I'm sorry, when talking about friendships for tv characters it is rare to see it called a "relationship" instead of "friendship", and the phrases "stronger than ever" and "continues to flourish" isn't really used for friendships either.

You know what it IS used for? Romantic pairings. NO ONE is tuning into a show going "I sure hope these two characters that have been friends for 6 seasons and ended the season on good terms are still speaking!"

Like, imagine the Rookie promoting itself by saying "Nyla and Angela's relationship is stronger than ever and continues to flourish. " They wouldn't, because they are friends, we know they're friends, and nothing has happened to put a strain on their friendship. Their friendship is a strong point in the show and a favorite dynamic, but not plot relevant. But they *might* say something like that about Aaron and Celina because their friendship had been strained by Aaron's romantic feelings.

So like....what are we doing here?

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.

I think we as a society should bring back brotps. I think we should be weirder about characters being friends the same way people are weird about ships. Make those two characters who interacted once or twice besties. Make it difficult for them to get rid of each other even if they want to. Go nuts
