I MOST CERTAINLY DO!!

I'm not quite as crazy about polyvbs as I am about other full unit ships but I like them a lot. :) I really like that vbs goes from two very distinct pairs who decide to work together to achieve the same goal to an extremely passionate and loving team that is deeply devoted to each other and making sure they all cross the finish line hand in hand.

I also really like that they have a lot of different dynamics within the group! toyahane are the newcomers, antoya have musical backgrounds, akian struggle with inferiority issues regarding their partners, akikoha feel as though they have to work doubly hard to even stand on the same stage as the others ... there's a lot of stuff to dig into further than the core duos and it's cool to see the parallels between the less-highlighted pairs.

it also did not escape me that the core theme of the vbs stories is love and community and the fact that they're finally able to surpass rad weekend is because they're channeling the love that nagi had for this city and its people (including each other) through them ... I already know over rad squad is gonna make me cry when I read it lol

have you seen that theory about vbs not being the original owners of their sekai, and if so what are your thoughts about it?

i stared at this post for a few minutes wondering if you were talking about a post that was written by me and then i checked twitter and a post about RADder being the original owners popped up on my fyp so i'm assuming that's what you're talking about (also i realised that my post is. still in my drafts).

yeah anyway i do agree with that theory. kinda. The Street SEKAI is mentioned multiple times in the initial cards to have been around for a while, though this could be referring to the fact that SEKAI take time to grow before they manifest fully to the owners (think about School and Wonderland SEKAI, which probably took years to reveal themselves). But it could also imply that someone else contributed to the SEKAI before VBS. I actually talk about the theory briefly in that first linked post, so we'll continue from there.

so I don't think it was RADder. And yeah basically my only reason is that they're too old. MEIKO was released in 2006, considering the only date mentioned in the game is (Autumn) 2021, this is after An was born, when RADder was already pretty successful. Also we don't know enough about SEKAI physics to confirm this, but Miku seems to be more important than MEIKO so maybe space-time wasn't broken until 2007, and RADder is probably even more successful at that point because of the CDs they recorded when An was a baby.

the SEKAI just doesn't work in the time frame. What we know is that the Street SEKAI was formed by dreams and aspiration. Which is kinda the case for most SEKAI but Street SEKAI was more specifically formed by the passion its creators have for these dreams. and while RADder had big dreams to be top musicians in the world and was passionate about that, they were like realistically never gonna achieve that, but also they were at a point where they were doing very well and were very successful and on their way there. they didn't really need the help from Miku as much as VBS needs it.

Now the way Nagi talks about some things in Light Up the Fire definitely could be read a certain way, especially when she talks about passing on RADder's dream to the kids in the audience at RW, but I still don't think RADder being the original owners entirely works. Honestly the easiest point to argue for that claim is that the Street SEKAI has a very strong attachment to RAD WEEKEND, which on the one hand could be part of the fact that Taiga very clearly never moved past it and never fully processed the death of his sister, but it makes a lot more sense to be a trait tied to the people who aspire to surpass it. also MEIKO outright says that's why the attachment to RW is there in her initial 2*.

However,

I don't think it's entirely out of the question for some of the other side characters to have an influence over the Street SEKAI. As I've mentioned, the SEKAI has a strong attachment to RW, and all of them have the same goal of surpassing the event. Also the 4 older VSingers in the SEKAI (MEIKO, KAITO, Luka, Miku) all takes traits from the members of RADder. Which makes a lot of sense for the main mentor figures in the SEKAI to be based on the people that the kids look up to.

There is an argument to be made though that they gave up on their dreams to easily. In LUTF, Taiga decides to crush all their dreams and Tatsuya (+ his group), Arata and Kotaro all leave, like, they just give up while (an admittedly very shaken) VBS sticks with their dream.

Tatsuya and EVER leave because all this time they'd been just carrying on until they eventually saw victory, but after taking a beating from Taiga, they realised that there's some things that you won't be able to overcome and give up.

Arata leaves because even though he has skill, Taiga was able to get through to his weakness - Souma. Taiga realises that Arata has experienced a similar loss and grief to he did, and although Arata is trying to carry Souma's dream on his behalf, Taiga knows from experience that Arata is just clinging on to Souma's dream as a way of coping with his loss, rather than actually trying to uphold it (basically he calls him selfish). Arata isn't able to argue back, feels a lot of guilt over that, and leaves.

