While minors (under 18) cannot open their own investment accounts without a guardian, there are several ways to get started on your investment journey early. In this blog, weâll walk you through the procedures for starting investments as a minor, focusing on how you can learn the ropes with guidance from a parent or guardian. Weâll also introduce the resources available at Index and Stock Trading Academy to help minors build a solid foundation in finance and investing.
Target Audience This blog is for minors under 18, as well as parents or guardians, who want to start investing early. Whether youâre a student curious about growing wealth or a parent looking to educate your child about finances, this guide offers actionable steps and educational resources.

In India, minors canât open a demat or trading account on their own. However, they can invest in stocks, mutual funds, or fixed deposits with the help of a parent or guardian. Steps to start investing as a minor: ⊠Open a custodial or joint account: A parent or guardian must open an account on behalf of the minor. The guardian manages the investments until the minor reaches 18. ⊠Choose the right investment options: Depending on risk tolerance, you can choose between stocks, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles. ⊠Learn the basics of investing: Enroll in beginner stock market courses at Index and Stock Trading Academy to build foundational knowledge. ⊠Monitor investments: Keep track of investments to learn about market trends and how investments grow over time. ⊠Plan for the future: Use the time before turning 18 to practice managing a portfolio, so you can confidently invest on your own once you reach adulthood.

These are the most common investment options: ⊠Stocks: Minors can invest in stocks through a custodial account, giving them exposure to the stock market. ⊠Mutual Funds: An easy way for minors to invest in diversified portfolios. ⊠Fixed Deposits (FDs): For those seeking low-risk investment options, FDs are a safe option with guaranteed returns. ⊠SIP (Systematic Investment Plan): A disciplined way to invest small amounts regularly, perfect for minors to understand consistent investment practices.

i miss carpisuns sometimes </3
#not necessarily that I regret switching over but i just get like nostalgic for an earlier time in the ml fandom#s3 was soooo much fun for me#and the long hiatus before s4 was also the best. so good wasnât ready for it to end when it did haha#things just feel so different in the fandom now#both the fandom has changed and I have changed#and of course the STORY has changed#and I like donât know what to do about that or how to react#cause I am used to being one of the guys who is defending mlâs honor with my life lol#committed to spreading positivity#and I still want to be that guy!#but itâs like. idk. I donât recognize this story anymore#this isnât the same story that I fell in love with years ago. but I donât want to just like Leave??#I do want to see how things play out bc I am still invested in these characters#and I would love to still be part of the fan community and connect with people over a mutual love for this thing#that has been important to me for years and has inspired me to create and learn new skills and make new friends!#but I also donât just want to shut up and pretend Iâm happy about things I am decidedly unhappy about lol#like itâs honestly surprising to me that a only a small minority of the fandom seems to feel the way I do?#and the majority are still super pumped and frustrated at the people who are complaining#and really. I donât WANT to rain on anyoneâs parade. I honestly donât#I was part of the parade for years! I had the best time in the parade! I donât want to ruin the good time!#so i try not to be too salty on main ? but i feel like Iâm going a little crazy lmao! like Iâm just one bitter little miser fhdjjd#i mean i guess itâs kind of a good thing that I moved blogs tbh lol#cause now when i whine only a fraction of the people have to be exposed to it đ#but man i hate knowing that people might think of me as a salter#I mean itâs valid if people are trying to have fun and do not want to hear my complaining haha#but also do i automatically have to be a salter. are the only options support and defend ml 100% at all times or Be A Salter#or can there be a third category of certified ml lover that is just disappointed in recent events & disagrees with the new writing direction#is that too much nuance for tumblr lol#see maybe thatâs why I miss carpisuns. she didnât have to ask this question. she was only full of LOVE!#but therein lies the ironyâŠlike marinette I have made this choice out of loveâŠfor what the story once wasâŠwhat is to become of me nowâŠ

like yes totk is technically much darker than other zelda games, but is there any emotional weight to it? when the plot consists of these out-of-context cutscenes that you can collect in any random order at any point in the game (or not at all) with zero impact on the plot or link himself? somehow the silly toon zelda game managed to make toon king daphnes of hyrule's sacrifice more heart-wrenching than king rauru of hyrule's, and the toon guy was literally a boat for most of the game
#loz#finding the memories is completely optional. does not change the story at all.#you can't just put disjointed scenes of dark things happening in a storyline we're not part of into the game like optional collectibles#and point at those like ''see look how dark our game is''#maybe you should've let us play some zelda sections to develop more of an emotional investment in that storyline#or maybe given link the protagonist of your game an emotional investment in that storyline#does anything dark even happen outside of those cutscenes#that like. means anything#puppet zelda could have been really creepy if link wasn't standing there like đ the whole fuckin time#in botw it made sense for link to be more emotionally detached bc he was an amnesiac and it was part of the tragedy#still could've explored his character more (like in the original japanese) + shown more expression at the end to complete his character arc#but it was a more minor complaint in botw#in totk it's like does link even give a shit abt anything that's going on

