BRUNO: “Before university, probably just by hanging out with Pax and getting ice cream or something. My parents were always strict with my diet so unbridled sweets is always a good time for me. PAX: “A good night at the bar with a couple of friends is golden!”

MALLORY: “Depending on how big the accomplishment, depends on how many people I’m inviting over to par~tay! So probably getting wasted and sucking more genitals than I can keep track of, but hey I also like playing party games like darts and shit so that’s fun too.”

BRIELLE: “I’ll usually buy myself something nice. A new top, or clothing piece for smaller things and then perhaps a few playtime accessories for something larger.”

FREDDIE: “Hmm… I don’t usually celebrate my accomplishments? It sounds bad, but I guess it’s just never that big of a deal to me! I should probably start though… ;;”

ELSIE: “Usually I’ll tell my grandmother and then I’ll treat the two of us out to a nice lunch or show* when both of us have time. She’s my favorite person to spend time with so it’s a fun little tradition I keep up.” (*she means like a play or the theatre in general)

CYRIL: “Probably some new tech for my gaming set up, or new gear for any of the larps and tabletop games I play. I’mma sucker for a good dice set.”

KENDRA (they/them): “Probably planning some time off and then either sleeping or going on a hike or nature walk or something, especially to a trail I haven’t been on yet.”

BRUNO: “I think I have a pretty resilient immune system…? I don’t tend to get sick more often than the average person I guess. But my mom’s taught me a bunch of potions for when I get sick so even when I do I tend to recover quickly and stop the contagiousness so I don’t really care about going outside with or without a mask. The only time I stay home is if I’m like… reeeeally sick but that’s only ever happened once?”

PAX: “The one good thing about my dad especially is he has a tank of an immune system and it seems like I inherited that from him—I rarely get sick. When I do I tend to stay home as much as possible and either ask people to pick things up for me or I mask up when I go out.”

MALLORY: “Funny thing about being a vassel actually, I get a weird kind of immunity to common sicknesses. I don’t really know how it works—when my parents explained I seriously wasn’t paying attention—but basically I dunno when I get any type of weird pathogen in me my body goes zap zap! and then that deletes itself. Hope that helps :)”

BRIELLE: “I get sicker more often than I’d like to, to be honest, at least once a quarter of the year in near every season though winter is the worst for me. I’ve been looking into remedies and other spells or potions to boost my immune system but nothing has really worked so far, yet. I hope I can have a breakthrough soon it’s quite challenging. And no, I tend to stay home when I’m sick. I do most of my work and schoolwork from home when possible so it’s never much of an issue.”

FREDDIE: “Ummm… I don’t really get sick that much? I don’t think? But I kind of soldier through it whenever I do. I wear masks and protective spells when I go out to try and avoid getting other people sick though.”

ELSIE: “I don’t get sick too often but when I get sick I really get sick! I tend to stay back at the manor whenever I’m sick because my parents worry too much and want to make sure I have top level care at all times, even for just a cold! I’ve been trying to be more independent now that I’m at university, so I will hopefully either not get sick, or I’ll be able to avoid telling them when I am… somehow;;”

CYRIL: “Nah I don’t get sick like that. When I do it’s kinda like. Whatever man. I take care of myself and if that means I gotta go out and get more supplies to hunker down then it just be like that.”

KENDRA: “I really only get sick when the weather changes drastically, which is usually around fall or spring. So, bi-annually. I just deal whenever I get sick unless I’m too feverish… then it’s hospital time.”

MALLORY: “Anything alcoholic that gets me fucked up fast. So…. tequila! Or soju, honestly. Cold drinks are better, they’re refreshing.”

BRIELLE: “I’m rather fond of lattes, or, really anything with caffeine. I am a college student after all. I suppose I lean towards warm drinks, but I don’t think it’s a huge preference.”

FREDDIE: “I’m really fond of sangria’s honestly, is that bad? It makes me sound like an alcoholic… though I guess I’m not as bad as Mal. I like warm drinks though overall! They’re comforting.”

ELSIE: “Cold drinks all the way. I’m pretty plain though, I’ll always take a cold glass of water. But tea is very good, especially iced!”

i have been looking to get the original twins for a hot minute, but the second they left the shelves in the UK they started selling for a frankly ridiculous price in most places, so when i saw them for less than £40, and with all their accessories? snagged them immediately. they're very pretty, and seeing the colour blends in their hair in person is lovely, they're such a cute set together. still, i'm not one for the "twins that are barely different" thing MGA seems to love doing, so i'm planning on giving one of them a fringe. probably Holly tbh.

