even serve to underscore the theme of God’s sovereignty. Enoch’s life was defined not by his ancestry but by his personal walk with God. It was his faith and obedience that led to his being “taken by God,” not any special heritage or family connection.
The Significance of Enoch’s Life
Although the Bible does not tell us the name or identity of Enoch’s mother, it does highlight the profound impact of Enoch’s life. Enoch’s walk with God serves as a model for believers of all generations. His faithfulness is celebrated in Hebrews 11:5, where it says:
“By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.”
Enoch’s life demonstrates that God values a heart that seeks Him. His story emphasizes the importance of walking faithfully with God, regardless of one’s circumstances or family background. Whether or not we know the identity of Enoch’s mother, it is clear that Enoch’s relationship with God was central to his life and mission.
Conclusion
The question of who Enoch’s mother was remains unanswered in the biblical text. While the Bible does not provide her name or background, the story of Enoch is focused on his faithful walk with God. Enoch’s life and his unique departure from the earth highlight the importance of personal righteousness, faith, and obedience to God.
The silence about Enoch’s mother in the biblical record serves as a reminder that it is not our family or lineage that defines our relationship with God, but our own faith and devotion. Enoch’s example encourages us to seek a deeper walk with God, trusting that He sees our hearts and rewards those who faithfully seek Him.

Thursday, May 2 || FAITH ROOTED IN INTELLIGENCE
Romans 10:17 (KJV) «So, then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.»
It is only in Christianity where faith is entirely rooted in knowledge and wisdom. This is because as a Christian, faith is predicated upon the knowledge you obtain from the Word of God! Whilst the world continuously promotes words and phrases such as, “taking a leap of faith” or “blind faith,” these are statements you simply cannot allow yourself to utter as a Christian! Your faith in God should be entirely based on His Word. As it says in the verse above, faith comes by the Word of God you accumulate.
Have you ever noticed how people today accept the assistance of doctors, nurses, or anyone working in the health sector, despite never verifying their credentials? This is because the world has encouraged them to trust doctors, with phrases such as, “a doctor gives up his life to save yours,” becoming popular amongst many. These words build faith in you to believe your healing resides in the hospitals. Imagine that someone can comfortably put their life in the hands of a stranger simply because of the knowledge they have accumulated about them. As a Christian, learn to grow in the Word so you can have faith that everything you desire resides in God!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am an intelligent being! My faith is rooted in my knowledge of the Word of God! Amen.

365 Promises of God
Day 298 – Vengeance is Mine. I Will Repay
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but [rather] give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance [is] Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. (Rom 12:19 NKJV)
Read: Romans 12
In the movie, The Godfather II, Antonio Andolini refuses to pay tribute to Don Ciccio, and is murdered. His sons vow revenge, but one is murdered, and the other, Vito, barely gets away, because his mother holds Ciccio at knife point. They murder Vito’s mother and search the town for him, but the townspeople help Vito hide and escape. He changes his name to Cito Corleone to evade the mob. After 20 years, he returns to Sicily, where Don Ciccio is now an 80-year-old man. He has returned under the pretext of getting Don Ciccio’s ‘blessing’ for Vito to start up an olive oil company, but his real reason for being there is revenge.
Tumblr media
The two bodyguards who murdered his family, Mosca and Strollo are first to go. When Vito comes to Ciccio and kisses his mafia ring, Don Ciccio asks him who his father is. Vito delivers the most memorable line in the movie. “My father's name is Antonio Andolini. And this is for you”, immediately slicing him open.
He and his partner barely escape with their lives, but the scene is extremely satisfying to the general public. The old mafia boss had it coming to him, slaughtering that family without mercy. In fact, many people asked why he waited twenty years to exact revenge?
“Revenge is a dish best served cold.” It’s a maxim quoted by Khan in Star Trek III, The Wrath of Khan. It’s origins are fuzzy, but the idiom is at least 200 years old. It means that it’s best to wait, bide your time, until your victim does not expect it. Till they believe they’ve gotten away with what they did.
Public opinion polls are mixed on this subject, but the vast majority believe that nobody wants to wait for cold revenge. They want it hot and ready, as soon as an offense is known. Even if there’s no time to plan and plot. Less right now is better than perfect revenge 20 years from now.
But the Bible has a different idiom to share, dear Christian. It’s our verse for today. While we might want to exact revenge, it’s not God’s way to let us do this. It allows sin in the camp. Instead, God suggests we pray for them. Serve them. Give them food and drink. Because God isn’t blind, and he’ll take revenge, in due time, and his justice will be perfect.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to wait on you, for I know that you love me and will repay. Help me trust you more, today. Amen