I can hear the siren (Siren part I)
⥠Pairing: Hwang Hyunjin à fem!reader
⥠Genre: Camboy!Hyunjin, neighbors AU, strangers to âloversâ
⥠CW: Explicit sexual content (minors dni!), sex work, voyeurism if you squint, hate sex kind of?, masturbation, thigh riding, oral sex (male receiving), unprotected sex, Hyunjinâs a bit of an asshole but I love him
⥠Word count: 7.9k
⥠Synopsis: To say your new next-door neighbor is loud would be an understatement. Three times a week, at the same time every night, he will laugh and talk loudly for an hour. After that, like clockwork, a cacophony of his groans and moans will fill your room through your shared wall. Heâs most certainly entertaining some hookup, or maybe a girlfriend. You frankly donât care â all you know is you want your peace and quiet back. But you never wouldâve guessed what you would find out upon confronting him.
⥠A/N: Once again, I cannot shut up and this ended up being much longer than I had originally wanted. One day, I will write a one-shot thatâs less than 5k words, but today is not that day. I listened to Taeyeonâs Siren while writing this, hence the title. Also think the songâs a little fitting to the story.
part II â
Yet another night, yet another two hours of hearing your next-door neighbor moaning like a porn star for anyone to hear. The thin walls of your apartment, coupled with the fact that your room shared a wall with his own bedroom, make it impossible for you not to hear everything that happens inside his bedroom. Earphones have proven futile in muffling his voice, and you can only distract yourself with mindless YouTube videos for so long before you give up and simply wait for him to finish. Quite literally.
You noticed it was his routine: Fridays and weekends â the nights when he would graciously give the entire building a free show.
But that wasnât all he did. And thatâs what stirs up curiosity inside of you.
An hour before the unholy sounds begin, he spends a significant amount of time simply speaking, laughing loudly, and throwing the occasional suggestive comment here and there. But only his voice can be heard, and considering how damn thin the walls are, you canât help but wonder why that is. Maybe his hookups arenât into his long, drawn-out conversations, only there to get fucked and dip as fast as possible. Or perhaps itâs a girlfriend, and he enjoys gagging her. Your mind has had plenty of time to run wild with theories, seeing as he moved about a month ago, starting your own personal version of hell on his very first day.
You complained to your landlord three times now. On the first time, you were dismissed as being too sensitive to noise. Maybe invest in some earplugs, she suggested. The second time, after explaining through gritted teeth that perhaps the entire building could also hear him and it would be wise to give him a warning, she assured you that only your apartment had such complaints â after all, it was only the two of you on that floor. And, on your last attempt before you ultimately gave up, your landlord all but berated you for meddling in your neighborâs business. She argued he was inside his apartment and could do whatever he desired.
And so, you accepted your fate.
As you walk out of the shower, your bliss at the realization that tonight is a Friday dissipates as soon as it dawns on you that you are in for three days in a row of your neighbor and his antics. You groan, reluctantly making your way toward your bedroom, your body aching after sitting at your desk at work all day. So sleeping on the couch was not an option; your limbs only ached even more the day after you did that to try and escape the raucous noise.
Like clockwork, at exactly ten p.m., his loud voice fills the small space of your bedroom.
âIâm actually going out tonight again, so we have to be quick,â he explains. âBut you like it when Iâm quick, donât you? Like when I make you cum so fast you barely have time to understand whatâs happening.â
You grimace at his words, burying yourself under your blankets. God.
âIâm going clubbing with a couple of friends,â He continues. âHopefully, Iâll find a nice girl to take home, hm?â
Crossing out the word Girlfriend on your mental notes, you scoff. What a gentleman he is, letting his hook-up know heâll have to fuck her fast so he can leave to meet another woman to take home.
âMaybe Iâll record a video for you if she lets me. Would you like that, seeing me fuck another woman? I bet you would.â
What the fuck. The word Girlfriend is added back to your list. Maybe the girl is into that shit, and youâre not one to kink shame so long as everythingâs consensual. But you surely didnât consent to knowing that information.Â
Soon enough, his voice drops to a sultry tone, and incessant hums spill from his lips. And the worst part of your night begins.
You hate to admit it â seeing as the guy makes you lose sleep and disturbs your peace since heâs graced the building with his presence â but his dirty talk, when coupled with his groans, becomes far less unpleasant and much more enticing. Every night, you struggle for an hour with the uncomfortable feeling of arousal between your legs, the way he alternates between praises and vulgar words causing a twinge inside of you. But you never dare to masturbate to the sound of his voice â that would be going too far. Or, at least, thatâs what you tell yourself as you follow your rule of waiting for him to finish whatever it is that heâs doing to then finally touch yourself. As you tightly shut your eyes, you focus on your upcoming work assignments, desperately trying to drown out the sound of his voice. Maybe boring yourself to sleep is your only escape.
âOh, I know how wet you are just watching me â fuck,â he groans, a breathy scoff leaving his lips. âDonât even gotta tell me. Just touch yourself, itâs okay.â
Your eyes shoot open as it feels as if heâs fucking talking to you. You shake your head, the awful feeling of embarrassment engulfing you in the privacy of your own bedroom.
âI know you want to,â His voice is unrelenting, reverberating through your dark room, punctuated by heavy sighs. âDo it for me, will you? Touch your pretty cunt for me.â
You feel your clit begin to pulse, and a loud groan escapes from your lips. So loud, in fact, you wonder if he heard you through the thin walls as well.
Fuck it, you tell yourself inwardly, itâs not like the guy will ever know what youâre doing.
The sound of his voice was as silky and dark as velvet, covering you wholly and clouding your judgment with each word. You allow your hand to slip underneath your sleep shorts, gasping as you find the fabric of your panties already soaking simply from hearing his words â almost begging, guiding you to let go of your reservations and touch yourself.
âJust like that. Dâyou like the sound of my voice?â He asked, voice breathless, a deep groan echoing through the walls. âLike hearing me moan for you? Bet youâd like it even more if I was fucking you.â
Your fingers delicately flick back and forth, teasing your clit, your mind now shamelessly imagining his fingertips, his tongue, his cock, anything he was willing to give you. Youâre quick to lose yourself in this imagination, despite not knowing what the man looked like â you soon realize that wasnât at all important, a dark shadowy figure hovering over you proving to be more than enough for you as you felt a rush of wetness pooling between your thighs when your neighbor let out a louder, guttural noise.
âFuck, Iâd love to be stretching that pussy out,â He chokes out, and you bite your bottom lip to keep from making any noise. Youâre now hyper-aware that if you can hear him this loudly, heâd be able to hear you with the same amount of clarity.
Your embarrassment only goes so far, though, as you slip a finger into your cunt, your breath hitching and your eyes fluttering closed to better conjure up the fantasy your mind had been creating. You imagine his long fingers inside you in place of your own, the words he spilled almost nonchalantly being whispered directly into your ears. One finger soon turned into two, then three, the heel of your palm rubbing against your clit as you tilt your hips up. You throw away your last drop of inhibition as you indulge in vivid thoughts, imagining the shape and size of his cock and, most importantly, how it would feel as it filled you up. Your neighborâs words almost faded into white noise, his grunting the only coherent sound in your ears.
Would he take his time with you, like he always did whenever you heard him? Teasing you for hours as he candidly talked about nothing in particular, rendering you unable to do anything but beg for him? Or would he be hasty, like tonight, his cock abruptly stretching you to the brim, making you feel every inch of his thick length? Would he rather finish on your breasts, your stomach, or maybe your face, taking a picture to keep as a souvenir he could show off to whoever he was with during these nights?
âCome with me,â His voice suddenly became clear once more, deep and hoarse as you imagine his lips pressed against the shell of your ear. âThink about how good itâd feel to have me come inside you, stuffing that little cunt while you milk me dry.â
You purse your lips as you feel your release approaching, coaxed purely by his words. The mental image of this stranger painting your insides with his release, all the while his intoxicating voice told you how good you were, how warm and tight you felt enough to have waves of pleasure wash over you, body tensing up as your orgasm surges through you.
As you slowly come down from your high, you feel your consciousness come back to you. Your fingers leave your core as if you were just burned by fire, which is fitting as a feeling of burning embarrassment wraps around you tightly like a vice.
But the worst part is that the shame quickly ebbs away as you hear your neighborâs chuckle, the laugh of a stranger you had come to almost memorize.
âYou know Iâm always glad to make you come. Iâll see you tomorrow.â
And with that, everything around you falls into a quiet stillness. You faintly hear as he shuts his front door, presumably leaving for that club he had mentioned, and youâre left to lie with your regrets.
This has just crossed a line, and although you couldnât bring yourself to feel all that guilty, you still knew it was wrong. You had no choice but to confront the cause of your troubles yourself.
Unfortunately, that cause was a person you had just shamelessly fantasized about as you fingered yourself.
The next afternoon, you stand at your neighborâs door, hesitant to knock. Since he mentioned going clubbing last night, you knew coming by in the morning would be futile, but you also know â sadly, all too well â that Saturday nights are when heâs the loudest, and he only stops well past midnight. You settled for the afternoon, preparing lunch as you rehearsed your words in your head instead of enjoying your weekend.
You knock twice, and that familiar voice soon rings through the door, asking for a moment. A minute later, your neighbor is standing in front of you, holding the door open with sleepy eyes that focus on you. Youâre not sure what you were expecting, but surely not a tired-looking tall man with messy black hair wearing a pout on his lips, as if you just rudely disturbed him from his sleep (how ironic). From what you heard during the last month, you were ready to have to face a shirtless fuckboy, a permanent smirk etched onto his lips as he eyed you indifferently. Instead, youâre greeted by soft cheeks and half-closed eyes.
âYeah?â Your neighbor croaks out, face still heavy with sleep.
You clear your throat, returning to the matter at hand. âIâm your next-door neighbor, Iââ
âNice to meet you, neighbor,â he says before you can even finish your rehearsed opening sentence, his lips curling into a small smile. You fight back the urge to roll your eyes. Somehow, him being so soft is making you hate him even more.
âI wish I could say the same,â you mutter, âYâknow, youâve been making my life a living hell since you moved in.â
He doesnât answer, instead running a hand through his hair, the strands falling into place and away from his face. After a small nod, he opens the door all the way.
âCome on in,â he says, promptly walking inside and leaving you standing in the hallway all alone. You have no choice but to follow after him.
He snatches his cup of coffee from the counter, letting out a tired sigh as he collapses onto the couch and takes a big sip. You sit next to him and watch as he swallows slowly, humming contently, and only then speaking again.
âWhy is that?â
You hold back another eye roll. âWell, youâre quite noisy at night,â you hesitantly begin, only now grasping just how awkward explaining this situation will be. âOn Fridays and on the weekends, youâre⊠loud.â
And in an instant, you witness a complete shift in his entire demeanor right before your eyes. Like heâs possessed by something, his once sleepy eyes now bore into you with an intense gaze, and his lips curl into the smug grin you were expecting from the start.
âSo you can hear me?â He asks as if you hadnât just told him exactly that. You feel small under the weight of his darkened eyes, but you shrug, doing your best at feigning confidence.
âItâs pretty hard not to hear you,â you answer simply. âWe share a wall, in case you didnât know. I can hear everything you do in your bedroom.â
He raises a brow at your words as if they piqued his interest. But he doesnât verbalize it; instead, he speaks in that same nonchalant tone youâre used to hearing through your bedroom wall, âYou never told me your name. A bit rude, donât you think?â He offers you his hand. âIâm Hyunjin.â
You scoff but shake his hand regardless, telling him your name with a sigh.
âYou know what I think is rude?â You offer him a forced smile. âKeeping your next-door neighbor up all night with how fucking loud you are.â
Hyunjin doesnât answer. His gaze traces a path from your eyes to your lips before lingering on your thighs. You instinctively cross your legs, fingers smoothing down the fabric of your shorts. Locking his gaze with yours once more after a few seconds, he cocks his head to the side.
âSo Iâve been keeping you up all night?â He muses, and you feel a warmth spread across your cheeks at the rough rasp in his voice.
Itâs almost as if he knows what you did last night and is teasing you.
Although you know thatâs impossible, your words still get choked up. Hyunjin was undeniably attractive â whether it was looking as soft as he did while answering the door or as if he could devour you with his gaze alone as he does now. You couldnât be blamed for feeling flustered, especially after everything you heard this man saying and doing.
âWell,â you clear your throat, crossing your arms over your chest. Showing your outrage at this entire situation is your best bet, so you allow for the anger you felt during all those sleepless nights to seep through your veins. âItâs kinda hard to sleep when youâre moaning like a porn star.â
But Hyunjin fully chuckles at that. âSo I sound like a porn star?â He nods with an amused hum. âIâll take that as a compliment, thank you.â
You let out a heavy sigh. Never mind anything you had thought upon seeing him open that door; Hyunjin is everything you thought he would be.
âLook, I didnât come here to stroke your ego. Youâre clearly doing just fine in that regard,â you grumble, and he scoffs beside you, leaning back on the couch with a smug expression you want to slap away from his pretty face. âI came here to ask if you could move whatever it is that you do to the living room, or maybe keep it down. Iâm sure thatâs not too much to ask.âÂ
Hyunjin clicks his tongue almost mockingly. âOh, but it is too much to ask. I canât really do any of those things. Sorry,â he shrugs, âThe building has thin walls. Youâre just gonna have to get used to it, Iâm afraid.â
You stagger at his words, his lack of common sense seemingly higher than you initially gave him credit for. Youâre unsure whether to laugh in sheer disbelief or cuss him out as anger slowly bubbles up inside your chest. How unfairly attractive he looks at the moment isnât helping your case â he spreads his legs further as he shifts on the couch, bringing his mug up to his full lips and watching you almost uninterestedly with half-lidded eyes.
Fuck this guy.
âWhat is it you do thatâs so important that you canât at least keep it down? Canât your girlfriend get off without your obnoxious dirty talk? Is that it?â
Hyunjin shakes his head dismissively. âDonât have a girlfriend.â
âYour dates, then. I honestly donât care.â You roll your eyes, which elicits a small laugh from him. You have never wanted to punch someone so badly, all while also wanting them to rearrange your guts. âWhoever it is, whatever it is that you do, canât we compromise and you be quiet, at least on Fridays? I get home from work exhausted and have to put up with your shit when all I wanna do is sleep.â
âAh, but Fridays are the most important nights for me,â Hyunjin tells you with a condescending lilt in his voice. âThatâs also not possible, Iâm so sorry.â
âI see.â You suck in a deep breath, your eyes narrowing and hands curling into fists on your lap. âThen would it be possible for you to move your⊠activities to the living room?â
Hyunjin contorts his face, shaking his head while that grin is still etched onto his lips. âYeah, no, thatâs also not possible.â
âYouâre extremely inflexible, do you know that?â You blurt out, âIâm not asking that you move out, Iâm simply asking that you fuck whoever it is that you fuck every weekend somewhere else.â
His piercing gaze lingers on you briefly, as if heâs carefully considering his next words. Sighing, he sets his mug on the end table and sits up straight.
âLetâs make a deal,â he proposes, carelessly ripping a piece of paper from the open sketchbook that lay on the coffee table and jotting something down. âTonight, you wait for me to start my activities,â he says with a poorly concealed chuckle. âAnd then you go on this website. Maybe itâll clear up some things inside your pretty little head. Can you do that for me?â
He hands you the note, eyes darting down to your lips once more before meeting your gaze. The tone of his voice is the same that echoes through your bedroom during those nights â exactly like the one that coaxed an orgasm out of you just last night, and you absentmindedly squeeze your thighs together.
You need to get out of here.
With a small nod, you swiftly stand back on your feet and walk toward the door of his apartment that was left wide open. You quietly mutter a goodbye as Hyunjin says something about it being a pleasure meeting you, all while amusedly staring at you.
Itâs only as you close your front door behind you that you look down at the piece of paper that you subconsciously crumpled up. Scrawled in a messy handwriting is simply a website address:
fivestarcam.com
You furrow your brows, walking toward your bedroom as you rack your brain for how a website could possibly give you answers. It dawns on you, then â all the trouble you went through, and yet, no solution to your problem.
Ultimately, you decide youâve already wasted too much of your patience on this man today, throwing the piece of paper on your bedside table and going about your day, enjoying the tranquility of your apartment while you can.
Night comes too fast, the sun setting outside unbeknownst to you as you lie on the couch for nearly three hours, your focus solely on the plot of the movie playing on your phone. Soon enough, ten p.m. rolls around, and you drag your tired body toward your bathroom. You take a shower with no rush, knowing full well that by the time you walk into your bedroom, Hyunjinâs activities will already have started.
Sure enough, youâre greeted by a drawled-out groan as soon as you enter your room. With a heavy sigh, you throw yourself onto your bed. Your bedroom had always been comforting, your bed almost like a safe haven from all the stress life threw your way. Yet now itâs simply the place where you lie awake for hours, simultaneously vexed and uncomfortably turned on.
You lie still for a while, Hyunjinâs vulgar chatter like the background music to your spacing out, until you remember the piece of paper he gave you earlier. How would a website clear up any of your confusion? And, more importantly, why should you even care enough to find out? From the little interaction you had with the man, you know for a fact Hyunjin will remain unchanging in his obnoxious ways.
However, youâve always been too curious for your own good, and the mere prospect of understanding this annoyingly enigmatic man even a tiny bit has you hurriedly picking your laptop off the floor and typing out the website address on your browser. Curiosity killed the cat.
The first thing that greets you is a message asking that you verify being over the age of eighteen. All you have to do is click a button, which seems counterintuitive, but you have little time to worry about that when your screen is filled with preview thumbnails of several live broadcasts.
Youâve heard of camming websites before, of course, but you didnât know they were still a thing nowadays, what with the rise of Only Fans and other more independent ways to go about making money like this.
Your eyes scan the page with agape lips. Men and women â some in their underwear and some already naked, some showing their faces and some wearing masks. And then, your eyes land on a particular thumbnail. At the Top Cammers of The Month section, on the number one spot, is a fully clothed man with familiar long black hair. Only the bottom of his face can be seen due to his camera angle, but that is more than enough as your gaze fixes on his full lips.
Thatâs undeniably Hyunjin. Your neighbor, Hyunjin.
Before you can make sense of your actions, your fingers are already hovering above the touchpad as you watch the thumbnail image change into a new one. Curiosity is eating away at you, and you canât deny that your nosy mind is eager to finally see Hyunjin rather than only hear him.
Ultimately, you decide this is ridiculous.
But your twitching fingers brush against the touchpad just as you move to close your laptop, promptly clicking the live video, your screen now filled with the image of Hyunjin in his bedroom. Heâs shirtless now, palming himself through his sweatpants â the same ones he wore this afternoon.
âYou wanna know how clubbing went last night?â He says with a grin, and you now understand his incessant talking is merely him answering comments from his viewers. Various different names fly through the right side of your screen, some with tips attached to their comments and some simply drooling over Hyunjin as he essentially sits in front of the camera doing nothing.
A cocky smile is spread on his lips once you shift your attention back to him.
âI guess youâre good at following orders,â he chuckles. You then realize your laptopâs volume is on high, and the speakerâs noise permeates through your wall and into Hyunjinâs bedroom. Your eyes shoot open, and you scramble to find your earphones in your bed.
Youâre gnawing on your bottom lip as you plug them in, suddenly too aware of the fact that he can hear you just as well as you can hear him. Hyunjinâs smile shifts into a small laugh, his hand wrapping around his length through his sweatpants, the firm outline of his cock straining against the fabric. You feel a tingling sensation spread through your body, your inner muscles clenching as you watch the way his hand squeezes along the thick outline, the muscles of his stomach contracting as he lets out a broken sigh.
This feels wrong, as if youâre nothing more than a pervert watching Hyunjin for your own pleasure. But then again, it was he who gave you the website address in the first place. Why else would he have done that if not for you to watch him?
âI have a special someone watching tonight,â he murmurs, and you can just imagine his gaze right now â his eyes hooded and piercing, locked onto the camera with the same intensity as when he looked at you earlier today.
Hyunjinâs hand reaches inside his sweatpants, withdrawing his cock from the constraints of the dark fabric before you can make sense of whatâs happening. Your gaze remains fixed, unable to look away from the red, swollen head that stands out against his pale skin. With lazy movements, he begins stroking himself, the precum dripping from the tip easing the glide of his hand. You bite the inside of your cheek as more arousal leaks from you, gathering in your panties.
âHope she likes watching just as much as she liked listening to me last night,â Hyunjin rasps out, and you immediately close your laptop, throwing it to the side before burying your face in your pillow.
He knows you got off to his voice. He has to know.
And, unfortunately, your brain is currently too clouded by lust to function properly, and the only logical solution you can come up with is to go knocking at his door tomorrow.
You stand in front of Hyunjinâs door at the same time as yesterday, a strange blend of anger and curiosity making you knock frantically until he answers with that annoyingly alluring smirk on his lips.
âDid you enjoy the show last night?â Hyunjin asks before you can even utter a word, his voice filled with a goading tone.
You push past him, walking into his apartment with a scowl. âWhy did you send me that?â
He only shrugs, closing the door behind him before stretching his arms above his head with a sigh. âNeeded you to understand why I canât just stop doing what I do. Itâs my job,â he reasons, âI figured showing you was more effective than telling you.â
A scoff involuntarily falls from your lips, and you fight back the urge to roll your eyes. âSo you just sent me to a website full of porn without even asking me if that was okay? I donât care if thatâs your fucking job, I never asked youââ
âDid you stay till the end?â He asks, a lazy grin on his lips as his gaze wanders across your face. Clearly, heâd completely ignored every word that came out of your mouth.
âHyunjin, are you even listening to me?â
âI was thinking about you, yâknow?â He continues, taking a step toward you. âWas really easy to come when I knew you were watching me.â He cages your body against the door with his, both hands resting beside your head. His dark gaze locks onto you, causing your breath to hitch. âAll I could think about was how you were secretly listening to me all this time. Such a dirty girl.â
Hyunjin clicks his tongue, shaking his head in feigned disappointment. You want to tell him you werenât secretly listening to him; you were merely thrown into this situation against your will. But his gaze shifts from your eyes to your lips, lingering before roaming over the swell of your breasts, causing your thoughts to blur and your words to die in your throat.
âKept thinking about how I never heard you,â he says, almost as if heâs wondering aloud. âWhen was the last time someone fucked you properly?â
His gaze finally travels back up to yours, and the fog of desire clouding his eyes is unmistakable. The moment you knocked on his door, you knew this would happen. You werenât naĂŻve, and Hyunjin wasnât stupid; the moment you pushed past him and into his apartment, you both knew where this was going.
âDonât have time to go on dates,â you murmur as Hyunjin leans down, humming low on his throat.
âWell,â he whispers, the warmth of his breath tickling your face. âYou got to listen to me, got to watch me⊠Donât you wanna know what it feels like?â
You can only nod, and Hyunjin immediately presses his lips to yours in a searing kiss. He wedges his knee firmly between your thighs, as if heâs silently demanding that you give in to him. Little does he know youâre already way past that point.
Breaking the kiss, Hyunjin studies your features for a beat, the pad of his thumb gliding across your bottom lip as you look up at him with pleading eyes.
âYou really want this?â He asks, and you canât help but feel he does it simply for the pleasure of hearing you beg.
But you happily comply either way.
âPlease,â you breathe out, and Hyunjin chuckles, firmly pressing his thumb into your mouth and watching as you wrap your lips around it with a contented hum. A smile tugs at the corner of his lips.
Hyunjin pushes his thigh against your core, the seam of your shorts creating a delicious friction against your clit. You can feel the warmth of his body as he presses up against you, and a sigh falls from your lips, your hands gliding up around his shoulders. You have no reservations left in your body; the only thing replaying inside your mind at the moment is the image of Hyunjinâs cock on your laptop. He was right. You were dying to know what it would feel like.
His strong hands firmly gripped onto your hips, guiding you to move against his thigh, each back-and-forth motion increasing the pressure on your aching clit. It felt too much, yet not enough at the same time. But just as youâre about to plead for more, Hyunjinâs pressing his lips to yours again and swallowing down your voice. His tongue slides against yours, the taste of coffee and smoke lingering in your mouth as he grazes your bottom lip with his teeth, pulling gently before letting go.
You feel your mind go fully hazy as Hyunjin lifts his thigh, bringing you up to your tiptoes, his muscles flexing and prompting you to roll your hips faster, harder.
âWho wouldâve thought, huh? Just minutes ago you were acting like I was the worst person alive,â He lets out a low chuckle, amused, and your grip on his neck tightens as you feel the familiar vexation he brings out of you bubble up inside your chest. âNow youâre humping my leg like a bitch in heat.â
âShut up,â you choke out, your brain too lust-hazed to conjure up a better response. You donât particularly care what he thinks of you so long as he keeps his bruising grip on your skin, guiding you to roll your hips against him.
Hyunjin trails kisses down the skin of your neck, settling at the dip of your collarbone and sucking on the skin while you eagerly quicken your speed. His teeth nip at the sensitive skin, undoubtedly marking you, while his thigh begins to bounce against your cunt, and you can feel the familiar aching warmth of your orgasm beginning to tighten in your stomach. But just as youâre about to be hit by the release youâre so desperate for, Hyunjinâs hands leave your hips and slide down to your ass, any stimulation you had before coming to a halt as he picks you up and makes his way to the living room.
âWhat the fuck?â You all but yell, earning you a hearty laugh from Hyunjin. âI was close, you asshole.â
He roughly throws you onto the couch, a condescending pout etched onto his lips.
âBut thatâs no fun for me, is it, baby?â He hovers over you, spreading your thighs apart and slotting himself between them. In stark contrast to his words, he gently lifts your shirt over your head, feather-light touch sending shivers down your spine. âGreedy girls donât get to come.â
You feel your insides clenching at his words, and although you despise the effect he has on you, youâre already here, laid out before him, so you might as well indulge him. You gently push Hyunjin back until he sinks into the sofa, legs lazily spread apart and half-lidded eyes fixated on you. As soon as you clutch at his shirt, he promptly tugs it over his head in one fluid motion, and you attach your lips to the bare skin of his stomach, trailing kisses down the expanse of his torso.
You waste no time tugging his sweatpants down and out of your way, his cock now hanging heavily before you, just as pretty as it had seemed on that little screen. Hyunjinâs hand soon wraps around himself, stroking lazily while you watch the precum dribble from his tip. Tentatively, you grab the base of his cock, bringing your tongue to the head and tantalizingly lapping at it. Hyunjin lets out a quiet gasp, his own hand leaving his length and tangling in your hair, guiding you forward toward his cock. You part your lips and suck the head into your waiting mouth, hands now stroking his length at a slow pace while you lick up his slit, the salty taste lingering on your tongue. You hold back a chuckle when you feel him twitch under your touch, a soft whimper falling from his throat.
Hyunjinâs hips buck up into your lips, and you promptly open your jaw wider and slide his whole length down your throat slowly. You werenât lying when you said you had no time for dates, which is why you find yourself struggling a bit. It truly had been a while since you had a proper fuck, but you would never give Hyunjin the pleasure of hearing you admit it. Breathing through your nose, youâre finally able to move up and down his cock, swallowing all of him. Your eyes well up as his fingers tug harshly at your hair, shoving your mouth back down the entirety of his thick length. A choked-out whimper falls from your throat, and you instinctively move your gaze toward his.
âGod,â he rasps out, teeth gnawing at his bottom lip and eyebrows knitting together. âYou take me so well.â
You promptly remove your lips from him with a loud pop, precum and saliva dribbling down your chin as you struggle to suppress a laugh at the utter indignation on his face.
âI doubt you could fuck me if I let you come,â you shrug, and Hyunjinâs expression softens, a scoff falling from his lips.
Before you can say anything else, heâs already pushed you back onto the couch, easily flipping you over so your face is pressed into the cushion. He snakes a hand under your stomach and lifts your hips, quickly working to rid you of your shorts before pressing his cock against your clothed ass.
He leans down, lips pressed against your ear â much like it was in your fantasy back in your bedroom â and whispers, âYou need me that badly? I can feel how soaked you are, and all you did was hump my leg.â
You grumble under your breath, but it goes ignored by Hyunjin as he grips your hips and slides his cock under the fabric of your panties, stroking himself along your soaking slit with a low groan. You can feel your underwear gradually dampen more as his precum mixes with your own arousal, the sheer cloth clinging to his cock with each thrust.
Hyunjinâs hand splayed across your lower back, causing you to arch your body and press your hips back instinctively. He chuckles, hand coming down onto the supper flesh of your ass with no warning, a sharp whimper falling from your lips.
âI told you greedy girls donât get to come,â He reiterates, clicking his tongue and grabbing a large handful of your ass before tugging your panties down your legs. You quietly hoped the trees outside obscured enough of his window, otherwise youâd be in for some interesting elevator rides with your other neighbors. With a hiss, Hyunjinâs thumb presses against your clit before gliding along your wet folds. âSoaking wet,â he mutters, eyes glazed over while he watches your slick coat his finger.
You simply hum, not wanting to stroke his ego any more than you already had by begging him earlier. But youâre unable to contain the gasp that leaves your lips as he pushes his hips forward, the swollen tip of his cock gliding against your warm core once, twice, all while Hyunjinâs hands travel across your ass and thighs. Youâre sure heâll tease you until you give in and beg, but it seems his facade is quick to crumble. He impatiently wraps a hand around his length, finally guiding himself toward your entrance, seamlessly gliding into you with a heavy sigh.
He stills for a second, gaze transfixed by the way your cunt stretches around his thick cock. Until he suddenly pulls out of you before snapping his hips forward again, then again, until he sets a rhythm of deep, fast strokes that have you rocking back and forth on the couch. Pulling yourself up to rest on your forearms, you choke out a loud moan, Hyunjinâs cock twitching inside you at the sound.Â
âFuck, youâre so tight,â He groans, strong arms encircling your body once more, this time pulling you close to him until your back presses against his chest. Hyunjinâs thrusts grew more forceful, the sound of skin slapping together echoing through his small living room as he relentlessly pumped himself into you. His hand wraps in your hair, yanking your head back and humming against your ear, âGo on, you can moan for me,â he hisses, âI know how good it feels.â
Fuck. His ego is surely something you would never get used to.
But you let go, freely groaning at the feeling of his cock pistoning into you. You can feel the curve of his grin against your cheek.
âLike that, I know how much you like it,â he rasps out, âJust as much as you liked touching yourself to my voice like a little slut.â
âFuck off, youââ you huff, your words cut off by a drawn-out mewl as Hyunjinâs fingers firmly pressed down on your clit, flattening the swollen bud. You couldnât control yourself after that, desperate whimpers and choked-out moans falling from your lips with each harsh thrust of his hips.
Your sounds seem to stir something inside of him, and his movements grow more erratic, his fingers circling your clit hastily. A crescendo of arousal and pleasure envelops you as more curses tumble from Hyunjinâs lips against your ear, his hand gripping your cheek and pulling you into a messy kiss.
You clench around him, body shaking with the force of your climax as you seek Hyunjinâs arm wrapped around your body for purchase. He continues pounding into you, and you feel yourself squirm, your vision going blurry from the stimulation.
âGonna come,â he hisses against your lips, âWhere do you want it?â
And youâre too far gone at this point, whimpering, âAnywhere you want.â
Hyunjin curses under his breath, pulling out while his hand finds your lower back once more, pushing you onto the couch before flipping your pliant body over so youâre facing him. You watch with hazy eyes as he strokes himself feverishly over your body, his cum soon shooting onto your breasts.
His unreadable gaze lingers on you for a beat and a half before he nonchalantly tucks himself back into his sweatpants and heads toward the hallway. You sit up on the couch, limbs aching, and chuckle to yourself. This was not your proudest moment, but you surely didnât regret it.
You donât expect aftercare from someone like him, so you resign yourself to searching for your discarded shirt. But Hyunjinâs tall frame appears before you, towel in hand before you can even stand up. His touch is gentle as he cleans your chest, and although the gesture is somewhat sweet, it feels extremely awkward.
âReally liked fucking you,â he tells you with a grin, âBut you gotta leave now. Iâm going live later, and I also gotta go to the club tonight, so I have to rest. But it was fun.â
And you simply scoff at his words, rising to your feet to dress yourself as quickly as possible. It was a bit baffling how he could fuck you the way he did, then tell you heâs off to pick up more girls at a club immediately after. But what did you expect? Hyunjinâs ego and arrogance were clear to you from day one.
âWhy the fuck do you go clubbing so much, anyway?â You question as you head toward the front door, and Hyunjin chuckles behind you. âIs that your hunting ground or something?â
âYou could say that,â he simply says.
As you unlock his door and step out into the hallway, Hyunjinâs voice calls out to you. Turning to look at him, youâre met with that familiar smirk adorning his lips.
âWe can do this again anytime you want,â he assures, and the mere thought of letting him touch you again makes you roll your eyes in disdain.
âYeah right.â
If only you knew then just how awfully torturous it would be to listen to him, knowing what he was doing â most importantly, knowing what it felt like to have him.
Lust completely clouds your judgment when it comes to Hyunjin, and you soon find yourself coming back to his apartment until it becomes an annoyingly pleasurable habit.
Every day, when he hears you get home from work, your phone buzzes with a text asking that you come over and help him âwarm up for his job.â The nights of suffering in your bedroom have transformed into watching him from the corner of his room, enthralled with the way he can make himself come on camera so eagerly and later fuck you with just as much vigor.
Itâs a nice arrangement, but definitely not one you see yourself in for the long run. Hyunjin might kiss you and hold you close as he fucks you, but youâre not foolish enough to anchor your feelings to someone like him. Itâs not his job thatâs the problem, but mostly his attitude toward life. He belongs to nobody, while you yearn to belong to someone. Routine is the last thing on his mind, while you revel in its comfort. You could never be with someone like him.
But it is a nice arrangement.
So you find yourself back in his bed again today, his heavy cock in your mouth as he tugs harshly on your hair, painting the back of your throat with his cum. Except this time, he doesnât immediately ask you to leave.
âWhat?â You ask, âDonât you have to go clubbing or something?â
âItâs my day off,â he shrugs, his arms wrapping around you as he pulls you close and falls back into bed. You furrow your brows, detangling yourself from him.
âDay off? From what, picking up girls?â
Hyunjin chuckles, eyes sleepy. âI work at the club,â he simply says. âIâm a host, I just act like I go clubbing when I talk about it during my lives âcause my viewers can be a bit stalkery.â
âWhat?â
âHave you heard of The Siren?â He asks, and you hum, recalling a faint memory of some of your co-workers mentioning the club in passing. âThatâs where I work.â
You nod slowly, still confused. âWhat exactly does a host do?â
âWell, basically, I get to make money just by making lonely women feel wanted.â
You canât help but scoff at his crude description. âAnd do you fuck them?â
âWell, yeah,â he answers like itâs obvious. âItâs part of the job.â
âFucking hell,â You let out a hearty laugh, to which Hyunjin shoots you a questioning look. âYour sex drive really should be studied.â
His lips upturn into a smirk, and his arms reach for you again, beckoning you back into his embrace. âNo need to be jealous, baby. I only fuck them if theyâre willing to pay, and Iâm expensive.â
You roll your eyes, allowing him to pull you into his chest. He threads his fingers through your hair, and you canât help but feel⊠awkward.
âYouâre kind of an asshole, Hyunjin.â
He hums. âSure, but you still let me fuck you.â
You two stay that way for a while, his fingers massaging your scalp as he presses a kiss to your head now and then. It feels disorienting, like a sudden shift from everything Hyunjin had been until now. He was never caring or sweet, he never kissed you if you werenât fucking, and he surely never cuddled you. Your face involuntarily contorts into a grimace.
You detach yourself from him, getting up from the bed and telling him youâll see him later. But Hyunjin is grabbing at your arm with a smile.
âCome on, donât be sad,â he giggles as you try to free yourself from his grip. âIâm really not the type of guy you should have fallen for, anyway.â
You still at his words, face contorting into pure befuddlement. âFallen for? Who the fuck says Iâve fallen for you?â
And Hyunjin simply scoffs, letting go of your arm as his smile shifts into his characteristic grin. âWell, thereâs a reason Iâm number one among the hosts at The Siren.â
âHyunjin, those girls arenât exactly after you for your personality,â you deadpan. âYouâre really nothing worth falling for.â
His grin slowly fades, and itâs his turn to have confusion take hold in his eyes. âWhat?â
You can tell he wasnât expecting this. Almost as if he was expecting you to have truly fallen for him simply because he⊠is him. And you canât help but chuckle at the situation.
âHyunjin,â you call out to him sweetly, and his gaze is back on you immediately. âYouâre a nice fuck, but thatâs really it. Donât worry about me falling for you.â
You can swear you see a flicker of hurt in his eyes, but itâs likely only your imagination. He opens his lips to speak but promptly closes them again. He simply stares up at you from where heâs sat on the bed and almost looks sweet. If you didnât know him, you would undoubtedly be charmed by this convincing facade. You have to give it to him; you do understand why heâs number one at his job.
âButâŠâ He trails off, shaking his head. âBut Iâll see you again tomorrow, right?â
âSure,â you shrug. âWe can keep fucking until I find something better.â
You run your fingers through his long hair and make your way to the door, leaving him with an expression frozen in bewilderment.
Hyunjin might kiss you and hold you close as he fucks you, but heâll never be yours.
But thatâs not a problem, as you surely will never be his as well.

