P.S. VW had enough time to adapt, at least since August 2016, when the first 330 mile electric car was shown to public by Tesla, but VW decided to play compliance electric vehicle strategy by keeping internal combustion engines as long as possible...At least since 2017, it has been clearly known how to design and produce competitive electric cars at a reasonable price...Chinese car manufacturing companies and government authorities have massively published electric car development strategies...VW ignored all technological news From China and Tesla by continuing to tell how it is impossible to build a "cheap" long-range electric car. In reality, it turned out that it is possible to do it!

In addition, sometimes it looks like VW's EV development strategy was planned by the diesel sales department and the trade unions, not the engineers...! VW's MEB platform is way to expensive...to manufacture and quite outdated...by ignoring best EV designs and manufacturing methods reached by competitors...a particularly big fiasco is the refusal to use LFP battery technology...

The result is that Chinese automakers have created the MG4, an electric car that should have been created by VW... Now German car manufacturers are suddenly talking about an "unexpected" crisis...!

The "crisis" could have been easily avoided! What a pathetic shame...

It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 146 mpg. You cannot tow with this EV. It also has no V2L or V2G capabilities; and
