SV Game of Thrones AU where Shen Yuan transmigrates into a character who is basically Joffrey Lannister.
Luo Binghe is a mix of all the Stark kids, but mostly Sansa Stark and Jon Snow. Su Xiyan and Tianlang Jun had a Rhaegar-and-Lyanna thing going on, and Binghe's adopted mother was Su Xiyan's older cousin, who took him in after the fact and had him legitimized because she was the only remaining heir and had no other kids.
In the original story, King Shen Qingqiu (Jiu) develops a suspicion about Luo Binghe's heritage and, being just as paranoid about Heavenly Demons as Robert Baratheon was about Targaryens, invites the Luo family to come to court. Ostensibly so that Binghe can be playmates with the king's son and heir (Shen Yuan). Binghe's mom is horribly worried that they've been found out, but has not choice but to accept the invitation.
Of course, OG Prince Shen Yuan was a rotten little sadist who made it his life's mission to torment Luo Binghe, was eventually revealed to be the bastard spawn of Queen Qiu Haitang and her own brother, executed Binghe's mom for alleged treason, is party to the slaughter of the noble Liu family, and is eventually gruesomely assassinated at his own wedding feast.
Shen Yuan himself doesn't want to torment Binghe, or slaughter anyone, start any wars, or of course be gruesomely assassinated at his own wedding feast. He would much rather live his cushy life as a crown prince, figure out how to administrate a kingdom properly and also implement some better waste management practices to reduce the awful city stench (like, Shen Yuan was never terribly interested in plumbing in his first life but he is absolutely invested in the subject now.)
The problem is that the System absolutely demands that there be a war and certain other plot points in order to propel Luo Binghe into some sort of narrative destiny. Shen Yuan's not sure why because the last time he checked, the book series was stalled with Luo Binghe seemingly dead, and the television series had basically rendered everything he'd done pointless by the end, but regardless the System won't just let him peacefully evade all the drama and spare Luo Binghe all the suffering.
Boo.
Plus there's the concerning matter of the Northern Demon King awakening and mustering armies to conquer the south (and getting derailed by the beleaguered quartermaster of the Nightswatch, who keeps wondering when the fuck the actual protagonist is going to show up to handle the increasingly concerning plot points, because Binghe should have been exiled by now...?), Zhuzhi Lang resurrecting his uncle (as a dragon?!) across the Narrow Sea, and the Qiu family plotting the murder of the king and a coup to seize power...

When spring returned, Yuan shed his wool, and Luo Binghe could finally make something of a decent pillow and add extra stuffing into his blanket. Yuan wasn't as fluffy anymore, but he still maintained a softer appearance than purely wild spirit sheep would.
It was around that time, a few months into Shen Qingqiu's seclusion in the Ling Xi Caves that Yuan, using signals that they've built up to communicate with each other, tells Luo Binghe that he was going away for a little bit. Of course, Luo Binghe didn't want him to go, but his shizun insisted it was important. He couldn't keep Shizun from leaving, but at least the sheep placed his head over Luo Binghe's shoulder as the boy cried into his wool.
He felt comforting qi circulate through him, and after signaling he would be back as soon as possible, Yuan left him alone.
Truthfully, Yuan didn't really want to leave Qing Jing Peak either. He still didn't trust most humans to not try to eat him, even if his little sheep of the woodshed was trustworthy and had made himself his student of all things. But he felt a drive to leave, to try and prevent a tragedy that he wasn't sure was even possible.
But, thankfully, focusing on secrecy and surprise attacks as a prey animal was quite beneficial. He managed to sneak his way onto Qiong Ding Peak of all places. Honestly, on the way there, he was starting to doubt the security measures of the place. How could a mere beast of burden like himself sneak around among all these premium cultivators? Surely he wasn't that strong.
(No, actually, a spiritual sheep cultivating to his extent was actually quite unusual.)
