ngl the bit where coach singh playfully bumps mr ajayi and tells him to invite mr farouk and he eventually does it with a cute little smile and she's grinning sooo self-satisfied is the CUTEST bit of the whole show

because they're middle-aged adults and they're much more mature/put-together than the teen main characters, right? but they still grin bashfully and tease each other and get blushing and loving. just. idk man, to be an adult and still get mushy with feelings

This was going to be very short and cute but there was just too much cuteness so now it's going to be longer and cute. In this gif we have:

The tail end of Nick pushing Charlie off of him (which it took him longer to do than was strictly necessary).

Nick, in no hurry to get up, with his hands expecting and ready for more roughhousing (and his face showing happiness at the prospect).

Charlie noticing something and Nick - instead of doing the typical person response of looking towards whatever has caught his attention - just continuing to look at Charlie for a while.

I rly hate the lack of Tori content

Like, I understand why most of the content is about Charlie and heartstopper because! There's more content there, and they have a TV show, and an ongoing plot, and like, Charlie is the main character, and he goes through a lot, so naturally he's going to be the main focus! But like...

Tori has a whole book about her. Not just her own book, but the first book. She's the first character in the Osmanverse. Every other character technically stemmed from her.

In that book, it is almost entirely about her depression, and her struggle, and her downward spiral, and-

Like. Charlie obviously has a lot of struggle. Obviously. But so does Tori, and I wish some people would get that? Like, I get some people haven't read Solitaire. But, like, even in the TV show you can see her struggling in the background and I wish some people would just acknowledge that.

Tommy Kinard would absolutely love Heartstopper and no one can convince me otherwise. It's something he keeps to himself, except that one evening Buck scrolls through his Netflix account to pick a movie and there's Heartstopper in the "continue watching" list because he has yet to see the last two episodes and...

"Uh, babe, what's Heartstopper? I've never heard about it before."

And Tommy blushes. Like, he turns as red as a tomato and tries to change the topic but Buck insists and he just presses play to the pilot and it takes Buck ten minutes into the episode to whisper into Tommy's ear "Oh my god, you're such a sap. And I already love Nick Nelson."

i was really wondering wether they were going to include the kitchen scene and how they'd do it, since it's already "censored" in the comics (and in more recent versions of Solitaire), and the tv show generally has a much lighter, more family-friendly tone. in the end they did sort of include it, but only as a few-second long flashback and really, really toned down (which makes sense), as if they were kind of "referencing" the original one. i'm glad they at least included something though, since i consider it to be an important part of the story. thought they did well in not showing anything graphic related to SH but still showing that relapses can happen and that recovering isn't a straightforward journey (+ showing nick and tori going to charlie's support).
