what made you wanna write the story for bitchless?

this question is so important to me... so i'll do my best to answer in full detail okay !!

i've been on and off in the south park fandom since i was in grade school, posting art on deviantart, alright? i love south park and i consume a lot of fan content. it's the autism, definitely. i got diagnosed during my second year of art school.

but i think that if art school gives you a specific mindset it's one of questioning visual art in all its forms. so, after my last comeback to these spaces in february 2022 i came to the conclusion that i don't like a few things that i see in fanart:

(this is not me saying that you shouldn't. if you or anyone reading this like them it's totally cool!! tropes and ships are popular for a reason, you know?)

1- i don't like stan's characterization. cishet (and in denial), popular, jock stan was a very common headcanon/trope that i grew up with, especially during the last decade. it made a lot of sense when the show started, but as we watch the current seasons, we see stan evolve into this nerdy kid who is obsessed with board games, quotes anime and enjoys metal music. we see him pay little to no attention to his girlfriend and growing more and more fixated towards his male best friend, he's always been curious about gender to the point of imitating big gay al. we see him literally question his own gender in bathroom doors. we barely see him play sports at this point? i don't think that the stan we currently have is headed to the direction the fandom had pointed towards him. so i started drawing him like a nerd. moving on.

2- i don't like how weirdly protective people are about canon ships (a.k.a. if someone made me date my grade school boyfriend right now i would hate it so much). stendy, creek and tolchole (to a lesser degree) are often kind of treated like a monolith- they're unquestionable and unmovable and always there, "because it's canon". i know how important was for creek to become canon, i was there. but after watching post-covid... man. does it give me a weird aftertaste that these two ten year olds who were forced into a relationship ended up married and these other two ten year olds who have lived in the same town for decades are now in a weird situationship. they should date other people at least for a little bit, develop emotional maturity and decide if they wanna stick together at least lol. and with stendy, i'd stay first love should be a first love and that's it (i was talking with pom about that!!), making it endgame after such a long time of seeing that stan barely cares makes me feel weird. people being super weird about creek or style to the degree of calling themselves purists and DNI'ing whoever ships other things threw me off immensely as well. i'm sorry. this is just a me thing probably.

3- this is very similar, but i like to see different dynamics and how they play out!! after almost 30 years of existing, south park fan content often falls in the same common places. nothing wrong with that of course!! but i wanna see things playing out in ways i don't see often.

4- this is just a pet peeve of mine and it's not as common nowadays but why are we giving older designs of characters a big version of their childhood outfits. i don't know a single person who still wears or even keeps the winter hat they wore as a kid. the characters should be recognizable through their outfits!! there's so many possibilities, we should make it fun you know!!

edit: i believe it’s important to add that i really enjoy not only being a contrarian and venting about not liking these things, but i also wanted to make this sort of essay about loneliness experienced in different ways and how it affects your personal relationships. for stan it’s realizing when depression takes over and you’re missing out on everything your loved ones are doing— the world is moving, time is passing and you’ve been in bed the whole time. for everyone else? well, we’ll see.

i started out just drawing these guys, but i felt like making a full story would be more compelling. i love doujinshi and fancomics and i believe that we should always question the quality of the content we consume- and if we don't like it we should just make our own interpretations and stories. that's the beauty of fan content!! reflection and creation, not just mindless consumption. canon is not a guarantee that things are good!! so many things don't even make it to the final cut, the original content gets digested by networks and companies and sponsors and political interests before we even get to see it!! making a comic is rough (and i've spent three years of my life creating this material about characters i don't even own legally), but a start is a start and well. i like this, i've always liked graphic novels and i always wanted to make one. i kind of owed it to myself too.

in conclusion, i just wanted to make something that i found fun and new and i could share with my south park fandom friends after my autism diagnosis (it was rough, but i was medically cringe and thus i felt very justified to be obsessed with my childhood special interest)!! i'm very lucky to be able to complement and elaborate on some of my choices with theory about art and media analysis that i get at uni, and i'm even luckier that so many people have taken a liking to it as well!!

Hello! hope you are all keeping well and had a good May ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

as promised, I wanted to give a short update. very sorry for literally just updating my pinned post and not saying anything else, it was a mix of poor planning and hating saying goodbye...

most importantly:

new fic coming later today,

an upcoming primarch wedding series (more below),

and sorry to everyone who send in requests and is very patiently waiting for me to post! especially on the fic front.

finally got over my fear of writing about magnus. expect it in a couple of hours, i usually schedule posts to go at like 11am or 12pm. on that topic, i'll swiftly move onto what's upcoming and where i was ᵔᵕᵔ

i genuinely don't expect anyone to read all of this, but writing this out is almost like a plan for me to refer back to. years of project management is changing me. i'll have a standard operating procedure next and a project plan.

going forward i'd like to spend more time working on actual pieces of writing, i.e. series, one shots/fics, etc. as opposed to headcanons. i enjoy doing them, and will continue to do them, but it did start to have an impact on the writing i primarily want to do. 18x primarchs means each headcanon was taking up my whole evening, plus planning during the day, so i didn't have a lot of time to do what i actually wanted. i was trying to post at least one a day and yeah, it was burning me out hard.

mentioning posting, i will probably be posting writing less in the hopes i can increase the quality of what i'm posting. i probably will never think its good enough, but that's a me thing. but rushing something at 2am so its posted the next day is never any good. what i'm thinking of doing is a loose schedule for me to work to: update a series on monday, post headcanons on wednesday, an individual piece on fridays, and then anything else i get round to over the weekend. drabbles not included as i tend to just write them on my phone when i'm making dinner or in a game lobby, etc. i do this at work to keep me motivated, and have also started doing this for chores and it helped, so.. worth a try. i mentioned it before but i do have adhd and motivation is probably my biggest struggle alongside actually focusing on what i'm doing.

related to posting, as mentioned i'm going to start a primarch wedding series. coincidentally i got loads of requests about proposals, wedding day, etc at the same time so rather than a bunch of kind of related headcanons, i'll probably do it per primarch. idk if this has been done before, if it has, please let me know and i'll change it so mine is unique. i'm thinking something like those a-z posts, but really unsure. something to think about whilst i finish my civ campaign tonight.

i'm probably also going to be posting works that aren't related to warhammer. i'm not sure what yet, but i've always been apprehensive to post anything else in the past. i have series for simon riley half finished, an entire oc plotline for elden ring and dark souls, a lot of x reader stuff from elder scrolls, and a mix of everything for baldur's gate which has mostly come from my dnd sessions and the game. so that's just an aside. if it doesn't work out, i'll maybe have a sideblog for it.

on a related note, i'm going to be changing how things look on here a bit because i'm very particular about things being uniform and every time i look at my masterlist a piece of me fades... it's so plain and boring and just looks shit. now i've figured out what i want nightscythe to be (oh, it has a whole backstory and lore based plot, just wait), i'm going to align everything. unfortunately my want to sit there and do everything is minimal until i've found the exact style i'm going for. one change i did make was updating my icon. i don't draw very often because i criticise everything i draw, but my boyfriend said he liked it so it was good enough for me. more to come on that front though. i need some new banners, too.. but don't get me started on all that.

finally, on where i have been:

i have mentioned but primarily my motive for taking a break was university, i had lots to submit over the month and it was near impossible to try and keep on top of all of it. i also have ulnar tunnel on my right side and excessive typing makes it 100x worse, so it just made sense. but at the same time towards the end of april i was experiencing a lot of issues with my confidence around writing in general, so it was essentially a welcomed and well-timed break.

the confidence thing has mostly gone and i'll be honest it was in part due to the circulating posts around style, lore, etc. which i definitely fell into because i do tend to focus on the less grimdark side of warhammer; emulating my original description, sunshine and rainbows warhammer content. instead of dwelling i've just decided to put more effort into making sure my works do acknowledge that setting at the very least. my x reader works are more lighthearted and not for everyone, but my x oc works are far more grimdark and firmly set within the lore (albeit, additions to), if you follow me and that's what you're looking for.

if you did read all that, firstly sorry for yapping, secondly thank you for being here.

i mentioned before, i've been in a few different fandoms on here, and this has been the most welcoming so far and everyone is supportive, which is nice. i didn't even think i'd find a space to want to post anything i wrote again, so every time i do come on here, my heart is filled with a lot of joy and love for you all ♡

giggling, kicking my feet reading your responses to the angry anon. honestly it’s such typical anon thing at this point, i’m not surprised. what happened to scrolling away? what happened to leaving the page of a story that doesn’t fit your tastes? as you said, there’s probably 500+ options out there for anyone and everyone to read, so why send hate to one that’s UNFINISHED? with FREE to read content? i’m genuinely so baffled. i hope you take care of yourself, author! if it ever seems like the anons are getting too bold or rude, don’t feel any type of way about turning anon off: take care of yourself first. i usually ask with anon, but sometimes i forget and sometimes i just don’t care lol. i promise anyone that really wants to ask a question will absolutely still do it even if anon is turned off! and to that guy? not every story will be to your liking. not every meal will, either. not every person will like you. sometimes you don’t get what you want-that’s part of life. it’s important to think of these things like they are-books in development. you don’t harass authors about upcoming books and what they should add to it- you shouldn’t harass IF authors the same way. just because someone posts on a public platform about something they’re publishing doesn’t mean you’re owed anything. i’m sure they’re happen with suggestions or questions but then remember- they aren’t required to add them.

