im starting to think me being into tcc is one toxic and never ending episode of some kind of mania. i wasnt in this community til about a month ago after a sudden life shift and ive just been having constant ups and downs. I forgot mania can literally last awhile 💀 i was never like this and never this harsh, i keep throwing around the r slur like its candy,even if i can say it., that would NOT be me back in January bro. I fell out of the loop for ONE day and its back. And when im feeling an 'up' episode and shaky im sinking my teeth back into anything involving the case and manic posting 😔. And my friends/roommates are starting to slowly notice my messed up interests and are now talking about me behind my back and saying im into something messed up when im not 💔 losing friends again speedrun because of rumors and they dont take me serious just like when i say i can't do ts anymore they think im jus playing 💔. This is the true life of someone in tcc/j but seriously, no ones really taking me seriously when i say i need to talk ts out and i cant do this, or that i feel i need medical intervention. im wondering because ive seen a few posts about cas ghosting dean and the only times i can think of that he does that are season 6 fighting the angel war, season 8 running off with the angel tablet, and season 12 going behind his back to steal the colt. which are all situations where hes doing something dean disapproves of/will try to stop him. idk you can debate whether cas was right but it feels very different from this idea that he never answers dean's calls because he just cant be fucked?

ok a few things:

the post was not about the intentions of either character. it was simply highlighting how dean has been "ghosted" and ignored by people he cares about and left to worry for days / weeks / months, not knowing if they were alive or not and how this is a recurring theme in his life. always left waiting and worried / terrified he'll never see someone again. that's all. no one is saying cas is a horrible, Bad, evil, malicious person for doing this or that he ignored dean for the hell of it. simply that his actions, regardless of his reasons, unknowingly hurt dean in a very specific way that mirror's john's actions, unfortunately.

re: intentions, yes most often cas's reasons for not contacting dean are because he's doing something behind the winchester's backs. most often with good intentions! from his POV he thinks he's doing the right thing. cas always wants to take things on himself, and that's part of his own trauma from being seen a tool for heaven for billions of years. he always wants to "prove" his worth. he always wants to come back with a "win" for the winchesters. but that's not something dean puts on him.

and all of those times you listed are times when dean expressed he wanted to help / work together. when cas was fighting his civil war dean asks cas to come to him if he needs help. dean always wants to help / be in the loop so he can help. that's part of why cas fucking off to do his own thing and not telling dean is often perceived as "ghosting." like, good intentions aside, cas often barrels headlong into things that he Knows might not be the "right" thing. Half the time his decisions backfire too. Like going to crowley / opening purgatory + swallowing the souls. running off with the tablet? cas was the one who decided to go off alone and not trust dean. dean wanted cas to stay with them and figure things out together. the colt? dean wanted them to all work together, cas decided to go on his side quest.

back to intentions again, cas always believes he's acting on good intentions, and well, the same could be said about john? like, from john's POV he thought he was doing the right thing, he thought he was keeping his boys safe by keeping them out of the loop. he ignored them for so long in s1 because he didn't want them getting involved. similar to how cas knew dean and sam wouldn't approve of what he was doing or would want to get involved in something cas believed was his job to solve, john also knew dean and sam would want to get involved in the hunt for azazel so he pushed them away and kept them in the dark. he personally had "good intentions" and his "reasons" for ghosting them, but regardless these actions still hurt them. and then add in all the times john failed to check in when they were kids, dean was constantly worrying john could be dead, as a child and as an adult in s1. and living with that kind of constant fear leaves scars imo which unintentionally get reopen every time someone dean cares about goes ghost for whatever reason.

and well, i'd say it hurts even more when it's cas because sure, john's a piece of shit more often than not, but cas is dean's best friend (and love!) and to be ignored / left in the dark when most often dean just wants to know cas is okay or so they can work together to solve whatever problem is going on? it hurts.

so, yes cas had his reasons and his intentions were often good! no one is saying they weren't. but the lack of communication, the bare minimum of any relationship, still hurts dean.

it's not unreasonable for dean to want his best friend to let him know he's okay / alive periodically, especially when they live in a literal supernatural horror fantasy show where they can get dead at any time. i don't think anyone is really saying cas is just ignoring him for no reason. sure he has his reasons. and regardless the lack of communications still hurts.

but also. the miscommunication is very delicious to me personally as a viewer.