Kotaro is like. particularly interesting and also most eligible for Miku therapy. He's genuinely really scared and overwhelmed by Taiga's challenge, and gives a poor performance when he has to stand up to him, and straight up gets called shit and weak by Taiga and the audience. Dead serious. Afterwards he literally has a breakdown, calls himself an idiot for not being able to sing and then goes on about how he's shit at everything and apologises because should've given up ages ago because all he's ever done is drag everyone else down before literally running away and DAMN do I hope he gets development on that in the Toya event.

all things considered i'd honestly say that all of them to some degree could've contributed to the formation of the SEKAI, Souma included (honestly he seems the most passionate about it even though he was forced to give up). all of them were passionate about it but then there's always the fact that they all gave up really easily, although they were reluctant. that said, toya did the same thing in the main story so...

Although,

There's still an argument that the Street SEKAI was just formed by the four of VBS, and Kohane was just the final piece of the puzzle that made it reveal itself. Three passionate people who are wholeheartedly devoted to their dream and one ordinary girl who wants to do something that she can dedicate herself to and feel passionate about. inverse MMJ if you will. fate is probably canon in project sekai also like i've mentioned this a few times before so that could play a part in all this.

but come to think of it, the sekai doesn't even reveal itself to Akito and Toya until really late in the main story. supposedly they still heavily influenced it but that's a bit... odd? don't you think? like the only other times that happens is N25 and WxS, wherein the SEKAI was made by only one person and let the others in later, but this was a SEKAI that was supposedly made by all 4 of them. so if you think about it hard enough, could the street sekai maybe do that again?

Also,

Nagi is very important to the VBS story and lore despite the fact that she was very obviously written in much later in development. Going back to the fate thing, at RW she states that since RADder is over and she's over, she now has a new dream, that being that she wants the next generation to be inspired by what they achieved and carry on their legacy. While when she says that, she's talking about An and Akito in the audience at RW, it's stated multiple times that the "next generation" includes all of VBS, and all the side characters. so yeah, the fate thing. I doubt the game will ever do anything about it since they're side characters, but I think it can be argued that they contributed to the SEKAI a bit.

i wrote this in so many increments and in the wrong order and now it lacks any cohesion whatsoever and i have no idea what i'm even saying at this point and i think i sort of proved it and disproved it simultaneously but like. yeah. it's an alright theory. i have some thoughts on it.

Toys grabbed his microphone a little bit tighter, so that it doesn't somehow fall out of his hands. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths and nodded. An pushed the play button on her phone that was connected to the speaker. She quickly put it away and ran on the stage, standing right next to Toya. She was still trying to find her microphone even after the song had started. While Tota remained in the same position to calm himself.

It was weird for both of them to practice all alone. But Akito and Kohane decided to go their way and nobody could really stop them. This whole week was a complete mess. Not that Toya didn't like to spend time with An! Not that he didn't like An. Well, he didn't. Well he did.

His thoughts started to spiral as he desperately tried to also listen to the sound cues as to when he was supposed to sing.

He missed the first beat, off to a great start. And then An started singing. She was sparkling. He could see it even in his emotional mess. This was probably what Kohane was often referring to.

She was so carefree, free. Toya envied that more than anything else. To so freely pursue your goals. One of the skills he lacked.

He missed another entrance and needed to quickly catch up. But he didn't really. This whole thing was a mess. His head was in a completely different space. An seemed to notice it too. She was looking curiously over her shoulder at Toya. She probably didn't know if she should ask what's wrong.

She probably thought he was weird and he should get over it. He should not care. Everyone fights sometimes, right? That's nothing special. He's no one special. He should just get better. Forget it. Not care.

"Toya!"

He heard An's voice. It was pretty distant. When he finally found the courage to open his eyes he saw that he grew so drastically. He was kneeling and barely fitting inside the room. Any more meters and he would break the rooftop. And cause everyone trouble. God, what a disappointment he is.

After this thought he grew a bit. He panicked. He needed to find a way to stop it fast. Now. He moved a bit to the back but ended up placing his hand on a microphone, completely crushing it. He panicked further.

There must be a way. A quick one. He needs to find it. Tears started forming in his eyes as he desperately tried to think of a way to change his size. While also being horrified since he was constantly growing.

"Toya please... I'll help you!" An yelled. Even through the tears in his eyes, Toya could see the determination on her face. "But I need you to cooperate!"

