.
"I did not expect to see you here." Enma said under his breath to Xanxus from where the two stood off to the side during the procession of Vongola Nono's funeral.
Xanxus smirked, "I have plans to send my dear old man off. Properly."
Images of Xanxus setting the casket aflame and dancing on the ashes flashed through Enma's mind.
"Oh?" Enma wasn't sure he really wanted to know.
"I brought a professional mourner to the funeral."
"A-" Enma opened his mouth, snapped it shut then spoke up again, "A… a professional mourner?"
Enma was sure he hit his head on the way to the funeral and was hallucinating at the moment.
The funeral passed by in a haze, not that Enma cared. Xanxus was the only reason he was present anyway.
By the time the funeral was about to draw to a close, and the only ones still around where upper echelons of the Vongola and bosses of allied famiglia and their right-hand men, Enma was squinting suspiciously at Xanxus; was he serious when he said that he hired a professional mourner or was he just messing with Enma (even though it seemed unlikely)?
That was when a sound cried out, "Oh, Timoteo! No!"
Enma blinked as a cute guy in a disheveled shirt, messy brown hair and distraught amber eyes, ran to the casket's side before flinging himself at it.
The newcomer wailed. Enma was sure that he was saying something, but he couldn't focus enough through his haze of shock. When Xanxus said professional mourner, he hadn't expected… this.
Enma could only make out words that sounded suspiciously like: 'what about the children?', 'you said you loved me' and 'I can't believe you're leaving me like this'.
As the mourner proceeded to throw allusions to having an illicit affair with the former don that resulted in kids, plus allusions about Nono's sex life that Enma really, really, could have lived his life without knowing, the other dons looked stricken (not that Enma was doing any better, he was sure his mouth was hanging open), in the front row, Sawada Iemitsu looked ready to raise Vongola Nono from the dead to kill him again, Dino was determinedly staring blankly at the ground, Byakuran looked as amused as he always was and Yuni occasionally gave a scandalized gasp from behind a hand (actually, Enma knew for a fact she was trying to smother her laughter).
Suddenly, the mourner rose to his feet, sniffing delicately and dabbing at his eyes with the handkerchief given to him by Iemitsu; the movement attracting the attention of the stunned crowd to the ring the mourner was wearing- the Vongola Sky Ring.
There was a collective gasp as the audience crash landed on the realization that Vongola Nono apparently had an illicit affair with his heir.
(Or did he declare his lover his heir? Some of the people in the audience murmured.)
"I'm so sorry, Timo. I know you wanted me take over the Vongola after you but I cannot, simply cannot, wear the ring you once wore, sit on the chair you always sat on, work on the desk you always worked on and rule over your family. I don't think I'm strong enough for such an inheritance. Your memory shall haunt my waking hours and my dreams.
"For that, I must give over the leadership to your beloved son, Xanxus!"
"Xanxus, you bastard." Enma cursed quietly.
"Heh." Xanxus seemed to find the situation amusing.
(Enma did not blame him. Enma would probably find it highly hilarious after the shock wore off.)
Xanxus strode forward, gracefully accepting the ring from the mourner and escorting his shivering form away from prying eyes.
Enma considered slamming his face repeatedly against a hard surface in hopes of waking up from this extremely weird nightmare- by all things holly, Enma wanted the image of Xanxus valiantly escorting a shivering cute guy away from people while offering a consoling shoulder for the aforementioned cute guy, forcibly removed from his brain and all traces scrubbed away.
Xanxus and the mourner walked towards where Enma was situated before Xanxus let the mourner go into Enma's arms.
Enma had a complete mental shutdown at the contact.
"Hi. I'm Tsuna!" The mourner, Tsuna, smiled up at him.
Enma looked at Xanxus who shrugged at him and sauntered away to his own boyfriend, Dino.
Enma looked back at Tsuna who was staring at him pensively.
That was it; Tsuna was clearly some sort of Black Widow who just had Enma sacrificed to him by Xanxus.
Enma tried to telepathically convey distress signals to Xanxus, but to no avail.
There was a snort, "Relax, I'm not going to eat you."
Enma looked at Tsuna just in time to catch his eye roll.
"I am not going to eat you." Tsuna repeated in a huff, half-amused, as he raked a hand through his hair, "Xanxus just wanted to introduce you to his future Outside Advisor."
"You're going to be the Outside Advisor?" Enma asked, tone neutral.
"Oh, yes." Tsuna put his hands on his hips, "I gave the ungrateful bastard the Decimo position, and he landed me with the position of Outside Advisor. The asshole."
(And that was the start of Enma's acquaintance with the former Vongola heir. Enma still wished he could murder Xanxus for it later.)
.
Extra- deleted scene:
"Oh yeah, I'm Iemitsu's son. And Primo's descendant. I have the Drama Queen in my blood."
.
End.
Once again, I'm so, so sorry for this shit piece of trash fic. But what type of primarily self-indulgent author would I be if I didn't have at least one trash fic?

Would You Drop by the Afterlife on Your Way Back? Part 2 (Final)
Previous
.
The two finally went to the Sun division, the check up and recovery processes passing faster than Xanxus expected.
It was all Sawada's fault, Xanxus had gathered from the dissatisfied muttering of the motherhenning Suns, complaining about Sawada Harmonizing with Xanxus just to get him up to snuff.
Which, actually, threw Xanxus for a loop, he knew about Skies Harmonizing with other Elements but he never heard of Skies Harmonizing with other Skies.
The soul reaper doing a final check up (after he kicked out a jittery Sawada, to 'avoid distractions') apparently understood Xanxus' silent dilemma and sighed before putting away his pen and papers, "It's Tsuna's special skill. Did anyone mention him being one of our Sector's best Skies at handling Harmony? He is. It's why he gets sent out to get people like you, stuck in the ice." He then ushered Xanxus towards the door, "Now, beat it, kiddo, no one here is in the mood to deal with a jittery Tsuna, he's susceptible to burning things down. Take him to see Ricardo-sama or Lavina's little brat, he may calm down."
When Xanxus exited the examination room, Sawada tugged him and urged him to follow, "We'll go see Ricardo. I don't know what Daniela has planned, but whatever it is, we'll need Ricardo in the know. He's very good with clean and cover ups."
Luck was on their side and they met Ricardo just outside the Sun division.
Or, actually, luck may not have been on their side as Ricardo looked worried, "Do you have any idea what Daniela is planning? She just snatched up her three kids and the four of them have been discussing Things with Elena. Elena is giggling. I repeat, Elena is giggling."
"I don't know!" Sawada threw his hands in the air before stuffing them into his mane of hair.
Ricardo raked his hand through his hair, "I'll go get paperwork ready for any possible emergency that may crop up."
Sawada launched himself at Ricardo and held his hands between his, "If I didn't know exactly how much you wouldn't want it, I'd have staged a rebellion, kicked the captain out and declared you the new captain."
Ricardo shook his head, "Tsuna, I thought we talked about this."
Sawada deflated, "Yeah, I know, no more overthrowing your father just to instate his second seat as captain."
"I have to go, Daniela is coming over. Keep me posted, all right?"
Sawada nodded.
Nonna walked up to them with a particularly vicious grin, "Xanxus. We'd like your help."
Xanxus knew better than to deny his grandmother.
And clearly, Sawada knew to stay the fuck out of her business, evidenced by how he crept away from the two of them.
"Oh. No, you don't." Nonna's arm shot out and her hand latched onto Sawada's shoulder with a vice-like grip, "We'd like your help, too."
Sawada whimpered; Xanxus did not blame him.
.
Elena was a devastatingly smiling beauty who'd be right at home bonding with Lussuria.
And then she opened her mouth and spoke, driving in the need to be thankful that there was no she was in contact with Mammon deep into Xanxus, "We'll be invading his dreams."
Xanxus would be an asshole and petulantly ask whom she was referring to, but he was surrounded by his brothers and grandmother, all of which were deceased. And with him in the equation, they were all connected to one person whom they could possibly have a reason to torment in his dreams.
His dear 'father'.
Elena waved a hand, "You know that idea about seeing your dead family in your dreams? You get to have payback and possibly also convince him to free Xanxus. Two birds, one stone."
Elena and Nonna high-fived each other.
"Now, let's get to it. Tsuna, be a dear and get us there,"
Sawada murmured from where he was standing next to Xanxus and his three siblings, "I'm one hundred and fifty three years old. I outrank Daniela and I shouldn't let her boss me around like th-"
"Tsuna."
"Alright! Alright!"
Sawada's shoulders slumped and he stepped forward before he repeated the process Xanxus witnessed before to open the same portal he did before inside Vongola HQ.
"There!" Sawada gestured towards the portal, then he crossed his arms and pouted.
Elena and Nonna stepped through, Nonna snatching Tsuna with her on her way. Federico smiled helplessly as he followed, accompanied by a smirking Massimo and a snickering Enrico, who tugged Xanxus with them.
Surrounded by his brothers and following his grandmother, Xanxus' tense shoulders relaxed for what felt like the first time since Federico was declared dead.
After they stepped out of the portal into a corridor Xanxus recognized as one being near the Ninth's quarters, what Sawada had said before about people being unable to see them slammed back into the forefront of his mind, helped along by the sight of Visconti bypassing them without a glance in their direction.
"Let's go!" Elena tore down the corridor with disturbing confidence, Nonna and Xanxus' brothers not far behind her.
Sawada sent a helpless look at Xanxus who shrugged and followed after his family, confident that Sawada would follow.
.
The ninth was lying in bed when they entered his bedroom. The occasional tremor wracked his frame, his fingers twitching and his eye brows furrowing faintly.
Xanxus wondered what he was dreaming about to make him act that way in his sleep.
Nonna halted next to him with an inscrutable look on her face, before it was replaced with a steely look and she nodded in Elena's direction.
The group gathered around the bed in a circle, sans Sawada who climbed onto it and crawled close to the Ninth.
"Alright, Tsuna, work your magic."
Sawada nodded, his amber eyes sliding into a glowing orange color.
Xanxus, realizing that Sawada was about to Harmonize with the Ninth, focused his attention on him to see him at work (he hadn't seen it properly at the Sun division and his curiosity was nearly killing him).
Sky flames burst into life on Sawada's forehead, spreading down his arms and snaking upwards from his shoulders into the air.
The flames then branched into web-like patterns, expanding throughout the room and beyond. Xanxus could feel the Harmony wrap around him and the others, could feel it reaching outside of the room and shooting down corridors, snatching up anyone in its path into its web with no one other than the spirits being the wiser. The flames reached outside Vongola HQ and engulfed it completely.
"Ready whenever you are," Sawada spoke, voice deep and emotionless.
Elena strode forward, the ring she wore glowing with Mist flames as she trailed her hand across the bed sheets, over the Ninth's shoulder, neck and face, her fingers stopping in mid-air, hovering above the Ninth's forehead.
And then her fingers descended.
Once she made contact with the Ninth, her flames embraced them from where Xanxus didn't notice they were surrounding them.
The flames tugged them forward, helped along with Sawada's Sky flames.
There was a burst of light, and they were falling.
