Soooo I swore last year that I wouldn't listen to Blue Infinity until it was done because I refused to get dragged through the ups and downs of Desmond's schedule again

Well, the finale went up this morning and a certain someone (hi Escaped) has so helpfully reminded me of my promise so now I have to follow through

Final Thoughts

As with everything that Escaped creates, this was flawless

Absolute 10000000/10, I couldn't have asked for a better pirate adventure

I'm glad I waited, even if it meant I got bullied in the Discord every time a new episode came out and I was reminded of my vow

I know there's some very exciting things coming down the pipeline (Neon Memorium WHEN) and I can only imagine what you've got in store for us

Matador Gothic is still my favorite though, this is a close second but it's gonna take an act of God to dislodge Alfonso from his spot as best boy I don't know what to tell ya

HAD to rant about wilsiri after seeing how little content it has compared to some other ships such as wilashe.. Like guys wilsiri needs more stuff its so goddamn lacking!!! On tiktok it has 200 while wilashe and noelclaire have 400-500 and on ao3 wilsiri ONLY has 13 fanfics while wilashe has 57 WHAT IS THIS DIFFERENCE...

Also the fact that like AT THE LEAST 80% of the reasons why wilardo didnt kill claire is bcs of SIrius. Because in Wilardo's scenario and sirius's conclusion WIlardo literally had a talk with sirius and they had gotten just a TAD BIT or even more closer from that one talk in the kitchen yk?? Like wilardo always hesitated and stuff from killing or not claire bcs he talked to sirius and sirus literally moved wilardo with JUST SOME WORDS OF ADVICE like the smallest thing made an huge impact on claire's survival. Hobie misses how both of you called each other stupid nicknames and sometimes it didn't even make sense at all but you both will still laugh at it.

Hobie misses how he is picky on his food and always throws the food he doesn't like to you. Oh how now there's no one to help him clean up the food he's picky about, instead he ate it all, no matter how picky he was before. Hobie just thinks he's doing it for you, showing you that he isn't picky anymore.

"Do you even know how to play drums?" Hobie leaned on the wall asking you.

"No, but we don't have a drummer so I gotta learn," you shrugged.

"I'd rather you stay on the vocals."

"I know it sounds sad now but I can practice," you whined.

"Nope, get off the drums, I'll find us an official drummer," Hobie then drags you away from the drums.

It was before you both met Gwen, and you have an amazing voice, Hobie wants you to present yourself by doing what you're good at, and now, he hardly could practice without you being the vocals. Without your voice, your song, he can't focus.

Hobie looked at your grave, all he can remember is all the happy times Hobie spent with you, how you'll make him laugh in weird situations or how you could easily tell what Hobie wants just by his action so you can stop him before he does something really stupid.

Guess you weren't there to stop him from punching Miguel on the face.

"I should try finding some witchcraft, bringing you back to life as a zombie," Hobie joked while looking at your grave.

"Spider zombies sound nice," he laughed, totally trying not to cry.

"The band is nothing without you, if only more people can hear your majestic voice."

Hobie would visit you every once a month, maybe more if it's a special day.

When Hobie thinks he's going to lose it, he will disappear from everyone and just sit by your grave, tearing his heart out about how much he misses hanging out with you. Sooner, your grave will become a comfort place for him.