Employers desire foreign workers who are accustomed to the hazardous work sites of industrial construction; in particular, they specifically solicit migrants who do not have a history of labor organizing within SWANA. In response, labor brokerage firms brand themselves as offering migrant workers who are deferential. Often, labor brokers conflate the category of South Asian with docility; [...] as inherently passive, disciplined, and, most important, unfettered by volatile working conditions. "We say quality, they [U.S. employers] say seasoned. We both know what it means. Workers who are not going to quit, not going to run away in the foreign country and do as they are told.â [...]
For migrants, the U.S. oil industry presents a rare chance to apply their existing skill set in a country with options for permanent residency and sponsorship of family members. Migrants wish to find an end to their temÂporary worker status; they imagine the United States as a liberal economy in which labor standards are enforced and there are opportunities for citizenship and building a life for their family. [...] What brokers fail to explain is that South Asian migrants are being recruited as guest workers. Migrants will not have access to U.S. citizenship or visas for family members; in fact, their employment status will be quite similar to their SWANA migration.
While nations such as the Philippines have both state-mandated and independent migrant rights agencies, the Indian government has minimal avenues for worker protection. These are limited to hotlines for reporting abusive foreign employers and Indian consulates located in a few select countries of the SWANA region. [... Brokers] emphasize the docility of Indian migrants in comparison to the disruptive tendencies of other Asian migrant workers. [...] âSome of these Filipino men you see make a lot of trouble in the Arab countries. Even their women, who work as maids and such, lash out. The employer says one wrong thing and the workers get the whole country [the Philippines] on the street. [...] But you donât see our people creating a tamasha [spectacle] overseas.â [...] Just as Filipinx migrants are racialized to be undisciplined labor, Indian brokers construct divisions within the South Asian workforce to promote the primacy of their own firms. In particular, Pakistani workers are racialized as an abrasive population.
[...] While the public image of the South Asian American community remains as model minorities, presumed to be primarily upwardly mobile professionals, the global reality of the population is quite to the contrary. [...] From the historic colonial routes initiated by British occupation of South Asia to the emergence of energy markets within the countries of SWANA, migrants have been recruited to build industries by contributing their labor to construction projects. Within the last decade, these South Asian migrants, with experience in the SWANA oil industry, have been actively solicited as guest workers into the energy sector of the United States. The growth of hydraulic fracturing has opened new territory for oil extraction; capitalizing on the potential market are numerous stakeholders who have invested in industrial construction projects across the southwestern United States. The solicitation of South Asian construction workers is not coincidental. [...] Kartik, a globally competitive firmâs broker, explains the connection of Indian labor to practices of the past. âYou know we come from a long history of working in foreign lands. Even the British used to send us to Africa and the Arab regions to work in the mines and oil fields. Itâs part of our history.â