They were falling, falling through smoke and lights, through fire and ice, through water and clouds, until they weren't falling anymore.
Their landing was gentle; their new surroundings recognizable; they were standing inside the room Xanxus had confronted the Ninth in.
The room was empty except for Xanxus, Nonna, Enrico, Massimo, Federico and the Ninth.
The Ninth was kneeling on the floor; there was a pool of blood in front of him.
Nonna walked towards him, her clothes changed from the soul reaper uniform to her old red suit, her heels clacked on the floor, causing the Ninth to whirl around and face her.
His blank expression melted away into one of shock.
"Timoteo," Nonna spoke, her voice reverberating through the place, her tone was flat.
The Ninth stiffened, his eyes moving from her to Xanxus and his brothers (who were all surrounding him), and back again before settling on Xanxus.
The Ninth paled.
The dream space shifted, and Xanxus' body encased in ice slipped into being between the Ninth and Nonna.
If it was possible, the Ninth paled even more.
"Your own son, Timoteo." Nonna's voice was like thunder.
The room shook and the five spirits slipped away from the dream.
Back in the Ninth's room, Elena observed each of them carefully before removing her hand from the Ninth's forehead.
Nodding her head at Sawada, she stepped away from the bed.
Sawada took a deep breath and gradually retracted his flames. When he was finished, he hopped away from the bed.
The moment Sawada stepped away, the Ninth started shaking, his flames fluctuating.
Mere moments later, the Ninth jolted awake at the same time his door was kicked down as his guardians flooded the room.
"Timoteo?" Ganauche neared his boss, carefully sweeping the room for any signs of danger, his gaze passing over the spirits in the room more than once without noticing them.
The Ninth rushed out of his bed, stumbling over his feet as he grabbed his cane. He speed-walked, almost running, out of the room.
The spirits followed him alongside his guardians.
They ended up in front of a door very familiar to Xanxus.
The door opened, revealing the same room they were just inside in the Ninth's dream. Except this time, it was Xanxus' frozen body lying in-wait for them.
"Your rings!" The Ninth barked, walking up to the ice and holding out his hand with the Vongola Sky ring. The guardians seemed to hesitate for a moment before they followed the Ninth's command and stepped up to the ice, reaching towards it with hands adorned with the Vongola rings.
In-unison, the seven lit their rings.
Fire burned strongly on top of each ring, and next to each ring-bearer, a specter formed, taking the form of each ring's respective first holder: Vongola's first generation.
Xanxus didn't have time to react to the Mist specter taking Elena's form (instead of the expected Deamon Spade) as Sawada nudged him, telling him to brace himself before he walked towards the ice as well, his flames bursting out and encompassing him like a cloak.
Sawada stepped up next to the Ninth and held his hands to the ring, causing the fire burning on the ring to grow into a great column of flames.
And then the ice started melting.
Massimo's hand landed on Xanxus shoulder, tightly squeezing it before letting go to give Enrico and Federico the space to tightly hug Xanxus. After the hug was finished, Nonna walked up to him and held his face in her hands, her eyes staring deeply into his, before she kissed him on the forehead.
Then the ice was melted completely, Xanxus' body dropping out of it and into the Ninth's hold; Xanxus felt his chains' rattling ring in his ears as they tightened around him and pulled him towards his body.
Heaviness settled around his form, weighing him down, making him feel almost like drowning. He tried to struggle but Sawada touched him and his form went limp.
And then everything faded to black.
.
Everything was a mess.
Xanxus sighed explosively and scrubbed a hand down his face, ignoring the faint tremors in his fingers, the moment he was alone in his office.
Only a day had passed since he woke up, his body having been removed from the ice only a few hours before he regained consciousness.
He'd steamrolled his way into his office in Varia HQ, ignoring the protests of the resident motherhens (Squalo naturally being the loudest) over him needing to rest more before he returned to his work.
The events of the previous day would have felt like a wild hallucination, had Xanxus not been feeling the lingering effects of Sawada's flames fighting against the ice-induced coldness and numbness in his body.
And there was also the matter of his silent observer, going unnoticed by all but Xanxus.
Given that Xanxus was the only one inside the office, he took the chance to question the only other person in the room, "Oi, trash. Weren't you supposed to go unseen by living people?"
Sawada stepped up to Xanxus' desk, acting casually as if he didn't reek of flames and his eyes didn't hold the faintest glow of orange, and he shrugged, "Normally, yes, but you're still Harmonized with me and you're a special case. Your soul is still not settled in properly. Plus-" Sawada's hands went inside the folds of his clothes and took out some papers, "-remember what Ricardo said about preparing paperwork for any possible outcome?" Sawada put down the papers on the desk, "This is official permission to grant you access to your spiritual abilities, which you unlocked after your 'out of body' experience. At least enough to see us and be able to interact with us. Plus permission to share certain topics with you."
Xanxus scowled down at the papers as he scrutinized them, "This has been signed by your fucking captain. Don't you have any rules about living people being in contact with your Soul Society or something?"
"We do. But there are exceptions. And. Well." Sawada scratched his cheek, "Mama and Cozart tag-teamed the captain. He can't say no to them. I think mama was a little sad she didn't get to have you over."
"And why would she have me over?"
"You miraculously spent only an hour or so in Soul Society so you didn't have to follow the rest of the procedures."
"Which are?"
"We'd have spirits ejected out of their body go into hiding using an artificial body while we work out the logistics of how to handle extracting the body from the ice. As a matter of fact, I could have melted your body when I first came to get you, but I didn't because one, my priority was your soul's state, you needed to visit the Sun division to heal up before we got you back into your body without any backlash from the ice.
"And two, where would I have gone with your body if I did melt it? Sure, your soul would return to your body, but you would need days to wake up and your body would require care. My initial plan was to get into contact with the Varia and get them in on the plan without telling them about the soul-related specifics.
"Except Mammon needs copious amount of money for compensation and so I needed time."
Xanxus' scowl deepened, "And you just do all of that out of the goodness of your hearts?"
"Kinda?" Sawada grimaced, "It's a repayment of sorts. The ice technique was created by our captain; think of it like taking responsibility for his actions."
Xanxus dropped the papers and leaned back in his chair, "And you expected me to what? Play nice and stay with you just like that?"
"Oh no." Sawada waved a dismissive hand, "We'd offer you jobs as a substitute until you got your body back."
"A substitute."
"Yeah. Those exist. Spirits of people who wander out of their body via astral projection usually do that. We get a lot of Mists working as substitutes as a result. Like Mammon. You can ask them about it. Or not. Mammon is Mammon." Sawada shrugged helplessly, "And then there are those like you. We provide you with an artificial body that looks either quite older or younger than your actual age so that you can interact with people without arousing suspicion from those who know you as you, and we, figure out a way to get your body back."
Silence stretched between them as Xanxus turned all of what Sawada said over in his head.
Some minutes later, he spoke, "And what do substitutes do?"
"They have nearly the same job as ours. Mainly the taking down corrupt souls and sending the still not corrupted ones to Soul Society. You don't have to deal with any of the bureaucratic aspects, lucky you." Sawada smiled wryly.
Xanxus decided to continue questioning Sawada, since he 'had permission' already, it was better to milk the chance for all it was worth.
"What marks the corrupted souls as different?"
Sawada's features blanked and his eyes glowed briefly, "It's difficult to miss them. They are quite known in the criminal underground of the living world. Known and feared."
That was when the door to the office banged open and Squalo briskly walked up to Xanxus' desk with a huge scowl. He dropped the files he had with him on the desk.
"Shitty boss," Squalo ground out, clearly still pissed about Xanxus returning to work so quickly, "Shit happened not too long ago." He glared down at the files as if they personally offended him, "It seemed like a famiglia was taken down in short time a couple of hours ago. The Estraneo. Completely wiped out and their base burned to the ground-" Sawada suddenly grinned mirthlessly, his flames, burning underneath his skin, burned hotter, spreading an air of grim satisfaction, "-Vindice were on the scene." Squalo scowled harder, "And Mammon-supported rumors have it that at least one of the Vindice guards was taken down by the mysterious assailant."
Sawada barked out a harsh laugh, his eyes glowing orange, "Elena had so much fun with them. Don't worry, she'll be paying Mammon with some bonding time."
Squalo stormed out of the office while Xanxus flipped through the files, his mind reeling from the new information.
Sawada hopped onto the desk, eyes scanning the words before pointing his finger directly at the mention of the Vindice, "Like I said: known and feared."
Xanxus felt a wild laugh threaten to erupt from his throat. "Why are you telling me all of this? Is it just the permission?" Normally, he'd be more collected and careful, but he'd just been told by a person who looked like a teenager, but held an aura of someone ten times older and experienced, what the nature of the Vindice (the obscure, feared, revered jailors of the underworld) was.
Xanxus would be damned but he believed him.
Sawada leaned forward until he was nose to nose with Xanxus, "This is a personal request from Daniela; I'm here to ask you." Sawada pulled out what looked like a badge with a flame depicted on it and a ring.
"Would you accept our job offer to work with us as a substitute?"
.
End.
Would Xanxus accept or not?
Who knows… certainly not the author.

.
It was cold.
Everything was cold.
Xanxus shuddered and inwardly cursed as the ice tightened its hold on him, seeped into his body and latched onto his flames like a disease.
He had no idea how long it had been since he'd been trapped; it was difficult to keep track of the time while he was literally encased in a block of ice and he had nothing other than his own thoughts for company.
With every passing moment, he could feel himself slip away. To where, he had no idea; and he didn't know whether it would be a good or a bad thing.
The ice slid down his frame, it was a startling motion, one that never happened before.
The ice was sliding away and he was slipping, fast and unobstructed, until he felt himself hit the floor.
A warm hand settled on his shoulder with a whispered 'finally', and Xanxus leapt to his feet, jolting away from the presence he could feel with him in the room.
His body felt weirdly light- how long had he been in the ice? His body was being very responsive, unexpectedly so.
He focused his attention on the other person in the room; the sight that greeted him was very shocking.
In front of him was the specter of Vongola Primo, solemn and holding his hands up, next to him was a miniature copy of him: a teen with striking resemblance to the first Vongola boss but with brown hair and amber eyes. Unlike Primo's specter, the teen looked perfectly solid and was dressed in black clothes that appeared to be of Japanese origins.
The teen approached him, hands raised just like Primo, "Hey," He spoke with a quiet voice, as if Xanxus was a little animal who could startle at any moment and run away.
(Xanxus was half pissed, half full of enough spite to make him want to maul the kid.)
"I'm Sawada Tsunayoshi."
Xanxus blanked; he was in the ice long enough for that fucker Iemitsu to have a fucking kid?!
"I'm here to take you to where you can get medical attention," The brat, who may or may not be Iemitsu's spawn, continued, apparently ignorant of the mind-breaking thoughts going through Xanxus' head faster than the Prince brat latching on recently sharpened knives, "You've been in the ice for a couple of months already-" Wait, what? "-Your soul has already escaped your body to avoid further damage-"
"Hold. The. Fuck. Up." Xanxus growled. The brat stopped, "Fucking explain what you just said about my soul."
"If you'd look behind you." The brat pointed.