Sadly, anonymity gives a lot of bad people a way to spout their nonsense. But there are also a lot of good, nice and kind anons, and I love that. Just anonymously sharing some love is great, too. Hell, I've done that in the past myself.

But yeah, in the past years it has become so normalized to complain about shit you could instead just scroll past. It's sad, really.

Don't worry, these people have less impact on me than they think they do.

I'm in my early thirties now and legit have natural gray hair that covers like 80% of my "regular/actual" hair, because I had a stressful life. I've been through bullying, manipulation, SA, trauma, abuse and lost loved ones. I'm neurodivergent, closeted to the point the one loved person that I still have and live with doesn't know about it because they would push me away, and I live in an unsafe area with no possibility to move. Anonymous hate on the internet doesn't faze me as much as they'd like.

That said, I am taking care of myself. And it's people like you who help me to make me feel better. Because the love I get online has way more impact on me than the hate will ever have.

I am leaving anon asks open, and I'll keep it that way for the foreseeable future. I get many great asks, from anons and non-anons, and it's only that one person being a douche for now.

Also, I will keep defending others who get harassed for BS like that. I have a very strong sense of moral, and I just can't stand at the side and not say anything. I don't have that in me.

That said, I don't want to spam stuff like this, because I know people are here to read more about my IF, and not read about the hate me or other people get. But sometimes it's important to make something more visible, and I hope you understand that.

I've already posted something that looks like I'm sorry if that's the case, but this damn app doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me :(How do you think Valentino will behave publicly in a/b/o sick fic when everything is revealed? What kind of questioning should journalists give him and Marc about their relationship, especially since motogp will have to review the rules related to alpha and omega interactions? I really want to see how journalists will put pressure on both of them, like what kind of relationship they are in now, how Marc feels about what happened. There seems to have been mention of the compulsory courses that Valentino will be sent to, how will he publicly comment on this? And perhaps how will things really be in their relationship when the media finds out the truth (or part of the truth)?

Hi @ferraribriefingrina sorry I didn't answer this it's been weeks!!!! I'm trying to go through my inbox rn - so anyone else who's asked and hasn't had an answer I'll either get to it this week or, if you asked about a specific fic / request I probably haven't answered because I'm writing it haha.

Can you tell i saved this to my drafts and then started getting through my inbox and came back to it. Cause that's what's happened.

Okay, so!!! When people find out the reaction is mixed, some people are like wtf vakentino, that's awful, he should be punished and banned, etc. Other people just shrug and are like "well that's how omegas are treated." Yknow a bit about sexism. Either way, i think valentino makes a public statement and apology, talks about accountability and does a load of charity work and research, etc. Because I need him to have a redemption arc so bad.

The whole motogp reviewing the rules of alpha and omega interactions is so interesting because on one hand I don't think they will have any interest in protecting omegas but on the other they're under pressure to. I think they make a rule about use of alpha voice and that's enforced.

The emdia are awful about it, won't let it lie and keep asking questions because they're vultures. Marc just no commenrs them all, blank face, pr answers. Valentino tries to brush it off but also be sincere- he knows marc doesn't like them knowing so it's tough.

Media are defo looking for the gossip.

"Did you sleep with other alphas?"

"It's been said that you were hospitalised because of omega regression/ bond sickness, what can you tell us about this?"

So loads of prying into their relationship, what happened/ where it went wrong, and Marc's sickness. But also, yes, I guess questions about them now. How they're coping, how marc is feeling about being more of an omega again and being the pack omega? There's defo some nicer journalists in there, too. But as a general rule of thumb, I hate the media and tend to portray them negatively.

They agree that they'll stay out of the limelight as much as possible and keep their relationship private and on the down low. They try to not read reports etc as it makes it worse and instead focus on their relationship and packs. There's so much repairing to do anyways.

Also, lots of therapy. And lots of good communication and space and relearning each other!!!

This is a Daily-Vee blog, where I basically post daily Vee art posts (Art made by me !) as much as I can !

Before interacting, I would appreciate you reading this post first.

First of all, I DO NOT SUPPORT BLUSHCRUNCH STUDIO ! I am aware of the allegations and what the developers did. Yes, I know Rox has been fired, however Qwel from what I know has also done some bad things and defended Rox. If you wanna know what they did, I recommend reading this document about the situation.

I have heard from people saying she was lied to and manipulated by Rox however, unless there is proof about that- i don't quite believe what Qwel said. It felt more of an excuse to me instead and her behaviour to me is just very iffy and suspicious- im sorry, but I don't feel comfortable supporting Qwel

I don't support them, however I still enjoy the game and the characters, which is why I made this blog. I would appreciate it though to not make requests related to the situation ! I wanna keep this blog fun, silly and peaceful as well :D

I will be doing an order on how I post- on even days (2, 4, 6, 8...), i'll be drawing a request someone sent ! However on odd days (1, 3, 5, 7...), i'll be drawing my own ideas ! It's just to keep an order on how i post so i can do your guys' requests but also be able to draw my own ideas :D however, if there are no requests i can find on a even day, i'll just instead draw an idea my own

If someone ends up requesting an idea I already had planned to draw before, their request can be done on an odd day. The reason why is because it still was my idea, someone just ended up requesting the same idea i had so, it's best i take the chance to respond to their request as well :]

About the requests- you can send an ask requesting what you want me to draw with Vee, which, your request can be done for one of the days I post here ! here's a couple of rules though :

- The request HAS to be related to Vee. If your request isn't related to Vee, it will be ignored.

- Keep your requests respectful ! I will not accept any request that is hateful or discriminates against someone ! (By that, I mean that I wont do requests that have something like hating on gay and/or trans people, discriminating another race, etc...)

- No NSFW requests. I am not going to draw those kinds of things. The only kind of "NSFW" i'll draw is gore/blood- more specifically, the twisteds in the game. (Im not sure if it really counts as gore/blood? I'm just saying it just in case someone gets confused) Other than that, the rest NSFW things are a huge no-no for me

- Ship requests are allowed ! Well, mostly- I'll draw any kind of ships, whether it be romantic or platonic ! However, there MAY be a chance I can get uncomfortable with the ship you send. A small one though. If I do get uncomfortable, I'll likely not do your request. If you do a ship request, please specify whether it is platonic or romantic! Or else i'll just randomly pick !

Currently, the only ships I won't do/feature due to them making me uncomfortable are these :

Toodles x Vee/anyone (Platonic is allowed, reason why I won't do romantic is because Toodles is a child.)

Pebbles x Vee/anyone (Platonic is allowed, reason why I won't do romantic is because Pebbles is a dog)

Dandy x Vee (Reason why is because Vee seems to hate Dandy which- can't blame her tbh...also, Dandy seems to dislike Vee as well)

Goob x Scraps (Platonic is allowed, reason why I won't do romantic is because they're siblings.)

(There may be more ships added here in the future, I know there can be a ton of different ships that I may not even have thought about before. Just saying this just in case!)

- Remember that I won't do every request ! I'll likely do the ones that I find interesting or ones I like.

State of the Blog, December, 2024

IN THE GRIM DARKNESS OF THE FAR FUTURE THERE IS ONLY KINK

Sorry. Couldn't help myself. I have to say, there is a part of me that looks forward and sees grim and dark times indeed. So this might be a bit of a bummer post- feel free to skip it and resume your blessed edging. Edging pleases She Who Thirsts.

I - On Output

Well, we're back to a semi-regular schedule! I've been managing to write a lot more than on the first half of the year and the Library keeps growing! I haven't been able to do as many captions as I'd like for a variety of issues, which will be addressed in another section.

I do want to write more short, direct-to-reader texts. It might seem silly, but those texts are for me harder to write than stories: since they don't have the structure of a regular narrative tale, they need to come from a particular mood on my part, which has been elusive these days. But I really want to make more of them when I can.

But to be honest I'm quite happy that after months of semi dormancy I was able to write and produce stuff for you all!

II - On Captions and AI

Yes I'm still using AI and yes I still hate it- and I haven't found a viable alternative yet. See the previous state of the blog for details.

One of the keys, to me, to making captions is to look at a picture and see what vibe I get, what secret longing could be hidden behind it, how it can be transformed by text into something both new and enhanced by the image itself- and AI sucks for that. For every caption I make, I stare at or try to generate a ton of images. There's a... soulless quality to most of what the machine spits out. I can't quite put my finger on it. Can't simulate a soul, I suppose.

III - On The Current Times and Kink

Perhaps you've noticed a slight shift in tone lately. For instance, I've only written commissions that were girl/girl since the election, and the captions have more or less steered away from themes of female submission.

