I stumbled across someone who calls themself 'gender critical', a 'hater of all things male', AND a 'transguy butchdyke'.

we've finally done it, everyone. a gender crit who is the very thing their peers despise: someone who's transmasc. I'm starting to think people are this stupid on purpose

this happens soooooooooooo often it's really painful. i'll try to explain, i do agree with you that it's just willful stupidity in the sense that they're riding the high of being a jackass. like inside of troll communities like this all they really do is ride the high of pissing people off. also, unfortunately, a lot of these people are extremely vulnerable and deal with very low self esteem and use these kinds of violent, angry, exclusive communities as a way to self soothe and it never works out. its an echo chamber and they stay miserable and all that's left to do is ride the adrenaline rush you get from pissing someone off

generally what happens in this case can be one of a few things. the first is that they tend to be trans mascs or men who watch fucked up trans creators on YouTube like Kalvin Garrah or Buck Angel who tell them that non binary people aren't trans and that trans men can never be feminine ever. but then they also interact with rad fems and get suckered in because the rad fem community tolerates butch transmasc people to an extent in order to increase their numbers. they don't really care all that much if you're transmasc as long as you're suckering other people into their cult, they're happy as can be.

unfortunately this also stems from people who detransitioned and felt completely disenfranchised from their trans identity and time spent as being trans so they take it out on other trans people. they didn't end up being trans and they're pissed off because trans people "tricked" them into doing it too. usually what it is is that person is either genuinely curious or has low self esteem and does something because someone they look up to does, only to find out its not for them, so they take it out on the group they didn't fit into instead of moving along. it just realy sucks because there's nothing wrong with detransitioning at all whatsoever, but its the people who become bitter and jaded from their experiences and take it out on other trans people that really need to sort their shit out.

anyone who's proud to be a man hater is a rad fem there's no other reason to be like that. and it's just weird as hell when i see rad fems trying to "reclaim" certain genderqueer lesbian terms when they don't even fit into those categories to begin with. if you hate and reject manhood how are you a man? suffering is not righteous, you will not gain anything by allowing yourself to suffer for someone else. if you hate manhood and are a man: that means you hate yourself. that is your cross to bear. you need to sort that out with yourself, not take it out on other people.

it's just dumb. i agree with you it's some sort of willful stupidity in order to troll and fuck with people. they get a kick out of it because it pisses people off. that's really all it is. they think they're counterculture, but they're edgelords. they're not making any bold statements by using terms that are heavily used by trans people (including detrans btw) and then somehow saying its now a rad fem or gender crit thing. you're doing that for shock value.

i stopped seeing that kind of behavior lately fortunately but it's all over this website. there are so many people on here who have just completely willingly walked right into rad feminism and brag about it. like they're somehow these cool punks who don't follow the rules. like they're somehow making a statement, like they're somehow breaking societal norms in a productive way. theres literally 0 critical thinking involved in rad feminism. all they do is actively oppress women and trans people, how is that "counter culture"? that's fascism. you're just a jackass fucking around with words on the internet to piss people off. that's just troll behavior. nobody cares, we have shit to do off of our phones and computers

Thinking of Titans and the idea of "hosts" for my nameless AU

Kronos is obviously a very different case since he was chopped up and sent into Tartarus but I don't think its a stretch for other Titans or Giants to be able to if strong enough and put in a similar situation.

I am currently playing around with an idea of Kronos (and later Gaea specifically with Percy and maybe Leo?) being able to lend people pockets of his power and Kronos using them to influence a person.

Because I've been thinking about it and I don't know if it was outright stated. implied, or just made up and I gaslighted myself into thinking it was canon but I'm pretty sure Luke was Kronos's like LAST option as a host and I think he wanted Percy as his host (maybe Thalia if Luke convinced her?).

And so at first I was going to do something like this with Percy, but I decided against it (mostly after rereading falling for you for the 3rd time) because I do wanna do Gaea somewhere in this AU and I feel like the relationship between Gaea and Percy has the potential to be so much more personal than it ever was between Kronos and Percy (because Kronos wasn't really Percy's true villain, not really, it was Luke if that makes sense lol).

So I'm sort of playing around with the idea of Kronos aiming for Nico. Because Kronos def wants a big three kid as his host and Thalia and Bianca are sorta out of the picture. And with how vulnerable Nico is, by the time Nico wants to turn back, it may already be too late.