Xanxus whipped around, walking a bit sideways to keep the brat in his line of sight while he looked at the ice.
And then he understood.
There, in the ice, was his own body still trapped. Xanxus raised his hand, observing it, if he focused well enough, he could see it fade away at the edges.
He turned the majority of his attention back to the brat, who apparently understood what the look on Xanxus' face meant and elaborated, "You've been in there for two months, no one is supposed to stay in that specific type of ice that long, and that's why your soul left your body as a type of self-defense mechanism, leaving the body in stasis inside the ice."
"So, I'm dead." Xanxus ground out, fists clenched to hold in the anger, at least until he received a satisfactory explanation.
"Oh, no, you're not, yet." The brat shook his head, "It's like you're in a coma. Your soul is still attached." The brat raised his hands a little higher as they glowed orange, the glow brighter around what looked like a ring on his right hand. Around Xanxus, there was a faint rattling of chains that appeared around his figure, glowing orange and red, and leading to his body still in the ice.
"Those are your chains of fate." The brat shook his hands, the orange glow around them fading from view along with the chains, except the chains weren't gone completely; if Xanxus listened attentively enough, he could hear their faint sounds at the edges of his hearing. "As long as they're connecting your body and soul together, you'll still be effectively alive."
"So, if they all are severed, I'll die."
The brat furrowed his eyebrows and quirked his head to the side, "It depends? You have access to Dying Will Flames, so if the chains are severed, you can will them to mend themselves if you're determined and willful enough. People who don't are effectively dead the moment their chain of fate is severed."
"Chain?"
"Dying Will Flames users have multiple chains, which come from their original chain snapping in order to access the Flames for the first time. Next question?"
Xanxus raised an eyebrow at that; the brat seemed content to answer his questions.
Whether he was being truthful or not, Xanxus had no way to ascertain.
"And you are?"
"I'm Sawada Tsunayoshi, a shinigami, a soul reaper."
"You just said that I wasn't dead, what's your business with me?"
"Reaping souls isn't our only job." The brat hurried to explain, "We do other things, too. We purify corrupt souls that stay in the living world too long; we take the souls of the people who die to Soul Society; we also handle cases like yours. You're not the first person to stay too long under the Flames' ice, we kind of have a procedure for that." The brat gave a shaky smile, "We get the souls of people like you and take them to soul society where we heal the damages as we plot a way to get the body out of the ice. I'm here to take you."
Xanxus deliberated, "How will you take me?"
"I can open a portal, a doorway between here and Soul Society, and take you through. Besides, it's not like the people here can actually see us."
Xanxus stilled.
"It takes high spiritual power for us to be seen, even for Dying Will Flame users." The brat shook his head, "We could parade from here to the entrance while singing at the top our lungs and stomping on the ground and no one will notice."
"So, are you coming?" The brat gave him a look and suddenly, suddenly, Xanxus saw; the brat's eyes held the faintest orange glow, and an old presence peeked through them.
For all that he looked fifteen, he was far from it. And while he phrased it like a question, it wasn't one. The bastard was just making it look like Xanxus was given the courtesy of a choice.
Sawada Tsunayoshi's eyes told him that should Xanxus decline, he was perfectly ready to take Xanxus by force.
"You're asking me?" Xanxus scoffed and strode towards Sawada, who smiled at him, pleased.
(Xanxus wanted to wipe that smile off the bastard's face.)
Sawada turned to Primo, who was silent throughout the conversation, "Thank you for notifying us."
Primo's specter nodded before he faded away.
Sawada hummed, "You'll meet the real thing in Soul Society. Actually, you'll meet a lot of people you've only heard about there."
It was then that it dawned at Xanxus what it could possibly mean for him to go to the veritable afterlife.
Sawada looked at him with a small smile, "Oh, there you go. Yes, you have family on the other side."
Sawada raised his right hand, the ring on it glowing as he made a fist and pushed it forward in front of him, he then turned it like it was a key.
There was a loud click, and a pair of Japanese doors appeared in front of the two, an orange glow shining from behind them.
Sawada opened them, showing a hallway made of writhing flames.
Sawada gestured forward, "Sky Flames, they're pretty harmless unless I wanted otherwise. Getting you to Soul Society safe and sound is my priority, so you don't need to worry about me deciding to burn you to ashes once you step through."
Xanxus looked between Sawada and the literal flaming hallway, and decided, fuck it, and he stepped into the corridor.
The walk through the hallway was silent.
When the two reached the other end, Sawada waved his hand and the flames parted, revealing an expanse of blue sky.
Sawada walked forward until the edge and looked down before he made a triumphant sound, "Okay, we got our landing covered. Let's jump." And Sawada proceeded to do just that.
Xanxus poked his head out of the opening and looked around; the hallway opened somewhere high in the sky. Down, there were houses surrounding a walled town made of white buildings that stood in contrast with their surrounding area.
In mid-air, Sawada appeared to have been caught in a ring of symbols that was holding him suspended. Sawada looked at him and gestured for him to jump.
Xanxus braced himself, not only was he asked to jump from this height, but also asked to entrust his safety to a stranger.
Could someone die as a soul?
Xanxus huffed and jumped, wishing he had his guns on him, but prepared to blast flames from his bare hands to handle his drop if need be.
He didn't need to in the end, as just as he reached Sawada, another ring came into being and surrounded him, halting his descent.
The two rings than began to gradually drop closer to the ground at a steady pace.
"Earth Flames," Sawada said in lieu of an explanation, "I don't think they're known in the living world except for a select few, and that's only because they use it. It's another set of Dying Will Flames, like the Dying Will Flames of the Sky and its branches."
By the time Sawada finished speaking, the two had reached the ground, the rings dissipating and safely depositing them on their feet in front of a broad-shouldered, red-haired man with red eyes that had compass-like markings for pupils. The man was dressed in the same fashion as Sawada except he wore a sleeveless, reddish-brown coat on top.
He smiled at them, "Tsuna, welcome back." He then turned to Xanxus, "You must be Xanxus, I'm Cozart, welcome to Soul Society." Cozart turned around and gestured for them to follow him, "I'll be taking you to the Flame Sector where you will be staying."
Cozart led them to the walled city through a side-entrance.
("No need to attract attention by asking the gate's guard for entrance," Cozart had said.)
The walled city was as grand as it looked from above with its big, white buildings. Xanxus noticed there were whom he assumed to be other soul reapers like Sawada and Cozart, as they wore the same black garb. Except those in the city carried swords with them, unlike Sawada and Cozart who only seemed to wear a ring instead.
Xanxus figured that it had to do with Dying Will Flames; there were probably two types of soul reapers, some dealt with souls that had Dying Will Flames and some dealt with the souls that didn't, and Cozart had mentioned a Flame Sector.
The Flame Sector didn't look distinctly different from the other buildings. The only thing that separated it was the boundary wall; it extended much farther than the boundary walls Xanxus passed on his way, which indicated a much bigger area. The entrance was modest and had a sign with a flame drawn on it, on top.
All the building were designed with a Japanese style like the rest of the city, they were spread out in a way making them face a courtyard. Each building had a sign on top of the entrance, and from what Xanxus saw, he concluded that each building was specific for a flame type.
Cozart indicated the building that had a sign with a flame, very like the one on the entrance, "I'll leave the rest to you, Tsuna, I have paperwork to do-" Xanxus twitched; the afterlife had fucking paperwork?! "-you know what you have to do."
Sawada sighed, "Yeah. I do."
Cozart smiled apologetically at him and Sawada waved him off, "It's not your fault. It's just… you know how bad he can get sometimes… and you know how our latest visitor looks like."
Both Sawada and Cozart gave Xanxus strange looks that he couldn't describe and it grated at him. A part of him felt the overwhelming need to run and never look back, but he squashed it down; it couldn't possibly be worse than that time involving him, Enrico, Squalo and a couple of dresses.
Sawada trudged towards the building with the flame sign, calling out to Xanxus, "C'mon! I'd rather get this done with very quickly. Hopefully, we can get you to the Sun division within the hour.
Sawada walked towards the building like he was walking towards his own execution, Xanxus didn't want to go too.
Sawada whipped his head to stare at him, eyes flashing orange, "You will come as well, or so help me Soul King, I know just the person to threaten you with."
Given that they were in the afterlife, Xanxus also knew who that person could possibly be, so he cut his losses and stomped towards the building as well.
And so, the two walked towards their doom.
Sawada led Xanxus through the hallways, passing other soul reapers who gave them sympathetic looks before they continued on their way, as if this wasn't the first time something like this happened.
Sawada stopped in front of a pair of sliding doors. He took a deep breath before he opened them.
"Tuna-fishie!" Came a cry from inside.
Sawada launched into a flying roundhouse kick, nailing whoever came flying at them for what appeared to be a flying tackle hug, and sending them crashing.
"Ow!" Xanxus peered inside the office to see a figure lying among scattered papers. They raised their head, to pout at Sawada.
"Tuna-fishie!" What appeared to be a Vongola Primo lookalike whined.
"Captain," Sawada ground out, Xanxus was slightly impressed, "What did vice-captain Storm say about flying tackles?"
"Not to do them." Xanxus heard a person approach the room, "But G is a killjoy!"
The newcomer bypassed Xanxus and Sawada on their way inside, with an air of muted murderous intent, "I'm a killjoy, huh?"
"Ah… G…" G walked into the room and grabbed the Primo lookalike from his clothes to deposit him on the desk.
"Sawada Giotto Ieyasu. Fucking do your work."
Vongola Primo, and holy fuck the guy really was Vongola Primo, pouted, "Fine!"
He sighed and settled himself to start gathering up the scattered papers.
G turned to Sawada, "So, Tsuna, you're here to report?"
"Yes," Sawada started, gesturing to Xanxus, "Extraction successful, I'll be taking Xanxus to the Sun division for medical examinations. I'll turn in my written report later."
"Oh my god, G, he lo-!" G slapped a hand over Primo's mouth.
"He looks just like Ricardo, we know. Now, get back to work."
Sawada grabbed Xanxus and dragged him out of the office, slamming the door behind them. Pulling Xanxus down the corridor, he didn't let go of him until he deemed it safe, "Boy am I glad we got that done with. Now-" Sawada turned the corner, "-to the Sun divi-!" Sawada had to swerve to not hit the shinigami rounding the corner.
"Ah, Tsuna! Apologies! Almost didn't see you there." Freaking Vongola Quarto smiled lightly at Sawada from behind the humongous pile of paperwork he was carrying.
"It's okay." Sawada waved the apology off, "Why are you carrying all of this anyway."
"Oh, this?" Quarto's smile turned into a secretive one, "I'm just doing my duty, helping out the great Ric-"
"He's helping me." Another soul reaper joined in, "Even though he's actually doing all of the heavy lifting. He refused to let me carry anything." This one was Vongola fucking Secondo.
Sawada gave Quarto a nod and a discreet look, Quarto's smile widened and Xanxus wondered what type of secret the two shared.
"And you," Secondo started, approaching Xanxus, "You look a lot like me."
