Hold Me, Hold Me, I'm Your Bunny
RE2R!Leon x F!Reader AU
“It’s cold, rookie. Go put on a jacket,” Marvin tells Leon.
His superior isn’t wrong; the night had turned out to be a bit more chilly than Leon had anticipated, which prompted him not to bring a jacket or coat– not that this bothered him; he didn’t get cold easily and acted as a walking heater to anyone who wanted to feel a little warm and fuzzy.
“I’m fine, sir. Thank you,” he responds with a tired smile.
Ever the gentleman that he is, a gloved hand flies up to cover his mouth as he yawns, a small puff of steam billowing out of his mouth. As much as he loves his job, there’s no place he’d rather be than at home with his girl, cuddling and joining the rest of the world in dreamland but alas here he is– duty calls. Calloused fingers threaded through strands the color of wheat, slightly causing his usually neat hair to appear slightly fluffy. He turns his head, summer sky blues trained in the vast darkness to look out for any threat that he could quell. He does this for about an hour or two– or four… or five. He lost count, distracted by the biting cold that slowly started to settle in his bones. Pink settled in Leon’s cheeks and the tips of his ears, adding color like watercolor to a blank canvas; goosebumps rose on his arms and on the back of his neck, jaw clenching to keep his teeth from chattering. He did his best to look as if the cold wasn’t causing him some discomfort, only rubbing his hands together for warmth every now and then. 2:45 AM, his black sports watch reads. “She’s probably asleep by now,” he fondly thinks as the corners of his lips curl skyward. “At least she’s warm and cozy,” he wistfully adds, the feeling of his body craving sleep growing even stronger with each passing moment.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
7:35 AM, he finally gets to head home after a long and cold night; he feels odd, a lot more susceptible to getting cold. The patrol car’s air conditioning felt several degrees colder, even if neither he nor Marvin changed the temperature and he felt a lot tired. After shifts like that, he always felt tired but this kind of exhaustion is different; it’s like his body weighed a lot more and he felt a headache slowly crawl up on him. He blamed these odd sensations on not drinking enough water, gaze falling on the thermos his girlfriend bought him as a reminder to hydrate often. He takes the bottle and drinks from it, dampening his dry throat only for his throat to feel a lot weirder and the water making him feel slightly nauseous. Marvin picks up on Leon’s sudden paleness, a frown placed on his chapped lips.
“Rookie, you alright? You don’t look like your usual self right now,” Marvin observes. Stopping at a red light he takes the opportunity to look at Leon, the rookie leaning against the corner near the door and shivering, rubbing his hands together to try and stay warm.
“Yeah. Just… a little cold… and tired,” Leon responds, flashing him a tiny smile, an attempt to downplay what he thinks is a fever going on. Regret on not bringing a coat or jacket sets in, knowing his error will cause his girl to worry for him on top of all the workload she already has.
“You sure, kid? You don’t look too good right now,” Marvin adds.
“Promise, L.T. It’s just been a long night,” Leon reassures.
They finally arrive at the station, Leon’s head spinning slightly since he got carsick from the overwhelming sensations in the car ride back to the precinct to gather his things before clocking out only to groan when he realizes he has to use a car to get back home as well. Grabbing his backpack, he waves the officers bye and heads out. Even with the sun’s rays not fully beaming down on the slowly waking world, he squints his eyes and closes them for a bit, finding it too bright. With a tired sigh and a silent prayer that he doesn’t collapse from exhaustion on the way home, he walks over to the side of the road and waits for a cab to come and pick him up whilst also fighting the urge to hunch over at the sidewalk and hurl.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
He finally reaches home, resisting the urge to doze off on the floor within minutes of unlocking the front door. With a groan, he hobbles over to the medicine cabinet and takes some Advil before heading up the stairs. He forces himself to take a quick shower to cool himself off before grabbing some plaid pajama bottoms and a worn out gray sweater from the police academy. He draws the curtains, slides into bed and huddles under the sheets before turning his body to face your side of the bed, inching his face nearer to your pillow and inhaling the scent of your coconut shampoo. Just before he decides to take a nap, he takes his phone and sends you a message saying that he’s home. Even with the curtains already drawn he still finds the day too bright for his delicate eyes so he pulls the duvet over his head, closing his eyes and eventually falling asleep.
You get home to a dark and silent apartment, the lack of Leon anywhere throwing you off. Closing the door, you drop your bag off at the couch before heading upstairs to the bedroom. “Honey?,” You call out. At first you don’t get a response but you do hear a low groan coming from the bedroom. You finally reach the door and push it open to be met with the faint warm glow of your bedside lamp and your boyfriend huddled nicely in the sheets. He shoots you a small grin but you know something is up with him with the way he doesn’t get up and practically lunge at you for a hug.
“Sick,” he quietly says, readjusting his position again and pats your spot beside him. You walk over to the side of the bed and place the back of your hand against his forehead to feel for his temperature. You leave his side for a few minutes, only to come back with a thermometer. After double checking his temperature, you finally confirm that he has a fever. “How’d you get sick?,” you ask him as you pat his fluffy hair. “Stood out in the cold from 10 PM to 7 AM, no jacket,” he sheepishly says. His response earns a small frown from you, going off into a lecture about how he should’ve brought something to keep him warm because the temperatures are a lot more extreme these days to which he nodded and mumbled an “mhm”. You place a small kiss on his forehead, telling him that you’ll make dinner for the both of you before getting in bed to cuddle with him. He nods and smiles, probably the brightest smile he could muster for today before turning over and dozing off again.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
“Dinner’s ready,” you softly say in a sing-song voice as you bring in rice porridge on a tray, along with a bowl of cut-up fruit, and a glass of water. You set the tray down before helping Leon sit up, propping the pillows up on his back so he’d be cozy. You drag a chair beside him, waiting for him to take the bowl and start eating but he doesn’t.
“Why aren’t you eating yet?,” you ask.
“Can you feed me? Please?,” he asks as he shoots you the most kicked puppy dog eyes ever. He takes his hands together in prayer position, mumbling please and saying something along the lines of letting the patient have complete rest.
“God, you’re so cringe,” you scoff but you still decide to grab the bowl and give him spoons full of the porridge. Your boyfriend can be a bit silly sometimes but it’s why you love him. He takes a large bite, a pleased hum coming from him as he swallows down the food. “Taste good?,” you ask which he responds to with a smile and a thumbs-up. While Leon’s still got some porridge in his mouth, you take the time to contact his superior about Leon’s sick leave for two to three days.
“Umm, hi. I’m Y/N, Leon’s girlfriend and I called because he’s going to be on sick leave for two to three days, he came down with a fever so I hope you’d understand,” you say to the phone.
Leon simply looks at you with a slight look of surprise in his eyes; he already mentally noted that he’d call up Marvin later on after his dinner but turns out his thoughtful girlfriend had beat him to it. Looking up from his bowl, he keeps his gaze on you as you converse with Marvin, his heart thumping in his chest whenever you smile. The call went on for a few minutes before it finally ended, walking back to Leon’s side only to see his bowl finished.
“Your boss sounded a little surprised to hear that you’ve got a girlfriend,” you shyly say with a giddy grin. Leon laughs softly, running his fingers through his hair.
“Yeah, I don’t talk about you a lot at work– not- not because I don’t love you or a-anything, no– it’s, well, you know–,” he stammers which causes you to smile sweetly with your eyes squinting slightly and he swears he just fell in love all over again.
“I don’t have um– l-lots of y’know– friends at the station– there’s only Marvin,” he finally finishes. He realizes he sounds a lot like his pre-girlfriend self from when he first decided to ask you out on a date, back when eye contact with you and a simple graze of your fingers got his system undergoing a factory reset (not that things have changed: he’s still having factory resets from when you touch him).
“Well, I should stop by at work when you get back and I dunno– maybe get you lunch and kiss you in front of everyone,” you joke as you take his hand and place a kiss.
“God I need to get well soon,” he responds. He looks a lot less miserable now but still very much feverish.
“Hey I meant that as a joke–,” you say.
“Nuh-uh,” he says as he waves his pointer finger in front of you. “You need to keep your word or else I’ll be sad.”
“Fine, fine but only because I love you,”
“I love you more.”
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Soon, it’s time for bed and you get into the sheets with him, wrapping your arms around him and nuzzling your face into the nook of his neck.
“Baby you’re going to get sick too if you’re too close to me,” he softly says as he pats your hair.
“That’s not so bad if you get to take care of me,” you softly respond with a smile before placing a tender kiss on his neck. He shifts his position so now he’s the smaller spoon and you get to hold him like a stuffed animal. A pleased sigh could be heard under his breath as one hand strokes his back and gives him a soft pat while the other strokes his hair. “It’s not so bad being sick,” he happily thinks to himself– not that you don’t take care of him, of course you do, but the experience of being taken care of when he’s unable to care for himself brings a comfortable feeling of assurance that you’ll be right by him when things get rough; you’ll be there for him as a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, an umbrella underneath the pouring rain, and a warm drink on a chilly night.
With your care and constant reminder to take pills and drink water, he managed to get better after two days and is clear to get back to work (bringing along a coat with him, of course; you’d flip if he got sick due to being out in the cold again). The brightness of his eyes have returned and he’s back to being the golden retriever, greeting everyone a ‘good morning’ before settling his things down at his desk and working on papers that piled up while he was gone. Stretching his fingers and grabbing a pen from a cup in his desk he takes a sheet and starts signing and going through reports whilst sipping his coffee, very much in a good mood. Marvin decided to let him work on reports first and not start patrolling around since he just got back from a fever and deemed it best that he shouldn’t move around just yet. After working for several hours straight he finally finishes his workload, just needing to file these reports away– the only task left before Marvin hands him a new set. Stretching his lower back and rolling his shoulders, he grabs his coat and wallet to head out and grab lunch.
“Officer Kennedy please report to the front desk,” the intercom blares. With a slightly frustrated sigh, he mentally prepares himself that he might have to skip out on lunch as he heads to where he’s needed.
“Good noon, ma’am– Baby!” he happily exclaims. His entire face brightens up and he beams brightly, running over to you and pulling you in for a tight hug as he rocks you from side to side. After a bone-crushing hug, he pulls away but he keeps his hands on your waist.
“It’s so good to see you. What are you doing here?,” he asks. His blue eyes were like waters, his gaze pulling you under and deeper into the spell he cast on you.
“Lunch. Kept my promise from days ago just like you wanted.”
“So… I’ll finally get that kiss in front of others?”
“Maybe. If you want–”
“I do want it so… come here.” Leon says with a cocky smirk as he pulls you in for a tender kiss.
NOTE - If this is a little bad then I'm really sorry because this fic has been marinating in my docs for 2 weeks now and I kinda lost the idea mid-write so... yeah (I also finished this fic during math class because the question I got for an activity is so damn DIFFICULT-- KILLING MYSELF I HATE MATH I HATE THIS SHIT SO BAD FUCK MATH). first meet
barcelona femení x reader headcannnons
stepping out of the car, you’re hit with the sheer magnitude of it all. the huge barcelona crest on the training ground building, the bright blaugrana colors, the muffled conversations inside as you opened up the heavy doors.
for a moment, you stand there and just soak it in, the weight of your childhood dream finally realized. the excitement is buzzing under your skin as you remind yourself, “i'm really here. i made it to barcelona!”
sitting with the official contract in front of you, laporta sitting on the wheel chair beside, pen in hand, there’s a thrill in knowing this is the moment everything changes.
when you sign, the pen glides smoothly, like this was always meant to happen. photographers snap photos of every smile and expression, and soon after, you’re handed a fresh barça kit with your name printed across the back.
it feels surreal, but there’s a deep pride in holding it, like the kid in you is finally, fully alive.
you weren't given a number yet. however, you were told that you might get the number 20 or 25.
pulling on the barca jersey feels oddly natural. they have you pose with the ball, taking shots of every angle, and while you’re trying to look composed, the grin on your face keeps breaking through.
you think about all the times you chose “barcelona” as the answer to “barcelona or madrid?” as a kid. you realize this is a choice you’ve held onto for a lifetime. the little kid who loved this club is still somewhere inside, thrilled.
as you’re waiting to meet the team, you pull out your phone. suddenly, the gallery app says, "on this day twelve years ago.."
you are trying to distract your nerves, so you click on the notifcation to see the photo you have with messi as a kid.
it’s grainy but meaningful, capturing a time when he was barça’s biggest star, and you were just a fan. you think about sharing it later, once you’re more settled in.
after, you're headed towards the locker room, and as you approach, you hear muffled laughter and voices. a pang of nerves hits, wondering if you’ll find the same tight-knit family here as you did at bayern.
the first person to welcome you is alexia. she’s all warmth, walking over with a friendly smile and pulling you into a quick hug. there’s a sense of calm in her demeanor, and she jokes, “welcome to the family.”
before you know it, patri’s joining in, cracking jokes about the “serious” reputation ex-german league players have. you laugh, trying to play along as she teases you about bringing that same intense energy to barça. it’s refreshing, and you immediately sense her humor is going to be a good balance for the pressure you might put on yourself.
almost immediately, ewa sidles up beside you, smirking and saying it’s good to see a fellow ex-wolfsburg player. caro, fridolina, and ingrid join in too, all smiles and familiarity. there’s a strong bond from your wolfsburg days that makes you all fall into conversation easily. frido laughs about how strange it is to have all of you here.
it’s like no time has passed, and you already feel like you have an inner circle to rely on.
mapi bounces over next seeing ingrid get along with you, full of excitement and humor. she drapes an arm around you, saying that barça’s initiation rituals are “one of a kind,” making you laugh nervously.
she's energetic, and you like that. you are known to be a bit hyper and energized yourself. your speed on the pitch shoes that.
aitana joins the group, quieter but smiling warmly. she gives you a nod, saying she’s excited to have another midfielder on the team. her soft-spoken way of welcoming you makes you feel supported,
esmee comes over, offering a sincere congratulations and telling you how proud she is to see you here. you find yourself genuinely moved by her support.
soon, the entire team has gathered around, welcoming you into the fold. introductions are made, and the air is filled with laughter and excitement. everyone has a different personality, but together they make the room feel lively, like a big family gathering.
next day, you had your first training with the new team.
you notice the intensity right away. there’s a sharpness to everything, but running beside alexia and aitana, you find yourself matching their rhythm.
during passing drills, pina challenges you, adding spin or extra force to her kicks. you keep up, adapting quickly to her style. when she gives you an approving nod, it’s a small but satisfying moment of validation.
while working on corners, mapi keeps cracking jokes, making you laugh so much you almost miss your cues. she clearly has a knack for keeping things light, and it’s clear she’s already taken you under her wing.
in the scrimmage, caro and ewa are by your side, and you feel the familiar rhythm of playing with them again. frido’s right there too, giving you pointers and cracking jokes mid-play, while ingrid offers a quick thumbs-up every time you make an amazing move.
after the session, the team gathers for a cool down and a brief huddle. everyone’s a little sweaty, laughing and joking about the drills, and you can feel the collective spirit that drives this team.
you can't wait for your bond to grow with your new team

non!idol wonwoo x male reader reader prns: he/him word count: 992 non!idol au fluff
wonwoo always brings comfort
content warnings: suggestive implications
unedited</3
(masterlist)
a/n: wait this was so cute hold on posting this one day early bc im busy tmrw!
happy 9th anniversary svt!
the bed was cold.
golden light flowed through the windows of the couple’s bedroom, dirty laundry strewn across the hardwood floor. was it a lack of cleanliness or a rush of desire and endorphins flowing through the couple when they arrived home that caused the floor to lay there still?
the bedspread on the couple’s bed was bunched by the bottom of the mattress, the occupants exposed left leg peeking out of the white sheets. soft groans erupted from his mouth as he opened his eyes, the morning world bright with color.
holding onto the pillow, y/n awoke shivering. why was he alone? “wonwoo…?” he asked, morning voice clinging to the low notes of the word. "where are you...?" y/n groaned, flipping over onto his stomach, exposed forearms catching the cold air radiating from the ac. "ah." he exclaimed, his voice laced with a lack of enthusiasm.
grabbing the edge of the soft sheet tangled in his legs, y/n pulled on the fabric, trying to cover his legs. "i'm still cold." he pouted, flopping over again, hitting the ground by the bed with a soft thud. "ow." his half awake mind was now alert, y/n rubbing his side with his left hand. the fabric of his oversized shirt rested at the top of his thighs, scrunching up to expose his stomach to the cold of his house.
moving his hand away from his torso, y/n reached for a hoodie scrunched up on the floor. he couldn't tell whose it was. was it his own? the scent of wonwoo's cologne filled y/n's nose as he brought the gray zip-up closer to his body, his heart fluttering with the rush of endorphins.
wonwoo was somehow everything wrapped into one person.
he was kind, open-minded. his presence inside the apartment was quiet: reading books on his side of the couch in his blanket, the couple's black cat curling up on his lap, cooking meals for dinner, and most off all pampering his partner. wonwoo was multifaceted, always there but always enough. and sure, he had a gorgeous face and more than average physique, but his mind was so complex, and as y/n grew older he grew to appreciate wonwoo's silent thoughts and moments more and more.
pulling himself out of his enamored thoughts, y/n found the strength deep within his drained and sore body to get off of the hardwood floor, standing on his own two feet. the world slightly span as he unzipped the jacket, putting over his shoulders, taking in the familiarity of wonwoo’s being.
the door of his bedroom veered open as he pushed against it, the light from the rest of the apartment rousing his eyes from their state of equilibrium. he brought his hand to cover his eyes from the sunlight, catching the motion of something by the window.
wonwoo.
a bright smile appeared on his face, moving quicker to sneak up on the distracted man. wonwoo pulled on the drawstring off the couple’s cheap curtains, y/n standing right behind him, reaching out his arms to wrap them around wonwoo’s waist.
“did i scare you?”
wonwoo’s soft chuckle fluttered through the air of the living room, y/n’s heart taking a deep breath at the noise. “good morning y/n.” wonwoo replied, y/n pressing his face into the space between wonwoo’s shoulder blades.
he had on a pretty black tank top. y/n couldn’t remember where wonwoo had gotten the item; the black lace with flower prints different from his style. “is this new?” y/n asked, his mind falling back asleep against wonwoo’s warm torso. “mmh, i found it while i was out with mingyu last week. it’s pretty, right?”
there was a part of his voice that was searching for validation. you wouldn’t notice it usually, but with the amount of time the two spent together, y/n could pick it up easily. “mmh you look so pretty.” y/n could feel wonwoo’s shoulders go up, him letting them down with a deep breath.
“why are you up so early?” he asked, wonwoo turning around to walk towards the couch, y/n nodding off as his boyfriend softly talked. “um i went on a run. and then i read and fed daisy.”
at the mention of her name, the tuxedo cat ran through the living room, brushing up to the couple’s legs. “hi daisy.” wonwoo whispered, leaning down to pet the cats head. y/n in turn ended up clinging to wonwoo’s back.
his eyes lulled back to a sleep like state, wonwoo standing back up. “y/n, are you awake?” wonwoo asked, his boyfriend softly snoring against wonwoo’s warm shoulder. his soft chuckles vibrated against y/n’s chest, taking the two back to the couch.
the cushions were filled with pillows and blankets, wonwoo knocking a few off before unraveling y/n’s hands and laying him on the couch. “ugh, wonwoo.” y/n whined, his once awake mind now falling back into dreamland. “i’m here.” he said, interlacing their fingers.
he leaned closer to m/n, pressing a soft kiss to his chapped lips. finding the clarity to wrap his arms around wonwoo’s neck, keeping their mouths locked together with the frame of wonwoo’s glasses knocking against the bridge of y/n’s nose. patting y/n’s right shoulder, wonwoo disconnected their lips gently, a soft smile on his face. “mmh, too early. good morning.”
a small pout appeared on y/n’s face. “good morning wonwoo.” wonwoo nodded, resting his head on y/n’s neck. the thought of wonwoo’s small smile, his face scrunched up at the edges of skin, made y/n’s heart flutter. he caressed the skin of his shoulders, wonwoo pressing kisses to his neck. y/n smiled happily, his heart fluttering at his beautiful boyfriend.
wonwoo always gave the best back hugs, and y/n couldn’t ask for a better way to wake up.
happy 9th anniversary to svt!!

