What would the DM cast do if Jaden was the one that got left behind in the dark world instead of Jesse?

Oh oh. You are a mad genius.

I love stories where Jaden stayed behind instead of Jesse. They are rare but I’ve read them before. My favorite one (I don’t remember the name or what site it was on) but it had Jaden taken Jesse’s deck and duel disk from him since they needed rainbow dragons attack to continue. (He might have knocked Jesse out to do this it’s been a while)

But let’s say Jaden stayed and Jesse returned. (Jaden stole the deck/threw Jesse through the portal)

Yugi, Seto and the others are waiting at duel academy for their son to return. They helped Pegasus’s find rainbow dragon and helped get rainbow dragon through. They are trusting Jaden and his friends to do their part now.

The school returns and with it the students. So many students are roaming around. Many dazed and confused about what is happening (the duel zombies are snapping back to reality)

The DM cast are running through. They are checking on the other students as they go, but they are looking for Jaden.

They find a screaming Jesse instead. He’s fighting with Axel. “How could you leave him? How could he do this to me? What am I suppose to do now?” Jesse’s having a lot of emotions. His best friend/crush just switched their decks. He and Jesse’s deck/Jesse’s family are still in that dimension. (I think it’s easiest to have Jaden switch their duel disks meaning Jaden and the Crystal beasts are in the dark world while Jesse and the hero’s have returned)

Jesse is switching between rage at himself for not realizing what Jaden was doing, Axel for not stoping it, Yubel for starting the problem in the first place, Jaden and his stupid hero complex, and all these students here who constantly act like Jaden’s existence is to make their lives easy. He’s sad, angry, grieving, and terrified all at once.

And he is who Yugi finds.

The boy is mid-rant when the two lock eyes and Jesse freezes before he just falls to his knees and sobs. How on earth is he suppose to tell Jaden’s family that he didn’t come back with them.

Yugi puts it together and almost breaks down right there and then. He pull it together enough to find Mokuba. Mokuba loves his nephew, but Yugi knows Mokuba won’t lose himself to rage of grief. Mokuba will loss himself in strategizing how they are going to get Jaden back. Yugi can’t do that right now, he needs a moment to collect himself and then he will be on it. He knows Seto, Atem, Joey, and Tristian will lose themselves to their rage. Téa will be lost to grief. They all need a moment.

So he goes to Mokuba and tell him to start pulling students. Jaden’s still in that dimension and they need as much information as possible. Mokuba is on it. Organizing the students into three groups 1) zombies (unhelpful) 2) cowards (people who didn’t become zombies but weren’t helpful) 3) leaders (most of these, unsurprisingly, are Jaden’s friends)

Yugi goes and finds the others, breaking the news to them. They all have a good cry or rage out. They have been under a lot of stress for the past three years and this last week has been hell.

After a good cry and scream (or whatever they need) they pull it together. They go to ‘interview’ (read interrogate nicely) Jaden’s friends

Yugi pulls Jesse. He needs to know exactly what happened in that final duel. He pulls the boy separate from the others so there is not mincing of words. Jesse knows Jaden is Yugi’s son. There is nothing to hide, they both want to figure out the fastest way back to Jaden.

Atem is talking to Axel. He was one of the most active participants in leading the others.

Joey is talking to Jim. Same as above. He was active in leading the group and might know information they need.

Téa is talking to Alexis and Blair. Trying to price together how everything went so wrong. Blair also remembered how Martin behaved when under Yubel’s control and that could be helpful.

Tristian is talking to Hasselberry, they are taking though all the decisions made and where things went wrong.

Seto is ‘talking’ to Crowler and Bonaparte. He is chewing his staff out for not taking control of the situation. Leaving everything up to students. And worst of all leaving one of those students behind

Mokuba it taking to Chazz and Syrus. They became duel zombies fast but still any informations they could have is useful and Mokuba is going to pull it fast and move on. He’s not going to make them feel worthless for failing but he’s not going to spend time comforting them either.

A big difference is that Seto is not leaving anything up to chance. They are going after their boy now. He will rip the whole in space himself if he has to.

The group reconvened after talking to the kids, they are planning to go back to Kaiba Corp to get the dimensional pods ready. (Only two can go but that’s a fight for later)

The Gx kids are heading back to the slifer dorm to lick their wounds. Jesse stops and says he forgot to tell them something. He barges into the room right as the DM crew are making their plans demanding to go with them.

They try to explain to him that only two can go and there is no way they can put a literal child in danger. But then winged Kuriboh appeared and starts cooing at them. A rift is appearing and it’s time to go.

"I can't believe you've done this." Duke shook his head in disappointment. Maybe he hadn't known Sigfried before this, but the man had certainly piqued his interest at the banquet last night when all the duelists were mingling and announced to the press. He'd had high hopes for where this might go. "Even Kaiba would never go so far as to sabotage the core servers of someone else's company. Not even to Pegasus. And you know what Pegasus did? He abducted Mokuba and tried to take over KaibaCorp."

Duke tipped his head to the side, emerald eyes appraising the frustrated, defeated German in front of him, looking like he wanted to say more, like he wanted a reason to forgive him.

Ugh. Another person judging him.

“I remember you… you’re one of Yugi Muto’s companions. Duke Devlin, correct?”

Siegfried couldn’t bring himself to meet the young man’s piercing eyes as he replied.

“I know what I did was wrong. I acknowledge the damage my choices caused, und I’m accepting the consequences of my actions.”

It wasn’t an insincere response- he meant every word. But it was obviously rehearsed, phoned in. He didn't want to count how many times he'd responded with that exact phrasing before. He couldn't stop people from asking, from shaming, from berating him in public. But he didn’t owe strangers his life story, certainly not to justify anything. However, he did owe anyone who was at the KC Grand Prix an apology. His guilt assured him of that.

That said, he was getting sick of this- of every social gathering becoming a courtroom, of every conversation turning into an interrogation- a demand he confess his crimes for the umpteenth time. It'd been so long since the Grand Prix. When would it stop?

“But that’s not what you want, is it?” He scoffed, bitterness staining his voice. “You don't want me to feel sorry, or for me to do better. I’m not convinced anyone wants an apology as much as you want to steep in schadenfreude at my expense. I assure you, I'm suffering for my evil ways. Nothing to worry about there."

Blog Recap - Part 2

Hello Lovelies,

Since I have run this Blog for 8 years now. I have gotten a lot of new follower to this blog that may not know the whole story thus far of Skies and the gang. I have been wanting to post this in a video format for a while, but I do not have the resources or the time to create such a version, which is why this has been so delayed…

With that said, for those who are interested, below is the summarized story thus far on "ask-indigoskies"

Chapter 2

We return to our heroes as they interrogate this green Pegasus date crasher. It turns out this green Pegasus has been looking for Eclipse Solarwind and Skies was the one to point him in the right direction. When Skies asks why he needs Eclipse's help, Gale explains the lost Alicorn King civilization. Skies remembers her mother mentioning this civilization, so she agrees to assist Gale, under the condition that he cleans up the mess he created of her picnic.

