This is Rafeeqa! She's a noble in the fire reigon of Zebainaya. She's a close friend to prince Ahmed and is rumoured to soon marry him. She comes from a almost disgraced family. Despite not being the head of her family she tries her best to upkeep the family name. Lately, she's been more withdrawn from the public eye... and is randomly seen at the palace.

This little NPC is lost. The Narrator [Black] has come to guide her back to where she needs to be. [Blank Scripts AU]

I imagine Black would be a lot more tolerant toward his NPCs since they're basically just the Dungeons spawns, and by extension, his own creations.

[If you're familiar with manhwas / manhuas that features the dungeon / system genre, you'd be able to understand this AU a lot easier. The majority of my inspiration for worldbuilding came from those specific genres.]

[NOTE: 'Dungeon' is just another term for the Parable. Technically, Black owns a Dungeon and the Parable is just a small part of it. The Dungeon itself is much, much larger.]

For context, the comic below references this post about the Dungeon's children/guard dogs.

[They're more like the immune system since all they do is make sure the (body) is safe.]

[The reason the Narrator [Black] considers them his children is that the Dungeon is feeding off his energy and in turn shares the 'nutrients' to the monsters it produces, which transforms them into an image that resembles his power.]

Joseph is NOT AN NPC! He is a person who exists outside of the Dungeon!

[There are two separate 'worlds' for this AU. Inside the Dungeon (where most of the game-like stuff is happening) and the world outside (pretty much their normal world.)]

[There is a secret third world, and that's our world. Our reality.]

These characters are not actually important or anything, I just made them to make the AU feel more lively. To make a world that exists, you know?

When the Narrator [Black] first established himself in their world, he found a growing problem with homelessness. Not understanding human norms or why this has become a problem in the first place, he offers (tricks) them into working for him as janitors for the Dungeon and they accept for the money.

Most of them left after they got paid, but Joseph was one of the people who stayed. He doesn't have anywhere else to go and has no ambitions in life. He just wishes to live a peaceful life with food and a roof over his head.

Joseph defaults to referring to the Narrator [Black] with feminine terms due to his appearance despite his voice. The Narrator [Black] is not the type to care for such terms anyway so he doesn't care how other people refer to him as long as there's respect.

This post focuses more on the worldbuilding and background aspects of the AU! There are a lot more in store for the Blank Scripts AU, and I want to explore more on how the characters might interact with their surroundings and how this would work to make a world that makes sense.

It would be so cool if people made self-inserts or OCs for my AU actually. I'd love to see how you guys would work with my stuff. Play around with it like a barbie world for your little barbie dolls. Be canon compliant, be canon divergent, who cares, have fun.

In an AU which Tywin marries again a few years after Joanna dies, for the purpose of making his line secure with multiple sons (bc he's still a shit father to Tyrion smh). Within the first six years of marriage, Nysema gives birth to twins, and daughter, and a son. Despite how rocky their relationship was to begin with, time (aided by her success at giving him four children (three of which are boys)) softened Tywin greatly - his growing kindness and loyalty likewise softened her. Eventually they became quite the power couple, especially by the time the events of Game of Thrones come around. They're greying and grandparents, but very sexy.

Going to share yet ANOTHER tidbit from my Shadowheart & Gilly fic, "Collide." I meant for this fic to maybe be around 1.5k words and it is now spiraling so out of control and has lore that I didn't even mean to include, so, uh, yeah! We're sitting at around 2.8k now and with no clear sign of stopping yet.

“I don’t either.” She looked at her hands, half expecting them to be gray. “Did you try to pull away?” she asked. 

“In all honesty, I couldn’t tell where you began and I ended,” he said. “I… I’ve never experienced something like that before. The last time I confided this much in someone, he—” he stopped, then shook his head. “Well, it doesn’t matter, anyway.”

“That’s not what I meant,” she said quietly.

“Oh.” He slipped his thumb through the buckle of his medicine bag and flicked it. “No, I never tried. I didn’t need to try. She—Mother saw something in me, and that was enough.” He smiled ruefully. “She thinks me dead. Or I suppose that she must, since she would have sent for me by now had she known otherwise. She doesn’t appreciate loose ends.”

“But she left you,” said Shadowheart.

“Aye. She did.”

“That end seems pretty loose to me.”

He looked at her sadly. “Yes.”

“I’d say you were trying to trick me,” she said. “But I don’t think you’re very good at that sort of thing.”

Giliath laughed. “I guess I’ll add that to the list.”

“I don’t know how you can laugh, after all this,” she admitted. She wanted to sink to her knees. She felt breathless, as if she had just finished climbing out of the Hells. She could still taste the sulfur on her lips, feel the heavy black blood pooling in her lungs. When Giliath didn’t respond, she continued. “Why show me this, Giliath? If this is a warning, then I don’t understand it.”

“Not a warning,” said Giliath. “An invitation. You’re not nearly as alone as you think you are.”

“Yes I am,” she said, only whatever defiance she meant to evoke by those words felt cold and sad instead. She knelt in the grass, and Giliath knelt alongside her. They were silent, and it was lonely, and she felt Shar watching her with unmeasured approval. 