Jewel and Berrie are grouped together by virtue of coming from the same seller, lol

Jewel is lovely, but i'm glad i didn't get her from the shops when she was on shelves tbh. she's not worth the £60+ price tag she had, given that she's...just a doll in a dress with a couple of pieces of jewellery and a weirdly overdesigned stand. she does have a gorgeous pearlescent blend for her hair, i'm just not sure what the vision was on this one tbh. Berrie meanwhile, i have like...no complaints about. love the weird tech clothing, and she's got such a cute and striking face. i do wish her phone had a case so she could actually hold it, but we'll figure that one out eventually.

final doll for this post is miss blue eyed colour and create, who had a fucking JOURNEY to get to me. i had her delivery place set to be the local fuel station - a 24hr place which has been really reliable for parcel delivery in the past, and yet (supposedly) yodel were unable to deliver to them. vinted then informed me this meant she'd be going back to the seller - who very kindly offered to sell her back to me. she then disappeared inside the yodel shipping network for over a week, leaving myself and the seller to think she'd gotten lost and we'd have to start some kind of conversation with vinted about getting paid back for lost goods. a few days after that conversation, i got an email from vinted telling me my parcel had arrived at a shop, like, fifteen minutes away by car that i'd never heard of. so i did get her, but what a bizarre journey she took to arrive. she's super pretty, but of the three she's the one i'm least sure what sort of colour scheme and/or style to develop for her. all good things in time, i'm sure, though.

anyway, on to the miniature resin crafts.

a...i think it's lamb chop roast (from the masterchef create series) and some taiyaki ice creams (from the miniverse series). finally tried using a toothpick for decorative purposes on these and it works like a charm, honestly.

i also got the birthday kit, which i'm slowly assembling.

don't, uhh...don't disassemble the table after you've built it. the instructions do tell you not to do that, but i'm a fool and i like to test things, so i had to super glue one of the table legs back together.

also tried a different technique of doing things like drinks with ice in them and soups in thin layers, rather than just dumping all that shit in and stirring it together. shocking nobody, i prefer these results.

also: plants. the soil for these always irritates me a bit. i feel like it doesn't hold the plants root ball super well? maybe i'm just doing something wrong, though, who knows?

I don't think that they would take her to the tower, afraid the others might take interest in their baby. Anyone is a threat to their sacred (alr cramped) parenthood with darling little reader.

The confines of their home is more than enough. I also like to think that the reader is biologically their kid (not altogether like a throuple or smth, but like separately). Circumstances of how she came to existence may vary, though.

But I imagine their encounter with kidnapping would be just an odd bunch of scenarios.

For example imagine Mama Diana downstairs, trying to fight the enemies, while you're upstairs, skipping around your kidnappers — Lightning McQueen bed long abandoned — mumbling some half babbles (a result of too much excitement for little you) that they couldn't at all distinguish, only understanding the rare distinguishable sentences "Tooth Fairy is here" and questiones like "Where's Jack Frost?" "Will the Easter Bunny like me?".

You had just finished watching Rise of the Guardians, and your mind is still so fueled with the plot enough to make you delusional and make you think that you'll also be visited by the Sandy and the other characters.

Of course, you soon realise they aren't the characters from the movie, especially when you saw that none of them were stout and shining, no bunny ears poking from their tuffs of hair, and definitely no frost on her window.

Diana would dress reader in fluffy cute clothing that's very comfortable and breathable. She would also ask you for what you think is cute, but after the five dinosaur onesies, she decided her word is more than enough.

Unfortunately, Papa did know. He was just a few meters away, with two ice creams (now crushed into smithereens) in his hands, listening to you negotiate with your supposed kidnappers.

Your personal rule is that if everything is going to fall apart it should be after you’ve had a good meal, but the lightning raining down from the sky indicates lunch is going to have to be put on pause for now.

“Hey! They never told us about any thunder! I hate when my fur gets all staticky,” Grim complains. Wheels churn in your mind as you try to formulate a plan that gets you and the tourists out alive. While you’re sure an electrocution or two would teach them a lesson, it’s a little too early to be an accessory to murder.

“I need your help. Just agree with what I say and help me spread a rumour,” you instruct your familiar.

“What? Can’t we just leave?” Grim rebuttals.

“This stamp rally is at our dorm. If things go wrong, the headmaster will punish us too and I know you hate cleaning.” Grim grumbles about this and that but by now you’re a pro at tuning him out. You looked at the top trending hashtags and decided which one to hijack. #perfectflower it is! You upload a photo of a petal, artsy and vague enough to support your lie.  