Before Skies takes Gale to see Eclipse, a detour is made to visit her peach farm friend to get some fresh peaches for Frae. The group makes their way to the edge of town where the sent of sweet peaches wafts in the air. Harvest is delighted to see her good friend Skies and small sweet friend Frae. While Frae rested her legs and Harvest went out to gather the sweetest peach for Frae, Skies maned her "boop booth" and answered some question while earning some bits along the way. Chaos ensued as usual.

Many Boops and bits were made that afternoon, before the gage waved goodbye to Harvest. Now they journey to the train station to send Frae on her way home. Skies and Frae chitchat with one another while Gale regrets his choices.

Once Skies sees Frae off to her train, Skies ignores Gale for a bit to answer some questions sent in from some viewers, along with some other cast members.

After many many questions were answered by Skies and crew, Gale asks Skies if they had reaches their destination. Skies not wanting to reveal the location of her home, she blindfolds Gale to keep her home's location hidden until she decided she can trust Gale or not.

The two travel a bit before they reach their next destination. Skies allows Gale to remove his mask. Gale sees a very oddly designed home hidden between some hills. As Skies reaches her hoof to knock on the door, Skies shouts "Mom, I'm home!" Gale freezes in place as he hears "Mom" shouted from Skies.

Today, she's allowed herself the luxury of taking her papers to the pegasus stables. Squatting on a crate, frowning at the report, occasionally tearing her eyes away to feed an apple slice to the neighboring mount.

The pegasus nudges at her eagerly, expression all begging. Sanaki snickers in delight, then relents and offers him another treat. Even in this foreign land, pegasi never fail to lift her spirits. Small joys like these, Sanaki would argue, are necessary motivators for the most unpleasant of work - though her more straitlaced advisors would surely disagree.

She spares a glance at the sound of passing footsteps, expecting just a knight or stablehand checking on their mount. When she sees the man, though, she freezes in recognition. "Levail!? General Gaddos!?" she exclaims in shock, immediately hopping off the crate and standing at her full height. "What are you doing here?" she demands. "How... how are you even alive?"

She inches her free hand towards her bookbag, which always, always holds Cymbeline if the need arises. The pegasus whinnies unhappily, at the apple slice entirely forgotten.

He imagines the work to be dignified--pegasi, after all, are elegant mounts, and their riders... surely quite brave, to be all the way up there, trusting one's life to the whim of a flighty, fickle beast...

Levail feels a bit ill. Still. It is necessary work, and it is, for the moment, his duty. He sets his jaw tight as he mixes the feed.

It is a laborious task. Finicky creatures, they are, with refined palates... but in time, Levail is done. He takes up the bucket (this is what his soldier's strength is used for, now) and steps into the stable proper.

He edges toward the first stall--and hears his own name like a peal of lightning.

Levail startles at the sudden sound... and doubly because it's familiar. He turns on quaking heels, and there she is, regal and small as a faceted gem, the Apostle herself.

Decorum deserts him. He stands, dumbly, against her interrogation. The feed-bucket hangs from his hand.

It is only when the Apostle falls silent that he remembers himself.

Slow, tremulous, Levail bends the knee. He inclines his head low; he prostrates himself as he always, always should have.

"Your Grace," he murmurs, voice strained. His body wracks with adrenaline, with the hammer of his heart. "I..."

He swallows. Sets his jaw tight.

"I would not dare ask for forgiveness now. But please, be assured... that my time in Duke Gaddos' service is done. M-my time in General Zelgius' service... is done."

His old bleeding heart swells, the wounds tearing open once more.

"I can only attribute my survival to the Goddess. There must be something I am... still meant to do."

A great pointed stone rises in Levail's labored throat. He fights it down.

"If that is to accept the punishment due to a traitor... so be it."

My "types of predators as a ler" was so popular, I thought I'd write a sequel. Nerd alert:

Your DnD class as a Ler, part one:

Paladin: Oath of destruction

Paladins are defenders of truth. They seek places in desperate need of laughter, or in need of desperate laughter. They deal with those they vanquish with no mercy. Justice is not always merciful. Once they utter their vow of destruction, the lee has no escape. The paladin attacks until the willpower of the lee is utterly destroyed.

Favorite scene: interrogation

Preferred bondage: rack, or similar.

Equipment: Pegasus feathers, unicorn hair make up brushes, +1 electric toothbrush.

Spells:

Command: The paladin can use his charisma modifier and issue a one word command. The lee will comply. Many an unwary lee has raised their arms or handed over an ankle against their will. On a critical fail, the lee is flustered for two turns.

Hunter's mark: Once the paladin has chosen a lee, the lee feels its attacks all the more keenly.

Divine smite:

With a spell slot, the paladin's attack cause 2d8 additional radiant laughter. The lee must pass a saving throw or be turned desperate.

Special power: Lay hands.

Once the session is over, the just paladin ceases his attacks on the safe word, and administers aftercare. Using his hands, the Paladin massages the lee's tender joints and sore muscles while giving many assurances to restore the lee from sub space.

the whole "Ash's secret LL3 item is a pegasus smartgun" bit is out of the bag, and both the knife and heart were used in a scene so idfk what to do with them

there's like, one scene I could maybe write- A1's interrogation with Oracle

but imma be real- I as a player have no fucking clue what Oracle wants. or what the missions are about. or what A1's problem is. or why Ash is so fucking weird.

What if Cana left the island before Acnologia came to destroy it because of the bullshit Makarov pulled? I imagine Cana hearing this, what if something inside her snapped and she just. completely shut down. became so defeated. She gave twelve years of her life to try to become S-Class and this was her one chance to do it right, to prove she could do this on her own merit, and yet after all the bullshit with Grimoire Heart and Hade's, suddenly the trail is canceled? What?

No.

What if she just very quietly, very casually, so as not to raise suspicion, took her healing bath with Lucy, knowing it would be the last time she'd see her. Got dressed and, oh, haha hey there wouldn't happen to be any drinks back on the boat would there? Aw well, I'm gonna head over, anyone wants anything? No? Don't mind me~

--and that's when she decides she'll go.

It's horrible. Terrible. But she's in a state of mind that's equivalent to heading toward the gallows. It doesn't matter anymore-- nothing matters anymore, so what's one sin to add atop her other failures?

She'd find the small boat and head towards their ship, her mind already in that heavy fog of depression that would take a shovel to dig out of, a hand outstretched to pull her from that pit-- but she's already forming plans about what she'll say to the rest of the guild when she arrives back at Magnolia when she hears that terrible roar.

And she sees the wings of the Black Dragon and she knows that Death has come to take her family away and she panics she's terrified but she attempts to row back to them, to try and help them, to use Fairy Glitter-- maybe that could stop it, maybe it could save them--

She's not able to make it to the shore in time before the dragon roars, sending a destructive, cataclysmic blast and destroying the very island that she abandoned them at. Cana is only able to survive because she was far enough away from the island that the shock wave would have blown her away from Tenrou but it wouldn't be enough to kill her. She wishes that it did though.

