InHo is an absolute intense mess. Like the level of being willing to get himself shot just to keep making GiHun believe they’re soulmates who’ve found each other in the middle of death games? Joining trials where it’s not entirely likely he’ll make it out alive just so he can talk to the guy he’s been obsessed with for years? Risking the stability of the games themselves just to get close enough to stare at GiHun so intensely that everyone around feels uncomfortable?

I don’t know if this is the most romantic plot I’ve ever heard or just another standard unresolved homosexual tension drama, but the fact that this middle-aged man with severe emotional issues can’t stop obsessing over some idealistic fool for three years—and can’t handle his emotions in any way other than risking his own life to break the humanity of his object of desire—has been my Roman Empire for days and I just can’t escape it.
