Sfânta Vineri, our fairy tale grandma.

Be kind to old women kneeling by the church door because that's how Vineri(Friday) spends most of her time and you don't want to show a goddess you're an ass. When she's not praying for the forgivness of mankind Vineri is lending a helping hand to a Făt-Frumos or Cosânzeană, being the most frequent magical helper in fairy tales. There is a version of her being a mean old widow who wonders the world punishes women who work on her day by destroying their work and making a mess in their house untill you trick her to leave and you need to put all vessels upside down to prevent her from comming back. That is most likely the older version because it mentions her having temples and some still use her old name Venera-which, yes, comes from Venus cause Rome wasn't Rome without her genetrix. But that lost popularity to the saintly version which is heavealy associated with saint Paraschiva, especially in Moldova, basil being a flower sacred to both of them.

Ileana Cosanzeana is the female equivalent of Fat Frumos (Prince Charming). Even if it's not always stated, she is a fairy, smart and mischievous, initiated in white magic; she often has as advisor and sidekick a stallion.

She is always very beautiful and brave, somehow like the Amazon women, but without their hatred for men. In some variants, she might be confused with the fairy or the Queen of Flowers, a Goddess of Spring (whom might be, at root, the Roman Goddess Flora).

She often has superior and complex mythic versions: the ones in which she lives on the Other Realm (a magical, paralel dimension), which can be reached only through a tunnel of darkness from the edge of the world.

In stories, she is often kidnapped by a dragon and locked away in a tower, castle or taken to the Other Realm. She is saved, in these versions, by Fat-Frumos, whom, on his way to Ileana, goes through a series of trials. In the end, he defeats the dragon, rescues her, marries her and they live happily ever after.

I discovered that i'm a lesbian when i was 13 years old so, i was more gay and stressed than gay and relaxed :))My mom found out random that i m like that and it didn't very well. She still thinks that i will come back home with "Fat-frumos" but i want my "Ileana-Cosanzeana".I think that it s better to keep private you gay life like Hannah Montana did, and then risee and shine, but only when you think it s the time and nothing can stop you. As a teenager, you need you parents' support for everything and it s better for you to keep this secret a little more. My friends are very supportive with me and i truly appreciate them for everything. It's very hard to change mentalities, just live your life and don't care about the other, because nobody is perfect and they hate what they don t understand. Your happiness depends just on you and your choices shouldn't bother anyone. I support you and if you need anything, i am here. Take care ❤🌈