I'm sure this is a temporary thing, and I'll be back on my patriarchy kink train soon enough- but it feels a bit iffy to make such content right now. When assholes are screaming "your body, my choice" outside of kink, in real life... well, it feels a lot less like fun escapism, doesn't it? The last thing I want to ever do with my content is to harm someone or contribute to an ideology I absolutely despise.

So just to recap: fuck fascists, fuck real sexists, fuck real racists, fuck anyone that ever sees someone else as lesser. And a special fuck you to transphobes- emboldened little twerps.

So be kind to one another. Help one another, especially if you are in America. A lot of shit is going to happen, and mutual aid and support will be crucial.

I'm so excited to share it with everyone, but also kinda anxious because I never really had someone read my works, let alone post a fanfiction I made (っ ̩̆╭╮ ̩̆)っ Anyway, here it is! Disclaimer: I only have basic knowledge about prison, and what prison nurses are assigned to do inside its secured walls. The same thing goes for prisoners. Consider this a fictional work based in an alternative universe, only with the same countries, and stuff but with monsters + altered laws and rights to fit the story. So take this as it is, or shoo away. You can give me a few tips so I can take note of them, but please, be kind (｡ •́‿•̀｡ ) This is my first fan fiction, and story so yeah, expect a lot of errors + English isn’t my native language + I don’t speak German and only used a translator for this, so sorry in advance for the migraines my writing could cause you.

You're a nurse at a maximum-security prison. Providing care for both the staff and prisoners, a right everyone equally has so even if you don't like the idea of aiding murderers, and people of such backgrounds, due to some reason, this is the only job opportunity you can take as of the moment.

Today's actually your first day, so naturally, you're shown around the workplace you now have to get yourself accustomed to.

"Most importantly, don't trust anyone other than the staff. These men are filthy, better not get your hands dirty, know what I mean?" Sir Wagner stated, the disgust in his tone is evident and it's enough to let you know how much he despises the criminals behind the bars of his prison.

Even though you would like to agree with the statement of the prison's head, you can't find it in you to despise the people in the prison as much as he does. You're a little too soft sometimes, and also of contradicting nature that makes you automatically take the opposite side of any argument even when it gains you nothing.

Sensing you won't reply— honestly, he doesn't really care if you'll reply or what, since he just wants to get this over with— the warden decided to conclude that conversation there.

"Do you have any questions?" He asked, a plain tone now as he speak, putting his hands deep inside his pocket.

"None, thank you for showing me around."

You replied in an equally plain tone, also wanting to get over it already like he does. He didn't take it personally, his years as the warden made him professional and collected most of the times. Plus, he understood your unenthusiastic nature at your new job, no one after all would be that happy to work in a prison where they keep high profile criminals.

"Well, that's great then. I'll have Benedikt here assist you while you get accustomed with your new work. Ask him when you need help, and if you have any questions." With a brief glance over to the man on his right, sir Wagner introduced the other guy that unnoticeably joined your group of two along the way.

Benedikt nodded at you when you looked at him, he's got an awkward smile forced on his face as he stretch his arms towards you for a handshake.

"Benedikt MacTavish, nice to meet you," He introduced himself, his hand hanging in the air as he wait for you to reach it.

MacTavish? Doesn’t sound like a local name. You’re glad for that, at least you’re not the only foreigner on your new workplace.

"I'm—"

"Yeah, I remember. Your surname's familiar though, Price, yeah? Are you perhaps related to a military captain?" He casually cuts off your introduction, seemingly eager to know something like he can't hold the question another second longer.

A little taken aback with how he outright talked over you, you were silent for a minute to process that fact and also his question.

"Ah, yes, right," you replied when things finally start sinking in your brain, "Well, he's actually my uncle. How come you know of him?"

Honestly, he's not related to you by blood. He's just your adoptive father's cousin, which makes him your foster uncle if that word even exists. But he doesn't need to know that much about you, what would he even do with the information if you told him?

"Ah, well, my cousin's actually the man's friend. John MacTavish? Soap? Does that ring any bells?"

"Oh, Johnny, yeah, I know the man. What a small world we live in," you smiled after hearing a familiar name, finding the coincidence a bit funny.

Finally, you took Benedikt's hand to shake it, forgetting for a moment that it's still waiting for your hand.

"Nice to meet you, Soap's cousin."

"Nice to meet you, Price's niece," he returned the introduction in the same humor, a genuine smile now plastered over his lips.

"I'll leave you two to it." Sir Wagner interfered and just left you two without another word, which is honestly weird but expected of a man his type.

"Phew, glad I found something common with you, or else it'll be hard to find an ice breaker activity," Benedikt sighed in relief after sir Wagner's finally gone from the scene, "Have you already went to the dorms? Found your room, and all?"

With a shake of your head to answer his question, you wordlessly replied no and looked at him, seeing what he'll say or do.

"Ah, alright, I can show you where it is, then we can start our rounds after. Is that alright with you?"

"Sure, thanks," You answered, your tone is a bit lively now compared to with sir Wagner earlier, since you're like a chameleon who adapts to whichever environment it's in.

You're blue when they're blue, pink when they're pink, red when they're red, and so on and so forth. A firm believer of do unto others what they've done to you. Karma? You rarely put your faith in that, you mostly take things to your hands and be the human version of the word revenge. It's not really cool, in fact, you kind of live harder because of it, but no way your ego would let go of your way of living.

Benedikt started walking, looking at his back every now and then to check if you're still following him as he quietly traversed the halls that should eventually lead to the dorms.

In the middle of your journey, you passed the center of the prison that connects all wings of the building, which means, each transported prisoner would also pass the center before getting to their assigned cell.

The tension in the central building was thick, the air is almost suffocating that it made you freeze on your spot as you try to find the cause of such unnatural atmosphere.

When your eyes landed on the now closing heavy door of the building, your gaze immediately fell to the tallest man in the middle of armed men.

He instantly caught your attention with his tall height, sticking like a sore thumb from the whole crowd.

"Benedikt, you know anything about that man?" You asked in a low voice, curious to find out who he could be, not even tearing your eyes away from the behemoth of a man.

"Ah, shit, today's his transfer, I totally forgot…" He muttered under his breath with a curse, "König, an ex-military guy. Would you believe that today's only his 8th day in prison? Like all prison days combined. He won't behave in any cell he's put in, forcing him to be transferred on new places every other day with how many crimes he commit on each one."

"What??" You uttered in disbelief, taken by a total surprise with the information.

"Yeah, I'm being totally honest right now. It's not normal that a criminal would be transferred from a normal prison to the maximum security because of misbehaving, but guess what? He's committed murder after murder in each base. That's what made him worthy of maximum security prison."

You can just try to press your lips in a thin line, an attempt to hide your disgust. Murderer… The vilest things to exist in this world. How can he live knowing the fact that he's ended a person's life? Oh, how much you loathe them.

You kept a scornful gaze towards his way, throwing daggers as if your stare alone could kill the guy. And of course, it's impossible that he wouldn't feel it, eventually staring back at you.

König, as Benedikt referred him, looked back at you straight in the eyes. Even though there were no holes in the sack that's put on over his face right now, you're certain that he turned his head just to identify who could be burning a hole on his head right now.

You feel like throwing up. Just the thought of breathing the same air as that of a murderer was enough to make you feel nauseous.

"Benedikt, let's go. Bring me to the dorms already." You said, almost pleading as the desperation to get out of his presence faintly showed.

∆. 06:39:07PM of the same day, nurses' office.

"So how was your first round?" Benedikt asked, giving you the canned sparkling water he opened just now.

"Horrible," you replied, taking the canned drink from his hand and downing it quickly.

The drink slid down your throat just like any other liquid, but it's a little painful because of the fact that it's carbonated. You just downed your drink, the bubbles popping on your throat and making you feel like it's burning your insides for a second.

Benedikt gave you a concerned look, but quickly masked it with a soft laugh, "Well, I cannot blame you… Working with criminals isn't exactly the most honorable thing out there. Plus we're understaffed, which makes the workload for each of us actually horrible."

"Yeah, right, that too," you grimaced, feeling more exhausted than how you usually do back when you were just working at the hospital, "I'm sorry Benedikt, my condolences goes to you. You're the most packed nurse here."

He chuckled, "Well, if you're sorry, take some of my patients?" He joked, which earned a laugh out of you.

Before you could even reply, there's suddenly a loud bang in the room and it wasn't a gun, it was the room's door being haphazardly thrown open by a panicking nurse who's also out of breath.

Jane, one of the nurse you've met today.

"Someone! Help! Vanessa! She's– she's wounded! Her eyes! Oh my, heavens, her eyes! We have to sedate König, where's the syringe?!" She started rummaging the room for a syringe and a drug that's supposed to put a person to a deep sleep.

Alerted, Benedikt and you stood up and helped her search for something. When Benedikt got his hand on the drug, he approached Jane and held her shoulders, trying to calm her down.

"Jane, calm down, I got it, but first, I need you to take a deep breath. You can't work with panicked nerves." He tried calling in some sense to her, but she won't calm down.