Toya, scared of what might happen if he grows even a bit more, nodded. An quickly made her way to the speaker. She started to look something up. It took her a bit but Toya fully trusted her. She must have a plan. She always does. An is the one to do something stupid that turns out to be helpful. That's just who she is. He shrunk a bit.

It didn't manage to escape An's eyes. As she was scrolling through her playlist on the phone she started a small talk.

"You know, Akito's gonna be pissed once he finds out you are this taller than him now" She chuckled.

Toya, even in this tense situation found himself laughing a bit at her words. He shrunk again. This time he noticed it. That must be An's plan. He thought he should maybe find a way to help but... Looking at An's happy and determined face he decided to leave himself completely in her care.

"Yeah! And Kohane won't talk to you either. You know how scared she gets if someone's bigger than her!" She made a fake disappointed face.

"She's scared of me even when I'm... You know... Smaller"

"Yeah. And how will you surpass Rad Weekend if you don't even fit the stage?" She scolded him jokingly.

"I don't know!" He laughed loudly.

In a blink of an eye he shrunk down just like he wanted initially. The tears in his face fell down but not from sadness, but laughter. He was so happy he didn't break anything, he looked over at the microphone, that valuable.

But even before he could properly stand up An fell on top of him, hugging him tightly. He was confused at first but then he felt some tears falling on the back of his hoodie.

"You idiot" Her tone of voice was angry. At least he could make out this much because she was crying a lot.

He caused her so much stress. He must pay back for the help somehow.

"I was so worried" She finished and hugged Toya even tighter, almost suffocating him.

He stopped his thoughts for a moment. This... This was what he maybe wanted to hear.

He definitely needs to repay for the microphone and for the help but for now he just wanted to hug her tightly and not let go.

VBS "The First Concerto" Event Story Summary

Feature : VBS members + Ken + Harumichi (Touya's father) + Souta + Mida + Arata

Summary (Twitter) :

Summary (Mine) : Story started around the same time with Akito centric story here, while Akito tasked to spread VBS recognition, Touya tasked to create a song contains everyone personality. So as Touya too earnest somehow (lol), he interview the other three just like 4-koma here.

He try to create and slumped somehow, asked his father some advice and just tell Touya that his songs doesn't have a pride on it since past Touya already running away from classic music and knowing that Touya regret it because he can't do anything about it...

PS : I kinda suprise Touya VA screaming similar like Ena...

Hearing Touya scream, his father console him by saying his 12 years classic music isn't all about regret and running away but can make his own street-classic new song.

After finish making the music, he show it to VBS and Souma then declare VBS gonna surpass Rad Weekend in their next event

With this story, I'm sure An and Kohane centric story will spin around their next event preparation just like this one.

Card Time and Place :

Scene around the time Touya still gathering information to create a song, Touya asked Kaito advice for it

Scene after Touya overthinking his songmaking jobs and almost collapse at Sekai. Meiko find him at ways to cafe and asked him to drink water and rest a bit.

Scene after Touya got courage by his father words, he finally make a song which can surpass Rad Weekend.

Rarity : I don't remember An doing something except interview things at 4-koma so I kinda lament not getting 4* Kaito here (lol). On other side, this is the first time as I remember that any Akito/Touya VBS centric event that doesn't have the other one as 4*

Sophisticated feels theme card I guess, but it didn't attract my eyes so easy skip for me~

Hey, saw your Prsk Unit Shuffle AU and am very interested in seeing more.

In particular, I'm interested in hearing more about how the groups formed. It's always neat to see how these characters first meet and interact under different circumstances. And, as a little bonus, maybe what their "Untitled"/theme song is, because I feel like that's a very key part of a unit's identity that tends to be overlooked.