Did it first || Jeff the killer
SMUT MINORS DNI 18+. tw: yandere!jeff, stalking, murder, squirting
Jeff thought you were perfect. He immortalized you. You were his saving grace in a world so cold. You lived a normal life, one that wasn't an option for him anymore. You worked at a law firm, lived in the suburbs. Being with you was like checking his life out at your doorstep before coming inside. If he was being truthful, your average life was apart of his attraction to you. His infatuation with you was anything but healthy. This wasn't a love story for him. It was a passion, a pure and uncensored obsession. He didn't know what to do with these emotions. These pent up desires and cravings. The best part about it?
You didn't even know he was there.
While watching you, he always wondered to himself, what you were thinking? Despite seemingly being invested in whatever was in front of you, your eyes always seemed to stare into outer space. Something was on your mind, Jeff just couldn't place what it was. That was of course, until a man showed up at your doorstep.
That man wasn't Jeff. Jeff learned this man to be a coworker of yours named Jim. The pale killer spent an ungodly amount of time researching Jim. Who was he? Why was he at your house? What was Jim to you? You had never shown romantic interest in anyone before. Jeff had been with you for over a year now and you had never shown desire for another partner. It made the pale killer sick to watch him bring you flowers and chocolates. It made his stomach churn, watching you accept them. The loser didn't even know your favorite flower was lily's not stereotypical roses. He also didn't even bother to know you were allergic to nuts, unable to eat the store bought chocolates. Jeff may not have been a materialistic lover, but he most certainly went above and beyond physically.
You unknowingly had your own guard dog. You walked home from work every weeknight at a crisp six pm, right as the sun would start to set. Your car had 'somehow' broken down a few months ago, the car dealership telling you there were so many internal issues you might as well invest in a new car. What could Jeff say? It was easier to watch over you on foot. He considered himself an unconvential guardian angel of sorts. Jeff lost count of how many men he had mercilessly slaughtered after cat calling you or trying to follow you. Jeff took pride in it, being your savior. He was disgusted as he watched you smile and hug Jim. He shook his head, gritting his teeth. Clearly being your savior wasn't enough. What could Jim provide that he couldn't? Was it sex? Jeff knew your house like the back of his hand. You always left the right window in your living room cracked open for fresh air. Jeff may have tampered with your AC to ensure he could gain proper entry.
He didn't want you to have any intruders he couldn't protect you from. Jeff slid into your closet, watching through the cracked door as you let Jim lay you down on your bed. It took everything in him to not slit his throat right then and there. He watched as Jim sloppily kissed you, practically slobbering on your lips. You were a good actress, pretending to be more turned on then you actually were. Jeff knew all too well what you being hot and bothered looked like. The late nights you spent touching yourself to BDSM porn. He ensured to watch the same videos you did, just to make sure he knew what you were into for when the time came. Jim clearly didn't do even half of his research, skipping foreplay with you entirely. You pretended to not be bothered. If wasn't for the pure envy that ran through Jeff's veins he would've enjoyed the show. You were on all fours, back not even arched in the slightest. Jim couldn't see your beautiful face, but Jeff could. You were bored out of your mind as he fucked you.
Jeff would like to think what he did next was out of your best interest. He patiently waited until Jim finished, not bothering to tend to your needs. He watched the man slump beside you, his eyes fluttering shut. No aftercare either? Jeff sighed. You really knew how to pick em. He watched you slide out of bed naked, your ass jiggling as you slithered out of the room. You shut the bedroom door, giving Jeff the perfect opportunity to make his grand appearance. "Show time," He snickered to himself, pushing your closet door open. Jeff would have loved nothing more than to take his time with Jim. To cut open his insides and make him eat his own intestines. But the pale killer knew there was more important matters at hand. Your satisfaction meant more than his own, meaning Jeff would need to make this as quick as possible. He climbed onto the bed, slapping Jim awake. Jim awoke with beady and fearful eyes, unable to make a sound before Jeff plunged his knife into his chest. "Go to sleep," He snarled, twisting the knife into his chest. Normally Jeff would have taken the time to do his signature, but he could hear you turning on the shower.
You didn't deserve to have to make yourself cum. Sure your experiment was a complete and utter failure, but Jeff knew you were just testing the waters. He knew without a shadow of a doubt you were just testing how far Jeff would go for you. And this? The corpse that was displayed on your mattress? This would show you. But what would show you even more, was him finally gaining the courage to say hi. He watched the life slowly drain from Jim's eyes as he climbed out of your bed, carelessly opening your bedroom door with his bloody hand. He walked over to your bathroom, the steam from the hot water leaking through the door. Jeff could hear your pathetic little whimpers. You were so predictable. The pale killer let himself inside, your sinful noises coming to a halt. "Jim?" You called out, already wrapped in the showers warmth. Jeff slid off his shoes, before yanking the shower curtain open. You jumped, your mouth opening to form a scream. Jeff's large hand covered your lips at the last millisecond, the hot water soaking his blood stained clothes. This was your first time seeing him, Jeff expected this. He expected you to be taken aback by his beauty and unique appearance.
"Relax doll, I took care of that dipshit that didn't make you cum," He said, breathless. The blood from his clothes began to go down the drain, your panicked eyes darting side to side as you took in his hideous appearance. Obsidian and soulless eyes, paper white skin, and a carved smile that was so terrifying it almost didn't look real. "I'm gonna move my hand now gorgeous, I won't scream if I were you. Wouldn't want you to end up like good ole Jim," Jeff advised. Jeff couldn't kill you, he most certainly wouldn't. But you needed a bit of training. Your beautiful mind just needed some time to adjust to him forcefully advancing to the next level in your relationship. He slowly slid his hand away, your back pressed against the cool marble tiles of the shower wall. You didn't know what to say, utterly speechless as the killer stood before you. "My name is Jeff. I'm your guardian angel, doll. I'm all yours. And you? You're all mine," He said, a sincere grin spreading across his lips. You were shell shocked, staring at him in fear as he stared down at you. He brought his hand to your cheek, cupping it as gently as he could muster. "Do you hear me doll? You belong to me. No more Jim. No other shrimp dick fuck. Me. Just me," Jeff panted. The terror that was running through your veins was thrilling to watch, your face involuntarily shifting into dozens of different emotions at once.
Your eyes flooded with tears, your face flushing red. "Don't cry, there there," Jeff cooed, wiping away one of your fallen tears with his thumb. When they continued coming Jeff brought himself closer to you, flattening out his tongue across your cheek and licking your tears off of your skin. You swallowed shallowly, your body trembling from fear. His saliva felt disgusting against your skin, his hair and clothes now soaked from the ongoing shower water. "I won't rush things, I know this may be overwhelming for you," Jeff said. He was trying to be understanding and considerate. You were delicate and needed to be treated as such. He leaned back, a couple of inches separating his face from yours as water trailed down his face. "But I love you and i'm going to show you just how much," Jeff purred. You stared as he lowered himself to his knees. Your core was still throbbing, your legs glued shut from the moment Jeff revealed himself. Yet you couldn't deny how badly you wanted release, Jim failing to satisfy you in any sort of measurement. You knew it would be bad karma, allowing a serial killer to get you off. But you feared what would happen if you denied his advances, your hormones leading to you allowing him to pry open your thighs.
Your cunt. Oh your cunt. Jeff was in heaven, just seeing your slick up close and personal. "You know i've spent many nights watching you, playing with your clit. Trying to get your tiny fingers up to reach that sweet spot," Jeff rambled. He used two fingers to open your folds, admiring you. "But seeing it up close. Fuck, you are perfect," Jeff praised. Without another word he brought his mouth to your aching folds, your hand flying over your mouth to conceal your unholy moans. Jeff peered up at you, delivering a sharp slap to your thigh. "I didn't wait all of this time for silence. Be loud for me. Don't worry doll, no one can hear you," He snickered, knowing the double meaning to his words. Unsurely you lowered your shaky hand, bracing yourself against the tiles as he reattached his mouth to your cunt. Jeff knew you were wet enough to handle his fingers, the pale killer shoving two of them inside of you. You groaned, allowing your eyes to flutter shut as he lapped at your folds. It was terrifying, having an unhinged killer buried between your thighs. But when was the last time you had felt something like this? A man willing to pleasure you? That put your needs first?
Sure, Jeff looked absolutely terrifying. But he killed for you. He killed some loser that didn't satisfy you and was now determined to make you cum on his face. Jeff felt your body begin to relax, one of your small hands finding his hair. He groaned into your folds as you grinded against his face. You were doing it. You were giving into him and he didn't even have to threaten you. He curled his fingers inside of you, relishing in the feeling of your gummy walls clinging onto him. You were so much tighter than he could've imagined. You tasted so much sweeter than he could have dreamed. After all of the late nights he spent watching. All of the endless hours he spent at the mansion, jerking his cock and dreaming of this very moment. You were giving into him, moaning his name. Your legs were struggling to stay upright, causing Jeff to manhandle you. He grabbed your legs, lifting them off of the ground and over his shoulders as if you weighed nothing. You were completely reliant on him to stay upright, your heart skipping a beat as all of your weight was on Jeff's face. Jeff didn't have any issue with this, his tongue assaulting your clit as you pulled at his hair.
You couldn't control your unholy noises, the fact a literal corpse was rotting in your house fading away as Jeff devoured you. He was determined to make you cum for him. He needed you to cum for him. He had fantasized of this moment for so long, he couldn't fail. You could feel the cord inside of you tightening, your body betraying any residue of fear that was left. "Jeff," You cried, whimpering as he abused your g spot with his lengthy fingers. The sound of you moaning his name made Jeff's cock grow harder, his own desires catching up with him. He gripped your thigh as you released, whining as you squirted on his face. You gasped, eyes wide and cheeks red with embarrassment. The shower water had now ran cold, goosebumps spreading across your skin. Jeff set you down, abruptly turning off the water. "I'd love to stay and fuck you senseless but, you do have a corpse in your bed," Jeff pointed out. He silently resented himself for killing him first instead of last. "Right," You panted, out of breath. Jeff stepped out of the shower, offering you his hand. "Here's what you're gonna do doll. You're gonna go back in there like nothing happened and call the police. You never saw me. You just went to take a shower and came back to him dead," Jeff instructed. You licked your dry lips, swallowing.
Could you mentally handle seeing a mangled dead body? "W-What if they suspect me?" You stuttered. Jeff chuckled, shaking his head. He pulled his knife out of his hoodie, showing it to you. "I'm taking the murder weapon with me," Jeff explained. You began to feel overwhelmed, tears flooding your waterline. Jeff shushed you lovingly, stroking your cheek again.
"I know it's a lot doll. But don't worry. It's me and you now. Me and you."

pile 1
you might be meeting someone new who brings a fresh perspective or emotional depth into your life; it could be a friend, partner, and/or mentor. this is also a great time to start a new artistic endeavor; painting, writing, or crafting, which will allow you to express yourself in unexpected ways. personal growth can occur through these activities as well as they aid with introspection or therapy, leading to a better understanding of your own feelings and needs. engaging in and/or receiving unexpected acts of kindness that uplift your spirits and encourage you to connect more deeply with others will greatly benefit you this season. receiving and/or giving thoughtful and heartfelt gestures in a romantic relationship will deepen emotional bonds. that being said addressing and healing past emotional wounds is critical, this will lead to a renewed sense of peace and emotional clarity.
there might be a new opportunity for growth in your career/investments. prioritize your self-care and personal well-being this season; perhaps through adopting healthier habits and/or finding more balance in your life. don't shy away from practical advice that will help you manage everyday responsibilities more effectively. you could experience increased productivity in your work and/or personal life; which could be supported by your increased organization and focus this season.
you are likely to find yourself making quick decisions and/or decisively acting to pursue your goals, even if it means facing challenges head-on. make sure you are engaging in stimulating conversations or debates, where sharp thinking and clear communication are crucial. this will help you make the correct decision for you long term. also make sure you are using your logic and analytical skills to cut through confusion and to help you solve problems efficiently. it is time to address conflicts or misunderstandings directly.
pile 2
you may experience unexpected expenses, find it hard to save money, and/or face a temporary loss of income. make budgeting and financial planning your focus starting now. as there could be delays or obstacles in your career, such as a promotion being postponed, a job offer falling through, or feeling unmotivated/uninspired at work. minor health issues or feeling physically drained could arise; you need to pay more attention to your well-being, diet, and/or exercise routines. you may find it difficult to concentrate on tasks which leads to unfinished work and/or feeling scattered. your investments (financial or otherwise) may not yield the expected returns, causing you to rethink where youâre putting your resources (and time) in to. you could be questioning whatâs truly important to you, leading to a shift in how you view success, happiness, and/or stability.
you may feel trapped in a situation (relationship and/or job) without a clear way out. which could lead to frustration or a sense of helplessness because youâre unsure how to move forward. is it the universe or you? it might just be you who is resisting necessary changes; holding onto the familiar out of fear of the unknown (even if itâs not in your best interest). otherwise, instead of taking the time to think things through, you might make hasty decisions that lead to you feeling as sense of regret. you could find yourself holding onto past hurts, grudges, and/or regrets, which prevent you from moving forward with a clear and open mind.
you might feel like youâre not making progress, even though youâve put in a lot of effort. thereâs a sense of being stuck or not being able to move on to the next phase of your life. i feel like it is unresolved issues or "loose ends" that need your attention before you can truly move forward. this could involve past relationships, projects, and/or personal matters that require closure. it may be a struggle to find closure in certain situations, whether itâs ending a relationship, leaving a job, and/or moving on from a past experience. this lack of closure can prevent you from fully embracing new opportunities. there is a sense of disconnection from others and/or from your sense of purpose. there could be a feeling of isolation / lack of harmony in your relationships or within yourself. the time is now to wrap things up or learn better coping mechanisms.
pile 3
you may find yourself managing multiple priorities or projects - prepare yourself mentally for taking more on. life may throw some curveballs your way; you will be required to adapt quickly. go with the flow and handle changes with grace - this will be essential. budgeting and/or managing money might be a key focus for you this season as well. you need to organize your time better to accommodate all of your commitments, both personal and professional.
projects and/or plans that you hoped would move forward might encounter unexpected setbacks. which could lead to frustration and/or a feeling that things are not progressing as you thought they would. you might struggle to see the bigger picture, causing you to hyper-focus on immediate problems and not the long-term. which could pigeon hole you or decrease your opportunities upcoming. now is a good time to re-evaluate your current goals and/or strategies. rethink which direction you want to head to ensure it aligns with your true desires and capabilities. also this season there may be issues with teamwork and/or "your cooperation". misunderstandings and/or a lack of support from others is likely.
otherwise, there is something worth celebration happening for you this season; whether itâs a party, a reunion, or any event that brings your people together. enjoy the company of friends and loved ones - celebrate your achievements and/or special occasions this season. your social circle and friendships are going to be more important than ever this season. you might find yourself relying on your friends for support or just enjoying each others company. reminder: you donât have to go through things alone; there are people who care about you and are willing to help.

Omegaverse Alpha!Chuuya, Dazai, and Ranpo Headcanons
â ïž warnings: 18+ concepts and scenarios, Minors DNI! Omegaverse, GN!reader, mentions of heats and ruts, slick, knots, and sexual/explicit scenarios.
[Fyodor and Nikolai here!]
Chuuya
ARE U READY TO BE THE WORLDâS MOST SPOILED OMEGA??? :D âCAUSE BABY- YOU ARE!!!
Chuuya knows that he can be very absent in your relationship, both physically, mentally, and emotionally. But that doesnât stop him from always trying to make up for it!!! Unlike OTHER ALPHAS-
Chuuya is honestly probably the best Alpha you can have. Heâs very sweet!! He worships you, heâs caring towards your needs, sympathetic to any issues you have, will absolutely spoil the shit out of you, protective in all the right ways, very stable financially â the list goes on and on. However⊠it is extremely hard to break down his walls and actually GET to the point where you two are in a committed relationship. Between his trust issues and being a literal executive for the MAFIA- he isnât the type to fall in love very fast or very easily. He wants to be. He romanticizes love to an extreme; but he cannot bring himself to actually relax and let down his walls in order to experience it. Basically, you gotta fight for this boy, but it is oh so worth it.
I know most people probably think you have to manage dancing around his outbursts and anger issues but honestly? Those are for people who Are Not Youâąïž. You do have to talk him down from crushing the Alphas who mention you in the wrong sort of light to death, however.
They end up dead anyway. Yeah you really kinda have to be morally grey to date this man. And that might be a deal breaker for some. While I see a lot of fics talking him out of the dangerous life of the Port Mafia and having him settle down, I really donât see that as a viable option. One, I firmly believe that Chuuya sees his place in the Port Mafia as one heâs earned, all by himself, without relying on anyone and proving himself worthy. The emotional ties to his job alone make it hard for him to even consider leaving. Two, even with all the danger, Chuuya prides himself on being able to keep you safe despite all of that. You will never be taken. You will never be used. He keeps you close enough so that you are technically protected, but far enough removed that you cannot be a pawn in this sick twisted game that Mori plays. And⊠itâs kinda stable for him. For you. A generous income that leaves you leaves you flush and living lavishly beyond your wildest dreams. He canât give that up. So really, you have to be ok when he ends up having to murder a few people for his job. Not that you would know about it first hand. And heâs never malicious. He has his own moral code that will never be broken.
Heats???? Ruts??? This man will shower you in whatever you want during that time. No matter what, he will always be there for you. Uninterrupted personal time with Chuuya. His Omega always comes first. He is such a generous lover too. Heâll knot you as many times as you wish. Heâll make you breakfast in bed and make sure you hydrate. Loves eating you out until youâre begging for his knot, ass up and face down. Give you all his clothes for the nest you make. Heâs so in tune with his Omega that his ruts will line up with your heats very early on in the relationship, so you might want to invest in child-prevention or otherwise both you and him will be looking at parenthood. đł He wouldnât mind that. Considering how long it would take for you to get to that point⊠but he wouldnât let you know that.
Dazai
Honestly, I love this man ok? He was my first BSD love and heâll always have a place in my heart because of that. But my god. He is an absolute horrible Alpha.
Dazai himself is very guarded. He loves to have an air of nonchalance, but thatâs all it is. An image. He is a fortress of walls that will never truly come down, unlike Chuuya, who eventually lets you in fully. Considering his past and his experiences, being able to break through a few of those will be a victory. Dazai, on the other hand, needs a partner who is okay with never truly knowing his own desires. A partner whoâs ok with always being held at an armâs length, because Dazai feels like if he loves you too much, something bad will happen.
Not only the emotional distance, but a physical one too. Dazai loves to be touchy, but at home, he also needs time to regenerate his own physical stimulation. It might be strange to some that he seems more affectionate and physical in public, but Dazai wants to trust you. He wants to feel comfortable enough to not always be what he feels like he should be. He might come off as cold or even uncaring, but he just needs time, no matter how much he loves you. And trust me, it will pay off.
And we also have to consider his job. Unlike Chuuya, whoâs rather stable in his self-image and work life, Dazai almost is like Ranpo in a sense, where he feels like something bad will happen if heâs not available to ADA at every second of the day. Unlike Ranpo, Dazai cannot shirk these feelings or his duty, even though he basically goes in and does absolutely nothing all day. Mentally, heâs there. Thinking up solutions and plans without speaking a word of it. He needs to be there to get ahead, to minimize casualties, no matter how much Kunikida helps out. There will be many times you spend a heat alone, or Dazai will have to rush out to go to work during one of them.
Buttttt thatâs not to say heâs a selfish lover. He is, in fact, a very, very good one. Not only through experience, but in creating a sort of intimacy that makes you feel like heâs all there. Even if he isnât. Which, again, is sort of shady of him. đ But honestly? His dirty talk is top notch. During the heats that he goes to work, heâll talk you through the time that he isnât there. Much to your embarrassment.
Dazaiâs favorite thing is to feel you clench around his knot. He loves making you so horny that all you can do is beg him to knot you and scream his name or his title. Itâs a moment that he can just forget everything, his past, his current situation, and just be with you. He loves being your Alpha and does wish he could be a better one, but thatâs just not him. 100% keeps a pair of your slick stained panties in his pocket. Disgusting man.
His ruts will take a while to line up with yours. Itâs a combination of both problems â physical and emotional distance. Feeling like he can even sort of trust you will cure that. Heâs super restrained during his ruts though. Even if youâre in a long relationship, the only way you can notice is by his heightened scent, which he loves to blockers to suppress, because heâs stupid like that and feels like it interferes with his investigations (yes and no. itâs not very helpful if someone can smell you a mile away, but itâs also because Dazai likes to keep an air of mystery AND distance between any sort of work and personal life, in his own strange way. Stops taking them if it helps create a connection he can use) and the fact he just randomly wants to knot you at all times of the day. He doesnât even seem that serious about it though â just like âoh! popped a knot in you! sorry!â and does that 10 more times until you catch on.
âDazai⊠are you in rut???â ââŠyeah.â absolutely ridiculous mind game for no reason other than itâs Dazai.
Seriously, if this man is your Alpha, Iâm sorry. He makes you jealous accidentally a lot because he has Omegas fawning over him, that he gives crumbles of attention for validation, but his secretly super possessive and HATES when it happens to you. Seriously. One Alpha hits on you and suddenly youâre covered in hickies and claim marks, rubbed so hard with his scent it almost stinks and you canât get it out with ANY SORT of laundry detergent.
Ranpo
again, if this man is your Alpha, Iâm sorry. I am actually less sorry than if Dazai is your Alpha but Iâm still sorry.
Ranpo is childish. He has absolutely 0 clue on how to be a proper Alpha, despite Fukuzawa trying to teach him, but unlike someone like Kunikida or Sigma, has probably little to no desire to learn. That isnât entirely true, especially with how earnest Ranpo is to want to learn with you, but honestly, he gives up very quickly.
He can be very selfish with his pleasure, but thatâs mostly to your gain, to be honest. At least you have 0 emotional hangups when it comes to Ranpo. đ€·ââïž thatâs all I can say.
He also has 0 embarrassment. He will fully scent you, partially undressing you to get to what he wants, like a breastfeeding CHILD, in the middle of the office. If you smack him away, heâll be fully confused. Like âwhaaaaat? Iâm your Alpha. Iâm supposed to do this.â NOT HERE, IDIOT.
Mouths your neck and your scent gland whenever too. Like just leans over in meetings to do so. You, as his Omega, almost have to leash him, your Alpha. Itâs a bit of an unusual dynamic, but fits perfectly to Ranpo.
He will end up growing up a bit when he enters a relationship with you; however, that will take a lot of time. Your relationship probably starts off really casually too. Ranpo will most likely just offhandedly ask you on an outing, then heâs considering you his significant other, his omega, without it ever truly being discussed. âIt wasnât obvious? Why would I ask you out if I didnât want to be with you?â Please teach him how to properly enter a relationship. Or at least discuss with him the standards of dating. Fukuzawa will give you a bonus. Just please.
Now, itâs very widely accepted that Ranpo is autistic/aspergerâs syndrome, and I headcanon him as that as well so a little on that from another Aspie!!! Ranpo doesnât always catch on to what is and isnât socially acceptable. He has a tendency to sometimes be sexual in times that arenât always the best, but if you tell him nicely, heâll understand and back down. Usually with a nod and taking mental notes. You need to be very verbal with this man because he will not catch on in any sort of way. If you want a gift, ask him for it! If you want time alone, ask him. Seriously. You need to tell him or heâll just keep doing his little routine.
He has stimulation problems. You might need to carry around headphones or some sort of fidget toy because he sometimes gets overwhelmed in public by all the information heâs taking in. Heâs used to it, but that doesnât make it better. If you let him sit on the couch with a weighted blanket and just sit with him in silence on the other side, he will eventually jump your ass after a while and cuddle up under your arm. He will probably not leave your side for the rest of the day, refusing to talk to anyone but you.
His libido is finicky, it jumps between hyper sexuality and almost completely disappearing, even if he wants to pleasure you. His ruts show that. Unlike most Alphas, they arenât always timely, and show up randomly. It makes it hard for your heats to line up with his ruts. They rarely line up, and sometimes when youâre in heat Ranpo is completely disinterested and would rather be working on a case. Early on, he most likely will ignore you and them, not out of animosity or a lack of care, but just because heâs really not used to being in a relationship. If you give it time and practice, certainly after expressing your need, Ranpo will take care of you through them. Whether itâs eating you out or knotting you properly. He can finger you with one hand while working on his phone or laptop with the other, a skill he didnât even know he had.
His ruts on the other hand⊠heâs very needy. You will have to call out of work for a week or two. He wants to be touching you at all times. Donât expect to leave the bed at all. Actually, just plan on being on his knot the whole time. If you have to get up, even for a drink of water, expect him to be right there behind you, arms clasped around your waist, begging for you to come back to bed. His scent gets so heavy. He just wants to be comfortable and the only way he feels comfortable is with you. You might need additional call out days for how weak your legs will be afterwards.
Ranpo is apologetic though and will bring you painkillers or a heating pad. You probably could talk him into a massage every now and then. He knows how much you give to him, and struggles with sometimes feeling like your relationship is one sided. It is, in a way, but Ranpo gives back tenfold with how absolutely pure his love is for you. Heâs loyal and will never entertain any sort of attention from any other Omega. He shares all his snacks and candy with you and tries to show you his love in little ways, like remembering your favorite flavors or something you mentioned you liked.
Ranpo isnât the best Alpha, but he is a good soul. He tries and though he has his struggles, he really is there for his (and your!) best interests at heart.
Praise him. Praise him during his rut and you will be there for another week. It drives it crazy and ends up lengthening it for an extended amount of time.