She started screaming, and started getting hysterical.

Jane, and Vanessa, you're pretty sure they got a thing with each other, maybe this is why she's acting inconsolable?

"Give me the syringe and the drug, I'll respond instead," You presented, preferred to sedate a monster rather than calming a stranger down.

Benedikt's got a better knowledge than you do, it’s better you leave them be than be left to console her with words you probably wouldn't mean. At least that's what you thought.

Benedikt pondered for a moment whether you're fit or not to handle the situation, but in the end, he decided to trust you, giving you the things after all, and also telling the number cell of König.

Rushing to the scene, with an emergency kit you grabbed in the office, you wasted no time and ran as fast as you could.

1245. Cell 1245, prisoner 190228. Must hurry up to cell 1245 before it's too late.

Eventually, you reached your destination, and unfortunately for your guts, you were met with a gore scene. There's an emptied syringe poked into one of Vanessa's eyeballs, one of her hands wrapped around the object in fear as she trembles, and cries.

There's also a whole puddle of blood under her, a lot on her white uniform, and mouth. Now that you observe her, she's also shedding tears of blood, her lips tainted red as blood continues to flow out of it.

What the fuck. This scene is fucking horrendous. What happened?

The guards are gathered around König, watchful of his steps, expectant and quite tense as they wait for him to make a move— ready to stop him from causing even more havoc. While he's not moving, König is watching Vanessa bleed on the floor with cold eyes which is honestly more frightening than him causing a scene.

He's fortunately not punching one guard after the other, so you doubt there was a need for sedating him.

Surveying the situation, you decided to change your plans of prioritizing the sedation of König, to aiding Vanessa first.

Without an inch of hesitation, you knelt in front of Vanessa, some blood soaking the edge of your white skirt. You placed the emergency kit beside you, opening it with haste until everything in the kit is visible.

"It's no use!" Vanessa cried, "The poison has–" she then frantically screamed, fumbling a few of her words as she started gagging from her own blood.

Before you could even touch her, she dropped dead on the floor. A sight that will be the reason of your nightmares for days, or weeks.

You were shaken down your core, blood suddenly cold, and heart beating extremely fast out of shock. You feel your body freeze, hands that were supposed to hold her now are hanging mid-air.

"I just saved her years in prison for murder," You heard a man's voice from behind you speak in a thick, and unexpectedly boyish accent.

You can't stop your brows from furrowing, and eyes show contempt at the mere sound of his voice, let alone his words.

"You are disgusting, a vile creature, don't you dare open that filthy mouth of yours." Unable to restrain yourself, you spit each word with venom as you slowly turn around to look at him furiously, "You are the murderer here. Don't confuse it now."

He does not speak. His eyes only staring at you through those 2 small holes on his makeshift mask.

Holding his equally piercing gaze, you stood your ground, rationality has left your body. You're acting on impulse, on your emotions, something a professional shouldn't do in this type of situation but damn, your ego is just some other kind of level. It will definitely put you on your place someday, but you thought that you should just worry about it when that time comes.

"Pathetic human. Too dumb to even think." He finally broke the silence, irritation in his voice.

Before you could even reply, he had already turned his back on you, walking back to his cell on his on will. The guards locked him up quickly after checking on him one last time.

The maximum security prison is totally different from a normal one. It's worse. Because everyone is sworn to confidentiality, no word really gets out on what's happening behind its high walls.

Prisoners in this place are like expendable pawns. The government uses them however they wish, and unsurprisingly, companies too. They have illegal control over some of the prisoners, depending on how much they paid the government for it.

Someone wants König dead, and you're not even surprised that he was already tried to be disposed of first day in. It could be a private company he used to work for, or maybe enemy, it could also be done for personal reasons. Signing up for a job here means you should expect those types of things, that's why you made sure to be adequately prepared over events like this happening during your shift.

If he was a normal person, you would've felt bad for the prejudice you have over him, but he's a convicted murderer– a serial killer at this point, so you believe that he doesn't deserve the benefit of doubt.

"A killer won't get my sympathy. That will be the last thing I'll ever do in this earth," You've uttered, anger never leaving your eyes as you sat still in your place.

∆ . 11:59:31PM of that day, staff dormitory.

With a gasp, you wake up from a shallow sleep, catching your breath as you try to recover from the nightmare you just had.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," You cursed repeatedly, frustration and distraught are clearly heard in your voice.

Fortunately, you're the only one in your room, not a shared dorm or anything, or else your hypothetical roommate would've pegged you for a madman.

Why would it be about that now of all days? You said at the back of your mind, frustrated over the dream you just had.

Desperately, you tried to swallow that thought, along with the nightmare. Fortunately, before the memory gets too vivid, the alarm on your wristwatch goes off which pulled you out of the world you’re sucked in.

It's the alarm you set the first time you got it, 12:00AM. Midnight on the dot.

You sat down, trying to calm yourself.

Ah, right, your next shift is at 12:45AM which is just 45 minutes from now. With Vanessa gone, and Jane temporarily dismissed to rest, you had to take the extra shift and give up a few hours of your precious sleep.

That reminds you, have you checked up on König as you were supposed to? Even if you hate him, you still have to do your job.

Shit, now you got to fill his report before anyone even notice or ask for it.

Reluctantly, you got out of your bed and prepared to check in early for your shift, planning to stealthily take the prisoner's record to fill it up, hopefully while no one's around to harshly criticize your tardiness on your first day.

You made it to 1245 cell without any road bumps, luckily. Now all that's left is actually checking up on König which you can just frown about. Before sticking the key in the hole, you took a deep breath and tried to at least look neutral—your working face.

Counting from 1 to 5 quietly at the back of your mind, you collected yourself at 3, steeled yourself at 4, and finally, pushed the iron door open at 5 without giving yourself enough time to hesitate and get cold feet.

This prison gives each prisoner a spacious place to live in almost comfort, with only one person per room. At least that's how they do it in this part of Austria. There are quite a lot of cells after all, so they're not shy on using all of them.

"I'm your nurse, I will be checking up on you so please, sit down." You said with a firm tone, putting the bag on the bedside table where all of the essentials for vital checking should be packed.

Each nurse on duty is required to use the same bag, for both safety, and precaution.

"Ärgerlich schädling," he muttered under his unusual breathy voice which set an alarm in you.

Now that you look at it, the back of his shirt is wet, and he's panting a little. Did you really mess up big time on your first day? Shit, now you have to fix this somehow.

"Prisoner 190228," you read the number assigned to him, printed on the sheet of paper you're holding one-handedly, "I said sit down. I can't check on you properly if you're positioned that way."

It was pathetic really. Your nerves are getting the best of you, and it's hinted on your voice.

“Will nicht,” he grumbled, unmoving and unbothered.

You never really stayed in Austria that long in the past. Only a year or two to finish the last 2 years of your nursing school but your university didn’t require you to speak German so you didn’t bother getting that deep into learning the language. You’re an entry-level speaker at best, but since it’s been years already, you’ve lost that ability and can only guess what he’s saying.

“You will, now hurry up and sit down so we can get this over with.”

“Ich sagte nein, verliere dich.”

“Yes, you will. And please, I would really appreciate it if you speak in English.”

You heard his tongue clicked at that, “Warum sollten sie überhaupt eine Ausländerin einstellen? Ich bin es verdammt leid, diese verdammte sprache zu sprechen!” He groaned, almost sounding like a teenager throwing a tantrum at his bed.

He sat down on his bed after that outburst, you don’t even need to peek under that mask of his to know he’s frowning in annoyance, his eyes alone says it all.

“Awfully late to check up on me now, yeah?” He asked, begrudgingly you think, but you decided not to give attention to it.

“Did the syringe grazed you? Was it injected on you? Or did it find other ways to get into your veins?”

“No.”

“Really?”

“It did not.”

“Are you certain?”

“I am fine, so get lost.” He snapped again, his voice starting to sound like his catching his breath again.

You thought he was grinding his teeth the whole conversation, and now it made sense. He’s holding something back, and it’s probably the pain from the poison, his tone only adds up as an evidence to that.

“You are not. You’re breathless, sweating, and,” your eyes looked all over him, trying to observe his posture, to find proofs to support your claim, “…You’re sweating buckets, and shaking.”

You bit your lips, an attempt to maintain your composure as you try to find a solution.

“I need to see your face, take that mask off,” without a warning, you reached for the edge of his mask— something that you later regretted doing so.

In an instant, he has put you under him, his gloved, big hand is wrapped around your neck while the other one is gripping your wrist that was once the closest to his mask earlier.

He’s fuming in anger, the heat coming off him is immense as if he’s a steam machine. Bodies wouldn’t act normally like this against poison, not this much heat while keeping a great vigor. His body feels so different… something you’ve never seen before.

“Touch my mask once more,” He seethed through gritted teeth, anger evident in his unblinking eyes, “Then I will have to devour you.” He threatened, his hot breath and heavy body touching your skin, “Stubborn maus. Get your ass out of here before it’s too late. I won’t take responsibility for your insanity.”