GASP HELLO I LOVE TALKING ABOUT MY UNIT SHUFFLE AU im so sorry this too forever to get u back on!! schoolwork is a pain and then i went SHOPPING (which takes forever :sob:)

okok so i haven't really thought about all the details of how they get together? so bear with me this is a rough draft lol

SSS: the idea at the core of this group is that its a family with different strengths coming together to make music. so tsukasa is the scriptwriter, saki is the lyricist, toya is the choreographer, and kanade is the composer! the group is headed by tsukasa, who's actually been putting on these shows for all of them since he was a kid. as he got older, he started taking stardom more seriously (leading into canon), but an incident in middle school ended up with the tenmas legally adopting toya, so that definitely shook things up for tsukasa (in a good way!). so i think that (+ l/n not reforming, which does happen in the SSS main story) allowed tsukasa and saki to consider banding their strengths together, since tsukasa loved putting on shows and saki loved seeing them, but she would also help put them on for toya (and later kanade, when she joins them not long after toya does). the two of them very quickly realize that they need more hands, and although recruiting kanade as composer is easy (bc 25ji never forms- dont ask why im still figuring that out lol) toya is a lot harder bc he's still active under BAD DOGS with akito. however, with akito picking up AWR around the same time (+ hatsune freaking miku appearing to toya), toya does join under their choreographer as for their untitled, their song is Wonderland and the Sheep's Song by Hachi, but I worked out their line distributions to this lovely KYO cover! you can see my color-coded lyrics for them here if you're interested :)

R/l: im gonna be 100% honest with you SSS and AWR are the only ones with any semblance of a plot rn LOL but here's the base idea around R/l: mizuki and rui both congregate on the kami school rooftop bc, yknow, loners (mizuki is never reached out to by kanamafu, so not 25ji on their part. tsukasa doesnt end up applying for phoenix so wxs doesn't have a chance of forming). at some point, i imagine they got talking about music, but never did anything concrete. but not long into the main story (probably the very start) an also joins them, her dream of surpassing rad weekend getting weaker as she struggles to find a partner (koha will be explained later) so she goes to hang with her friend on the rooftop. at some point, mizu and an both accidentally enter sekai, where they meet miku and len. those two tell them that there's still two others they need to find because they also made the sekai. mizu and an get.... maybe a little too excited over this. an takes this chance to invite her friend haruka over to kami (so she transfers) and join the group, but in their search for their fourth member they end up accidentally alienating rui (ironic). they fix that tho-- although HOW i dont know lol their untitled was one i went back and forth on (tbh only SSS and AWR i didnt lol), but i eventually decided on Untitled Hymn by shaito! their color-coded lyrics are here (i just realized you can barely tell where an is in lines but ehhh)

ATD is the group thats given the most gosh-darn trouble. ive revised their cast motivations like, TWICE now. but basically it goes like this: shizuku and mafuyu are both members of the archery club, with mafuyu trusting shizuku so much that her public mask slips a couple of times (against her will). shizuku's not dumb, but she doesn't say anything bc i think she understands that mafu has her secrets. after shizuku quits being an idol (on more of her own terms), she still wants to find a way to share the light she had before that seemed to reach mafu a few times. enter: accidental sekai trip! this trip both gives shizu the idea for an online group (which could sorta count as MMJ but i think the big distinction is they do more streamer/vtuber stuff and less purely idol stuff?? im still working on that) and lets her see mafu with her mask fully off. eventually, shizu drags nene into the business (nene never attends kami here, workin on that) bc shizu and mafu have no idea how streaming works and nene does, but nene likes hiding behind the camera but is still a part of the group bc who can say no to shizu? and hona joins at shizu's request bc they're both beautification members (and apparently hona+mafu are both honors students so i wonder if they have some overlap?? can you tell ive never attended public school lol) their untitled gave me SO MUCH TROUBLE. because ATD is supposed to be a weird mix of 25ji and mmj? but all of their songs get swiped by either R/l, AWR, or even SSS, so it was hard to find something that i thought could be specifically them. eventually, i finally decided on Common World Domination by PinocchioP! MxC: oh boy this one's a doozy. so the idea here is like... there are underground music rings? which sounds wild but like if music is vaguely the lifeblood of this world i DONT CARE it can happen! i don't wanna make it life-threatening tho so its more like... you get blacklisted from everything. which for shiho--who got sucked into this world in an attempt to find bandmates--is VERY BAD. but shiho's given a little bit to find a band before their first performance, but with l/n definitely gone their separate ways (and she never wanted to involve them in the first place) she's kinda stuck. enter: airi and ena! both of them had been watching the music battles, unsatisfied with their current lives (airi having just quit idol/tv work, ena just frustrated over her art), but airi knows shiho thru miya, and when she heard about shiho's impending doom, she resolved herself to very quickly learn guitar and join her group, roping ena (who has a little bit of drum experience from akito and mom) into it as well. meanwhile, while all of this is going on, kohane (being the sweet soul she is) has been trailing shiho out of concern, but then is entirely horrified at the underground battles bc shes still pre-canon meek. but she really wants to help shiho, so she agrees to try and learn keyboard. after clearing the first battle, shiho and her group are safe--for now. they'll have to clear a lot more battles if they want to escape the underground their untitled is Hello Builder by UtsuP since i wanted them to have harsher rock songs than l/n (bordering on metal-ish)! color-coded lyrics here :)

