A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) I feel like most would say he wouldn't be very affectionate, and for the most part I agree. I feel like the levels of affection he would give you would be based on how long the two of you are dating for. I see him more as a gift giving type of guy then a physical affection guy. Like coming home to you and giving you random (or very expensive items that of course he stole) items and trinkets.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) I feel like a friendship with him would start randomly, one of those friendships that when someone asks "so, when did you two meet?" you just stare blankly trying to remember how. The most logical way you two probably would become friends is through work, or he just saw you on the street and just decided it was your (un)lucky day and forced you to be his friend

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Whenever I think about him cuddling I always just think its a little off for him. I feel like he would try to push you off or get all "annoyed" but secretly wants you to cuddle him. He just wants to put up a fight for no reason. M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Be ready to cook for this guy, and if you cant cook? I guess you have to figure something else out because 1. N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) I don't have a lot of write for this one, as I said he's not really home at night, so when he is its special and you better make the most of it!

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Depends on the occasion, if its anniversary or a birthday he will go above and beyond for you. I mean this man could basically get you pretty much anything you wanted. But if its just some random date sure he would still try really hard to do anything you wanted but wouldn't go that hard into it if it wasn't a special event.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) Defiantly hygiene, he just doesn't care. He would probably try a little harder with brushing teeth and washing hair when you start dating him just because you would force him to.

Firstly, sorry if this is too long... summary: yan oc reactions to male/gn reader with a high pain tolerance whose platonic affection language is rough housing (biting , headbutts, body slams/shoulder bumps, aggressive bear hugs, or a good grip/squeeze. All of these forms of affection are done by reader with as much force as is allowed without actual damage and which reader happily reciprocates). Bonus, what're the reactions of rough housing intolerant yans when said reader starts trying to find someone else as an outlet for this affection need. Context: I saw the mini react to the affectionate chair wielding and had a thought. I am a very energetic and affectionate individual with folks I'm close with, and often times a gentle hug or soft touch just isn't enough to get across the energy and emotion or i just NEED something more grounding/comforting cause "yes this gentle hug is comforting my stress a little but i really REALLY need you to crush my soul and being back together with this next hug. Really trash compactor my body so i can feel whole again :) 💪". It's what i grew up with and what some of my friends encouraged/reciprocated (have definitely popped backs when giving each other hugs and once i popped someone's fingers when i was allowed a good squeeze). No one believed it when Scott said he had a partner. Not his brother, not his mother, not his father. I mean, he wasn’t exactly the most pleasant person. He was aggressive and moody, I mean, he was basically a teenage girl in the most coquette way. 

He was your silly boy, though, and you loved him dearly. Although he said he didn’t like it when you were super affectionate, you know he did. You called him sweet names, held his hand and hugged him, you did almost everything that would show you loved him. He did it too, in his own special ways. You understood it, even if you were the only one who did. The one thing that you haven’t been able to do to show your love yet is say it. 

Sure, it sounded like a red flag that neither of you could say it. The thing is, though, you were high schoolers. You weren’t meant to be perfect. You had your silly flaws, and you had a few blatant red flags. Even so, you made it work. 

After his brother left, he wasnt doing as well. You tried to be gentle with him, you knew what it was like for someone in your family to leave for the military. That’s when he started to get clingy with you. 

You’d be doing something on your own, and he would come up behind you and wrap his arms around your waist. He no longer whined when you held his hand, or kissed all over his face. Hell, he even affectionately bit you. Safe to say, he was… kind of a mess, but it's okay because it was cute. 

It was one of those days where he was physically attaching himself to your hip. Everything you were doing, he tried to join in on. After seven hours of doing that at school, he convinced you to come home with him. Or, at least, let him come to your house. He was sitting at your vanity (which was a desk that you placed against the mirror you put on the wall), probably eating your lipstick or some shit while trying to figure out what the hell everything was. You went to lie down on your bed, reading the Chronicles of Narnia again. He’s pretty sure he’s seen you read that fifty times since you started dating. 

Without saying anything, he crawled over to you and laid his head on your chest. You didn’t say anything, you just moved your book and put it on his back instead.

Doesn’t get why people compliment on his scent. Is it the shampoo he uses?? What is it abt his smell that people keep sniffing and going oh wow u smell really nice. Ningguang has him cleaned up and get some new clothes (scented with some verrry light perfume she uses herself ha) and drags him to a fancy dinner in Liuli Pavilion.

Yae Miko is not happy to see the Head of the Yashiro Commission strolling around with Aether in the Grand Narakumi shrine, sticking a bit too close to the traveller to her liking. Ayato and Yae Miko of course exchange some snark commentary the moment they meet and hidden barbs that Aether tries his best to mediate. Unfortunately something happens that requires Ayato to leave earlier to handle, and Yae is all too smug to smirk at him while placing herself at Aether’s side just where Ayato himself was and accompanying him instead. Ayato gives her a blank polite smile with no friendliness in his eyes.

Every Alpha wants to keep him but can’t do much for now as he’s focused on looking for his sister, and they want him to be successful on that. In the meantime whenever aether comes by to hangout they show off and present themselves in a myriad of ways to signal Aether that they could be potential mates for him.

I know a lot of people like Lumine and I do too, but I like Aether equally as well. Both are pretty neat as individual characters and I like to think Aether is the more soft-spoken gentle-mannered twin compared to Lumine who’s more outspoken and headstrong. If im not wrong when you see their attack animations, Aether is more defensive while Lumine is more aggressive hence why i headcanon aether as the more passive twin and Lumine as the active twin. So essentially soft boi Aether and boss ass bitch Lumine hehe

Don’t know if it’s just me but Aether doesn’t get as much attention or appreciation because he appears to be the typical uninteresting isekai’d protagonist to most people. (Btw, the stims I put are ones I think that fit, but are also ones that I have since I know those the best. But I'd be happy to hear any other ideas!)

i think out of the tateyama siblings seto & ayano are the most physically affectionate with each other... ayano generally i think has always smothered him with hugs and kisses when he was little cuz he was just so sweet and then str when he's huge shes like omg bear hug NOW‼️‼️‼️ but now seto isnt super flustered or anything and is used to carrying/hugging cuz of mary so theyre a perfect match....

and it's been that way for so long it's so embarrassing to change it up now. they wanna be physically affectionate with ayano too but also even seto AND even each other but they're like 😐im taking this feeling to the grave. but silently thank when ayano pulls them in for a group hug. they pretend to be annoyed but love it so much when they get to group hug..