He managed, with a few close calls, to sneak into the Ling Xi Caves. As soon as his hooves touched down on the other side, he felt the qi density shift, to the point it made it feel like his wool was going to stand on end. As a spiritual sheep, this place was like static electricity shooting into his meridians! Very tingly! Somewhat energizing!
He breathed carefully to circulate his qi, keeping his steps as quiet as possible. If he was going to find the place where the tragedy nagging at the back of his mind would occur, he needed to navigate the caves well. Unfortunately, the place seemed like quite the maze, and with all of the scents there diluted by heavy qi and the constant presence of water, he found himself getting lost.
Yuan didn't really encounter anyone else for a little while, pausing to chew on some tasty-looking grass and moss growing inside the qi-dense caves. He wasn't quite sure how time passed, but he felt like more time was passing than he'd expected. Regardless, he continued his search, lounging in the water at times, drinking it at others, practicing inedia except when he wanted to taste a plant.
But then, one day, he started hearing panting. How strange... Was this finally it? Was it related to the anxiety dwelling at the edge of his consciousness?
He continued on, not really noticing that his hooves no longer submerged into the waters below him, hearing as the noises got louder. Then, he startled as another voice added into the mix. The one that had been panting suddenly let out a bloodcurdling wail as something like metal seemed to collide with each other.
Yeesh...maybe he could still just, uh, let whatever was happening go.
But no. No. It felt wrong to just leave things be. He felt the urge to go look anyway. And so, he did.
Peering into the room, he saw two humans. Both would be quite beautiful if one wasn't screaming bloody murder with bloodshot eyes, his meridians starting to self-destruct, and the other was yelling back insults and trying to use every dirty tactic in the book to slow the down. It wasn't at all like an elegant cultivation battle. No, it was more like a dogfight, with blood and scars etched into skin, and qi deviations.
Ah... Yeah. Qi deviations. Two.
Both of these cultivators were having qi deviations?!
What the hell was up with this place! At first, he had started assuming the teachers didn't teach Luo-lamb how to cultivate properly out of some kind of spite. He'd seen how the other humans treated him, so surely he was being targeted by someone.
And maybe he still was being targeted, but it seemed no one could cultivate properly without falling into a serious deviation!!
He wasn't sure what else to do, but he knew he needed to interrupt the deviations and reintroduce a steady flow of qi. But how would he get them to stop fighting? Could he do that?
But he had to think fast!! If he wasted much more time--
The prettier of the two pretty people coughed up blood, and the other, cursing one screamed in anger, sinking into his own deviation worse than before.
Were these punks trying to die?! Fine!! Screw it!! He'd do what he's called!!
Ah, that is to say, he's a male sheep over a year old.
With the one in green robes turned away from him, they didn't notice him running up. The other was too sunken into his deviation to notice much more than the green-robed man in front of him. Both of them had their swords raised, ready to clash.
Neither was ready when he rammed head-first into the green robed one's back, colliding with the chest of the other.
Sheep Dao Technique: Bam-ba-lamb!!
Corny, yeah, but you've gotta have fun sometimes.
Anyway, his technique was simple. Use qi to obfuscate his body, causing the temporary illusion as though nothing is there as he runs forward and builds up speed. Collect his qi into his head. Then, at the last moment, if at all, reappear as a surprise.
Shove all the qi gathered in his head into the target he's ramming!
His qi shot straight into their back and chest, disrupting their attacks and causing them to smash into the wall behind the pretty one. They both slumped down, half conscious with their clothes torn and bodies scratched up and bloodied. The pretty one was...definitely the worse off of the two. He'd been in his deviation for longer, and without stabilization, he was a goner.
Dammit, he still didn't have hands.
Unable to do much else, he moved as close to the two slumped humans as possible and, carefully, bit into his sleeve. He then pulled him over until he fell onto his back, laying over the pretty one's knee quite uncomfortably. However, of the two of them, he managed to be the more unconscious one, so Yuan didn't worry.