“GREAT SEVEN! I’M GONNA MISS THE SUPER RARE FLOWER!” you scream. Your best acting? No, but it gets everyone’s attention so you blunder on.

“The night-blooming cereus would definitely trend! It only blooms once a year at night. Night Raven College even has a special one that looks like a galaxy,” you add in a voice that most definitely would not be appropriate indoors.

“What’re you talking about?” a tourist beside you inquires, magicam app open on their phone. You refrain from letting the smile on your face turn into a smirk.

“Don’t you know? Near the entrance, beside the big tree, there are several of them planted there. The Pomefiore students take care of them all year and then they bloom around Halloween. It’s why #perfectflower is trending!” you explain, giddy that someone took the bait.

“Let’s go there next after the Draconia challenge!” someone chimes. You grit your teeth to stop yourself from blurting out an insult. If they tried the Draconia challenge, they wouldn’t have a living body for much longer.

“Tonight the holographic one blooms but only for 30 minutes! They don’t exist in the wild, it’s only because of the students. You have to leave right now or you won’t make it in time!” You notice the hesitation as people look in the direction of the entrance and back to Malleus’ casting a storm of spells. While you could stand in awe about their lack of survival skills, truly is it that hard to choose between a pretty rare flower and being murdered by a dragon fae, you decide they need a little push.

“I’m going now. If I take a picture before everyone else, mine will be most popular.” You turn around and start walking with so much faux confidence maybe even Vil would compliment you unlikely but Rook would. You’re rewarded with the sound of fast footsteps, a couple of people even breaking it out into a run. There aren’t any flowers there, but you hope that the people regulating the front gate will be able to kick them out.

By the time you loop around, out of sight of the Magicam Monsters you just tricked, you notice Lilia and Malleus talking. Luckily the sky has cleared up and you don’t see any charred corpses on the ground, yet the bitter expression on Malleus’ face remains. You approach his side but the magic words to turn his frown into a smile escape your mind. Even after Lilia greets you, you’re unsure of what sentence is the right answer, so you hope sincerity is enough to carry you through.

“How are you doing?” you ask. It’s not anger or annoyance you’re met with, but the forlorn look in his eyes pierces your heart.

“I apologize. I chose Ramshackle as a stamp rally location. I just wanted you to enjoy Halloween too. However, I never imagined that it would bring so much trouble,” Malleus admits. 

“It’s not your fault. It’s theirs for not following the rules.” Your words are true but they don’t seem to placate the dorm leader given the tight line his lips form. “Let’s go for a walk. I think we’ve both had enough of crowds for now.” 

You tug on his hand and Malleus unexpectedly follows without resistance, though you’re unsure if the pink dusting his cheeks is from exhaustive use of magic or something else. You let out a complaint and Malleus reciprocates with one in turn. By the time you’ve wandered far away from the bustle of the stamp rally, neither of your problems are solved, but you both feel better after confiding in each other. Your hands are still linked together, your fingers aren’t intertwined but your grip isn’t loose either. 

Eventually, the topic turns to lighter topics that bring a smile to your visage. Comparing Halloweens, stories of lighting things on fire, pumpkin carving, favourite treats, promises to try pumpkin pie ice cream together. But all good things come to an end and the serenity comes to an end saying that you HAVE to go to the Main Street.

And it turns out, your horrid day hasn’t ended because the Great Seven statues are toppled over and missing. Accusations are thrown and both student and staff alike are in shock. It’s one thing to litter waffles, it’s another to destroy statues of renowned magicians who represented the proud dorms.

“Tomorrow, the Halloween party might have to be cancelled,” Crowley adds. Troubled expressions morph into ones of shock and outrage. Disagreement is abound but the staff don’t budge due to concerns of students being harmed.

“The party will be held if the Magicam Monster problem is solved, right?” you ask. When Crowley gives you the confirmation, you plaster on a disappointed look as the wheels in your brain turn. The staff leave to gather the others and host a meeting but from the look in Jade’s eye, you can tell the other students are on the same page as you though Jade seems to always have that calculating gleam in his eyes.

“You have a point,” Azul acknowledges.

“We just have to chase away the Magicam Monsters from our campus,” Jade agrees and you can see several people around you having a lightbulb moment.

“We can confirm if they’re Magicam Monsters by seeing if they violate rules,” Vil states, dispelling worries about how to accomplish such a task.

“I’ll punch them away!” Deuce exclaims. You’re sure he’d follow through and that’s the problem.

“That’ll just make this a problem with the police,” Ace counteracts.

“We can’t just use magic attacks on them either, they’re going to figure out it’s not a security system,” Idia rebuttals when a couple of students suggest just flinging Magicam Monsters across campus. You know Idia’s right but you think it’d be very satisfying to toss yeet them away like garbage.