Ticklish Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae x Reader
Erotic🔞 + 49. Please don't tell me you heard that. Requested by anon for my 1K Followers Event🌻
Warning: this thing surpassed what I usually call a 'drabble' and turned into a 1.8K fic or whatever you'd call this shite😌
Long, elegant hair.
Majestic, translucent green horns.
Bright green eyes that stared into your soul.
The cutest pointy ears!
Your boyfriend's Vidyadhara form was really something else. Not that he would often show you.
Which you respected of course. Dan Heng was just 'himself', as he would say it. The way he looked when you got to know him, the day you joined the crew of the Astral Express. The way most people knew him; short hair, black turtleneck along with a white and green-colored coat.
Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that was just the way he looked when you first fell for him too. But when you got to know his true form, the one resembling a dragon. Well fuck.
"Never?"
March 7th asked you in disbelief. You nodded. The two of you had been chatting in your room over some tea when the topic came up, and you explained to her that Dan Heng was never in his dragon form with you around.
"Never when we are alone. At least, not when I am looking."
"Not even when...?" She grinned in a certain way and immediately giggled. Ah, the dirty girl. You chuckled and shook your head.
"Never," you said again, and you sighed. In the time you dated him, already past the 1-year mark to be exact, he didn't turn into his true form when it was just the two of you, and you were too shy to ask.
It was like asking a normal human boyfriend to get naked or peel off his skin. Then again, he would easily transform in the heat of a battle. Maybe it was too personal to ask, or rather than asking him to get naked it could equal to asking him to get into his battle form. No, you really had no idea.
"That's too bad. I think I saw him a few times in that form. He's really beautiful," March said.
"That would be only twice for me, in battle. I don't know, maybe I should just ask. But I don't want to offend him and make things awkward."
"He's your boyfriend. I'm sure you can be honest!" March cheered you up, and you smiled.
"Thank you. Maybe you're right," you said, not entirely convinced but glad she sounded supportive.
"Well then, I should go. Call me when you want to talk more, or if you need my help to convince Dan Heng into transforming more. I have my ways," March said cheerfully as you guided her to the door.
"Hehe yeah, thanks!" You opened the door, and both you and March yelped in surprise to see Dan Heng standing there.
"Oh h-hi dear! You're... early?" you said nervously, but you checked the time and realized he wasn't early, but you were late. Your chat with March had completely distracted you and caused you to forget the time you would told Dan Heng you'd be in his room. It got so late he came to pick you up!
Dan Heng humbly shrugged. "May I come in?"
March shot him a glance and hopped away, giggling. "Have a nice evening you two!" she chirped.
You blushed as Dan Heng came into your messy room. You quickly kicked at some of the mess on the floor and shyly shot him a glance before turning your back towards him in embarrassment.
"Sorry about the mess. Also... Please don't tell me you heard that. What was just said, I mean- uh... were you waiting a long time?" you asked nervously, hoping he didn't overhear your girl talk with March that was specifically about him.
"I didn't."
"....Really?"
"Really. I have no idea what you're talking about," Dan Heng said, and you sighed in relief and turned to face him again.
"Alright then, it wasn't much anywa-YAH?!" you squeaked when before you stood Dan Heng... in... his Vidyadhara form! Eh?!
"Dan Heng..." You gaped at him. He was truly beautiful, but...
"Why are you..?" you wondered, but Dan Heng merely shrugged and moved his long hair over his shoulder as if he didn't know what to do with himself in this form if it wasn't using his powers for battle.
"Just... felt like it."
You could see a blush on his cheeks.
"Are you sure you didn't hear anything just now?" you asked, knowing this couldn't be a coincidence. You were talking about it and he literally transformed moments after! But he shook his head again.
"I didn't." That little liar! Not that you minded.... You slowly stepped towards him as he kept just standing there. He didn't look uncomfortable showing you this form, but he did seem.... a little shy.
"Actually I never saw you like this.. from up close, I mean," you said, carefully reaching out to touch his cheek.
"Is this okay?" you asked. Seemed like it was. He even leaned into your touch like a cuddly cat, ah, so cute.
"It's okay," he said. You reached for his ear and softly brushed your finger along his pointy ear. He shuddered visibly and even let out a little sigh.
"So you really wanted to transform, just because?" you asked curiously, now reaching for his other ear too. They were so cute... Dan Heng nodded and his shoulders were shaking a little.
"Yehes, just b-because."
You started to feel less shy now he was being like this, especially when he stumbled backwards and clumsily sat down on your bed. You moved down as well and settled yourself in his lap. With both hands you moved his long hair behind his shoulders and lightly caressed his neck with soft wiggling fingers, hoping it would tickle. It did.
"I see, what a coincidence," you said, watching the beautiful smile on his face.
"S-so you mahahay stohohop nohohow," he laughed politely. You may stop now, really? He was adorable.
"Because it tickles?" you wondered, and you went back to tickling his ears. Dan Heng gasped and tried to scrunch up his shoulders, but it didn't help him much.
"It d-doesn't hehe, juhuhust... Ahh!" Eep, was that a little moan? Straddling him, you could feel him writhe and squirm beneath you, and you were wondering if you were imagining it, or was that a little bulge you felt? Was he really getting hard now... already?
"So, it doesn't tickle? And you didn't overhear my conversation either? To think that a day would come when you tell me these lies with a straight face," you said teasingly, and to surprise him you moved both your hands down and tickled his sides.
"AHhah!" Dan Heng cried out and bucked his hips. You bounced on top of him but managed to keep your balance.
"Noho-wait- ahahack! Dohohon't!" Dan Heng tried to keep his cool, but instead of managing to chase you off him, he merely fell back. His long hair looked elegant around him as he arched his back, his hands prying at yours. He was breathing heavily and a deep blush could be seen on his cheeks.
"Baby...." Entranced, you continued to tickle him.
"Plehease," Dan Heng moaned. You had never seen him this erotic before. He was moaning and panting, and suddenly his breathing quickened.
You instinctively reached down and felt the bulge in his pants. Dan Heng let out squeaky moan and shook his head.
"D-don't look- ahh," he managed to say. "It's e-embarrassing- hngh!" You rubbed the bulge in his pants and were surprised he was already so hard.
"Please allow me," you begged. He looked so erotic, yet so embarrassed. Was Dan Heng in this form, uh, hornier? More sensitive maybe? Was that why he was reluctant to show you, before he overheard your talk with March? Maybe.
Dan Heng nodded but covered his face with his hand. "If you must," he said, causing you to laugh.
"Now now baby, don't be like this. I'll only make you feel good. But if you want me to stop for real, please tell me clearly."
No answer came to that, and when he lifted his hips so you could undress him more easily, you knew he was just embarrassed but not against it.
Your eyes widened when you saw how hard he was and he looked, well yeah.. larger than his usual erection. To think he had been hiding this from you for over a year.
Still covering his eyes, Dan Heng shook his head. "Don't stare at it."
Pffft! To tease him, you lightly tickled his inner thigh, very close to the base of his dick, and you were surprised to hear a loud giggly moan coming from him.
"NAhah! Whahat- hehe?" he giggled adorably, moving one hand from his face to look at you with one eye, which looked like it had teared up a little.
"You said don't stare at it, so I'm tickling you," you said, moving the tickling from his thigh to the huge erection itself. You lightly scribbled your fingers against it, giggling when Dan Heng shuddered and moaned. At this point it didn't even tickle him, he just felt so much pleasure.
"P-please- ah," Dan Heng moaned, moving his hips slightly as you stroked him firmly.
"Please, what?" you asked curiously. Was he still going to be embarrassed about this?
"Please, don't stop." Oh, he wasn't! With a smile on your face, you continued to pleasure him.
"Don't worry, I won't stop," you reassured, and to add to that, you started tickling him again, his inner thigh and hip, while you continued to stroke him, and Dan Heng's giggly moans and heavy wheezes were everything to turn you on to the fullest as well.
It didn't take long before he came all over you - his orgasm huge, sticky and long - and you watched him in amazement. That was quite a mystical orgasm, if you had to describe it in some way. Dan Heng stared at you, finally uncovering his face entirely.
"You don't hate it?"
Oh, huh? You shook your head to awaken from your trance. "W-what?"
"This. I'm different like this. You don't hate it?" Dan Heng asked. He was still breathing heavily. With the blush on his face, tears in his eyes and the eh... Your eyes scanned his body and tried to focus on his face again. The cum all over his stomach... He looked too erotic for his own good.
"Of course I don't hate it. I love it," you said, and you leaned down and gave him a kiss. He kissed you back with passion.
"That's a relief," he muttered breathlessly before kissing you even more. You still didn't understand everything about his Vidyadhara form, except that he appeared more sensitive (and erotic?!) than in his everyday form, but still.
You were glad and loved that he finally showed the real him to you. So much that you would let him get away with his silly lies. Even the next day, Dan Heng claimed he did not overhear your chat with March, and that he 'just felt like' finally transforming by your side. Such a lovely little liar!

Hello hello!!! I just saw your kink/flufftober post and wondered if I could request “biting” with barbatos? It can be either fluff of nsfw, whichever gets the creative juices flowing more! As always, love the work you do here, thank you!!!!
Hello and thank you I'm so glad you're enjoying my writing! <3
I was doing so well keeping within my word count limit until now. I can't act like I'm surprised, it's Barbatos we're talking about lol. And I decided to use this as a kink prompt because ooooof I love biting. So you know, having two things I very much enjoy as a prompt ended up with something slightly longer than perhaps intended. But I think it turned out okay still!
Thank you for submitting a prompt!
KINKTOBER 2023
GN!MC x Barbatos
NSFW MDNI
Warnings: biting, a little bit of blood, oral and penetration (both reader receiving)
You were in the kitchen at the Demon Lord's Castle, helping Barbatos make red velvet cupcakes. Since it was a flavor from the human world, you had agreed to help out with making them, passing final judgment on how they turned out. You were currently mixing the red food coloring into the batter. While the recipe you had used was a classic red velvet recipe, the bright color of the cake still needed that extra vibrancy from the food coloring.
Barbatos was beside you, mixing vanilla into the frosting.
Normally, Barbatos entered a sort of flow when baking. It was almost meditative, the way he moved around the kitchen so easily. But at that moment, you noticed that he seemed a little distracted. Certainly the frosting was looking delicious, but he seemed to be focused elsewhere.
You stopped what you were doing and looked over at him. He froze, meeting your eyes for a moment before flicking his gaze down to your fingers.
You looked down at your hands and saw that they were covered in red food coloring.
You laughed a little. "Sorry," you said. "I'm making a mess, huh? Is that why you're so distracted?"
Barbatos closed his eyes and frowned. "You needn't apologize, MC. I'm afraid seeing that brilliant red on your skin has made me think of things I shouldn't."
You were puzzled by this response. You cocked your head curiously. "Such as…?"
Barbatos opened his eyes and the hunger you saw there made heat run through you. Barbatos put down the spatula he'd been using to mix the vanilla into the frosting and took one of your hands instead. He brought it to his lips and kissed away some of the red. The way it painted his lips was so sensual your knees went weak.
You let out a little gasp as Barbatos circled behind you, putting his red stained lips to your neck. You had to grip the kitchen counter for support as he sucked for a moment, his arms going around your waist.
Barbatos let his teeth scrape gently across your skin as he pulled his lips away. "Forgive me, MC. I am not sure what has come over me."
His arms moved as if he was about to move away from you, but you put both of your hands on them. You didn't care that you were likely getting red food coloring on him. You just wanted to hold him in place. "Don't stop."
Barbatos pressed himself into you and there was no mistaking the erection you felt against you as he put his lips back on your neck.
You moaned as he bit down gently, as though he couldn't resist but he also didn't want to hurt you too much.
You deliberately pushed yourself back against him, making it clear that you knew how turned on he already was.
Barbatos laughed softly against your neck. "What is it you would like from me, MC?"
"I want you to bite harder," you said.
Barbatos put his lips on your ear. "As you wish."
A tingle ran up your spine at the sound of his voice in your ear. He turned you around in his arms, then lifted you bodily. He set you down on the kitchen counter, on a spot that was far away from where you had been attempting to make red velvet cupcakes.
In moments, Barbatos had removed your clothes and put his lips on your inner thighs. Your hands flew to his head, fingers running through his hair. You gasped and tried desperately not to pull when he bit down on the sensitive skin there, harder than before just as you had asked. He worked his way up your thigh, biting the whole time, making you gasp and whine as he did.
When he finally put his tongue between your legs, you cried out his name, your legs squeezing around his head involuntarily. He stayed there for a long time, but he never let you get too close to orgasming.
Barbatos finally stood up, causing you to whine and grip at his arms unhappily. You squirmed on the counter top as you tried to pull him closer to you. He obliged, moving closer to stand between your knees.
Barbatos reached out and put his fingertips to your neck where he had been biting it earlier. He wasn't wearing his gloves, of course, he had taken them off long before you even started baking. Now his fingers were covered in the red food coloring.
"Barbatos," you said as you pulled on his pants, unzipping them and pulling out his cock. You rubbed it in your hands for a moment before looking at him. "Please."
"Normally I would not allow such a mess to occur on my kitchen counter," Barbatos said quietly, putting his hands on either side of you and leaning in to your neck once again. "But I'm afraid you've awakened something in me, MC."
You wrapped your arms around his shoulders in an attempt to pull him closer. You realized that the counter here was a bit lower than it was in most of the other places in the kitchen. Which meant that you were at the perfect height. You smirked a little when you realized that Barbatos knew exactly what he was doing when he placed you here.
The smirk was gone in an instant as Barbatos pressed his cock into you, his teeth leaving marks on your neck at the same time, his hands gripping your hips. You had to hold on because as soon as he was inside you, Barbatos did not hold back. You felt your entire body heat up as he thrust fast and hard, his teeth continuing down your neck. He reached up to pull your top out of the way so he could bite down your shoulder.
The sweetness of his cock inside you mixed with the pleasurable pain of his teeth was almost too much sensation. You couldn't hold still and you couldn't keep quiet. You were already close from when he was using his tongue and it wasn't long before you were crying out, clamping hard around him. You felt his cum inside you only moments later.
When Barbatos pulled away to look at you, the red of the food coloring was still bright against his lips, but there was a slightly darker red next to it now. He leaned back in and kissed the bite marks he had left.
"Your blood is much prettier than this food coloring," he said softly in your ear. "I do hope I did not hurt you too much by drawing it."
You sighed against him, leaning your head on his shoulder. "Next time you can add the food coloring to the batter."
Barbatos chuckled, taking your face in his hands and kissing you. Later you would need to wash the red off your hands as well as your lips, cheeks, neck, and thighs.

tw: I guess the soft/light yandere with how I write Horus; again smut
Perhaps you were jealous of how the Lady of the Iron Warriors could always stay with her husband perfectly safe. Though it made sense after all how safe the mistress of the siege was. But you? You had to stay until you could be summoned or till he returned to you which left you long lonely months without your husband or worse you fear given how the Great Crusade was going in certain parts it could be years given how some Primarchs do compliance... Perhaps that's why the Lord of Iron keeps the Lady of Iron close you once more jealously think.
"Should I tell Rogal that something in the wall has offended your sensibilities?" That warm voice flows over you as you are wrapped in his aura like a warm hug. Horus' aura felt like the wolf pelt on his armor was draped over you... it was warm and you could easily be smothered by how large it was.
"No... I just was thinking." You sigh as you wander over to him and feel the physical warm embrace. You couldn't wear anything to bed if Horus was joining you given how hot his body ran.
"What has got you thinking?"
"How I will miss you when you leave." You say with a sigh, "How much I will miss you... how I'm jealous of the Lady of the fourth given she can stay with Perturabo."
Horus chuckles, "He would get so sour without her around for more than a few months."
"How do you manage?" You ask looking up into his bright honey colored eyes.
"It's very hard but I know if I can finish the fighting quickly then I can get you to join me."
"Just it gets so quiet when you're gone." You lean against his arm as you pet his chest slowly feeling the way his arms wrap around you tightly.
"I'm sorry it gets quiet." He says in a whisper and you smile softly looking up at him with a loving look in your eyes but you blink looking at that intense look in his eyes. The tearing of fabric meets your ears just as your bare back meets the bed. Your head spinning as Horus moved you too quickly for your brain to comprehend that you moved through three rooms in a blink. "How about I make it up to you? I'll give you something to keep you busy." He says with his hands running down your waist before he snatches up the lube.
Excitement rushes down your spine as you try to slow him down and yet you're excited for the burn of the stretch aided by the lube... the slight discomfort that comes with him pushing his cock inside of your well trained body. Made for him as he often says and you shiver at the thoughts of his deep voice telling you how you were made for this moment... made to scream under him... made to be his perfect little partner... and while you didn't believe in a higher power you believed him. Screamed his name out instead of some deity as he easily took its place in your life... though that did change when he was away.
He made you feel so warm and fuzzy in the head. Your eyes rolling back as his hips met yours again and again... you ignored the way he was talking to someone else... were they in the room? Was it over his vox? It didn't matter what he said was all the same... The Legion Mother is feeling her usual upset before we part again. I am comforting her we will meet later... all you could do was open your mouth slightly and croak out his name.
"I'm going to give you a baby! So many babies to keep you distracted while I'm gone!" He says effortlessly without a grunt in his voice were a lesser man would have to given how eagerly he was spearing himself inside of you and it wouldn't stop until you passed out overflowing with his cum. He grinned down at you, "Certainly this time it will take!"

