Does this mean Sera spoke to Josephine before she proposed to the Inquisitor?? Sera has spoken with Ruffles when it came to Red Jenny contracts, but asking for wedding advice is so cuuuute. Especially when Sera doesn't share the same wardrobe aesthetic lol

I believe a lot of people were pissed about how in Sera's romance with elf you have to admit that everything about elvish heritage is bullshit and doesn't matter to procceed with relationship. And they have a right to, you know, Sera is an annoying little manchkin (affectioned). Yet I can't help but think...

Her childhood-cookie-arc? The one about pride and keeping your face instead of caring and conceding? Sure, standing by what you believe is good and all. But sometimes... Sometimes, when you love - truly love someone - you can afford to be a little wrong, or a little silly, or a little dishonest. For their own sake.

What Sera needs is a friend and a loved one who can accept her, can reassure her that everything is ok. That she is alright and won't be judged. She needs a safe place to turn her back to. And then she'll learn to accept the world too with all it's differences and will be willing to take on a little more serious things. She learns and matures a little bit, as Trespasser shows us: just a bit so not to loose any of her chaotic charm to it. Does it really matter to your own belief you lie to her about your true opinion? Will you become less of a Dalish? Or less interested in it? I don't think so. But it matters to her. Like, a lot. So...bury your pride a little, will ya?

My not very fresh take on not so very fresh game. But I stand by it.

thinking about how sera and the inquisitor have been married for a decade at this point if you romanced her. they're safe and happy and together, and no amount of world-breaking carnage was strong enough to part them for long, no number of megalomaniac god-mages managed to diminish their love or dedication to one another in the intervening years.