WRONG.
Try again.
Actually let's get into this. As someone who loves a great many fantasy RPGs including BG3, Skyrim, and Dragon Age, let me explain what BG3 gets that Skyrim misses, in my opinion.
And this is the big one: the characters in BG3 feel like real fucking people. They have backstories, demonstrable feelings about the events and the other characters, they react to the things you do and they develop as people as you further your relationships. Even minor NPCs often feel fleshed out with distinct personalities and opinions. Hell, going out of my way to cast Speak to Animals is usually rewarded with at least one charming remark. I have never given even a little bit of a shit about 99% of Bethesda NPCs. I usually choose to travel without a companion rather than with unless I need a pack mule to carry my stuff, because their primary function seems to be to get in my way, set off traps, or attract aggro. I can't remember most characters' names unless I'm actively playing. I'm more likely to casually murder people in Skyrim than I am in BG3 or DA because Bethesda hasn't really made any of their NPCs feel like real people, and consequentially I feel no guilt. By comparison I tried to do an evil run of DA:O and gave up the instant I had to kill Wynne (the grandmotherly spirit healer) when she refused to let me go through with my plans, because I hated doing it. Lydia will watch me gut an innocent man and do NOTHING because she has no life, existence, or personality outside of me, the player. This extends to romances, obviously. While optional in all the games, most people will pursue a romance path in BG3 or DA for the additional character arcs it brings to the characters, the emotional nuances they unlock. In Skyrim romance is a box you tick of tasks to complete. In fact, once you marry them, most marriage candidates personalities change *completely* because all spouses have the same few stock dialog lines. That is, if they had a personality to begin with (again, see Lydia). You know how everyone wants to romance unromanceable characters in Bethesda games? Like Brynjolf in Skyrim, or Nick Valentine in FO4? It's because Bethesda actually bothered to give them stories and opinions.
Honestly, this extends to the player character themselves. To a certain extent every player character is a blank slate, but in BG3 and DA it at least feels possible to develop a feeling about who that character is and what they would or would not say or do. I've tried to do that with the Dragonborn and rarely feel strong feelings about them or have strong opinions about what kind of person they are. The only one I've made who I have much of an idea about is my wood elf Parafina, who is Chaotic Evil. Which again is an option I only pick because no one in Skyrim feels real.
The stakes also feel more real in BG3, more personal. Obviously there's the central quest involving the tadpoles, but more than that, it is about a credible threat to your world and the people and communities in it and the people you love. There are tons of reasons to invest yourself emotionally in the narrative. I have never, ever completed the main storyline in Skyrim nor picked a side in Skyrim's civil war. Why would it? Basically nothing happens if I choose not to. Furthermore, if you're not playing as a Nord (which I usually don't), why would you care about Skyrim as a place? You are a faceless, voiceless (pun intended) outsider who gets microaggressed at every turn being asked to choose between two different flavors of fascist. Also dragons are back but like... listen, I don't care? They get pretty easy to pick off at a certain point, it's like swatting flies, they're just a nuisance on the way to my daily errands. And isn't that such a common story? Don't you know so many people who don't really bother with the main storylines of Skyrim? Yeah it's one of the bestselling games of all time but I feel like the fact that most people don't really care about its narrative should be a sign of failure. We all know it's mostly maintained its popularity due to the modding community.
Ultimately both games have rich worlds which reward exploration with little secrets and environmental storytelling. But BG3 feels more "meaningful" because they give me reasons to care about what happens. The writers worked hard to give the game emotional resonance. So I come to the two games for different experiences. I go to BG3 to engage with an interesting story. I go to Skyrim for the quick serotonin hit of completing tasks and hoarding items.
#bg3#baldur's gate 3#skyrim#skyrim critical#with all the love in my heart mind you#i was considering not tagging this tbh

the ideal career for you
from left to right; intuitively choose the pile you feel more connected to. To make it easier, you can take a deep breathe, close your eyes and ask for guidance to your deities or guides. These are all general messages, so just take what resonates and leave what doesn't. This reading is timeless. If it resonates, feedback is always appreciated and motivates to keep doing pick a card readings. You can donate here.
divider: @animatedglittergraphics-n-more
pile 1
the moon, 7 of wands, ten of cups
this pile includes 18+ themes, so please skip over it if you are under 18. You can pick other pile.
with this pile, I'm getting a lot of possible careers coming through. I feel like many of you might end up working in careers that require you to work at night or until night. However, I do also see that some type of fame and recognition is very possible here and that you will keep this air of mystery, regardless of how famous and known you are. Some people reading this pile might even have more than one career from these options throughout their lives or even change it up a bit later on in life when you are more stable, looking forward to the field that truly makes you happy and fulfilled.
Now, some of you this indicates jobs in public eye. Some of you will be entertainers and bring joy to others. This can mean being an actor, singer, artist, musician, a comedian, a dancer or even could mean being an illusionist, working at the circus or at the entertainment part of hotels and touristic areas.
This might be especially true if you have leo and 9th house placements, if you love to sing, if you like to dye your hair or paint your nails. It might also resonate if your initials are C, K or M. Some of you who like to wear bold eyeliners can also resonate with this.
For some of you, I feel like you might end up becoming strippers (and yes this includes some men reading this) and get even some popularity from this. While this is sex work, keep in mind it still is counted as entertainment by many. Alternatively, you could go into burlesque/cabaret or similar things. Later on, for some of you, I do see a career change into something new you'll fall in love with but this will keep you afloat for a long time and many of you will enjoy it, especially due to the money. Others will make enough money to retire early or even leave early and just invest and live life. Now please, keep in mind that for those of you in this field, it is important for you to keep yourself safe and work in regulated spaces.
This could especially resonate for you if you have a couple tattoos, that know how to belly dance, that like smoothies, that have curly hair, that wear glasses/contacts, that love working out or go on shopping sprees. If you have a tongue piercing, it could also be a sign it resonates. Extra confirmation of any of you are aquarius, leo or virgo, especially with moon in scorpio or moon in capricorn.
Alternatively, some of you could end up working as dj's at clubs, bartenders or even bodyguards. This seems like it will actually help you meet a lot of people, make connections and network. I see some people even managing or owning nightclubs/bars later in life. The same could go for motels/hotels, although the sexual theme is being compelled here, so I think a motel seems somewhat likely for those of you this resonates with.
I feel like for some of you, you might become teachers/professors who give night lectures at universities or even to bigger audiences in important conferences. I feel like your input in your field will be extremely important. For those who will follow this teaching path, I feel like you will either be a political science, sociology, sexology or arts/entertainment teacher. And some of you could even end up having some minor career in politicians (like being a deputy/congress person in a parliament).
I feel like this one can apply for everyone in this group, so there is a chance any of you do end up doing this later in life out of passion.
For those of you thinking of going into investing into property or in general, I feel like this will go extremely well for you. Again you might invest in nightclubs/motels like i mentioned or even in rehabilitating older houses in usually less appealing neighborhoods, giving it a new life and appreciation and increasing thr value and safety of the area. If you want to invest in stocks instead, definitely invest in things related to the topics above. For some of you, I heard "invest in HIV research" so pick medicine companies that are working on researching it and creating cures/treatments. I'm also getting a special warning to not invest into crypto/nfts if you pick this pile.
pile 2
7 of pentacles; Tower; 3 of wands; Queen of Cups
I'm getting that some of you might get a career that has a long path to go through and that might include having a lot of patience. I feel like this could indicate some of you will have to study a lot and spend years and thousands on education to get this career, which leads me to think some of you are becoming doctors or medical practitioners. Alternatively, you could be in a career that will require you to start with low paying entry level jobs, but that will take you to the top positions that will be extremely well paid. I see that for some, this could also indicate having to go through an unpaid or lowly paid internship in order to make your way into the field or being in a job that doesn't pay you well and overworks you before switching to a better one.
For some of you, this wait in order to collect the seeds of your labour can be literal as in becoming a gardener, a farmer or even similar jobs in agricultural management or even owning a flower shop. This could, in a few cases, also involve baking and cooking and all the time that can go into it.
There are a group of you that this wait refers to working on your psychic and intuitive abilities as well as on your spiritual knowledge to the point of mastery and make a career out of it.
Like I mentioned before, I do see many healers, doctors and medics coming out of this pile, psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists are also coming in strong. Some might also go into traditional medicine and hollistic practices, maybe even reiki, energy work or medical astrology. I see that checking your 12th house or pisces placements either on your solar chart or on your midheaven persona chart can help you confirm this information.
Those of you that are thinking about going into therapy and psychology are being recommended to look into specializing in anger management and conflict resolution, so possibly something like family and couple therapy.
There could also be some of you that create youtube channels/instagram pages to help others with your knowledge and tips.
A small percentage of you might end up becoming a military medic/doctor/nurse as well, specializing in helping wounded soldiers. On the same note, a military cook is also possible.
It is also very important to note for everyone who picked this pile that your career might cause you emotional overwhelm or pressure, so always be sure to protect your energy and not allow yourself to be too drained.
This strong energy also takes me to believe some of you will be writers or artists, which also makes sense for the time aspect of this reading, as making art or writing can be time consuming. Some of you could even become freelancers or start creative industry enterprises/businesses.
These are just extra confirmations, so if nothing of these signs match you, it doesn't mean the pile is wrong for you.
This could resonate especially if you've recently watched a documentary or movie touching on the subjects of oppression, if you're in university or if you have been to university and if you have ever worked a waiter/public service job. If you enjoy stuff like Silent Hill and Red Dead Redemption, this could also resonate with you. Same if you like purple and blue or are wearing either. Extra confirmation if you're a taurus, gemini, aries or capricorn. Also if you specifically have a libra venus in either tropical or vedic.
pile 3
Lovers, Death, Star, Tower, Four of Pentacles
This pile has a brief mention of de*th and s**cide, so if you're very sensitive to those topics, please avoid this pile.
With the number of major arcanas here, I feel like whatever career you end up picking, you will have an important role in the area and maybe do something very groundbreaking in it. You'll be essential in your job/career and could even change the world in a way with it. No matter how small of a change it is, it will still be impactful.
The career will involve other people or at least one more person to some degree, this could be either a business/work partner or work involving clients or the public.
I'm getting two main groups here. One group will be focusing on healing and some type of therapy, especifically involving death. So this could be councilling focused on helping disaster survivors or grief therapy to help people who lost their loved ones or witnessed traumatic deaths. You will essentially be very important to help them move on and find themselves again. Because the Star can be related to peace, being true to one self and healing, you will definitely help people heal and find their peace and meaning in life again. For some of you, you could also help people who attempted suicide or have suicidal tendencies, helping them to work through this. You will help people who have lost everything and you'll help them rebuild their lives back up with healthier and better foundations, allowing them to feel more secure and in control of themselves and their lives.
For the other group, I feel like your work will be focusing more on creative industries. This could be publishing and marketing for some, however I feel like many of you will embark on music and acting careers, which will help many people also heal and have healthy coping mechanisms.
I feel like your music or your acting (mainly acting) will allow you to become separate from yourself for a moment by wearing another persona and putting yourself in someone else's shoes, but also will allow you to explore different aspects of yourself, giving you a deeper understanding of yourself and others. For some, this could be a musical theatre career. If not, you could become a music composer for movies and shows or even a music producer.
I'm also seeing some of you will be a play writer or a movie writer/director. I feel like there might be moments of your career you won't feel as valued, but rest assured there will be millions loving your work. You might also have extremely innovative ideas for the field and do things, create storylines no one has ever really seen before. You could even create a new genre of cinema or a new wave/style of film.
For a smaller percentage of you, I'm also seeing that you might be doing something money/management related, so an investor or establishing a new business/company that might help people around the world.
Extra confirmation if you like rock n' roll or watched an Elvis Presley movie/documentary or read a tweet about him recently. If you consume true crime, especially from the 80's, if you enjoy the aesthetic of the circus. It might also resonate if you listen to Britney and/or Mariah or if your favorite color is red. If you like high heels, especially louboutins, or enjoy using red/dark lipsticks, or shaved your legs in the previous 3 days, this is also extra confirmation for you. Could also apply if you're a scorpio, sagittarius or pisces.