Cana eventually being found and rescued by the Magic Council and then interrogated by the Magic Council, before being released where she heads to back to Magnolia, back to the guild to deliver the news. And all the while, the guilt and weight of her sin embolden her with a new purpose: she can't let the cowardly choice she made go without atonement. She was punished for her disgrace by watching her family die, the least she could do was stay and take responsibility and care for the ones that were left behind.

Cana returns and delivers the news. And then when a vote is cast, Cana is elected as the Fourth Guild Master. She works hard to maintain Fairy Tail's reputation, focusing on helping the townsfolk in Magnolia, focusing on improving their community relations while working on eliminating any Dark Guilds and Zeref Cultists that encroach upon their territory but their reputation is not the same as the Golden Years. It is almost reserved, withdrawn-- an animal that has suffered and is grieving needs time to heal and lick their wounds wouldn't be out and about making waves. And while yes, Fairy Tail doesn't make waves, that doesn't mean they're completely docile.

Cana has led their guild to a few victories in the GMG. But they're not of the same caliber, and it is only by the skin of their teeth that they're able to stay afloat. It's a struggle for Cana to keep going. But she can't stop.

But she knows that soon, they'll return.

It's rare that her gift of Sight grants her the boon of seeing the future, but she does see-- it's a glimpse, a fleeting mirage, but her visions have never been wrong. And that is what gives her hope, and that hope is rewarded when 7 years pass and Blue Pegasus greets them with news about Tenrou's disappearance. That is the sign she was looking for and sends out a team to go with BP to search for them. Meanwhile, she prepares herself, all the while dealing with upstart little shits trying to move in on her territory (Twilight Orge) and if there's one thing she won't stand is anyone disrespecting her guild.

And then one day they make a ruckus, looking to pick a fight and claim that she owes them a debt and the rage she feels is hot and deep because the only debt she owes has already been paid with her blood and sweat, and tears and her body--

They're a nuisance that's dealt with in a manner befitting that of one familiar of a dragon slayer's reaction but its recognized.

When they cheer "We're home!" Cana has to fight back the tears. She allows the rest of the guild the chance to greet them, to express their relief and joy before she makes her appearance. The shock of seeing Cana alive when they thought she had died from the Black Dragon's attack is met with equal relief, but Cana cannot take comfort in it-- she doesn't deserve it. They see her and how much she's changed, how well becoming a Master suits her.

She's older, wiser, and a hell of a lot stronger than before, but the years have also burdened her with the weight of responsibility. No one would recognize the same woman from 7 years ago as the same Cana Alberona, but she stands before them with a tired, weary smile, but it is no less filled with joy, heartache, and relief. The price of leadership is a sacrifice of personal autonomy: it means you no longer belong to yourself, but to your peers, your guild, your family -- and Cana has carried this for so long, it is a wonder how she held on. A Guild Master is a leader and shoulders all of the guild's victories and failures and if there's one thing Cana does to make things right, it's own up to her responsibility.

One of her responsibilities is to tell the truth: so, naturally, she did. She confessed what happened that day 7 years ago: she tells them her plan, her thoughts, tells them her whole reason for why she chose to leave the guild, the real reason why...and her secret that she had kept hidden for 12 years. In one fellow swoop, she reveals she is Gildart's daughter, delivering another shock to all but one person. She wouldn't expect absolution. She doesn't deserve it.

But her family is far better than her. She receives understanding. Kindness. Compassion. Acceptance. Forgiveness. From everyone-- because she tried to go back to help fight a futile battle, but more, she took care of the ones left behind. The thanks given to her, by everyone and most especially by Makarov, is humbling and overwhelming.

--even more so is the acceptance and love given by a father to their daughter--

She embraces and accepts the love denied her: a father's love long overdue, she weeps while the guild celebrates.

Today is a day to reacquaint with new faces and old, to learn and accept changes that are faced from the passage of time. But it is also a chance to plan for the future. Cana stood against the threat of irrelevancy that Fairy Tail faced, alone as Guild Master.

Now with everyone reunited, she can finally lay down the sword and rest.

The rest would be up to them now.

I’m not sure what I’m calling it, probably something catchy like Star struck, but Idk.

It was made before the Ruin DLC came out, but might change to a “oh shit these guys are incredibly impressive and we should save their code” kind of thing.

Original idea below cut, along side newer idea(maybe)

This AU is basically biased on two things:

Sun and Moons hight

And my hight.

We don’t have their canonical heights, however we can assume their hight is roughly between 6-7 feet (1.8-2.1 meters)

Guess who else is conveniently in that size range?

Me, or at least me when I finish growing. My family’s average high is 6”4 (193 cm) (which is tall for an afab person)

Now for an afab person who wears heels?

Let’s just say it’s a high range I’m well within, when I’m dressing how I like.

Here’s the basic premise of the AU, my charter Minnie is 6”3 (190 cm) and is a kind of eccentric scientist, who is hired by this company to help create robotic assistants, and security guards.

Minnie hears the rumors around The Fazbear company, and about how advanced their AI is.

Now being a coder, who created almost every bit of these animatronics they have, they are very interested in Fazbear. So with permission from their company, they ask if they can go and see these animatronics in action.

Which animatronic happens to deal with helping people and doing security work? (And has its own cult following?) The Daycare attendant!

So Minnie comes in mid-day to watch the Daycare attendant. Which would have been fine if not for two things:

Minnie insisted that they not know why they were here

Minnie is a 6”5(they wear platforms) goth woman with long burgundy hair and dresses like a Victorian ghost

So this visit goes about as well as you think, and after giving Sun a miniature panic attack after they not only managed to fall into the ball pit, but also get themself on top of a play structure. When the Daycare closes they are throughly interrogated by the rather stressed Sun

Yeah thats the best first interaction Minnie had with All the animatronics in the Pizza plex.

But Minnie isn’t alone in this adventure! No no!

They have their security guard Will to help as well!

Now Will, short for William obviously, is a 5”5 (165 cm) Trans man who got hired my Minnie to help develop the AI of Pegasus, the security guard animatronic they are working on. Picrew of him at end.

Now Will’s actual job description is such: To break into a place Pegasus is in and survive. That’s it. He was originally hired by Minnie to do this by breaking into the building Pegasus was guarding and then steal a box.

The box was his job application forms.

Now Minnie and Will have a strange friendship, and the reason Will got his name is because of a pun.

Will feral.

Now the reason we call Will feral, is because after being hired by Minnie to basically light their few Million dollar robot on fire, he decided to follow Minnie around. Minnie is eccentric and weird and need supervision from both Will and their little helpers.

Minnie being a successful, gender queer who dressed like a Victorian lady in mourning often gets them spotted and harassed. And one day, while on the way to a meeting. Will just started barking at this guy who kept making passes.