Much more gently than before, pressed his forehead to the pretty one's chest now that he had access to it. His qi began flowing from his head and into the other's meridians, seeing the scored veins and soothing them. The pretty man, panting, slowly started clearing up, his eyes becoming a shade much healthier and closer to white than red.
"...Wh...What..."
'You're just dreaming, bud. I'm not here, I'm not here,' Yuan thought.
Not that he'd understand it, but hey, again, entertainment value.
Yuan backed away once the man started circulating his qi better on his own, his eyes glancing up toward the other.
And wow. Gosh, what a pretty man. He didn't think humans could be so attractive... Actually, he did have an inkling. His student was quite the stunner himself, and he was just a lamb. Once he grew up into a full ram, he was sure Luo-boy would attract many, many mates.
The pretty person stared back at him in dazed confusion.
'Remember, I'm not here,' Yuan thought, huffing.
Jeez, get with the program. You're definitely not seeing a sheep right now, okay?
With the pretty man sufficiently well, he moved and placed his forehead on the green robe's chest. Actually, those green robes were rather familiar. Weren't they the Qing Jing Peak's colors? Like, it was kinda a green-blue-turquoise that didn't seem to want to decide what category to be in. Very Qing Jing.
It couldn't be the peak lord, though. He'd never seen the man, but he was sure someone this handsome would have no reason to bully his little human lamb.
As his qi began circulating through his meridians, he found they were...entirely too strained. Like they'd been forcefully widened out in some places and narrowed in others. Somehow, it was even worse off than Luo Binghe's condition when he first met him.
Something like this...well, he had an idea of how to fix it, but it took him months to help Luo-lamb. He'd just fix him up at least a bit.
"...I'm dreaming..." the pretty one muttered.
'Yeah, you are,' Yuan thought back playfully.
"I see..."
'I'd rest after all that. Qi deviations as serious as yours are no joke,' Yuan hummed, humoring himself with acting like the man could understand him.
"...Why are you here? Who are you?"
'I'm a figment of your imagination, that's all.'
"You..." A shift in his body, a tired wheeze. "...Shen Qin..."
The man's voice trailed off. Once Yuan finished and looked up, he saw the man sleeping, both of them unconscious.
Shen Qingqiu? That was Luo Binghe's human shizun, right? Why was he thinking about him now? Maybe they liked each other or something. Well, it wasn't his business.
Shen, though... Hm. Shen.
Shen Yuan. Hah... He liked that. He liked that quite a bit!
Shen Yuan. Yeah. He would use that as his name. A name like the humans! It was quite dignified, wasn't it? Because Luo Binghe's human shizun was Shen Qingqiu, he'd end his name in Shen as well! Quite nice, quite nice!
Satisfied with the development, Shen Yuan turned around and trotted out. The feeling of doom was gone from the back of his mind, and a sense of satisfaction filled him. Indeed, quite fantastic trip, if he said so himself!
But now, he was going to get back to Luo-lamb. He found he quite missed the young, slightly anxiety-inducing human boy! Aiyah, what trouble it was being a prey animal.

"You're fucking with me," Luo Binghe said.
Snowball had nothing to say for himself. He just sat there giving no expression after revealing himself to be the author of that trash heap IRS.
"Why the fuck would you leave out all the important shit? Do you have any idea the conversational landmines I had to deal with before the System deigned to give me this dumbass's backstory?" Luo Binghe paced back and forth across the meeting room as he ranted.
"Why would I write things that upset me?" Snowball replied.
"Upset you? Oh, pardon me! Wait, what do you mean you didn't write anything that upset you? Are you saying I imagined Shen Yuan being dubconned every other chapter."
Snowball said nothing, just maintained eye contact.
Luo Binghe recoiled in disgust. "I didn't need to know that about you."
"You read it."
Because he had nothing to say to that, Luo Binghe instead focused on his annoyance that Snowball had transmigrated into a lump of cold stone that couldn't emote if he tried.
