Siang.
Kau pula, berselindung dibalik kejahatan kau. Pelik tapi benar. Aku tak tipu mak bapak aku, tapi kau banyak sembunyikan kehidupan serba bebas kau sebab family kau warak.
Kita mungkin jatuh cinta, tapi tak sama. Kau sayang aku betul ke tipu ke, aku pun tak tahu. Aku? Mungkin fall in love tapi pun tak ikhlas sepenuhnya but we eventually fell for one another with different intentions.
Aku dah tahap bersedia nak galas tanggungjawab besar, kau pun sama tapi! Tapi kau tak kuat dalam perjuangan kita.
Masa aku jatuh, sakit merana kau tinggalkan aku.
“I’m sorry but I don’t want you to be my last choice.” Aku ingat lagi ayat kau. Hurtful, aku turun dari kereta aku ingat lagi aku tak pandang kau lansung sampai aku masuk dalam tempat yang kau turunkan aku. Hari tu, hari terakhir aku dapat tengok kau. Dengar suara kau, tapi kau lemah.
I wasn’t worth fighting for. Period.
My three fucking years was simply wasted.

PODSERIES: TRAITS OF THE SOUL – PART 14
Tumblr media
The next negative trait of the soul is vain and evil speech, such as lying. A muslim should only speak words which are beneficial to them in this world or in the next. This has been advised in a Hadith found in Sahih Muslim, number 176. They should avoid evil words as this will cause them harm and avoid speech which is neither sinful nor beneficial namely, vain speech, as this will only waste their precious time which will be a great regret for them on Judgment Day. A muslim should remember that it only takes a single evil word to cause them to plummet into Hell on Judgment Day. This is confirmed in a Hadith found in Sunan Ibn Majah, number 3970.
The next negative trait of the soul is being stingy. The root cause of this trait is the excess love of the material world. A muslim should remember that whatever they hoard will only be left behind for others to enjoy while they are held accountable for it. Whereas, whatever they send ahead in the form of charity will testify on their behalf on Judgment Day. In addition, according to the Hadith found in Jami At Tirmidhi, number 1961, the miser is far from Allah, the Exalted, far from people, far from Paradise but close to Hell. Whereas, the generous person is close to Allah, the Exalted, close to people, close to Paradise and far from Hell. If a muslim struggles to dedicate time beyond the obligatory duties in pleasing Allah, the Exalted, the least they can do is be very generous for the sake of Allah, the Exalted, hoping this attitude will lead to their salvation.
Among the negative traits of the soul is being deluded by false praise they receive from people. A muslim should remember that they know themselves better than others in respect to their secret actions and intentions. Therefore, they should never become deluded by the praise of people and instead understand it will not save them from the punishment of Allah, the Exalted, as He is fully aware of all their actions and intentions.

Discover the Beauty of Short Surahs: A Guide to Meaningful Verses
Tumblr media
Welcome to our comprehensive guide on short surahs! In this article, we will delve into the beauty and significance of these concise chapters from the Quran. Short surahs are not only easy to memorize but also hold profound meaning and spiritual lessons. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned reader, this guide will provide valuable insights and help you connect with the divine messages contained within these surahs. So, let's embark on this enlightening journey through the world of short surahs.
Short surahs hold a special place in the hearts of Muslims worldwide. These concise chapters, known as surahs, are scattered throughout the Quran and offer unique insights and spiritual lessons. In this article, we will explore some of the most beloved and impactful short surahs, uncovering their messages and significance.
Surah Al-Fatiha:
We begin our journey with Surah Al-Fatiha, the opening chapter of the Quran. It consists of just seven verses but encapsulates the essence of the entire Quran. Known as the "Opening" or "The Opener," this surah teaches us the importance of seeking guidance from Allah and recognizing His sovereignty in our lives.
Surah Al-Ikhlas:
Next, we encounter Surah Al-Ikhlas, a powerful chapter that emphasizes the oneness of Allah. With just four verses, it reaffirms the fundamental belief in monotheism, reminding us that Allah is indivisible and transcends all. Surah Al-Ikhlas is often referred to as the "Sincerity" or "Purity" and serves as a reminder to devote our worship solely to Allah.
Surah Al-Kawthar:
Surah Al-Kawthar is one of the shortest surahs in the Quran, comprising only three verses. Despite its brevity, it carries a significant message of abundance and gratitude. The surah celebrates the blessings bestowed upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and encourages believers to be grateful for the favors Allah has bestowed upon them.
Surah Al-Asr:
Surah Al-Asr, with its three verses, draws attention to the value of time and the fleeting nature of life. It reminds us of the importance of using our time wisely and engaging in righteous deeds. The surah warns against wasting time and encourages the pursuit of truth, patience, and good deeds.
Surah An-Nasr:
Our exploration of short surahs would be incomplete without mentioning Surah An-Nasr. Consisting of only three verses, it highlights the victory and success that comes with the help of Allah. Revealed near the end of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) life, this surah serves as a reminder of the triumph of Islam and the significance of steadfastness.
Conclusion:
Short surahs are gems within the Quran, offering concise yet profound spiritual guidance. From the powerful opening of Surah Al-Fatiha to the timeless wisdom of Surah Al-Asr and beyond, these surahs hold valuable lessons for all believers. By pondering over the meanings and incorporating them into our lives, we can enhance our spiritual connection with Allah. So, embrace the beauty of short surahs, explore their depths, and let their teachings resonate within your heart.