At a later date, he had soda in his mouth and started to foam at the mouth while barking at a man who had done something similar.

So Wills second job came around. Minnie’s personal security guard.

And as Minnie’s friend, who gets paid to hang around them, drop to all fours bark and growl at people. It’s understandable that he also asks to be able to foam at the mouth on command.

Wills hole gag is being this feral little goblin man, who is smart and is technically inclined. Except he’d rather bite his friend, and drop to the ground on all fours and start barking and growling like a dog while foaming at the mouth.

If you’ve been paying attention I also mentioned Little helpers.

The Little helpers names are Heart, and Star.

They are two of the other type of animatronic Minnie makes. The assistant type.

Heart is the model body version of Pegasus, and test AI for Star.

Now Heart and Star are designed to run off of air pollution, such as an excess of greenhouse gases. They take that in and convert it into oxygen (like a plant) and run off of that.

It’s Also worth mentioning that Heart and Star are 45 and 69cm tall (1”6 ft and 2”3ft)

Heart and Star run around following Minnie around most times, but they have their jobs in the work place too. As cute as they are. (Image will be below Williams, Heart on the right, Star on the left)

Two more major oc, then I promise I will add the animatronics!

Comet, and Another who we are calling PI, short for Poor Intern.

Now PI is assigned to Will and Minnie after they break into the Pizza plez (instead of Gregory originally) and make Moon create a report on their break in.

Long story short for THAT fiasco is that Minnie wanted to test out Moons reaction to a break in, but wanted to see it in person. So after sending in her hired “thief” they go in, and scare Moon (cause 6”5 human who stops breathing when you look at them and 5”5 human who drops to the floor and starts foaming at the mouth Is Something He Was NOT programmed for) And escape.

Minnie’s company was not impressed and assigned PI to make sure they didn’t break in again.

They did.

And this time they were supervised!

Comet comes in as the Emotional Support security guard, who also gets spooked by the Victorian ghost, feral man, and GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL who break in.

Comet ends up helping them to communicate between companies a lot, and develop Heart and Stars AI.

Comet and Minnie end up as a couple, and PI and Will end up together.

there was a time where someone (coughbickslowcough) accidentally started streaming and just left it on. for like four hours. it was in makarov’s living room where they were all hanging out for a bit. when the legion left laxus turned on his own music and started cleaning. chat was Shocked that there was actually barely any R&R on his playlist. he deleted the vod when he realized it was on.

laxus’s entire playlist has actually been leaked this way. chat does not know how to handle laxus listening to natewantstobattle and fucking luhan.

laxus got back at the legion for that. many times. like when he “accidentally” starts talking in another language and sees someone inching towards the shared lacrima.

all of natsu’s social media (twitter insta and twitch) are unnecessarily popular. he barely posts on the first two and has never even talked in anyones chat on twitch. he doesnt even know how people found it but whenever he tunes into cana’s drinking tournament streams he gets gifted a sub by a different person every damn time. hes a bit concerned.

Mai and Yugi Siblings AU

So, several people have pointed out that Yugi and Mai look like they could be siblings and I really liked that idea and ran with it. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to writing an actual fic, so I figured I’d summarize it here.

So, when Mai is a teenager, she butts heads with her mom a lot and she feels constrained. So she says goodbye to Yugi and runs away.

They don’t see each other until Duelist Kingdom. Mai has heard about Yugi beating Kaiba, so she kind of keeps an eye out on the boat. So when she sees him and Joey, she doesn’t go immediately for bringing out her challenge, but first greets Yugi. When he sees her he hugs her and has to try hard not to cry because he’s missed her so much. Once the reunion is out of the way, she tells him she’s not going to go easy on him. He responds that he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Tea still doesn’t like Mai, but now it’s because she knows how much it hurt Yugi when Mai left and how much he’s missed him and she’s angry at Mai for hurting Yugi like that.

When Mai sees Yugi’s duel with Weevil she’s confused because that is not her brother up there. His friends act like he’s not any different, but she knows better. As soon as the duel is done and Yami’s collected the star chips from Weevil, she drags him off to interrogate him. In this AU Yami is aware that he and Yugi are separate people from the beginning. Mai demands to know who he is and what happened to Yugi. Yami tries to play dumb and insists he is Yugi, but she’s not buying it. Eventually he caves and tells her about how Yugi freed him from the puzzle and how he’s been protecting Yugi since.

Mai isn’t too happy about some spirit possessing her brother without his knowledge. She also asks why Yami is the one dueling. Yugi was pretty good at dueling even when he was younger. She figures he’s even better now.

Atem tells her about Pegasus stealing their grandpa’s soul and the danger of the situation. He also admits that he feels that Yugi’s lack of confidence gets in the way of his ability to duel. Mai is a bit skeptical of the whole soul stealing thing, but then again, she’s talking to some spirit possessing her brother, so maybe it’s possible.

Mai accepts the situation, but she demands that Yami let her tell Yugi what’s been going on and that the minute Yugi doesn’t feel comfortable with it, she’s smashing the puzzle herself.

They end in a sort of truce. They’re each on thin ice with the other. Mai still isn’t sure she likes her brother being possessed and Yami, like Tea, is upset with Mai for hurting Yugi by leaving.

Yugi regains control of the body and Mai explains what Yami told her. He admits that he suspected something but didn’t know for sure what was going on. Mai asks him if he’s okay with Yami sharing his body and he tells her that he is, that the spirit doesn’t seem bad. Mai accepts this. She also says that she will still compete in the tournament against him and that if she’s the one who wins she’ll duel Pegasus for their grandfather’s soul.

When Mai duels Joey, Yugi is a bit torn on who to root for. Then he sees Mai claiming to be a psychic and he’s confused and a bit suspicious. After all, she couldn’t tell what her cards were when he dueled her when they were younger. When they uncover the truth of her aroma strategy, he’s a bit disappointed in her. Mai pretends that his disapproval doesn’t bother her and that she has no reason to be ashamed of the strategies and beliefs she’s developed in regards to dueling while they’ve been apart, but in reality, his disappointment does sting.

Joey still wins. With the combination of Joey beating her, Mai is more open to questioning her approach to dueling. She gets Rex to duel Joey not just because she’s annoyed at losing to Joey, but also as a way to see if there is some merit to Joey’s approach. That’s another reason she forbids Yugi to help. She needs to see if Joey’s approach can carry him through without Yugi and Yami’s intelligence and experience guiding him.

When she storms off when they are eating together that evening, she’s struggling not only with her doubts about how she views dueling, but like in the anime, whether she can really open up to others. She had convinced herself that she was better off by herself and hasn’t quite admitted to herself that she missed Yugi.

With the Panik ordeal, Yugi is obviously even more upset at Panik for bullying Mai. Yami may still not be fully on board with Mai, but he doesn’t hesitate to help.