“Do you think you can save me?” she said at last.

Adventures in Esempi is an ai-powered open-world rpg. One that promises to be truly limitless "I wanted to create a dnd-like experience. Where the story can be truly limitless if the DM has ideas, just for people who don't have anyone to be their DM." The developer "XD" says in an interview. "AI was my way of doing that. And I know people will come at me for using AI. But it does take effort to create. I have worked for years on this project to train my characters. And it's not even ready yet. I'm currently doing my 3rd wave of play testing and I'm sure one of my lovely play testers will come across a bug that is game breaking and I'll have to reset the AI's parameters all over again." Another quote from the developer reads.

"Every character I make is a tribute to someone I've lost or someone who impacted me greatly. With a few cameos for some of my play testers who without which this game would not exist. Though there is one character that's a little easter egg, should you go looking for it." XD says when asked about his character creation process

A little bit more about the development: Adventures in Esempi is a passion project of it's currently sole developer a person known as XD (note that while XD identifies as trans-masc and uses both he/him and they/them pronouns for the purposes of this article XD will be refered to with he/him pronouns or simply "XD"). The game has had many other developers over the years, the longest working on the project being Sam Isenberg, or Awesamdude as was his online name, and the mysterious Callahan. Sam -who was also XD's husband at the time- worked on the first ideas and attempts at the project in the late 90s and the 2000s before being found dead in 2010 shortly after leaving the project and filing for divorce. We know much less about Callahan. Only that he worked on the project from the year 2006 to 2014 when he went missing. But even with these loses, and even more person ones in the time of the games development XD has kept on the project. Honoring past developers that left the project with a character ingame.

I think that's all I'll give you for now ;) but that is a pretty big lore drop

Man my self insert has had some changes at first it was gonna be Jedi training in their later adult years > vito the Jedi idea and instead have them as a force sensitive who really does not give two shits about Jedi and stuff and instead is a gambler > to vitoing that idea to be a bounty hunter who acts like they're tough shit but sometimes is caught giving themselves pep talks before hunting g for a bounty. Also did I mention they're EXTREMELY fucking clumsy? Like....drops their blaster in the sand and some grains get into it and now suddenly its not firing so they have to resort to hand to hand. I'm the luckiest worst bounty hunter in the galaxy simply because when it goes wrong I still manage to complete what I was set out to do! Well nine times out if ten at least 😂

Also, why did they have to make this room so needlessly huge, like? Why is the ceiling 60 meters tall just for them to run on the ground and then up a lil??

Like are you actually for fucking real telling me they have discovered how to levitate objects in the BL universe and NO ONE cares?? look at the first panel again. An entire walkway is just suspended in the air on NOTHING?? Like the micro-translators were already pretty crazy but THIS is some fucking Star Wars, Blade Runner, The Jetsons type shit like???

And how many tens of millions of dollars did it cost to build this futuristic ass obstacle course with fucking invisible screens and levitating platforms that was just COMPLETELY unused before this one tiny part of the blue lock players came here

The Gremlins' Quirks and Habits

I don't think they're particularly quirky people but they do have some habits. Most are normal but some are....eccentric. 🤣🤣

Sylvan

He likes flavoured milk/sweet fruit juice and would get absolutely whiny and annoying (poor Sylvia RIP girl) if he doesn't get his fill of sugary drinks for breakfast. He also has a habit of carrying sweets/food everywhere because he gets hungry so easily. Sylvan has a serious case of lack of boundaries since he tends to live by the rule 'give affection first, ask permission later'. Chaste kisses, bear hugs, head pats, handholding, arm-cling (yes, doesn't matter if you're like, half his size, if he feels like it, he will cling to your arm and put as much of his weight on you as he thinks you can handle) and hair ruffles are his way of greeting 99% of the time. He will only show restraint if his (typically ignored) internal social alarm alerts him that a person is aversed to touch. He has a horrible, terrible, and utterly shameless habit of biting anyone he thought cute. Cute aggression is real with this boy. You could have a totally normal conversation and accidentally do something he thinks is cute and if it's too much cuteness for his non-existent social restraint to stop him, he will just randomly...chomp. None of that bruising marking bite tho (he reserved that for private requests only), but just a light nom. This boy is so oral-oriented.

Sylvia

Tea, and later as they grow older, alcoholic beverages. Sylvia has a habit of casually conjuring a cup/glass and proceeds to pour a cup/glass of her beverage of choice if she feels exasperated but knows that she couldn't nope her way outta there (98% of the time it's because of Sylvan's shenanigans lol). The world could be burning around her but she will still prioritise her drinks first. She stress-workouts. She needs physical activity to cope with stress and anxiety, and this includes the thought of having to socialise. Sylvia is extremely introverted when it comes to socialising. She could command, present, and debate with intimidating charisma but the moment she is asked to socialise in a casual setting, this girl needs her push-ups/laps/any physical activities (and drinks) first. Even then, she will still hide behind Sylvan/Mildred/Riz and avoid interactions at all costs. Has an endearing habit of puffing up her cheeks and scrunching up her face if she couldn't figure out something. She never realised it but every time she is stuck and can't solve/figure out something, she will do it and the next thing she knows her arm just got nommed by her brother; or she will get a random forehead kiss from Riz; or have her puffed cheeks being smooshed and smooched by Mildred. 🤣

