My entry to The Aussie Artist's 30K followers contest over on instagram, to create a Convergent or Regional form changing the pokemon types according to this format

I choose to change the TYRANITAR's line Rock type for Bug

Changing TYRANITAR's line from Rock to Bug was kind of an obvious choice since both LARVITAR and PUPITAR already had "Larvae" and "Pupa" in their names, the only challenge was to turn TYRANITAR itself into a bug

LARVITAR (Bug/Ground) is based on a Thorn Bug, I choose this due to their similar looking bodies and colors,

PUPITAR (Bug/Ground) is not really based in any particular cocoon or pupa, even tho there are several species with spiky cocoons out there

KATYRANITAR (Bug/Dark) s the regional evolution of this line, it is based on the Armored Katydid or Armored Bush Cricket, a type of giant predator katydid from Africa. This bug fitted TYRANITAR perfectly as it is the "armor pokemon".

KATYRANITAR legs are actually really long but remain folded most of the time. Due to its large size, hoping would be too hard, so they only use them in very specific situations, like pouncing over a prey from a long distance, or getting away quickly from a fight with a larger member of their species, as they are cannibals.

"but spacie, i have no followers why should i reblog things" let me answer this question using myself, a person who has been using tumblr for almost a decade now, as an example. pre 2022 the most followers i ever had was like 125. most of them were dead blogs. killed in the porn ban or just people who had left for whatever reason. out of the people left who were still active, i had like 3 people at the most interact with my blog on a monthly basis. for years b4 this, i had ZERO FOLLOWERS but upon making my blog i saw all the other ppl who had been using this website longer than me talking abt how important it was ta reblog shit, and throughout all these years on tumblr, even when i had no followers i reblogged things. b/c i understood that it was integral ta the way this site functions.

now mind you, just b/c i had no followers didn't mean ppl wouldn't stop by and reblog things from my blog. every couple months id have a new person find me and reblog something. maybe they'd reblog a lot of stuff! the point is that id go months without any interaction at times and i STILL reblogged things because i knew people could find me and see something they liked on here. eventually people who frequently checked my blog ta see what i would reblog followed me!! im sure there’s ppl who dont follow me that ta this day who still reblog the stuff on here!! the point is that it genuinely doesnt matter how many followers you have. sure, it certainly helps, but ppl can still find and interact with the things on your blog without you having thousands or even hundreds of followers. so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reblog things.

Teemu and Henri got me in tears all over again.

It’s the way they didn’t come here to win. They didn’t even come here to try. They knew they didn’t stand a chance and they did not care. They came here to make everyone forget all the awfulness in the world for a few insane minutes of chaotic madness and just smile, and I have the endless utmost respect for any performer that is here for the pure unapologetic joy of it.

Though I didn’t win the art contest but I did had fun! 😄😄 Remember this: winning art contests isn’t always the main thing, it’s all about emphasizing the value of personal growth, self-expression, and the joy of creating over external recognition. It highlights that art is about the journey of self-discovery, creativity, and sharing one’s unique perspective with the world. Even if you don’t win, the experience of learning, connecting with others, and expressing yourself authentically holds more lasting value than a trophy or prize. Therefore, I had fun participating this and I love this concept drawing of mine featuring Dixie! I always love watching those cute fox videos, such precious and adorable little fluffy critters. I wish the entire organization of SaveaFox Rescue to continue saving foxes from fur farms and giving them beautiful, opened homes to run away and feel free. That’s all.