When Mai finds them after Yugi’s disastrous duel with Kaiba, she’s a bit more empathetic since she knows about his need to win to save their grandpa, but she still takes a bit of a tough love approach. I’m taking more of the sub approach to this bit, where when her duel with Tea snaps Yugi out of it, he accepts Yami again and is ready to fully move forward.

After they get in the castle, Tea pulls Mai aside and tells her the details of what went down with Kaiba. Mai is mad at Kaiba for putting Yugi in that position, but she’s furious with Yami for so obviously fighting Yugi’s will during that duel.

When she duels Yami she reams into him not only about his focus being on Pegasus and not on her, but for how he treated Yugi in his duel with Kaiba. Yugi may have forgiven him, but she hasn’t. She accuses him of thinking that Yugi was weak for stopping him from beating Kaiba. Yami comes to the realizations he comes to in the anime and wins the duel.

Mai sticks around to support Yugi and see if he can save their grandpa. She still gives Joey the card and is there to witness Yugi’s duel with Pegasus. When Pegasus takes them into a shadow game, she joins Yugi’s friends in trying to reach Yugi. She’s a bit skeptical of it working, but she’s desperate to help her brother.

They part ways at the end of duelist kingdom. She tells Yugi to say hi to their grandpa for her, since she isn’t ready to return to Domino and face him and their mom.

Battle city proceeds pretty much as normal. She and Yugi are more upset when the other is in trouble. Yugi is more offended on Mai’s behalf when that actor tries to get her to marry her, because, “Excuse me, that is my sister!”

He’s devastated when Mai loses her shadow game with Yami Marik. I also like the idea of Joey asking Yugi’s permission to be the one to duel to save Mai.

I can’t decide if she would still join DOMA in season 4 or not. I like to think that maybe she and Yugi would keep in contact after Battle City and that being able to call and talk to him might make her feel less alone. On the other hand, I can also see her hiding how she’s truly feeling from him and still giving in to her frustration, resentment, and trauma.

Honestly, I’m not really go down in she refused Valon’s offer to join DOMA.

If she does still join DOMA, Joey would still be her main target, but she would be planning to go after Yugi once she was done with Joey. She feels twice as bad after DOMA since she betrayed not only Joey and the only friends she had, but also her brother.

After Atem moves on to the after life, Tea would contact Mai and convince her to come to Domino because she felt that Yugi needed his big sister in this time when he was struggling to adjust to Atem leaving. If Mai had joined DOMA, this would be the thing that finally got her to come and make amends, since her brother needed her. Otherwise, it would be pretty easy to convince her to come.

I also have an alternate idea of if Atem stayed. She and Atem would eventually have reconciled their doubts about each other and forgiven each other for the times they had each hurt Yugi. They would be the ultimate Yugi protection and support squad. They also would have a bit of a friendly competition as to who could be the better older sibling to Yugi. Or if you ship Yugi and Atem, you could have her teasing Atem and Yugi about their crushes and then giving Atem the shovel talk when they get together.

Fairy Tail Mafia AU Inspired by that One Opening

Because yet again, I have nothing better to do...

All of the guilds are part of a mafia gang. The main mafia gangs are Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, Sabertooth, Quatro Cerberus, Mermaid Heel and Phantom Lord. All of them have separated the city of Magnolia into sectors. Each sector belongs to a guild and is considered their territory. Currently, Fairy Tail and Sabertooth have the most territory.

There are also smaller gangs that are under the direct subordination of the big mafias. Like how Raven Tail is under Phantom Lord's subordination. There are also independent informant gangs like Crime Sorcière and neutral zones like Porlyusica's clinic.

All of the main gangs have a truce going on that stops them from fighting each other. Most of the fighting happens with unaffiliated gangs like Grimoire Heart and Tartaros. The Alvarez Empire is the police.

The guild masters are the mafia bosses. All of the S-class wizards are executives and are in charge of a specific branch of the mafia. Erza is in charge of "making someone disappear" (assassination or hiding people), Mirajane is in charge of brothels and bars, Laxus is in charge of the underground fight rings and Gildarts is in charge of smuggling and weapons trade. Mystogan used to be in charge of information gathering, but he left the mafia a few years back and fled the city. Nobody knows the reason why. Now the information gathering falls on all of the executives, but mostly it's Mira's job.

Gray, Natsu and Happy are part of the raid team and work directly under Erza. Natsu is an arsonist, but you already knew that didn't you? They make a great team because Natsu causes a big distraction by setting something on fire, while Gray and Happy break an entering.

Lucy is a matron at one of Mira's brothels. Her job is to greet the customers and make sure none of the girls get harmed. She also works closely with Gray, Natsu and Levy as their personal informant. People get awfully chatty when they see a pretty face and a little bit of alcohol.

The Thunder God Tribe still works as Laxus' personal bodyguards, but they also have a few side jobs. Bickslow is in charge of one of Laxus's underground fight rings. Evergreen owns a strip club and it's the only not fighting related location owned by Laxus. Freed works closely with informants and is one of the raid team's strategists.

Levy is a diplomat and a collector. She meets with smaller gangs or unaffiliated business and strikes deals. She also goes at certain bars to collect the money made by the purchase of illegal objects/substances. Jet and Droy are her self appointed bodyguards.

Gajeel and Pantherlily are part of the recruitment team. They find new members for the mafia and are in charge of the "initiation". Lily is also an information gatherer.

Cana and Wakaba are drug dealers. Cana also runs a future reading-con at one of Mira's bars. Juvia is in charge of the illegal weapon trade at the port with Aquarius.

The celestial spirits are more like mercenaries for hire that operate independently. Aquarius has a contract with Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus and Mermaid Heel to bring weapons via sea, Pisces have the same contract with Sabertooth, Lamia Scale and Quatro Cerberus. Loke and Sagittarius are hired guns, Crux and Gemini are informants, etc.

Elfman and Lisanna are interrogators. They have the perfect dynamic of good cop-bad cop. Elfman is also part of the raid team.

Macao and Romeo are in charge of communication(basically the postman) and border patrol. Romeo also plans to join the raid team soon.

Bisca, Alzack and Asuka own a tea shop that is secretly a drug dealing spot. Although Asuka doesn't know that last part.

Porlyusica, Wendy, Carla and Grandeeney are working in an underground clinic that is considered a neutral zone. Fighting is forbidden on clinic grounds, breaking the rules leads to having to deal with the big mafias.

Speaking of the dragons, uh yeah, they live. They all used to be part of the Magia Dragon mafia, but after the police found its headquarters it disbanded. Igneel and Metalicana went to prison, Grandeeney joined the underground clinic while Weisslogia and Skiadrum said fuck it and retired.

After Igneel and Metalicana went to prison, Natsu and Gajeel were left all alone to fend for themselves. Natsu joined Fairy Tail while Gajeel joined Phantom Lord and later on Fairy Tail with Juvia. Sting and Rogue joined Sabertooth after someone tried to kill their foster parents. Wendy just chose to do the same thing as her foster mom.