Open House (Yandere House x Reader)
When people say the housing market is a nightmare, is this what they had in mind? (The story goes out to me because Iâm trying to get an apartment and it is Suffering. Please pretend this count as yandere.)
CW: not proofread, unconventional captivity, swearing, I accidentally had too much fun writing Abby and forgot the point of the story-
Minors DNI
When you proudly had reached the saving milestone to buy a small house in the countryside, you had opted to spend some of that money on a real estate agent, figuring it was a good investment, hiring a Ms. Abby Bardot â who, over the phone, had insisted heavily on being called Abby rather than Ms. Bardot â who had twenty years of experience in the field.
Quite quickly, you realized that perhaps she wasnât the most conventional real estate agent.
Ms. Abby, you quickly noticed at your first meeting, was all hand-wringing and nervous sweating, though she seemed sweet enough, having clutched a tin of home-cooked cookies in all shades of black and almost-not-black, and had heartily insisted youâd take as many as youâd like (which was zero).
She had insisted on bringing you to an open house for what she had called a hidden gem of a house, that it would be a private tour. To you, once she mentioned it would be at 1 p.m., it was quite obvious that âprivate tourâ meant, âno one else has or will be showing upâ.
Ms. Abby had also enthusiastically shown pictures of the place, pictures she had ready-at-the-go on her phone, presumably she really needed a buyer for the house.
âMs. Abby.â You had said, interrupted with a small interjection of, Oh please, just Abby. âMs. Abby, thatâs not quite a house and more so a small manor. I went over my budget with you when I hired you.â Ms. Abby had quickly recovered from the rejection and puffed out her chest proudly.
âWhy thatâs the best part, this is within your budget!â
You had sent her a dubious look at this. âAre the pictures⊠How do I put this delicately? Are the pictures recent and unedited?â
Ms. Abby deflated so quickly that it almost felt impressive, almost urging you to clap as if it was a circus performance. Of course, it felt mean had you clapped at her dejected look.
âItâs well-kept, I assure you. These pictures are all recent, Iâve updated them every year for almost my entire career!â She said proudly, and you almost felt pity at the fact she didnât seem to realize her own slip-up but instead paraded it around like a badge of honor.
Though, all-in-all you were charmed, and somewhat endeared, by the honesty. But not very much by the house at all. âI think Iâd like to look at other options, itâs awfully big for just one person.â
âAh, wait!â Ms. Abby said urgently. âPlease, before we continue with other options, letâs first try out the open house this Friday.â
âIs this protocol, Ms. Abby?â Ms. Abbyâs lips wobbled at this and⊠âAre you crying?!â
âNo, Iâm a professional. Real Estate Agents donât cry, Iâm simply sweating, is all.â Ms. Abby sniffled, dubbing her eyes with a handkerchief, presumably you were meant to believe her eyes were suffering heat stroke on this fine autumn day.
ââŠAlright, Iâll go to the open house. Just give me the address.â You eventually relented, if only to avoid seeing the pitiful sight of a teary-eyed Ms. Abby.
Thatâs how you ended up before a grand house out in the middle of nowhere, the closest town was an hour-long drive away. Forest and fields were most of the surroundings, which was why the house was in such stark contrast, standing as a sole presence, the forests and fields shying away to make room for it, leaving a vast vacancy around it, stretching on for at least fifty meters.
It really was a pristine house, when comparing it to the pictures, it seemed to match right down to the placement of every rock and plant in sight. As if someone had consciously placed each leaf and pebble.
The plants and trees of the garden donned vibrant colors despite the season. You wondered how often Ms. Abby came by, or if she had hired a crew for maintenance, as you could not spot even the slightest hint of dirt or spiderwebs.
The only thing that looked aged was, unfortunately, the âFor Saleâ sign.
It felt a little unnatural, but you chalked it up to currently being a display house, and thus not lived-in either. You took notice of the way the trees beyond the reach of the garden were withered and wrinkled, and the grass yellowy, dry patches, barely hiding the dirt beneath.
âSome more forest could really do this place some good.â You mumbled. You hesitated for reasons you didnât fully understand before stepping beyond dead plants clinging loosely to your feet and entering the garden.
You felt a prickling sensation behind your eyes the further you traveled, the door felt so far when the weight of something cloyingly attentive seemed to drag you down as if to prevent your advances.
âYouâre here!â A delighted Ms. Abby yelled out before the sound of pitter-patter was interrupted by a loud thud against the door that rattled the frame. With her energy dampened, a sheepish Ms. Abby appeared behind the front door, simply saying; âIt opens the other way.â
Right, something attentive could only have been the attention of the overzealous Ms. Abby.
âCome in, come in!â She invited, all but pulling you stumbling into a most decadently, lavishly decorated foyer. From distasteful stuffed animal heads to the ruby red furniture and mosaic glass tables, it felt quite uncomfortable, all sharp angles and very little homeliness to it, like an ornate display of wealth rather than a welcome into a household.
âNot very welcoming, huh?â You commented, which Ms. Abby elected not to respond to, though the small âeepâ suggested she had heard the negative impression.
Looking the room over it was impossible for your eyes not to rest at the centerpiece of the foyer: A huge painting above the staircase. A solemn-looking guy stared out into the air, curly locks framing his face. Old paintings always looked miserable, yet you couldnât help but feel there was a glint of genuine misery in his eyes. Noticing your attention had wandered, Ms. Abby followed your eyes.
âOh, that was an owner of the house who had it commissioned back during the Renaissance, they wanted it right here, in the heart of the house.â She explained though you couldnât say you agreed to a decadent foyer being the heart of a house, and if it was, that wasnât boding well for Ms. Abbyâs already poor sales chances.
âIâve never understood why someone would want to pay money to look miserable in a painting, like youâre paying for it, at least make yourself smile or something.â Your jab was met with Ms. Abbyâs impressive ability to carry on like you had said nothing negative at all.
âYou know, the owner claimed it was a Jan van Eyck-original too.â Ms. Abby said as if letting you in on a secret, or town gossip. âReally, weâve had it appraised.â
âAnd the appraiser confirmed it was a Jan van-whatever original?â
ââŠThe owner really loved art; youâll see plenty of paintings throughout the place.â
So that was a no. And speaking of noâs:
âListen, Ms. Abby, I donât exactly have the budget for a big house, as I already said. I especially donât have the kind of budget that the kind of person whoâd commission an artist to paint them for their foyer would have.â
Abby laughed nervously. âWell, you see, the valueâs dropped as I mentioned. We havenât been able to sell it for a long time, so the price just kept falling.â
âRight. But even so, it canât have fallen that much.â
At this, Abby avoided eye contact, wringing her hands before, after a big breath, blurting it out. âThe person in the painting was the last person to own the house.â
âŠ
âIs this place built on top of an oilfield or something?â
Ms. Abby laughed a hearty if a bit shrill, laughter, before sighing and mumbling. âIf only.â She clapped. âBut! This is a charming house, why, let me show you the many rooms!â
âMs. Abby, have you ever considered a field outside of sale?â You asked dryly but nonetheless followed along, eager to leave behind the painting, as you felt watched. The house consisted of many sprawling hallways, enough to almost make one dizzy, and you struggled to remember where everything was.
The house had many rooms, none of them particularly inviting, reading more like a historical display room lacking any warmth or heart (and perhaps even worse, any semblance of renovation despite old age), and all absolutely clustered with trinkets, knickknacks, and in the case of the walls, paintings â leaving very little free space.
It really did read like a historical display, as some rooms seemed older than others, suggesting partial renovation must have been done on some of the rooms. Youâd like a word with whoever had been in charge of that lackluster, nonsensical effort.
Perhaps the lack of replaced furniture or renovation was why the house periodically seemed to creak and moan in odd ways, at times you almost confused it as Ms. Abby groaning or sighing, only to realize it was the sound of the house itself.
As for Ms. Abby, she remained undeterred regardless of how many snide remarks you made, which you had to commend her for, though the charm you initially had felt from it was quickly wearing off. Ms. Abby actually seemed increasingly happy, humming to herself. She didnât think the sale was going well, did she?
âHow much of the house is there left to see, Ms. Abby?â You asked, increasingly impatient and tired, having been dragged through an unreasonable number of rooms, which inexplicably, almost all were bedrooms (and yet, you had yet to see more than a single bathroom).
âWell, weâre still missing a couple rooms like the kitchen, oh! I know, how about the master bedroom since youâll be spending every night there.â She said with a beaming smile.
âThatâs awfully optimistic, Ms. Abby.â You noted, at this you received a good-hearted chuckle.
âOh, this place is too lovely to pass up on, I think it likes you â itâs a match made in heaven. If you donât like some of the features or decorations, itâs easy to change those, so it would be a waste not to live here.â
âI canât imagine a house as empty as this holding much affection, and Iâm not up for a big project.â All you wanted was a small but cozy house, a simple place. You felt exhausted just thinking about the amount of work youâd need to pour into a house like this to make it feel like home.
âWell, itâs perhaps not an easy house,â Ms. Abby admitted, her cheer at this point an unshakeable force, as a sense of confidence seemed to have sprouted in her. âBut thatâs why when that rare fit comes by one must take the leap and hold onto it.â
Youâd feel insulted by the suggestion you were a good fit for this distasteful and unpleasant house, had Ms. Abby not already shown herself as incompetent but well-meaning. You simply sighed, giving up the conversation, figuring youâd find another real estate agent when you came home.
âWell, take me to the master bedroom then.â
Ms. Abby led you through the foyer again, the bedroom apparently at the other end of the house. Your eyes were drawn to the painting once more, its eyes felt more sunken in than before, shadows forming beneath, to which you tiredly sighed. âMe too, buddy. Me too.â
The master bedroom seemed to be at the stopping point to the sprawling hallways on the right. You were just aghast at the fact you had gone through another set of sprawling hallways, you wondered who had come up with the confusing layout of the place.
Ms. Abby tried to imitate a trumpet to build up suspense but trailed off after you shot her an impatient look. After a weak cough, she simply said âTadaahâ and opened the door.
You stopped up, your right foot hanging in the air, about to cross into the room. A sense of foreboding filled you; it was a bit different from the first time, however. The prickling sensation you felt and the cloying attention, it felt smothering, less like a shove away and more like⊠Being held in place.
Ms. Abby waited patiently inside the room, not commenting on your hesitation, though you had been snarky and displeased the entire tour, so perhaps this just seemed like more of that. You swallowed and ignored the pressure as you put your foot down and entered the room.
The air felt different here. You had hoped the odd sensation would disappear if you just carried on, like when you entered the house, to begin with, instead, it worsened. The air clung to you, terribly heavy and sticky. It took you a moment to actually focus enough to realize Ms. Abby had spoken, so when you finally snapped back to reality, Ms. Abby was standing in the hallway.
â-tively spellbound already. Iâll give you some time to look around and get acquainted together, one-on-one.â And then she closed the door in your face. The room was, oddly empty, compared to every other room. Nothing but a big, red bed, the empty walls that you couldâve sworn were further away when you entered, and that feeling of being watched, lodging into your skin like stitching.
Nothing except an almost empty room that didnât feel empty enough.
Thatâs it. Ms. Abby had officially used up all her pity points, you were leaving. You opened the door, a tad more aggressively than what was perhaps called for, but Ms. Abby was nowhere to be seen in the hallway.
For how annoyed you were with her at this point, you found that you missed her company as you walked down the hallway, nothing distracting you from the odd sounds of the house that seemed to have increased. It felt as if the floor beneath your feet moved and rumbled slightly, the velvety carpets uneven and bumpy, as if walking on something breathing, something living.
You wished that Ms. Abby had given you the floor plans, as you struggled to remember how to return to the foyer through the hallways and occasional rooms you had to cross seemed to hold no real rhythm and didnât feel as if it obeyed any rules about directions.
At one point you could have sworn you turned back, only to be in another room than where you had emerged from originally. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, you found the foyer again. Even in your rush to find the door, your eyes were drawn to the painting, though you continued to rush by it. In your haste, it almost looked as if the paintingâs colors were smudged.
You attempted to open the door but found it didnât budge. It was an odd choice to lock the door, but you were certain that was the reason, it had to be. A locked door was no issue from the inside, but even after hearing the click of the lock, the door didnât budge when you attempted to open it.
You attempted to kick, pry, tear, and even throw your body weight at the door, but with no luck.
Settling in the foyer after your final attempt at prying the front door open, you huffed, out of breath. You laid on the stairs, trying to settle your heart and pulse, when your eyes landed on the painting again.
âŠYou rubbed your eyes and sat up, thinking what you had seen was owed to your tiredness and the upside-down angle, but no. The painting really did look smudged. Like someone had blurred colors and borders together, the hairâs vibrant color having lost its radiance.
And the mouth, it was oddly smudged between the lips, that it almost gave the impression of a mouth being pried open.
âŠ
No, that was silly, you were being silly. The painting was smudged out, which was already creepy enough on its own, or rather, the house was already creepy enough on its own â your mind was just working overtime and was making up new things to get scared over.
âWell brain, if you like overtime, I guess Iâll have to put you to use and think of an escape. But you donât have a union, so itâs unpaid hours for you, Iâm afraid.â
If the front door was a bust, then youâd find a window. You struggled to recall any windows on the ground floor, but surely there had to be some. Or⊠Thatâs right! The kitchen, it had a glass door. You never got around to seeing the kitchen, having mainly been shown the upstairs so far, but you recalled Ms. Abby mentioning it back when she had given her pitch for why you should show up.
You hadnât been on the left side of the house, at least not on the ground floor, so you figured that was a good direction to begin, in your search for the kitchen. You opened the door, urgency in your steps, only to find you werenât in an unfamiliar room.
Instead, you were back in the empty master bedroom, which somehow felt much more crammed than any of the other rooms. But⊠That didnât make sense. The master bedroom was upstairs, you had fought through a confusing hallway to find the foyer, so this⊠this didnât make sense at all.
The air felt oppressive in the room as if your heart would be forced to a halt from the sheer weight of it, like a physical presence. This time you were sure that the walls were closer than they had been before. A bed table had been added next to the bed, and the part of you still delusional enough to hope thought maybe it meant that Ms. Abby was still around. As if this was an elaborate prank.
You tried to swallow despite how dry your mouth felt, your heart hammering painfully against your chest. This was ridiculous. You slammed the door open again, the door shaking on its hinges. Beyond the door, it revealed a hallway, but even if the hallway was confusing, you had been through it twice by now, you could do this, you could find the kitchen or a ground-floor window.
Hurrying along the hallway, it felt as if the floor and walls shifted and moved. Were you dizzy, or was this actually happening? The restrictive air of the master bedroom followed you, as you dragged yourself through.
âHuh?â you furrowed your eyebrows when you opened one of the doors. You were sure this was the one you had gone through before, but the room behind was unfamiliar. Cold dread filled you as a horrible thought crossed your mind.
No, no, no. You ran to the next door but behind it was another unfamiliar room. Were the layout⊠Changing? Your hand trembled as you tried to open a third door, and you felt like crying when all it revealed was the master bedroom again.
A lamp now stood on top of the bed table. Were new things going to be added each time you returned to the room? You thought back to the cramped bedrooms Ms. Abby had so cheerfully shown off. You werenât sure what to make of it but felt sick all the same.
âI donât have time for this.â You had to snap yourself out of it. You could spiral and panic later, but for now, you needed to get out. So, turning on your heel, you returned to the hallway. Youâd go through each door that didnât lead to the master bedroom, hoping to somehow find your way downstairs.
You almost cheered audibly when you finally saw the staircase, rushing to it. Once again, as you passed it, your eyes were drawn to the painting.
The painting no longer looked the same as before, the person it had been long erased by smudged and changing lines. You couldnât tell what it was changing into but felt your heart race with familiarity all the same.
The mouth was a gaping hole by now, outstretched awkwardly. You thought it might have been a smile, but it looked much more like a pained grimace to you.
You only took this as further encouragement to get out of there.
When you failed to find anything of use, you realized there was one room that you seemed to always find. So, as counterintuitive as it seemed, you walked upstairs again, and as confusing as the changing layout was, it didnât take you long to find it.
You saw the familiar bed, the bed table, the lamp, and the newly added clock on the wall (which didnât seem to be working) and closed your eyes for a moment. You took a deep breath. And then you decisively walked in to grab the lamp, shivering a bit as you brushed against a much-too-warm wall.
If you couldnât find the kitchen or a window on the ground floor, then fuck it, youâd find one up here. Whatever broken bones or bruises youâd get from the fall, youâd accept. Finding a window upstairs proved much more doable, as one would line the walls every now and then.
You threw the lamp against the window and braced yourself for impact.
But nothing happened.
The lamp fell to the floor with a hollow thud. When you opened your eyes, you found not a single scratch on the window. So, you tried again. And again. You tried punching the window, earning nothing but a stinging fist.
Yet you continued. At some point, it became more of a tantrum, an expression of your desperation colored in violence, than an attempt to escape. Hitting the window, kicking the wall. âWhy-â you hated this house. You hated it. Hated, hated, hated it. You just wanted to leave. Your ears rang, whether it was from your headache, or the way the houseâs groans and creaks had grown in severity, you didnât know, didnât care, couldnât care.
Already unsteady on your feet, your final kick caused you to lose balance entirely.
Stumbling and falling onto the floor, without realizing it, you found yourself by the stairs, and face to face with the painting. Your blood ran cold as you stared into your own lifeless eyes staring down at you from above.
Â
Quiet had fallen over the house like a blanket, only the slow rumble throughout the house bellied any activity. In the heart of the house rested a painting, donning a toothy smile and a certain glint in their eyes.
A satisfied Ms. Abby removed the âFor Saleâ sign out front and drove away with a hum.

