I also just realized that we really only get the 7 days before the crash to really see the people Curly and Anya were before the crash. It's not even the full seven days. We get the first two and the last two with a gap in the time for what could have gone down.

I just realized how vague it was and how quickly it all happened. They are such small moments and such short glimpses. She's only just told Curly two days before the crash. The next she told Jimmy and Curly had to confront him. It's further implied right after that conversation, Curly goes to collect himself and figure things out and Jimmy immediately crashes the ship, once he's far enough to not stop him, cause he knows Curly would never truly allow it to happen.

But he takes that as the okay to go ahead, because in the long time he's known Curly, that's always been the okay.

The difference in the gaps in the timeline really just paint a bigger less explained but more obvious picture.

It's a method of discrimination by white supremacists, not a way for mixed race people that you think are unworthy of speaking to "claim" to be black. I don't know if mapanou has ever seen me, because I barely know them and certainly didn't share with them, but I have been doxxed plenty and my pics probably shared to them by others and im obviously not white though i am light skinned. im very proud of my dark natural hair, brown eyes, thick lips and big nose that I all got from my father. I have nothing to prove nor hide about who I am. I am black and asian and white and I love every part of what makes me, me. I am mixed race and if you don't believe or like me as I am that's your problem not mine. just wanna clear that up for all the people that may have been confused about it. and for all my followers that are mixed, especially black and asian, I love you and you have a place here. your voices and experiences are valuable and you deserve to be heard. that's all I got to say.

had another thought (oh dear) about sage abilities, specifically koga

i think the yiga teleport while cool, could lead to alot of problems with puzzles and render other things useless; so i thought, what if he gives you the ability to summon a bunch of koga clones? its like what miz kyoshia does so it serves as yet another connection to the ancient shiekah ways and the yiga, its something unique to koga (he does it in his bossfight in the rewrite), still kinda fits the shadow theme and, most importantly, fills the role of the sages in canon totk in my rewrite you dont have them glitching all around you at all times but summon their ability through the wheel selection thingy and aim it directly (no more chasing after sages and no annoying woop sage got knocked over while charging and you gotta start it again LOOKING AT YOU RIJU) and while you have zelda as a permanent companion and in the sage dungeon the according sage, thats still only two, so the clones would be useful as a distraction for enemies and serve as extra combat support for however long they last

it would also be a bit more spectacular which fits koga well imo

(still unsure about what to do about the spirit sage but im gonna draw a test ability wheel and sort out the other stuff and see whats doable; i really wanna give zelda the light laser too bc hell yeah go girl do some DAMAGE)

You know when you read a piece of fiction - book, short story, fanfic, what have you - and there’s just one tiny detail that just takes you completely out of the story?

I just read a passage in a piece of original fiction where the main character hugs a friend and tells us she smells like the ‘delicate rose and jasmine of her familiar Chanel No 5’ and my brain just screeched to a halt. Tell me you googled ‘famous fancy perfume’ and picked the first two scent notes you saw without telling me. Many things can be said about that particular fragrance I don’t think anybody with a working nose would describe it as ‘delicate florals’.