"According to rumors around here, Little Mobei is obsessed with his consort and uninterested in a harem, so why the fuck did you write Shen Yuan getting railed by every man he so much as smiled at and some he didn't?"
Snowball shrugged. "I wanted everyone to love me."
Speechless. Luo Binghe was absolutely speechless. Sure, it was acknowledged that a lot of webnovels were personal fantasies, but he'd never heard of an author admitting it so blatantly.
Luo Binghe leaned over the table and jabbed Snowballing in the chest with his finger. "So was Shang Qinghua the end game all along?"
Instead of answering, Snowball said, "You should get rid of Xin Mo. It drove the Original Goods crazy."
Even as Snowball said that, Xin Mo was clawing and gnawing at Luo Binghe's resistances. "No shit. I could have figured that out for myself. Is that why he was haunting Shen Yuan?"
"Blood parasites," Snowball said. His unmoving expression made him impressively punchable.
"Good to know they can counter the Ice Mites, but I'm murdering Linguang-jun so I expect it won't be necessary," Luo Binghe said. "I hope you're not attached to him."
"Make it hurt."
"Now that's the sort of ringing endorsement I wanted. I found a stranded clan of Leopard Demons, I promised them his territory."
"Tell Qinghua."
"Have you always been this taciturn? How did you write so much when you can barely put a full sentence together?"
Snowball's glare actually deepened at that. He bared one of his fangs in a sneer before answering. "Writing is different."
"Whatever you say. " Luo Binghe stopped pacing and slouched into the chair across from Snowball. He drummed his fingers on the table. "Is Shen Jiu actually Shen Yuan's brother."
Snowball nodded. "Half."
"You know, the comments called them Schrodinger's incest, right?"
There was a pause, then Snowball blinked. "Comments?"
"What do you comments? You know, forum entries? Replies? Commentary?"
"There were comments?"
When Luo Binghe returned to his senses, all of the furniture in the room was ash or water and the walls had melted into odd curves. Snowball remained unruffled, himself and his chair the only things left unscathed.
A raised eyebrow was all Snowball's face gave him. "You done?"
"I hate you so much."
"Luo Binghe," Shang Qinghua repeated. He wrote the characters on what was definitely a clipboard and showed Luo Binghe.
"That's correct," Luo Binghe replied. It was… odd to see his own name again. A good odd, but definitely different.
"With all due respect, this Servant might suggest something slightly more… Regal? Perhaps something—"
"This Lord is decided," Luo Binghe said.
"Of course, of course. This Servant would never think to know better." Shang Qinghua dried his ink with a flash of spiritual qi and then shuffled his papers around. Finally he found several pages that had been cut and notched to hold them together.
"Now, on to the matter of Linguang-jun. While he is no match for my King and thus not a problem for one such as Junshang, he is devious and cruel. If he were to suspect Junshang of holding animosity toward him, he would not hesitate to leverage a presumed kinder nature from a human upbringing."
"He all but enslaved me. Either he knows I'm coming, or he's an idiot. What kind of defenses can I expect?"
Shang Qinghua scratched the side of his head with the back of his brush. There was a splot of ink on his cheek from where he'd used the wrong end. "Linguang-jun stole all of the old Mobei-jun's trophies and artifacts before my King had full control over the North. This servant would not advise triggering his ambush."
"He doesn't have full control now. I hear the whispers of sedition constantly," Luo Binghe said, looking at Shang Qinghua askance.
"Ah, ah, Shen-bro, your disciple has no faith in me. Answering Junshang, until the formal ascension of the new Mobei-jun, replacing all of the staff is political suicide. Half of the whispers are fabricated for our agenda and the other half are marked for later."
"Ice Mites?" Luo Binghe asked. Ever since learning how Shen Yuan was controlled, he'd wondered why Linguang-jun chose poison to control him.