Placements For Romantic Archetypes Pt.1: Accidental Playboy (18+ Only)
*Adults only! Minors dni
*just based on my experiences, only takes what resonates
Someone whose usually monogamous that has dated/hooked up with a lot of their friends and stays friends with their exes. They just have a lot of attachments and a lot of love to give ! This may be a phase for most of them (if theyâre developed) and they tend to settle down with one person whenever they find their twin flame.
***
-Cancer Venus: just a lot of affection for the people they hang out with, if youâre in their circle they can feel a lot for you and depending on their other placements this can turn into hooking up with their friends. They also donât really let go of relationships, this placement is most likely to stay friends with their exes as well imo. They also tend to do anything to make their friends/significant others happy which is very sweet âŠbut can lead to some awkwardness on occasion. (Like I knew someone that had a ex turned friend and she would like show him her lewds before she sent them to guys she was asking out and he was like yeah weâre just friends! He stopped that in a relationship, but then she said that they wouldâve ended up together when she broke up with someone she was seeing and he was like oblivious and just said haha no, that was only the tip of the iceberg, I was like dude get a boundary.)
-Venus in 11th: A tendency to only get intimately involved with people after theyâve become good friends anyway. Also a tendency to hold onto all their friendships if they can. Can create a like web of attachments, of friends and old flames.
-Cancer Mars & Earth/Air Moon: Needing to be emotionally drawn to someone in order to find them s*xy and hookup⊠but also this like detachment underneath that. Like a deep amount of emotional investment and fixation but also like being pretty emotionally removed behind it all. So a tendency to pursue like friendships with objects of desire but not too much behind that (not that thereâs anything wrong with that, it can just quickly turn into a string of affairs)
-Virgo Mars: This placement usually acts in their relationships through acts of service to express their commitment and affection. Due to Virgo being mutable, Iâve found that theyâll often have a more flexible approach to how they handle their relationships. Like Iâve just seen a lot of Virgo mars natives that would perform acts of service for current and ex partners because of how helpful they want to be to everyone. (Not necessarily a bad thing but a little messy if youâre in a relationship and doing favors for your exes). Lots of checking up in on people and trying to help manage them that can turn into them hooking up in order to be âhelpfulâ (especially after theyâre emotionally involved)
-Sagittarius Venus/Mars: just a placement with a lot of abundance, so they tend to date around and explore with many options. Depends on the other placements with how they handle this, (I find fire signs to be more up front about it, but they catch feelings like water signs) but they tend to want to move through relationships on as best of terms as they can.
-Libra Sun: kind of a stereotype due to Libraâs indecisive nature and how because theyâre viewed as typically being attractive and charming, due to Venus they tend to draw people into them. I also believe that Libras donât like to be on anyoneâs sh*t list, so like they may hookup and date around and try to do a lot of work on the back end to make sure their past relationships still view them in a positive way⊠and sometimes they may reopen that door to see if they can reconnect to an old flame. (When they find their other half they wonât really do this anymore, but they charm everyone into thinking theyâre the one so it can be hard to tell when they really feel this way imo, the moon sign would help with this)
-Leo Sun: This may not be true for every Leo out there, but they usually have a phase of really basking in all of the attention they pull in. (Leo in the big 6 tends to show someone who goes through a period of being ignored or not receiving enough attention before they become a sort of magnet for other peopleâs attention) That tends to set up Leos for a period when theyâre indulging in that attention in all their relationships. Like theyâre getting a bit of ego validation by how much all their friends are into them and they go with it and sort of ignore any emotional consequences until they canât.
-Neptune hard aspects (esp square/opposition) to Moon/Mars: they tend to have a deep fantasy life that affects how they move in the world. They build up their fantasies of the people theyâre into being their perfect hook up and they can get âconfusedâ about their feelings about someone. Like they get closer to a friend and hook up and may entertain the idea of dating and a future together but they just donât actually feel that way about them. Or they break up with someone and still see them in a certain way so they work to please them to some degree in entertaining the idea of getting together again. Itâs like future faking but lowkey the native is doing this the most to themselves and trying to figure out what they actually want long term. Sometimes they only understand what they want after an option has been cut off from them.
-Mars hard aspects (esp square/opposition) to Moon: their heart and their d*ck want different things. No but for real though if they have insane s*xual chemistry with someone theyâre probably overwhelmed and overthinking it. If they have a deep emotional connection with someone, they may be torn because they lack chemistry with the person. Itâs a lot of internal strife of like wanting people to fit together with the perfect traits in the perfect way but the native has to actually figure out what that means for them before theyâre able to settle down.
-How do you know if youâre the one? I hate to be blunt about this, but you connection with this guy will take top priority over the others. But dear god you will have to communicate so much to like work through this. Youâll probably have to be a bit patient as you guys get past all of this messiness. The good thing is, that if heâs a good guy heâll make you feel like youâre in a rom com in a good way, like youâre really loved and cared for, despite all of this. If heâs underdeveloped? Donât do it girl, heâll never know what he wants and heâll stress you tf out (i mean do whatever you want, youâve just got to figure out if itâs worth the headache and possible heartbreak for you).
(I hope you all liked this! If you did I have a few more types I have in mind to post about ;0)

the thing that super techy people - whether that be linux nerds or actual software developers or both - tend to miss is that most people, if a form of technology works as default, won't bother tinkering around with that default. nobody wants to compile all their apps from scratch except a small minority of people. and most people, to be frank, don't wholly understand what they're working with. if word works, they're not going to switch to some open source equivalent that they had to download and set up and fiddle around with. if windows works, they're not going to download linux. they don't want to. they probably don't even know linux is an option, and even if they did, they still wouldn't move to linux. and you can list the benefits of linux and drawbacks of mac os until the sun goes down, but you're not going to persuade the average person, because they just aren't invested enough in their technology! this is why nobody moves away from windows even when it's spying on you and sticking ai in everything and costs $34567890 and your firstborn son: they don't know any better, or they don't have the time to change, or they don't care, or they just, quite simply, don't understand their computer enough to take a risk with software that may not be so easy to use. and i understand this! it's great if you can code, but it's a skill just as much as writing or skating is - something most people are never going to sink much of their time into, no matter how much you personally love it. so if you want people to change their ways, you need to hold your hand, you need to listen to them, and you need to give something that will just work. otherwise, they'll see you as a hindrance - not a help.

A/N: so, this one another one of my post shower thoughts that has now transformed into this little fic đ„č this time of the year is a struggle for myself and for others, and I hope it can bring us all a bit of peace before the new year đ€
~word count: 4.5k~