Riz

Riz is a creature of routine and habit, and it's all for a good reason. Since he doesn't feel hunger pain, he charmed his pocket watch to vibrate every time he is supposed to eat and drink so that he doesn't forget to do so. However, he does have a habit of needing to have his coffee in the morning, his black tea any time after 3pm, and his chamomile tea/warm milk with honey before attempting to sleep. Among the squad, he might be the best at self-care. Of course, there's the routine self-check for injuries and healing procedure he conducts every time he gets to a safe place after a fight or when he gets home after spending time outside, but he also has other self-care habits that he indulges in. He likes scented things and that transfers to his habit of lathering his hands in lotion almost hourly, adding fragrances to his daily evening bath, and his need for lighting scented candles before he attempts to sleep. Also, around the squad, Riz has an automated habit of giving forehead kisses if he thinks they're acting cute. Since the gremlins have established their boundaries with each other early on, Riz is comfortable approaching them, gently tilting their chin with his hand and giving them a forehead kiss (and a soft 'thank you' for making him smile).

Mildred

Mildred needs her milk tea every morning. She also doesn't like breakfast because she feels the urge to throw up if she eats a full breakfast early in the morning, so she will pack her breakfast and snack on it at smaller time intervals throughout the morning. At Hogwarts, this is right in between classes, and for smaller food items, she would sneakily eat them in class. At home, she would spend at least 15 minutes before starting her day talking to her horse (Orion). While at Hogwarts, she does this with Hazel the Unicorn. If she's in any situation where she can't have Orion/Hazel to talk to, she will resort to her plushies to talk to. She also has the habit of conjuring her plushies and squeezing them whenever she gets nervous or needs a courage boost. Mildred is so attached to her plushies that she makes a plushie resembling everyone she has come to love in her life (yes, she has plushies of the squad.) Similar to Sylvan, she also has an outwardly affectionate habit she practices with everyone she likes. Mildred will smoosh and smooch. If she feels someone in this circle is acting cute, she will giggle and proceed to squish their cheeks in her palm before proceeding to kiss each of their smooshed cheeks (Permanent victim: Sylvan; Favourite victims: Sylvia and Ominis; 'Golden Pokemon victim': Riz 🤣)

i'm gonna say, i do like it when games have very vague lore. when you get little bits and pieces of environmental storytelling and everyone connects the dots differently. i like when there are many different interpretations of the same characters and events, it really brings out the creative spark in us!

that's why i'm a bit worrying about the two embers solidifying everything in stone. not that i'm not exited about the show, but i'm gonna miss the vagueness and mystery of sky's world

best case scenario, this show gives us more questions than answers, and we can continue our lore speculations

ALRIGHT, meet my FNFsona/self-insert :) which is basically still me but like ✨cooler.✨

More in-depth explanation to her & her lore below the cut! Be warned that includes some mentions/ implications of abuse, violence and the likes of it.

• She's "runaway artist." Aka she does graffiti art, knows how to draw and all that jazz.

• She's also a self-proclaimed vigilante (of sorts).

• A lot more serious and reserved. She's very calculating (or street smart) as well, but still very kind and sweet to those she comes across.

• Truth be told, she's not human. Although she does have the skills to draw, she mostly uses her "artist" title to disguise herself as an ordinary human amongst the rest.

• She's secretly an angelic being of sorts. Probably not exactly an angel since she's not as "pure" as the standards go, but still uses the term since it's the closest thing to what she is.

• Her case with being an "angel" while also not acting like one is kinda the same with Panty & Stocking (which I took inspo from).

• Since she's an angel- she does have wings. Well... at least she used to. She doesn't like showing the scars of it, as she feels pretty self-conscious abt it (while also getting reminded of when they were cut off).

• Who might be the person who cut her wings off, you may ask? Well you're in luck, because that's the next topic I'm gonna talk abt!

• If you were to ask her why she's on the run, the most she'd answer you is that she's "trying to outrun something."

• Truthfully, it's not really something, but rather someone.

• This someone is a person she used to be really close with. They've both known each other and were rather close for quite some time. This doesn't necessarily mean it was healthy though.

• This person... he was the one who cut off her wings, the reason being that she tried to leave him. She wanted to cut ties with him, anything to just get away from him after realizing what their relationship really was.

• Of course, he didn't want that. And he surely wasn't going to allow it.

• Fortunately enough, she still got away like she wanted, but it came at the cost of something of course. She didn't want to experience it, but she'd practically take anything at that moment just so she wasn't near him anymore.

• Sadly, it doesn't exactly stop from there. She's not truly free as of the moment since he's hunting her down, chasing after her for his own selfish benefits.

• This is a part of her story that not many (or any, at all) know. If they did, they'd put together that she's not exactly a "runaway artist," but rather a "runaway angel."

• Though, perhaps someone could change that...
