Platonic 'Elements Cave' Scenes

Here's what you get if you take the diamond scene in Book 3, Chapter 6 and keep things platonic. The romantic options are good too, don't get me wrong, but I love that we're getting the chance to get extra one-on-one friend time! Everybody needs it. Badly.

i 100% agree (the tv series ghoul has ears, even! how dare they!) but i guess it's close enough to the fallout 4 ghouls; my worst expectation was basically just noseless make-up and a bad tan. i'd like to see it in different lighting before really making a call on it but i really wish they gave him nastier teeth though and those black eyes

personally i like how wet the FO3/NV ghouls look but I figure that Frank Cotton-esque goop and decay was either out of the budget or too off-putting to feature too heavily

But yeah... the fandom reaction (especially when this first premiered) acting like Astrid is in the wrong/OOC because she [checks notes] dared to express dissatisfaction with her relationship with the man she's engaged to was super fucked up.

I'll say it: Astrid deserves better treatment from the fandom.

This fandom has been so annoying about her since the beginning. Since she dared [checks notes] kiss Hiccup's cheek after Romantic Flight. And it's always couched in ways that pretend to be progressive and feminist, but it's... just... kinda not.

Astrid is allowed to be both badass and have feelings.