AWR: funny story--all of the above units were made in the order listed! so i got to AWR and... i have ichika, minori, emu, and akito. and im like "NONE OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE ANYTHING IN COMMON". and then i went. "WAIT. THATS IT!" so here's how AWR goes: ichika still tries to reform l/n, but fails; minori is still trying to become an idol; and emu is still trying to revive the wonder stage. all three of them, all attending miya ofc, end up bonding over this and they start thinking. is there a way to satisfy all three of their dreams (band, idol, and show) at once? and at FIRST the answer is "no lol" so they go exploring. and somehow someway (workin on that) word finds out about this and some guy on vivid street dares akito to try and fix em into shape in a week. akito--being akito--accepts quite hotheadedly, then quickly realizes that maybe this wasnt a good idea?? because EVERYONE has a different music taste and its almost impossible to keep up with them all!!! but eventually they do figure it all out, and by the end none of them wanted to split apart or anything. AWR is i think the group that has the least amount of direction which might be on purpose. i think (again im rambling rn so) part of their story is figuring out what their direction is going to be! their untitled is Lip Sync by DECO*27, written as a part of holo*27 (hi no im not rlly into vtubers i just like their music) but i count it bc its written by a voca producer and this would not be the first time a non-vocaloid sung a unit song (cough cough mafumafu and tuyu). you CAN find my color-coded lyrics here.... but i did the translations. which means they're pretty much 98% google translated then bonked around to make sense. i dont know japanese please dont sue me

okay I just realised a thing and I have VBS thoughts (also Idk anything about On Your Feet aside from the card designs and the plot blurb so please don't spoil me)

So the true feeling/driving force behind VBS' SEKAI. I'm probably wrong on this, but after double checking episode 20:

"We wanted to put on the best event we can". Nothing about RAD WEEKEND specifically.

Sure, all of them share the same dream of surpassing RAD WEEKEND, but what they want deep down is to put on the best event they can.

I feel like On Your Feet could be their arc ender, so what if their next arc is them realising that they don't have to surpass RAD WEEKEND at all? They could decide that just because they can't surpass it right now doesn't mean they have to. They can just do their own thing instead!

Because yeah, there are some things that you just can't be better than. And that's fine. Because you can just do your own thing.

And not gonna lie, that kind of arc for them would be really lovely to see.

Ken, An, Kohane & Akito:

I'm gonna go ahead and say right now, this is akito-centric. Like, Akito has a found family relationship with Ken, An and Kohane, but those three don't necessarily have a found family relationship with each other. An and Kohane are basically dating, Ken is Ab's biological father, and idk Kohane to Ken is just his daughter's girlfriend

ANYWAY. so Akito has an older sister named ena and their dad sucks balls. Ena's an aspiring painter, her dad is a successful painter, and he constantly tells her that she's not going to get anywhere and she doesn't have the "power to face the hardships that come with being a professional artist", under the guise of "protecting her". Akito's ena's younger brother, so he grew up seeing this happen. More on that later.

Akito is part of a group of street performers called vivid bad squad, comprised of Kohane, An, him and Toya. Originally, they were the vivids (an and kohane), and the bad dogs (Akito and toya), but they decided to fuse their names and become one unit because they all 4 had the same goal. That goal? To surpass rad weekend, a musical event so legendary, put on by An's father, they want to create an event better than that. The bad dogs met and had been working at that since around middle school, but An was still looking for a singing partner in highschool. Who does she partner with? Kohane, a timid girl who walked into her cafe asking for directions and got too scared to ask, with no experience in music other than seeing an sing (the cafe also has a concert area in it, that's what kohane walked in on). So she partners with kohane, tells akito and toya about this.

Remember that thing earlier about ena and akito's father? Yeah. AKITO does the same thing to Kohane. Calls her a talentless shrimp who will never be able to surpass rad weekend. The difference here though is that Akito recognizes kohanes genuine motivations and after that he does treat her like a little sister in a lot of ways.