tldr: anyways i don't think cas ghosts dean for no reason. i think he has his reasons. and still ghosts him bc he wants to come back with a win / doesn't want dean to get hurt / or stop him. but the ghosting still causes dean to worry / think he's dead / triggers a deep-seated anxiety and fears he's felt his whole life starting with john etc etc

i don’t have one LOL after i think ive finished a fic i will reread it maybe one or two times, sometimes this helps me move a scene or something around somewhere else where it makes more sense, and the final reread also helps me remove or add things depending on whether ive like captured the thread im following etc, then i post lol i hate having a finished fic in my google drive for longer than like a day tbh

a fic no one has seen because the fandom is so tiny…. wish you were here, it’s about two strung out burnt out addicts and insane people who are trapped willingly in a time loop and stuck together…. basically the title matches their story perfectly because both of them once liked each other a lot and over time, drugs, failed science experiments, and the hatred of their new life in the loop, they’ve grown to hate each other. i think both of them still wish that the other was the way they remember from before the shit. i love really layered titles and usually i use something like that. here the title kinda contributes to the story too which i like lol anyway everybody go play deathloop rn

the general concept for the world is What If Magical Girls Worked For The Government bc i feel like that is such an interesting concept.. like magical girls being public knowledge...... i wanna clean up some of the world lore first everythings been a very heavy wip but the plan is for it to be a public community kinda thing... almost like how scp is a community made project.... people can make their own mgs and play with them like touys....

i wanna flesh out the floaty guys and the worms more bc theyre the weakest point of this whole oc-verse but i havent had the brainpower to do so yet.... this world is almost 2 years old in december actually i forgot how long its been since i worked on this

to elaborate on the "by force" bit, one of my ocs (harvey kendall) literally woke up one day to attend classes and saw a mg charm on his desk and was like "ooohhh my god i just wanna finish out my major. why me of all people." bro thought being a magical girl was for one day!! he mad!!!!

heres some of the general most common groups and random lore bits for them, blood moon corp is still being thought over in my head bc i need to figure out more logistics for them

all of the groups are really neutral, the government will kill magical girls who arent actively working for them but still treat their employed magical girls with decent levels of respect and very good living situations, ssu is working towards a very good goal but theyre a bit too strict on how their magical girls can behave and have almost a puritan quality to them (most mgs that work for them arent THAT uppity, its most the senior mgs), rift is generally seen as the best option for rogues but they dont pay anything so its really a matter of if youre comfortable HAVING to work a day job and dropping it at a moments notice to go help out, blood moon corp is mostly normal outside of the using its dead members magic to resurrect an old mg (theyre also vaguely unwelcoming, most of them dont really like interacting with each other), rogue uncontracted offers genuinely no sort of support so its seen as the riskiest but you also dont have to adhere to any sort of rules or goals and can do whatever you want

HI HELLO local flame fanatic here

i will NEVER get over flame's dynamic with his mother. she's the only dragon that he can feel vulnerable around, the only dragon he trusts enough to cry in front of, the only dragon willing to embrace him and the only dragon ever shown to love him. and she sends him to jade mountain, probably thinking that being around other dragons will help him open up to others emotionally, that he might be able to find someone else that cares about him like she does, that he might be able to be happy.

and instead, a bomb goes off, almost certainly reopening fresh wounds with flame's recent experience with the skywing troops being burned alive in front of him (and thats a topic that i can go off on a whole other tangent about), and now it's in that back of his mind that theres a killer at this new school, that he's not safe and what if he's next.

i talked about this in my last post but he also feels like his mother hates his scar just as much as he does- i feel like this is him projecting himself onto his mother because he feels like an unlovable creature and that she cant love him because who would love a monster like him?

we've never seen anything suggesting that she hates his scar at all, only her worry and how distraught she was that someone could have harmed him in such a way. i mean, think about it- she only joined the talons so that flame wouldn't be drafted into the military, so that he wouldn't have to witness the horrors of war; and then it still ended up happening to him with what morrowseer made him and the other alternates do.

i think about him being able to sense moon in his mind a lot, and im not entirely sure as to why tui put this element into his character, but nevertheless its still interesting. ive theorized before that maybe its some skywing ability that tui never developed, maybe him having the dreamvisitor did something, maybe his father was a nightwing, but in all honesty i dont know. i really do wish that tui had developed this more but you know how she is with introducing really interesting elements and then never bringing them up ever again.

ive also talked a lot about his refusal to allow darkstalker to heal his face in the past. it ties into how he thinks he's a monster, that he's undeserving of it- nobody has ever offered him any sort of kindness before, so why should darkstalker? it all loops back to how he doesn't think hes deserving of it, no matter how badly he wants to get rid of his scar, he doesn't truly believe he can have it (and this is seen before in book 4 when fatesp and starf offered to get him off the island).