The elevator lobby echoes with the shuffling of your feet and the thud of the cardboard box shifting within your grasp. Your new apartment complex seems to grow larger with each step, the space stretching endlessly as you aim for one of the metal doors. The box, marked “fragile,” presses into your arms, and beads of sweat drip down your forehead as you internally curse at yourself for your excessive overpacking and stubbornness.
You don’t know who or what made you believe you were capable of doing this move entirely by yourself, but you are now facing the consequences for past you's groundless self-confidence. As you take a step forward, your arms wobble under the strain, and the box slips precariously, threatening to escape your grasp. You tighten your grip, determined not to let the flimsy box defeat you. You were not going to let a box labeled fragile, of all things, be the reason for your demise. No way.
While attempting to steady yourself, you vaguely hear a loud ping reverberate throughout the lobby. Like the easily hyperfixated person you are, you pay no mind to it, focusing only on the task at hand. The last thing you need is to drop the box and have its contents shatter against the floor. You would never forgive yourself.
Just as you pause to readjust the box, the elevator door opens, and footsteps follow it. A tall, dark-haired woman with bangs stumbles into the opening, her phone in her hands. She stops in her tracks, clearly distracted, and you foolishly walk straight into her.
The box falls from your grasp, and as it plummets to the ground, you have an out-of-body experience. This was it. The box is going to hit the ground, and you will have lost this uphill battle. In slow motion, you watch the box tilt backward and forwards, suspended in midair for what seems like forever until, suddenly, you feel your hand wrap around it. As you blink away the stars clouding your vision, you register that you've saved the box from certain doom, just barely. A sigh of relief escapes your lips.
A triumphant smile graces your lips as you clutch the box tightly. It’s a bit more crumpled than before, but it is still very much in one piece (ignoring the fact that the fragile item inside the box was most definitely broken). Gravity was no match for your superior reflexes.
As you look up, your smile falters. Your eyes widen, and you feel heat rise to your cheeks. You just ran into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen, and she is staring at you. Her eyes, framed by thick-rimmed glasses, gaze at you, wide and unblinking. She looks at you as if you were the most embarrassing thing she has ever seen, and it takes all your willpower not to turn around and run back down the hall.
Her long, dyed black hair hangs in a braid down her shoulder. Her outfit consists of a plain, oversized black t-shirt, baggy pants, and a pair of worn nikes. The only pops of color are the bright yellow socks poking out from underneath the white shoes, and the streaks of blonde in her hair.
"Oh, my god, I am so sorry!" you finally manage, stumbling over your words. "I should've been paying attention to where I was going."
The woman seems to snap out of her daze with a vigorous shake of her head. "No, no, it's fine. Don't worry about it," she responds with a small laugh. Her voice is light and melodic, and the sound makes your heart skip a beat. She glances down at her phone, and a slight frown creases her forehead. "I wasn't watching where I was going either."
You give a small, awkward chuckle in response, but you feel your nerves ease a little. She didn't seem weirded out, thank the stars.
She glances down at the box, and her eyes widen as if she is just noticing its existence.
"Here, let me help you," she says as she effortlessly picks up and takes the box from your hands before you can even think to say no, a shiver running up your spine at the contact.
"You really don't have to," you protest weakly, making much of an effort to actually stop her.
"It's the least I can do after making you almost drop the box." She gives you a warm smile, and the butterflies in your stomach start dancing wildly.
"Thank you." You return the smile, feeling the corners of your mouth twitch.
She turns on her heel and gestures to the elevator doors. "Where are you headed?" she asks, pressing the up button with her elbow.
"Uh, floor 8," you answer. She nods, and when the elevator doors open, the two of you step inside.
The combination of the woman's vanilla-scented perfume and elevator music does little to soothe your anxiety. You stand side-by-side in awkward silence. You shift uncomfortably, feeling your cheeks burn. What do you even say to a person this gorgeous? You clear your throat and will the courage to speak. You are an adult. You can talk to people. You got this! Just be casual. Easy peasy. Just say words! Just. say. them.
"So, uh, is this your first time using the elevator?" You wince.
Maybe not those words.
"No, I usually use the stairs." She says with a giggle, seemingly unfazed by your pathetic attempt at conversation. "But, um, is this your first time here?"
You nod. "I just moved here today." You pause. "How did you know?"
"I just—haven't seen you here before," she says simply, looking you up and down with an expression you can't quite decipher. "I'm Bada, by the way."
"Bada," you repeat, testing out the name on your tongue. It sounds nice. You smile, and the tips of your ears grow hot. "I'm Y/N."
"Y/N." She returns your smile. "Nice to meet you."
"Likewise." Your fingers fidget with the hem of your shirt. Your eyes wander over to the numbers lit up on the panel, and your face pales when you see that the two of you are already on the eighth floor. The elevator slowly comes to a stop, and you swallow thickly. "Well, I guess this is my stop," you say as you step into the hallway.
"Did you want me to walk you to your apartment? This is actually the floor that I-" Bada starts, but a faint chime rings out before she can finish. She pulls her phone out, holding the box with one arm, and frowns at the screen.
"Ah, damn, I gotta go," she says. She looks back up at you and gives you a smile, although a little less bright. "I'm going to be late for a meeting. Do you think you can manage?"
You stare, momentarily perplexed by the kindness this random stranger is displaying towards you, but then you catch yourself, and smile.
You shake your head, waving a hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it, I've got it. I'm a big girl," you reassure her. "Thank you for helping me, though."
She hands the box over, and your fingers brush again, sending a jolt of electricity up your arm.
"Of course," she replies, smiling. "Anytime. It was nice meeting you."
"Yup."
You give each other a brief wave, and you watch the elevator doors slide shut.
As you stare at the spot she was once at, you feel a pang of disappointment in your chest. You wish you could have gotten to know her better, but there was always another day. You lived in the same building, after all. Maybe you'd run into her again.
You struggle with the box a bit more, and then you finally enter your apartment, the door clicking shut behind you.
The first thing you do is drop the box in the entryway and walk over to the nearest wall. You lean your back against it, sliding down until your butt hits the ground. You sit there for a moment, gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling window across the room, trying to process everything that just happened. And, well, everything else that's been happening in your life.
As the sun dips below the skyline, casting long shadows across the city, you find yourself finally having to wrestle with contrasting feelings of excitement over this fresh start, mingled with a weariness that's settled into your bones after a day of moving boxes and thinking of the uncertainty surrounding the days ahead of you.
Just a month ago, you made the spontaneous decision to move to chase your dreams in Seoul, a country an entire ocean away from where you're from. Now you are in a new city, a new apartment, a potential new job, and you have mixed feelings. You're excited about the possibilities but also scared of the loneliness you know is inevitable. It is a loneliness that is necessary, though. You’ve spent too long stuck, moping about your unfortunate circumstances in the same mundane city you grew up in. You were aching for something new. As terrified as you are, you know that it’ll eventually feel worth it. It has to.
In the meantime, your living space echoes with emptiness and awaits your touch. Exhausted but determined, you eventually drag yourself off the ground, the weight of the day catching up to you, but not stopping you.
You scan the space in front of you, surrounded by the remnants of your previous life, now neatly packed into cardboard containers. The living room, cluttered with boxes marked "pictures," "books," and "memories," feels too overwhelming, so you decide to tackle the kitchen first. Igniting your last reserves of energy, you unpack your pots and pans as your thoughts drifts to old routines. As the clock ticks away and you find new sacred spots for your favorite items, your exhaustion begins to fade as you infuse the space with pieces of yourself, fueled by the realization that this is your sanctuary that you could call your own.
By the time you empty your last box for the day, the apartment glows with your presence. It’s nowhere near finished, but you already feel as if your choices have been validated. You collapse onto your makeshift bed, and as you close your eyes, a smile plays on your lips.

