This is the most overlooked joke in the history of video games
I couldn't stop laughing back in 1992 when that line was stated. Now as an adult gamer, every time this guy shows up that line still makes me laugh

Hab gestern ScummVM auf meinem Tablet installiert, weil ich mal wieder Bock auf Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis hatte.

When I played Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis as a kid, I thought the only way to get into Atlantis proper was to just trial and error my way though the stone ring puzzle. I loved this game except for this one point because I would be sitting there, make a change and Indy said, “Well, that didn’t work.” That is until the miraculous time he didn’t and the door would open! Kid!me knew that Plato’s Lost Dialogue had hints/solutions to some of the stone ring puzzles, even one I believe is later in Atlantis so why won’t there be a hint/solution for the front door, kid!me didn’t know and just assumed trial and error was correct.
Well, I played the game again recently, reviewed the book and got the door open in a few tries. Turns out, a hint was in the book and I just have been quietly fuming about my mistake for a few months.
