This is my super last-minute entry for @jallematsu‘s Bottom Ichimatsu zine!! (contains NSFW and BLmatsu) I was told SFW entries were allowed despite the R-18 rating, so I decided to write up a quick something for it. Something incredibly self-indulgent and sappy, might I add =///w///= (seriously though this has to be one of the most self-indulgent things I’ve ever written thus far for the Ososan fandom hhhh I love domestic Ichimura fluff ♥ I should write more next time)

Thank you for the prompt!! I went with 29, and came up with something full of feels and fluff. I hope you like it, and I’m sorry it’s a bit short!

“You still awake?”

Homura had been so consumed by her own thoughts that Ichimatsu’s voice, soft as it was as it tickled her ear, made her jump. She turned over under the futon they shared so she could face him, and even though the room was cloaked in the darkness of midnight she could see traces of concern in his half-lidded eyes as he gazed at her.

“Yes…I’m still awake,” she whispered, even though it was obvious to him now.

“Yeah…me too.” Ichimatsu shifted positions in bed, lifting his arm and wrapping it around Homura, drawing her closer to him. Homura felt a welcome sensation of warmth surge through her as she cuddled closer to him, resting her cheek against his chest as he laid his chin atop her head.

They lay in silence for awhile, until Ichimatsu asked, “Why’re you still awake, anyway?”

Homura didn’t respond at first, biting her lower lip pensively. She didn’t really want to say why, not again. “Nothing, I just couldn’t sleep,” she finally answered, cautiously.

“You’re lying,” Ichimatsu said, his voice too quiet to really be considered accusing. “I can tell something was keeping you up.”

“Well, why were you still awake, then?” Homura asked instead, evading the issue. “You usually fall asleep long before me.”

Ichimatsu tensed, his grip on Homura tightening slightly, as if he realized he’d been caught. “…I guess no reason, either,” he mumbled, which Homura also took as a lie.

“Do you feel like talking about it…?” Homura ventured, already knowing his response.

“No. Just…no, not right now.” Ichimatsu shook his head slightly. “Do you?”

“Not really,” Homura confessed with a sigh.

They lapsed into silence again, simply holding each other in the dark. Finally Homura said softly, “It’s…been getting better lately, really. But some nights are still hard. You know how it is.”

“Yeah.” Ichimatsu didn’t have to ask to know what she was talking about. He was well aware of the struggles she’d been having in recent years, of the regrets from her past that still haunted her today, of the day she became so overwhelmed by it all that she nearly took her own life. She had been doing so much better lately, that much was true, but Ichimatsu knew from experience that one could never fully recover from that.

“Has it…has it been better for you?” Homura asked, tilting her head so she could gaze meaningfully into Ichimatsu’s eyes.

He didn’t answer at first, wanting to tear his gaze away from Homura’s in avoidance of the question. But he couldn’t. Her eyes, warm brown and filled with concern, had him transfixed.

“Some days…it’s a lot easier to handle,” he finally said, slowly, letting out a deep breath. “But other days…I don’t know. It just seems like a lot of effort and I wonder if I should just give up.”

“I know how you feel…” Homura’s voice trailed off, and Ichimatsu hugged her closer.

“Guess we’ve both got stuff to deal with, huh?” Ichimatsu remarked, something almost hollow to his voice. “Think we’ll both ever just…feel okay one day? Completely okay?”

“It might take awhile.” Homura pulled back from Ichimatsu’s embrace enough to lightly kiss his forehead. “But we’ll do it, whatever it takes. We won’t give up, right? As long as we have each other, we’ll always keep trying.”

“Yeah…we will,” Ichimatsu replied, and forced a small smile. Homura smiled back, and Ichimatsu was taken aback not for the first time how beautifully her smile lit up her freckled face.

“Think you may be able to sleep?”

“I think so.” Homura nestled against Ichimatsu again. “You?”

“Yeah. Eventually, anyway.”

They lay like this for a long time, and eventually Ichimatsu heard Homura’s slow, even breaths as she drifted off. Absentmindedly, he ran his fingers through her long brown hair, his mind wandering.

I’ll do whatever I can to make you happy, and make sure you can get to that place where you’re okay, he thought. Because as long as I can help you find happiness…I’ll be okay, too.

Since I see you're still interested in Osomatsu-san, would you please ever consider getting back into writing? I've read all of your AO3 fics over 100x by now, and I honestly love your writing so, so much!

I really do need to get back to it! I do still write... but it's all been BLMatsu (and worse), so I've been putting it on another account. I have plenty of things I could finish on my main - at least two YanaIchi fics, an IchiHomu for a trade with a friend, I'd love to write some Magi Lunatic Icchi stuff...

After months of working on it, I’m proud to present my entry for the S*xtbang 2018 event run by @sextbangmods! And it’s angsty IchiHomu because of course it is!!

I made a post about this fic idea a long long time ago, and I can’t believe I found an opportunity to turn it into a reality!! It’s exciting :D Not only that, but this fic will also be illustrated - with wonderful artwork by@luvthesestuff and @Ecchinyatsu! Working with them was so much fun ♥ Their illustrations will be inserted into the fic, so you get to see them as you read!

HI GUYS IT’S BEEN WAY TOO LONG. 

After months of hiatus, @bobaaddict and I are back at it with the ghost Ichi fic!! And hopefully we’ll be able to continue it from hereon out \(;v;)/ In this chapter, we get to know Homura’s BFF more!