i wholeheartedly believe that ds enchanted flame to kill stonemover tho. like genuinely its so out of character for him to just run off and quietly do that?? like when moon was reading his mind he was thinking to himself that if he was the one who'd blown up the cave, he'd roar it to the world so that he would actually be taken seriously. ntm how it is 110% in character for darkstalker to make him do that so that he could "save" stonemover and use flame as a scapegoat so that moon and anemone and everyone else would trust him more.

some other things i wish people talked about more:

how flame literally stole a dreamvisitor?? and how tui brought it up one time and then never again????? idk i wish something more was done with that

the parallels between flame and glory- both of them struggled with self-image issues, both of them projected their self-hatred onto everyone else world. but their coping mechanisms are what set them apart- glory found solace in the support of other dragons because she actually had friends, which led her to accept herself, while flame's lack of such support caused him to spiral further into self-loathing.

A list of things about Flame that I think about a lot but I've never seen talked about:

He loves his mother.

He's mad at his mother for sending him to Jade Academy.

He can sense when someone is reading his thoughts.

He refused to let Darkstalker heal his face, despite very clearly not liking the fact that he has a permanent scar.

Darkstalker might have added an aspect of his healing spell that gave Flame the urge to kill Stonemover. This is never confirmed or denied. (Honestly, I don't know if it would've been more interesting if he did it of his own volition or not.)

He was trapped in that cave for at least a full day, most likely stewing in his own rage the entire time.

He was sent away from Jade Academy and assigned to the SkyWing healing bays. And he may or may not finally get the emotional healing that he needs.

AND MAN OKAY. ARTEM/LUKE WAS ACTUALLY THE FIRST NXX BOY SHIP I THOUGHT ABOUT. heres my first ever tot hc post, twas me going crazy about artem/mc/luke. and wait, lemme bring up this ask in my drafts as well from custard flanon

my case for artem/luke dynamics and lighthearted hcs towards the end

in the beginning, i was enamored by artem/luke primarily bc artem and luke were my faves. but now, ive been enlightened.

artem/luke is fantastic to me because honestly, artem and luke are very similar and if neither of them change, theyre going to fuck each other up by virtue of strengthening each others' unhealthy habits. my ideal love for these two is seeing in the other not just a lover, but a mirror and a wake up call to get better. for the other person's sake and for their own

thats a lot, so lemme go thru this bit by bit. first off

artem and luke's dynamics irt characterization

in my nxx boy chart of tendencies, artem and luke are both in the i do not want to do bad things to others zone. both of them are, in my opinion, heavily motivated by their desire to be good (luke) or correct (artem) for others. put those two together, and kjfbgkd the MORALITY AND LOGIC OVERTHINKING OF IT ALL, LMAO. them entering a close friendship would be luke going "ah, i must sacrifice my life now for artem" and artem going "ah, i must work so so much to be exactly what luke needs" boys, get therapy

both luke and artem are prone to self flagellation but for different reasons. luke is motivated by a morality kind of shtick while artem is motivated by rules and the concept of earning. again, this colors the language i use to describe them. luke wants to be good, artem wants to be right. when they perceive themselves failing this, they punish themselves.

with the above, it is PRETTTTYYY obvious how like, if they get together and they dont improve themselves, itll cause a feedback loop of them just making each other worse. like, same coping mechanism! hell yeah! if they reinforce this kind of stuff in the other, theyre going to be very very miserable.

to bring up custard flanon's ask, yep yep yep. thats another danger. artem so desperately wants to be seen as human and luke has a horrid tendency of putting the people he loves onto a pedestal of perfection. this is not great for both of them, it causes more distance, it would rip them apart.

i do not like this because that is a sad story, so heres what has to happen for it to be a good one

their differences is what makes things get better.

luke is a very emotionally open person while artem is not. luke is open about his love and happiness towards others and seems quite naturally in tune with feelings while artem has difficulty, mostly because of his restrained personality and general shyness. i can very much see luke being able to bring artem out of his shell, help artem be more open.

artem, while he has his moments of self deprecation, is more aligned with the concept of working to get over hurdles. luke is a more hopeless motherfucker, sometimes convinced that hes going to be a bad person forever regardless of what he does, but artem can help him see that no, no, it just takes work. and we can work on it together. hand in hand, side by side.

artem and luke are similar. but their differences matter so much because thats how they can learn from each other and improve as people.