Sawada perked up, carefully maneuvering himself close to Secondo, "Oh, he's Xanxus," He said eagerly, like he couldn't possibly be happier doing anything else other than telling Secondo all about what he did for the day. Which, disturbing, Xanxus spent barely half an hour in Sawada's presence and still, seeing him turn into a gushy, giggly creature was making Xanxus break out into fucking hives.
"You know, my assignment." Sawada fucking batted his eyelashes, Xanxus was clearly lied to, this was definitely hell.
"Ah, yes, the one trapped in the ice." Xanxus couldn't believe that Secondo wasn't paying any attention to Sawada's flirty gesture, focusing on Xanxus instead with a polite curiosity. Quarto was looking at Tsuna with a pained, sympathetic look on his face.
"Of course I remember. I personally filled out the paperwork for your assignment." Secondo hummed, "But that was sure very fast. I only gave you the assignment not three hours ago. Good job, Tsuna." Secondo sent a faint smile Sawada's way.
Sawada melted.
Xanxus needed brain bleach.
Secondo returned his attention to Xanxus, "Welcome to the Flame Sector, Xanxus, I'm the second seat of the Sky division, everyone here calls me Ricardo, so feel free to do the same."
"Everyone here calls you 'Ricardo-sama', Ricardo-sama," Quarto interjected.
"Like I said." Ricardo's smile grew strained, "Ricardo."
Ricardo took a deep breath, "Anyway, you should go to the Sun division to check up on your flames, Tsuna will accompany you in case they need Sky flames for anything. He's one of our best when it comes to handling the Harmony factor."
Sawada emitted dying animal noises, and launched at Xanxus, wrapping his arms around him and steering him away, "We should go!" He squeaked.
The moment the two were out of the division, Sawada released him and took a couple of steps back, his face was red.
Xanxus quirked an unimpressed eyebrow. Sawada crossed his arms, "Hey, don't judge! At least you didn't see the captain with Cozart around! He has it worse!" Sawada said defensively, "And now can we finally go to the Sun division? I think that's been delayed enough, and we really need to get you there, Soul King knows just how much of a horror story this will turn out to be if Daniela knew-!"
"Knew about what?" A voice interjected from behind them.
Sawada stiffened while Xanxus turned around slowly; the voice was very familiar and there was a possibility that-
He was met with his grandmother's youthful face, "Nonna…" He breathed out.
"Xanxus." She looked just as shocked as he was, one of her hands rose to hover uncertainly in front of Xanxus' face, as if afraid to touch it, "You're not dead, are you?"
Xanxus was tongue-tied, and definitely also indescribably shaken. How was he supposed to explain the situation when he probably couldn't even string a couple of words together through the lump of emotions in his throat?
"Tsuna!" Nonna barked, not moving an inch from her position or redirecting her gaze towards Sawada.
Sawada jolted and didn't need any further prompting, "He's not dead, but he's been trapped in the Sky flames' ice for two months."
"Who? Where?"
"I found him deep in Vongola HQ. The flame signature matches with Timoteo di Vongola."
"How sure are you?"
"Father's specter was there, he was the one to notify us."
"And I wasn't told?"
Sawada suppressed a flinch, "We didn't know that it was Xanxus until today."
Nonna pressed her lips into a thin line, "You went and got him today?"
Sawada nodded, "High priority assignment from the second seat, Sky division."
Nonna's rage seemed to recede a bit, not going away, but simply simmering underneath the surface; she sent an amused smile Sawada's way, and his cheeks colored slightly, "High priority, huh?"
Sawada's slight blush increased, Nonna hummed, "Hurry up and get him to the Sun division, I need to go and find a couple of people and talk to Elena."
The color drained from Sawada's face after Nonna turned on her heels and headed back into the Sky division.
Sawada grabbed Xanxus and dragged him again, this time towards the Sun division. Xanxus didn't protest the treatment as he was still reeling from the encounter with his grandmother and dreading what she could possibly have planned, if Sawada's sense of urgency was anything to go by.
"Oh, this is bad. We need to see Ricardo about this later. But first, Sun division."
Xanxus broke out of his stupor to snark, "Fucking finally."

Horizon, Prompt 02-04
Note: Would you believe me if I told you that the prompts in this part and the next one were taken from sentences from an exercise in one of course books? Because they totally are.
Disclaimer: Don't own KHR.
#2| Water
.
"You don't know how to swim?" Enma blinked up at Tsuna, who was sitting at the edge of the pool with only his legs submerged in the water.
Tsuna cleared his throat in embarrassment, "No, I don't."
Enma hummed thoughtfully, "Wouldn't you want to learn?"
Tsuna hung his head, "I would! But no one who tried to teach me ever explained it well."
Enma deliberated for a few moments before he spoke up hesitantly, "I could teach you."
Tsuna blinked at him; Enma reached out a hand and clasped Tsuna's. When he met no resistance, he gently pulled Tsuna down to the water.
.
#3| Fire
.
Tsuna's fire burned under his skin whether he was in Hyper mode or not, Enma noted as he snuggled closer to the body at his back, wishing he was the big spoon at the moment to wrap himself around Tsuna and soak up the warmth through all of his body.
The arm draped over his shoulder tightened its hold on him and a warm breath puffed against his ear, "Go to sleep, already."
Enma suppressed a chuckle, "Okay, okay,"
.
#4| Game
.
It all started with a simple game and Reborn. Of course, with Reborn being Reborn, it probably shouldn't have been labeled 'simple'.
Tsuna gulped as he stared at the lava pit underneath his feet and the thin stone columns rising to his level. He tightly clutched the stone in his right hand, his left grasped in Enma's.
He was going to throw the stone, and it was Enma's job to make sure it made it to the top of the desired column.
He shared a terrified look with Enma before the two returned their sight to what lay in front of them, full of hope that they wouldn't fail now.
The two continued playing hopscotch, Vongola Style.

Red Crystal - Reload
Summary: Red Crystal AUAU/companion fic/sequel. Tsunayoshi of the Vongola picks a different choice and decides to be perfectly honest with Enma from the start.
Note: much, much shorter than Red Crystal. This is a Red Crystal AUAU, companion fic and sequel all in one. And I'd really appreciate it if you go read Red Crystal before this one. It's not just because of Selfish, Evil Author Needs, but also because there are parts that are merely mentioned/summarized that are explained in more detail in RC, descriptions, mainly. Descriptions that hold hints towards other aspects of the 'verse. So, yeah, it's better to read RC first.
And again, sorrynotsorry.

Red Crystal
.
Tsuna stood in front of the cushioned pedestal proudly displaying a red crystal on top of it.
He observed the crystal as he deliberated.
He had a choice to make and he hated it, hated its heavy weight on his shoulder, hated its implication and what it meant.
His hand went out to gingerly trace the surface of the crystal before he carefully cradled it to his chest.
He had a choice to make, between sending Enma off to Shimon island and letting him wake up there, cutting off all ties except the ones necessary to enable the two of them of closing the doors- and letting Enma out, right now, and telling him everything.
The thrum of life in the crystal sent a spark through Tsuna's Fire, turning him both warm and cold, digging up aching memories of blood, heavy bodies and empty eyes, memories of Enma lying on the ground, bloodied and unmoving.
Tsuna shook his head to forcibly get rid of the image and refocused on the crystal with its warmth, Enma was here, Enma was alive still, and Tsuna was going to be honest with him about the situation, no matter the cost, no matter how much being close to Enma again would hurt later when the two would inevitably separate.
Tsuna walked towards the couch in the room and carefully laid the crystal on it before putting his hand on top of the crystal and pushing both his Soul Fire and Spirit Core into it.
.
Reload
.
The crystal glowed, expanding and stretching across the couch before receding, leaving a young man in its wake.
Tsuna's breath hitched in his throat as he raked his eyes over Enma's form; he had grown taller, skin only a bit on the pale side and figure only slightly thin.
Tsuna's shaky fingers unbuttoned the shirt Enma was wearing and almost cried at the sight of his chest: there were no scars.
Tsuna's breath whooshed out of his chest and a heavy weight toppled from his shoulder. He had worried- despite the many reassurances he heard from the others that it wouldn't be so- that the healing coma wouldn't provide Enma's body with its needs, that Enma's growth would be stunted.
(The fact that the scars were gone too was a bonus)
(It had been five years and Tsuna missed him.)
Tsuna restrained himself from just dropping, boneless from relief, on top of Enma and busied himself with rebuttoning Enma's shirt.
And right on time, too, as Enma stirred into wakefulness not a moment later, his eyes blinked as he opened them and looked around him in confusion before he propped himself to a sitting position.
Tsuna tried to subtly put himself back together, at least for the mean time.
Enma's eyes then landed on Tsuna and stared at him, looking deep into Tsuna's eyes.
There were only the briefest hints of recognition in Enma's eyes, and his entire expression belied his confusion.
Enma's eyes then glazed over and he stopped breathing, his Core fluctuating in distress. Tsuna flared his Soul Fire in response, snapping Enma back to the present.
"Have we met before?" Enma spoke, voice shaky and hoarse and looking like the answer may make or break him.
So, memory problems? That was okay, Tsuna could handle it. Probably.
"Yes." Tsuna answered before he could second guess himself.
"When?" Enma's hands shot out and tightly grabbed Tsuna's, looking urgently into his eyes.
"We met when we were kids," Tsuna spoke in a soothing tone, his expression soft, "My mother was born and raised in your hometown and she took me to visit it often, that's how we met."
"My hometown?" Enma murmured, his Core fluctuating again for few moments before he (unconsciously, Tsuna assumed) forcibly reined it in, his grip tightening for a moment, "It's gone, everyone's gone everyone is dead!" Enma hissed.
Tsuna did not respond, letting Enma continue, "You lived. I… I survived?" Enma's frowned in confusion, as if he couldn't comprehend the fact.
"Yes." Tsuna inhaled, might as well tell Enma before he chickened out and diverted the topic to something else, "It was a very close thing. You were gravely injured and we had to put you in a healing coma. You just woke up."
"How long?"
"Five years."
Enma suddenly leaped to his feet, one hand letting go of Tsuna's to hesitantly hover over Tsuna's chest, "You weren't hurt, were you?"
Tsuna gathered his courage to clasp Enma's free hand in his own, "No, I wasn't." Tsuna pondered whether he should say more on the topic, almost deciding on moving on before he caught the look in Enma's eyes- desperate, begging, craving a confirmation, "You protected me, I came out of the town practically unscathed."
Enma let go of Tsuna and dropped to the couch, shoulders sagging and sighing in what appeared to be relief.
Tsuna reached his hands under his shirt and pulled out the small bag that he kept hanging on a string around his neck, he then gave the bag to Enma.
Enma took the bag absentmindedly, opening it without conscious thought. He put the bag in his lap and rummaged through it; the moment his hand came into contact with the contents of the bag, he snapped into attention and carefully spilled the contents into his lap.
An assortment of crystals in varying shapes, sizes and colors tumbled into view and Enma's breath hitched.
Tsuna averted his eyes, refusing to see Enma's reaction.
"Tsuna." Enma's voice was brittle, Tsuna stubbornly refused to look back at Enma no matter how tempting it was given that he hadn't told Enma his name after he woke up which meant that Enma remembered his name!
