Thoughts on poly grand slams? Aka baseball x nickel x balloon x Suitcase?

Mostly a big fan!!! I've always been a Grand Slams truther. I like Bickel and Suitloon separately but I know a lot of people ship Nickloon. Not into it, but I get it. Balloon has two hands. He can make it work, I'm sure.

Suitcase and Balloon are just adorable, even if you're just being platonic about it. Even after the confusion of season 3, they still seem tight-nit. He wrote her a poem, damn it. That's so fucking cute. Suitcase changed Balloon, made him into someone who could learn to work with others again; in turn, Balloon gave Suitcase something to stand up for. She had a hard time defending herself, but when it comes to Balloon? She raises her voice, easily.

Bickel is an old classic. They've been a duo since day one. In my mind you can't really separate them. Maybe with Nickel's new character development, he can help Baseball get some more confidence in himself, not just as a leader, but as a person. They've very much got bromance vibes going on, but neither wants to talk about it.

Baseball really is the odd one out in the group, it feels like. Other than Nickel, he doesn't really have a genuine connection with anyone, and I think after season 2's events, Suitcase probably has mixed feelings. But I think Balloon and Baseball could be chill around each other, if Baseball put in the effort, and if Balloon was willing to go along with it. Baseball, despite being a "team leader," has always had an easier time following; he doesn't really know himself well. I think Balloon could help BB find himself, and help him transcend his code as the others have. Suitcase isn't going to pretend to tolerate Nickel, but Baseball its clear she can get along with, under better circumstances.

Tl;dr I really like the armless alliance + Balloon. Maybe I'll do a drawing in the future. For now I want to avoid burnout so I'm writing everything out instead.

Idk how receptive yall are for baseloon but recently I became so enamoured by it. I have a silly idea where I'd put them in like a book club with other characters. I also feel like Balloon would be the club leader and Baseball would feel a lot of Balloon's struggles as they'd move along...... Baseball club vice pres..... actually real. Idk who else would be in it (besides Nickel occasionally appearing because he's attached to both of them) I didn't think that hard about it yet but would loooove if others maybe said some more too. I might draw about it, it would at least give me more motivation to finally make an ii sideblog so I can post about silly objects.

i think bickel and nickloon are both extremely Toxic but in different ways tbh. w/ nickloon they actually did not like each other and nickel spent a lot of his time abusing balloon and balloon was a jerk to him too but by the end they have a lot more communication and genuine respect. like they've talked abt stuff and worked through their emotions and have a playful fun relationship. Forgive & forget

with bickel there was never a moment where they didnt absolutely love adore & respect each other but that could not save them bcuz they bring out the worst in each other and enable each other's biggest flaws and weaknesses. baseball adores nickel and doesnt know how to stand up to him, nickel doesnt understand social cues and thinks baseball is just the greatest ever. mutually assured destruction. nickel and balloon's relationship is pretty much healthy by the end of s3 but baseball and nickel would need to work through SO MUCH in couples therapy for them to be good for each other. They dont need time away from each other or open communication at this point they need a team of people. they need to particpate in a clinical study. they dont know how to define themselves outside of each other!!!!

<- saying this as someone who enjoys both nickloon and bickel as ships but Honestly prefers bickel it just speaks to me more. love the trope of two freaked up nerds who have loved each other forever. their love is never in question, their relationship is never the source of any conflict. they just make everyone around them worse instead <3

.... This might be the most self-indulgent thing I've ever drawn (and that's impressive!)

Basically I came up with this dumb thought that since a few of the contestants have been stuck in the show for like 4 years either because of season 3 or because they were one of the final 4, so they haven't gotten to see certain pop culture things.

So this is post show when the hotel gang is helping them catch up!

Okay gonna be a petty hater. B!vkloon sucks ass actually. Like this ship is just soooo ooc and doesn't understand Nickel's relationship with either of them. Also B@seloon is fucking boring. Nicksuitloon is the best throuple ship for the grand slams. All the components are great! Everyone's all "Nickel has two limbs!" So does Balloon! Why'd B!ckel and Nickloon get combined and not Suitloon and Nickloon (I know why but still). Like come ON people! (Also very important, in this case Nickel and Suitcase kiss too btw it's not a V with Balloon) - Lilac, the one with the stash, a love of Nicksuitloon and hatred of B!ckloon

baseloon book club anon here again to say- Ah, I really want to get to like- drawing so much about it- I'm really, like REALLY new to the osc (ii was my first, started watching bfdi) so like, I'll probably only get worse from here but if life isn't such an awful thing to try n bring me down. Anyways, this is just to say I'm alive and baseloon (and nickloon and bickel and nickbaseloon as I prefer to call it-) continues to give me happiness. I actually drew them before but Idk how some people would- feel about my designs? It's like anthro but I didn't feel like making them into humans. Also didn't feel like giving the armless objects arms in any way or hands but- I did another design choice to basically help them hold objects. Anyways regardless I do love my designs for all 3, and for like- I don't really like the designs I have besides Silverspoon cuz.... she's trans. to me. Idk why it's just a vibe tbh but it makes me like her so much more, especially cuz I incorporated trans colours in her design n it reminds me of like, pearls.... BUT XYEAH UMGH ALL THE RAMBLING BUT MY GOD DO I LOVE GAY ROUND OBJECTS IN LOVE AND TRANSFEM SPOON MY GOD