THOUGHTS:
=======================
The birth of Jesus is a very incredible, so many actions were taken and shown in the bible stating his arrival and even how Mary found out she was going to carry Jesus and how the wise men were told too, all of this was done by angels , if you noticed in the verse the angels says do not be afraid this statemnet is used over 365 times in the bible which that alone should say something to us about fear ,God wants it out of our presence and he wants us to always know we dont have to fear no matter what because he is there , he’s there to always comfort us but never to harm us.
When he sent these angels to theses people he need them to know don’t be fearful, when people see angels they immediatly become fearful , but if you want to step into the ministry of angels that’s one thing you can not do is fear because when you fear their presence they won’t stay we must listen and trust they are never there to harm us but our topic today isn’t about ANGELS its about Jesus and how he came here .
Matthew , Mark and Luke  have a different way of explaining it, but one of the key ways they start off is with Mary , the mother must be mention because she was a virgin ,that was one of the unique things about mary,
•Isaiah 7:14  Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel.
•Luke 1:27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.
•Luke 1:34-35 And Mary asked the angel, “How will this be since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.
Yes, many scriptures display that Mary was a virgin. In this last verse, she says how can I ; I am a virgin, and the angel tells her The Holy Spirit will come upon you. The power of the highest will be upon you. You will have a child; all this was done with the Holy Spirit . She and Joseph haven't even been married or anything. A lot of people are in awe of how the Holy Spirit moved in this, but the Holy Spirit was there all alone; we can see that in many of the verses in the Old Testament, he plays a huge part in Jesus' life while he was here on earth, the thing is when Jesus died, he sent the Holy Spirit here to us to help us, he's wasn't just thought of the moment of his death no my friend the Holy Spirit has been here all along through many parts of the Bible.
When Jesus was born, it was one man that was afraid of his birth he was so afraid he had a bunch of kids killed because he thought, if I kill all theses kids that’s around his age, I can kill him, and he couldn’t take the crown but what he didn't know that God had that even worked out, we don’t have to fret when we have problems all we do is believe that God has already orchestrated a plan in our favor and all we must do is walk in it.
"Matthew 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men"
Herod thought he had outwitted the wise man and everyone else by killing every child in Bethlehem, when someone is doing evil towards God’s people and they think they can harm us , it won't work, because we are covered in the blood of Jesus. Herod didn't know who he was messing with; he couldn't because if he did, he wouldn't have tried to work against the plans of God.
When we wait on the lord through anything, he will always give us words of encouragement, or he will always let us know we are in the right direction; we sometimes can pray for those things, but when God's hand is over our life, all we have to do is sit and wait, and he will send people are way to let us know exactly what's happening.
•Luke 2:34 And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed 35 (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”
•Luke 2:38  And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.(ANNA)
These two people confirmed it, not that they needed it, but they confirmed who Jesus was, what he must endure for his mission, and why he was here. Many of us do know what our calling is, and sometimes of us don’t , but Jesus, at a young age, did; he knew who he was and what he was called to do, and he didn't even let his parents stand in the way. God didn't allow anything to block him.
***Today we need to see in this story of Jesus' life is that he was  spoken about long ago, and even his ministry here on earth people didn't get it , some people did get it, and Jesus still push forward ,this alone should speak to us that as long as we got confirmation from God thats all we need, we dont need man to confirm it just Him our father from above . ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

DCLM Daily Manna Devotional - Go Not Down Into Egypt
The Topic of Deeper Life Daily Manna Devotional for 11th January 2024 Is “ Go Not Down Into Egypt“
KEY VERSE: “And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of” (Genesis 26:2). TEXT: Genesis 26:1-5 (KJV) 1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 2 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: 3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; 4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
DAILY MANNA FOR TODAY
Egypt has a very amazing history. The Ancient Egyptians started a civilization that lasted for more than 3000 years. They laid the foundation of what we have today as modern civilization. They contributed significantly to the development of Medicine, Engineering, Astronomy and Mathematics. The division of day and night into 24 hours and use of clock started with them. They also formulated our 365 days calendar. The prosperity and great influence of Egypt must have been in place even in the time of Abraham. When famine broke out in the days of Abraham, he took refuge in Egypt. God also allowed Jacob to move his family to Egypt when there was acute global famine. In today’s text, we find Isaac in a similar circumstance – caught up in a severe famine while in the land of Canaan, but God instructed him not to go to Egypt. Egypt, with all its glamour and idolatrous culture, was a tough place for a gentle and godly-minded person like Isaac. And God, knowing his frame, did not allow him to go there. “Go not down into Egypt” has a deeper connotation and relevance to today’s Christians. Ancient Egypt, because of its ungodly influence and vain affluence, came to symbolize the evil worldly system. God said, “Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help…” (Isaiah 31:1). Going down to Egypt means backsliding and going back to bondage. Similarly, we are repeatedly warned not to love or conform to the world and the pride and fleshly lusts that characterise it. God’s instruction to Isaac not to go down into Egypt came with a promise of His presence and blessings. If you abide at the centre of God’s will, even if it means putting up with temporary adversity, you are assured of God’s presence and blessing beyond your imagination. As you travel through life, it is enough to place your trust in God and He will direct your steps through His word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Merry Christmas, Ms. Ellison
Dear Caroline:
This is the second Christmas since the events of November 2022 unravelled, and much has been happening since. The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year, and yet for ancient cultures, it was a harbinger of joy, as the warmth and light of the sun would no longer keep ebbing from that day onwards.
Pushing with the metaphor, you yourself were at a nadir 365 days ago, and I fear your Christmas celebrations might have been grim indeed. But times has passed, and things have changed somewhat, if not at the speed we'd wish when we are down. Trials are ended, sentencing will come in a few months, and we can hope for a gradual return to some semblance of normalcy from then on.
I know you are not a religious person since long ago - for that matter, neither am I, but that doesn't make us unaware of the importance of dates and rituals. The triumph of light against the darkness was a theme played in Secular Solstices you must have attended, and it is also the source of the most beautiful Bible verse for me, John 1:5. And feasting and celebrating with those who love and will always love you unconditionally can act as a balm for the soul. I like some aspects of Confucianism' sacralization of everyday life through ritual, as much for their aesthetic as for their emotionally supportive value.
People would be apt to describe your trajectory as that of a shooting star, first shining bright and then burning itself up in the atmosphere before hitting the ground. I'd say the star part is right: you're a shiny and bright human being, and one that makes the world a better place for the fact of your existence. This truth lies now in the darkness, but the darkness will not be able to extinguish it, but with time will be vindicated again.
In Joyce's The Dead, Michael Furey sings himself to death with The Lass of Aughrim in a rainy, winter night below Gretta's window. While less morbid, these words I write are an attempt at mimicking a like song, and of wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
