1: What was the first episode you’ve seen? Episode 1 because I intentionally looked for the show to watch it after seeing clips of it online.

2: What’s your favorite episode? Episode 1. It's one of my favorite first episodes of a show ever and I really like how well it introduces everything. I love other episodes of the show of course I just think the first episode did a great job and should get more praise for that!

3: Favorite Irken? I like the main character a lot but if I had to choose a second favorite uhhh the Tallests as 1 entity I can't choose one over the other

4: Favorite Human? I like the other main character a lot also but as a second Professor Membrane bc he's funny and I had a mental image of him before watching the show

I recently made a long comment on the Irken propoganda poster fanart (and made my own fanart based off of it), I like the Corrupted Data 99% one (and made my own fanart based off of it), I like this sketch dump of Tallest Zims bc it's cool and bc of the comment "all I do is lie to myself" which I quote all the time now, this FnF song video that I keep trying to do a full version of because the OP said I could but haven't gotten around to it yet, and a bunch more I don't feel like tracking down lol.

11: Would you be scared if Jhonen found your art/fanfics/blog? I've watched his Twitch streams (he might still be doing that every Monday?) and sometimes when he searches stuff up he ends up scrolling past fanart and doesn't acknowledge it lol. So not really, he's not as mean a guy as the fandom seems to demonize him wrongly as. I actually think meeting him would be pretty cool!

12: Do you like pairings? If so, which? I mean aside from ZaDr I like RaPr and basically am open to any if ppl write it in a way I like. Those two I just enjoy in particular.

13: Do you believe there are any canon pairings? Like, intended by the writers? I don't remember any prominent characters dating canonically no lol.

14: OTP? ZaDr. I watched episode 1 and shipped it immedietely after their first interaction XD If that's not a "One True Pairing" I'm not sure what is.

15: Favorite enemies? (Tak and Zim or Zim and Dib… etc) Does enemies to lovers count? Idk I am more of a HELPLESS ROMANTIC type I am only into enemies if it's charged in some way XD Otherwise it sticks out to me less so nothing really comes to mind that easily.

16: Favorite Tallest of the four? I can't choose Red or Purple it changes every day! I like Miyuki and Spork but come on they don't have that much screentime and Red and Purple have far more changes to be funny lol

I've thought of several fake episode scripts, like where Dib gets suspended for pushing Zim at school and goes to a better nicer school, then ends up back at normal school at the end of the episode because the world is built to hurt Dib, or an episode where Zim gets stuck in his elevator and can't get out bc his PAK legs are too long and his rockets are useless and GIR is useless.

If I could write an episode though it'd probably end up being gay shit tho ngl

32: If all the voice actors and artists were different, would you still want Invader Zim to come back? Well if the writers are the same... hmm, though a lot of what was good about IZ was the synnergy between all the writers, artists, and VAs, like Rikki who voiced GIR also being a background artist, and somehow a bunch of these ppl are still friends 20 years later.

I think it'd be fun to see it even if they totally and completely fuck it up though because then the fandom would tear it apart and it'd be funny

33: Do you consider any of the characters your ‘babies’? Depends on the day but I do love random navigator drone from Florpus. Baby bc Evv is totally based off of them XD Adopted!

Not panicking on a work trip where I had to god forbid, travel alone. Not panicking in the middle of the bread aisle. Not panicking every time I leave the house. Not dissociating for 3 months. Not just living off of goldfish crackers and popcorn for 3 months. Among a million other things.

Where did most of your money go?: Besides the boring american adult stuff like property tax and health insurance premiums -- My immune system seems to behave like a 90-year-old, so my doctor ordered a bunch of lab tests to rule things out. Since everything came back negative, my insurance company disagreed that the tests were medically necessary. I am severely phobic of needles--I don't just take blood tests for funsies, you chumps.

What did you want and get?: Three things in no particular order - #1 I've been tearing my house apart periodically for YEARS searching for a copy of an old family home movie of peak sentimental value that everyone has thought was lost for good, causing some pretty serious grief in the Viola family. I remembered my dad had digitized it before the video was lost, but I seemed to be the only one with this memory and I was starting to wonder if I made it up and was merely clinging to false hope. Well, my sister's husband/my brother-on-law has achieved sainthood. He recently stumbled on, buried in the wrong case in their basement, the digital copy my dad had made years ago. So I am NOT crazy - not this time - and the Viola family can feel whole once again! #2 - New Zelda game #3 - Grimey came home

29. What did you want and not get?: a frickin break

30. What was your favorite film of this year?: I haven't seen anything this year that really managed to captivate me but I'm going to vote for Asteroid City.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?: I turned 39. It feels like an era ago and I can't remember a thing about it. Grimey says we went to the Brimfield Antiques Faire.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?: If our fence hadn't collapsed in March. I feel I need to explain because I'm NOT upset about the fence collapsing in a storm--it was due to collapse and before it even collapsed, "fix sketchy looking fence when the ground thaws" was high on our house project list for the year. But it is the timing of the collapse and the domino effect it caused that set off neverending chaos that I am STILL battling.