"Tsuna, please, look at me." Enma sounded so small and on the verge of tears and Tsuna couldn't keep his eyes averted.
When he looked at Enma, he saw him gingerly cradling the shining, orange, drop-shaped crystals.
Tsuna was suddenly very aware of the bandages wrapped around his left forearm and carefully hidden under the sleeve of his shirt.
"Tsuna… why?" Enma seemed at a loss for words.
Tsuna opened his mouth to answer, but nothing came out, not that he expected it to. He hadn't gathered enough courage to confess about the orange crystals. He sighed and reached for his Priest robes thrown over the back of the couch and draped them over his left arm while trying to act casual, "It's getting late. Come on, you need to go to sleep. We'll talk later."
Enma gathered the crystals back in the bag and clutched it tightly.
"Keep the bag, I had it prepared for you," Tsuna said over his shoulder and walked towards where the Soul Fire-locked secret entrance in the hidden library room was and touched it with his own, causing the floor to vanish partially in one corner of the room and show a staircase going down.
Tsuna gestured for Enma to go down first before following him and returning the entrance to its previous form.
Tsuna led Enma to the sleeping quarters and escorted him to the room that was going to be his for as long as he was staying, and then gestured to the door on the room's left, "That's my room. You can come over if you need anything."
Enma nodded mutely and entered the room, closing the door behind him.
Tsuna sighed, tired; things could have definitely gone better.
(Pros of assigning Enma the room next to his: Tsuna got to keep Enma close in case of emergencies. Cons: the walls weren't thick enough to block out the sounds of Enma's muffled sobbing.)
.
In the Dust
.
Enma holed himself up in his assigned room throughout the next few days, only coming out when Tsuna coaxed him out for necessities like food and water. Not that Tsuna blamed him; Tsuna, unlike Enma, had years to come to terms with the great loss he suffered when Shimon town was attacked and everyone except him and Enma were killed, Enma missed five years of his life and was just waking up in a world that he only half-remembered (if that).
Enma looked horrible whenever Tsuna saw him; pale with blood-shot eyes and bags under his eyes.
He started to look better by the fourth day and even spoke a bit with Tsuna.
Tsuna was immensely grateful.
"Where are we?" Enma asked as he gently rolled one of the orange crystals in his hands.
"Vongola head quarters," Tsuna answered promptly, putting down the book on seals he'd studied forward, backward and sideways many times through the last five years, "They're directly under the Sky Temple, they lead to the offices on the surface, but that building is more of a cover. The main members stay here along with the dock for our ship."
"The Sky Temple? You work as a Priest there, right?" Enma gestured to Tsuna's Priest robe, which Tsuna had left next to him given that he was in Vongola head quarters.
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
Enma hesitated for a moment before asking, "Is it possible for me to join too? Even though my Soul Fire isn't from the Sky Spectrum?"
"Yes, you can. The diversity would actually be a good thing. A balance between the Sky Spectrum and Earth Spectrum is something we need. And since the Shimon are gone, that leaves you the only person capable of providing the other side of the scale. I'll take you to Xanxus to handle the details."
"He's the Head Priest?"
Tsuna hesitated, wondering if he should tell the truth or not, before he berated himself- he'd promised himself to be honest with Enma, "I am. But I won't be around for much longer and he's already stepping up to some of the Head Priest duties to succeed me once I leave."
Enma searched his face before averting his eyes, his gaze landed on Tsuna's book, "Is it because of the doors?"
Tsuna's silence was enough of an answer.
"You need two people to close them, one from the inside and one from the outside." Enma sighed before he stood up and walked over to sit next to Tsuna and grab onto his hands, "You're going to go close it from the outside?"
Tsuna nodded.
"You're going to be locking yourself out."
"I know."
"I'm going to help you then. Seal the doors from the inside. I remember I did it before a couple of times. It's true that I did it for practice and under supervision but I'll do my best to help you out."
Tsuna freed one hand as he smiled bitterly and reached for the book, "I guess we'll be practicing together."
Enma tentatively smiled back, just as bitterly.
.
Duty/Farewell
.
The days spent studying sealing together flew by too fast for Tsuna's tastes.
There was so much he wanted to tell Enma, so many things he wanted to do with Enma, to compensate for the five years of separation, but he couldn't. He couldn't be selfish, not when they had a weak point that could easily be exploited.
The Walls surrounding the Sanctuary were there for a reason, and their doors were left open for five years.
There was no room for delay; Enma still remembered the seals needed to seal the doors from the inside and didn't need much practice in setting them up, all the loose ends he had to tie up were handled and Xanxus had already took up position as both Head Priest of the Sky Temple and the current head of the Vongola, and the medicine Tsuna needed to deal with the flashes he had whenever he stepped foot in Shimon town was prepared (he even had another dose for Enma, just in case).
Xanxus personally manhandled him to the ship and let him drop to the floor next to Enma, who responded by throwing an arm around Tsuna's shoulders and squeezing.
Tsuna exhaled, put his face in his hands and carefully pulled himself together. When he raised his head again, he looked at Enma with a steely expression, "It's time."
Enma stared back at him with a similar expression, and Tsuna felt himself relax and tense up in equal measures.
(Tsuna suddenly wished he could go back in time, to a time before the attack on the Shimon happened, and maybe, maybe, he could have made it so that he wouldn't have to force others into sacrifices they had no choice in.)
Every step he took into the island felt like another step he took to his execution.
(Everything hurt, and Tsuna didn't want to do it anymore, except he had to. If he didn't, there would be more towns like Shimon town, more survivors like him and Enma, and he couldn't let that happen.)
(Even Enma taking the vial of medicine from him and drinking it without question hurt.)
His friends sped up ahead of him and through the doors to Beyond the Walls and waiting for him there, giving him some time alone with Enma.
Enma pulled out the tools he needed and started working on the seals. Tsuna observed him, careful to engrave every stroke and edge into his memory so that he could successfully replicate them on the other side.
After Enma finished with the seals and bandaged his hands, he stood and turned to Tsuna, "Hey, Tsuna, there is something I want to give you, if you don't mind."
Tsuna merely cocked his head to the side in response. Enma walked towards him and cradled Tsuna's face in his hands before bringing their faces close and sealed their lips together in a long, chaste kiss.
After they separated, Enma reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bag, "Here." He pushed the bag into a shocked Tsuna's hands.
Tsuna tore his eyes away from Enma's face and inspected the bag, his fingers taking out a couple of glowing, red, drop-shaped crystals.
Tsuna inhaled sharply and was about to talk when Enma interrupted, "Keep them with you, please. I didn't do it because you did the same, but because I wanted to give you at least something that could be of use to you." With that said, Enma gently turned Tsuna in the direction of the doors and gave him a small push, "Go."
Tsuna walked stiffly to the doors and stepped to the Beyond before he turned around and locked eyes with Enma, refusing to break eye-contact until the doors closed completely.
.
.
.
Tsuna dropped to the ground and numbly bandaged his bleeding hands as orange crystals spread across the doors in an intricate web, sealing it on Tsuna's side.
Just like it was most definitely sealed on Enma's side.
Tsuna curled his hands into fists, pressed them against his closed eyes and screamed.
.
End
Aha.
Ahahaha.

Horizon, Prompt 08-10
Note: 001827 enters the fray :3
Disclaimer: Don't own~
.
#8| Blanket
.
"Enmaaaaaa!" Tsuna whined.
Enma huffed as the blanket burrito containing Tsuna rolled up to his side, "What happened now?"
"Hibari-san did it again!"
"What did he do again?"
"The Little Animal Thing."
Enma turned to Tsuna, wrapped his arms around him and squeezed, "Oh, god."
"I know!"
"Hold me, Tsuna." Enma unraveled the burrito and curled up next to Tsuna, who wrapped him in his arms. The two then proceeded to roll around in the blankets, cuddling with each other and commiserating about the third party (?) in their relationship being irresistible.
.
#9| Umbrella
.
Tsuna despaired as he stared at the rain; he had forgotten to bring an umbrella with him.
He sighed and prepared to dash through the rain (because there was no way Hibari would let him stay in the school after the school day was over).
Someone nudged his shoulder and he blinked out of his musings, turning to see Enma staring at him inquisitively and holding up his own umbrella.
"You didn't bring yours? We could share." Enma's cheeks colored red.
Tsuna blushed, "Really? Thank you!"
.
#10| (Dressed to) Kill
.
"I'm in," Tsuna breathily whispered through the communicator.
"Yes," Enma said, voice hitching slightly as he observed the monitor screens showing Tsuna, "I can see that."
Oh, Enma could see more than that; he could see the way Tsuna's dress hugged his waist and hips, the way Tsuna's heels made his legs look stunning, the way Tsuna's lipstick drew attention to the curve of his lips.
Said lips stretched into a coy smile, "Oh, Double O," He cooed, "My target if you would."
Enma almost choked at Tsuna's teasing tone, "Yeah, you're clear."
Tsuna merely hummed in response and strutted, actually strutted, on his way to his assassination target.
Enma inwardly cursed Reborn to the ends of the earth and back; did he have to throw around a sarcastic comment of being dressed to kill within Tsuna's hearing range?

Horizon, Prompt 01
Summary: A collection of 0027 snippets/drabbles based on one-word prompts.
Important note #1: I picked the prompts out myself, so if you were wondering when I started accepting prompts: I didn't, I just write these lil' drabbles if I see a word and it inspires me, so please don't send me prompts unless I ask for them on my tumblr.
Important note #2: This collection will be kept put as 'in-progress' as it's meant to be kept 'open'. There is no set schedule for this and I write whenever the inspiration strikes. Keep in mind that the snippets aren't meant to be interconnected unless specified, and they are set in vague AUs ranging from almost canon-compliant to outright AU, with various time-frames.
Disclaimer: I don't own KHR.
#1| Train
.
The train jolted to a stop and Tsuna, who was standing in the crowd, stumbled backwards-
-into the lap of the person sitting behind him.
A pair of hands came up to steady him.
Tsuna tried to wiggle out and stand up again but the hands held firm around his waist and brought him to lean back against a broad chest.
A voice whispered close by his ear, "It'll be my stop soon, you can stay."
Tsuna blushed as he sat stiffly in the stranger's lap. Out of all the embarrassing things to happen… at least his stop was next. Small mercies.
When the train entered the stop for Namimori, Tsuna bolted up, almost slamming into one of the passengers, and squeaked, still blushing, "That's my stop!"
Tsuna inwardly cursed the crowded state of the train as it stopped him from escaping the almost lethally embarrassing situation. He vibrated in place, waiting for the crowd to thin enough for him to slip without any more accidents.
He felt the same person stand up behind him. He slowly turned around and craned his head up to stare at the very tall, very broad, handsome guy with red hair and red eyes with compass-like pupils. Handsome Guy smiled shyly down at Tsuna, "What a coincidence. This is my stop, too."
Tsuna squeaked again, "Wow, really?! Where are you going next? Maybe I could accompany you?"
Open mouth; insert foot- it was the Kyoko Situation all over again.
(Reborn was going to kill him.)