Itâs New Year's Eve. The official last day of the year. A whole 365 days has come and gone, and yet, you find yourself feeling the same way you did last year. It wasnât like you had a particularly terrible life or anything of the sorts, but you still had your struggles. Your daily contemplations over whether you were doing enough, being enough in your little life. You try to focus on all the good that happened in those 365 days of life.
All the laughter, smiles, the warm fuzzy feelings that you found yourself chasing more often than none. The bad times always find their way to trickle in and weasel into your conscience like an infection. The truth is that you know life comes with both good and bad memories. But why is it so hard to push back the bad? Why is it so easy to beat yourself down? You could have done this better, you shouldnât have said the things you said, did you remember to turn your out of office on before you left the office?
Shit. There was that one email I didnât get to.
Maybe you find yourself trying to cram in as many last minute tasks before the new year. Closet clean out? You havenât worn that sweater in months..yet, you find yourself holding onto it because it was a gift from a dear friend, and you donât want to unintentionally hurt their feelings by donating or regifting it.
Fridge clean out? Well, it does say that horseradish never expires..but you can never be too careful!
Clean your living space from top to bottom? Maybe next year youâll invest in cleaner products for both the earth and your brain cells. Bleach can be awfully nasty to deal with.
Your phone buzzes on the coffee table in front of you. Leftovers are your meal of choice for the evening. You spent hours cleaning your kitchen, and youâd rather not have to do another wipe down till tomorrow.
Hey, are you sure you donât want to come out with us tonight? Weâre leaving in an hour!
It's not that you donât want to go out with your friends, itâs the steps before getting out the door that have always been a struggle for you.
What if my outfit doesnât look the way I planned it out in my head?
What if I completely botch this makeup look?
What if the club is too packed?
You hate feeling this way, often thinking youâre a burden to your friends because you're constantly planning ahead of time. Living in the moment for you has always been tough. A gray area that sometimes you have found yourself making peace with, and other times you just wish you could be different.
You reach for your phone while youâre already mentally planning the steps in order to get ready in time. Being late is never an option, even when itâs just a fun night out in town.
Hey, I thought it over and Iâd love to come out with you guys :) see you soon!
You send the text in a flash before tossing your half eaten slice of pizza onto the coffee table and rush to your room.
You tear up every inch of your closet looking for the perfect outfit. It's New Yearâs Eve after all, and you want to be shimmering like a grand disco ball.
The outfit is on, and you look great! It turned out even better than you pictured it in your head. But the longer you stare in the mirror.
Fuck. Canât I just turn my brain off for one night? Please?
And there it is, again. That gnawing little voice inside your head that pops up, gleaming and waving its hand just in case you forgot that it existed.
You arenât actually going to wear that..are you?
It looks all wrong.
And youâre going to be freezingâ
Your friends are going to look 10x better than youâ
âENOUGH!â You shout to no one in particular before you stomp off to the bathroom.
After taking a deep breath, you pull out your array of makeup from one of the bathroom drawers. Pinterest becomes your best friend again while you scroll to find a makeup look that screams you.
Bold. Glittery. Too much glitter?
There is never such a thing as too much glitter. You remind that little voice inside of your head.
Even with your âgoing out playlistâ on full blast, you feel your confidence begin to shrink and diminish as you stare at your painted face in the mirror. Itâs not exactly like the picture you found on Pinterest, but thereâs no time for you to change it now.
Your phone buzzes again, and this time itâs your friends sending you a group picture of all of them pregaming in their glittery outfits and bright smiles. You heart the message before typing back,
Wow, you guys look amazing! Please donât be mad, Iâm just not feeling up for it tonight. I hope you guys have a blast and stay safe! :)
Your friends understand, because they know that this has always been a struggle for you. A sore spot that hasnât exactly quite healed the way you wish it had. Itâs hard to dig yourself out of a hole that you dug, but you're grateful that they have always been so understanding.
No worries, we love you, and Happy New Year!
And all you feel is guilt.
But instead of wallowing away in your apartment, you grab your coat, purse and keys before making the final decision to go out.
You find yourself outside of a coffee shop just down the block from your apartment. You passed by it everyday during your commute to work, but you never found yourself going in, until now.
The coffee shop is found to be empty as most people are already out to dinner or at a party. Itâs somewhat comforting that itâs just you and the lone barista who hadnât heard you come in yet. His back is turned to you while he wipes down one of the counters, humming to himself as he moves about.
You're immediately drawn into how cozy everything feels. From the decor to the crackling fireplace to the soft music playing through the speakers.
The man turns then, towel gently grasped in his hand when he finally registers that heâs no longer alone. He takes in your attire, finding it odd that someone all dressed up for the evening found themselves here. Then he remembered how his daughter told him itâs rude to judge strangers because you never know what the next person is going through.
He smiles warmly instead. âHey there, I was uhâjusâ about to close up for the eveninâ but can I get you anythin?ââ Heâs got a face that you already know youâre going to have a hard time forgetting. Strong built frame, yet soft in all the right places and despite his exterior appearing to be hardened, he seems friendly enough.
âOh, Iâm sorry. I hadnât noticed that you were closing up for the night..I donât want to keep you here. I can always come back another time?â
He detects the way your face slightly begins to fall as he lightly taps his fingers along the counter top he just finished wiping down. âSâalright. I forgot to change the sign out front so thatâs all on me. So, what can I get ya? Itâs on the house.â He gestured to the menu board above his head.
You hesitated for a moment as you didnât want to inconvenience this man who probably had his own New Yearâs Eve plans to get to. âAre you..sure? I really donât mind coming back another day.â
âSâalright, I promise. I donât have anywhere important I need to be anyway.â He said with a slight shrug.
âNo fun New Year's Eve plans? And Iâll take a cappuccino, please.â You stepped closer to the counter as you reached into your purse for your wallet.
âNah. âSupposed to meet my brother at a bar nearby for a couple drinks, but he can wait a little longer.â He was already reaching his hand out to stop you from pulling out your wallet, when your eyes met his.
âFor the tip.â You said with a smile while placing a couple five dollar bills into the tip jar.
âOh, thank you. âAwfully kind of ya.â He responds softly, out of surprise because most people never bothered to tip. He might even be blushing a little..but he canât really tell. Maybe it was just the steam from the espresso machine.
âItâs no problem. Gotta support small businesses, yâknow?â
He nods in understanding. âYeah, itâs the least people can do. Anyway, Iâll get that Cappuccino goinâ for ya. Feel free to sit wherever.â He gestured to the empty tables.
The table closest to the fireplace ended up being the one you ultimately chose. It happened to also be his favorite spot as well, go figure.
On any other occasion, Joel would call the customer's name once their drink was ready, but given the current circumstances..and the fact that he hadnât asked for your name, bringing the coffee to you was perfectly acceptable.
âHereâs that Cappuccino for ya.â His voice drawled above you as he set the mug down in front of you. âLet me know if I can getcha anythinâ else. Iâll just be in the back finishinâ up with the cleanin.ââ
âThank you..â you start to say before realizing that you donât know this manâs name either.
âJoel.â He clears his throat. âMy name is Joel, and you are?..â
You tell him your name and he nods with a small smile.
You're left alone to your thoughts as his footsteps disappear behind the countertop once more. You can faintly hear him busying himself and putzing around as your cappuccino begins to cool without you realizing it.
You find yourself vacantly staring through the windows, and the dimly lit streets and passerbyâs. Youâve always had a fond love for people watching and imagining what their lives were like. What their jobs and aspirations were. Did they have a family waiting for them? What made them happy? Would they be able to relate to you?
You donât even hear Joelâs approaching footsteps nearing the table until heâs saying your name with an edge of concern in his voice because youâve neglected to have a single sip of your cappuccino that has now become room temperature.
Your eyes meet his deep brown warm ones as your own sense of confusion washes over you.
âIs everythinâ alright? You havenât touched your cappuccino at all..â heâs not offended, nor hurt, but the empath in him is genuinely concerned, even though youâre just a stranger in his coffee shop.
âOh.â Your voice falls flat. âIâm so sorry, Joel. I guess I got lost in my own thoughts and completely forgot about it.â You feel bad, awful actually because he took the time to make you this drink, and all you had to do was just drink itâ
âHey, itâs alright. I find myself getting lost in my own thoughts as well. But, I canât have ya drinkinâ a cold Cappuccino. Iâll make you a new one, alright? Itâs no trouble at all.â Heâs already reaching over to grab the mug.
âJoel, are you sure? You really donât have toââ
He cuts you off reassuringly, âI insist. I wonât have my customer drinkinâ a cold Cappuccino on my watch. Ainât no way.â
He disappears back behind the counter before you are able to protest. Joel returns 10 minutes later with two mugs in hand. You listen to the sound of the chair across from you scraping before he slowly sits down.
âI uhâhope you donât mind me joininâ ya? You jusâ seem like you could use some company, darlin.â Sâthat alright for me to call you darlin?ââ
Heâs sweet like warm sticky molasses and honey. He actually might be the nicest guy youâve met in a long long time.
âOh, I donât mind at all, Joel. I could actually use the company, and you can call me darling. Thatâs alright with me too.â
He smiles at you over the rim of his mug that is clasped between his hands. He gently blows on the billowing steam before he takes a small sip. âSo, do you have any fun plans for the eveninâ? Iâm only assuminâ cusâ youâre all dressed up for a night out in town.â He gestures to your glittery getup that sparkles under the warm flames.
âWell, I did have plans to meet up with some friends tonight..but I wasnât feeling up for it in the end and somehow ended up here.â You said with a sigh before taking a sip of your own Cappuccino. âThis is delicious, by the way.â
âHow come?..if ya donât mind me askin?â And Iâm glad youâre enjoyinâ it. Tastes a lot better when itâs hot.â
The last thing you expected tonight was to engage in a conversation about your daily anxieties with this absolutely gorgeous man. Whom you just met, but crazier things have happened before.
âI donât mind you asking, Joel. I just donât want to burden you with my troubles or anything. Especially since I think theyâre a bit silly and blown out of proportion.â Your eyes casted downwards into the mug.
âHey, I doubt you can do that, and between you and me? Iâve heard it all. Got a teenage daughter whoâs goinâ through all the things that Iâm tryinâ to understand..but as a single father, itâs fuckinâ tough sometimes. But Iâd be happy to act as a listeninâ ear for ya.â He genuinely means it, too.
âYou have a daughter? How old is she? Teenagers can be a handful, that is very true.â You responded thoughtfully while leaning back against the chair.
You watch the way his eyes light up like a Christmas tree when you show a genuine interest in this manâs life. Itâs sometimes a rare occurrence to meet a stranger who you feel like you can just immediately open up to without thinking too hard about it.
âShe just turned 13 this year. Sheâs a good kid, super smart. The kinda kid that probably will end up growinâ up and changinâ the world. Sheâs..well, my world.â He clears his throat and you notice his dimple poking out in his cheek.
As if this man couldnât become any more attractive.
âAnyway, sheâs already goinâ through some friend and boy drama and itâs jusâ a lot to keep up with. Her mom ainât in the picture either, so itâs not like I can turn to her for any guidance. She went to her first ever school dance this year in a dress that she picked out. The next thing I know, sheâs callinâ me up in tears because some kids thought it was okay to make fun of how she looked. I know kids can be mean sometimes, but I wanted to go in there and teach those little shits a lesson myself.â
He was quite the protective father.
âKids can be real bitches sometimes, Joel. I never quite understood it myself. Especially since Iâm sure your daughter was just minding her own business and having a good time? I learned at a very young age that thereâs a lot of jealous people in this world that enjoy causing pain in others for no apparent reason. They might have their own struggles, but that is no justification. Those kids that bullied your daughter will hopefully learn from their mistakes sooner rather than later.â
âShe was just mindinâ her own and having a great time. She was so excited to wear her dress. It jusâ makes me so goddamn angry because I canât protect her from everythinâ out there. Itâs somethinâ that Iâve really struggled with this year especially. And Iâve tried to talk to my brother about it, but he doesnât get it either.â Joel said with a sigh. âIâm glad that you can understand all of this though. I donât really have any female friends to talk to about this stuff either.â
âMost kids grow out of their âmeanâ phase after highschool. I can admit that I went through a phase similar to that. Made a lot of mistakes that I had to hold myself accountable for. But, with your love and support, I think your daughter is gonna end up being okay. Sheâs lucky to have you as a dad.â You reassure him.
âReally? You donât seem like the type of person to ever hurt someone..then again, I ainât perfect either. Never have been, never will. Iâve had my own regrets as well. But, I appreciate all that youâre sayin.â SâNice to be validated every now and then.â He leans forward with his elbows resting along the table and youâre just beginning to notice how broad his shoulders truly are under his faded flannel.
âI donât think anyone can ever claim to be perfect. We donât know everything and can make genuine mistakes. But all we can really do is learn from them, make it up to the people we may have hurt, and move forward. I think youâre a really nice person, based on our conversation, Joel.â
âYouâre right, darlin.â No one in this world can claim they are perfect. It's impossible.â His knee brushed yours gently from how close he was leaning in giving you a clear indication that he was actively listening to everything you were saying. âAnyway, Iâm sorry I went off on that tangent jusâ now when we were talkinâ about your New Yearâs Eve plans.â
âDammit.â You sighed with a smile tugging on your lips. âI thought you forgot all about that.â
âNah. Iâm pretty good at rememberinâ even if I find myself havinâ to circle back. So, you didnât feel up to meetingâ your friends tonight?â
âI was going to, truly. But I just got into my head way too much. It started with finding an outfit to wear. I absolutely tore my closet up and Iâm really dreading having to clean it up later. Anyway, Iâve got the outfit on, right?â
He nods while taking another sip of his Cappuccino.
âIâm feeling great, and loving the way the outfit looks on me, and then thereâs that stupid mean voice inside my brain. You know the one?â
âAhh yeah. The voice that tells us that weâre unattractive and worthless? Like when we put on our favorite outfit and itâs not fitting quite right, and we know itâs silly to cry over clothes..but sometimes we just canât help it? And that voice is right there beating us down because sometimes we forget that itâs natural for our bodies to change?â
Damn, heâs good.
âSo...you hear that voice sometimes too? I honestly thought I was alone in this feeling. I tend to keep these thoughts to myself because I donât want to burden others, yâknow? I do see a therapist, though. It definitely has helped a lot, but Iâm still struggling.â
âDarlin,â I know exactly where youâre cominâ from. I had these favorite pairs of jeans that I would wear pretty much everyday. Well, just this past month I found that they ainât fittinâ the way they used to. The zipper wouldnât budge, and then I spent a good hour tryinâ all the tricks in the book to get those suckers to fit. Well, none of it worked and then I started beatinâ myself up. Sayinâ all the nasty names I could come up with. Then after all of that, I thought about all the delicious meals I had this year and especially these damn ice cream sundaes that my kid is obsessed with. Suddenly, the jeans not fittinâ didnât bother me as much anymore.â
âIce cream sundaes are delicious, and even more-so when you are enjoying them with your daughter. I pretty much went through the exact thing that youâre describing. I know that we shouldnât give into the societal bullshit of looking a certain way to appear more attractive, but itâs just hard sometimes. Thatâs why I try to cycle through my closet every now and then so Iâm not holding onto clothing that doesnât fit me anymore. Did you end up keeping the jeans?..â
âSheâs been requestinâ them for dessert pretty much every night, and I have a hard time tellinâ her no. They are absolutely delicious. It is definitely hard to pass them up sometimes. Itâs comforting to know that other people go through the exact same thing that weâve gone through. I did in fact donate the jeans, and then bought a new pair the same day. Wearinâ âem now actually, and I gotta say, I think I look quite good in âem if I do say so myself.â He said in a cheeky tone that sent heat rising on your cheeks.
âWell, I think you should stand up, if you feel comfortable doing so, that is, and letâs see what this jeans talk is all about.â
He grins at you, eyebrows playfully dancing while he sets his mug down along the table before pushing his chair back to stand up.
He gives you a little spin, one that neither you were expecting, but you could tell that he was having fun showing off his new denim.
âOkay, respectfully? Those jeans look amazing on you, they are very flattering, Joel.â
He laughs a warm and hearty laugh as his cheeks turn beet red from your words. Even if youâre just playing along, heâs feeling charmed by your presence.
âReally? Yâknow, I was thinkinâ the same thing and aâthat..but Iâm a pretty humble guy.â He said sheepishly.
âJoel, screw being humble. Youâre wearing those jeans like theyâre made for you! You gotta own that.â You said with a giggle.
âAlright. Alright. If ya say so, darlin.â I appreciate the compliment, but have ya taken a look at yourself tonight? Youâre glitterinâ like a goddamn mirror ball. Gonna blind me with all that sparkle Yâgot goinâ on.â Heâs flirting, now. Heâs absolutely shamelessly flirting with you.
You find yourself leaning forward then, close enough that he can see the pretty shimmer painted on your eyelids and your undeniable flirty smile.
âJoel, are you flirting with me right now?â Youâre feeling bold, and curious to know if you were reading the signs correctly, or letting your brain run a muck in theories.
âI am, darlin.â Is that..alright? Cusâ if it makes you feel uncomfortable, I can stop.â
âNo, please continue to flirt away. Iâm glad that youâre getting to see my outfit, Joel. I probably have glitter in places where glitter doesnât belong.â You said with a light, airy laugh.
âYouâll be finding little bits of glitter all over the place well within the next year. Do you have any to spare?â He asked with a warm chuckle.
âActually..I do have some to spare.â You reached for your purse along the side of the chair and pulled out your tube of glitter eyeshadow that you had brought just in case you needed any touch ups. âMay I?â
âOh, you really werenât kiddinâ when you said you have some to spare, huh?â He leaned in closer to get a better look. âThatâs a really pretty color, darlin.â You think I can pull that off?â
âI donât kid when it comes to my glitter, Joel.â You said teasingly. âI absolutely think you can pull this color off. But, Iâll need you to close your eyes so I can apply this more eveningly.â
âOkay, Iâm trustinâ you, darlin.ââ He slowly closed his eyes then and only flinched a little when he felt the applicator glide across his eyelid. âSorry, wasnât it expectinâ to feel that damn cold.â He murmured softly.
âNo worries, Joel. It can be a bit ticklish at times.â You scooted your chair in closer to him so both of your knees were tucked in between his as you delicately applied the shimmering shadow. Your tongue was peeking out between your lips as you focused on the task at hand.
He tried to peek his eye open once, before you playfully scolded him and said, no peeking.
To which he grumbled out a response with his arms crossed over his chest.
âAm I pretty yet, darlin?ââ He asked with his eyes still shut as you admired your work.
âVery pretty, Joel. Okay, you can go ahead and open them.â You pulled out a little handheld mirror from your purse and held it out for him to admire his appearance.
He opened his eyes, blinking a few times to get used to the feeling before he averted his attention to the mirror you were holding. âOh, shit. Wow. Yâknow what..I actually think I like it.â He looked over at you then before he realized how close you were sitting to him. âThank you, darlinâ I feel like Iâm a mirror ball too.â
âIt really brings out your eyes, Joel. They were already pretty before, but now, theyâre even more beautiful.â
You were already forgetting about how awful you felt earlier, and the guilty feelings for turning down your friend's offer to go out. It admittedly felt nice to talk to another person that shared more things in common with you than you realized. To be validated, and in turn, validate someone as well? It felt really, really good inside.
âSo, now that weâre both glittered up, and itâs two hours till the start of the new year, would you maybe care to join me for a drink? Only if youâre feeling up for it, that is.â Joel asked you with his eyes flickering back to yours. Truthfully, heâs happy that you somehow found yourself in his coffee shop tonight. He canât remember the last time heâs connected with someone on such a deep and personal level.
âIâd love to get a drink with you, Joel.â You donât even second guess your answer, and if the feelings come up later, so be it. That little voice inside of your head is nowhere to be found as Joel offers you his arm.
You help him finish closing up for the night before the two of you find yourselves walking arm in arm to the bar that his brother Tommy was at. During your walk, you find yourselves falling back into conversation that flows easy like a steady stream. When you bring up feeling guilty for often being a homebody, he reassures you that wanting to spend a quiet evening with yourself is perfectly normal, and itâs something you shouldnât feel ashamed of. He goes on to add that if you want to go out more, thatâs perfectly okay to do as well. But you should never pressure yourself to go out and have a good time, if thatâs truly not what you want to do.
And when you find Joelâs brother at the high top with a glass of bubbly in front of him, the first thing that comes out of his mouth is, âJoel, what is that on your face?â He leans in close to inspect the glitter shadow painted on Joelâs eyelids.
You and Joel turn to one another with two knowing smiles plastered on your faces before you laugh in unison, âitâs glitter, of course!â

astrology lyric breakdown â ËïœĄâ êȘৠË
Love Drought â BeyoncĂ© (Lemonade)
request for @bitdemonic | first verse & pre-hook
âȘ Ten times out of nine, I know you're lying â his scorpio neptune in her scorpio neptune first house, her scorpio moon in his third house, his mercury conjunct her neptune, his third house containing neptune
sheâs so intuitively in-tune with the thoughts of her lover that she knows when heâs lying. and he seem like he would try to lie or conceal a lot. this may have worked on others, but not a woman he has moon-third house overlay with in scorpio. she know âcuz she herself probably sneaky too, whole time.
this is definitely because of scorpionic, lunar, and neptunian energy combined. this is some of the most intuitive energy concentrated in one area. she know what he thinking even before he know.
âȘ And nine times outta ten, I know you're trying
âȘ So I'm trying to be fair â her libra venus conjunct her pluto; her libra venus conjunct his libra moon
fairness is ruled by libra / venus. and natally, a libra venus could be someone who really values fairness. although, in compromising situations, it can be prove to be more difficult. in a way thatâs kind of un-libran, plutoâs presence could instead manifest as the native being controlling, overbearing, jealous, insecure, etc. but sheâs trying. sheâs trying to withhold this part of herself that may encourage her to sabotage. and this is on his libra moon too.
âȘ And you're trying to be there⊠and to care â his libra moon quincunx his taurus saturn, his saturn in her seventh house
the quincunx is a minor aspect where you need to compromise between energies that are at conflict with each other. the thing is that both his moon and saturn are in venutian signs, but the expression of the venutian signs are conflicted. then the quincunx planets are each otherâs detriments and in mutual reception (exaltation). saturn exalts in libra, moon exalts in taurus. so itâs about balance.
his libra moon is probably telling him to keep his options open, or to be evasive, to maybe tell white lies. but thatâs not what saturn is saying. when weâre reading for marriage, saturn has so much significance because saturn tells us how we commit. taurus is a present sign. taurus is consistent. taurus is predictable. even though his moon might be telling him to evade⊠his saturn is telling him to not to.
his saturn is in her seventh house â a promising indication for long-term marriage. in fact, it also can be an indication of the partnership maturing them significantly (especially maturing the seventh house person). as we know, jay-z met beyoncĂ© when she was pretty young & sheâs been with him since then. heâs been âthereâ a long time, but heâs never really been present. which is also another quality of saturn â it can show distance. thus⊠heâs a distant partner.
âȘ And you're caught up in your permanent emotions â his libra moon conjunct his virgo pluto
this is a loose-orb aspect, but i felt it was worth mentioning. someone with moon aspecting pluto can be so absorbed in their own emotional world, it makes them sort of blind to the emotional complexities of people around them. especially because this conjunction with his moon is happening in her twelfth house, another house of distance or removal, as this is the house of saturnâs rejoicing.
âȘ All the loving I've been giving goes unnoticed. It's just floating in the air, lookie there. Are you aware? â his scorpio neptune conjunct her scorpio moon, his scorpio neptune in her scorpio first house, her natal twelfth house libra venus
thereâs a lot of elusive energy with the scorpio/neptune/moon/twelfth house combo here. beyoncĂ© â as a scorpio ascendant + moon and twelfth house venus â is deeply impassioned. in fact, the twelfth house is a house of service and devotion. but similar to service workers and devotees, they donât really get recognition for the energy they invest in something.
so her asking if heâs even aware of her makes so much sense⊠leads to her feeling neglected. people who are always wanted take for granted the fact that they are wanted. this is something twelfth house venuses may struggle with.
âȘ You're my lifeline, are you tryna kill me? If I wasn't me, would you still feel me? â her virgo sun in his first house
the first line ("you're my lifeline, are you tryna kill me? if i wasn't me, would you still feel me?")... it may be a bit of a stretch. but i just made the connection because the first house is the house of your life, in the sense that it's the house that is read for your first moments of life (birth) and your introductions to all things in life you experience. it's the most "you" house. and the sun is your vitality or spirit. her sun in his first... her spirit is so deeply intertwined with him, it could quite literally feel like he is her lifeline.
for the second part, i feel like her sun being in his first house shows that she kind of illuminates him. she brings that solar energy to his presence. so i guess i feel like she's asking... if i wasn't someone who improved your image; someone who made you look better... would you still want me? because she's BEYONCà GISELLE KNOWLES... super successful and all. "everything next to me gets lit up too," (i'm that girl) is basically this overlay. but if beyoncé was just a regular old girl, would that be enough?
âȘ Like on my worst day?
âȘ Or am I not thirsty enough?
âȘ I don't care about the lights or the beams, spend my life in the dark for the sake of you and me â her twelfth house libra venus
the twelfth house is such a removed house. and this is someone who need love to be thus removed from public spectacle. the twelfth house is also a house of darkness. so i think this line explains itself. like i already addressed, he might be concerned about how the public receives his relationship with her. but she personally doesn't value that. she just wants to be with him, and she's willing to give a lot in order to keep him with her. (twelfth house = loss)

Totk spoilers but not major ones, minor spoilers
.
.
So Iâm still playing through Totk but very slowly, Iâm super invested in taking my time and enjoying the scenery, same way I played BOTW. But I had an idea, as per usual. So know those poes you find in the depths? Know how poes in ocarina of Time are mean to you? I have two things on this
1. Since Wild had a near death experience (or just. A death experience would be more accurate) he can see poes and they donât hurt him! So when visiting Times hyrule, the pies donât attack him. They just vibe together. This leads to Shenanigans.
2. The poes are actually his fellow knights, or just in general people whom he knew in life before the calamity. Thatâs why you see those random ghost knights handing out weapons. Those are his coworkers! They speak to him, maybe vibe with him. Now, imagine: heâs in Times Hyrule getting attacked by Poe, and one of HIS Poe, (his Poe friends) come out and fight the other Poe for him, and maybe pass on a weapon afterwards. Angsty? Fluffy? Crack? So many options.
Aight, back into my little hole in the ground I go!
#linked universe#totk minor spoilers#totk#lu wild#wild linked universe#linked universe wild#poe#what if BOTH actually?#Might make this a story#or not#(probably not)#anyways the reason I havenât been writing because I had writers block#and also now I have finals again#and a creative writing club#tears of the kingdom