This marks the end of this chapter.

I've been casually working on a College AU

...and I'm so sorry for those who are over these kind of AUs.

I have a Discord server where I write little fanfics and stuff for myself, and have been adding to it for years. One of the repeating ones is a College AU that involves characters from a few different shows.

Since I've been feeling down, I figured I'd make a little post about it in case anyone is interested.

This whole thing started with the fearsome four, so I'll start there.

Fearsome Four

They've been friends since the beginning of college (and some longer). While they don't always have a lot in common, and may bicker often, they do genuinely enjoy being around each other. They like to meet up sometimes to share a meal and complain about their lives or talk up a recent project.

Reggie (Reginald Bushroot) Plant Molecular Biology & Plant Sciences

Shy, lonely, kind, gets bullied. He spends most of his time in the nature center and greenhouses. Students in his (and similar) degrees/programs have reserved spaces around there, and his happens to be in one of the greenhouses. He spent a long time working out a special process that could give people plantlike qualities, and eventually succeeded (on himself.) For the sake of keeping him in the college storyline, he has the ability to believably make himself look "normal," but it's not something he likes to maintain for too long.

Bud Flud (Or is it Flood?) Business Administration & Management

Manipulative, stubborn, selfish, still cares about his friends. He's the sole heir to his family's company. When his mother died, she left the company to him, but his father has been finding every delay or loophole to keep it all in his own hands. One day he's invited on a full tour of the main building for their biggest earner: bottled water. An executive (or at least someone hired to look like one) takes an excited Bud around and they eventually end up in the lowest basement floor, where he's pushed into one of the vats. Bud's father ran stories in all forms of media asap saying Bud was dead. Just outside the city, he reforms on the side of a river and sneaks back to his dorm. similar to Bushroot, I wanted him to be able to actively participate in college things, so he can hold a more "normal-looking" form that takes advantage of his watery abilities (and maaaybe makes himself look a bit stronger/beefier.) Eventually, he does get revenge on his father and takes over the company, but attempts to stay in college, because he doesn't want to leave his friends.

Jackie (Quackerjack) Mechanical Engineering & Robotics

Chaotic, fun, kind, impulsive. All he's ever wanted was to make toys and games (not the electronic kind) for people of all ages, but every time he had ever proposed his prototypes or ideas to companies, they had shot him down. Every time they'd become more and more harsh about it. During the final presentation the representatives he was presenting for told him he'd never get into the industry, and that's when he snapped. With his skills in engineering (and sewing), he created a toy army in secret as well as his signature costume, and proceeded to take down the companies that told him he'd never succeed. After his revenge, he is the first one to lead the group into becoming supervillains and tends to take on the leadership role more often than not (although, Bud takes charge in a few instances.)

Elmo Sputterspark (Megavolt) Electromechanical Engineering Technology

Socially anxious, guarded, has a hard time showing emotions, but genuinely cares for his friends. He started off college as the smartest one in class, always participating (even if he hated his fellow classmates), and doing extra credit often, even though he never needed it. He proposed his ideas on electricity and generation of it, and his professors laughed him out of the room. That's when he knew he was going to prove them wrong. Once he started making some real progress on his life's work, he stopped doing it in his reserved space in the science wing and started working on it in his dorm (which is against the rules, but no one's stopped him yet.) As he continued his work, he started getting into tunnel vision, his friends occasionally dropping by to bring him food and things. After an experiment, he found that he's become a living battery. Instead of his brain immediately being fried by the process (like in the show), his brain gets more jumbled as he continues to use his abilities. At some point he shows his new successful invention to his professors and they refuse to acknowledge his work, but still look into what he did. At a later date, he found out that they stole his work and put it out as theirs. Jackie suggested getting revenge so they go get back at them together.

The Theater Kids

While not a particularly tight-knit group, they do end up spending a decent amount of time together. They all are in majors in the Theater wing of the college, but Jim, Drake, and Duckula tend to get put on projects together (generally to Duckula's dismay.) Meanwhile, Drake, Duckula, and Daffy are all major players in the Event Planning Committee, mainly because they all want to host and be the center of attention.

(Warning: there's a lot of "and he's the son of..." in this part)

Jim Starling Acting

Selfish, guarded, standoffish, but serious about his work. He's secretly the son of the actor who played Darkwing Duck in the old show, but hates Darkwing for that exact reason. While it's a secret, Drake knew immediately and wanted to meet him, only to find Jim threatening him to never tell anyone. Before Drake showed up, he used to get every hero/protagonist role in major productions from the college, but now he only gets villain/antagonist roles. It angers him to no end that his roles are being "stolen" by this new guy. Through one means or another, he ended up meeting the actual Negaduck (90s) and while they're trapped together for a bit, Negaduck helps inspire him to play the best villain he can.

Drake Mallard Acting

Kind, stubborn, arrogant. One of the founding members of the college's Darkwing Duck Fan Club (the other being LP, but he doesn't actually go to college there.) His dorm room is filled with Darkwing merch of all kinds. As a member of the Event Planning Committee, he's the only one willing to do the paperwork and early prep for events. While sitting at a computer filling out forms and doing expense sheets isn't the most fun, it does give him more freedom to slip in a few Darkwing events and episode showings without running them by the rest of the committee. At a later point, Negaduck stalks the college campus and another character (Buck) suspects Drake and Jim. It's revealed soon after that Drake is the son of the actual Darkwing (who existed alongside the show.) His mother is Morgana Macawber and his older sister, Gosalyn, is Quiverwing Quack, local beloved superhero. His parents retired from superheroing and are traveling the world (though we all know DW is likely still running into problems, lol.) His father left him all of his old gear so Drake could take up the superhero mantle, but he's been too scared of ruining DW's legacy and being in his father's shadow. During the investigation, they find out Negaduck had put a tracker on DW's old suit and was back for revenge. Drake tried to pretend to be his dad to trick Negaduck, but it didn't work. Afterwards, they confide in Jim and get him to play DW, and he successfully convinces Negaduck long enough to get him trapped. Once Negaduck is turned over to the police, Drake rethinks his situation and slowly learns to be his own Darkwing, eventually making his own suit to fit.

Count Duckula (or just Duckula) Drama / Dramatics / Theatre Arts

Arrogant, dense, vaguely evil, but also very lonely. Unlike most students, he doesn't live in a dorm. Like his previous incarnation, his castle can warp wherever he wants to go, so he just warped near campus and set up his castle so that it wouldn't leave (for Duckula fans, I assume he just had to remove his cuckoo clock.) Out of the Event Planning Committee members, he's the best at event prep and technical stuff. You need a projector? You need a fog machine? You need a DJ setup? He can get it and set it up easily. He doesn't even seem to be aware of his skills in prepping sets and equipment. That being said, as they were deciding who got to host the biggest party of the year, he won and was super excited to host. It was definitely his favorite part of the year and made everything else worth it. Meanwhile, his skills in acting could definitely use some work. He once had to play a damsel in distress for a group exercise and Duckula's work was so bland, Jim came out with a chainsaw and scared him into saying his lines right. This mainly worked because his only lines were basically "help" and "save me!" One problem for Duckula is that he's a vampire, which is one reason why he wants to do theater so much, no cameras required. There are cameras that can capture his image, but they are unbelievably expensive. His dream is to get a bunch of those cameras and fulfill his family's dream of becoming famous. (For Duckula fans, this version is based on the 18th, who can show up in cameras, but this was added for more drama.) At one point he gets it in his head that animation would mean he doesn't need cameras, but he decided to hypnotize the entire animation wing to make him an animated pilot he wrote (and not a very good one.) After the hypnosis wore off, they chased him down, ready to stake his heart with styluses (styli?) and pencils until he agreed to bring them snacks for a year and donate to the animation wing.

Daffy Duck (Jr?) Musical Theater

Arrogant, aloof, chaotic. He's the son of the original Daffy, and a big Duck Dodgers fan. Since he's rarely paired in a group with Jim, Drake, and Duckula, he tends to tease their group a lot and give them grief when they use the stage too often for their practice. As a member of the Event Planners, he focuses on the decor and aesthetic for events. He also bothers Drake often about doing Duck Dodgers showings and bugs him about Dodgers being "better" and "more beloved." He'll slack off sometimes during event work when it comes to actually putting things up, but his decorating plans are actually pretty solid and eye-catching. He'll occasionally do social media stuff for events, too (especially if he's the one who gets to host them.)

The Rest

Other characters I didn't really have a group for, but are still important.