Shang Qinghua sighed heavily at the question. "If only. My king finds them duplicitous and crass. But even if not, in some demon clans they are frighteningly obvious: visible in one's eyes or manifesting as lumps traveling under the skin. It would alert the demons in question they were marked."
"So they lack subtlety."
"Indeed, but not to worry, my king has allowed me some means of, how did he phrase it? Tagging them. They will not survive when I become Lady of the Palace."
Luo Binghe didn't doubt it. Shen Yuan's friend was surprisingly vicious.
"Back to the matter at hand. If I should not trigger the ambush, how do we draw him out?"

This is one world where the Joker dies. The Joker sees LBH walking around and thinks it a good idea to kidnap and/ or murder Bruce Wayne’s husband as a joke. LBH, remembering all SQQ’s rants about how he fucking HATES the Joker and wants to kill him so bad, but can’t because he’s not allowed to, goes 😈😈😈. LBH is sure that his husband will appreciate getting the Joker’s head in a box as a present. Jason can have the rest of the corpse.
Ahhhh your read my mind! Batman is contractually obliged (read: forbidden by the system on pain of punishment protocol and/or a true death) not to kill, but that doesn't stop the ancient demon Empress scholar warrior from having Opinions™ on who should frankly kick the bucket. His husband has slaughtered clans over less than what Scarecrow has done.
Another idea though: lbh wouldn't wait for the joker to kidnap him. He sees Bruce's tight expression when talking (infodumping) about Gotham, he sees the way the children glance at Jason whenever they hear his name, he sees how his husband scowls helplessly whenever the topic of future breakouts comes up.
He'd go out and find him.
"Binghe?"
"Shizun?" he asks, just to confirm it's his husband on the other end of the line. Even weeks after they were reunited, it's wonderful to hear Shen qingqiu's new voice. It always is.
"Where are you? You're normally back by this hour. Gotham is dangerous at this hour, come home."
"Shizun..." Usually, at the first sign of being wanted back luo Binghe would be dropping everything and running. Not tonight. He's finally found what he's seeking. "Forgive this tardy husband, but I will be a little longer. There is something I've been looking for."
"Looking for?" shen qingqiu echoes, and he waits while his clever husband's mind works. If shizun truly wanted him to stop and leave well enough alone, he'd tell him, but luo Binghe thinks that this time that won't be the case. "Looking for what, Binghe?"
"I found something peculiar the other day, and given how much shizun cares about his city, this one thought it would be best to ensure it wasn't dirtying up the streets. It's making quite the joke of itself."
He heard the sharp inhale on the other side. He waited. Then, softly;
"Ah," shen qingqiu breathed. "Well then, dear husband, be sure you don't get lost wandering the city. It's quite dangerous. In fact, I feel it might be better if I sent Jason along with you. Just to make sure you're safe. He's been positively desperate to get out."
Oh.
Of course, their second eldest. The one the joker had brutally killed. The one whose death still gave his too kind husband nightmares.
Well, luo Binghe knew the rules.
Everything that has happened in the past, we'll repay it to you today.

And A-Xu is there, he rubs salt in his wounds, he— Wen Kexing lashes out. Watches the concern freeze in his shixiong’s eyes. Watches it drain in favor of anguish, in favor of tears filming over those stubbornly dry eyes.
“Hao. Hen hao.” His voice is broken. Quiet. And he leaves—
Wen Kexing gets very drunk that night.

Without a Cure is rampaging in his veins, blocking his qi and leaving his form so cold, so cold, colder than the Northern Territories. And to make matters worse... Binghe swears as he finally notices the red rash spreading up Shizun's arm-- that same arm that had been hit with Without A Cure so long ago. Is it cursed? How can his Shizun be so unlucky with this precious hand?! At least he's learned a lot about his body since falling into the Abyss. Truly, a silver lining. He doesn't think twice-- hell, he'd probably say he didn't even really consciously think once-- and he grabs Xiu Ya off the dirty ground and slices his palm open. He presses his wound to his Shizun's pale lips and tries very hard not to notice how they feel so petal-soft against his skin. He coaxes his Shizun to swallow. A couple of times, just to be sure. Once he can feel his blood shifting in Shizun's veins, he stands, cradling Shizun's fragile form to his chest.