theres a whole LOT of other stuff i could say here, but i'll cap it at this

these guys are so SO SO BLUSHY FLUSTERED. THESE TWO ARE THE EASIEST TO FLUSTER, DEFFO. their courting is going to be excruciating but also disgustingly romantic. artem delivers a bouquet of flowers to time's antiquities and luke spends the whole day just scree-ing to peanut. luke gifts artem a fountain pen that is a gun, delivers it to themis law firm, and artem is touched and then accidentall fires a shot into the ceiling and celestine CACKLES. "OHHHH, ARTEM, U GOT A GOOD ONE, HERE. he got you a fountain pen that is also a weapon. it's so you." and artem goes into his office to melt into a blushy puddle. love goop

artem does not let luke cook. they tried to cook together, thats a romantic thing right? but the one time they did, artem nearly had a heartattack at how luke leaves the stove unattended always and holds knives as if hes going to stab the vegetables, not mince them. artem very lovingly tells luke to sit down at the kitchen counter and luke admits defeat bc like, he is NOT complaining at the chance to just sit there and watch artem wing be domestic and cook something delicious for him

(shhhh, dont tell artem this, but luke has been doing more studying on cooking like a sane person. he really does want to help out in the kitchen in a non-stressful manner and hes excited to surprise artem one day with a dish he'd cooked for him.)

CANNOT stress this enough, these two are disgustingly romantic but very specifically in the little ways. nothing grand like candlelit dinners or rose petals on the ground (....well. artem does try that for their anniversary, DONT LAUGH, HE SAW IT IN A ROMANCE DRAMA TV SHOW) more like. everytime they leave each other, theres always a quick kiss, they r holding hands whenever they can, face touch, nuzzle into hand, small kiss to the palm. anybody who sees these two is torn between "AWWWW <3" or "stop. stop youre making me feel so fucking SINGLE...."

i very very much see artem, if he uses terms of endearment, going for the ones like darling, love, angel. the first time artem says this is actually when hes half asleep and luke wakes up early for his morning jog and artem is like "gmorning have a nice jog, love" and luke goes so red and runs like a few extra laps to calm down HAHA.

luke, im starting to realize, is somebody i dont hc using terms of endearment at all, he always just uses the name of the person he loves. but the way he says the name is what makes it so special; savoring the letters, the sound. reverent and grateful. artem has never heard anybody say his name like that, as if he's a treasure.

artem, luke at his side and peanut on his shoulder: dont you ever talk to me or my boyfriend or my son ever again

5. in the garden sleeps a messenger — one of two non birdverse fics ive posted!! the target audience for this fic was me, twenty some odd years ago. ((love u bitch 🥰🥰)) anyway. edea and seifer have Thee Most Interesting Dynamic. it is insane to me how little there is about them. theres mommy issues. theres a highly problematic age gap. theres a concerning power dynamic. theres a hot evil milf with a banger aesthetic. theres the time loop or whatever the fuck was going on there. succession of witches defined my life for over a decade. seifer is into petplay i know this i know this. theres SO MUCH to explore here and it's all so underutilized in the game. this fic honestly does not even begin to get into but i consider it a decent first exploration and hopefully when i have time and energy i can do it a bit more justice. as it is though i really enjoy it!!

She has the same blush rounding her cheeks and the same quiet, nervous laughter as the young Mór many years ago who muffled her kisses on Niall's mouth.

this bit was floating around in my head with perfectly clarity when i woke up one day and i immediately wrote out about six hundred words surrounding it on my phone before getting out of bed. im really interested in the implications of niall dreaming a docile sweet mannered replacement wife and i thought it would be interesting to explore it a bit from mór's perspective because she would be so impossibly biased. also thought it would be interesting if she fucked above mentioned replacement. this was my first time really trying to inhabit mór which, let me tell you, is really hard when the only canon information is scraps.

3. ambilevous — oh handcat fic, my weird little brain worm. all my fics are elaborate, long overstayed jokes in one way or another but this one i wrote specifically because the concept was just sooooo silly to me. absolutely absurd. certified kk comedy hour. it is, in usual fashion, a thinly veiled exploration of the more fucked up lynch family dynamics and how the barns arent quite what they seem but of course it is.

2. smoke alarms, smoke — my first exploration of the lynch family 🥰 it means a lot to me. i love this fic. the idea of the barns as a beautiful fairy tale ending had always rubbed me the wrong way and of course i love the slow desolation of locations through those that inhabit it which, really, what is the barns if not a haunted house waiting to happen. thats the part thats lacking (unfortunate!!) but i did get to write declan as a sad sad little kiddy which is one of my few life joys. i loved it when i wrote it and i love it now (which is saying a lot). while it isnt everything i want it to be i do very much love what it is!

