Thinking about spiderman 2099 finding a little explored universe where there is a spiderwoman; reader fem who has something similar to a symbiote but when she meets her and manages to recruit her into the Spider Society discovering that she was not bitten by a radioactive spider as such nor does she have a symbiote, in her universe there are supernatural concepts and she handles those concepts very well, and has what to the multiverse is the equivalent of the radioactive spider.

Only the shock of the rest of the Spider Society to see the closest thing to a spider monster/entity/demigoddess (in my mind I already named it and it's Arachne) emerge from it and protect it in blind spots to disappear immediately afterwards, or remain as a billowing trail of energy around Reader.

Spiderman 1610 along with Spiderwoman Reader are on a mission to capture an anomaly in a very bizarre universe, they have little chance of catching them until that monster emerges from the shadows to wrap the frightened anomaly in almost pristine webs. Miles is terrified until he sees you emerge from under it at a leisurely pace.

George and the Dragon, made by ATV and written by sitcom stalwarts Vince Powell and Harry Driver, was first broadcast this month (November 19th) in 1966. It ran for four successful series and a total of 26 episodes until 1968.

It starred John Le Mesurier as Colonel Maynard, a likeable but absent-minded aristocrat (a neat blueprint for Sgt Wilson in Dad's Army); also Sid James as the scheming chauffeur George, Peggy Mount as cook-housekeeper (and George's nemesis), Gabrielle Dragon, and Keith Marsh (later Jacko in Love Thy Neighbour) as Ralph the gardener. It was a classic 'comfort watch', with great warmth and chemistry between the cast, who appeared to have great fun making it.

Keith Marsh was the last surviving member of the Maynard household, he passed away in 2013. Sid James died on stage at the Sunderland Empire in 1976, John Le Mesurier, to use his own words, 'conked out' in 1983, and Peggy Mount in 2001.

Advanced Driving with Graham Hill (lost ITV motoring series from 1974)

Advanced Driving with Graham Hill (also known as Advanced Driving) was an ATV motoring show. It was presented by two-time Formula One world champion Graham Hill.

It involved Graham Hill giving practical advice on how to become a better and safer driver on the roads of Britain.

Background

Advanced Driving with Graham Hill was conceived for ATV, most likely in response to the statistic that stated that 90% of road accidents were the result of poor or incorrect driving, as the shows name says, the presenter was two-time Formula One world champion graham hill.

Graham himself had famously experienced the consequences of serious crashes first-hand;

At the 1969 United States Grand Prix, his Lotus-Ford was suffering from bald real tyres, and crucially a popped-out seatbelt that he was unable to belt properly back-in, even with help from mechanics.

As he drove out again a rear tyre collapsed, causing the car to flip and he was thrown out of the cockpit.

He suffered leg injuries so severe that it was at first deemed unlikely that he would ever race again.

In the end, he recovered fast enough to race for the opening race the following season.

Six 30-minute episodes were made, and were broadcast between June 1974.

The first episode was Graham highlighted the importance of driving concentration, and ensuring fair tyre safety. Other episodes focused on issues such as reverse parking, overtaking, speed and windscreens.

Little else is known surrounding most of the show’s episodes, but the book with the same name, published in 1975 and co-written by Graham Hill and Neil Ewart, was notably based on the series.

Availability

While the book is generally available, the Tv series has yet to publicly resurface, with no footage or images being viewable. Considering ATV famously wiped some of its 1970s programmes, it's possible that Advanced Driving with Graham Hill suffered this fate.

Bonkers! is a British television variety show from ATV, and distributed by ITC Entertainment in the United States for syndication during the 1978–79 television season. The show aired later in 1979 on ITV in the United Kingdom. A total of 24 episodes were produced.

I can’t believe it’s another season!

Despite a strike-filled quarter in the Western world, I still found very little anime suitable to my tastes. I must accept that, like how Vtubees and Holothingies dominate the conversations these days, that the industry has moved on without me! (not that I really care…). But boy, is it hard to write a season preview when it’s the norm for shows to have a screwed-up production schedule to the point where they spillover into the following cour (here’s looking at you, Zombie show…)