Cleaning up the damage took my time and attention away from Nermal, and completely destroyed a critical period of acclimating him to the other cats and the rest of the house. Now I'm left with a choice of either imprisoning Nermal in the office, where he quickly goes feral and creates a toxic work environment where I get hissed at if I need to move and feel like I'm encroaching on his privacy every time I enter the room. He also gets depressed and grieves because of course he has to be besties with Huffy, and with Huffy also besties with Tews, I can't like, imprison Huffy too so Nermal is kept happy because then I'd have Tews who's grieving and Huffy who is annoying and scratching at the door all day. OR I can constantly supervise two cats who literally try to murder each other and get blood all over the floor if I dare turn my back on them for two seconds because god forbid I might want to pee or get something to eat or check to see what the chickens are alarming at. I've had better luck introducing cats by NOT introducing them than I have had with these two--y'know the anti-Jackson Galaxy, "just let them have at it" reckless baby boomer method. They'd have been better off if I just did that than if I had tried. THIS is Kitty Hell.

The collapsed fence cooped the chickens up while their spring hormones were out of wack and set off a Great Hen War. I had to watch Redd get her comb torn off under my watch and Mini-Redd get most of her beak torn off. I'm not going to lie -- I'm traumatized by it.

The garden had a rough start because the fence collapsing caused the hawk net over the chicken yard to collapsed and crush everything underneath. I had to rebuild everything at the beginning of spring and lost March and April. Many of my seedlings died from neglect because I didn't have time to care for them, and a lot of things I planned to plant I never actually got around to planting. Meanwhile, Grimey got signed to a year-long contract in Japan and with both of our heads in completely different places, I don't feel like either of us were really emotionally available to each other for most of the year. With so much nonstop chaos to deal with through the whole year, I also didn't have room in my head to emotionally prepare for being on my own.

I wasn't just dealing with the fence dominoes -- it's truly been one thing after another this year starting from the very beginning, but without the fence dominoes, I could have better coped with the other shit and ended the year feeling like it was a more average year of shit rather than like....a year completely engulfed in flames.

🎃Inktober of 2021 - Day 31: Party Time!!

Alright folks! This will be my last Inktober art share during this year's Halloween for a lifetime. While it's too bad if my family didn't have a time to celebrate to get some candy, but at least complete my Inktober art shares I've gotten so far from Day 4 to Day 31 was close enough to accomplished for. Thank goodness it was over when I'm hoping to get my other plans for next month and best I could go back to DeviantArt after a HUGE absent from my page account for so long. What that being said, let's get into my final Inktober that I actually got in progress in hours today. Let me tell ya that it wasn't easy when I'm trying to fit 4 or 5 characters in space. This one was a bit of challenge to make through hours to get it done before nighttime comes. Anyways, What better way to celebrate than throwing their biggest Halloween party bash for the rabbits family? Well, having the kids dressing as one of their closest friends from Philippines of course! So yeah. Thought this would make sense if they would be gladly to dress as them when still owning their friend's clothing not too long ago. So why not using them as their Halloween costumes this year? However, it'll have new masks of Spot, Riya, and Cude to put on their faces; after Maxwell managed to craft three without breaking a sweat from days ago. He's really good with crafting in art classes, by the way. Hope their friends will gonna like this to celebrate this year's Halloween with the rabbit kids and their parents for fun. day 30 - wake up to watch the sun rise

this one particular task on the list has been holding me back the whole time i've been doing this challenge. i hate getting up early. and every time i've scheduled this on my calendar, i have unabashedly pretended i didn't and chose to sleep in instead. this has been bugging me so much that my boyfriend suggested i abandon the challenge half-finished, since i came up with some of my own things so i've technically already done the full 30 day challenge. but no, i wanted to do the full 30 posts. and check off everything on the graphic as well. i am nothing if not a completionist.

i promise i'm getting to the point in here somewhere. this morning, miracle of miracles, i woke up at the crisp hour of 5:30am. i'd had such a vivid dream of using the bathroom that i actually woke myself up for fear of wetting the bed. on my way back from using the toilet, i decided to check the sky. it was entirely gray. the sun was rising, somewhere in there, but you sure couldn't tell. i'm positive this is what would have awaited me if i had gotten up early with the intention of watching the sun rise on one of these other days, and i'm glad my bladder kept me from that disappointment.

and with that rather anticlimactic conclusion, we come to the end of the "30 Days of Loving Life" challenge. i have enjoyed it, and it was about as difficult as i expected it to be. i found out that i don't like spending money on frivolous things, but snacks don't count. i also found out that i'm not great at being spontaneous and i like to have plans (okay, i already knew that, but it was very much reinforced over the past two months).

my 30 day challenge took me 60 days to complete, which i think is okay. it's hard to do something special for yourself every single day without fail. but i'm pleased that i was able to incorporate some bonus things that weren't on the original list and start looking at my life a little differently. a little rosier.