Lucy was sold by her dad to pay off some debt he owed to Bora. Bora tried to start a female slave trade in Fairy Tail's territory. They obviously didn't like that so they busted his operation and rescued Lucy. Then she joined the mafia.

Erza joined the mafia when she was pretty young, but quickly rose through the ranks. She and Jellal were going to be sold on the black market as children, but the police found out and they managed to escape during the raid.

Gray was an orphan who lost his parents in a car accident. He was taken in by Ur, who was a forger, but after the police found her and put her in prison, he joined Fairy Tail.

The way I think most of the fights with the dark guilds would go is: they are unaffiliated gangs that try to get rid of the main mafias and take over their territories. Then they would fight them, but instead of using magic, they use guns.

And that's mostly it. If anyone wants to write a fic based on this, feel free to do so, I don't have the time to.

'Kaldur, what are we doing in Paris? We finished the mission, we should be heading back home.' Said Robin, via mind-link.

'Patience, my friends, I arranged for us to have a day in the city. A vacation, if you will.' Aqualad said to the team.

'Kaldur, I don't know if you noticed but it's night.' Kid Flash was also getting impatient.

'Why are we standing under a bridge with a bunch of locks on it?' Superboy asked. He hated not knowing things.

After busting a minor league drug ring in Versailles they expected to relax in the Bioship until the arrived back in the US, not stand under a bridge.

'Can you at least tell what we need 'patience' for-' Kid Flash whined until he was interrupted by a voice.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my city?" The voice was like steel. In a way it sounded like Batman's. Not in sound, but in its tone of command. It sounded young and feminine.

'Brace your selves.' Said Robin, hands inching towards his tool belt.

'There are 6 of them. Should we attack?' Superboy adds.

'No. These are friends.' Aqualad sounded completely at ease. It would have calmed them if he wasn't always calm and collected.

Before they could refute he walked into the moonlight. They heard the voice take in a sharp breathe. So they recognized them, maybe it will prevent a fight.

"I am no less than a black cat." What? The team had no idea how this conversation took such a turn. What was she saying?

"And I am no more than a desert flower." What was their leader saying? It must have meant something because the voice squealed and a figure clad in red and black polka dots came barreling at him.

'Stand down.' He sound completely unbothered. How could he be so whelmed?

'But she's-' One tried to reason.

'Stand down, she is a friend.' He sounded, breathless? Something was going on, maybe M'gann should do a scan of his mind when they get back.

The force of the girl's impact knocked them both over. They were both smiling, eyes never straying from each others. They got a clear view to analyze the girl. She look developed and fit, but still pretty small. She shouldn't have been able to knock down a door, let alone a military trained Atlantean. Was this a secret Kryptonian?

"You're, you're here," she sounded out of breath, though clearly out of amazement rather than the run. "Oh kwami, it's been to long. Is Roy here too?" How did she know Roy? Did she know all of their civilian I.D.s?

"Sadly no, Speedy is not here. But my team and I are." He said as they stood up. They could see exactly what she was wearing. A red and black skin tight body suit with a open black leather jacket and a hood. The bodysuit was red down to her navel and black the rest of the way. Each of her palms had a black circle with a unknown ideogram in red on them. Her shoes were black army boots with red laces. So she has a theme.

She moved her gaze behind Aqualad to look at the team. They took note of her mask. Her hood covered her forehead and her eyebrows, and she wore a mask connected to her body suit that cover everything nose and down.  Leaving only her eyes exposed.

"Aqualad, who is she?" Artemis asked, hands already itching towards her arrows.

"Team, this is Ladybug. Ladybug, this is the team." He introduced, stepping away to allow them to assess each other.

"It's an honor to meet you all, Aqualad has spoken fondly of all of you. Welcome to Paris." She greeted professionally.

No one returned her greeting. They looked to Aqualad for more context.

He then gestured to Ladybug to speak. "You're probably confused as to who I am. I'm Ladybug, one of the heroes of Paris. We surfaced to reclaim a misused ancient magic artifact."

"Who is we?" Robin asked.

"Well, I realized that one city to one hero wasn't an equal ratio. So I formed a team to take some of the responsibility. Bunnix, Carapace, would you like to introduce yourselves?" A woman with an umbrella jumped from the top of the bridge and a man walked out from the shadow behind Ladybug. Both taller than her. Based on their themes, the man was Carapace and the woman was Bunnix.

"Sure thing, Boss." They said in unison and with exaggerated bows and salutes.

"Good Kwami, don't call me that." She said, pinching her nose.

"Our deepest apologies, Master. We beg your forgiveness." They spoke in unison again and with straight faces, too.

"God damn it, I'm not even fully trained-" She was interrupted by poorly muffled laughter behind her.

"Singe, you've been doing this for 3 years, and you still manage to reveal your presence in almost every situation-" Robin felt like he should interrupt before this escalates.

"Is that an umbrella?" He genuinely wanted to know.

"Are you judging? 'Cause, you shouldn't judge since you spent a year or so running around Gotham in green panties and a pole." Robin blushed in embarrassment. The team looked ready to fight these so called heroes.

"Ryu!" Ladybug reprimanded, looking affronted. Wait, Bunnix didn't say it? Then, who did?

"I'm so sorry about her. They're all really defensive about the umbrella." Okay?

"Who spoke then?" Kid Flash asked, still looking all little miffed about the comment.

"You know, Aqualad, there's enough of us for a spar." She said smirking, and ignoring Kid's question.

"If we're sparring, I want a few minutes with who ever said that stuff about Robin." He said glaring in no particular direction.

"Actually, I was thinking we do a group spar. Aqualad's team versus mine."  She suggested.

No one seemed to be against it.

"Okay then, prepare yourselves-" Aqualad started.

"Wait! I have to call of Pegasus." She brought her hand up to her ear and looked toward a building.

"Woah-woah-woah, hold up, you have a sniper?!" Kid Flash exclaimed, speedily looking around to see them.

"You have to be prepared for anything." She responded after finishing her comm-call.

"Yeah, but still, you have a sniper-"

A turquois portal appeared and a white-haired man in a brown leather bodysuit stepped out of it. His hair was held back in vertical braids gathered in a ponytail. He also wore pitch black sunglasses, even though it was the middle of the night.

"Hello." He greeted the teams before walking to stand next to Bunnix and Singe.

"Let's get ready to spar." Aqualad announced, walking not-to-subtlety towards Ladybug. The teams both walked of to strategize.

"You sure your ready to fight me again? It's been a couple months since our last spar." She quipped with pop of her hip and challenging smirk.

"If my memory is correct, you were the one with the losing streak." He smiled back with his patented sass.

"We'll see about that." They shared eye contact and a firm hand shake.

With a quick turn of a heel, "Formation!"