"Truly?" Handsome Guy's smile widened, "I'm still new here, so I don't know my way around town that well, thank you!" He bashfully rubbed the back of his neck.
Well, at least Handsome Guy had a very pretty smile.
(Hibari was going to have a field day.)

POV for the No Excuses ask meme!
since you didn’t specify any details for the alternate POV (like the character, fic, scene) I picked it out myself. so, Moonlight Sonata (it was the only fic that gave me an idea for an alternate POV).
so, uh, this stopped being an alternate POV and became an extra scene?
The little animal is at it again.
Kyouya climbsthrough the window, listening to the music which isn’t interrupted by hisappearance.
Kyouya observesthe little animal, small, with fluffy hair and clouded, amber eyes.
Kyouya doesn’tunderstand what makes him play the piano every month on the full moon, whatmakes him play the same music every time, what makes him so. So.
Kyouya doesnthave a word for it.
Kyouya blinksand there is fire in his vision, creeping up the little animal’s arms andsliding down his legs.
Kyouya isfrozen in place, fists clenched, eyes wide, before he rushes in, his hands goto the fire-
But the firedoesn’t burn.
Kyouya freezesagain, marveling at the feel of the fire, its warmth, its light.
Nothing isburning.
The musiccuts off.
The littleanimal is staring at him and not, staring at him and through him.
Kyouya wonders, perplexed, confused, frustrated: just who is this little animal?
The littleanimal returns to the piano and the music plays again. There is a strange smileon his face.
Kyouya stepsback, still staring at the fire until it burns out, until the music stopsagain, until the little animal stands up and leaves.
Kyouya shadowshim to his house before he makes his way home.
(It sparks ofa new habit of his: he never returns until the little animal is safe and soundin his house.)
that’s half as long as Moonlight Sonata… what am I even doing…

POV for a Third Phase scene? For the no excuses ask. :D
*shakes fist* why did you have to go and pick Third Phase? T^T I was lost trying to pick a scene…
and this one went like the other went and ended up expanding more than just the scene itself.
if you thought that I covered one of the key 0027 moments, you would be wrong. meanwhile, have 500 words of Mami POV of the part where she tells her family about deciding to go for the surgery:
Mami stood infront of her house, one hand on the handle while the other clutched the bagholding the cookies she spent the afternoon baking in Tsuna’s kitchen.
She… did notknow if she wanted to go face her family at the moment.
How could shetell them that she finally accepted the option of surgery after so longstubbornly refusing it?
Would they behappy that she finally changed her mind?
Of coursethey will! The rational part of her shouted at her, full with conviction. But itwas a very small part compared to the emotional part. No matter how she put it,she was still a coward who wanted to keep latching on the aspects she’d grownused to, the fire burning deep within her with intensity that hurt her as well, the fire that would be snuffed out, leaving her cold.
She huggedher arms around herself, suddenly second-guessing herself.
The crinklingsound of the bag and the feel of the cookies inside of it brought her back toreality.
She blinked, her hands clenching around the bag; she was such a coward, had been, still wasand would probably always be.
Telling herfamily about wanting to go with the option of surgery was what she should do atthe moment, she owed it to them, all of the time spent supporting her andworrying about her, fearing for her and helping her as much as they could.
She squaredher shoulders; this was what Tsuna was referring to when he talked aboutimportant people, about being selfish in wanting them still close.
She did notwant to hurt them more than she already had.
She openedthe door and entered, her mind going to her friends; Yuni, I-Pin, Fran, Lamboand Fuuta. Just because she would no longer love him in a romanticcapacity after the surgery, didn’t mean that she would stop loving him or anyof the others.
She walked toher family, facing their curious stares. Enma was staring at her withanticipation.
Oh, wouldn’the be over cloud nine once she told him?
She sat downand opened the bag of cookies.
“I wasat Tsuna’s place today, he taught me how to make cookies.” She offered thecookies to her family. Enma slowly chewed on as he stared at her with the fainthope stirring in his chest clear on his face.
She wonderedif he knew how obvious he was being, and she wished she snuck in some ofTsuna’s cookies; they may have been able to successfully distract Enma. Sheshook that thought away, she was done hesitating.
“Wetalked a lot, too, about bravery and cowardice and selfishness.” She wavedher hands around, wishing Enma would stop looking like he was going to breakinto tears any moment now, after which she would break into tears.
(Her badhabit: she always cried whenever Enma did.)
“Kaa-san,tou-san, Enma-nii, I decided that I am going with the surgery after all.”
Enma startedcrying and Mami’s tears spilled over in response.
“Nii-chan!”She tried to wipe his tears, to no avail. He kept crying and so did she.
Enma grabbedher and pulled her close, his arms encircling her and she cried harder.
FEELS. FEELS EVERYWHERE.

Misled
Summary: Ricardo seeks help in looking for his cousin. Fantasy AU. A little, silly one-shot. Slight Enma/Tsuna.
Warnings: Just… heed the title, So self-indulgent (I don't even have words to describe how much).
Disclaimer: Don't own.
.
"You asked to see me?"
Ricardo turned around to look at the owner of the voice, he was a guy who looked so much like Cozart, except younger and with a more subdued expression.
"Yes," Ricardo responded, "Cozart mentioned that you could help me."
"Help you with what?"
"Finding my cousin."
The other guy, Enma, as Cozart told Ricardo, cocked his head towards the side, looking pensive.
"Okay. I can take you to someone who can help."
Ricardo followed after Enma as he walked off in the direction of the forest at the edge of the town Ricardo came to in order to find Enma. Ricardo inwardly sighed, he set off to find Giotto after he went missing, but every time he followed a clue, it led him to a person who always directed him to yet another person.
Ricardo was going to pull out Giotto's hair for this.
.
After an hour-long walk, the two reached a clearing in the forest. There was a field of flowers in the middle of the clearing. And in the middle of the flowers sat a person, clad in a white cloak, there covered head raised up and they appeared to be meditating in the spot of sun conveniently illuminating them. All in all, it reminded him of the Giglio Nero shamans.
Enma walked forwards and addressed the figure, "Tsuna, I brought you someone asking for your services."
The figure's head snapped to the side towards Enma and then sprang to their feet. They chucked off their cloak to reveal a guy (?) with long brown hair that was messy at the top and amber eyes, and wearing a white, short dress wrapped around his figure with tattered edges, and… was that orange mesh under the dress?
"Enma!" 'Tsuna' beamed at Enma, fluttering his eyelashes, "What can I help you with?" His voice turned husky and suggestive.
Enma blushed, eyes wide and staring at Tsuna. Tsuna smirked.
Ricardo wondered if maybe he should return another time.
Enma cleared his throat, "Tsuna, this is Ricardo. He's looking for his cousin."
"Oh?" Tsuna observed Ricardo, "What more can you tell me?"
"I don't have much in the way of details. He just up and disappeared one day four months ago. He's still alive, of that I am sure."
"How can you be sure?"
"Here." Ricardo reached under his shirt to pull out the locket he wore around his neck, "I paid a fortune to get this charmed by the Mist Arcobaleno to keep track of vital signs and other important connected details." Ricardo gave Tsuna the locket. Tsuna opened the locket to see a glowing, smooth, orange stone that pulsed with a brighter light at regular, short intervals.
"That's for his heartbeat. If you roll stone sideways, it will change color and give you another detail, like his heartbeat, his energy and such."
"Handy to check up on your cousin but useless to track him down." Tsuna returned the locket to Ricardo.
"Yes. Unfortunately."
"Lucky for you, I can track him down if I have any energy-channeling equipment of his which he used frequently or for large amounts not long before he disappeared."
"I have just the thing." Ricardo rummaged in his backpack and took out a box that looked well-cared for, "Giotto's favorite combat heels."
Tsuna took the box and opened it, revealing a pair of elegant high heels that appeared made of crystal that spiked towards the heel.
"Ice magic," Tsuna murmured, "This will do."
Tsuna took the box and returned to his previous spot between the flowers.
"Enma," Tsuna called out.
Enma walked towards him while taking out of the bag strapped to his waist a piece of obsidian shaped like a ring with four protrusions, resembling his unique pupils. Enma gave the piece of obsidian to Tsuna, who put it on the ground between the flowers, then put his hand above it.
Tsuna closed his eyes and his hand glowed brightly, the obsidian underneath it glowed as well and started to rotate.
The flowers stooped low and began to twist around to gather in clumps containing the same flowers, and new flowers sprouted, spreading across the clearing, with each type gathering in clumps. After the flowers stopped spreading, Tsuna took out the shoes and put them above the obsidian in place of his hand.
The heels glowed brightly, and a trail of light curled out and above the flower to end on top of a group of open, heart-shaped, black flowers.
Enma observed the flower field, while Ricardo was silently admiring it; this was the first time he saw such a way to scry a person's location.
"Alright, I got it. I know where your cousin is." Enma gestured to Ricardo in the direction they came from, "Let's go."
"Hey, wait!" Tsuna scrambled to put the shoes back in the box and snatch up the obsidian, the flowers returning to their original position.
Tsuna returned the obsidian to Enma and the box to Ricardo, "I'm coming with you!"
"No." Enma frowned, "It's dangerous."
"I can take care of myself!"
"I know that." Enma grabbed Tsuna's hands in his and stared deeply into Tsuna's eyes, "I know. But that place is dangerous for you specifically, and I worry about you."
Tsuna blushed, "Oh, Enma."
Ricardo awkwardly shuffled.
Enma smiled at Tsuna and patted him on the head, "I'll come and see you immediately after we find Giotto."
"Okay."
With that, Enma and Ricardo left the clearing, leaving a blushing Tsuna staring dreamily after them.
When they reached the town, Ricardo took the chance to ask, "Where is Giotto?"
"He's in the Curious And Crafty Extras caves." Enma shuddered.
"That's the first time I heard of them."
"You probably know them by their acronym."
"CACE? Cace? I've never heard of them."
"Less like cace, more like cake."
"Cake-?!" Ricardo halted in his tracks. Why that little-!
Ricardo was so done with his idiot, cake-obsessed bastard of a cousin. Forget about pulling out Giotto's hair, Ricardo was going to switch out Giotto's entire wardrobe with Deamon's; see how he Giotto would like it, then.

Valentine’s Day Chocolate
*crawls from the hole she was knocked into by 0027* Where this idea popped up from, I don't know. It's not even anywhere close to Valentine's Day, but I thought 'whatever' and wrote it anyway. Uhhh, enjoy?
Summary: Tsuna wants to make Valentine's Day chocolate for the person he likes. "Eat me, Tsuna-kun." Enma, STOP.
Alt. title: "Little Animals On A Mission."
Warnings: 0027 Cuteness And Feels You Can Choke On, Enma's Pervert Mind, Written By A Feels-Filled Fangirl.
Disclaimer: Don't own.
.
"Hey, Enma-kun?"
Enma raised his head from where he was putting his things into his bag to see Tsuna standing in front of him, fiddling with the cuff of his sleeve, "Yes, Tsuna-kun?"
"I was wondering if you can come with me back to my place." Tsuna smiled shyly, pink dusting his cheeks.
Go back to Tsuna's place with him? Enma stared intently at the slightly blushing Tsuna.
