Okay, I just came up with a thought of why Gortash has a small-sized bed instead of a king-sized bed like Orin and Ketheric got.

The truth is that our beloved Lord Gortash is actually a raccoon.

That's why he only needs a small bed. Because that size is enough for his true form. But he also needs to cover the truth of his raccoon form.

That's why it's the size of a single bed. He needs to make others believe that he's a human. Moreover, he can make others think he’s so busy that he's afraid that if he's rest too well, he might overslept for his work.

Edit: Maybe it's a punishment from Raphael for escaping the house of hope. He thinks Gortash's ambition is interesting, so he decided to give him a chance, to see what he can achieve. Making him stay in human form in the morning, but turn into a furry little chubby creature that eats trash by night.