For the Muslim's Asks: 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 37, 42,43, 49,50,63,67,71,77, 79, 81, 84, 88, 89, 96 and 99! I'm so so sowwy, is this a lot?! I couldn't miss the chanace 👀... But feel free to answer whenever you want, and leave what you don't want to answer.. 😅💕
Tumblr media
You ask so many but that's okay!! I'll try to answer them all, and if I don't that's because I'm super clumsy and I probably forget. Under the cut because I think it will probably be long!
7. If you’re a girl do you wear hijab, if you’re a guy do you dress modestly and grow your beard?
I do! I believe what I wear is called khimar? I mean, if this picture is true.
Tumblr media
In here we called everything 'kerudung' so.....
9. What’s the most challenging thing about being a Muslim?
I live in a muslim majority country so I don't think I have a lot of challenging thing, I guess for me it's halal food? It's not super hard to find it, but some food doesn't have halal license, including some cakes and stuff I used to buy. My family was once got a Klaapertart from someone and I immediately eat it then my mother said that Klaapertart had rum aroma--I didn't know how rum's aroma is:( May Allah forgive me.
I feel like I have to clarify that just because it doesn't halal certified, doesn't mean it's automatically 100% haram? But it's just no way to find out I can eat it or not and the prophet Muhammad Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said we have to avoid doubt, so......
11. Who’s your favorite Muslim speaker/lecturer/Sheikh and why?
Ahhh you may not know someone from my country, the one I like to listen is Aa Gym, his full name is Abdullah Gymnastiar. I know I have a lot of Indonesian follower and idk how they'd react to me saying this haha, because he is a bit...controversial?
I think what made me like him is because he never afraid to tell the jama'ah about his journey? I never see him brush it aside, he even always uses it as example for us to not go where he goes. There'sa lot of thing I like about him but I think this is why he became....one of Muslim lecturers that I like to hear. I don't want to say favorite because I don't think it's right to have a favorite :'D
For international speaker, I like to listen to Mufti Menk, I like the topic he uses for his speeches and also his intonation is clear so it's easier for non-english speaker like me to understand!
(Edited--I'm sorry for removing a lot because.........well. I don't know who to believe but let me just say gossiping is very dangerous)
14. Who’s your favorite reciter?
Sa'ad Al-Ghamdi. I think his voice is very good.
15. What’s your favorite surah? Why?
That's a tough one, I think Al-Fatihah, not only we read it in every single raka'ah of our salah but also because I like the translation of it. I like how the literal first thing you'd read from the Qur'an is "Guide us to the right path"
It's very hard to switch from Indonesian transliteration of Islamic terms & arabic to English transliteration. For example in Indonesian we say Shalat not Salah and Raka'at not Raka'ah. Can I say it in Indo transliteration?? I hope you understand because I'm not even sure if Raka'ah is the real transliteration for English.
17. Who’s your favorite sahaabi (companion of the prophet) and why?
Who, indeed? I don't think I've read many sahaabi story to determine, this is why I ask you this question because I don't have a lot of knowledge about it and is trying to change. I like Salman Al-Farisi's journey though
18. Which 3 Muslims from the history of Islam would you want to meet?
Can I include Muhamad ﷺ?
'Aisha because she knows a lot of hadith
Al-Khawarizmi because I like math, and I want to hear from a mathematician muslim the correlation between studying math and becoming a better muslim I need it
25. Have you been to Makkah, Madinah, or Palestine?