1. it's a gift to be simple, it's a gift to be free — my aurora character study and probably the best thing ive written thus far...maybe ever. i honestly have no idea what the fuck i was on when i wrote this but god i wish i could get it back. some of my personal favorite prose comes from this fic. its a very personal fic in that i centered the emotional core on some of my own life bullshit. stylistically i owe so much of this fic to catherine valente's comfort me with apples which i had read around then (as if it wasnt obvious). i had already been thinking about aurora and her role in the lynch family but reading that helped solidify the tone i really wanted. this is another fic i sat down, wrote, and edited all in one night. i think if i hadn't posted it then it would've languished in editing hell so im very happy with what i put out.

oh and the recurring knife thing was because i was having feelings about knife maintenance, as one does. (if anyone wants me to come over and sharpen their kitchen knives and make you dinner lmk)

Pink Chains pt Five

Punk! Kyotani x Bubbly F! reader. Aka my favorite cliche trope. It lives in my head every second of the day.

Kyotani owns a grunge /punk apparel shop after leaving the Sendai Frogs after a incident with the Black Jackals. He designs his own clothes and hires Oikawa & Iwaizumi as his employees. Everything goes smoothly for awhile, till you walk in; pink dress, big smile , and bubbly personality. His whole life stops in that moment. 

W! Brief Violence

Before you and Kyo could go to the zoo he had to drive everyone back to the beach so they could drive home. Yahaba was hiding in the back seat by the window , still red in the face. Oikawa was next to him and constantly teasing Yahaba over you , Iwaizumi was on the right by the window in the back, Mattsun was in the passenger seat and Kyotani was driving,,, with you on his lap.

“Its fine” he told you. I mean hes not gonna let one of his friends hold you so .. And besides, this was funner. You held onto his neck giggling while you peppered kisses on his neck the whole way to the beach. Mattsun was the last to leave Kyotanis car, he wanted to check on his red panda tattoo on you and you happily showed him it. The red was finally all healed up and the whole tattoo looked very nice to him. He pat your head and said goodbye to his friend as he exited the car closing the door. Kyotani took off and plugged the directions into his cars touch screen.

“Kyo? Should I move to the seat?” you asked him, wiggling on his lap as he drove.

“Your fine right here on me sweetie.” he told you, nuzzling his cheek into yours.

So you sat there the whole time, giggling each time someone did a double take as they passed. You told Kyo about your day and what the girls said to you too. It still pissed him off but it was taken care of now.

“Kyo?” you were rubbing at his chest.

“Hm?”

“Are you okay after this morning?”

He thought on it for a few minutes, the only sound was the music coming from his car. He groaned heavily and placed a hand on your thigh pulling you closer to him. “Yeah, im okay sweetie”

“Promise?”

“Promise” he gave you a gentle kiss as he pulled into the zoo's parking area.”before we go in i have to tell you one thing though”

“What is it?” you were about to open the door but he had stopped you, causing you to get all pouty and puffy in the face with him. Kyotani smiled and kissed your cheek laughing lightly.

“So i know one of the employees and i need to see if hes working today”

“Okay!!” you opened the door wiggling off Kyos lap getting out and Kyo was quick to follow you and pull you back to him locking his arms around your hips as he hip bumped his car door shut.

“Kyo!!!!!”

“Hm?” he kissed along your neck holding your wiggling body with a smile on his face.

“The pandas!!” you whined with a big smile on your face til you felt his fingers start to move over your tummy .” KYO!! Tickles!!!”

“Okay okay, but please stay close to me okay?”

You whipped around to grab his ring hand squeezing it tight. “You stay close!! Dont want anyone stealing you away”

He laughed walking you up to the entrance to pay and buy a ticket. “Ive already been stolen by the best person sweetie.im not goin anywhere”

Miyagi Zoo was a small zoo, basically a big circle with some attractions down separate walk ways that lead to birds, a petting zoo and the gift shop. But it all looped back around to the entrance.

The first animals were the lions; you were so excited but the display glass was occupied by some people and you could not see. Kyo pulled you close while he waited for the people to move, he could see them but that was because he was 5 ‘ 11, he did not want to wait too long since he still had to find his friend and see the rest of the zoo so he moved himself behind you , wrapped his arms around your hips and lifted you up into the air so you could see the lions who were asleep on the rocks enjoying the sun. you had grabbed onto Kyotanis shoulders to steady yourself and people looked back to see you and the look on Kyos face, they quickly moved and he smugly walked closer with you still in the air. The glass was cold against your hands when you touched it to steady yourself to look in. it was two males and three females all asleep enjoying the sun. Kyotani had never seen a lion before so he was equally as excited but seeing that excited grin on your face just made it 10x better. He set you down and you gave him a big kiss on the lips , you also grabbed his hand running off to the next animals.

