so like, songs already in-game that i would've liked to have been covered/covered by a diff group?

Setsuna Trip is the first to come to mind. I really wanted that to be Ichika/Saki. I still like the Minori/Airi version but I dunno I just think it would've worked better for Leo/need, especially since the instrumentation felt more pronounced on the sekai arrangement.

Back when we were waiting for the final vbs archive I said I thought Toya and An should cover Hibikase, Haikei Doppelganger, or Fraulein=Bibliotheka, and I still agree with those, even if An/Toya don't get in-game covers.

I also think it would've been cool if WxS got to cover Buta ni Natte yeah yeah since it's kinda a followup to potato ni Natte iku? Also I like both those songs a lot so it's a bit self indulgent but I still think it would've been good.

Bad End Night or Vampire's Pathos would've been great as WxS covers too...

While I'm at it I'm gonna complain about the obnoxious amount of full unit covers we got last year. Here's some full unit covers from last year that I think should've been duets:

Shiroi Yuki no Princess wa - Honestly I love this cover but the line distribution is a bit messy and I think it would suit being a duet. Any MMJ duet could work imo and I hope we get duet alts at least. Maybe Shizuku/Minori or Haruka/Airi

Aa, Subarashiki Nyansei - whose fucking idea was it to make a duet into a quintet, and then on top of it not even try to keep the line distribution consistent with the roles. Again, don't really mind what pair and ik this is a ship-bait-y song but i'd rather have a wxs cover with good mixing and line distribution than a cover for a ship i like lmao

Kyu-kurarin - Shizuku/Haruka. It's a bit different from what they normally cover but their solo alts sounded really good.

Shinkai Shoujo - back in like. literally 2021 I said I wanted this as a Shizuku/Haruka duet and I'm never letting that go.

Envy Baby - Mizuki/Ena. This is just because I think their vocals are really good there's no actual reason for it. (I know this is from this year but shhhh the point still stands)

For those little love songs, Albedo loves the song Only One (by Anh Duy) I refuse to be wrong- it's such a soft and sweet love struck song, definitely a song he'd like! And Xiao and Scaramouche vibing to Conqueror by Sendra (using IA English, I have her 😩) because "I got no breaks and I fuck all my doubts" (amazing line aHHH)

The one MASA song I can see Albedo liking is Star Lily Dance Performance cuz it's the less brutal one. More sad over anything else, especially when you realize what the meaning behind the song is (basically, Mai is on a dream where her and Akari end up together instead of dead, so it isn't gory and scary, but sad- and really pretty)

*drum roll*  Miku. There’s nowhere to go about it. I love len from the bottom of my heart, my crush on luka might be the most long lasting relationship in my life and I think V-flower has the best and most interesting voice out of all of them. (also lily desperately needs more songs her voice is incredible!) But no one gives me as much happiness as Miku. she’s that one thing that always lights that lil sparkle in my heart. sparkle sparkle

Butterfly on your right shoulder. ALWAYS.  

That song will be the greatest bop for forever and i will never grow tired of it. When I’m 95 years old and close to full body shut-down on every moment. I’ll still be jammin to this song with my robot butler or smth.

17.Best memory involving VOCALOID?

ok. this is going to sound greasy af but, few winters ago, it had just snowed for the first time and our whole yard was covered in like 10cm of snow and it just kept coming. i had my headphones and it was really dark. so.. i just fucking played butterfly on your right shoulder from my cheap mp3 player and danced until the whole yard was covered in my foot prints. honestly that whole scene let out like months of frustration and i was so happy after it. 

I really spent many years growing with vocaloid, so really the best memory with vocaloid is just the whole memory of those years of my life. Some songs remind me of moments I cherish and some remind me of people who matter to me.  

(also, random fact: I had this miku necklace which i didn’t take off for almost a year. it was really small and to me it represented like happiness and being true to yourself. lame. but yea. i look back fondly to those times when i was a giant nerd.)