"I asked for three and three-quarter pumps of brown sugar. Is this really the best you can do?"
You stare at the cup sitting before you. Three and three-quarters, your ass. Who the hell was going to measure that? You glance up at the man before you. His face is contorted into a snarl as he glares at you, as if he expects an apology. It takes everything in you not to throw the steaming hot cup of coffee in his face.
"Sir, I'm sorry, but I believe that this is indeed three and one half—i mean—three quarter pumps," you lie, attempting to brush past your stumble in the calmest voice possible. You try to muster a professional smile, but it's a difficult feat.
"Bullshit. You clearly can't read a scale properly or hear. Just do it over, and make it right. Three and three QUARTERS," He huffs, shoving the cup in your direction.
Your fists clench behind the counter. "Yes, sir," you mutter through gritted teeth, your politeness hanging by a thread.
You dump his original drink in the trash and grab a fresh cup. The man watches as you add the pumps, one by one, ensuring that each one is added correctly. It is, and instead of being grateful that you did not put three and three-quarters of spit in his cup, he rolls his eyes, mumbling to himself about younger generations being too lazy to do their jobs right the first time. He takes the cup from you, without saying thank you, and struts off.
You sigh, shaking your head. You needed to get your blood pressure checked.
"You okay?" a voice asks.
You turn around, coming face to face with your coworker, Mijoo. She stands before you, leaning against the counter, a sympathetic smile on her face.
You groan, running a hand over your face. "I don't know how much longer I can take this. How have you worked here for this long?" you reply, your voice muffled by your hands.
Mijoo shrugs. "Honestly, you get used to it after a while. And on the rare occasion that you run into a genuinely nice customer, I promise they make up for the hundreds of shitty interactions."
Without moving your hands from your face, you state, “That doesn't make me feel any better."
Mijoo laughs, bright and bubbly, and pats your shoulder. "Don't worry, it'll get easier, I promise. You'll be desensitized in no time! Seriously, I feel nothing when people call me stupid, or an imbecile, or a bitch-"
You frown, dropping your hands. "Mijoo, that's awful."
Mijoo sighs and walks around the counter to wrap her arm around your shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze. "Just don't stress about it, okay? You'll be fine. Plus, we've got each other!"
You return the gesture, wrapping an arm around her waist. "You're right."
Mijoo has been your rock throughout this whole process. She was the one who interviewed you for this crappy job, and she was the one who showed you the ropes inside and outside of the cafe you work at. In addition to showing you her go-to spot in the cafe for mental breakdowns, she's shown you her favorite spots in Seoul. If it weren't for her, you're sure you'd be a complete and utter wreck.
"What would I do without you?" you ask.
Mijoo chuckles, squeezing you tighter. "Probably have a lot more panic attacks," she replies, causing the two of you to erupt in laughter.
The alarm on your phone blares, signaling that it's time for you to go home. You and Mijoo share a dejected glance. You hated leaving her alone at the shop, but she always insisted that you go home before the rush. You had no choice but to agree.
"See you tomorrow," you tell her as you shrug on your jacket.
"Bright and early," she responds, throwing you a wave.
"Are you at least going home soon?"
She shakes her head. "Nah, I've got a few things I need to finish up, so I'll probably be here for a few more hours. I'll lock up."
You sigh. "Alright, but please text me when you get home."
She smiles, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Will do. Now, go. Go home and get some sleep, you deserve it."
You make your way to the entrance, giving Mijoo one last glance. She waves to you, a big grin on her face. When you open the door and step out, the bell above you chimes.
As the crisp air hits your face, you can feel the tension drain from your body. A content smile graces your lips, and you can feel your mood instantly improving. Even though your job was stressful, there was nothing quite like coming home after a long shift.
The sun has already begun to set, and the streets are bustling. People pass by you, not paying attention as they make their way home. Some have earphones in, while others are on their phones. You watch as couples and groups of friends chat and laugh as they make their way to whatever destination they have in mind. You feel a small pang of loneliness in your chest.
Your apartment isn't too far from your work, so you reach your destination quickly despite the heaviness in your heart. You're exhausted, and all you want to do is go home, cook dinner, and crawl into bed.
You ride the elevator to your floor, and you're reminded of the time you ran into Bada months ago. Her name echoed through your head every time you heard this elevator music, which was every day. You haven't seen her since that day, which wasn't really a surprise. It was a big building.
When the doors open, you make a beeline to your door, fishing your keys out of your pocket. As soon as you unlock your door, you practically skip inside. You immediately slip off your shoes and toss your jacket and keys onto the counter. You let out a satisfied sigh as you plop down on the couch, closing your eyes. You stay like that for a few moments, listening to the quiet hum of the air conditioner. After a few minutes, you hear your phone ping. Yelping, you sit up and pull it out of your pocket, hoping it's the text you've been anticipating from a landlord. Disappointment settles in the pit of your stomach when you see it's just a spam email. Groaning, you drop the phone onto the couch next to you.
You sit there, wallowing in your misery and loneliness. The quiet hum of the AC does little to soothe your worries.
You miss your friends, but the distance has made it hard for them to keep up with you, and vice versa. They all had lives, and jobs, and families. But you didn't. All you had was an empty apartment. And you had Mijoo, but you felt terrible relying on her for everything.
As you’re ruminating on the pathetic reality of your social life, a loud bang comes from the wall behind you. You jump in shock and quickly turn to look at the source. You can barely make out a muffled, feminine voice, saying something that sounds like a curse. Seconds later, music starts playing through the walls. Loud, bass-heavy music. You sit up, your hand hovering over the plaster, feeling perplexed. You haven't heard anyone in the apartment next to you since you moved in. You just assumed you were neighborless. Maybe someone new moved in? You haven't seen anyone with boxes or anything all week, though, and there's no way someone just managed to move in within the last 8 hours.
A beat passes. You can feel the vibrations from the loud music rattling the walls. You frown, and walk over to the wall. You raise a hand and knock loudly, but it's useless. You sigh. There was no way you could relax with this noise.
You turn away from the wall, and pick your phone up in case you need to dial 119 during this confrontation. You make your way out into the hallway, slamming the door shut behind you and ignoring how your heart pounds in your ears. You walk to the door next to yours and, after a moment of hesitation, knock loudly. The music stops, and your heartbeat slows. The door remains closed, so you knock again, even harder this time.
After what feels like an eternity, the door finally swings open, revealing a woman you thought you'd never see again.
"Bada?" you question, bewildered.
"Hey," she replies, sounding equally surprised. She's wearing sweatpants and a black tank top, and her hair is in a messy ponytail. You can smell a faint hint of sweat. She's still gorgeous, though.
"What are you doing here?" you ask, trying to hide your shock.
She looks behind her, as if to verify that she's in the correct place, then turns back around. "This is my apartment," she states, slowly, as if she's speaking to a child requiring stabilization.
"Since when?"
She laughs at this, and your heart flutters. "Since I've lived here. Which is a long time, considering this is the second year."
"No, I mean," you pause, searching for the right words. "I haven't seen you around? I mean, you're right next door. There's no way I could've missed you."
Her lips form an 'o' shape, and she nods. "Ah, well, I travel a lot for work so I haven't been home much. I was out of the country for a while."
You nod, "Oh. That makes sense. Well, see ya!"
You turn on your heel and make your way back towards your apartment, embarrassment beginning to flood through your body, when Bada's voice stops you.
"Hey, wait."
You turn around, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah?"
She looks amused. "Are you going to tell me why you came knocking? Or did you just want to see me?"
Your eyes widen and your cheeks burn. "What? No, I'm sorry, I-"
She interrupts you with a laugh. "Relax, I'm joking."
You nod, feeling relieved. You weren't sure why this woman made you feel so incompetent. "Well, it’s the music. It's really loud, and-"
"Oh, shit," she cuts in, her eyes widening. "I'm sorry, I forgot. I'm not used to having neighbors. It's been a while since someone lived next door."
"It's totally fine, it's just...a bit much."
"Gotcha," she replies.
You stare at each other for a few seconds, and you can feel yourself begin to sweat. You clear your throat. "Well, I should probably go now."
She nods, a slight frown on her face. "Okay. See you around."
"See ya," you reply, awkwardly, before walking away.
When you reach your door, you let out a deep breath As annoyed and embarrassed as you were, seeing her again was a bit of a pleasant surprise. She seemed even more beautiful now than she did in the elevator. Your mind wanders back to the sleeveless shirt she had on. The hair bun that gave you a clear view of her neck, her jawline, her collarbones.
You shake the thought from your head and walk into your apartment. You needed to put yourself out there, soon. It’s been too long since you’ve felt a woman’s touch, and now you can barely look at an attractive woman without spiraling into a frenzy.
You decide to go take a shower and call it an early night, hoping that a session with Rosalia 3000 will ease your mind.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
You stand behind the counter, boredly wiping down the surfaces. It's a slow day, and Mijoo is off, finally using her vacation days. The cafe is mostly empty, save for a few students studying in the corner. You've already cleaned the entire place twice today, and the clock hasn't even struck 4 o'clock yet. It was days like these that you hated most. As much as you disliked angry customers, having to stand behind the counter doing nothing all day was enough to make you want to claw your eyes out.
You sigh, and lean back against the counter. You check your phone, just in case you missed any messages you’ve been waiting for. When the screen loads, the familiar white background greets you, with no new notifications.
You lock the screen, and stuff the device into the pocket of your apron. You look around the cafe, hoping to find something to occupy your mind. Your eyes land on the display cases of cakes on the far end of the counter, and an idea pops into your head.
You grab a bag of flour, sugar, eggs, milk, and baking powder from the storage room. You mix the ingredients together, and add a few teaspoons of vanilla extract. After about ten minutes, the batter is ready, and you scoop some into a pastry bag. You start to pipe the dough into shapes, filling the space. The familiar motion relaxes you, and you can feel the stress slowly leaving your body. There were only a select few people in the cafe who were permitted to contribute to the array of treats your cafe housed. Unfortunately, you weren’t one of those people, leaving you little time to partake in your passion in between busy shifts and tiring days. You needed this.
Working quickly, you fill up the space within 30 minutes. After placing the cookies in the backoven, you start cleaning up the counter, throwing away any leftover bits of dough and tossing the used bowls and utensils into the sink. When you finish cleaning the area as best as you can, you turn back around, and your eyes widen as you realize you aren't alone.
Standing before you, his arms crossed, is the man with the ridiculous coffee order from a couple days ago. Yikes.
"Um," you begin, trying to keep your voice from wavering."Can I help you?"
"I’ve been standing here for two minutes,” he begins, and you can hear the aggravation in his voice. "Do you not know how to do your job?"
"I-"
"So you’re not just a terrible barista, you’re a terrible worker too,” he spits out.“There are barely any people in this cafe and you can’t keep up?”
You clench your jaw, trying to keep the anger bubbling up inside of you at bay. "Sir, I apologize for not noticing you sooner, but I’ll be happy to assist you now."
"Yeah, I’m sure. Where’s your manager?”
Your eye twitches. “He isn’t here right now. I can assure you I’ll be able to help you with anything you need."
"Well do you have a way to contact him? A phone number? Zoom?”
You shake your head. "Sorry, sir. Our manager prefers that we only contact him when he is away if there’s an emergency.”
He releases a maniacal laugh, then immediately straightens his face. “Is this not an emergency? How is this not an emergency when the service in this shop is so fucked that you don’t see a customer standing in plain sight for ten minutes?”
You blink. “I thought—never mind. Sir, again, I’m terribly sorry. If you’d like, I can give you this drink on the house and—"
He cuts you off. "I don't want a refund. I want better quality of service…”
He drones on, and at this point you tune him out. There was nothing you could do or say to satisfy him. Really, the irony of the situation just made you want to laugh. He was complaining about you wasting his time, and by doing so was wasting even more time. Did this man actually have a job other than being a menace to innocent baristas? Probably not. As you mindlessly watch the man flail his arms in exasperation, you hear the bell above the entrance ring. You’re about to glance over, when the man in front of you slams his palm on the counter, demanding your attention.
"I'm not done yet! I've spent the last fifty six minutes telling you everything you're doing wrong, and you've barely apologized. In fact—"
"I'm sorry, sir, but if you don’t calm down I’m going to have to ask you to leave.” You cut him off, your voice surprisingly steady.
"What?" His mouth hangs open.
You cross your arms. "You are disrupting the environment and harassing me.”
"Harassing?" He repeats, incredulously. "Are you fucking kidding me? Who the hell are you to tell me what to do? You don’t have the authority to kick me out.”
You roll your eyes. "I'm not kicking you out. You are free to stay and order anything you'd like. If, however, you choose to continue to cause a scene, I'll have no choice but to have you escorted off the premises."
His eyes narrow, and this time he crosses his arms. "Yeah? And who’s gonna escort me?”
Customer service thrown out the window, you open your mouth to call him a prickly little bitch, but are interrupted by the sudden appearance of a hooded figure walking up beside him.
"Leave her alone," a familiar voice states. You look over, and realize the individual you’re looking at is Bada, who towers over the man beside her.
The man scoffs, and looks her up and down. "Excuse me? Mind your own.”
"This is her cafe, and she has a right to kick you out if you're being disruptive."
"I'm not bothering anyone," the man retorts.
"Well, you’re bothering me. I’ve had to stand here and watch you squeal for the past few minutes and quite frankly it's starting to piss me off. If you don’t leave, I'll escort you out myself."
The man opens his mouth, presumably to spit some more venom, but the sight of Bada's clenched fists and murderous glare causes him to snap his mouth shut. He glares at the two of you for a moment, before turning on his heel and stalking off.
Both of you watch him leave. As the door closes behind him, you witness the door swing shut with surprising speed, smacking into Mr. Grumpington's rear end just as he reaches the threshold. Stumbling forward with a startled yelp, his briefcase flies out of his grasp, scattering papers across the sidewalk.
Your hand flings up, over your mouth as you observe him stand slowly, his knees wobbling. A woman and her child pass by him with bewildered expressions, and you repress your laughter. Once he gathers himself, he shoots a withering glare in the direction of the café, and storms off.
Old man finally gone, Bada turns back to you, her expression soft. "Sorry. I know I probably overstepped, but I saw the whole thing and I was worried he was going to hurt you.”
You sober up and shake your head, smiling slightly. "No, it's okay. He was being an asshole and I didn't know what to do with him. I'm glad you were here."
Bada returns your smile, and you're once again taken aback by her. “Anytime."
"I have cookies, if you'd like some," you offer, suddenly remembering the sweets baking in the oven. "On the house, for the trouble."
Bada's eyes light up. "I'd love some! And an iced latte, please.”
You nod. "Sure. Have a seat and I'll bring it out."
Bada takes a seat in a booth in the corner, and pulls out a laptop. As the coffee brews, you glance at her as she types and reads something on the screen, her expression concentrated. She purses her lips as as she focuses on whatever she’s looking at, and you find yourself staring.
She looks up, catching your eye. You blush, and spin around to face the display case, pretending to wipe it down. You grab the iced latte and a plate of cookies, and walk over to Bada.
"Thanks!" she says, smiling, and grabs a cookie. She takes a bite and hums in satisfaction.
"Good, right?" you question, a smile tugging at your lips.
"So good!" she affirms, her cheeks full of the pastry.
You break into a wide grin that you’re not sure is because of the woman’s cuteness, or the pride blooming in your chest. "Thanks. I made them."
She raises her eyebrows. "Wait, really? Woah. I'm impressed."
Playing nonchalant, you shrug. "It's whatever."
She laughs. "It's not whatever! These would sell out in seconds if you displayed them in here," she remarks, grabbing another one.
You're reminded of the call you're still waiting on, and try to dispel the anxiousness growing inside you. That’s the plan, just not here. You decide not to bring that up, though. You dont wanting to put a damper her spirits with your oversharing.
But you're not tired of hearing her praises. "You think?"
"Definitely,” she confirms. "I'll come by every day to buy a dozen.”
"I'll hold you to it."
"Please do," she responds, and you swear you detect a hint of flirtation in her voice. Before you can retort, a notification pops up on her computer, and her eyes dart down. She sighs.
"Everything alright?" you ask.
She nods, but her brows are furrowed. "Yeah. I'm just stressed. My job has been keeping me super busy lately."
You nod, and hesitate before asking, "If you don't mind me asking, what do you do?"
"Oh," she answers, her face clearing up. "I'm a dancer. And I choreograph for kpop groups."
Your eyes widen. "Whoa. That's cool."
"Thanks," she responds. She pauses for a moment, and she looks like she wants to say more. "It is, but...I don't know, sometimes these companies get on my nerves." She says with a tired laugh.
You're a bit surprised by her confession, and the dejected look on her face makes your heart hurt. "What do you mean?"
She shrugs. "They're never quite satisfied with what we do and it sucks, you know? The only time I have fun is when I'm working with a company that doesn't treat their artists like shit."
You frown. "Yeah, I can't even begin to imagine how frustrating that is. I'm sorry."
She smiles, looking sheepish. "No, I'm sorry for venting. It's been a long week."
You shake your head. "Don't apologize. You're saving me from having to clean the counter for the nth time today."
She smirks. "I thought the jerk from earlier was already doing that?"
"Oh god, please don't bring him up again." You groan, and she giggles in a way that makes your chest warm.
"Don't worry. He won't bother you anymore. I scared him away," she says, wiggling her eyebrows.
You laugh, and a comfortable silence falls between the two of you. You're about to ask her another question when you hear the bell on the door chime. You look over, and see a group of college students walking in. Your stomach drops.
"Guess it's time for me to actually do my job,” you mutter.
She nods. "What time do you get off? Maybe we could talk more after you're done? Walk home together?"
Walk home together? You should’ve put on a better perfume today. "Sure, but I'm gonna be here for another couple hours."
She slaps her hands together. “That’s actually perfect. I have a bunch of videos to review anyway. I'll be here." She gives you a small wave, and returns to her laptop. You walk away, unable to contain your grin.
And she is there. As the night drags on, as the rush comes in and finally calms, as the clock strikes 8, and as you close the doors.
You turn the keys, locking the door. You turn around, and she's there, waiting for you, laptop in hand. She kicks a rock and it skitters away, hitting a lamppost. When she notices you watching, she offers a shy smile.
"Ready to go?" she asks.
"Sure am," You respond, and the two of you start heading down the street.
The air is warm and the night sky is clear, the stars twinkling brightly. You glance over at her, and admire the way the streep lamps lights up her face. Her eyes are focused ahead, and you stare at her profile. She notices you staring, and turns her head, smiling softly.
"What's up?" she questions.
You shake your head and face forward, wanting to crawl in a hole at your slip-up. "Nothing." You feel the heat rise to your cheeks. This is silly. You've seen this woman plenty of times recently. Hell, you were just in the cafe together not even fifteen ago. But now, walking side-by-side with her, the air between you heavy, you can't help but feel a need to impress her. The idea that you could possibly have a friendship (or more?) with her makes your heart soar. It's silly, and maybe a bit childish, but you're not one to let a good feeling pass by. So, you take a chance, wanting to make this work.
"So, I don't know much about you, but I'd love to," you begin, and her gaze darts towards you. "Tell me about yourself. You said you were a dancer, right?"
"Oh, yeah." She nods. "I started dancing when I was a kid. It was fun, but I didn't start taking it seriously until I was older. I started out doing covers, and eventually landed an audition with a company. That's how I got my foot in the door, and then I kept climbing and now I'm here."
"That's amazing," you tell her. "I'm guessing it's a lot of hard work?"
She nods. "Definitely. It's rewarding, though."
You want to know more, so you ask her more questions, and you follow into comfortable chatter as she tells you all about her life. She asks you a few questions too, some of which you avoid, like why you moved here, or why you're working at the cafe that you obviously dislike. But, overall, the conversation flows easily, and before you know it, the two of you are standing in front of your apartment building.
As the two of you approach the lobby, Bada speaks. "We should do this more often."
"Which part? Walking home together, or me talking your ear off about the ending of Twenty-Five Twenty-One?"
"Mostly the first part. Although I didn't mind hearing you talk about that kdrama. The lead actress is really hot."
You snort, and she follows suit. "You know, I'm glad you came into the cafe today," you confess.
"Me too." She responds, and the two of you stop in front of your door. You're unsure of what to say next, but Bada steps forward, and you tense. Was this really happening?
But then she's inching away, her hands tucked into her pockets. You relax, and ignore the slight disappointment built up in your chest. Duh, you think, shaking your head. What were you expecting?
"Well, have a good night." You say, offering her a small smile.
"You too," she says. "I'll see you soon."
She waves, and you watch her go, before unlocking the door and walking into the apartment. You close your door behind you, and lean against it, releasing a breath.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Over the next week, you see Bada in passing in the hallway multiple times. Each time she sees you, she stops and says hi, and you talk for a bit. She stops by the cafe a few times too, although she hasn't been able to walk home with you again yet, having a late-night schedule nearly everyday.
But each encounter makes your heart race, and by the end of the week, you feel like your chest might explode. You're not sure the attraction is reciprocated, but even if it is, would she actually be interested in someone like you? Someone who had to deal with a shitty customer service job, was running increasingly low on money, had a terrible sleep schedule, and was depending on one call to determine whether or not this move was a mistake? Probably not. The videos you've been watching for the past hour have made that evident.
Curiosity got the best of you, and you finally looked up Bada about an hour ago. It didn't take long for her to pop up. A ton of information about her was available, from her birthday, to her favorite food, to her shoe size. You mostly ignored that stuff, opting to watch her choreography videos instead. A horrible mistake. She was undeniably talented and captivating, and watching her perform made you feel a million things all at once, the most powerful being desire, much to your dismay. Why was that woman always humping the floor?
After watching the last video, which was a choreography of a popular girl group's song, you shut your computer and lean back on the couch. You stare at the wall separating your apartment from hers, wondering what she's doing right now. Is she getting ready for bed? Did she have a busy day? Is she thinking of you, like how you're thinking of her? Doubtful, but the thought makes your stomach flip.
A notification from your phone interrupts your pity party. You assume it's a notification about a delivery you have coming, but you're surprised to see a text from one of your hometown friends.
Jasmine: heyyy how is everything going over there!
Jasmine: opened up your dream bakery yet?
Not this. You really, really do not want to get into this right now, especially with your friends and family from home, who had high expectations for you. But they were your friends, and you didn't want to keep them in the dark. You take a deep breath, and respond.
y/n: almost. just working at a cafe while I'm getting everything settled.
You wait a few minutes, but she doesn't respond. You sigh. Another thing you miss from home—texting your friends in real time. It would have been nice to be able to vent.
You're about to stand up when you get a response.
Jasmine: oh okay! just be careful not to fall into the same trap you were in here. I don't want you working yourself to death :(
y/n: i won't.
Jasmine: good.
Jasmine: anyway, met anybody cute out there yet?
You stare at the screen, and you can't help but smile.
y/n: yes.
Jasmine: OMG!!!
Jasmine: details plz!
You laugh.
y/n: it's none of your business, lol.
Jasmine: come ooooon y/n!
y/n: nope! I don't want to jinx anything
Jasmine: fine. just keep me updated.
You're about to respond, but a knock at your front door startles you. You set your phone down, and walk over to the door, looking through the peephole, and speak of the devil: It's Bada.
You quickly comb a hand through your hair and rub the sleep out of your eyes. Taking a deep breath, you open the door, trying not to look flustered.
"Hey!" you greet.
"Hi." She responds, and you immediately recognize that something is decidedly off. She looks tense. Her brows are furrowed, and she’s avoiding eye contact, shifting her weight from side to side awkwardly. You see her clutching something behind her back, but cannot make out what it is.
"Um, are you okay?" you ask hesitantly, half-ready to grab the (tall and grown) woman to pull her inside your apartment to protect her from potential imminent dangers.
"Yeah. I just-um. I think your package was delivered to the wrong address?" She pulls her arm from behind her back, and hands you a large box with it flipped to the bottom. "Sorry."
"Oh!" you take the package, are immediately met with the recipient name printed in bold font that is, of course, addressed to you. "Thank you. Sorry about that."
"No worries." She smiles, but it doesn't reach her eyes. "I'll, uh, see you around."
"Yeah, definitely."
She walks away, and you're left standing in the doorway, a bit confused. That was...weird. You step back inside, shutting the door. You set the package down on the coffee table, and just as you are about to rip it open, you make eye contact with the imagery on the front of the package.
Your eyes widen. Oh no. How could you have forgotten?
There, plastered across the front of the box, was a clear picture of a very suggestive toy. You read the words below the image.
"Battery-Operated Love: Your Guide To The Best Vibrators, Toys, and Dildos!"
You stare. You blink. You look around, as if someone is playing a prank on you. You stare some more.
Then, you hurriedly reach for the throw pillow sitting next to you on the couch, and scream into it.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
You sigh, tapping your foot against the floor to the rhythm of humming washers. It's early morning, the sun barely peeking out, and you're currently in the laundry room in your building, waiting for your clothes to dry.
It's been a few days since your package fiasco, and Bada hasn't made another appearance. You'd say she's trying to avoid you, but in reality, you’re the one going out of your way to steer clear of her potential judgments. You've even taken to staying in late, leaving the apartment only to go to work, where you've adjusted your schedule to further avoid the woman in case she tried to stop by. You acknowledge the fact that you're probably overreacting. It wasn't that big of a deal. You're a grown woman with needs! And you weren't going to let those needs fester when you had such an accessible way of gratifying them. You couldn't let the hard work that ancient physicians put into developing such helpful products go to waste. You love to support small businesses!
Although, you weren’t a big fan of the one you ordered from this time. So much for "discreet packaging.”
You stand up, deciding to grab a drink from the vending machine outside to cool your nerves. You reach the lobby, and walk towards the corner, where the row of machines are lined up in front of windows that belong to the gym. You insert your coins, press a few buttons, and wait for your drink. The vending machine is old, and the whirring and clanging of the dispensing mechanism are loud, so it takes longer than usual.
You glance around as you wait, and your eyes finally settle on the windows. You squint, noticing a familiar silhouette performing a series of exercises.
Bada is inside, doing pull-ups. Her back is to you, and her hair is pulled into a ponytail. She's wearing a loose t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and shorts. Sweat drips from her forehead and down her back, and the muscles in her arms flex and move with each lift.
You feel your throat dry up. The machine spits out the can, and you grab it. You hesitate for a moment, and then step forward, pushing open the glass door leading into the gym as if you were moving on autopilot. You don't know what you're doing.
"Hey!" you greet.
She turns around, eyes wide, and lowers herself onto the ground. "Hi."
"How are you?" you ask.
"Good! Just finishing up my workout," she answers, reaching for the towel draped on a bench beside her.
"Cool," you answer, trying not to focus on the way her chest heaves as she catches her breath.
"What about you? Haven't seen you around lately," she says, wiping the sweat from her neck.
"I've been busy," you lie, weakly holding up your can. "Just got something from the vending machine while I'm waiting for my laundry. Probably gonna head out and run some errands after this.”
"Ah, okay." She nods, and reaches for a water bottle. You watch her tilt her head back, gulping down the liquid, her Adam's apple bobbing as she swallows. Your eyes travel to her neck, and her collarbone, which is exposed, and the droplets of sweat that rest on her skin. You watch her throat move, and suddenly, your mind is filled with images of her lips trailing down your neck, nipping at your throat, and you're overcome with desire.
You swallow, then continue rambling, trying to rid yourself of your debauched thinking. "Yup, heading over to Itaewon with a friend tonight. Probably won't be back home until tomorrow morning!" you say with the projection of a teenage boy who had his first drink yesterday. You weren't lying this time, though. After the incident, you were humbled into a state of reflection. You wanted to try putting yourself out there, and potentially find gratification beyond something that was battery-powered. Mijoo was ecstatic to hear this, and immediately sent you a list of clubs she and her friends frequented.
"Sounds fun." She takes another sip, and sets the bottle down. "Hope you have a good time. Actually, do you have time to do me a favor before you get back to your laundry?"
"What kind of favor?" you ask, a bit suspicious.
"Can you spot me?" she asks, and you're confused for a moment. She gestures towards a padded spot on the floor. "I was gonna do some more reps, and I’d really appreciate it if you could help me—um—make sure my form was right. f you don't have time, that's fine, I can ask someone else."
"No!" you answer. She jerks her head back in confusion, and you flush at your stumble. "No, I have time. I can spot you."
"Awesome! Thanks so much," she says with her signature heartwarming grin. "I'll just do a couple of sets. It shouldn't take too long.”
”I should warn you that I don’t know anything about weightlifting. Or strength exercises. Or cardio—”
"Not a problem. I’ll just do sit-ups." She reassures as she sits on the floor, and lies down.
“Oh. Okay,” you felt like you were in grade school. "Are we counting or not counting?"
"Um, counting would be helpful," she says.
You nod, and kneel beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder. You feel her tense for a second, but are quickly distracted trying not to focus on the way the damp fabric of her shirt sticks to her skin. "Okay. Ready when you are."
You count, and with each sit-up, the muscles in her arms flex, her jaw tightens, and her breathing becomes labored. You're in such close proximity to her, her arm brushes against yours every time she goes down. The heat radiating from her body is palpable, and you feel yourself begin to sweat, the air becoming hot.
When she's finished, she falls back onto the mat, and you release the breath you hadn't realized you'd been holding. She gets up, and wipes the sweat from her forehead.
"Well, that was fun," she says, standing up to grab her stuff.
"Yeah, it sure was," you murmer, trying to hide the fact that you're completely out of breath despite doing nothing but count. You stand up, and follow her out the door. "See you later, Bada."
Bada waves, looking you over once more in a manner that makes your insides twist, before turning around a speed-walking toward the elevators.
You take a minute to breathe and head back into the laundry room, where your clothes are ready. Instead of grabbing them, you collapse into one of the cheap folding chairs in the corner of the room. Your clothes are probably tinier at this point, but you can't bring yourself to move. Why did you even walk in there in the first place? You knew well that you weren’t capable of acting normal in front of that woman.
You remind yourself of your plans with Mijoo tonight. A club. In the city. With pretty people. Where alcohol was served.
You take a deep breath, and stand up, taking your clothes and throwing them in your basket.
You'd be fine.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
An ear-splitting wail from the girl next to you almost makes you drop your drink.
"I CAN'T DO THIS SHIT ANYMORE!" the woman screeches, and Mijoo, who is currently attempting to console her, rolls her eyes.
"Honey, please, don't make a scene."
"But it's true! I'm a loser, and I'm going to die alone! I might as well stop trying!”
"No, you're not, just stop drinking," Mijoo responds, her voice a few octaves higher in annoyance. She glances at you, and rolls her eyes.
The two of you are at the gay bar in Itaewon, and after an hour and a half, it seems that the night is coming to an end. Mijoo's friend, Naeun, had a mental breakdown after spotting her ex-girlfriend making out with the woman she told her not to worry about. After that, the mood was completely killed. Naeun feigned nonchalance at first. That relationship was seven months ago, she said. I’ve moved on, she said. I’ve had better, she said. it was almost convincing, until you saw her gulp down three shots at a pace you did not know was humanly possible.
And now…
"It's like, you don't listen to anything I say," Naeun sniffles, and you genuinely feel bad for her. You give her a gentle pat on the back, and she turns to hug you.
"I know, I'm a horrible friend or whatever. Let's just go home and eat ice cream or something," Mijoo sighs, and the two of you help Naeun stand.
"Yes. Thank you. You guys are the best," she whimpers. "I don't deserve you."
"Yes, you do," Mijoo assures.
"Yeah, it's all good," you chime in. "Let's just get you home. I think you've had enough alcohol for the next week. Or year."
You and Mijoo drag her out of the bar and into the streets of Itaewon. It's dark, and the neon lights illuminate the sidewalks, where drunk patrons stumble through. You're a little buzzed, and Naeun's deadweight is difficult to carry. Somehow, you manage to get her onto the subway, and inside your building, which is closest. When you reach your front door, you can't help but glance over at Bada's apartment, and are surprised to see a light peeking through the crack between the door and the frame.
"You live here?" Naeun slurs, and you nod, opening the door and dragging her in.
"We'll put her on the couch. Do you mind if we stay over?" Mijoo suggests.
"Not at all," you agree, and the two of you set her down. She groans, and closes her eyes, stretching across your couch in a starfish position. Her dress has risen all the way up to her stomach, but she doesn’t seem to care, You grimace at the sight. "Poor thing."
"She'll be fine," Mijoo says, waving her off. "Come on, I’m starving,"
You follow her into your kitchen and lean against the counter as she reaches into your fridge to pours herself a drink. So much for ice cream.
"Sorry our plans fell through," she apologizes, and you shrug.
"It's not a big deal. Shit happens. Besides, I had fun even though we were only out for, like, five seconds," you answer.
She takes a sip of the liquid in her cup. “We can try again next week? I'll make sure that Naeun is mentally stable next time."
"I don’t know. That doesn’t sound as fun,” you joke, and she grins.
"You’re so right,” she pauses as she opens your fridge back up, and gasps. "Ooh, y/n, can I have one of these?"
"One of what?" you ask, peering over her shoulder, only to find her holding cupcake that you'd made earlier. "Oh, yeah, sure. Go ahead."
She rips off the wrapper, and takes a bite, moaning. "Wow, this is—"
A loud thump sounds from the other side of the wall, and the two of you turn your heads, eyes wide.
"Is that your neighbor?" Mijoo whispers, and the two of you stand still, listening intently. There are a few more thumps, and then a sharp gasp.
"I think she's fucking someone," Mijoo whispers, and then a moan sounds from the other side, followed by a string of curse words, and the bed frame slams against the wall, a rhythmic knocking echoing throughout the apartment.
Naeun sits up from where she's sitting on the couch, and mechanically states, "I need to call her."
"Don't you dare," Mijoo growls, aggressively pointing a finger at the pitiful girl. Naeun whines, and collapses back onto the couch, and you continue to stare at the wall with wide eyes. This couldn't be happening.
You're quiet, listening to the creeks of the bed, the groans, the panting, the curses, and, despite the situation, you can’t help but feel…curious. You’d usually be irked by this situation, reminded of the particularly horrific nights you’d have when you lived with a roommate in your younger years. As made evident by the fluttering in your stomach (and in other parts of your body) you, this was not that. Not even close.
Mijoo laughs. "Oh my god, does this usually happen?"
You snap out of your stupor. "Uh, no, actually. She's usually pretty quiet."
"Really?"
"Yeah. And besides, she's sweet, so it's kind of weird hearing this, but, uh, it's whatever," you reply, attempting to ignore a squeal that vaguely resembles Bada's name.
The bed's movements pick up speed, and the sounds become louder.
"Oh my god," Mijoo murmurs, covering her ears. Naeun starts crying again.
"She's gonna fuck her to death," Naeun sobs, and then the two of you can’t help but burst into laughter. You walk over to the living room, and pat her on the back.
"Come on, let's get you to sleep," you say, helping her up. "You can have the bed. Mijoo and I will take the couch."
"Thank you, I love you both so much," she blubbers, and you drag her into the bedroom, tucking her into the bed.
"We're gonna stay in the living room, so holler if you need us, okay?" you tell her, and she nods.
"I love you guys," she slurs, and then passes out, mouth wide open.
"She’s so dramatic," Mijoo cackles as you close the door.
You and Mijoo get ready to go to sleep, and soon enough the obscene noises from next door are gone. But, as you fall asleep on the couch, they still ring in your head.