Anyway, as stated above, papa shinonome sucks. Bad dad. An's dad though, ken? Good dad. Treats akito well. Has basically adopted him. So by extension his kid is his sibling and they sure do act like it. He and An have this outward banter of rivalry but they're playing, Akito loves her a lot, is willing to help her out of emotional ruts that he's been in before, like he really does care about her and she cares about him, teasing him whenever she gets the chance but expressing concern as he mistreats himself in Stray Bad Dog and breaks into the live house to sing with him when he goes up against Arata. (The picture below with an in the center and Toya and Kohane in the background is from Akito's perspective, and that's that scene)

Unit swap Shinonomes bc I have brainrot Some headcanons:

Because of her talent and passion for art, Ena is treated as sort of the golden child out of the family. Their dad is much more enthusiastic about her becoming an artist, though he's very strict with what Ena does. Because of this, Akito is lowkey neglected by him.

Despite his support, Ena feels almost trapped with him. It's largely because of his connections that she gets all the opportunities that she does. She wants to surpass him as an artist without his help.

She takes up graffti art and paints around vivid street every so often. Because of this, she's known An for about as long as she's known Airi.

I have no idea how she gets into VBS and partners with Toya, but she mainly uses singing and rad weekend as stress relief. It's just nice to have another goal besides art.

She teaches Kohane, Toya, and An how to spray paint and usually puts up some promo for their next event around the cafe.

Akito still has a passion for singing, but it's squandered by his family not giving him the attention he needs. During elementary school, he wins that soccer game against the nationally ranked team, but everyone is too focused on Ena getting into a huge art school. When he tries to tell everyone about rad weekend, it's once again overtaken by Ena winning some art competition.

It kinda made him realize that, no one really cares what he does. He ends up finding one of Kanade's songs. It really helps him, and after he uploads a cover of it, Kanade reaches out to him to join Nightcord.

He's very "Don't talk to me, I'm angy". He's blunt and doesn't take shit from others. Because of this and his overall scary nature, he tends to be a bit of a loner at school. He doesn't involve himself with others under the guise that he doesn't need to.

Akito mainly helps with the vocals of n25. He does have a bit of art knowledge thanks to his dad and Ena, but that usually goes to Mizuki and the music videos. He doesn't dare entertain the idea that he's an artist.

The dude has alot of respect for Kanade for not only saving him with her music, but also for the passion and drive she has towards her dream. He tends to be a bit softer when talking to her because of it.

Akito lowkey can't stand Mafuyu. He hates what little she does with all the talent she has. Her song lyrics are touching, her voice is beautiful, she gets top grades in school, yet she doesn't have any drive or passion. It's a "If you have something to say, say it already!" type deal.

During the main story, when Mafuyu is having the suicidal freak out, Akito promises her he's gonna help her find something she's passionate about, otherwise all of her talent will be put to waste.

Mizuki is Annoying (affectionate) Mizuki LOVES to mess with him to get a reaction out of him. They're constantly dragging him out to do stuff like clothes shopping because "You wouldn't get out of the house otherwise!" Akito doesn't actually mind it as much as he says he does.

Ena and Akito don't get along very well, and avoid each other as much as possible. Ena is very much aware of the neglect Akito deals with because of her, but doesn't know what she should do about it.

The members are all outcasts, and I thought this song expressed it well. I see this song as like, wanting to escape reality but knowing it's not possible? So they stay together and be stronger together. Though if I could find a vkei song about water instead of flying away I might change it to that.

Destination -> Smile! : Last time I answered I said Ghost Food by Moe Shop but the lyrics don't fit them, so I'm changing it to PROJECTION by ねじ式 because it fits both the idol vibe and the positive message they want to spread. Being together even through tough times and how there is hope for the future yada yada

Song made by a vtuber with a monster theme? Yeah it's absolutly perfect for them. It does have a theme about hiding which fits them, as vtubing was kinda their escapism because they couldn't reach their original goal, but they still want their voices to be heard. They might play as monsters, but they still crave the sunlight.

The song is about not giving up even through hardships. All the unit members have a difficult relationship with music (Shiho not finding band members as motivated as her, Haruka having given up on being an idol like in canon, An knowing she can't surpass RAD WEEKEND on her own, and n25 being disbanded, Mizuki was left missing music but not knowing where to start). Them starting this new band was truly the motivation they needed.
