What i don't get is i know there is no time frame. Past therapist and client can become friends. If it gets sexual that's when things get a little different but there are no state laws about it.

And I keep thinking she just doesn't want you in her life. Or she doesn't trust you. Or she thinks you're crazy. Or she thinks you'll report her bc she thinks you're a crazy vengeful person.

Or she plans to be with you and wants to put significant time between our past relationship and the potential new one. But that's just me being hopeful. Id rather have her be happy with her husband truth be told. I'd hate to know she's been miserable for years. I wish she would let me be there for her.

It hurts to know she may actually think I'd use it against her when I never would. I just tell myself her hands are tied and one day she will show up and if she doesn't hopefully you forget about her.

I guess the part that kills me is I know we shared a deep connection. Termination was traumatic for the both of us and that's why I don't get why you aren't here.

Insurnace will only pay for one. I'm just going to get another pair of glasses. It makes the most sense. Cause If I can't put the contacts in and take them out then I'm shit out of luck for another two weeks but I get a full scrip for 2 years.... so I mean it's debatable.

I mean I got to see how much they are, glasses are expensive but I think contacts are more especially since you got to buy them every month.

Insurance makes sense but my eye phobia kinda gets in the way.

Maybe I'll get glasses through insurance this time and try to get a pack of contacts myself and them transition over the following year if I can do it.

I can't imagine doing it tbh... it's probably going to be a complete waste..

I went to the dentist today, I read their reviews before going and they weren't good...I tried to get an appt with other places but they would have pushed me out to July. My teeth had gotten significantly more yellow and I had tartar build up in my front bottom teeth...

So I took over 100 pictures and made a plan. I went in there, brought up my receding gumline on one tooth and how I wanted to get an estimate on a gum graft and then I took out my phone making sure the hygienist and tech saw the photos I took of all angles of my teeth. Bottom, top, inner and outer. I wanted them to know I had pictures.. I brought up wanting to go for a 6 month cleaning. My insurnace only covers yearly but I've been saving money not buying pot... I didn't say that to them... but like I really care about my oral hygiene so I'm actually planning to go every 6 months.

Anyways then I proceeded to tell them about the tartar and the plaque I expected them to remove... they started talking about a deep cleaning..

I pulled out my photos and I said, this tartar developed over the last 18 days, and I know it can be removed without a deep cleaning. I had teeth photos from 2/29/24 without tartar and 3/18/24 my fully mouth photos.

I said if you can't remove it I'm going to leave, I know it can be removed without a deep cleaning and I'd rather wait a couple months and go elsewhere If you won't remove it.

Then he changed roll and was like I can remove it but that doesn't mean it won't regrow back.. that's not how tartar works but yea.. and I didn't argue with about that even though I know he was wrong. I just said, that's fine but I expect it to be gone when I leave here..

I was talked about gum grafts I absolutely cannot afford without a credit card cause I need about 6 teeth done but 1 really needs it in a few years and the 6 month cleaning cause I wanted them to know I'm willing to invest in my smile. I also wanted them to see the photos I had and see damn well I'm going to be a fucking nightmare if they don't take care of my issues.

So they removed the tartar and got my teeth in front nice and white. My appt was 4-5 p.m. They "kicked" me out at 4:57 p.m half assing the rest of the entire cleaning. They worked hard on the front. It looks better than expected... but they really fucking half asses scraping the molars and pre molars... and I mean sincerely. Even the weird thing that makes your teeth feel grainy, she didn't put all over my teeth.

Worst part is- they didn't even have a doctor there that day so I have to go back on the 12th of April to talk to the doctor and figure out if I have a cavity and talk about my "grooves." Or potentially broken fillings... they didn't say i had any of this but grooves but obv I need to go back. When she ran the pokey tool over my teeth checking for cavities she half assed that too.. but yea I'm pissed I got to go back. I'm pissed that they half assed 90% of my exam...

Bare in mind the photos I took were so good and so thorough I can clearly see the molars top and bottom both sides and there wasn't much plaque and I don't think there was tartar but there might be in one spot.... idk if she got that but I'm done obsessing over my teeth for now. I'm going to go to the appt and hear the verdict..

For my next appt, in 6 months, I'm going back to the place I went last year, which was a shitty poverty place but they were TOO thorough. Idk if it was a trainee cause someone was with her but it was the most thorough yet uncomfortable cleaning i have ever had. I wanted a place in-between being too thorough and of course I didn't want a place that was going to half ass 90% of the exam..

The place i went to last year as I stated was too thorough but that's better than a place that half asses things. She opened all my gum pockets measured them. Started pulling at my teeth hard with an instrument to measure how secure they were in my gum/jaw.... it was a little over the top. Nonetheless they are a community place and they likely have the cheapest out of pocket cost.. and I'll just tell them they can look at mygum pockets once I thoroughly research if that's normal... but that they can't yank on my teeth like last time it was uncomfortable and i don't want them to do that. That should make it a good thorough cleaning without the uncomfortable yanking and hopefully no measurements of my gum pockets...I'm calling sometime this week to see the cost and depending on the cost I may call around but I think I'm going to stick with them...then I can get the gun graft estimate.