"I'm so sorry for the way I acted last night." Naeun apologizes, a pout on her face. You wave her off. “Don't worry, you're good. At least you gave us some entertainment while you were at it. Are you okay, though?"
She shrugs, adjusting the duffle bag on her shoulder. "Yeah. I mean, it was a pretty big blow, but I'll get over it. She's not worth the tears."
"Atta girl," Mijoo cooes, patting Naeun's head. She turns to you, and smiles. "Thanks for letting us stay over, y/n."
You open your front door, and wave. "Yeah, of course. I'll see you guys later."
Just as the two girls step out, the door to the apartment next to yours opens. You all look to the side, and notice a disheveled woman with blonde hair and bright red lipstick exiting into the hallway. You and Mijoo exchange glances as the woman's eyes meet yours. She gives a small, awkward smile when she notices the three of you, and then bows before hurrying down the hallway.
"Was that your neighbor?" Mijoo asks, and you shake your head.
The actual neighbor in question steps into the hallway, and the three of you watch her with wide eyes. She's wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, long hair cascading down her back.
Bewildered by your stares, she looks at the three of you with confusion.
"Hello," she greets, bowing, and the three of you bow back. "How are you?"
Naeun's eyes become the size of saucers. "Y-you're Bad—"
"Good!" Mijoo interrupts, and gives a wide, forced smile. "We're all doing well."
"That's good," Bada replies, giving a polite nod. She looks at you, and the corners of her lips quirk upwards. "Hi, y/n. Nice seeing you."
After last night’s noises, her politeness makes you want to laugh. or scream. or cry. You return the smile, gripping your doorknob until your knuckles turn white. "Yeah, nice seeing you, too."
She turns her attention back to the other two, waves, then walks off.
Mijoo and Naeun immediately whip around to face you.
"Your neighbor is Bada Lee?!" Naeun screeches.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Mijoo yells, and you step back.
"Bye guys!" you say, closing the door on the two of them.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Shortly before closing, the bell rings.
"Hello!" you chirp. "Welcome to—oh, hello!"
"Hey, y/n." Bada waves.
"Hey," you say, even though the two of you already said hello. "How are you?"
"Good, and you?"
"Great, thanks," she responds, staying put in front of the door. "Uh, I actually came here to, um, ask if you wanted to walk home together? I was just passing by, and I thought maybe we could just, like, walk back. At the same time. Since we both have to, um, go there. To our respective homes. I know it's been a while, but I thought it'd be fun. I-if you want some company, I mean. Sorry, I'll leave if you want me to, I'm just—"
"Bada," you interrupt, and she looks up, her eyes meeting yours. "I'd love to."
She blinks. "You would?"
The look of surprise on her face almost startles you back into hesitation. Why wouldn’t you want to spend time with the woman? Even with all the moments you’ve wanted to bury yourself in a hole because of your embarrassment, you couldn’t find it in yourself to ever say no.
Untying your apron from around your waist, you nod. "Yeah! Just give me a second to grab my stuff."
"Okay." She grins. "Thanks."
You pick up your belongings, clock out, and the two of you stepping outside. You lock the doors, and begin to walk towards your building.
"So, how was your night yesterday?" Bada asks, and you almost trip at the reminder of yesterday’s events.
"Uh, it was fine," you reply, clearing your throat. "What about yours?"
"Oh, it was, um, good." She nods.
I’m sure it was, you think. You look at the ground, biting the inside of your cheek. "That's good."
The two of you walk in silence, and now you feel awkward. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea. The only sounds surrounding you are of the rustling of the trees, and the occasional passing car.
"Was that your girlfriend?" she suddenly blurts out, and you whip your head around to look at her.
"Huh?"
"Last night, when I ran into the three of you in the hallway. Were one of those girls your girlfriend? Or…”
"No, neither of them," you reply, shaking your head. "One of them is Mijoo, the coworker I told you about, and her friend, Naeun. They came over after we went to a bar."
"Ah." She nods, looking at the sidewalk, and your eyes narrow. You swear you see a small smile on her face.
"What about your girl?" you ask, and her head shoots up.
"My girl?"
"Yeah. Was the girl that was over last night your girlfriend?"
"Oh, no, no, she wasn't," she quickly answers.
"Hm," you hum. And then, your next words spill from your mouth before you can even process them. "I would've thought so with all of the…screaming that was going on."
"W-what?" she stammers, freezing in her tracks.
"Uh," you say, stopping as well. "Nothing. Forget I said anything."
"Did you hear...us?" she asks, her voice quiet, and you can't bear to look at her. Why did you speak up? You didn’t want her to feel embarrassed. Or worse, think of you as a creep for listening in.
"Yes," you murmur, and she lets out a groan, her face turning a shade of pink.
"I am so, so sorry. I thought you were gone. Oh my god, that is so embarrassing." She buries her face in her hands, and despite your previous regrets, you bite your lip to suppress a giggle. Her reaction was too cute.
"It's okay, really," you assure, and she drops her hands, still refusing to look at you. You smile, and continue walking. "Don't worry about it."
"But that's so embarrassing," she whines, and you laugh again.
"You were clearly having a good time."
"Yeah, but I didn't want you to hear," she sighs, and you pat her back.
"Well, at least we're even now."
"What do you mean?" she asks, puzzled.
Uh oh. She probably already forgot about the delivery situation, and you just brought it up for no reason. What the fuck was up with you right now? You were just saying anything.
"Oh, nevermind. Forget about it," you respond, waving her off.
"What was it, though? I haven't heard you…uh…do anything before," she protests, and you shrug, trying to brush her off.
"Nope! Forget about it! I confused you with someone else," you rush out, picking up your pace as you make eye contact with your building.
"You have another neighbor that could’ve potentially heard you having sex?" she replies, clearly confused, as she jogs slightly to catch up.
"No idea!" you sing, and open the door, stepping into the lobby.
"This makes no sense. Now I’m not gonna stop asking," she tells you, and you can't help but laugh.
"And I'm not going to stop avoiding the question."
"Y/n!"
You enter the elevator, and press the button to the 8th floor, watching her enter. You give a polite smile, and she sighs, giving up.
"Fine," she finishes with a pout.
The elevator goes up, and the two of you stand in comfortable silence. You don't know if it's because of the woman's earlier embarrassment, but something about tonight definitely has you feeling a little bold and ready to tease.
"Hey," you pipe up, and she looks over at you. "You guys were pretty loud."
"Shut up," she grumbles, and you can't help but smirk, watching her glare at the floor.
"My friends almost called the police. It sounded like you were committing murder."
"What?" she exclaims, and then groans. "Oh my god, don't."
"And I almost let them. I was like, woah. I knew this woman couldn't be entirely perfect and had to be keeping some sort of deep, dark, secret. But a serial killer? I would've never thought. Turns out you just had a serial moaner in there, I guess."
"Please stop."
"I mean, what were you doing to that poor girl. I—"
"At this point, it just seems like you're trying to get details out of me," she interjects.
"W-what?" you squeak, and she smiles, turning to look at you, suddenly cool and collected.
She shrugs. "You keep bringing it up."
You scoff. How dare she accuse you of such a thing! All of the thirst comments under her posts must have gotten to her head.
"You're ridiculous," you retort.
"Am I wrong, though?" she counters, and you stare at her with wide eyes.
"No," you reply quickly, and then you mentally facepalm, realizing what you said. "I mean yes. You're wrong."
"Right," she chuckles, and the elevator dings, the doors opening. "I have a question for you."
"Yeah, sure, what is it?" you ask, stepping out into the hallway.
She bites her lip, clearly trying to stifle a laugh. "Have you had the chance to use your Satisfyer Pro yet?"
Your jaw drops, aghast. "Wh-what? What the fu—"
"Goodnight, y/n," she grins, snickering as she runs inside her apartment like a little goblin, leaving you to watch her with a mixture of disbelief and irritation.
You can't help but let out a huff of laughter as you enter your own apartment.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
You're sitting in bed with a slice of cake on your lap, blanket tossed to the side due to the hot weather, binge-watching a new series. You contemplate checking your email for a message from that landlord, but decide against it, not wanting to put a damper on your decent mood. Instead, you tune in to another episode of a k-drama, in which the protagonist dies for a second time. Supposedly, it's for real this time.
You're about to finish the slice when there's a knock at the door. You frown, pausing the episode. You stand up, place the plate on the dresser, then walk towards the front door, peering through the peephole. Your heart begins to beat faster when you see a certain woman standing outside your apartment.
"What's up?" you greet, swinging the door open.
"Hey," she says, a soft smile on her face. She's wearing a pair of loose shorts and a white t-shirt, hair in a bun. Sweat glistens on her forehead, and her cheeks are flushed. You can't help but note how good she looks, despite looking rumpled.
"Hi," you respond, returning the smile. "What's going on?" you ask, leaning against the doorframe.
"So, uh, my air conditioning broke," she begins. "And I was wondering if I could hang out in your apartment for a bit? The maintenance people said they aren't going to be able to get here until tomorrow. Apparently they don't work on Sundays."
You've suddenly become aware of the fact that Bada has never been inside your apartment. The idea of her being inside the same room as you, sitting on your furniture, breathing in the scent of your home, sends a wave of heat down your spine. Maybe it was best to reject her offer and suggest another solution.
"Come on in!" you say, and open the door.
"Thank you," she breathes out, walking in, and your eyes rake over her figure as she passes by you.
She looks around, taking in the sight of your apartment. You notice her eyes linger on some of your old pictures from your hometown.
"Your apartment is really nice," she tells you, and you feel a rush of pride.
"Thank you! Feel free to take a seat wherever," you reply, gesturing towards the couch, and she sits, throwing her head back as she lets out a sigh of relief.
"You're a lifesaver," she declares, and you plop down next to her.
"What happened?" you ask, and she shakes her head.
”I wish I knew. I went to turn on my AC and it just, didn’t come on. Completely out of the blue.”
"That sucks," you respond, and she nods, a grim expression on her face.
"So," she begins, turning her head towards you. "How are you?"
"I'm fine," you answer, and then remember the slice of cake on the dresser. You point to it. "Would you like some?"
"Yes, please," she says, nodding fervently. "Water would be great, too, if you don't mind."
Grateful to put some distance between the two of you, you practically bounce out of your seat. "Coming right up!"
You return with two glasses of water and your cake. She thanks you, and you hand her a fork, taking one for yourself.
"This is really good, y/n. Did you make this too?" she praises, and you nod.
"I did. Thanks," you reply, taking a bite.
"You really need to give me the recipe for these things. Or start selling them! I'd buy them all," she compliments, and you blush, waving her off.
You stare at the ground for a moment, before laughing bitterly. "That was supposed to be the goal, I guess.”
She furrows her eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
You inhale slowly, prepping yourself. You hated this. But maybe you needed this. "I used to have my own bakery. In my hometown That's actually where I moved from. But then my landlord jacked the rent up and I couldn't afford it, and I was forced to close," you explain.
"Oh." She frowns. "That's awful. What a jerk."
"Tell me about it," you mumble, carelessly dropping your fork on the table.
"Are you looking for another place here?" she asks, and you nod.
"Yeah. There's a lot of great spots in Seoul, but there's one building in particular that I've had my eye on. It's not far from the Han River, and the rent is relatively cheap, and it's got everything I could possibly need. I'm just waiting to hear back from the that landlord. We were negotiating and things were going pretty well. But now its been months. I haven't heard from him since I moved here."
You blink back tears, and clear your throat, picking up the fork again. Whenever you think of everything that's happened to you recently, you cannot help but feel like an utter failure. You worked hard, finally achieved success, only for things to all fall apart. It seemed as if all of your efforts were for nothing.
"Hey," she whispers, and her voice is soft, calming. "It's gonna be okay."
She gently squeezes your arm, and her touch is warm. You look at her, and the tenderness in her eyes is enough to make you want to cry more.
"I know. It's just hard, sometimes," you confess, and her hand remains on your arm.
"I get that, but I can promise you that what you're going through is temporary. I can't tell you how many times I thought I was done for good when I first started out, but now, I've come this far. If you keep your head up, and just keep working hard, you'll make it. You’ve done it before.”
Her words resonate with you, and her unwavering support fills you with hope. "Thanks, Bada," you respond, smiling.
"Of course," she responds, her eyes never leaving yours. "I'm here for you."
"I'm here for you too," you whisper.
A moment of silence passes, and your eyes travel to her hand. Her skin is smooth, and her fingers are long and slender. You wonder what they'd feel like intertwined with yours.
"Um, I’ve been meaning to ask," she says, interrupting your thoughts, and your eyes meet hers again. "Any new dramas you wanted to tell me about? Or, what about the one with that married couple you talked about?”
You almost laugh at her obvious attempt to distract you from your depressing thoughts.
"Pretty good," you reply, and she gives you a pointed look.
"And by pretty good, you mean..."
"Amazing, wonderful, mind-blowing, spectacular," you continue, and she nods, satisfied. "I was actually watching it before you knocked on the door."
"Ooh, really?" she responds, eyes widening.
"Yeah. Would you like to watch it together?" you suggest, and she grins.
"Yes, please."
"Okay," you giggle, and grab the remote, pressing play.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Halfway through the episode, you decide to move to your bedroom (because the AC works better in there, of course!). Somehow, while lying on the bed, your legs become intertwined. She's sprawled out, and her head is resting in the crook of your neck, her soft hair tickling your face.
You can feel her steady breathing, and the heat radiating off her body, and all of your senses are filled with her. You're so focused on her that you can't even focus on the episode.
"Y/n?" she murmurs, and her voice is low, quiet.
"Yeah?" you reply, voice equally as soft.
"Would it be weird if I said that I'm glad my air conditioner broke?"
You snort, and her body shakes with silent laughter. "Not at all."
You pause the show, and sit up. She does the same, and her eyes are shining.
"Do you want anything to eat? I've got chips, and some ice cream," you offer, and she bites her lip.
"Not really. Thanks, though," she responds, and your eyes travel to her lips. They're plump and pink, and you're tempted to reach out and kiss her.
"Okay, no problem," you say, and her gaze is intense, burning.
"Thanks for letting me come over. I appreciate it."
"Of course," you murmur, and then clear your throat. "Anytime."
"Really?"
"Yeah! You can even stay the night, if you want. I don't mind," you respond, and her eyebrows raise, lips curling upwards.
"Okay," she answers, and leans forward, cupping your face in her hands.
The action surprises you, and you let out a gasp. She pauses, eyes searching yours, and you nod, giving her permission.
She leans forward, and you close your eyes, waiting for her to press her lips against yours. Instead, you feel a pair of lips softly kissing your forehead, and your cheeks, and your jaw, and your nose, and then they finally, finally press against yours.
The kiss is gentle and sweet, and when she pulls away, her eyes are filled with affection.
"I've wanted to do that for so long," she admits, and you chuckle.
"Me too," you whisper, and her smile grows wider.
She moves closer to you, and you wrap your arms around her, pulling her into a hug. Her body is soft, and her skin is smooth, and you can feel her warmth seeping into your skin.
"I really like you, y/n," she whispers, and you tighten your hold on her.
"I really like you too, Bada," you respond, and she nuzzles her face into the crook of your neck. You're in heaven.
"Thank god. I was afraid I was making a fool out of myself," she confesses, and you giggle.
"What? Oh my god. Not at all," you assure her, and she pulls away, a smirk on her face.
"So, I was right about you wanting details?"
"Oh fuck you," you mutter, pulling her back into a significantly more aggressive kiss. A surprised noise escapes her lips, but she eventually melts into it, moving against you with equal fervor. Her hands run up and down your sides, leaving a trail of goosebumps behind, and you're so caught up in the sensation that you don't even realize when she starts straddling you until she presses her body against yours in a way that has you gasping.
Your hands travel underneath her shirt, feeling the smoothness of her warm skin, the lines of her stomach, the swell of her breasts, and the curves of her waist. She groans into the kiss before slipping her tongue into your mouth, causing heat to pool in the pit of your stomach.
When you pull away, she's panting, and her lips are swollen. Her hair is slightly mussed, and her pupils are dilated, her eyes filled with desire. Without words, you both begin removing each other's clothes, tossing them to the side. She's left in only a black bra and boxers, and you have to remind yourself to move.
She chuckles, and you stare at her chest. You can see the outline of her nipples, and you reach out, brushing a thumb against them, and she bites her lip, closing her eyes. You can feel her heart beating rapidly, and you trace circles around her nipples, and she lets out a shaky breath.
"Please," she begs, and you smile, pulling her into another kiss.
Your hands move lower, caressing the skin of her thighs, and then you're cupping her center, and she gasps, pulling away.
"Y/n," she pants, and the sound of her moaning your name sends another rush of heat down your spine.
"Bada," you breathe out, and press kisses against her jawline, and down her neck, and collarbone, and chest. Your hand is still between her thighs, and she bucks her hips, trying to find friction.
"Y/n, please," she repeats, and the desperation in her voice is so fucking hot.
You slip a finger inside her, and you feel her walls immediately clench, followed by a whimper you're not sure belongs to you or her. You curl your finger inside her, and her head falls back into the crook of your neck as she rolls her hips, grinding against your palm.
"More," she practically demands, and you add another finger.
She's soaking wet, and the lewd sounds coming from your fingers sliding in and out of her has you squeezing your thighs together, desperate for some sort of relief.
You use your thumb to rub circles on her clit, and her movements become more erratic, her moans becoming louder.
"I'm gonna-ugh," she pants, and her nails dig into your skin as she orgasms.
You can feel her walls clenching and unclenching, and her body trembles, her eyes squeezed shut. She breathes heavily, and the sight of her is enough to drive you wild.
You continue stroking her until she opens her eyes, and you can't help but grin.
"Holy shit," she manages, and you remove your fingers, and she lets out a moan.
"Good?"
"Yes," she replies, and leans forward, capturing your lips in a heated kiss.
"Now," she begins, breaking away. "Let me take care of you."
You can only nod as she reaches for your breasts, fondling them, and her eyes never leave yours. She's smirking, and the intensity in her gaze is enough to make your heart skip a beat.
You close your eyes, enjoying the sensation, and you nearly jump when you feel her body shift, her lips pressing against the sensitive skin of your neck.
She moves down, taking a nipple into her mouth, and you groan, arching your back. Her lips travel to your stomach, and then your thighs, and then you're lifting your hips, and she's sliding your underwear off.
"Spread your legs, y/n," she requests, and her voice is low, seductive.
You obey immediately, and then her tongue is inside you, and her fingers are on your clit, and your entire body is on fire. She sucks on your clit, and then makes headway further down, sliding her tongue inside you. You can't stop the moans that escape from your mouth, and you're certain the whole complex can hear, but you don't care.
Suddenly, she stops, and looks up at you. Your eyes snap open, annoyed by the interruption until you observe the way he's smiling, her chin slick with your wetness.s
"I wanna try something," she begins, and she sits up, scanning the room. "Where's that thing you got the other day?"
You bite back a moan. "Nightstand drawer."
She opens it, and takes out a small, pink object. Your face flushes as she turns it on, the vibrations audible in the otherwise quiet room.
"Is this okay?" she asks, and you nod, eager.
"Yes," you answer, and her mouth returns to your center.
She teases your entrance with the object, and the combination of her tongue and the vibrator has you squirming, your hands finding their way to her head, holding her in place.
"Oh god," you whimper, and the pleasure is indescribable.
Her tongue picks up speed, and then the vibrator enters you, and you nearly scream.
She pushes the toy in and out, and as it vibrates against your clit, and begin to feel like you can't take anymore. Your back arches, and a wave of euphoria washes over you as your orgasm hits, and the only thing you can see is the light from the lamp and the white of the ceiling.
When you regain control of your senses, you can feel her body lying on top of yours, her head on your chest. You lay in silence, trying to catch your breath, and it isn't until you hear her voice that you speak.
"How are you doing?"
"Sleepy," you mumble, and she smiles, pecking you on the lips.
"Then let's go to sleep."
You can only nod as your eyes slowly close and your mind becomes hazy. Before you drift off completely, you think to yourself that this might've been the best night you've had since moving here.