Buck McDuck (Aka Young Scrooge McDuck) Business Administration & Management

Stubborn, clever, impulsive. He took on the alternate name of Buck because he thought it would sound cool and give him the chance to separate his college life from his family life prior. His first year at college, he decided to take on a job as a part-time security guard, which he soon found was going to be very high stress. Catching small time security stuff was easy and boring, but soon a costumed villain (Negaduck) showed up and started causing problems. He never watched Darkwing and wasn't in the area during Darkwing's time as a hero, so it wasn't until way later on that he found out Negaduck was the criminal messing with campus (and constantly escaping him.) Eventually he had to work with Drake (and later on, Jim) to catch Negaduck and turn him over to the police. Buck was already becoming worn out from this madness, but it wasn't until a later incident involving Birch (Badboy) Goodman that made him quit his job and instead focus his efforts on selling homemade study guides (similar to Azul Ashengrotto of Twisted Wonderland) and doing odd jobs around campus (like helping the event committee) for extra cash. Luckily, these jobs also ended up paying better. Sometimes he likes to do his schoolwork while hanging out with the animals in the veterinary area, but he'd never tell anyone about that. I had an idea for his brother (from Italian comics) Gideon McDuck to show up and jumpstart the newspaper / reporter club, but that wouldn't happen until Buck was at least in his second or third year. Also, the possibility of Glomgold meeting him during some kind of international competition, losing, and transferring just to be able to beat Buck at things in his own classes.

Sylvester Pussycat Graphic Design & Illustration

Creative, sneaky, aloof. He's an ex-delinquent with a love for graffiti, who wants to become a muralist. Instead of a dorm, he saved some cash by renting a studio apartment nearby. It's a bit run down, but he knows a guy so he gets it at a steep discount. He's definitely butted heads with Buck on a few occasions (when Buck worked security), especially when he got a hold of Black 4.0 paint — he painted cartoonish holes in parts of campus, which really messed with people (imagine walking into a room that's now just a black void.) After he was forced to clean it all up as punishment, he promised not to paint all over campus again (but the city is fair game.) As one of the best resident artists who also is strapped for cash, the Event Planning Committee hires him often for poster, banner, and flyer designs. As an extra bit of fun, if he sees Duckula trying to hypnotize someone, he'll jump in and stop him— usually by pushing his beak up towards the ceiling. Duckula obviously gets annoyed at it, but Sylvester tells him that's what he gets for hypnotizing people.

Birch Goodman (Badboy) Neurobiology & Behavior

Kind, sweet, polite, cinnamon roll who must be protected. (Rude, selfish, uncouth, punk rocker)

Thee original Birch is transformed by his machine (and a thoughtless Danger Mouse) into a villain, but this version is instead semi-transformed through an accident while testing it. Through that accident, he gets stuck in a sort of Jekyll and Hyde situation where both versions of him share the same body (For Disney Comics fans: Think Gyro Gearloose / The Mad Ducktor.) Birch wanted to make a machine that could help the world learn to be more polite and peaceful, while Badboy wants to use it to make everyone embrace rudeness. Birch has a reserved space towards the back of the science wing, so he doesn't talk too often with others, especially since the accident. Whenever Badboy takes over, he avoids classes in favor of causing chaos around campus with a smaller, more temporary version of the machine, in the shape of a megaphone. To Buck's dismay, Badboy always slips away without leaving a clue as to who he really is. Birch wants to finish the main machine in hopes it can undo his situation, and he hopes he'll be the first to use it. Unfortunately, Badboy is the one to finish it and immediately unleashes it on the campus (with plans to unleash it on the world.) Luckily, Buck and the Fearsome Four were off-campus during the initial blast. They come back and realize they're likely the only ones unaffected, which leads to them working together to take Badboy down and deactivate the machine. As Buck, Quackerjack, Liquidator, and Bushroot distract Badboy (who ends up being more of a challenge than they expected), Megavolt works to rewire the machine. Once reactivated, everyone on campus returned to normal, including Birch. Though, even with Badboy gone, he sometimes falls back into his ruder ways.

If people like this, I can do occasional run throughs of other AUs and things from my Discord.

Also, for anyone wondering "why these characters?" I picked a few of my favorite characters at the time, and since this was written over the course of a few years, it ended up being a random assortment. I also run through a certain rule that characters must be from the same generation, if that makes sense. Since I had added Buck, I didn't feel comfortable just bringing in Donald, Della, Daisy, or other characters from the younger (duck cousins) generation. Another application of this was picking which generation Gosalyn and Launchpad would be a part of, which is why I went with Gosalyn is from 90s DW, so she's an adult (who is only ever mentioned, tbh), but LP appears occasionally at the college as a friend (or more) of Drake.

First of all, thank you for responding to me and sharing your thoughts. Second, umm… this message isn’t mine. I was randomly scrolling through Tumblr when I came across someone’s chat post about unpopular Squid Game theories, and when I saw this, I kinda thought they were hating, lol. So I decided to send it to you to see if you think their opinion is logical or not.

Third, I’m actually someone who loves ship 457, but I’ve never shipped Gi-hun with anyone other than In-ho. Even back when season one was out and people were shipping him with Sang-woo, I always just saw them as friends. Same with Jung-bae—I feel like they deserved more. As for Gi-hun being treated like a toy for every ship, I really don’t like that. It’s like they’re undermining his character.

Now, why do I want In-ho to have a redemption arc, even though I know the chances are low? Because I think he’s had a really painful past. He’s a character you can’t fully see as a good person because of the games and how he killed Gi-hun’s friend, but at the same time, you can’t fully see him as evil either, because his past was even worse than Gi-hun’s. He’s such a complex character, and that’s why I love him.

And I think I might be the only person who imagines In-ho as a bottom. The reason is that, despite his controlling and dominant personality, his soul actually craves companionship and someone who can bring out the light in him and make him feel safe. That’s why I see him that way.

The problem with the fandom is that not only is 80% of it centered around top In-ho and bottom Gi-hun (which I don’t mind), but there’s no balance at all. I’d say maybe only 20% of people like bottom In-ho fanart, fics, or topics, and even then, nobody analyzes it the way they do with bottom Gi-hun.

For example, they’ll say stuff like, “Since the director used to love a gay movie, that means he’s a top In-ho and bottom Gi-hun truther,” or “Since 456 is closer to 222, and if you add the numbers together, they equal Gi-hun’s number, that means he’s the second ‘carrier’” (???). Or they’ll just turn Gi-hun into a sex toy for every male character. They even make him super feminine, and honestly, that makes me feel sick.

And then we even have haters for that 20% of bottom In-ho fans. They say it’s out of his character, but meanwhile, they write any kind of personality they want for top In-ho.

Thank you for clarifying, that makes more sense.

About Gi-hun being "used as a toy" for every ship, I don't agree with that view at all. I'm a Gi-hun harem truther, and the way I see it, it's not about him "being used as a toy" but more about giving him all the love and adoration he deserves.

Yeah, I agree with that. In-ho is interesting because he's complex, though personally I don't see how he could be redeemed, but I'll just have to wait around and see season 3 for that.

Like I've already said on this blog once, I don't care for top/bottom discourse at all. Being top or bottom has nothing to do with personality. Since I'm not a gay man, I don't think I'll ever fully understand how it works, but in fiction, we can make whichever character we want the top or bottom. It's unfortunate that the majority of the fandom doesn't agree with your preferred dynamic, but that's just how it is.

Honestly, anon, they way you say it makes you "sick" when people feminize Gi-hun ticks me the fuck off. I've seen other people say stuff like that, and it's honestly just misogyny, to be honest with you. It implies there's something inherently wrong with feminizing a male character, that feminization is somehow humiliating and demeaning. Mind you, Gi-hun is played by Lee Jung-jae, a man who's not afraid to wear skirts or pink or pearl necklaces. So yes, we're feminizing this character and we'll keep doing it because there's nothing wrong with it. Sorry it's not your cup of tea, but it's actually easy to avoid things you don't like in a fandom.

I have a lot of stories I gave up on because I had too many (20 if I recall right), but the ones I've kept/survived from my middle school story purge were Two Over A Kind, and Shadow Killed. However I have other stories that came after those two after I entered high school such as Mandela's Requiem, Backyard Thursday, Never So Norm, Collidests, and Rose Burnt, (yes I have a lot of stories, but they're not lore heavy so they might seem short/fast)

Although the only official rendition of a comic out right now would be Mandela's Requiem but I want to re-draw it in a different format similar to my ask blog @ask-the-druggieverse and what Homestuck uses because it's easier and I can gather all the images I draw and upload it YouTube for people to read

As for old art? oh geez I have a LOT of old art....

I'll put it under a read more and separate them by year U_U

Also blood warning (gore maybe too? not sure what to label it-) and huge and tiny spoilers for Mandela's requiem!!! (I just felt very proud of those drawings and I also can't help myself but show the future plans I have for MR's story!!) (and also characters that will appear in MR's epilogues!)

4th: Mandela's Requiem epilogue Chester character sheet! I haven't touched this specific character sheet in a LONG time and need to come back to it as this story is one of the very few stories that has a small cast of characters to work on!!