Moving on to more potential out of pocket costs, the grooves are natural a lot of people have them and that's why I keep getting plaque on my top front teeth, not the front two but the ones that are right next to both of them... it makes sense the plaque is hard to keep up with i try but from my chrest whitening 20 day treatment ending in early January to March 18th it's like I didn't even do the chrest whitening treatment... smoking doesn't help but I can't stop thanks to my hallucinations ... I know they are going to bring up sealants to cover the grooves which would make them less prone to getting plaque... it doesn't help that they are slightly under my front top teeth cause they are crooked and turned inwards...

I hate that I have to go to this joke of a place but cavities and some procedures are covered by my shitty insurance. Sealants would not be neither would gum grafts. My insurance would rather pull a healthy tooth out and pay for a fucking denture prosthetic than pay for a gum graft. They won't even cover a implant. It would have to be removable.. my recession isn't that bad yet, point is I have yo take care of it in the next like 5-10 years if I want to keep the premolar and I absolutely do....

The sealant isn't worth it, I won't pay out of pocket for it, I'll just pay out of pocket for one 6 month cleaning and have my insurance cover the annual and all cavities... I have a feeling if I do 6 months cleanings and do chrest whitening once a year. It isn't recommended to do it more than once a year... and if I use specific tooth paste I can make it work with my heavy smoking...

I have been using Sensodyne Proenamel which has potassium nitrate in it which is good for whitening and recommended for sensitive teeth and can repairs enamel, I don't really need that but I do have cold sensitivity.. and I appreciate the potassium nitrate.

I've also been using parodontax which has stannous fluoride in it which is good for gingivitis which I have bc I'm a smoker. I also have been using Crest gum care mouth wash. It has cetylpyridinium chloride in it. I'm going to research what ingredient in Mouthwash I need to keep my gumline as healthy as I can. That's next on the list. Idk if cetylpyridinium chloride is the best for gingivitis.. It's called gum care but that doesn't mean it actually has the right ingredient in it. I'll find out soon and either keep it or replace it depending on what I find.

I just bought two new toothpastes I will use sparingly. Arm and Hammer Advanced White, it has baking soda- sodium bicarbonate. It's good for whitening teeth but slightly abrasive. It also had tetrasodium Pyrophosphate in it which is the right ingredient for tartar control. I plan to use this once a week as it's abrasive and use Sensodyne and parodontax every day. The day I use it I'll use Arm and hammer in the morning and then parodontax at night. Now I'm tracking this in my sleep tracker as well as all meds I take and when I take them and of course my food Intake. My sleep tracker has gotten rather intensive. I know every drug I've taken everything I've eaten, when I have fallen asleep, how many hours when I've woken up for a month at least. And the month before that I wasn't tracking food cause I wasn't on a diet but I was tracking everything else.

Anyways I also bought colgate baking soda and peroxide. It has sodium monifluorophosphate. Which is a great whitening ingredient. It has baking soda and peroxide in it obv.. this is slightly abrasive as well especially for a gingivitis gumline that doesn't look too bad other than really 1 tooth. Despite the other 5 needing the gum graft in prob 15 years...I plan to use this once every 2 weeks. I'll use it in the morning, the week after I use Arm and Hammer and then I'll use parodontax.

Hopefully this nee regiment works. You rally got to look at ingredients when buying tooth paste and mouthwash. They all promise whitening and plaque control and tartar control and protection from gingivitis... but the truth is when you look up ingredients best for this and that, and then you look at tooth paste you'll see very clearly that looking at the ingredients really matter.

Anyways the top photo is day 20 of the Chrest Whitening Treatment it was early January like the 7th.. the second photo is March 18th before the appointment. You can see how bad they got so quickly. Only 2 months and that tartar snuck up on me. And the bottom is after the cleaning.

The results of the cleaning in front look amazing. I didn't bother looking too hard at the back I know they barely ran a tool over it.. the results from the cleaning is 100% better than Chrest Whitening Strips. It still had a yellow tint but nonetheless looked great. I plan to do that every December. Worst case I'll ne a Whitening pen for my grooves... but the downhill from January to March is extensive. I'm hoping my new treatment plan and 6 months dental cleanings make a difference.

I'll have to wait to gum grafts for a credit card and I'll actually have to quit cigarettes.... I would if I ever stopped hallucinating... anyway they spent prob 15 minutes on my front top and bottom. And spent like 2-3 minutes maximum including the grainy stuff on the rest of my teeth. But yea I can't complain about the results. Once I see the doctor I'm never going back.

Either way at least that tartar is gone and they got that awful yellow plaque.