Two weeks later, you and Bada are going up the elevator to your respective apartments after a walk from your job. You'd just spent the past hour gossiping in between taking customer's orders. Apparently, Mijoo and Naeun are going out. Figures. You hoped it worked out for them, but nobody was beating the blissful few weeks you've.
The two of you are holding hands, and your free one is holding a box containing a dozen chocolate chip cookies, made especially for Bada.
"I'm thinking of moving out," she suddenly states, and the statement catches you off guard.
"What? Why?" you ask, and she shrugs.
"It's about time. I can afford a better place, and I'm ready to move on from the apartment life. I need a house."
"I can understand that," you reply, nodding.
"You should move in with me," she continues, and the statement makes you laugh.
"What? Are you crazy? We just got together."
"Who cares? I want to live with you. Don't you want to live with me?" she responds, pouting, and she gives you puppy dog eyes.
"Yes, but...," you pause, and you can tell from the expression on her face that she's serious.
"But what? What's the problem?"
"Nothing. Let's do it."
"Really?"
"Yes, really," you confirm, and she beams, leaning in to kiss you.
You can't believe what you just agreed to. But, in a way, you're relieved. Maybe this will finally bring a sense of finality to everything that's happened.
"Damn, guess I'm gonna have to tell Jennifer about us. She's coming out here soon," you mutter, opening your email app. You go to type in your friend's email, but your eyes land on an unread email in your inbox, sent two weeks ago. It's from an unknown sender, and the subject is 'Regarding Your Application.'
Your eyes widen, and Bada nosily peers over your shoulder, reading the words.
"What's that?" she asks, and you gulp.
"I don't know."
"Open it!" she exclaims, and you do.
Y/N,
This is Kim Sung Soo, the owner of the property you inquired about. I was out of town for business and unable to contact you regarding your application. I've looked through the papers, and everything seems to be in order. I'd like to meet up with you so we can further discuss the terms of the lease before we finalize anything. When are you available?
"Oh my god," Bada gasps, and she stares at you, wide-eyed.
"What the hell?" you whisper, and Bada squeals.
"Oh, y/n! This is so exciting! Congratulations! I knew it would work out. Now, you can start your bakery, and we can move in together, and oh, my god, I'm so happy!"
"I'm confused," you mutter barely believing your luck, and the elevator dings, indicating that the two of you have arrived.
"Don't worry about it, okay? Come on, let's go have some cookies," she says, tugging on your arm.
You nod, following her down the hall without a hint of resistance. As you watch the woman drag you with a giant smile on her face, you cannot help but giggle. Who knew you'd find home and happiness in such an unlikely place?

On the Open Water
Pairing: Joe Rantz x OC (Sadie)
Warnings: N/A
Description: Joe takes Sadie out for a boat ride. Yes, this is heavily influenced by the scene from the movie. All credit goes to the original writers of the script for the idea.
Boys in the Boat Masterlist
This is not meant to be a reflection of the real person that was portrayed in the Boys in the Boat. It is a work of fiction.
The first time she'd laid eyes on the tall figure that was Joe Rantz, her heart skipped a beat and her cheeks flushed red. Thankfully, he'd been distracted by his crew who were crowded around him as they walked out to the water. She'd heard about the junior boat, they were one of the hottest topics on campus at the moment - that the 8 of them had managed to beat out so many others was remarkably impressive.
Joe was tall, broad-shoulder and muscular in a way that she'd never seen. His blonde hair looked golden in the afternoon sunshine and he had a laugh that echoed easily in the air. It was plain as day that he was very, very handsome. She allowed herself a few blissful moments to watch as he walked away, but forced herself to turn back to her homework that was due the very next day.
The second time Sadie saw Joe Rantz was at a school-sanctioned party after he and his crew won their first race. She'd been doing her best to keep her gaze from where he was sitting, but considering the party was in their honor, it was hard not to let her attention wander back to him. Joe was seated between Roger Davis and George "Shorty" Hunt at a circular table just off to the side of the area that had been marked off for the dance floor.
Roger and Shorty were leaning close to Joe, shoving his shoulders a bit and whisper-yelling at him as he shook his head, a red flush tinting his cheeks.
Sadie was sitting comfortably at her own table surrounded by some of her roommates who had become some her best friends. Lily and Angela were laughing as they slowly drank the colorful cocktails in their chilled glasses - the only refuge from the increasingly hot room.
"What do you think, Sadie?" Lily asked her, drawing her attention away from the men of the hour. Lily had always been the more outgoing of their bunch, blonde and as beautiful as she was she drew men to her as easily as she breathed the air around them.
Angela was equally gorgeous with long hair that trailed down her back and dark as a raven's wing. Her lips were always painted bright red in contrast to her bright white teeth. She was incredibly smart, witty, and was always making them laugh with some sort of remark made just under her breath.
Sadie smiled, tucking a loose piece of curled hair behind her ear. "What do I think about what?"
Angela and Lily shared a glance, smirking at one another, "About how Joe Rantz has been glancing over at you every few minutes since he saw you sitting there."
"He has not," She protested. Her eyes widened as she took in their honest expressions and twisted, smug lips. "Really," she continued, "I doubt he knows I'm here. What is more likely is that he's looking at one of you."
Lily shook her head, "Looks like we're about to find out."
"What do you mean?" Sadie asked, turning her head to follow the direction of Lily's quirked brow. Joe Rantz had begun to stand from his seat and George was patting him heartily on his shoulder, while Roger looked straight in the direction of their table. He was leaned back in his chair, rubbing his hands together and grinning like the cat that caught the canary.
Joe's eyes caught hers, eyeing the red that crept into her cheeks for a split second before she looked away from him. Casting worried looks at her friends, "He's not coming this way, is he?"
Sadie was not as confident as Lily or as quick-witted as Angela, but she was enthusiastically kind and had a heart twice as large as anyone else. She prided herself on seeing the best in others even though most times she couldn't quite see the best in herself.
Lily and Angela didn't answer, instead they made to stand giving her a supportive thumbs-up before hurrying away from the table. Angela winking at her and her giving her a large smile.
The sound of footsteps nearing the table drew her attention away from her giggling friends. Sadie felt distinctly aware of every hair out of place on her head and the dampness at the small of her back from the heat of the room.
"Hello," Joe's baritone sounded next to her and Sadie looked up into startlingly, clear blue eyes in answer. His blonde hair was combed neatly atop his head and his mouth was softened into a small, hesitant smile. "My name's Joe - Joe Rantz."
She offered him her hand in greeting and he extended his much larger hand to accept it. "It's nice to meet you," she smiled, proud of how she held her voice steady in front of the man she'd been admiring from afar.
Sadie offered him her own name, which he repeated softly, almost to himself. He seemed to be testing the way it tasted on his lips and she couldn't deny the butterflies that took flight in her stomach at hearing him swirl her name around inside of his mouth.
She gestured towards one of the empty seats in an offer for him to sit down. Joe hesitated, eyes downcast before flicking back up to hers, "I was actually wondering if, maybe, you might want to dance with me?"
Sadie's smiled encouragingly, "I'd love to."
Accepting his outstretched hand, she let him lead her to the dance floor. Where he pulled her close and she wrapped her arms around him, feeling the steadiness of his body against her own nervous one. Her heart was beating so hard that she could feel it in her fingertips and she glanced up at his face to determine if he could hear it.
Instead, she caught a look that was a little bashful and incredulous as he pulled her slightly closer than one might a friend. She stepped forward to make it easier for him, delighting in the red that grew at the tips of his ears.
The third time she saw Joe Rantz was beneath her window.
"What are you doing?" She asked, laughing as she pushed the window open.
He was beautiful in the moonlight, eyes wide in excitement and a broad grin taking over his face. "Do you want to go on a boat ride?" He looked up at her expectantly, no trace of any expectation that she would say no.
"Right now?" Sadie asked, voice full of laughter.
He shrugged, "Sure, why not."
She laughed, "I'll be right down." She hurried into her shoes, flinging her door open and ignoring the questions from Lily and Angela. She half-ran and half-stumbled her way down two flights of stairs to the door where Joe waited for her.
"Hi," she greeted, breathless as she pushed the door open.
Joe's grin was brighter than she'd ever seen. He reached for her and she stepped easily into his reach, one of his hands trailing down her arm to her hand which he took in his own. "Follow me," he said, leading her forward.
He must've already been to the University's shell house, because he led her to the dock where he had a small row boat tied securely. He offered her his arm and she climbed into the boat with unsteady legs.
Joe climbed in after her, the very picture of grace and set them off. The water was calm around them and as Joe rowed them away from shore, the symphony of the open water at night performed for them. Swirling water and soft breezes smelling of fresh spring flowers, carrying with it the smell of Joe's cologne.
She turned her head towards him and found his blue eyes already staring at her.
"You're going to row us into something if you don't pay attention to where we're going," she teased, quirking an eyebrow at him playfully.
Joe smirked, his expression the picture of confidence. "Of the two of us, remind me who has more experience out on the water," his voice drew her attention down to his lips, which morphed into something of a smug grin as he caught her slip.
Sadie glanced up quickly. "Obviously, it's me," she continued, tossing her hair over her shoulder pretending to have all of the confidence in the world.
Joe laughed softly next to her and she couldn't help the giggle that escaped her.
He stopped rowing, letting the current take hold once they were in the middle of the water and the boat began to drift slowly as it did.
"Do you like rowing?" Sadie asked, studying his expression. It was mostly hidden from her but as he tilted his head in contemplation the light from the moon illuminated him in a silver glow.
"I'm getting a job out of it," he shrugged. His voice took on a nonchalant tone but his eyes gave away his enjoyment for the sport.
Sadie nudged him with her shoulder, "You seem to be pretty good at it."
"Do I?" Joe smiled, blue eyes twinkling.
Sadie nodded, "You boys are going to become famous with the skill you have in your boat. Just wait, you'll see that I'm right and you'll forget all about me."
She turned her face away from him, not wanting to show him the expression that was likely painting her face.
Joe's calloused hand slid a long her cheek, gently guiding her gaze back to him. "I don't think I could forget you if I tried," he whispered, his voice so low she was sure she could only hear him because he was so close.
Her gaze dropped down to his soft lips again before flicking back up to his eyes. Joe didn't wait a moment and leaned forward, gently pressing their mouths together.
His lips were warm and so very soft against her own. He tasted of salt and something distinctly Joe that she ached for more of. She reached her own hand up, gliding her hand over his shoulder to the back of his neck and into his hair, pulling him closer.
He groaned softly into her mouth and twisted his head, deepening their kiss. Using the hand that wasn't caressing her face, he gripped onto her waist, just holding her softly against him.
She cursed herself for pulling away first but her lungs were begging her for oxygen. They stayed close, resting their foreheads against one another. Joe's breath kissed the apples of her cheek as he exhaled.
"We should probably get back to the dorms before someone notices I'm gone," she whispered.
"I'll row us back," Joe hummed in agreement, though his hands remained where they were. "But, one more kiss couldn't hurt."
His eyes were dark and heavy-lidded as he looked at her, waiting for her permission.
Sadie slid her hand back into his soft, blonde hair and if they shared a few more kisses than their only witnesses were the full moon above them and the open water that surrounded them.
A/N: Would anyone be interested in reading any more about Sadie and Joe?

