I’m not too surprised at Misaki’s sudden death because it’s P.A. works and they also animated Akiba Maid War so…if you know then you know. But I do think she shouldn’t have died. We could’ve gotten the same “please protect my child because I know you love her dearly as much as she loves you” moment if she was hospitalized or resting at kyu chan’s place.

self inserts are great. some people have one they use for every media and i love seeing this one specific little guy people choose to represent themselves go on fun adventures and make friends with their favorite characters and fall in love with others. some people have a different insert for every media they ship from or even for every ship they have and that's??? honestly really impressive and cool how so many different things can represent a single person. sometimes they're fantastical and magical and sometimes they're just A Guy™ in Situations™ even if it doesn't really "fit" the media they're an insert for. and some of these designs?? the idea of gyaruo tori is especially funny to me bc its the Second time someones gyaru-ified themselves to impress Saiki, and so i just have this mental image of “Saiki is just really into Gyarus” becoming like. An accepted fact around the school and even with his friends. And Saiki’s just losing his mind over it but two nickels theory rules that people just think this is a thing now.

one piece of gyaru advice i dislike is that you should focus on one sub style and then branch out. you really don’t, especially if you don’t have the money to buy a whole new wardrobe (i know you have to commit but why do people act like it’s so easy to just drop cash for clothes…especially if you don’t live in a ‘first world’ nation). a jeans skirt, a tank top and some boots can be a gyaru outfit as long as you have the makeup and tan. if anything, i would tell baby gals to look at older mags first for makeup tips, then switch to clothing for which style works best for you.
