I wonder how many patients Carlisle has lost knowing he could have saved them, if only nobody had been watching. I wonder how many times he's spoken to grieving families and lied through his teeth when he said he'd "done everything he could."

... and I wonder how each of those losses has burned him.

Look at these stickers my brain is literally so huge. God. I love them so much.

I hadn't tried to do a sticker sheet at home before because I knew it would be difficult, and I was right! Getting the cut lines to line up with the print was super hard and there were many failed attempts, but it was so worth it I'm so happy with them!!!

This sticker sheet is for my patrons this month ^^

#like seriously I wasted like 10 entire sheets #normally when I do stickers I get to arrange them on a 'print and cut' sheet #which basically has these black marks in the corners that the machine can scan so it can cut based off of where those marks were #so it gets to line up muuuch easier #but with this I didnt want to have just like 2 sticker sheets a page... I wanted to have 4 for an 8.5x11 piece of paper?#cause of obvious reasons I feel #cause the print and cut takes an inch all around #I'm not sure it would be replicable either tbh? like if I were to design another sheet I would have to waste a bunch of papers again #cause for some reason the individual cut lines werent like... it wasnt like it was just entirely offset or entirely scaled 1:1 #it was like some parts had to scoot up some spots had to scoot over some down whatever #so I think I would have to print cut and test again #but. also I did all that and realized. I could have been testing this on normal pieces of paper... I didnt have to use sticker paper #its fine! just makes me feel less bad about trying to do this again in the future #the sticker paper isnt that expensive this wasnt terrible #anyways. might do more in the future! I only have one other idea right now for a sticker sheet bt I wanna do it eventually #not like I wont ever have other ideas. obviously.#I just generally try to only make stuff that i'd actually wanna have so i'm not trying to make a ton of designs or whatever #this is actually also why i'm often sort of... late? on the patreon designs #not late like i send them out as soon as payments get processed for that month the design was for #but ideally id be making them ahead of time enough that people could sign up or sign off if theyre interested or not...#but I just dont wanna make a design that feels procedural... I CAN but I wanna make things that are creative and worth paying for!#so. real talk i actually do put like. an unreasonable amount of effort into my textpost memes behind the scenes so it's actually really rewarding to get to share them thanks for putting up with my antics

#zanna talks #like first off i'm always doing my best to make sure they are not only in character but actually over a frame that makes SENSE in context #(many of my memes are incredibly situationally specific bc of this)#but on top of that i want them all to be consistently formatted so i have to track down the og textpost to get my own screenshot if #the one i have on hand is too low quality/weirdly formatted/in one of the tumblr color palettes other than classic #which adds a lot of extra work. but i want them to be nice and consistent and i want ppl to be able to screenshot the textpost for their #OWN textpost memes and have it look nice bc how i started out was by doing that and it's HARD to find non-crunchy ones sometimes #and THEN i have all the extra work of getting 1080p screenshots (forgive me. some are 720p and you can TELL. my wifi is bad) which #(bc of bad wifi) takes HOURS. and then i have to format them all so they're the same pixel ratio without weird white lines anywhere.#and THEN i have to put the textpost on top and arrange it so it looks nice graphically #and THEN i have to arrange them all in sets in chronological order but without too many from one movie or scene or of one character #(this is bc i am a freak)#so like. by the time u see these things i have put HOURS of work and careful consideration and curation into them #i do not do this lightly im deeply unwell #so yeah um. this has been a Post. explaining my unhinged process.#did i mention ive made over 200 for narnia hahahhahahah anyway #(and yes the fact that the tumnus one i made is on dark mode means i spent A FULL HOUR trying to find the og or a different screenshot #and could not and that KILLS ME.)

trying to plan my grandma's funeral and it is so hard. for emotional reasons but also because she didn't like music or books and she wasn't religious so we have no idea what to read/play at the service 😭 like at this point it's going to be a eulogy and then we all just go home

#she basically watched tennis and tv quizzes #can we play a round of pointless at the wake? tipping point in the crematorium?#she did read but only pulpy romance novels so like. we can't exactly read from any of those #she had a very healthy social life and lots of friends and hobbies but nothing that we could really do at a funeral #(except flower arranging. i'm sure her flower arranging club is going to show UP florally)#but like. what music do you play at the funeral of someone who didn't like music and literally never listened to it 😭#didn't want to make a sad post abt her passing away bc that's not really what i'm about and i know this is kind of flippant #but be assured we are all very sad but we're also english and finding humour in the absurd details of tragedy is how we deal with grief #🧃

finally tackled the absolute mountain of laundry in various states of cleanliness around my room. now all of it is sorted and put into its respective zones of "away".

#98% of my room being clean with visible floorspace is just finally handling the laundry #i am ashamed and embarrassed that i always have so much dirty laundry #eventually i'll get back to the point i was at when i was the coach of laundry where i'll have like a week's worth of shit to get done #and not a backlog of several months #eventually #and i will be working on not feeling so much shame about the state of my laundry #i don't *like* that i do it but there's nothing inherently immoral about it like the voice of my mother that shouts in my brain thinks #the put away laundry plus the effort i've been making to Make My Bed before sitting in it has helped me feel more settled in the space #so that's good #when i am not as concerned about blocking the various registers in my room i will be in business #(mattress on the floor only fits in one specific corner right by the intake)#(output register is awkwardly directly in the middle of the opposite side of the room which makes arranging the furniture where i'd like it #an interesting endeavor that i'm not super excited in attempting to orchestrate in the future)#i know where i'd *like* things to go #whether or not that'll actually be feasible is another story #also i think i'm going to have to just go through my clothes with the mindset of actually getting rid of things #i threw out a couple pairs of socks because they were worn so thin i'm not sure mending would have fixed the holes #like that that point i'm making a whole new sock and you know what i could do instead? not do that #i also have a lot of Baggage Items i haven't quite gotten around to divesting myself of #(as in the items of clothing have a lot of emotional baggage tied to them that i may or may not be using to negative effect on myself)#lots of old shit lots of things that don't fit lots of things i don't even like actually #but it was free or nearly so and i've just held onto it because free #only a few things are kept because i like wearing them and the texture is nice #so we'll just. go through some stuff and eventually i'll get to the point that even if *all* of my clothes are dirty and on the floor #it doesn't take up my WHOLE goddamn room #that said this has in fact been a problem my whole life and so i don't imagine it's going to be quick or easy to fix lol

#read through last night's post and was too lazy to edit so this can be its own post #i think that could have been a nice way to make the song align more with their current vibe #an acoustic guitar arrangement couldve worked too if a piano version would have been too similar to yurameki #the acoustic instrumental version of yokan is gorgeous so you know. why not expand on that #i understand that an acoustic ballad-y song might not have really fit the vibe of the single #but honestly i think yokan was a strange choice for this single altogether so i'm not sure that point really stands #personal