Deadpool's Grumpy Cub
( A grumpy little Logan is put down for a nap before dinner by the amazing Deadpool. Short-ish story )
A few weeks had gone by, and Wolverine had continued to visit Deadpool's place to regress whenever he felt stressed or overwhelmed after training at the X-men's mansion. Deadpool had taken on the role of his caregiver, taking great pride in his new responsibility... perhaps too well by Logan's standards.
They were currently hanging out in Wade's apartment, the sound of cartoons playing on the TV as he cooked dinner, pancakes, considering it was one of the few foods Logan would eat.
Wolverine, or rather little Logan, was in the middle of his regression, sitting on the floor with a pile of toys scattered around him. His eyes were wide with innocent awe as he played with a toy car. Deadpool glanced over at him with a fond smile, watching as the little mutant made engine noises with his mouth and occasionally became distracted by the bright, colorful cartoons on screen.
"Having fun there, little buddy?" Wade called out, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Logan looked up at him from his spot on the carpeted floor, a silly grin upon his face. "Vroom, vroom!" he exclaimed, making the toy car move faster against the floor.
Deadpool chuckled, setting down the spatula he was holding to walk over to Logan. "You're such a cute little kid, ya know that?" he teased, ruffling Logan's already tousled hair.
Logan made a small noise of protest, chewing on the wheel of his car. He seemed to relish the affection, his shoulders relaxing slightly under Wade's touch despite his frustrated expression.
"M' not a kid..." he muttered, his lower lip jutted out slightly in a childish pout.
Deadpool knelt down next to him, his eyes sparkling with mirth. "Oh, really? Then what are you, huh? Must be a bear cub with all those little noises you're making." he teased, poking his side gently.
Logan swatted at his hand, but there was no real strength behind it, or claws thank the stars. He knew deep down that Wade was just playing with him, and honestly, he liked being taken care of.
"I'm... I'm an adult," he said stubbornly, crossing his arms in protest despite his behavior and the many toys scattered around him.
Deadpool chuckled again, amused by Logan's stubbornness even in his pouty, and adorable, regressed state. "Right, and I'm the Easter Bunny!" he joked while making a silly face, earning a disgruntled but slightly amused huff from Logan.
Deadpool smirked, seeing through Logan's tough facade instantly. "You're such a little pouty thing when you lose that adult ego of yours," he teased, pinching Wolverine's cheek affectionately as he plops down beside him on the floor.
Logan grumbled under his breath. Wade, being so caring and paternal, was making him feel so... whatever. He hated how Deadpool had the ability to make him feel so small, vulnerable, and definitely not loved and cared for.
"S-Shuddup..." he muttered, looking away to hide the fact that he didn't actually mind Deadpool's teasing.
Wade chuckled, his eyes filled with warmth as he watched Logan's embarrassed reaction. "Awww, no, no, that's not a very nice word, little cub. The big, bad Wolverine must be getting sleepy. I think somebody needs a nap before dinner."
Logan grumbles to himself, turning away, but the tired look in his eyes betrayed his true state. He was feeling sleepy and somewhat hungry, but he didn't want to give the infamous merc with a mouth the pleasure of being right.
"Don' need a nap..." he protested weakly, subconsciously leaning into Deadpool's side.
Wade chuckled, easily seeing through Logan's half-hearted protest. "Oh, yeah? You almost fell asleep in the pile of toys a minute ago," he pointed out, slowly standing up and gently guiding Logan into his arms.
"You need some shut-eye, and I know it. Can't have you falling face-first into your pancakes later, little Wolvie."
Wolverine opened his mouth to protest further, but a yawn escaped his lips instead. He quickly shut his mouth, his face flushing with embarrassment at the involuntary display of tiredness.
He hated to admit it, but his caregiver was right. He was feeling really sleepy, and the thought of taking a nap sounded more tempting by the second...
He grumbled under his breath again, a pout forming on his face. "Fine..." he muttered. "But I'm not a baby."
Wade smirked, fully aware that he had won this battle. "Alright, big guy," he joked, lifting Logan up from the floor and carrying him to the bed in the next room.
"Let's get you tucked in for a nap, yeah? Don't forget your favorite plushie."
With a small pout, Logan allows himself to be carried to the bedroom. Once placed on the bed, he reached out and grabbed a plush cat from the nearby pile of toys.
He held it close as Wade pulled the covers over him, a small feeling of comfort settling over him. Despite his earlier protest, he was secretly grateful for the care and attention he was receiving.
"Big boy, not liddle..." he mumbled once more, his speech already slurring with the onset of sleep.
Deadpool chuckled as he watched Wolverine cuddled up with his plushie, already half-asleep. "Of course, of course," he says softly while his tone remains affectionate.
He sat on the edge of the bed, gently rubbing Logan's back to help him fully relax. "You're just my big, tough guy who needs his nap, right?"
Wolverine hummed softly, his eyes fluttering closed as he snuggled further into the pillow. He wanted to protest once more, but his growing tiredness betrayed him. He muttered a barely audible response under his breath, something that sounded like, "Mm... mhm..."
Within a few minutes, the little mutant was fast asleep, clutching his plushie close to his chest.
Wade watched with a fond smile as Logan settled into peaceful sleep. He stayed by his side for a few moments, making sure his little guy is comfortable.
Once he was certain Logan was sound asleep, Deadpool got up and quietly left the room, shutting the door with a soft click.
Now, it was time to finish preparing dinner before his grumpy little baby boy woke up.

waiting for you to be waiting below
tags: fluff, established relationship
a/n: hi guys long time no see hahaha turns out I only write well once school is in session !! for my two requests that have been waiting for like six months I'm so sorry
“you’re being stupid,” you say for the millionth time that evening. . “i’ve shown you how to do it like, thirteen times.”
shidou ryusei frowns at you, four strands of colored thread hanging limply from his fingers. “maybe you’re just not a very good teacher.”
and you can feel your eye start to twitch. honestly, it was your own fault at this point. why did you ever think that your loud, very easily distracted, and impulsive boyfriend could ever sit still long enough to make a bracelet?
“fine,” you snap out, reaching over the pile of discarded scraps of string and beads to take the thread away from shidou. “you don’t have to do it, then.”
his grip instantly tightens, and the two of you are caught in an awkward and silent tug of war. you’re well aware that he could win at any point, what with his athlete strength and experience in fighting.
it doesn’t stop you from pulling harder. and shidou has the audacity and not enough shame that he starts grinning, revealing white teeth.
and then he lets go. you jolt backwards at the sudden lack of resistance, ass landing onto your carpeted floor. shidou cackles, head bobbing like a maniac.
you feel your cheeks heat with embarrassment, and then you’re jumping up to your feet. “fine. fuck you too!”
he doesn’t stop laughing, hot pink irises following your every movement anyway. once your hand reaches the doorknob, his laughter immediately ceases.
“come on, y/n,” he lengthens out the last syllable of your name, amusement apparent in every inch of his face. “don’t leave now! i was just about to get better.”
on another day, you likely would have listened. but today, you’re not feeling it. “go out the front door when you feel like it. or jump out the window again, i don’t really care.”
the door closes fast, but not fast enough for you to miss shidou’s lips shifting into a frown.
you take the stairs down to your living room two at a time, hand gripping onto the banister with just a little too much strength at times.
you’re in front of the tv within five minutes, some shitty reality show acting as a slightly worthwhile distraction for the time being. you can hear your boyfriend thumping around above your head, and a slight pang of worry reaches your stomach.
but hey, you did tell him to leave. shidou’s not your issue for the rest of today. maybe you’ll apologize tomorrow, once that twitch in your eye goes away for good. maybe you won’t.
the show flashes to an all too familiar advertisement. blue lock tv is popular enough without the need for a constant stream of ads, but it hasn’t stopped their network from flooding every channel possible with them.
you can vaguely recognize a few faces from their occasional match with shidou, but you don’t think you could put a name to their face if your life was reliant on it. maybe you should be more interested in the show at this point.
and then your boyfriend’s on the screen, bright yellow and hot pink meshing together in a constant flux of motion as the ball dances to his feet.
it never gets old, watching him play.
there’s something captivating about it, the way everyone else on the field seems to pale in comparison to shidou ryusei. he commands the attention of the field, forces people to look at him until the crowds cheer his name.
despite yourself, you feel yourself smile.
“man, i looked good here!”
it’s impressive how you don’t flinch at shidou’s sudden presence. maybe you’ve gotten used to him.
“i thought you left,” you mutter.
“and leave you to mope alone?” he leaps over the back of the couch in one easy motion, landing right besides you. “here.”
you turn your head and immediately do a double take. there, nestled in shidou’s large and calloused hand, lays a slightly pitiful bracelet, threads of bright color twined around each other.
“oh.” you say stupidly. you pick it up carefully.
“it was not easy to tie those knots, you know that?” shidou grins, canines flashing. “stupid little things kept coming undone-”
you tackle him in a hug, arms wrapping around his neck. he jolts in surprise, his own arms reaching around you immediately.
“thank you,” you murmur into the back of his head. “i’m sorry for earlier.”
he laughs, warm breath ghosting by the side of your head. “not the first time i deserved to get yelled at.”
“i’ll wear it forever.”
shidou goes uncharacteristically quiet, if only for a moment.
“your show’s back on.”

Good day or maybe it's night for yah? Could I request a male kiri x human reader? Like the Sully kids have heard about a friend of spiders but have never met them until Lo'ak, tuk and (m)kiri see this bright beaming girl making Spider laughing his ass off all the while laughing with him? Now Kiri's intrigued and maybe a bit infatuated but all around curious to get to know this bright girl who apparently has an infatuation and deep love for books with good stories in them.
Hellooooooooooooooo~!! Okie so since kiri is a boy in this, his name will be Atok, following my little theory that kiri is short for Atokirina, the seeds of Eywa. SO I hope you enjoy this one~!!
-----------------
txasunu
You would think you know a person well enough, that you know the ins and outs of a place that you literally grew up in. Only then you learn that there is something you missed completely, Something that shapes your perspective entirely but in a good way.
Well that is what happened with Atok, his good and best friend spider, who would often mention someone from time to time. Someone of their age, a ‘jokester’ or something of what word. Spider would say something along the lines of “txasnunu would love this” or “txasunu would make a far better pun”. Txasnunu this txasnunu that, just who is she?
“C’mon you two, be serious for once” Atok says rather in an annoyed way, his dear siblings just can't seem to be still. “We are serious! We met her and she is the funniest!” Tuk shouts as if that would prove her point. Widening her arms in a silly way, trying her best to convince atok.
“They should be here…” Lo’ak looks around looking for the familiar path spider and the other person took. Atok rolls his eyes but follows, making sure lo’ak or tuk don't get into any form of trouble. But as they continued down a certain path, Atok heard spider’s familiar laughter, but also an unknown one too. So it seems spider wasn't alone.
Tuk gasps happily and runs off, same with lo’ak. Atok follows closely, seeing his siblings greet spider and the new face.
“Atok! Right on time! Come, I guess it's about damn time I introduce to you the scource of my best jokes! Txasunu!” Spider happily announces as he gently shoves his friend in front of atok.
It was a human girl, standing confidently, her hair looking vibrant in color, her skin complexion complimenting her eyes and her smile. Oh that smile does something to atok.
“Hi, I'm Txasunu, you must be Atok. Spider has told me so much about you”
Atok couldn't help himself but constantly stare at the human girl. There was something about her that just had him be pulled towards her. Was it her captivating smile? Her beautiful eyes? Or the way she laughs? What is it? What is Txasunu that makes Atok so intrigued?
“You know, a picture can last longer” Txasunu says, suddenly abrupting atok’s blank stare. Blushing a bit, he looks away from the human girl, causing her to giggle in amusement. Hugging her legs, rocking herself back and forth in a playful way, Txasunu looks over at Atok. “Why do you stare so much?” she wonders.
Atok collected his mind fast, trying to think of an answer.
“I'm curious” close enough.
“Curious?” Txasunu repeat. Atok nods.
“That is ok, I am curious about you too”
Atok looks over at txasunu, getting a bit closer, “you are?” he asks. And the girl happily nods. “Spider tells me so much about you, how you are more intertwined with nature. Not always chatty, mostly calm and can get easily distracted with anything”. Seems like spider covered the basics, but atok is more than that.
“How about this, since we are curious about each other, we teach one another?” txasunu suggests. It didn't take much for Atok to agree.
To say the girl was an odd one. Nothing bad of course. She is definitely way different from spider. While the monkey boy is more outside, can chat with anyone with ease, and enjoys going on adventures. Txasunu was more calm, not quite, and prefers to be in one place or enjoy the simple scenery.
One thing Atok has come to learn about the human girl was her fascination and love for books. His mother had a few around their marui, but txasunu showed him rows and rows of books.
“This section is all about plants and animals, that section is about important human figures, and this section is my favorite” txasunu showed atok one day. A room full of books, called a ‘library’. It was a beautiful room. A glass dome above to let natural light inside. Plants here and there to add calmness and tranquility. Matts and pillows around for any seating. This was an ideal place for atok to spend some time away from the noise.
“I usually come here, hardly anyone comes to the library, but I like it. Often I think of it as my little pandora, away from the noise. Away from any troubles, and to just be…”
“Be alone…” Atok finishes.
Txasunu looks over at atok, a new found expression written all over her pretty face. Grabbing his larger hand into hers, she leads him somewhere. “Come on, there is so much I want to share with you”.
“Another! Another please” Tuk happily pleaded to txasunu. Lo’ak was there beside his little sister, wanting to hear another joke from txasunu.
“Ok ok, lets see….” txasunu rubs her forehead, thinking what else is up in her silly mind. Until she snapped her fingers.
“Ahem! I told spider the other day he had to embrace his mistakes, and guess what? He hugged me!”
“HEY!” spider shouted, clearly hearing that. But that made lo’ak and tuk laugh at full capacity.
“You know the other day it was super foggy, tried to catch it, sadly I mist” txasunu continued. This time spider and atok joined in the laughter.
That was another thing atok has come to like about txasunu. She is never short on jokes, her sense of humor was beyond what atok knows. She might even reign superior to her dad or lo’ak. It surely lifts the spirits and keeps everyone happy.
“If only eggs were this funny, too bad they crack each other up”
“STOOOOOOOOP!! I CANT BREATH….!!”
“And these are the elves. Magical beings who live a long life, longer than humans and na’vi” txasunu explained to atok one day. In the library, she wanted to show atok the many stories that Earth held in their histories. Stories of fiction, myths and tales. One of them is the different race of elves. And the drawings were very beautiful.
So far Atok has enjoyed the stories and the looks of fairies and trolls. They all look so similar yet vastly different and how many stories they have.
Leaning closer, txasunu’s shoulder touching his, atok embraces her warmth and touch. “There are the earth elves, the snow elves, and even light elves. There are so many, good thing there are more books about them” txasunu says. She tries her best to not look up but everytime she does, heat covers her cheeks. Funny thing, it only happens with atok is near.
Out of nowhere, Atok strokes txasunu’s hair and gently strokes her ear. “Pointy ears wouldn't look so bad on you” he mutters. He pulls her over onto his lap, and brining the book closer. “Tell me more, they seem so interesting” atok pleads. Nodding, txasunu continues.
“W-well, there is also…”
The more Atok hears the girls voice, how soothing and comforting she sounds, he can fall asleep. But sleep can wait, he wants to hear her forever if he can.
I loved this cute fic! Was fun to write! Until next time! See ya!

