I keep neglecting to post art... But here's some Ex-Aid art I finished yesterday. (Plus closeups of their eyes because it might be hard to see the lil detail I put in there ahahaha) I actually have a bunch of traditional art to scan because the last couple of months it's all I've been able to draw... (As well as all the stuff before that, that keeps piling up whoops) I just, used the gradient tool mixing up the Mighty Brothers orange and teal, Para-DX's red and blue and Ex-Aid's pink with Muteki's gold and somehow made a rainbow lol

I tried but not very hard to see what the anniversary date was, and i decided to just prepare myself for the 16th or the 18th... it was the former. so, as always, but this time truly by accident... happy belated 17th birthday Black Butler!! I truly hope this year is amazing for us.

this year, I decided to use an idea I had wanted to try for a while but I never thought I would be able to pull off. and I still probably couldn't in the best way.... but regardless, here is a made up last chapter scenario.

#artists on tumblr #art #illustration #my art #digital art #digital drawing #my ocs #noah #oc art #You know that feeling when you're touch starved as all hell so when someone does touch you the feeling sticks around for hours after?#yeah that #with a side of Noah running away from what he REALLY wants but can't allow himself to keep #meaning he's then repeatedly shocked to realise he does in fact end up missing Martin every time he runs off #i'm still having a lot of fun experimenting with some new stuff #really happy with how this one came out though #i think i finally nailed that balance between texture and smoothness i've been trying to achieve for a while now #at the core of these experimets is the hunt for the style i have in mind for a future comic project #and i think this is very close to what i'm after #I want to use pop-art elements like these more as well #those bold colourful outlines and haphazard shapes slapped on top of things #messing with gouache on the side is genuinely helping me think differently when i paint digitally which is very neat #loving the process so far and excited to see what new skills i can learn from this

#I have been asked this question in the past and it always makes me feel like I'm losing my mind.#I would ask if you've never opened up MS Paint before but I remembered that's a very real possibility #So many people don't have computers and still do digital art and that is not a world I am familiar with...#IDK. MS Paint pencil tool smallest size. 1 pixel wide binary brush. Sometimes called dot brush in certain programs.#Ohh the march of time.#I suppose the texture of pixel brushes would look interesting if you learned to draw on a phone or tablet #It's really strange to think of the association with low quailty art as fading away...#Most people who use MS Paint (or emulate that look) do it on purpose now

LEO: I’ve mostly been bugging some of the older einherjar, and Hunding, a little bit, to figure this place out.