Alhamdulillah I have to Makkah and Madinah to do Umrah, it was when I was 10 though so............I wasted it:( I was literally in front of the Ka'bah and i didn't know what I want to do so i just Shalat 2 raka'ah and want to go home (like howwwwwwwww how did I miss the chance I'm so akhfjkgvdkdj I want to go back in time)
26. What’s one good deed you want to start doing?
Be more ikhlas? I feel like I have a hard time to be ikhlas of what happened to me no matter how small it is and it's corrupting my heart haha.
29. How many kids do you want?
Idk, I'm not even married yet. As many as Allah will give me I guess. I actually wear glasses and I heard women with glasses aren't good to give birth, is it true?
😟
37. Which story in the Quran inspires you the most?
The story when Musa met Khidr and they travel together I think? I've heard since I was little that "what i think is good is probably not good in Allah's eyes and what I think is not good is probably good in Allah's eyes" and i think this story is a very good example of that, that Allah knows the best and I just have to trust Allah in everything Allah wants me to do.
42. What’s your favorite part of Ramadan?
What's not to be favorited in Ramadan, really?? I guess it's the way my prayer got calculated more? My sunnah prayer is calculated as my fardhu prayer (sorry again for indo transliteraltion)?? Umm :D My family and friends reconnected too. Umm idk what's my favorite is.
43. Are the 2 Eids the only holidays you celebrate?
Yeah, I guess? I mean there's some more Islamic holidays that makes a 'holiday' here like Islamic new year, Muhammad (Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam) did the Isra' Miraj (idk how to translate this???) But I only celebrate Eids. Probably my country's independance day too in the past, I don't really do it anymore.
49. What’s your favorite hadith?
Tumblr media
You don't need english translation right? :)
50. What’s your favorite ayah?
It always changes, but I find An-Nisa 29 this afternoon and almost cried
Tumblr media
I don't know the tafsir for this ayah but the last line hits hard. I'm not suicidal, but I always thought I'm not a good muslim, so I nearly cried to know Allah loves me and Allah doesn't want me to harm myself.
61. Have you ever been to a Muslim country? Which one(s)?
Is Indonesia a Muslim country?........Well it's a muslim majority country but it's not really "muslim" country. How do you define "muslim country"
Well whatever the definition is the answer is yes I have because I did Umroh some years ago in Saudi Arabia.
63. If you could use 3 words to describe your religion, how would you describe it?
the right one
67. Have you ever accidentally (or deliberately) eaten or drank something not halal?
See my answer for number 9 I guess!
71. What’s your favorite name of Allah and why?
Al-Ghafuur because I have too many sins.
77. When did you feel most proud to be Muslim?
Idk, it's not like I'm not proud to be muslim but I don't know if I'm good enough to feel proud.
79. If Muslims could just _____ life would be a lot better.
Follow all the rules! That's to me, if only I could just follow all the rules my life would be significantly better!!!!!!!!!
81. Are you memorizing Quran at this point in your life?
I am! I'm memorizing some Surah in Juz 29 (Al-Haqqah but I need to re-memorize Al-Qalam I guess!!!! sad)
84. Who’s one Muslim in your life you admire?
In my life as in, that I've met with my own two eyes? My mother I think.
88. As a Muslim what do you love most about yourself?
Idk???
89. If you could save one other person from Hell along with yourself, who would you save? (make duaa for them)
Why do I could only save one? I want to save my parents, my siblings, and my friends. I do pray we wouldn't need to go to hell :(
96. If you had 1 million dollars what would you do with it?
I mean the very first thing I should do is to make sure the money comes from halal way. Then.......idk? Save it? Hajj? Charity?
99. Without Islam, how would your life be different?
My life would fall to pieces in