The second animals were the timber wolves and that was .. an interesting experience; no one was looking at the animals so you and Kyo were free to get right up to the glass to look for them. They appeared to be hiding and you did not want to leave without seeing at least one so Kyo crouched down next to you to look into the enclosure. A pile of leaves was moving up and down and he could see a couple paws sticking out. “Sweetie, down here. ones asleep” he told you. You folded your dress behind you to crouch down next to him and you gasped a little loudly once you saw it. He was asleep, the sign said this enclosure had 6 timber wolves in it but they all must be asleep somewhere.

Kyotani liked wolves, they reminded him of his friends and they were very misunderstood creatures , like him. You leaned into his side placing your hand on his wolf sleeve and Kyo laid his head on yours as you both watched the wolf sleep. The other animals could wait a little longer to be seen.

After a few more minutes Kyo was about to get up with you when a grey wolf came out from under the leaves and right over to the glass. Kyotani expected you to latch on to him and be a little scared but instead he watched you wave and say hello to the wolf. He pulled you to him giving your cheek a kiss, you were perfect.. So so perfect.. The wolf stared at you both for a little while till new people started to come over and dashed off to hide. Kyotani helped you up and you both made your way to the petting zoo holding hands.

The little goats refused to interact with Kyotani.. It was kinda funny. They loved you and loved to eat at your dress while all they did with Kyo was scream at him. People were staring because you were giggling trying to feed the baby sheeps with a brown goat eating your dress and a black goat screaming its head off at Kyotani. A pig came over as well to use Kyo as a rubbing post for an itch and he was not very happy but what the hell, hes lucky hes a cute pig. The screaming was starting to get to him though and you had to get some food for Kyo to get on the goats good side. He held the food out and instantly the goat stopped his screaming to munch on the food. The quiet was a relief for everyone…

The last animals were the red pandas but Kyo was preventing you from getting close to the enclosure, he had his arm hooked around your waist and seemed to be looking around with his phone out.

“Kyo!!!! Im gonna tell Iwaizumi!!!”

“Pft oh yeah Sweetie?” he leaned down to nibble your neck. “Whats Iwaizumi gonna do?”

“Something!!!” you struggled against his grip but you were not getting free. You could see the big tree that was the main part of the exhibit and a bunch of tall glass with smaller trees and climbing toys spread out all around .. just a little.. Closer..!

“Mad Dog ! over here!”

“There he is. Okay sweetie this way” he led you to the side of the exhibit over to an employee who had a big smile on his face . his name tag said Takahiro on it.

Kyotani bumped his shoulder against the man and Taka did the same saying hello to his friend.”this her?” he asked, giving you a big smile.

“Yep, Sweetie this is my friend Takahiro, he was on the team too”

“Nice to meet you!!!” you beamed .

“Aww. shes adorable, you ready ?”

“ready? “ you turned to Kyo and he pulled you with him gently.”but Kyo the pandas…”

“Cmon sweetie.” he locked his arm around yours as Taka led you both past the Employees Only area next to the exhibit.

Taka opened a door and Kyo snuck you in with Taka closing the door behind him. “Okay,” Taka said. “15 minutes max Kyotani”

“Sure sure” he moved you closer to what looked like the inside of the exhibit. “Stand right here” he told you.

You hold his hand tight unsure of what was happening and heard Taka whistle a tune. Soon enough you realized and got the biggest smile on your face.

Four little red pandas ran over flopping all over each other and right into your legs to rub on them . “KYO!!!” you instantly crouched down to pet them and give each one a hug, you were also a crying mess.

Kyotani nudged his friend after snapping a picture of you with the pandas. “Thanks Takahiro”

“Mmm sure, i dont just let anyone back here ya know���

“Yeah yeah, trust me i appreciate it “ he looked over to see you holding a red panda and trying to pet each one at the same time.

“Hows the store? The guys?”

“All good, i made up with Yahaba too.”

“Really? Thats great Mad Dog, proud of you. You look like your doing good.”

“Im doing amazing now,” he gestured to you. “Never been better Takahiro”

Taka nudged his friend teasing him over how sappy he was being and you made sure you pet every panda at least 10 times before it was time to leave. You thanked Takahiro and he waved his hand saying it was not a problem.

After Taka escorted you both out Kyo took you to the Gift Shop where he bought you a red panda plush and a red panda bag that had a fake tail hanging off it. The gift shop also had a cheetah display that said they save a cheetah with each purchase. He bought 6 of them. It was time to leave after the gift shop and you were just so happy with your day, everything was perfect. Kyotani opening up to you, saving you from the girls at school, the surprise at the zoo. You were falling deeper and deeper for him.