red, extended works from the fey zishu au in "stay and break my heart". takes place after wen kexing tries to use the river to break his illusion:
Zishu drags his fingers down his arms, pressing just hard enough to leave light red marks with his nails, down, down his torso, over his nipples, raking over his sides. He watches-- sees the way the shivers work through his body, feels it against his lips, drinking down Wen Kexing's shuddering sighs. A marvel, he can't help thinking as he latches onto a scar, faint and mostly healed, right on the side of his chest. A marvel, this body, this beautiful thing, and it's all for him to enjoy. He wonders if Wen Kexing will behave like he expects him to-- drags his hands back up to torment and tease the pebbling nipples by his cheek, playing across his chest like a qin.

He sees Luo Binghe up there at the top of the stairs. He opens his fan to recover his shock, just as Binghe would have expected from him—but his fingers still seek out the fake guanyin, looking for that comfort. Binghe can see it—his pendant there under his Shizun’s anxious hand, as if trying to hide it, or rather—as if trying to feel safe with it, with this piece of Binghe. Shizun tries to save face. He doesn’t even seem to notice what he’s doing. But he’s so anxious. Is he ashamed? Is he frightened? But he’s clinging to Binghe’s pendant so desperately. He has to ask him about it later. He has to.
hold, postcanon svsss au where shen qingqiu sends liu qingge and luo binghe out to find a certain flower and they wind up getting worked up over a flower that brings out hidden desires:
He’s not particularly surprised, of course, to find himself back on the ground, viciously pinned to soft dirt and ruined petals, in short order. This time, he swears he can feel something in his wrist click out of alignment. It hurts like a bitch, and he hisses, snarling and jerking in Luo Binghe’s blissfully powerful hold.

Did Mo Xing Tong Xiu do this on purpose?
I have a lot of feelings about Shen Jiu, aka Origanal Shen Qingqiu, and I would like to not be fixated on the dead child abuser. Alsa he does have a terrible back story and somehow more character development then all of the actual characters in the story. Despite being dead the entire time.
But! Have an escaped slave who suffered all flavours of child abuse, added a crime apprentiship, then the one guy he wants to trust refusing to give him pertinant information while acting like he did something terrible, then the isolation of life surrounded by rich kids who have no idea what he's been through or how he survived (because he won't tell them, and is right not to giving this is a pro-slavery country) and asume the worst when he can't treat spars like anything other than the life or death figths he's used to.
On which note- Liu Qingge is a serious threat and should not have been fighting anyone who has learned to kill things that threaten him. Also Shen-Jiu-panics-and-kills-Liu-Qingge-mid-spar would be an interesting au.
Oh, and because of said Mr not explaining himself to the understandbly paranoid and his blatent and unwelcome favouritism he has not chance of friends. Since everyone who isn't pissed about the favouritism is pissed about the rejection, and aparently no-one is consdiering that Mr not-taking-no-for-an-answer is refusing to take no for an answer.
Which of those was worse for Shen Jiu's mental health? And this from Qi-ge who he really wanted to trust.
Plus everyone, including his Yue Qingyuan asuming the worse at all times, plus a slave childs expectation of getting blamed anyway and there being no point explaining himself, plus having no-one he can trust while surrounded by what are supposed to be his martial sibblings who are supposed to respect him but keep acusing him of murder atempts.
Excuse you, this feral cat man killed a manor before he had any weapons training, if he tried to kill you you'd die.
But he musters enough cultivation power to be a peak lord, enough education to be the Qing Jing peak lord (and it says something that the old peak lord decided to put him in charge of children, but nothing good). Stays and is loyal despite this being a toxic situation that is only going to make him worse.
And he is a child abuser.