"Elias

2. Do you know why are you named that?

"My grandfather was called Elias, so my dad named him after him. I only knew him for a little while before he died and I was still young at the time, so I barely remember him. I do know that some people thought highly of him though."

3. Are you single or taken?

"Single, and and I don't have any plans to be anythin' else."

4. Have any abilities or powers?

"Well I'm a sharp shooter, pistols and revolvers are my thing, so I've got pretty good aim. I did give the minutemen weapons a try though, so I do have a lazer weapon for when I can't outshoot someone with my revolver from two blocks away."

"Heh, trust me, anything but that."

6. What’s your eye color?

"Hazel, or quite light brown really, been told ot looks pretty or somethin' like that. Think I got them from my mom's side."

"Just a shade of dark brown, sometimes you notice it, sometimes you don't."

"If you really need to know, I had a father and a mother back in New York, dad died when I was still a kid though."

"Never really had any pets to be honest, not because I dislike then, just never had a reason, or the opportunity to get one."

"Being fooled I guess? I don't know, maybe seeing somethin' happen that that I'm not able to do anythin' about."

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

"Well... I do like going out and practicin' my aim, but really nowadays I'm too busy to do much outside of my work. There's still a lot to do around here."

"Yes... yes I have. Many times before."

"Who hasn't killed anyone nowadays, really."

"Animal? Uh... don't know? Never really asked myself that before, or had an reason to."

"I smoke a lot which I guess isn't a great habit, but yeah, what can you do."

"I... well... guess you could say that there's some people I look or looked up to. If I had to mentioned someone, I'd probably say... well, Preston. Just don't tell him I said that."

"No comment."

"I sorta went to school back in New York, there was one in the settlement I grew up in."

"I... I rather not answer that."

"You could say that. Every time I'm around, Preston follows me around from one place to the other. Plus I've gotten the respect of the new Minutemen in my time here."

"That's somethin' you don't need to know."

"It depends, while traveling I wear some good amount of gear, but when at a settlement I wear a jumpsuit, they're pretty comfy. There's also my Minutemen uniform... but that's for more serious situations."

"Hm... maybe some well cooked radstag or brahmin, not every day you can eat some made perfectly."

"Well I do have some plans I need to look over you know..."

"Well most of what I make goes to the Minutemen, and we do have enough to feed our people and keep us armed, so I'd say middle class, especially compared to how I've been before."

"Uh... not that many?"

"Pie? Well uh, pie is good. I had one a long time ago and it had tasted pretty good... not sure what else you want me to say."

"Some good ol' bourbon."

"Anyplace where I'm not getting shot at."

"No, not really."

"Well if both weren't full of radiation, I'd say a lake. Technically grew up near one, so I always wondered what it would be like to swim just for fun back when I was little."

1. What was your first fic and could you stand to reread it today?

I belive it was a Doctor Who fic featuring all the living Doctors at the time (4-8) I wrote in Jr High....Wait....wait....there may be a Harry Potter fic that existed before that. Either would be difficult to read today. Although, I've been tempted to retype the Doctor Who one in all it's cringe-iness for Ao3

2. What’s your most recent fic and how far do you think you’ve come?

Falling Victim to Your Fantasy was the last fic I touched. I feel I've gotten more organized and less reference-y compared to where I started. Idk-- I feel it's less of a mess

3. In your opinion, what’s your best fic?

Dulces or Forbidden. I really want to say just Dulces because of all the work I put into it but Forbidden has gotten so much more attention

I try to do things that others haven't done before-- if I see a ton of fics going this direction, I'm gonna mix it up in this direction (see Doctor Lecter's Stylist). But there's usually a reason so many fics have the same concepts because that's just what's fitting for the fandom/characters. When I do find myself going in the same direction I'm just all "yep, here we go"

12. Have you ever written a fic and decided never to publish it? Why?

Yeah. I don't even remember the title. It was just....blah

13. What’s the biggest change between your style when you started in fandom and today?

I think i just got a little more detailed. Or at least more wordy

I don't think my tastes have change. Fandom shifted but I'm still looking for the same kind of content

I've gotten other wonderful comments too but this one sticks with me

I think it was one about how something I wrote was something the character totally would not do. It wasn't necessarily mean, just more so conflicting opinions