It was a good day for him too, after a rocky morning everything turned out great. Making up with Yahaba helped a lot and he was happy to have his friend back. He took care of those dumb girls that were bothering you and got to take you too the zoo . seeing your smile all day was the icing on the cake for him. Things were going so good with you and he never wanted it to change, he never wanted to mess it up and wanted to hold onto you forever.

When you got to the car you asked Kyo if you could go for ice cream before heading home and he agreed, one was close by so you both could walk to it. It was dark now and Kyo wanted to invite you too sleep at his place tonight. You were almost at the ice cream shop now but something stopped you.

“Kyo? Did you hear that?”

“Rr..”

“It sounded like a kitten?” he said looking around.

“I think over by the bench there, i gotta go see, it might by by itself..”

Kyotani was unsure about letting you go by yourself but he was close enough to the bench if you needed him. “Okay sweetie, come right back please.” he held your hand a little longer before letting go , he watched you hurry off and he leaned on the ice cream shop to wait, browsing his phone.

“Kyotani…?” it was a … familiar voice.

Kyo looked up and his heart nearly stopped.

“Kitty...kitty,,,” you crouched down looking under the bench to see a scared little kitten hiding under it. “Hey there.. Im not gonna hurt you.. Cmere baby” you held your arm out and the kitten sniffed it.

“It is you.” the voice got closer and Kyotani was frozen.”Bastard what was your deal back then huh?”

“...i..” he squeezed his phone trying to come up with words. No , no, this cant be happening now. Stay calm Mad Dog..

“Thats it.. Cmere..” you cooed the kitten out to you and picked it up hugging its shivering body. “There there.. Your safe now, ill take care of you, wait till you meet Kyo, hes a great-”

CRASH

You looked up to see something… something you thought you would never see. Kyotani hit the brick wall hard . he wiped the blood from his chin and grabbed a spikey haired man punching him directly in the jaw.

“Did you hear me?? Fuck was your problem huh?” he stepped closer. Kyotani put his phone away and stepped away trying to focus on this guy and see where you were. “Can we do this another time?” he asked putting his hands up, he was shaking,

“I dont want any trouble” he told him.

“Oh you dont? But giving me a black eye that was swollen shut for two weeks is fine? “ he grabbed Kyotani by the shirt and Kyotani was slammed into the wall.

“Fuck you Kyotani if you thi-” he punched him, right in the jaw. “Get the FUCK off me Bokuto!!!” he grabbed Bokuto by the shirt slamming him to the ground.

“Kyo….?” you were frozen in place and your heart nearly jumped up your throat when you saw him punch Bokuto in the mouth.

oh my god it’s miserable man i’m so sorry. s5 is..... so bad fasdfasdf i avoided watching it for a year bc i didn’t want to waste my energy trying to p*rate it. but i watched it last weekend and let me tell u..... not worth it! there’s a couple episodes that are like? okay? i guess? but mostly it’s just. terrible writing. sexism. homophobia. nonsensical plots. bad writing. more shitty writing. like. there’s some spoilers below so don’t click if u dont want spoilers but in case u want to know what’s going on (warning for spoilers and a huge wall of text):