“Haaahaahaha!~” Floyd laughs, “You’re thinking so hard about this. The answer is easy to figure out.”

“Now, don’t laugh at them,” Jade chides while chuckling and baring his teeth. You’ve never seen someone act less sincere but you know better than to antagonize the leech twins. 

“It is eating a delicious meal with everyone!” Kalim declares. You’re certain that’s not what the Octavinelle trio is thinking, free food is never their first bet, but you appreciate his sunshine disposition.

“Haaah... Rich kids really are impossible. We should make them feel uncomfortable and scare them away,” Ruggie explains.

“A night hunt under the moonlight! Magnifique! I can’t wait,” Rook exclaims. He has the same dreamy look in his eyes as when he envisions capturing his prey.

So this is basically PMD x Kirby

(Here’s a key: pink is the name of the character, green is the Pokemon they chose, blue means male, pink means female, purple is the description of design changes)

So, before I explain who gets who, Adeleine sets up a few rules/guidelines for everyone.

1: The couch. Adeleine and Ribbon live in a cottage on the outskirts of town and therefore have a small house. When everyone’s there, she has a set seating system: tall people (DDD, herself, Daroach, etc) have to sit on the couch or in the general back. Short people (basically everyone else) sit in front of the couch and around the floor (she gives them pillows and floor seats of course)

2: No repeats! It’s to help her remember and also to not cause confusion or arguments. Nobody gets to have the same Pokemon as someone else (the only exception being if they plan to evolve them into a branching evolution, like Gardevoir and Gallade in the Ralts line)

3: Personalize! Everyone gets to add design changes to theirs (cut ear, different patterns, accessories, etc) to make them their own! They also assign genders to theirs and if they can’t decide, dice are rolled. Odds for male, evens for female (they can choose not to, but the vast majority were like “yeah whatever let’s just give them a gender”).

Ok onto the actual Pokemon

Adeleine: Chikorita, female, wears a scarf (part of the in-game story) and has a multicolored head leaf! Also had a small crystal hanging from her neck!

She saw the design and called them a “tiny dinosaur with a big leaf” and immediately decided on them. She loves them to death and thinks they’re the cutest Pokemon on the planet.

Ribbon: Fennekin, female, wears a scarf (part of the in-game story), has fur that is more pink than red, and wears a huge red bow! Also has a small crystal hanging from her neck!

Couldn’t choose the same Pokemon as Adeleine and thought Fennekin looked beautiful (she was even more excited when she saw the final evolution). She also has a type matchup with Adeleine and absolutely takes bullets for her to keep her from dying.

Kirby: Eevee, female, white fur is tinted pink, has blue eyes instead of brown, and wears bunch of colorful accessories like bows, bracelets/anklets, and collars!

Couldn’t decide on the gender and the dice rolled female! He doesn’t care and loves his Eevee!!! He likes how soft they look and how they have different evolution!! It’s like his copy abilities!!! He’s stuck trying to figure out what to evolve them into tho.

Dedede: Piplup, male, wears a big robe and hat, body is a slightly darker and more vibrant blue, and is a little chubbier!

He convinced Adeleine to take on a more difficult dungeon request for this (she got a big dinner at the royal table and got to stay the night in one of the royal rooms out of it though so it was worth it) and after a near 2 hour run and almost 3 game overs, she got it. Dedede only wanted it because it’s the only penguin Pokemon in the series and he wanted a big penguin like himself!!!

Meta Knight: Ralts (Gallade), male, wears a mask like his own, has more jagged blades, and wears a cape!

Only picked them because they saw Gallade and said “yeah that’s gonna be me” and didn’t wait for an answer. He likes their arm blades and the fact that they have a mega evolution (even BIGGER blades!!!!!!! A big tattered cape!!!!!! Badass looks!!!!! What’s not to like!!!!)

Bandee: Karrablast, male, wears a blue bandana, body is orange instead of blue, stomach is cream instead of orange, and has a tiny spear (this is later removed when they evolve)!!!

They saw Escavalier and got super excited!! Double spear arms!!! Armored and tough looking!!! They like how tough they look and 100% chose them for that reason only (although the Pokemon kinda grew on them over time). Not ultra tough right now but they’re getting there!

Marx: Sableye, male, gems are basically mirrors, wears a jester cap like his own, and has only 2 claws instead of 3!!

He likes how fucking creepy they look and how their mega evolution has teeth. It’s a very specific detail they will absolutely drill into why they like them so much. They also like how powerful they can be if used correctly!