Menjadi Tenang
Tumblr media
Salah satu temen nanya caranya ikhlas dan maapkeun karena jika aku tahu gimana caranya, mungkin terlebih dahulu bakal nge-assist si Endah biar lebih ikhlas ngejalanin hari-harinya.
I really dunno know how, but one thing, I really need a sincere repentance to get into tranquility, a peace of mind.
Considering numbers of sleepless nights and sluggish days wasted, let's 👏talk👏openly👏and👏safely, Ndah.

Sikap

Assalamualaikum. Please share with us some tips for preparing for ramadhan. Barakallahu feeki.
Wa ‘alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
1. Set Goals
Consider where you’re lacking in your worship and set a goal to focus on adding that to your routine. This could be literally anything - making more dua, engaging in adhakar, fixing your salat, improving your character, etc.
It’s important not to overburden yourself though. Chances are we’re lacking in multiple areas of worship, but only pick maybe 2 areas, add if you feel like you can do so. Quality over quantity! Focusing on quantity over quality also gives risk to you losing the habit, whereas focusing on quality helps you keep up with your habits after ramadan.
Also set goals for what you already do practice and special things you do for the sake of the month such as how much you want to memorize in the Quran, how much Quran you want to read in the month, etc.
Also consider your disliked habits and make resolution to work on getting rid of them. This can be - anger, wasting time, using bad language, focusing too much on materialistic things, and so on.
2. Prepare Materials
Prepare materials for your goals in ramadan. For example if your daily goals are to engage in adhkar, recite 1 juz, and get in the habit of making an extensive dua daily - maybe make a daily book where you have all the adhkar you want to engage in, a timeline of what your daily progress of the Quran should be, and bullet points of things you want to include in your duas. This will help you stay on track and will help you resort to only one place for your daily goals. ^-^
It’s also wise to make a timeline of your day:
10 - 11-30 AM : Quran reciting
11:30 - 12:30 PM: Spend time with family
12:00 - 1:00 PM: Adhakar
1:00 - 1:45 PM: Break
1:45 PM - 2:30 PM: Study Seerah
etc.
^^ It’s also important to balance between worship and other obligations (as you can see I did above), spread your worship throughout the day rather than doing all the worship at once continuously and then doing all the other obligations, this can cause you to be tired and demotivate you.
3. Make some Habits before Ramadan
Making habits before Ramadan is good so that in Ramadan you can strengthen those habits. Personally, I would say to make these habits of your character - not getting angry easily, making people feel comfortable, speaking good words, having a good tone, being generous, etc. Such habits I think are generally harder to establish, so start now and make Ramadan the strengthener of them!
4. Educate yourself on Ramadan
Read up on the importance of Ramadan, why is it a holy month, what’s the point of it, etc. This will help you appreciate Ramadan more and will motivate you to do your best.
5. Clear up your Time
Before Ramadan starts, try clearing up duties that may consume your time. Such as if you’re taking a self paced course, try to finish it before Ramadan so that you have more time for worship in Ramadan.
6. Consider your Money
Figure out how much charity you can give in the month of Ramadan by going through your wealth and set a daily giving amount (if you are able to). If you can’t give charity due to financial strains, then work out your balance to see if you can give a one-time charity if you can do so after paying Zakat (if you are obligated to give Zakaat). Also make a list of all the things that you need to consider for giving Zakaat such as jewelry, debts, etc. Calculate the things that you don’t expect to change such as the amount of gold you have so that you have that ready before hand and just need to calculate what is constantly changing the day you give Zakaat.
7. Engage in Istighfar
Engage in Istighfar to purify yourself before Ramadan, In sha Allah Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala will give you more ability to do more in Ramadan and He will allow you to taste Ramadan to be even sweeter. ^.^
8. Plan Meals and Check your Body
Plan what your suhoor and iftar will be for the month of Ramadan. Be sure to make them healthy and light. Please avoid eating too many pakoray and samosay, eat more chole and fruit chat.
It would also be good to get a blood test to see if you have any nutritional deficiencies so that you can get your deficiencies to normal (or at least better) before Ramadan as deficiencies causes brain fog, tiredness, insomnia, etc.
9. Check your Intentions
Before doing anything and everything we should check our intentions, whether it be something as small as posting a photo, or something as big as giving charity. Is your intention pure? Check your intentions for Ramadan also, why are you participating?
10. Contacts
Make a list of people you wish to be more in touch with and make sure you contact them. If you’re able to contact them before Ramadan, make sure you contact them again during Ramadan so that you establish strong ties with them. Add those you even lost touch with in your list. Also focus on relationships you want to make stronger that you already have good contact with, this could be your parents, siblings, friends, etc. Forgive those who have wronged you and contact them too. Don’t keep grudges. Keeping good relations with people is part of faith 😌

Keseimbangan
Adakalanya kita perlu rehat.
Adakalanya kita perlu menangis.
Adakalanya kita perlu merasa sakit.
Useless bukan hidup gue? wkkwkw okeay nevermind ~
Kenapa gue kasih judul “keseimbangan” #ceritanehgue.
at the last buut not least ikhlas itu berbanding lurus dengan keseimbangan. YUP Keseimbangan DJIWAAaaaa...........
Jangan lupa ikhlas dan berani mengakui guys!

