Mmm I'm thinking of making a ref sheet for the Sun and Moon designs I keep changing around. One idea I definitely want to keep the Pom-pom on the night cap, but that replaces the iconic bell.
So here's the deal:
What should the Pom-Pom be?
Just a really soft and fuzzy pom-pom? Should it have a squeaker to act almost like a stress toy? Or should it have a bell inside still, just with a fuzzy exterior? If not enough people vote I'll just figure it out myself, butttt it sounds fun to get other's opinions :)

something i can't stop thinking about is the fact that Percy Jackson started as a comfort story for Rick's son to show him that his adhd and dyslexia doesn't have to be just a bad thing and the fandom then took Percy and Leo and made them into these stupid idiots that don't even know basic math or "big" words and wouldn't be able to even tie their shoelaces without someone else's (someone smarter's) help
don't yall see how fucked up that is? a big part of this fandom has adhd and/or dyslexia and/or other learning disabilities/neurodivergence and find comfort in those characters. they are called lazy and stupid all the time and then yall decided to take characters with those disabilities and ignore their inteligence and made them into something they are not just because their adhd is more "visible" (read more stereotypical looking) (even tho that's not true either because the fandom made them into chaotic gremlins but in reality Percy is more just sarcastic and snarky and even that is more just his internal monologue for his own amusment and to cope and Leo just uses humor as a coping mechanism to hide his depression and other issues but that's a discussion for another time)
Percy is canonically very smart and strategic. no he isn't very good at school. it's what happens when you're neurodivergent and have learning disabilities. that doesn't mean he's stupid. no he doesn't know everything about greek mythology and that doesn't make him stupid either. but when Annabeth tells him the myth he is very good at coming up with strategies and how to win a fight. he's not smart as Annabeth because Annabeth is literally a daughter of the goddess of wisdom so stop fucking comparing them. are you also going to call Annabeth weak and incapable because she can't control water? no you won't because that's fucking stupid. and Leo. fucking Leo. is literally canonically a mathematic genius and also genius when it comes building stuff. they're both smart. they're not fucking stupid. they know and understand words that are longer than 5 letters. no they do not struggle with basic knowledge. they're not fucking stupid.
and miss me with the "it's just a joke" bullshit
jokes are supposed to be funny
and it's not just a joke for many of you because the number of fanfics where they are written in exactly this way is too fucking high. it's actually surprising to find a fanfic where they are written right
in conclusion: the way this fandom portrays Percy and Leo is reinforcing the harmful misconception that people with adhd and/or other learning disabilities are stupid and i hate it with a burning passion
call me sensitive all you want i'll gladly accept it i will rather be called sensitive for hating that those characters are being treated this way than follow the fandoms harmful idea about them
thank you for coming to my ted talk <3

He has no idea he's like a daughter to me. My middle aged male daughter
ASIT is making me real sad and lately I have been spending every waking hour thinking about nothing but Elim Garak
I have also been reading this wonderful fic by Cucumbermoon and it is making me sadder but it's beautifully written and very good https://archiveofourown.org/works/30310065 I am very enthusiastic to read the sequel once I am finished (it is possibly correlated to the fact I am menstruating as of current but I cried multiple times while reading so. Really good!!!)

my experience with maxing out the twins' friendship is just-
Hawke: So, Carver, my dear baby brother who I love and adore, I only need +10 more points to max out your friendship. I've done the grind; through gritted teeth I've kissed templar ass so that we don't raise suspicion. I've supported and defended you and let you take the lead whenever I could. You're my favorite warrior. I took you to the Deep Roads with me because you desperately wanted to go and then made you a warden and you found a place, a purpose. I've practically written my own guide on how to earn as much friendship with you because I love you and it's totally worth it so can I please please have the last +10...?
Carver:
Hawke: Carver please I'm begging you
Carver:
Carver: +5 Friendship
Hawke: AAUUGGGHHLKSAJDLKAJSDLK-
Hawke: So, Bethany, my dear sis-
Bethany: +50 Friendship
Hawke:
Bethany: :)

I just finished watching Hannibal for the first time and I’m having emotions (I’m not okay, help)
Will had such a chill life after everything that had happened to him. A nice life, a simple one, some might say. Then Hannibal came back into it, all went to shit... or did it?
Will could have chosen not to get involved with the FBI again. He could have chosen not to get in the car with Hannibal in the end. But he went with him. He chose him over the simplicity he might have had a chance to go back to in some way.
But in truth, he didn't have much of a choice. He went with him because he needed to. Because he was too deep in the whole thing again. Because the Dragon was still free and alive. Because Hannibal would have gotten away and Will would not have had peace in his life either way. Because the side of him that needed Hannibal was awake again. Because they understood each other in a way that nobody did before they met.
"When life becomes maddeningly polite, think about me", Hannibal had said. He coaxed that part back out of Will that Will had tried to bury over the years.
Will's whispered "it's beautiful" about the life he and Hannibal could have had. Seeing beauty in what he had tried to ignore but in some way still wanted.
This was not about winning each other over anymore, or helping each other become a "better version" of themselves; each with their own perception of what better means. This was acceptance of the impossibility to cut each other out. There was acceptance and relief in their hug in the end, the way they clung to each other. There was Will's final acceptance of it all, of himself, in the fall. They fell for each other in whichever way that might have been. They fell with each other because it was the only way left to be together at this point.