Gooey: Goomy, female, body is shades of blue instead of purple, has a tongue that noticeably sticks out!!

He originally wanted Ditto but then they saw Goomy and felt a certain kind of love for them. He also couldn’t decide and the dice rolled female! He likes how the name is similar to his own and how they’re goopy like him!!! They’re also super squishy and he is too!!!!!!

Rick: Dedenne, male, tail is shorter, body is similar in color to him, has beans!!!!!!

He likes how they’re kinda hamster-esc!! They have electricity too which is hella cool. They look kinda soft to him and he was mildly upset over them not having paw beans and demanded that Dedenne be given justice by having them drawn in (Adeleine totally agrees to this). He likes to think they’re mega soft like himself!!!

Kine: Magikarp, male, slightly flatter, blue instead of orange, larger fins!!

He couldn’t choose a Pokemon and eventually just settled on Magikarp because he thought they’d be ok. Didn’t realize they evolve into such a big Pokemon until they saw what it looked like in one of the dungeons. The keep bragging about how powerful they’re gonna be when they finally evolve, but nobody is taking him seriously because he can only use 1 move as of now and hasn’t reached a point where he can evolve yet.

Coo: Hoothoot, male, body is purple instead of brown, has spiked feathers on his head, has a softer and fluffier appearance!!!!!

It’s an owl. He wanted to be an owl. He reeeeaaallly wants to evolve because Noctowl looks way cooler but he’s fine with what he’s got for now!!! He has a speed based build because he can fly very fast :)

Dark Meta Knight: Noibat, female, monochromatic colors with some red mixed in, mask with a scar, tattered wing membrane!!!

Purposefully decided on having a femal because he thinks it kicks ass a little more (also he loves his adopted daughter and decided that would be badass too). Built like a fucking assault tank but with speed. He absolutely leads the charge when he’s playing and takes every fucking hit possible if it’s aimed at his daughter. Gloats about his badass evolution and how fucking sick it looks despite having not evolved yet.

Daroach: Sneasel, male, wears a cloak and hat like his own, has yellow and longer claws!!!!

He didn’t like any of the existing rats and said “lemme get a thief pokemon” and settled on Sneasel. They have a team called the Squeak Squad and it’s comprised of his Sneasel and the squeaks own copies of the game! They play together in their free time and Daroach had Adeleine grab him a Sneasel so he could play on her copy too.

Magolor: Inkay, male, wears a blue cloak like his own, has yellow eyes!!! (The cloak doesn’t really fit until Inkay evolves)

Physically couldn’t choose and then someone showed him Inkay and he said “oh! I fucking hate them.” It was only until they showed him Malamar that he said “oh they look like they’d backstab someone. Perfect.” He likes how fucking ominous they look and how they would 100% be a supervillain given the chance. His Inkay is a good guy tho don’t worry.

Taranza: Joltik, male, has tiny fangs and little horns that grow out when they evolve, wears a cape, has little gloves on their hands!!!

He wanted Flabebe because of the flowers but was told someone already took that one and decided he’d take a spider Pokemon! Almost settled on Ariados but then saw Galvantula and got super excited. He likes their fuzzy look and thinks they are a lovely Pokemon!!

Susie: Gothita, female, eyes are gradient blue with no pupils, has pink accents on the head, more modern appearance!!

She couldn’t find any pretty ones with tech on them but liked Gothita! She thinks they look ok and Adeleine was nice enough to invite her over for PMD game day so she joined in. Her Gothita is surprisingly beastly and is a heavy hitter! However she also gets her ass kicked really fast because Gothita isn’t built for up close heavy hitting.

Zan Partizanne: Shinx, female, wears the same clothes as her, has more yellow on her!!

She really liked how Shinx looks. Tiny electric kitty puppy thing! She wanted to name it after some kind of thunder deity but wasn’t able to (she probably had a name for it tho). Speedy little powerhouse who looks adorable. Continues to tell Adeleine that she’s only doing this to repay her debt (and also for insulting her hairline) but is really just enjoying herself.

Flamberge: Fletchling, female, wears the hat and ribbon-like shawl, has spiked feathers that stick up a lot like her hair, more vibrant red!!!

She fucking loves this little bird. Like. A lot. Something about them is just so awesome to her. Maybe it’s because it evolves into a giant fire falcon but who knows! She just loves them and cherishes them with all her heart. BEGGED Adeleine to recruit them and managed to convince her (she had to offer up making her a cool sword to get it. Adeleine accepted the deal almost immediately because cool ass sword).

Francisca: Vanillite, female, wears the hat and shawl, has more vibrant blue, ice cream part is the same color as her hair!!!