DAY 27 - SOMEONE WHO INSPIRES ME
Tumblr media
This isn’t “someone” but “some people” but it’s alright, I am writing this as a credit to them for helping me growing myself into a better person I am now.
I am so thankful to be part of Laviloves.
2.) Christine Liu a.k.a Simply by christine Aku baru-baru saja mengenal Christine.

PODSERIES: TRAITS OF THE SOUL – PART 8
Tumblr media
Another negative trait of the soul is being overly absorbed in worldly things and affairs. If this is done beyond one’s necessities it will distract them from preparing for the hereafter which involves fulfilling the commands of Allah, the Exalted, refraining from His prohibitions and facing destiny with patience. A muslim should therefore, busy themself in taking from the material world in order to fulfill their necessities and responsibilities without excessiveness, extravagance or waste. And then they must concentrate on preparing for the hereafter. Anyone who oversteps this limit contradicts the advice of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, which is found in Sunan Ibn Majah, number 3976. He advised that a muslim cannot make their Islam excellent until they avoid the things which do not concern them. The material world beyond one’s necessities and responsibilities does not concern them.
Among the negative traits of the soul is showing off one’s righteous deeds to people. Muslims should understand that if they act for the sake of people they will gain no reward from Allah, the Exalted, in this world or the next. In fact, according to the Hadith found in Sunan Ibn Majah, number 4203, these people will be told on Judgment Day to seek their reward from the people they acted for which will not be possible. In reality, pleasing people while disobeying Allah, the Exalted, is simply foolish as the people will not be able to protect them from Allah, the Exalted. Whereas, if one obeys Allah, the Exalted, then the displeasure of people will not affect them in this world or in the next even if this divine protection is not obvious to them.

The heart is for Allah alone
Allah Almighty asks of His servants to worship with Ikhlas, sincerity, purity. He asks for pure worship, which means to have a pure heart, a heart that has nothing in it but its Lord.
Each of us knows which side of himself is not true, or which of his characters is not good. We must strive to have pure hearts. That is ‘Jihad’; to fight with one’s bad characters and change them into good ones.
Everything that occupies your heart and keeps you from your Lord makes your heart impure. You must try to keep everything away from your heart, but Allah. We say that the heart is for Allah alone. Man is created for the love of Allah Almighty. Any time you put your love in this dunya, it will be wasted. But if you put your love with Allah, with the Prophet, with your Sheikh, or with your fellow Mu’mins, you may find that love here and hereafter; it is never going to be wasted. Love is the most precious, most valuable, most expensive thing, that the Sons of Adam have been given.

Hi!
Another year, another experience, but i need enjoy it and get some learn because time is flying by.
Keep walking towards on it, happiness is in the air, just feel it.
Just live your life, nikmati semua yang ada di hadapan kamu. Dont over thinking, its just wasting your time.
Take a time, go travel. Go somewhere you never see. Feel the air you never feel, and meet someone you never meet. (Hopefully have a time and some... gold enough for this😝)
Bersyukur atas nikmat sehat, nikmat teman baik, nikmat dikelilingi oleh keluarga some of my friend think they dont care about u at all but they’re your definition of unconditionally love. For good or for worse, theyre home, who accept you no matter what.
Ikhlas dan lepaskan apa-apa yang tidak perlu, and dont afraid to fall in love again.
Kepada cinta yang tidak pernah terucap. Tidak ada jaminan pada semua hal di dunia, tell her or him what they’re mean to you.
Just tell it. Tell it if you love, and dont care about what you accept, tell what someone means to you. Setidaknya, dia tahu bahwa dia dicintai. Hmmm
Bertemu teman lama, berbicara tentang kabar baik mereka. Beri perhatian dan dukungan atas pencapaian nya. Enjoy the moment.
2018, was a lovely year. So blessed for have a time to enjoy every moment in this year, i cant wait for some fun and more challange in another level. hopefully have a time for it. Xoxo
