[Translations] Ongaku-geki Kuro to Shiro 2 - “Just take a step!”

I really enjoyed Kuro to Shiro a lot, and I’m honestly so happy that we got a deserved sequel (and a Blu-ray release, too!) This is one of their new original songs featured for Kuro to Shiro 2. And if you know me, I do love me anything that has Seto Keita in it~! Since Story A focuses on Metatron (Keita), Mamon (Takuto), and Belphegor (Yuuki), I kinda wanted to translate the original song that they sang~!

Honestly, it makes a lot more sense AFTER you’ve watched what happens in the play or at least after reading the summary for context. Nonetheless, it’s still straightforward and direct to the point!  Just think friendship and rainbows and getting through tough times together, and you’re halfway to knowing what happens in the story  (*￣▽￣)b

Kuro and Shiro -purgatorium- stage information

Since I have posted on my Twitter, I want to post it here to spread on the news! (You will see a copy-pasted content by me from my own thread).

Why you should be excited about Movic's original stage - Kuro & Shiro -purgatorium- if you're a fan of TsukiPro (or Identity V)! 

First of all, please look at this beautiful visual that is drawn by Natsuo-sensei (artist of Vazzrock).

Next is the cast!

The casts you might feel familiar with, and I will explain in detail a bit on this because they're the main reason why I'm into this We have Iwagana Tetsuya who played as Dan Kuroto from Kamen Rider Ex-aid. Miyazawa Yuu who acted as Hasumi Keito (EnStar stage).

We have actors from TsukiPro stages: Hirai Yuuki (Fuduki Kai), Iwasa Yuuki (Fujimura Mamoru), Shiozawa Hidemasa (Eto Kouki), Igarashi Takuto - Tact (Sugai Makoto from ZIX), Chiba Mizuki (Mikaze Roa actor(?) & seiyuu) and Hotta Ryuusei (Ohara Sora).

From Identity V stage: Hirai Yuuki (Aesop Carl), Kunishima Naoki (The White Guard), Tachibana Ryo (Lucky Guy), Suga Kyosuke (Norton Campbell), Ishikawa Ryuutaro (Kreacher Pierson) and Chiba Mizuki (Eli Clark).

The plot

The story plot is also interesting, here is my rough translation of the plot that is available on their website. All songs are composed by ZIZZ STUDIO, who created Tsukihana Kagura theme songs for TsukiPro AGF just now!

Stage info

They will perform in editions. Each character will represent a sin/blessing. Each show is a combination of two pairs of editions, but all the actors will appear in all performances. Based on the version, there will be two main characters in each part, a total of 4 main characters in one show. Here is the schedule

JUJUTSU KAISEN Stage Play Unveils Main Visual and Cast Members

  A special presentation for the stage play adaptation of Gege Akutami's JUJUTSU KAISEN manga was held at Tokyo's Scramble Hall today, which unveiled the main visual, plus 16 main cast members and photos for what looks to be an absolutely stellar production:

3D Kanojo: Real Girl (ep. 3)

Man, it’s been a hell of a week for a Tuesday, I’d love to just sit back, relax and watch some anime, what’s got a new episode out? *looks at schedule*  Oh...oh god please no, not this, anything but 3D Kanojo! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Huh, I didn’t hate that, actually it wasn’t bad at all...huh...

>So after a strange interlude Tsutsui wakes up after the last episode and Igarashi is asleep on the floor, so his first instinct is to take a picture of her butt, but then realizes thats weird and covers her up instead.  That was...oddly tactful and aware of the situation...does this show...actually know what it’s doing?

>Animation is still rough, with brief moments of decent to good animation at key moments, so at least they know when to use the budget? I guess?  Still just kinda meh on average.

>The subplot of Tsutsui having trouble holding Igarashi’s hand was “somewhat” understandable, everything is awkward in first time relationships, but this was a bit extreme from my point of view, good thing with was wrapped up by the first half of the episode with some surprisingly touching comments.  Him saying how he’s nervous cause he doesn’t like change, man do I ever relate to that one, but it seems they are both good for bringing the other out of their shells.  (Gosh what world is this? Im actually complimenting this show? and not ironically? I mean Im glad but Im very surprised)

>You introduced a new character by having them slip on a banana peel...oooookay then, Ishino is actually a pretty good character, she has some understandable depth to her and a decent flaw, her crush is taking advantage of her and using her, man that’s way too real.  And I really felt for her when she started crying saying that she can’t even fake saying she’s ok with it, again I’ve been there dude, some things you just can’t bottle up and you just need to cry.

>This whole episode was oddly relatable and in general just well done, I actually felt like I could have been watching real people interact, especially when Igarashi admitted to being jealous over seeing Tsutsui possibly be with another girl, it all just...felt right I guess, it felt like teenagers going through high school relationship bullshit, but not in a glorified way, more of a “shit’s tough and hard to understand, but your friends will be there for you, even when you ugly cry, and you will ugly cry” (which, sidenote, looked pretty good animation wise).

So...yeah...maybe this will continue to get better?  I mean, fancy words taste great so I’ll be happy to eat them if this show ends up being pretty good.  Even if the writing quality stays at the level of this episode but the animation quality goes up, I’ll be happy.  Does this pass the 3 episode test? Yeah, begrudgingly, but I’m interested in seeing where this goes now.  So congratulations, I only kinda dislike you now.

In "Jujutsu Kaisen", Curses are spiritual beings that bring harm to humanity, and Jujutsu Sorcerers are practitioners of "Jujutsu", the energy that is used to kill such beings.

The story follows Itadori Yuuji (Sato Ryuji) as he joins a secret organisation of Jujutsu Sorcerers to kill a powerful Curse contained in him named Ryomen Sukuna (Igarashi Tact).