5th: Slice Of Pieverse unified!Nightmare hehe ^w^ tiny spoilers: In SOPV fusion is a thing after the calamity happened (it's a split timeline of Underverse where Bill!Sans is a bit more important) although this isn't a "fusion" form, families (either blood related or adopted) don't fuse, they unify (essentially they can use each others abilities/their abilities become stronger)

1st: Amari Feng, She's from my given up story called "A Fantasized Beginning", I gave up on this story because I had too many stories and this one just had too much stuff going on (In short: It's basically RWBY and MHA mixed into one, kids go to school to become pro-hero's in outer-space because an evil group known as "the dark entropy" were colonizing/taking over planets and the heros had no idea how they kept doing it, and then BOOM!!! PLOT FUCKING TWIST!!! the number 1 pro-hero was the one conducting the evil groups plans all along and the hero get's stopepd by the MC's, although the colonizing and taking over doesn't stop as more villains pop up and hero's continue being hero's but this time the hero's have a easier time saving everyone) I made this story when I was in middle school along with many others, although after I did my story purge the only two stories that survived were Shadow Killed and Two Over A Kind (TOAK had a massive story overhaul and is not like it's OG plotline) I don't have plans to go back to this story, however I might if I complete all of my stories before I die, which I'm sure I will because I'm shortening a lot of them, and if I do I will DEF shorten AFB by a lot because middle school me planned like 16 something seasons (jesus.) (Also Amari was not the MC but an antagonist that later becomes an MC and was heavily inspired off of Himiko Toga(Can you tell?))

2nd: Heh... My first attempt at lineless art.... This is also back when Blipthyn was blue and was named Blueprint, I do not like TOAK's 5th rendition of a story as I was going through a hard time and heavily trauma dumped the shit out of that specific rendition of TOAK and just scrapped a lot of it, only a few things I liked survived in the current 6th? 7th? version of the story and I plan to keep it that way unless it becomes too long in my eyes

3rd: THE CTT!!! CHAOS TIME TRIO!!! Also my fist art/was around the time I met my friends Keter and Geno in the lunime discord server! we all loved undertale at this time and formed this group, a lot of things changed about each character so these are their old/beta designs, however this piece still has a place in my heart because of how special it is to me :hearts:

1st: Laim! he's also from another cancelled story called 12-15-22-5, or also known as 12-15-22-5 Project: Life this story was a romance between a resurrected angel heading and a human, the resurrected angel's goal from the company he was revived from was to find a way to break someone's heart/love to the point of dying so that they could kill a god (for some reason?? my middle school self never really specified why) However things backfire as the resurrected Angel falls in love with the love interest (heh... not straight BTW...) and other resurrected angels are sent after him and his friends because it'll "sabotage" their plan, I never planned an ending for this story but I do remember that this story was inspired off of HXH and Four Leaf on webtoon

2nd: I'm gonna be so fr I don't know why I made this character (his name is Phrog)

3rd: Ian and Damien's first ever design <33 And also Shadow Killed's first ever concept art! their designs have been changed by now so yeah :(, in fact this art was made back when I was beginning to feel happy again, although that died out because Middle School was super rough for me.

4th: Ah yes.... DSMP.... Beeduo.... and... MICHEAL!!! (This was back when the DSMP was at it's prime from my knowledge... augh...) I'm gonna so fr with you I never saw Michael (Beeduo's adopted child) as white I'm so sorry, I always viewed Michael as black I don't know why I did I just did XP, no hate to anyone who views Michael as white, I just never saw it myself This isn't ship art btw. If people get upset that you're not posting about FK they need to get a grip. I'm sorry to be so blunt but there it is. If you or anyone isn't feeling it anymore for whatever reason, or if you're still feeling it but just getting excited over something else, that is fine. I know this sounds mean and I like the FK delulu stuff as much as anyone but it's dumb to be upset about it.

Like I think we're all aware you're not gonna stop posting about Khaoting at least. Come on. It's not the end of the world if you for whatever reason don't ship him as much with First anymore. And getting bothered by talking about another ship independent of them is weird. They might be monogamous but you don't have to be 🤣

I ship khaotung so hard with first is the funny thing about this. first's place in khaotung's life is near equivalent to that of his mothers. I've been obsessing over this hug for days, totally unable to forget about it, it is imprinted behind my eyelids.

That's not husband wife or a boring romantic dynamic thats just straight up Pocahontas with her weeping willow grandmother like good for them coming in strong with the Disney ride or die dynamics. They are Ariel and Flounder, Mushu and Cricket. There are two men's hands on that boy and he's still trying to climb first!!!! Like damn son I'm sorry that First's ribcage doesn't open up so you can climb inside, I agree that god made a Very Serious Design Flaw when he made First opaque so that Khaotung can't spend all his free time staring at his heart beating.

Does First live in Khaotung's house? How the fuck should I know??? The only thing I know for sure is that if First wanted to be a fish, Khaotung would be the aquarium - does this mean they want to get married????? idkkkkk? I got bigger problems than obsess about who Khaotung will get married to. [for example: who will *I* get married to??? I've had two back to back LTR duds in my 20s so I'm not feeling very hopeful atm]

But I'm interested in everyone's viewpoint. The point is that there's a little bit of RPF for everyone to enjoy here. If you don't enjoy RPF why are you here and if you do but my content is still stressing you out - how is that even possible just scroll down to a different post in the delulu circus tag??

I ask for people to tell me what they're interested in so I do get a lot of opinions on what I post more or less for the entirety of circus posting - good and bad. Sometimes the bad is not that nice but at least it's in alignment with the kind of things I post. And I really don't care about WHAT people think of my clowning. If people hate it I'll stop posting it if they enjoy it I'll keep posting it. But I'm always clowning on my own time regardless.

But the people in my inbox this past week are so angry and I feel so bad for them. I am starting to think there is a contingent of users or one very passionately disapproving user who blames me for Joongkhao's popularity (at least on Tumblr) and like???? idk???? many people told me they like Joongkhao because of me so??? maybe they are like 10% right even????? No one puts me on a pedestal like an angry anon let me tell you.

But most of it's not even about me? Nothing that people have come into my inbox yelling at me for this past week are things I actually say???? Like I wish I knew WHAT was going on with that person that sent me A PARAGRAPH of anger in response to this post. I can't believe anyone can be THIS mad about my antisocial son making a friend 😭😭😭

Everything is fake!! Anguish over fandom is pointless!!!! I do realize that there will be anguish in fandom with or without me. But man I do feel really bad when I've made a joke about Khaotung wishing Joong on his birthday and it just ruins someone's day. It wasn't even that good a joke, if someone is going to ruin their day at least let it be a Grade A circus post 🤧

Speed/Lazuli/Silvia: a Romantic Relationship that's not great...(1)

Alright, I said I might do this so here we go.

Speed the Jolteon and Lazuli the Glaceon, as probably everyone who has read the comic would know, are the main romantic pairing in Eeeveelution Squad. It’s a pretty big part of the reason why Eeveelution Squad got popular; due to this, people began wanting the relationship to happen eventually, and then came the shipping wars and all that with people arguing on who Speed in particular should be with as well as other characters but the focus is particularly on him. Then came Silvia which made things worse.

I’m not going to fully explain who these characters are because most likely, if you’re reading this then that means you're probably already aware of the characters so let’s just continue to this romantic relationship which I tend to describe as, “way too liked to the point it’s kind of concerning" as well as, "Speed's Bad Ending"

Now as the...two people who saw my drawings and opinions of the characters of Eeveelution Squad might guess, I’m not exactly in favor of Lazuli and Speed's relationship happening at all or the fact that it did happen in its weird way. To be blunt, I don’t like it whatsoever and I have several reasons why and a decent ton of examples proving them(this not only goes for Lazuli and Speed but also Silvia and Speed at the same time but the ladder might come a little later).

So before anyone that does ship these two or three assassinates me for whatever reason you feel like taking it this far because I say your ship is not good, do me at least the small favor and read through this before the assassination attempt…or just, scroll past this.

Also, I'm not holding it against EV for the writing and having to be forced to set them up together but I don't think enough people realize just how bad the relationship is written to be which I'll be showing a lot of examples for this.

This is will be the first post/part of my rant and it'll mainly focus on Lazuli's treatment of Speed from the start and onward. There are more I want to get to which I can't in this post because there are a few limitations like the amount of images but I'll get to them later.

Now, without further to do, let’s begin.

Starting with Speed/Lazuli:

Let’s start with the basic reason why I don’t like it which is shown in the comics pretty frequently and it’s the constant physical violence that Lazuli commits against Speed. For me, it’s problematic when the first thing that pops up in my mind when thinking about this relationship is just Lazuli hitting Speed and beating him up throughout the whole comic. I understand she has this tsundere trope but here’s the issue, or rather the issue I have with it, it doesn’t make sense nor do I support hurting others, especially those that you supposedly love which is where the trope is often found. But it goes a little further for Lazuli’s case where it’s confirmed that for the first few months(or at least a decently long time), Lazuli did hate Speed which also means that those punches were genuine either from embarrassment, pettiness, or just an argument that Lazuli 99% of the time turns physical.

Speaking of examples, here's a list of them:

I'm willing to give her an "out" for this one as it could be chalked up as accidental as Lazuli quickly apologizes for running over Speed, thinking he's just some random Pokémon in the way.