txasunu = love greatly, enjoy tremendously

SWEET NOTHING
Georgie Farmer x fem!reader
part 01
summary: Georgie tries to fix his mistake.
WARNINGS! angst to fluffy, the author has no idea of how to use tumblr.
taglist: @rieulsimp @lilttblog
Georgie stared at the street, he still hoped to see you walking by so he could apologize.
Of course, you never came back. He tried to say that it was better this way, but no, it wasn't.
He heard from all of his friends of how dumb he was and that he needed to apologize but when he unlocked his phone, he completely froze. The photo of you smiling, in one of your favorite tea shop that you made him go every time, knocked all his senses away.
So there he was, sitting alone on his apartment back in London, he couldn't even open your chat, knowing that he would face all the worried messages that he ghosted.
Shoving his hand inside of the hoodie you gave him back, Georgie felt something hard between the soft cloth, picking it up, he stared at a little pebble. The one you picked up on your first date with him, he remembered it all too well.
"He took you to a park, one that he knew you loved, Georgie sat down the picnic towel and took our your favorite fruits and drinks. You looked absolutely beautiful under the sun, your eyes shining more and more whenever you looked at him with that bright smile. The one that made him fall in love with you.
He watched you picking up a pebble that was near to his hand.
— It matches your eyes, see?- you smiled showing him, that moment he wished to see the world like you."
He kept the pebble and completely forgot about it. Fidgeting with it, his mind always flew back to your smile, how you managed to brighten up his days and never failed to put a smile on his face.
Looking outside again he saw how heavy the rain was, making him also remember how he let you walk alone in the streets of a city you never went before, in the middle of a storm and pure coldness.
He hated it, he hated how he couldn't move, how he couldn't even ask you to stay until the storm passed, no, he was a coward and let you go. He let you go so easily, you slipped from his fingers so easily and his heart ached more and more.
You just wanted his sweet nothings, you never wanted more or less, he was stupid for noticing just now how much you meant for him.
Picking up an umbrella and a jacket, he put on his shoes and quickly ran from his apartment.
His feet guided him like a GPS, he knew exactly where they were leading him, your house. He stayed in front of you door, he could hear the soft music coming from inside, the same music that you always put on when you needed to put your head back into place.
He closed his umbrella and knocked on the door, but you never came, anxiously he took the spare key he always kept with him and tossed his shoes aside before opening the door.
Georgie quietly made his way to the kitchen, you were humming the song while making tea.
— Y/N?- he called quietly and you jumped, turning off the music and looking at him.
God, his heart absolutely broke when he saw how your eyes were red and swollen, it was a week since the event and you were still upset about it and it was all his fault.
You lost that shiny eyes you held, the bright smile and all your colors completely vanished and he wanted to beat himself for it.
— Georgie, don't scare me like that- your raspy voice echoed in the empty house.
— I'm sorry, you didn't opened the door and I really wanted to talk- he muttered back and you sighed.
— It's okay, I just wasn't expecting it, are you cold? I can make you some tea if you want- you whispered so gently that he thought about all the ways to throw himself in front of a bus.
— It would be good- he smiled gently but you didn't, too distracted trying to find the package with his favorite tea.
After putting down both of the tea cups, you two sat down and an uncomfortable silence grew.
— I'm sorry, for... everything- Georgie was the first to speak.
— You don't need to apologize Georgie, I was dumb for not seeing that you didn't wanted anything anymore- you said and looked down at your tea, Georgie turned his eyes to you.
— No, I was dumb Y/N, I made a horrible mistake- he said and you looked up- I can't live without you, I was completely selfish and didn't thought about you... well, about us, because I'm nothing without you, being completely honest- he gently reached for your hand- You are the only person who understands me and never fail to make me happy, sometimes I was scared that I wasn't making you happy and that some day I would hurt you, it happened and I was a coward for even letting you go- he squeezed your hand.
— Georgie, you know that you're the only person that I've ever felt safe and truly happy and you could've just talked to me- you said and he saw the tears pricking under your eyes.
— I know, actually, Emma almost threw a table at me when I told her what happened and it did made me notice how I have been treating you poorly those last months and that my fear came true because I was just thinking about me- he admitted and you sighed- I'm sorry Y/N, I truly am, I want to make it up for you! I don't know, we can go to your favorite park or that tea shop, it's always open anyways...- he rambled and you just watched him become a pile of nerves every second that passed by.
— Georgie- you caught his face between your hands- Be honest with me first, do you love me?- you asked and he stared at you like you were an alien.
— More than anything! I... I love you more than anything Y/N!- he panicked and you smiled softly at him.
— It'll take time to get things back together, you really hurt me Georgie, but if you want to do this again, we can try, together- you said and he sighed relieved- Just promise me that you'll talk to me whenever you need- Georgie smiled and nodded.
— I promise- he whispered and looked into your eyes- Can I hold you again, please?- he asked and stood up.
You followed his actions and he opened his arms, you immediately hugged him, sinking your face on the crook of his neck as he wrapped his arms around you.
Georgie took a deep breathe feeling your embrace again, rubbing his hands on your back and bringing you even closer.
All that you ever wanted from him was sweet nothings, but he'll make sure to give you the whole world.

DAY 13: GAME
Due to the fact that Ash fell ill again and therefore could not go, Rek became responsible for the squad – everyone shrugged their shoulders and said, well, okay, fair enough. For a non-admin, Rek is even too good at all of this: he gathers people, counts them over their heads, makes sure that everyone has an emergency kit with them, and only after that frighteningly easily cuts the fabric of the continuum, twists it into a portal, and calmly invites them forward.
And: they are not enemies of each other, but they are not allies either. Fragments of completely different teams, as if randomly chosen to participate, they do not expect each other to stab in the back, but they also cannot fully trust. Despite this, they, without collusion, take each other by the hand: Zam – Kab, Kab – Jumper, and Jumper – 4C. Safety precautions. An unspoken mutual agreement. Like kindergarten children, they follow each other through the portal. Rek remains the last one – he makes sure that the others are safe and only then steps forward, not forgetting to meticulously sew up the rift after himself.
Once on the other side, of course, they uncouple their hands but still continue to stick together. The other world is too bright and bright; the sky is too blue, and there are so many people.
– Remind me, who is participating? – Kab calmly asks, checking her communicator, – hermits, vtubers, hopliters...
– Fruit subbed in! – Zam happily chimes.
– Yeah, some of HBG are here, – Rek says, – not much, but-
There is something really strange in them: despite behaving absolutely carefree, they are never too far away from the rest, do not expose their backs, and do not eat a single piece of food from the tables. While people who arrived together disperse throughout the space in single pairs or look for their temporary teammates, they stay together.
The lobby is a crowd of colorful creatures scurrying from side to side. Some of the faces are familiar – from the hall of legends and videos, from other events and worlds, rumors, and even fairytales.
– Whats up? – Fein waves at them. Today he's wearing funny makeup, making him look like he's just risen from the grave. Couri waves at them from around the corner, busy talking to a yellow girl. At the nearest counter, Fruit is enthusiastically blowing bubbles from punch.
– Oh, it's fine, – Rek smiles, – we made it easy this time. The interspace is quite calm.
– What about you, guys? – Zam asks, distracting from the Murder Drones discussion with Kab.
– We finally got our tunnel to stable; its even too easy now. – he shrugs, – good luck with the event, fellas!
When the opening part begins, they clink flasks with fire resistance. Its taste is rich but not nasty; like most potions, it is bitter, tart, and very complex. Zam spills almost half of it on himself, 4C adds in something else, and Rek and Jumper exchange shots, and they all laugh, wishing each other luck. Only after that do they go their separate ways, picking up those with whom they found themselves in teams.
Jumper and Kab leave together – and Jumper stays a little behind, subconsciously covering Kab's back. Shatter and Hansumfella are already together, and they are walking towards them through the crowd when Kab speaks softly:
– I'm glad Red couldn't participate.
Jumper nods knowingly. She touches Kab's shoulder to stroke her soothingly. Kab sighs, but then gets ready.
– Okay, now let's win, – she says confidently, and Jumper smiles back at her.

Predator/Prey
Dwight x reader
Running up and down the stairs of the Sanctuary was not how you had planned to spend your afternoon.
It had been two weeks since Negan had successfully gotten your boyfriend bitten by the beast he captured and the effects were getting painfully clear now.
Dwight never snapped at you before, now he got agitated by even a loud breath and today it got so bad you walked out of the late night emergency meeting.
Which is why he was chasing you now, up the staircase and stumbling over his feet in rage. You heard him closing in on you, his growling breaths and heavy boots getting closer to the corner you stood behind to catch your breath. You had to get away from him, he scared you now. Whatever he was it wasn't your sweet lover who'd use his high rank to bring you food.
"Now, now. You're not making this much fun, getting caught so easily." This Dwight scared you. He always loved you sweet and delicately and now in those last few days all you saw in his bright glowing eyes was hunger.
"Ahw come on, honey. I'll make it fair and let you run some more. Go!" He wouldn't round the corner, his entire body felt like it was burning, his skin crawling and his mind howling at him to catch you. His girlfriend. His mate.
You sprinted at his "Go!" and took sharp turns up the emergency stairs in the hopes of losing him and ended up on the roof. The door wouldn't lock from the outside so your best shot was to round the small bit of walls surrounding the entry and stay still.
He didn't lose you, he had your scent and easily sniffed you out.
Each step he took after getting onto the roof took a toll on his humanity. You heard his growling breaths and deep, animalistic sniffs to find you, and when he did he wasn't Dwight. Scraps of fabric hung on his frame, remnants of your favorite shirt of his and strips of his jeans dangled as his tail swayed from side to side. He stood taller than before and the only way you could even still recognize the creature as Dwight was the fur color and the burned half of his face.
So even the all healing curse couldn't reverse Negan's torture. He missed an ear in this form, too.
His low growls had you frozen in place, unable to run because he's catch you anyways. He was already skinny as a human, but in this form it was even worse. The long legs and pointed claws, long thin snout it was all so lanky.
You were too scared to take your eyes off him as he approached, leaning down and sniffing at you before grabbing at you and tossing you aside. Not hard enough to hurt, but enough to bruise later.
The beast had space now, able to easily move around and pull at your limbs to get you where he wanted. He might have not been your Dwight in your eyes, but the beast still had his emotions. It became clear when you looked him over.
"Man, it sucks dates ate barely a thing anymore in this world.." You two sat next to each other on the staircase, enjoying a sandwich in peace. It was one of the few moments you had together. Lunch. Your shifts barely ever lined up and all the time you shared in your room was spent sleeping. "Yeah. I'm sorry, honey. I should get us a day off to just do nothing."
He always apologized, even when he didn't need to. "Hey, I'll even take a rooftop picknick. Maybe late night snacks and then fuck on the roof?" It was mostly a joke, no way of having any privacy anywhere in or around the building except for in your room. But still he laughed and agreed joking. "Yeah, sounds good to me."
The creature sat hunched over you with its muzzle barely an inch from your cheek. You felt its sniffing breaths on your skin but were too distracted by other things to mind it. The memory of your shared stairway lunch flashed by as you stared down his body and your eyes landed on his erect cock.
"Dee?" He growled and pressed his wet nose to your skin and pawed at your clothes.
"Okay, it is still you, right honey?" Your hands still hadn't moved as you watched him nod. The panic in your system started to fade slowly as you followed his movements and understanding you had no other way out than to give him his treat for capturing his prey. He won his game so he expects a prize.
He was still your Dwight, so you saw no real problem as long as he stayed calm like this.
"Okay, okay. Calm down with the claws, I'll help." He pauzed immediately, following your hands as they did the delicate work of unbuttoning your pants and unlooping the elastic from the button to pull down your zip. But as soon as that was done he was back to pulling at the fabric to get you naked.
He didn't lose his eagerness. His movements even mimiced those of his human self so you knew what was happening and when, so you knew you had to toe off your shoes before he yanked your pants down and went to push up your shirt and lap at your stomach and chest. He loved the softness and went to grab at your hips to pull you against him. It gave you a moment to unclasp your bra and within a second his tongue found your now uncovered tits.
You were so dustracted that the prod of his tip against your entrance caught you off guard and you you yelped a bit. His rumbling laugh relaxed you immediately after as he started working his way inside of you less careful than you were used to.
Little groans of pain left you but Dwight disn't seem to hear you, too lost in how good you felt. His tongue hanging out of his parted maw as he thrust into you lazily now that he was fully in.
The roll of his hips quickly turned pleasurable and your groans turned into whines and moans while your hands found his fur to hold onto and your legs wrappes around his hips.
Dwight started to grt sloppy, thrusts uneven and grumbling incoherently as he worked you both to your highs. His clawed hamd grabbed yours to lead it down bwtween the two of you, not wanting to accidentally scratch you with his claws, so you went to rub at your clit for him, just the way he'd always do for you.
With your walls clamping around him so deliciously he didn't need long before he shovee himself inside down to the base and spilling deep within you, the stretch of his knot pressing at all the right spots and pulling you over the edge with him.
When you both came back down you gave each other a look and couldn't help but laugh.
He might have lost his ability to speak in thia form, but the soft nuzzling against your cheek said enough.

🎶🎵Caught up in a dream that I just thought was passing through Colored in with vivid memories of me and you And on a moonlit night I've never seen stars this bright No I can't help it I've been catching feelings over you And I hope you catch them too🎶🎵 Catching Feelings by Drax Project
_____
Pavitr sits atop the highest tower in Mumbattan as usual one Friday night, his lustrous wavy hair flowing in the chilly wind as he bites into a vada pav. The full moon shines bright behind him forming a scenic midnight backdrop. He hums a happy tune to himself, swinging his legs as he watches over the city, his late night chai sits piping hot beside him.
A faint meow gets Pavitr's attention and he smiles, his mind going back to that night five months ago, to You; You -who's been plaguing his dreams and every waking moment, hoping to just get a glimpse of those enchanting eyes again. You, Black cat.
Spidey-sense alerts him and quickly he catches a rock thrown at him from behind. He turns around but there is no one. Before Pavitr could investigate further, another rock comes for him but he misses it. Interesting..
The hopeful smirk forming on his face quickly fades when he hears a cry for help. His eyes land on an elderly woman backed into an alleyway four streets hence, clutching tight on her purse as muggers surround her.
Pav swings to the spot instantly, webbing up the guy who tries to muffle the old lady. Another guy approaches the woman with a knife but before Pavitr shoots his web, a kick to his face sends him slamming onto the wall.
The raven haired hero grins widely knowing who the mysterious helper is, even though he can't see the face. He quickly ties up the muggers, leaving them dangling on his web upside down from a street lamp and retrieves the old lady's purse, walking her to safety. The police are quick, but not enough to catch Spider-Man or his mysterious feline helper, who escape.
Pavitr watches from a high building quite far from the scene of crime as the men are cuffed and taken to the station, grinning as he turns to You -Black cat.
"I see you've taken my of-fur", he says, rather smug about his pun as he leans out on the rooftop.
You roll your eyes.
"You still haven't caught me, Spider", you remind him and quickly jump onto the adjacent rooftop, giggling as he follows you. "That was the deal, wasn't it?"
"Then, ready or not, here I come!" He laughs, his sound music to your ears as you run across the rooftops. He shoots webs at you but you evade them easily, pouting as you crawl onto another building.
"Cheating spider!"
"Scaredy cat", he scoffs playfully, coming to stop before you on the same rooftop.
You grin widely at him and he mirrors you, energetic and full of adrenaline. But when Pav takes a step forward you jump into the alleyway below, taunting him to follow with a beckoning finger.
Instead, it's a web that comes for you, wrapping around your body as it glues you to the wall. Pavitr dives from the top headfirst, hanging upside down by his web as he slowly descends before you.
You pout, not liking being stuck to the wall but only then realize in the darkness -at the same time as he- how close his masked face is to yours. Your breath is practically on him. Time seems to stop as you lock eye contact, breaths quickening as he comes closer -only an inch between you now.
If you lean a bit, you'd be able to kiss his lips. Your heart misses a beat at the thought, breath stuck in your throat as your eyes begin to flutter on their own from the proximity. You can almost smell his cologne. Oh God..
"Caught you"
His voice is barely above a whisper and you take a second to register his words, blinking open and shaking yourself out of the daze as you regulate your breathing. What were you thinking!
You roll your eyes and use your claws to release yourself from the sticky binding, mostly to put distance between you, landing from such height as gracefully as a cat. "Fine", you huff, crossing your arms and smiling as you look up at him, "You win. We'll be the do-gooder duo."
"See? I told y-"
Police sirens sounding nearby interrupt you. That's your cue; you look at him and he nods in understanding. Spider-Man swings to the rooftop again, swooping low to take you along. Vigilante or thief, cops hate you both with no disparity.
"Phew! Close call."
"Yeah", you trail, realizing how intimate you stand, bodies touching each other. You hate how quickly your hope goes up. "So close.."
His strong arm is still wound tight around your waist, holding you close to him and you can feel his heart thud below the thin fabric from where your hand is placed on his chest. You timidly bring your other hand to rest on his chest too, slowly sneaking upwards.
"Yeah", he licks his lips, itching to tear off the mask.
His colorfully masked eyes stay wide as you stand there, caught in a trance. You hesitantly lift the bottom of his mask but he does not stop you, letting you reveal his lips. A chilly breeze sends his wavy hair floating and you tuck a stray strand behind his ear, leaning in. His nose softly nudges yours.
Blood rushes to your cheeks, heartbeat thudding loudly in your ear. This is it. You're gonna.. he's gonna..
A gust of wind sends your long white hair flying into his mouth. "Seriously!?", he groans, spitting it out. "Sorry, can you- ufff, it's so windy today! It's like the universe is against us kissing."
"We were about to kiss?", you mutter as if you just didn't hope the same. He doesn't need to know that, though.
"I don't know..", he says quietly, "you tell me.."
He's evading. You know he is because you are too -because, obviously, you guys more than just like each other. Very much. How can you not, when he is all you think of in every waking moment? How can you not, when you've spent the past five months watching him from the shadows and being confused with your feelings?
"Sorry, sorry", he pulls away, putting distance between you. "It's too soon, isn't it? I mean, we've only met once and..."
Whatever he wanted to say goes with the wind. Spider-Man ponders quietly for a while before he speaks again, borderline accusatory. "Is this another trick? How do I know this isn't another distraction for a bigger heist your friends do as we speak?"
"They're aren't my friends, just business partners with who I have no ties after I split the fortune. And, no, this isn't a trick."
You can tell he's still skeptical -naturally, but you're aren't angry- and decide to prove your sincerity instead. With determined fingers you pull off your eye mask, letting your whole face be seen under the bright light of the full moon. He gasps, stuttering to speak but words fail him.
"I am Y/N Y/L/N", you say, loud and proud, "and I'm Black Cat."
It's no secret, everyone in the crime world and out knows who you are and not just as a cat burglar.
He stands there still and motionless, unmoving, gaping like a fish -and your confidence falls. Tears sting your eyes but you swallow them down, not wanting to cry in front of him. You hadn't changed out of the goodness of your heart, you'd changed for him. Maybe you were too quick to trust?
"Well", you shrug and pull on your mask, "Guess that's enough shock for today. I'm gonna go..", you say, unsure when he still doesn't respond.
You're almost about to retreat into the dark alley -go home and probably kick yourself for the oh so wonderful idea- when he calls out to you. You turn around and sit on the edge of the roof, waiting patiently.
"Honestly? I.. I never expected you to unmask and.. God- this is all so new to me." He sounds positively astonished. "I've never done this before..."
For a moment he just stands there trying to collect his words and fail. In the end he gives up and -oh my God, did he just remove his mask!?
You hardly expected him to do it. You knew it was a big deal, you know the power behind it and that it was nothing like yours. He was the person Villains spend their wealth on just to see the face behind the mask, he was the face even the government begs to know! No one knew Spider-Man's identity.. except for you, now.
"My name is Pavitr Prabhakar and I am Spider-Man."
He is even more beautiful than you imagined -which you definitely did NOT spend an alarming amount doing.
Seeing you freeze in surprise, he comes closer putting a warm hand on your shoulder just like your first meeting. "Trust must go both ways, kitty cat, and I trust you. Or should I say, mew?"
You laugh at his horrible pun as stray tear of joy springs to your eye and you let it fall, overwhelmed. It's been so long since anyone has looked at you without disdain or contempt, without distrust.
Sirens blare down a few streets, gunshots distinct in the calm late night air as red lights spin frantically to catch attention.
Your happy moment doesn't last for long but you aren't complaining, wiping off the tear and quick on your feet as Spider-Man -Pavitr- swings to the scene of crime. A bank robbery.
"Lend me a paw?", he jokes, you following right at his heels.
"Mew betcha!"