For more context: Mari and Kaldur were not always this touchy feely. Mari spent a year or so out of Paris to train for Guardian purposes. She would have cataclysm herself before leaving Paris alone. But Tikki and Plagg convinced her that she was unstable with all of the guardian power and she would have to learn to control it. Outside of Paris. So they decided to give out the miraculous and have the new team pass around Tikki and she would take Plagg out of Paris (too many billboards and Plagg wasn't good at emotions).

So she was backpacking America, trying to find someone to help her. Unfortunately someone found her. Namely Aquaman and his partner.  Interrogating her just left them both offended.

But she did learn that she was now fluent in ancient languages, like the guardian language and Atlantean.

They call in the JL for backup and try to interrogate her, until Diana vetoes and pardons her. She offers to take her to Themyscira and train but Arthur vetoes that so now she's going to train with Roy and Kaldur. [Because they are the oldest and I believe that they worked together most pre-canon YJs1.]

5 months and numerous fights later, Roy was tired friendTM of their shit and sat them down to make them talk. They spoke of both versions of the Sinking of Atlantis and came to the agreement that Plagg was sorry for taking things too far and that modern Atlanteans could not be blamed for the mistakes of one of their selfish past monarchs. [king whoever tried to use Plagg's miraculous to conquer and terrorize neighboring kingdoms, so in retaliation Plagg cataclysmed the entire country/city]

After getting over that they both realized, 'Hey, he/she's actually pretty cool."

Everyone kept in touch after she went back to Paris and bitched to each other about teammates and leadership and how it's, quote-unquote, 'unfair that it's legal for Mari to drink but not Roy'

I'm not good with timelines so I'm going to say that, Kaldur still has hopes for him and Tula, Mari's not entertaining anything more than friendship (no distractions), and Roy is too focused on teenaged rebellion.

stargate episodes that should have been, part 20: an alternate reality episode where cam went to atlantis and sheppard joined sg-1. in this universe cam wasn’t injured in antarctica and i think that he is the kind of guy who would go to another galaxy for fun and also because he has to do the Best thing he can possibly do and that’s going to another galaxy. sheppard for whatever reason didn’t sit in the chair but did still fly jack down to antarctica so when they’re looking for sg-1’s fourth jack is like “well there’s this guy i met who kinda reminds me of me except he likes antarctica for some reason” so he becomes sg-1’s fourth under sam’s command. i think at first that would cause issues because of his problems with following orders + sam is new to her command and feeling somewhat insecure about it BUT these issues aren’t with sheppard disobeying sam’s orders they’re just sam worrying that he will. because sheppard only disobeys orders that he sees as bad and from what i remember of s4 + his personality in general he really respects sam. anyways this is actually a 3-parter because you have the sg-1 episode where our sg-1 meets the other sg-1, the atlantis episode where our atlantis people meet the other atlantis people, and then the crossover where they all meet one another because you can’t have the sheppards and the cams not meet themselves. i have no idea where in the timeline it is beyond “not season 4” because there are inconsistencies, but whatever. it’s also very long so i am using paragraph breaks for once!! also i will be putting a 1 after the duplicates from the show universe and a 2 after the duplicates from the au for clarity. (everyone without a number is the only one of themselves present and is from the au). also i definitely got carried away and this is too much plot and not enough character interaction even though i originally thought this one up for the character interactions, oops.

EPISODE 1: SG-1. somehow, our sg-1(1) is pulled through to this other reality. something to do with ba’al messing with some ancient tech in the other reality. the sg-1(2) of that reality, led by sam2 and featuring a major sheppard2, has snuck onto the ha’tak ba’al is using as his base of operations. they run into our sg-1(1) and there’s some spider-man pointing meme and then sam1 and sam2 start discussing how this could have happened while the valas compliment each other’s hair and cam1 and sheppard2 go “wait but you’re supposed to be in atlantis” “no, YOU’RE supposed to be in atlantis.” eventually we find out that ba’al is using ancient tech to develop a hyperdrive capable of traveling between galaxies, which the goa’uld don’t have. his test destination is the pegasus galaxy because he figures that if it works for one jump but then fails, then he can just turn up at atlantis and ask the tau’ri for help again after threatening them lightly to save face. obviously the humans don’t want ba’al going to pegasus, because we like our villains to stay confined to just one galaxy, and also if his hyperdrive works then he could destroy atlantis or ally himself with the wraith or be defeated by the wraith and have his ship captured and now the wraith have an intergalactic hyperdrive or—well, there’s lots of ways it could go wrong, and sg-1(1) gets the point that they need to help sg-1(2) stop ba’al. they spend much of the episode tracking ba’al and sneaking around the ship, until they finally corner ba’al in the engine room and teal’c2 shoots him. unfortunately, they enter hyperspace almost immediately after this, and are captured by… another ba’al. END.

EPISODE 2: ATLANTIS. somehow, our atlantis team1 is pulled through to this other reality. something to do with mckay2 and zelenka messing with some ancient tech in the other reality. our atlantis team1 is quickly locked in interrogation rooms because who are they and why is major sheppard with them instead of colonel mitchell? this tips off mckay1 to the fact that they’re now in an alternate reality. fortunately mckay2 and zelenka have already reached this conclusion and they’re let out of the interrogation rooms just in time for news to reach atlantis that a ha’tak has arrived in pegasus. (and also before ronon1 and ronon2 start fighting instead of just glaring menacingly at one another, because who thought it was a good idea to have ronon2 interrogate ronon1. he didn’t even ask any questions.) alternate weir decides to send the atlantis team2 in to investigate but mckay2 is like “i’ll need someone to help me with the goa’uld tech, we’ll take zelenka” but zelenka is immediately like “no?? there’s another you here. take him. i don’t like leaving the city” so it’s decided that both mckays will go, and you can’t send mckay1 without the rest of his team so EVERYONE is going. they take two jumpers because mitchell2 and sheppard1 both want to fly the jumper. when they arrive through the space gate that the ha’tak is near, they see a badly damaged wraith hive with no life signs. the ha’tak has also taken some damage, but much less, and they’re able to fly through a hole in the hull to board. they detect minimal life signs: two on the bridge, eleven in the cells, and a few others scattered around that must be ba’al’s jaffa. the group decides to split up; they toss a coin and mitchell’s team2 goes to the bridge while sheppard’s team1 goes to the cells. when sheppard’s team1 arrives at the cells, they find them unguarded but locked. mckay1 cracks the lock and we see the cell doors slide open. cut to the bridge. when mitchell’s team2 arrives, they see one of the dots on the life signs detector begin to fade. mckay2 gets the door open just in time to see ba’al collapse to the floor, having been fed on by a wraith. END.