there’s too much magic now so spells are going off the shits bc there’s so much magic. there’s a harmonic convergence coming up which will make magic go even MORE wild. a pig man from fillory shows up saying there’s going to be an apocalypse and he needs quentin to help. julia says oh shit sorry quentin’s dead but i can do it but the pig man says only STRONG MEN can do it so he fucks off to try and go find a man for the quest. julia decides to stop the apocalypse anyway, which she thinks is the harmonic convergence. so much fucking shit happens long story short they end up DESTROYING THE MOON. they crack the moon like an egg and eliot and margo get trapped in a timeloop caused by sentient whales practicing magic to keep the kraken at bay. margo gets out of the time loop leaving eliot who figures out what to do! and sends himself back in time to stop the moon from cracking. yay world saved. MEANWHILE IN FILLORY eliot and margo were thrown 300 years into fillorys future where the dark king rules. he’s got? fucking zombies or some shit hes “fighting”? i dont know i wasnt sober for half of this season. they’re hunting fairies. eliot talks about quentin in one (1) episode and cries a little before sending quentin a letter in the underworld. earlier in the episode he tried to fuck the dark king. after that he does not bring up quentin a single other time bc gay men do not get to have compelling love stories and he spends the rest of the season mooning after the dark king he met for 3 seconds before deciding actually HES the love of his life, not quentin. fen and josh are dead in the past and margo and eliot change the timeline like three times to save fen and josh! wow yay! also they can’t save quentin bc changing the timeline would be bad and disrespectful :( they can save fen and josh by altering the timeline though! at one point alice tries to make a golem of quentin to answer some questions about a page in a weird language she found in his desk but she brings back child quentin instead and he dies so it’s whatever. after the moon shit, they’re trying to find this seed that’s depicted on that page of quentin’s bc it’s the World Seed and can create whole new worlds! which is convenient bc turns out that apocalypse was NOT the apocalypse on earth but an apocalypse on fillory they think the dark king is gonna cause. turns out no, they’re going to cause it, they need to destroy fillory to stop the dark king from bringing back an army of the dead to bring back his gay lover bc gay mean are evil and bad >:( and before they destroy fillory they need to get all the fillorians in a pocket world and then put them on a new world they build with the world seed. so much shit happens i don’t even know. there’s a heist. there’s a musical episode that’s also the heist episode. eliot makes out with alice AND kady in this episode bc god likes to see me suffer. there’s a new chatwin! she’s great her name is plum and she can travel through time! she uses these time saving abilities to save hyman- you know, the really sexist perverted ghost that spies on people? yeah well she saves him. even though the narrative forbids saving quentin, they can save that fucking guy. julia is pregnant with penny 23′s baby but it’s a Super Pregnancy bc it’s red monkey month in fillory which means it goes faster. and she’s getting affected by the baby’s abilities to travel and be Psychic. fucking charlton is there he was still in eliot’s head the whole time and he gets out of eliot’s head to bother eliot but no one else can see him so they give him hyman’s body bc hyman wants to be a creepy ghost still. quentin gets brought up a few times but mostly to talk about how he ~sacrificed for those he loved~ or what the fuck ever and also to hammer in more quentin/alice like they didn’t have a like 3 month toxic relationship and he had a FIFTY YEAR RELATIONSHIP/MARRIAGE TO A MAN AND HAD AN ENTIRE CIHLD WITH HIM but ya know alice is the true love of his life bc they’re a man and a woman <3 <3 <3 the moon is sentient? i guess? there’s symbiotic aliens? fogg gets trapped in a magic acid induced drug alternate reality? and evil fogg from another timeline ends up coming through and fucking shit up? regular fogg gets back and has to hold a cat to stay sane bc all the insanity goes into a cat? fen, margo, ALICE?, and josh end up creating new fillory bc thats definitely the list of people that knew and loved fillory the most (definitely not eliot who was high king of fillory and sPENT 50 YEARS ON FILLORY WITH A HUSBAND AND SON no no he wouldn’t know about fillory), and disappear to their new fillory. the phrase “ovary up” is used no less than 7 times during the season and in the episode descriptions. kady’s barely mentioned as to what she’s doing post finale. eliot is a professor now and oh in the last FOUR FUCKING MINUTES WITH NO BUILD UP charlton kisses him and they go upstairs to fuck <3 the dark king was getting catfished by his brother martin btw bc the dark king is actually rupert chatwin and he ends up in a time bubble with jane and that’s fine while martin gets trapped in the library or some shit i don’t know. oh and plover is still alive and doing relatively fine compared to other characters who are like, dead. fen sympathizes with him isn’t that nice. there were at least 5 different opportunites to bring quentin back and they didn’t bring quentin back or leave opportunity for that. it’s bad. santa shows up for a minute? alice gets her fingers cut off and sewn back on and can’t do magic w one hand now but she’s a master magician so it turns out fine. there’s a line about “her lunacy identifies as she/her” talking about the moon, as if the magicians has any room to make pronoun jokes when they’ve had 2 trans characters that both died and weren’t even textually trans. at one point it turns out josh and fen fucked and margo tries to kill fen in a fit of jealousy and there’s a love triangle situation. fen is now a werewolf too btw. in conclusion! it fucking sucks.

in truth he forgets completely about this weird drowning now dead man until his monk employer is like go kill this guy you just have to he wasnt in the agenda but boss man says hes gotta go. thanks. and then he shows up to a park where diavolos like FINALLY I CAN FUCKING LIVE and kiras like oh shit what the fuck i thought you died and diavolos like HEY WHAT THE FUCK you let me DIE? and kiras like uh yea and now you’re alive? okay whatever im killing you now and before he can say anything else hes dead again. kira goes back to his boss and  is like yeah this is weird and shes like yeah i dont really care </3 

anyway they have many more run ins spaced out over years and years and one day diavolo really truly does have an upper hand over kira and gets away, and just as he pauses in his running away, a piano falls on him like a cartoon. cue laugh track