(At the sight, Enma's brain dive-bombed into the gutter.)
"Okay." Enma blinked up at Tsuna.
Tsuna beamed at him, "Alright, let's go!"
.
As the two reached Tsuna's house and entered, Enma noticed that the place was quiet.
"I managed to convince mama, Reborn, Bianchi and the kids to give us some privacy today, so they left to spend time at the park."
Blood crept up Enma's neck and to his cheeks; he and Tsuna were… alone?!
Breathe, Enma! Breathe! Just because you got Tsuna all to yourself doesn't mean you can jump him and do all the things you want to do to him; like kissing him and-
"Enma-kun? Are you okay? You've been staring at me for a while now." Tsuna inched closer to Enma, putting his face very close to Enma's.
Kiss him! Now is your chance!
Enma put his hand on Tsuna's shoulder. Tsuna smiled at him and took Enma's hands in his own.
(Enma needed a few seconds to remind himself how to breathe. Again.)
"You know Valentine's Day is coming up." Tsuna mused. Enma was thankful that they were still standing in place, otherwise, he'd have tripped and fell to the floor in a graceless heap from the surprise. "I asked you to come home with me to help me learn to make Valentine's Day chocolate!"
What?
Tsuna blushed, "I know it's surprising; I've never made Valentine's Day chocolate for anyone before. But this time, I have someone to confess to. And since Valentine's Day is coming up, I thought about making chocolate for him. And Hibari-san was nice and helpful and… well…" Tsuna averted his eyes, blushing.
Enma stared, transfixed, at the fetching red shade coloring Tsuna's face.
And oh god, the other things Enma could do to Tsuna to make him blush just as much, if not more.
"To start off, I thought… well… do you like chocolate, Enma-kun?"
Hmmm, "Yes, chocolate." Fondue, and Tsuna, would make a very delicious combination, "Strawberries."
"Oh? Anything else."
Enma kept staring at Tsuna, his gaze dropping to Tsuna's lips, "Something to nibble on."
"Cookies?"
Cookies?
Enma blinked, waking up from his fantasies.
"Shall we start then?"
"O-okay."
.
Enma stared at the ceiling of his room, dazed and nibbling on a cookie made by Tsuna.
He was blessed today; helping Tsuna practice his skills in the kitchen so that he could make decent chocolate for the person he wanted to confess to on Valentine's Day.
Enma choked.
Who was the person Tsuna wanted to confess to?! Was it Enma?
He curled up, a cloud of gloom hanging over his head; it was highly unlikely that Tsuna would confess to Enma of all people.
It was definitely Hibari.
Enma sighed, it wasn't like he owned Tsuna and could tell him who to like and who to not like. So, if Tsuna liked Hibari and wanted to confess to him, then all Enma could do was support Tsuna and wish him happiness.
Yes, Enma could be a graceful loser.
.
Enma went down on his knees and bowed his head, "Bianchi-san! Please! Teach me Poison Cooking!"
Bianchi sighed, "Oh, scorned young love."
A graceful loser, Enma was not; and for Tsuna, he'd fight tooth and nail.
.
Julie stood frozen in front of the kitchen's closed door as he heard the sinister chuckles coming from inside.
He retreated with slow, silent steps, not wanting to attract the attention of whoever using the kitchen at the moment.
So much for wanting to make Valentine's Day chocolate for Adel.
.
And so, Valentine's Day at last…
"Hey, Enma-kun," Tsuna called out as he stood in front of Enma, holding a bag that clearly held chocolate; his eyes were sparkling and he was smiling shyly. He was so cute and Enma wanted to devour him.
"You're going to confess, Tsuna-kun?"
Tsuna nodded enthusiastically as he swayed in his place from excitement.
"Okay. But first." Tsuna looked confused when Enma rummaged in his school bag to get the bag that had the chocolate he made, "I have someone to give chocolate to."
"O-oh." Tsuna looked crestfallen, "Who?"
"Hibari." Enma's voice was bland.
Tsuna's face blanked, "Okay."
Enma grabbed Tsuna's hand and tugged him forward, heading towards the reception room where Hibari was bound to be at the moment.
Enma stormed into the room, still holding Tsuna's hand; his eyes brightened when he saw Hibari sitting at his desk.
"Hibari-san." Enma walked forward, "I made something just. For. You." Enma pulled out purple-wrapped chocolate from the bag and put it in front of Hibari. "I put all of my feelings into it. Please, enjoy."
Hibari sent a sinisterly smiling Enma an incredulous look, while Tsuna sent Hibari a dark look that promised untold horrors if he didn't do just as Enma told him.
Hibari unwrapped the chocolate and had to lean back to avoid the purple fumes that rose after he opened it.
"Do you like it?" Enma's smile widened, "I personally asked Bianchi-san to teach me how to make it." Enma then turned to Tsuna, "Well, Tsuna-kun, it's your turn now."
Tsuna sent a strange, intense look Enma's way, causing Enma to slightly shudder under the scrutiny.
Tsuna surprised Enma by tugging him outside the room. Enma was confused, wasn't Tsuna going to confess to Hibari?
"Where are we going?"
"To the roof. It will be empty, and I will get to have the privacy I want."
Enma was silent throughout the walk to the roof, wondering if there was someone else, if Tsuna intended to confess to someone else, not Hibari. Enma hadn't… thought this far, he brought only one portion of the poisoned chocolate he made, and that one went to Hibari. The other chocolate he had on hand was for Tsuna.
"Here," Tsuna said, interrupting Enma's thoughts.
Enma blinked, a look around him told him that they reached the roof while he was deep in thought.
"Okay. Now, Enma-kun. Let me start from the top. Here." Tsuna pushed the chocolate in his hands to Enma.
"Wha…?" Enma blinked, uncomprehending what exactly was going on.
"The chocolate is for you. You're the one I wanted to confess to." Tsuna cleared his throat, looking embarrassed, "Hibari-san suggested that I seize the chance with Valentine's Day coming up. So I invited you over to my place, to know what you'd prefer. You said chocolate and strawberries so…" Tsuna waved to the chocolate bag he just gave to Enma.
Enma stared at the bag he received from Tsuna, and then raised the one holding the chocolate he made and gave it to Tsuna, "This is for you. It's not poisoned if that's what you're wondering."
Tsuna stared contemplatively at the bag for a few moments before he raised his eyes towards Enma's, and then he walked forward towards Enma, backing him towards the wall of the stairwell. Tsuna leaned in to whisper in Enma's ear, voice low and sending pleasant shivers down Enma's spine, "I have chocolate fondue and strawberries at home if you're interested."
Enma's face glowed red as he dropped his head on Tsuna's shoulder.
He knew!
.
End.
AUAU: Route 001827, Enma accidentally switches the wrappings of the poisoned chocolate and the non-poisoned chocolate.

Radar
Summary: In which Victor is a Rich Guy with a tendency to go traipsing around the world at the drop of a hat and his parents hire a group of trained agents to keep track of him.
Alt. title: 'The Adventures of the Victor Nikiforov Tracking Team/Stalking Squad'
Warnings: Not to be taken seriously, Shameless Self-Indulgence, I don't even know what to call this type of fic, Language, Really Ridiculous, Shenanigans.
Disclaimer: Don't own YOI.
.
Yuri Plisetsky is eighteen, and this is his first day as a member of the Victor Nikiforov Tracking Team (affectionately known as the Victor Nikiforov Stalking Squad).
.
Yuri sits down, waiting for his shift to start in a few minutes.
The door bangs open. A red head walks in, looking quite cheerful.
(Of course she is, she has just finished her shift and will finally have her break.)
"Guess who gets to chase after Victor all the way to India?" Mila, the red head, beams at Yuri.
"India?" Yuri asks, incredulous.
"He wanted to try authentic Indian food." Mila shrugs.
.
When Yuri sneaks into the hotel Victor is staying in during his stay in India, he finds Victor's room empty.
Yuri curses.
.
Yuri tracks Victor all the way to Italy.
Yuri finds Victor flirting with the new waiter at a café in Palermo.
Yuri loses Victor on their way back to Russia in Rome.
.
How the ever loving fuck does a guy as distinct as Victor disappear in a crowd, escaping from a trained agent like Yuri, is what Yuri wants to know.
.
Three days later, Yuri gets a new lead on Victor, in the form of a photo posted online on his social media account of him chilling in Hawaii and trying to permanently turn the face of the bartender serving him a drink red from blushing too much.
.
Yuri misses Victor by only half an hour, according to the blushing and stuttering bartender.
.
Yuri dreads the remaining four weeks of his shift.
.
Over the span of only three weeks, Yuri chases Victor across seventeen different countries.
Victor appears to be enjoying himself more than he should as he tries new food and romances various people.
.
Think of the paycheck, Yuri has to remind himself multiple times a day.
.
#1
Victor is in a strip club in Detroit, getting a lap dance.
Yuri chases him with a barstool. The stripper giving Victor the lap dance screeches in indignation as he jumps off Victor's lap. Victor laughs as he ducks Yuri's attempts to splatter his brain all over the floor.
("Not that he has much of a brain in the first place," Yuri mutters, disgruntled, as he takes a vicious bite of his sandwich.)
.
#2
Victor is in a flower shop in Vancouver, buying a bouquet of flowers all while trying to make the florist as flustered as possible by lingering skin contact and prolonged staring into the florist's eyes.
Yuri stomps into the shop. The florist squeaks and hides behind the counter. Victor smiles at Yuri and prances out of the backdoor before Yuri can dropkick him.
.
#6
Victor is at a hair salon in Valencia, flirting with the hairdresser doing his hair.
This time, Yuri enters through the backdoor.
By the time he soundlessly sneaks into the main room of the salon where Victor is, Victor is gone. The hairdresser is left with a dazed expression, looking thoroughly kissed, and touching her lips with a small giddy smile.
.
"You know, you can always call the No. 1 Victor Stalker of the Squad. He always knows where Victor is. Always."
"Shut up, Mila."
.
#10
Victor is participating in a dog show with Makkachin in Marseille.
This time, Yuri settles to watch the dogs.
(He believes that the adorably grouchy poodle who comes in second place- and whose owner just got flirtatiously winked at by Victor- is fucking cute.)
Victor takes the owner of the second poodle out on a walk with their poodles, where he proceeds to shower her in compliments.
Yuri chases after them, but he loses Victor after two hours.
.
#13
Switzerland.
What happens in Switzerland stays in Switzerland.
.
"Are you sure that you don't need to contact our best agent for help?"
"I'm sure."
"Well… what about their partner and second best agent?"
.
#15
Victor is in Bangkok.
Why is Victor even in Thailand?
Answer: to watch the ice show, Phichit On Ice.
What luck, that Victor's traipsing around the world and flirting with at least one person in every country leads Yuri directly to the Squad's so-called second best agent, Phichit Chulanont.
Victor is distracted by watching the Japanese skater. Victor appears to be intensely focused. This is the point in which Phichit seeks out Yuri and tells him that under no certain terms is Yuri to ruin the day for Yuuri, Phichit's friend and the Japanese skater currently performing and holding the entirety of Victor's attention, or else Yuri shall suffer the consequences.