EPISODE 3: CROSSOVER. what the hell, ba’al is in a wraith now. (i’ve always wondered about what would happen if the goa’uld met the wraith; would they fight and if so who would win? or would a goa’uld take a wraith as a host? is that even possible? i say yes because it’s Fun.) the symbiote entered the wraith and then promptly fed on his former host because he was hungry. this is obviously Terrible News because the wraith are bad enough but tbh they’re not very smart. ba’al is. mitchell’s atlantis team2 all point their weapons at him and radio sheppard’s atlantis team1 to let them know there’s now a goa’uld with a wraith host. sheppard1 responds and says “ok, we’ll we’ve got two sg-1s here. and also todd” to which mitchell2 replies “who the hell is todd?” (“pale skin, long hair, likes to suck your soul out with his hand but makes it weird by returning your soul ten minutes later?” “oh you mean casper.” “what the hell kind of a name is casper?” “what the hell kind of a name is todd?!”) we find out that “casper”, who is of course alternate todd but was named casper by mitchell2, was on the hive ba’al disabled. he and one other wraith were taken aboard the ha’tak, and he was put in the cell for later in case the first implantation of a wraith didn’t work. he’s willing to help everyone defeat wraith ba’al, because goa’ulds taking wraith as hosts is bad for the wraith too. so they do some stuff, and with much difficulty, kill wraith ba’al. it’s harder than killing a normal wraith because he has the goa’uld regenerative ability, and also he keeps feeding on his jaffa to recover after being shot. eventually they manage to trick him into a set of rings and space him. then they have to decide what to do with the ha’tak. casper wants it for himself because of the intergalactic hyperdrive and turns on them. they manage to activate the self destruct and flee back to the jumpers. they believe that casper is destroyed in the self destruct, but he survives somehow. the rest of the episode is the sams, mckays, and zelenka trying to figure out how to send sg-1(1) and the atlantis team1 home. we also get a few character moments between everyone and their counterparts: cam2 and both sheppards discuss puddlejumpers while cam1 is sad because he doesn’t have the gene and never received gene therapy so he can’t fly a puddlejumper. they break into medical to convince beckett to give cam1 the gene therapy; they’re pretty sure it’ll work on him since it worked on cam2. it does, and the cams and the sheppards immediately have a race to the mainland and back. (the sheppards win, but it’s close, and the cams try to blame it on the fact that cam1 has never flown a jumper before while everyone else has.) the daniels go to the library together and share their knowledge about the ancients and the ori; mostly they know the same stuff but they do both learn a few new things. the ronons fight one another. it’s a draw. the teylas and the teal’cs watch the ronons fight, and then meditate. the valas flit between each of the groups and compare their versions of everyone. vala1 ends up in weir’s office and bugs her with a bunch of questions until weir actually puts down her work and just Hangs Out. vala2 ends up with the cams and the sheppards because she’s absolutely best buds with sheppard2 and desperately wants to meet sheppard1. anyways after everyone hangs out for awhile they go home and it’s a very :) ending, which is what they need after All That.

i like this character swap idea a lot because after watching the pegasus project i was kinda chomping at the bit for more character interaction between sheppard and the rest of sg-1. particularly vala. more after the cut cause i wanna yell about all the other stuff i love about this!!

i also like the idea of sheppard not being in the team leader position. it makes me wonder what him following orders offworld, particularly sam’s, would look like. i don’t remember him and sam butting heads over command decisions in quite the same way him and elizabeth did at the start (sheppard wanting to go go go, make slapdash decisions, usually in an effort to help people, altho sometimes misguided, particularly in hot zone, vs elizabeth who was often looking towards a less militaristic approach, i.e not trading explosives to the genii, not torturing a POW etc. and who took her time making decisions). but then again, both sam and john are military. so, it’d be interesting to see how sam manages him along with the rest of the team. also, since hes not in a leadership position (no ones counting on him to keep the team together), would he be even more gungho about the self-sacrifice play? or just the same as ever? anyway, enough about john (once i start, i can’t stop, it seems), let’s get into the episodes!!

Episode 1:

and the wraith potentially stealing hyperdrive technology is DEFINITELY something sg teams of all universes and galaxies should team up to put a stop to. a whole new galaxy to feed on?? not to mention earth??? NOT GREAT. the situation definitely calls for earth’s mightiest heroes squared.

also i appreciate a good sneak on an alien ship. especially times 2. and who would partner with who?? so many fun character combos!

Episode 2:

LMFAO OKAY. ronon vs ronon is such a ronon thing that i laughed out loud. both of them would definitely wanna know which one was tougher. also. also. i would love for zelenka and mckay1 to have a science twin moment and mckay2 to get all proprietary and be like “get ur own!”

i can’t imagine rodney would get along all that well with himself so its a good thing the rest of the teams will be there to run interference. and be separated on the ride there bahaha. cam and sheppard would totally fight over who gets to fly the cool spaceship (the teylas look at each other with raised eyebrows of sympathy and respect. both teams require them to pull on their reserves of infinite patience).

OOOO and ending on a CLIFFHANGER and INTRIGUE, QUICKLY, to the next episode!

Episode 3:

u kno, i was thinking earlier, after reading the first episode, what would an interaction between goa’uld and wraith look like? my immediate thought was, they are either gonna join forces to crush the stupid humans or fight because the goa’uld kinda need those humans for indentured servitude and, u kno, living. or, u kno, they would fight just because their ginormous egos clashed. but NEVER did the thought occur to me that a goa’uld might take a wraith as its host for its superior genetic makeup over humans (super strength, jedi mind tricks, telepathy etc.) and this is why ur brain is amazing. and a smart, conniving creature in control of a wraith body…spells trouble. and i didn’t even consider the double healing factor which would make any wraith on par with an uber wraith (that i dont remember ever seeing after the defiant one lol).

also cam naming his todd casper means everything to me. his ability to drop movie/pop culture references no one gets/appreciates is extremely endearing.

another amazing thing about this; sam actually gets to science with mckay and zelenka FOR ONCE. i’m really sad we were deprived this in season 4, like i get sam was the leader of the expedition in that season, and it wasn’t her job to be doing science/where is the time, but u can’t take the science out of the girl, no sir. i just wanted the beautiful mind children to be techno babbling it up, all with a begrudging respect for one another, as everyone stares in awe and confusion.

and cam gets to fly cool spaceships!!!! for leisure! with no one threatening his life! he did not get to do enough flying imo. and the teyla’s definitely deserve meditation time after dealing with double of their rambunctious team. and YES elizabeth deserves to have fUN. vala is the best person to help her with that. and vala and sheppard!!!! being buds!!! ALL I HAVE EVERY WANTED FROM STARGATE! what a fantastic ending to a wonderful series of episodes.

first impressions with levail! | open

Levail has always been fascinated by fliers, both graceful and deadly. He admires their devotion to their mounts, as well--a facet of chivalrous life that he simply does not have access to as an infantryman. (An infantryman who is just a little bit afraid of horses.) Still, because pegasus knights are a) uniformly female and b) very vulnerable to arrows, he cannot separate even the most seasoned pegasus knights from his vaguely chauvinistic view that women are damsels who need to be protected.

The idea of a savvy, calm, collected pegasus knight is a challenge to Levail's views on gender: one which he is just now becoming ready to interrogate. For that reason, I think Fiora has captured Levail's intrigue.
