Her sponsor replaced her with no warning because she took maternity leave and she had to retrain on a new boat on short notice.

An anon accused her and her husband of cheating in the previous race and they had to get investigated.

She had to sacrifice one of her most important sails early on to save her mast.

Her foil control system broke and had to be propped up with wooden wedges in the Southern Ocean.

A huge wave shorted out all her computers and she had to cannibalize a new system from the working parts.

But as of last night, CLARISSE CRÉMER HAS COMPLETED THE 2024-25 VENDÉE GLOBE!

Before leaving, you said you were leaving to rediscover both the planet and yourself. Did you manage to find the Clarisse you sought?     I've had four rather unusual years, I don't know what part of me has hung onto this Vendée Globe, even I can't explain it. I had 25 opportunities to stop everything, and it probably would have made my life a lot easier, but there was a part of me that didn't budge, and I followed that animal instinct, and each time, it was at sea that I found the answers and I said to myself "that's what I'm here for". But I am still unable to describe the "for that"! It's just that you know you have to be there! This Vendée Globe, from the first equator, I said to myself "it's okay, I've won all the battles, I'm here, and I'm making my life". I was supposed to be in this Vendée Globe, and even though these four years destroyed my self-confidence, now I did a giant 77-day therapy, and it feels so good!

Hey I just came here to say I absolutely love your work. I've been into One Piece for awhile now, and throughout that time I've read just about every fic Tumblr provided. I've never commented on fics until only a few months ago, but now that the floodgates have opened I need every author I've ever read from to know how much I appreciate them.

Like, your works mean so much to me. I think about them all the time and come back to reread them whenever I can. They've helped me in my life so many times. They've inspired me to write for myself and indulge in my favorite show. I might cry as I'm writing this down because I can't really put into words just how much I love them. They're so important to me.

Team Malizia's IMOCA race yacht is back in the water with a new set of foils || Sail-World

Spring has made its way to Lorient. The first flowers are blooming and the IMOCA racing boats are, just like the blossoms, gradually appearing, emerging one by one from their sheds after three months of winter refit. Yesterday, Team Malizia launched their Malizia - Seaexplorer and now she is back in her usual spot at La Base harbour. With a few adjustments and a new pair of foils, both the boat and team are ready to start the first training sessions and solo races of the year.

Visiting the Transat-winning IMOCA Paprec Arkéa at One Brooklyn Marina!

But wait, where were all of the others? The website said several IMOCA racers had their designated slips here! Fortunately, some members of the Prysmian Group support team were around setting up fenders, so I asked them! It turns out most of the racers found the conditions and facilities at the other Brooklyn marina, Moonbeam Gateway, more suitable and moved there. According to MarineTraffic, Holcim, Maitre Coq, Bureau Vallee, Malizia, and Initiatives Coeur are all at Moonbeam, next to the old Floyd Bennett Field within Gateway National Recreation Area.

I wasn’t able to get there today, but I’m going to try on Sunday when we’re in the area.
