Echo and Crosshair have such a fun relationship to pick apart. They are both filled with this stubbornness and indignation. They are clever and funny, each in their own ways. They have strong convictions and aren’t quick to let go of their own perspectives especially when confronted with push back. Trust is so intertwined with both of their characters.

Imagine the sassy side eye looks they give each other when someone says Some Shit. Imagine the way they bicker with each other over really tiny things. Yet if someone were to say something nasty about the other there would be hell to pay.

Just Echo and Crosshair and the endless possibilities about what their relationship could’ve looked like.

now that all my hades (game) friends have seen hades (dad) I'm going to come out and say that as someone who cannot participate with media like a sane person, I looked through the game files within the first DAY of booting up the game and spoiled myself on hades (love of my life) being 1. Already in EA and 2. Down There Somewhere, which was why I completely tryharded so much to make all my runs go as deep as I can, beating out some more-hardcore gamers in runs taken for first clear lol

The Believers of the High Sun. 

For a collective that follows the mantra of “Light will burn away the shadows”, records of when and where they’ve started are few and far in between. Few are able to leave the collective of their own free will, and rumors are spread far. One common line between both is what the followers of the Sun define as “shadow”: 

Impurities that reach outside the definition of “humanity”, but like many extreme groups the definition is broadly defined by its members. What is common between every sect is that they see themselves as the crusaders of humanity, those that will cure it of the “infection” that lies within. 

Whether it be conversion or bloodshed. 

The two large sects have followings both in the Americas and much of the eastern European countries, though both serve the world on a grand scale as needed. The European portion differs largely from the one in the Americas as they choose to correct humanity’s path through word, as in the Americas they choose to correct with the hunt. 

In the Americas, specifically, they hunt down the creatures that linger in the shadows though they themselves sometimes don’t know how accurate their trackings are. Despite this, the Americas branch still holds a surprisingly high success rate when it comes to quelling monsters. 

The American branch of the cult is headed by the Martin family in Laredo, Texas, though they seem to have their own issues. Since Camila’s disappearance, one Emilia Ivanoff took the reins when her father finally passed but she seems keen on turning the group’s crusade into a path of vengeance.

The first time Sera met Manu, he was sixteen and she was thirteen. “This is the enemy. He wore a simple black uniform, soiled and torn, its only splash of color the metallic silver of the zips and the bronze-gold shoulder pads — and, of course, the circular insignia sewn onto the sleeve of his upper arm. It read the words: SS Puget Sound.  Sera, who had been studying Federation starships as part of her schooling and by extension cultural indoctrination, did not recognise the name.  “Yes, Mother,” is what Sera said, but what she actually thought was: He doesn’t look like the enemy. He looks like us. A southerner, that was. He lacked the distinctive forehead ridges to be compared to a northerner. The only other differences between the two of them, Sera noted, was that his ears were round instead of elegant and pointed, and that his skin was absent of any green undertone, which indicated that his blood must not be copper based.  The boy looked up at her, then. His body trembled slightly, but defiance burned hot in his brown eyes. Whatever he was afraid of, Sera deduced, it certainly wasn’t them.  “Ah, excellent! Most excellent indeed,” her father exclaimed as he came walking into their stately home, wearing his blue-grey senator’s robes. “I see that you have met Manu. He is to be our new household servant and my imperial cupbearer.” “You mean our new servi privati,” her mother corrected, looking down her nose at Manu with a stern, disapproving look. “Well… I, for one, would much rather look at his face all day than a Reman’s,” Sera remarked. She then moved towards Manu and took him by the arm, not ungently, pulling him to his feet. He was a good few inches taller than she was and Sera now had to tilt her head to look up at him. “Come with me,” Sera instructed, leading Manu away from her parents, who doubtless had words to exchange — heated from her mother and diplomatic from her father — about taking a Hevam boy into their service. Her words as much a guise to escape being dragged into the political debate as much as it was to sate her own burgeoning curiosity about the boy who now purposefully walked beside her.

The Romulan Way: a prime timeline variation inspired by MKS57's fic in which the ritual of "the last one" is actually the last male and female, except where La'an's Mark IV liferaft drifted into Federation space, Manu's drifted into Romulan space instead.

Me BSing hcs like: The fact that Kae is not only able to create a shield when he is dangerously low HP but also the fact that he is able to regenerate HP when he hits opponents with Frostgnaw is definitely due to him receiving his Vision when Diluc had tried to kill him in their Confrontation...but could it be possible that his familial ties to the Abyss Order could have influenced that HP drain of his-