(Yuri doesn't listen at first, which leads him to discover the fact that Phichit is the King of anything SNS. He doesn't speak about it.)
By the end of the day, Victor is gone, leaving in his wake a heavily blushing Japanese skater.
.
"One of the reasons our best agent is our best agent is because not only do they always keep track of him successfully, but also because they are always there. Wherever Victor is, chances are that our agent is in the vicinity."
"Huh."
"So, don't hesitate to ask them for help."
"… I'll think about it…"
.
#17
Victor is in Sapporo, out on a date with a cute girl in a café.
Yuri watches Victor from a distance as he casually strolls down the street the café is on, fiddling with his phone and with his earphones in, looking like a guy out for a stroll.
Victor's table is one of the outdoors tables, which makes it easier to keep an eye on him.
Yuri watches as Victor leans forward to whisper in the ear of his date, who blushes and giggles at whatever Victor says.
Yuri wants to gag and shout, 'Get a room!' But he doesn't want to blow his cover.
Not after his decision to ask for help after everything (and Victor's parents are planning a family outing and want their son present ASAP).
After Victor and his date decide to continue their outing somewhere else, Yuri makes his move.
As Yuri heads towards Victor, Victor turns towards Yuri and smiles, "Looks like you caught up to me. You were never able to keep up with me, what makes you think that you can do this now?"
Yuri smirks and sends the signal he and the Squad's best agent have agreed on earlier.
His smirk turns into a look of shock as Victor's date blurs into motion and knocks Victor out.
"Sorry Victor, but your parents were adamant." The girl looks apologetic. She turns to Yuri and grimaces, "They said that they'll make a statue in my image! In pure gold!" She looks truly distressed.
She pulls Victor close to her body, and dials a number on her phone. A minute later, a car speeds up to them. The driver's door opens and the driver steps out.
"Hey! Great job as always, Yuuri!" Phichit says cheerfully as he helps Yuuri put the unconscious Victor in the car.
After they are done, they drive off.
And this is how Yuri Plisetsky, newest member of the Victor Nikiforov Tracking Team/Stalking Squad, meets Yuuri Katsuki, the No. 1 agent in the same Squad.
.
Days later, Yuri will sit up and shock as he remembers the details of his shift and realizes A Very Important Detail, "Oh fuck!"
.
"He was the waiter at the café in Palermo!"
.
"The bartender? What?"
.
Choke.
"THE STRIPPER! FUCKING-"
.
"-the florist?- "
.
"-the hairdresser?- "
.
"-the owner of the adorable dog!"
.
Yuri is impressed.
But this brings up a very important question:
"How does the shithead keep gravitating towards Katsuki every time?"
.
Somewhere out there, Victor laughs, and wonders when his Squad will realize that he has a Yuuri-radar as good as Yuuri's Victor-radar. For now, he'll kick back in his fancy hotel room, admire Yuuri's figure in a butler outfit, and plan out his next escapade with Yuuri.
.
End (part 1?)

Yuuri Katsuki-Induced Feels
Summary: YOI Retirement AU by @skygemspeaks . An emotional discovery of Yuuri Katsuki- the skater.
(+ Extra: Yuuri's friends only need to put two and two together)
Warnings: OCs, OC-centric, Feels Attack, Fangirling OCs, Crying, Tears, Actually Not Sad.
Disclaimer: Don't own YOI.
.
When Rick entered his dorm room, he stopped.
There, on the bed opposite Rick's, sat his roommate Will, head bowed, shoulders shaking, phone clutched close to his chest with trembling hands, and slightly sniffling. His leg would occasionally bounce and his foot would tap the floor. There was a pillow discarded next to him.
Rick took in these details and determined that Will was simply riding out the aftermath of what he called a 'Feels Attack'. Better leave him to his privacy.
Decision made, Rick moved to leave, but Will chose that moment to raise his head and catch sight of Rick.
Rick froze as he locked eyes with Will. Oh wow, Rick thought, dazed, had Will been crying? That must have been one hell of a Feels Attack.
Rick sighed; his earlier plan of leaving discarded, and moved to sit with Will.
"What happened? Were you reading angsty fanfics again?"
Rick put an arm around Will as Will's lower lip wobbled and tears started to gather in his eyes, Will's voice was shaky as he spoke, "No, it's Yuuri."
"What happened with Yuuri?" the fond, exasperated 'this time' went unsaid but clearly heard.
Ah, Yuuri Katsuki.
Yuuri Katsuki was an innocent, fluffy ball of cuddly adorableness and sheer cuteness.
He shared a couple of classes with Rick and Will.
He was older than them by a few years and taking classes to continue his education; apparently, he hadn't continued after taking his first degree at twenty three due to complications in his job (he was retired now, he had said).
99.9% of Rick and Will's classmates crushed on Yuuri. So did Rick and Will.
Except that Will was a… special case.
"I… I just realized how beautiful Yuuri is. So beautiful. So graceful. So enchanting. So emotive. So expressive. So breathtaking. So… so taken!" Will burst into tears.
Rick rubbed Will's back in soothing circles.
It took fifteen minutes for Will's crying and sobbing to quiet down and turn into sniffles.
(It was a statement to how normal this occurrence, Will getting emotional and crying, was that the occupants of the neighboring dorm rooms didn't suddenly barge into their room in a frantic worry. Rick knew that if he opened social media, he'd find Will tagged in legions of posts containing cute animal pictures.)
"So," Will began, raising his phone in Rick's direction, "I kind of obsessed a bit and googled Yuuri. I triple checked the results to make sure it's actually Yuuri and I'm not getting results mixed with another Yuuri Katsuki. Look at what I found on youtube alone."
Will unlocked his phone's screen and showed Rick a video on youtube. Rick took the phone from Will, who pressed himself into Rick's side, grabbed his arm and put his chin on Rick's shoulder, his eyes glued to the phone's screen. Whatever it was, it must be something, Rick thought as he pressed 'play'. The sound of guitar strings came out of the phone's speaker as the video started.
The only sounds in the room for the next few were the ones coming from the video; Rick and Will were completely still, they weren't even breathing.
"Oh, wow," Rick breathed out, putting a hand to his furiously beating heart, "That was, wow...."
Will was nodding furiously into his shoulder and tightly clutching his arm.
"I'd kiss his skate, too," Rick confessed.
"I'd let him skate all over me and then thank him for it," Will whispered fervently.
As the next video in the playlist loaded, Will let out a low whine.
"This one, oh god this one"
Rick noted with dread and anticipation that this video had '+THE KISS!!!!' in its title.
By the end of the video, Rick completely understood.
.
Extra
.
After the group of teenagers who just interrupted their outing to ask Yuuri for autographs and photos left, Maria and Sara were understandably confused. Especially with Rick and Will practically vibrating in their seats in excitement with crazy gleams in their eyes, clutching their phones to their chests.
"What… just happened?" Maria asked.
"I," Yuuri started, a blush dusting his cheeks, "am a retired competitive figure skater?"
Will let out a muffled squeal. Rick stood, "Not just any retired competitive figure skater!"
Sara and Maria watched, wide eyed, as Rick launched into what sounded like a list of Yuuri's achievements during his figure skating career. Yuuri's face was turning redder by the second.
Maria's and Sara's eyes grew wider with every mention of world record, gold, silver, bronze, Grand Prix, Japanese Nationals, Four Continents Championship, and Worlds.
"-and he got silver in PyeongChang!"
Maria's and Sara's jaws dropped at the last detail.
Will raised his phone, "Shall I show you the Eros routine?"
Rick grinned, "Or Yuri On Ice?"
"Or, or the Stammi Vicino Non Te Ne Andare pair skate?"
"Or The Kiss™?"
Yuuri let out a muffled squeak and hid his flaming red face in his hands.
"Wait," Maria started slowly, "The Kiss™?"
She took out her phone and fiddled with it for few seconds, then she turned the screen in the other's direction, on it was a picture of the Infamous Victuuri Kiss™ (it was even captioned as such).
"This is Yuuri?" Maria asked, shocked.
"YES!" Rick and Will answered her enthusiastically.
"Waaaaaaiiiit." Sara squinted at the screen, then her eyes widened and she whipped her head to look at Yuuri, "hey, I read a fanfic about you, once!"
Yuuri raised his head to look at her in disbelief. She blushed.
"Oops?"

But the Cookies!
Summary: An unexpected visitor arrives at Vongola HQ. Just another day for the Vongola.
Warnings: Language, Tsuna and Enma being cute AF together, The Cookies.
Disclaimer: Don't own.
.
Tsuna and Enma were curled up on one of the couches in Tsuna's office; it was their break and they were planning on spending it by just relaxing.
The quiet atmosphere was broken by a black and green light that silently struck through the air like lightning and then disappeared leaving behind a person gracelessly sprawled on the floor.
The person picked themself up as Tsuna and Enma watched curiously, not sensing a threat from the unexpected visitor.
The newcomer turned out to be a guy around their age (early twenties) with messy black hair and a pair of brilliant green eyes behind wire-rimmed, round glasses.
He blinked at them, "Terribly sorry. Inter-dimensional misplacement. Job hazards. You know how it is."
Tsuna smiled, "I feel you. I once woke up in a different dimension, very much female and very much engaged to Xanxus." He made a face, "No offence to Xanxus or anything but I'm 100% committed to Enma."
"Oh." Enma blushed as he looked at Tsuna.
"Mmm." Tsuna turned to look at Enma and smiled softly at him.
As the two stared at each other, showing no sign that they were going to be doing anything else for a while, the newcomer cleared his throat, "I'll just… go. Find the kitchen. Maybe make some cookies."
The two paid him no heed as he awkwardly averted his eyes and left the room.
.
Hours later,
Tsuna and Enma walked down one of the corridors arm in arm and holding a plate of Harry's, the newcomer's, cookies, and each of them nibbling on one.
"Ah, Harry." The two came to a stop in front of Harry who looked at them inquisitively.
"I hope you liked the cookies."
"They're delicious, thank you." Enma smiled, blushing, as he looked at Harry from underneath his eyelashes.
As Harry was about to reply, there was a light just like the one that brought Harry. The light deposited another person. This time, the newcomer looked exactly like Tsuna.
"Hey, Tsu!" Harry smiled, "What are you doing here?"
Tsu launched himself at Harry, "Harry! There you are! I thought something bad and/or strange happened to you. One can never know with your luck, and I am the one saying that."
"Chill, nothing happened."
"Are you sure? You didn't accidentally start a rebellion or a myth or a religion?"
Tsuna cleared his throat, "Last I saw them, the Varia were building a shrine to your cookies."
Harry raised an eyebrow, "Crazy."
Tsuna nodded solemnly, "I know, right?"
Enma sighed, "Tsuna, you're the head priestess."
Tsuna waved his cookie-holding hand, "Details."
.
.
.
Extra
.
"Head priest Xanxus, we have failed to acquire the Miraculous Recipe and convince the Great Creator to extend His stay."
"Head priestess Trash, you fucker, you're supposed to be our top negotiator."
"The Great Creator's Watchdog did not like the way shrine keeper Enma was eying the great Creator."