Lazuli insults him the first time they truly meet, keep this in mind.

Personally, Speed is in the right here, given what we see, Lazuli bumps into Speed, quickly says "sorry" and runs off. Then once Speed comments on it being "a bit late" and that he almost fainted, Lazuli insults him by calling him weak(she has no idea how wrong she is).

Afterward, her way of an apology to this new individual(Speed) is just demanding forgiveness and when Speed shoots back, Lazuli escalates it to a punch already starting their streak of Speed beatdowns which is going to be consistently happening throughout the comic to some degree.

Previous to this exact moment(Chapter 1), Speed calls her nasty but this time is more of muttering to himself as he doesn't yell it out, Leaf doesn't notice this leading me to assume that Speed didn't intend for it to be heard. Again, Lazuli escalated this to physical violence.

Despite it, this is the moment where the ship began in most heads I believe. However, if you look at it from the context and see what's being displayed here, Lazuli is embarrassed and Speed looks disgusted, and even if you count Lazuli's blush as flustered or a hint that she may have liked it, Speed's reaction does not at all show that at all.

Speaking of that moment previously, we see the aftermath and there are bandages wrapped around his ears, head, and sides of his head, and on other panels, we see his chest and possibly stomach. Keep these moments in mind.

Surprisingly, Lazuli makes an effort to apologize but then she demands an apology from Speed which he rightfully questions as it isn't his fault for anything that happened and he was also the one getting beaten up for it. Then Lazuli straight up threatens to take that apology back which hints that she might not be truly sorry or she's pretty good at giving a reason for Speed to not like her.

Not only that, a small thing to notice is that in the previous page, Lazuli gets up and close to Speed, Speed is on the ground and the ball hits Lazuli on the back of the head causing the damage Speed took. Although I would agree it's accidental, Lazuli is more or less the one that set them up like that.

Now imagine yourself in his position, someone that had beaten the crap out of you for them getting knocked into you, which led to you both kissing on accident(somehow), finally apologizing later that night. But then imagine they demand an apology from you even if you did nothing wrong and if you refuse, they raise an arm to beat you up again. Sounds like they're not truly sorry and just want forgiveness because, in reality, they don't truly care as much. Of course, some may make the argument that they don't know each other but that's the issue, this is how they started off and it'll continue on for longer which makes the ship problematic but let's continue.

I'll be also doing these examples to try to put it in the perspective of Speed because this is what he would be thinking and experiencing if this was real life.

Special Chapter 8, before Lazuli had any feelings(doesn't change much regardless).

Kris straight up jumps on Speed to wake him up, however, the difference between instances with Lazuli and instances with Kris is that while Lazuli gives Speed injuries bad enough to give limbs wrapped with bandages, Kris at her worst seems to just give Speed a mean awakening but otherwise, he's completely fine.

Meanwhile Lazuli:

Another punch to the face hard enough to give Speed a nosebleed, all in front of Sunshine by the way.

She also quickly assumed that Speed was being a creep even though all he did(and he explained) was he was just waking her up. Also, Lazuli clearly did not notice Sunshine standing there as it would quickly disprove the likelihood of Speed planning something since his adopted daughter is standing right there.

That would be correct.

Alright then, some may argue that Lazuli didn't have a crush on Speed back then and that's why she was most aggressive with him/those moments don't count. Now, it's established she does now like him romantically or at least interested. You would think she would begin to change her ways as so far, she's been doing nothing but hurting him physically, right?

Let's see how she's doing after this reveal:

You are right about that alright.

If you look closely, Speed is tearing up, that is how hard he got hit in the head for just simply forgetting that he promised Lazuli to take her to the bookstore (which he does later that day with Silvia).

Because Speed is not aware that Lazuli has a crush on him(which is fair, why would he assume that when so far she continued to hurt him), in his perspective, Lazuli is going from hurting him throughout the months to now attacking others. This is also one of the only times Lazuli aims at someone else besides Speed...which I'll get to later.

Speed then apologizes for rightfully snapping at her and Lazuli turns down the flowers, which in his perspective, is just a decline of a apology gift which is way more effort than Lazuli had ever shown so far.

With more Speed abuse, he is getting cornered and integrated by Lazuli who is assuming too quickly, Silvia is messing with Speed with the "big brother thing", and now others are judging him for it because of these two.

Speed truly is just getting screwed over half the time and a lot of the times is from Lazuli or others which eventually lead to another beatdown.

Flashback to their earlier times, keep in mind, this is what Speed sees and remembers. One of them is a reference to chapter one and it's just showing Lazuli beating the crap out of him by...banging his head or more punches, either way, it's something that Speed will certainly remember.

Lazuli...complains that Speed didn't take the punch.

Also, it has apparently become so common for Speed to get hurt by Lazuli that everyone else including Speed's siblings is not even slightly bothered by it.

Besides one time with Silvia, so far in the comic, Lazuli had not attacked anyone else besides Speed. She feels bad because everyone else is being nice to her which could mean that nobody(but Leaf sort of) has directly called her out on it in these past months which also means Speed had been getting punched, beamed, etc. without anyone stepping in truly besides a few rare times.

Anyway, this is another thing that happened in Special Chapter 8, this is how they started off and continued to be after the first day. Also, once again, Lazuli escalates an argument to physical violence.

This is so far one of the more truly friendly interactions between the two and this is also around the moment where Lazuli develops feelings for him. A bit too bad that she didn't change her treatment afterward as much.

But I will give this moment some props as it shows that they don't have to be hate each other and that they can in fact get along if both sides want to. This also shows Speed's character as being this older brother/parent figure to most which I'll get to later.

One last punch...should've been done a while ago.

Now of course, others could argue that all of these times where Speed gets hit is because it's just a "funny gag", or since Speed is level 98, he'll be fine so it doesn't matter, or the fact that's it's not just straight up physical abuse(which it is).

But I disagree on all three of these reasonings, this "funny gag" that is presented happens so often where it doesn't become funny if it ever was and it just becomes uncomfortable to watch or read. Also, the fact that Lazuli later in the comic feels guilt and Speed in this exact panel yells about the abuse seems to already show that all of those punches were not forgotten about and it shouldn't be forgotten about. Not only that, for other shows or pieces of fiction that presents abusing the main character or...any character, a decent ton of them doesn't include injuries bad enough where bandages are needed and don't happen as often as it does in Eeveelution Squad. Seriously, until like the last four chapters, the only chapter that Lazuli does not hurt Speed in was like Chapter 3(Speed did expect a punch to come showing how that's his first response).

Secondly, the fact that he's level 98 or "should be fine" doesn't excuse on what Lazuli did throughout the whole comic. She still clearly was hurting him and he reacted to all of it negatively.

Even EV themself agreed and talked about how this sort of relationship would not ever work in real life and should not have worked even in the comic, that the only reason why Lazuli got her wish come true is that because the fans wanted it so badly.

Speaking about the fans, all I hope is that throughout the years that Eeveelution Squad was cut short and cancelled the reboot, there was time to think and mature(or maybe you just don't care anymore which is fair). Even if you support it the relationship or not, all I hope is that this gave you some other perspective to consider.

Although I have more to say like Speed's feelings later on, I'll say it in a different post but I will end this portion off like this(I still have Silvia and other examples in Eeveelution Squad to cook up as well as other thoughts), in the comic from Speed's perspective. They first meet on a bad start and they quickly despise each other, throughout the months in Speed's perspective, Lazuli mainly targets and physically hurts him for a variety of small reasons and assumptions. Nearly every interaction involves a punch to the face. This goes on for months straight and Speed of course would not think that Lazuli might have romantic feelings for him later on, because why would he? If she did, why does she keep trying to hurt him? If this was real life, if someone keeps hitting you for small reasons, the last thing you would think is that they have a crush on you.

I think it's fair to say that we should start normalizing being respectful and caring to those we might have romantic feelings for instead of being rude or be physically violent with and that is something EV had expressed when they discussed the issues with Lazuli and Speed.

All of this is not really about hating the writing and wished a different ending and all of that as I'm sure others already expressed that well enough but rather, I think not enough people understand and I also felt like expressing my opinions.

It could have worked sort of if Lazuli was aggressive toward everyone instead of primarily Speed in the comic and she began developing feelings for Speed as she realizes that despite all of her treatment toward him, he still tried to be respectful and caring because that's who he is unlike others who still don't like her. But also in the same time, her treatment of others and especially of Speed shows a lot more in the consequences. Like Speed might be able to forgive Lazuli but decides to not share her feelings because her actions still happened and he isn't going to forget months of that treatment quickly.

If I had to give a quick writing suggestion for anyone(and also myself), try to treat characters like humans, it's okay for it to be fictional but have some relatable real-life aspects that makes the audience be able to understand how or why a character is struggling or what challenges they face. It's okay to mess up in your first attempt in a story, or your second or third, as long as you use what you learned from the last one to improve the current one, then write till your content.

Now anyway, back to working on Silvia later as I said, there is a LOT more I can talk about.