And yes, Jason is at CHB and is definitely an option, Kronos didn't think of Jason as a host. Because Jason isn't the type of person Kronos is looking for or can really exploit. Kronos seems to go after jaded, bitter, and angry characters mostly and while Jason is a little bitter, he isn't really angry, not when Kronos is looking for a big three kid host. Because Jason isn't upset over losing his sister, he barely knew her. Yeah he's bitter, but not at a point where Kronos can use it.

I'd say in this AU, Kronos tries going for Percy, but he's blocked off. For whatever reason, Kronos just can't get in.

Now, there's one other titan I'd think about doing it with or having a role where he's lending characters his powers. Ophion.

Anyways it's almost 12 and my brain is dying so I'ma just post this.

To be honest, I can see that too. Cater seems like someone who isn’t all that into anime and manga, but is aware of it enough to recognise that the cover is pretty and that there is something gay inside (he might figure out the latter thing later as he looks inside the book lol). His sisters really could be into it though, so I can see him having certain associations.

I feel like I was pretty vocal about it, so I am sorry for talking about it again, but I really didn’t enjoy how Ch2 was handled and Leona in general, to be honest. I wrote a post about my grievances a whole year ago, but my stance didn’t really change. We’ve rewatched the majority of the main story since then, and I thought that maybe with fresh minds and fresh eyes we would enjoy Leona at least to some degree, but unfortunately it didn’t really help. The events don’t really help either…

There might be some other things, but this is the one I think about every time when we talk about the flaws of TWST writing.

There are some titles that we kind of started watching, but then stopped because it wasn’t fully out yet, and since then we kind of lost interest for this thing. And with some of these titles it’s very unlikely that we’ll ever go back, but it’s never 1000% impossible. But then again, it’s not like we loved these titles…

first i have to say that i adore the idea of suzaki settling for what he can have. from his youth, he has never asked for anything nor has he had anything given to him without him having to fight for it and win it with his own fists and blood. he’s lived 18 years and has never wanted anything because he knows it’s not his place in society and he knows the nature of his upbringing and his family’s place in the socioeconomic hierarchy has taken all his chances to be someone important enough to make any sort of demands. suzaki is content with what he’s allowed to have, and yet…

yet, at the tender age of eight, he falls in love with amagai kohei, and the reality of just how many things in his life are completely out of reach settles in his bones. even years apart can’t change how badly he yearns for amagai, something like a deity to once humble mortal who was grazed by the divinity and suddenly wanted something bigger than the world.

and it’s fine, it’s really fine. amagai reenters his life, he’s jaded and bitter now and even so he’s still the most beautiful person suzaki knows and even so hes still the one suzuki wants. and it’s fine that he cant have him, he never expected to. he loves amagai, amagai won’t see him anymore, he and amagai have no reality where they can be together. he never expected to have amagai, he can live with never being able to touch his face and kiss him.

so when amagai pushes him down onto a sofa in an abandoned part of senomon one day, he shatters this barrier, all these walls suzaki has put up to hide his forbidden desires. amagai looks at him with lust, with eyes unbecoming of the son of the amagai group, and it’s not love but suzaki will take it. who is he to deny amagai? who is he to challenge the want of a god? and how can suzaki even think to refuse it even if it’ll cost him his heart? he loves amagai, amagai wants him for at least this moment, he can live with this compromise even if it shatters him.

at least, that’s how he felt at first.

maybe if suzaki grew up in a better environment, maybe if he could buy lunch without having to count the pennies in his wallet, maybe if he wasn’t raised to serve and give his mind and energy and strength and body and love to others and leave naught for himself. maybe then, suzaki would know himself better and maybe then, he would know that the bare minimum he’s conditioned himself to accept has never once been enough for him. amagai’s given him a taste of heaven, and it’s not enough. it used to be fine that he would always be on the giving end of everything, that his greatest desires were unreachable, that he was made to be at the inner bottom of the pyramid, supporting the whole structure and yet never getting recognition or ogling praise for it. it used to be fine, it used to be enough.

and it’s not now.

it’s not, because he flew too close to the sun. suzaki can’t kiss him but he can fuck him. amagai likes him enough as a “friend”, as someone amagai isn’t bothered by keeping around because suzaki does his job well and supports amagai with the fierce loyalty of a dog that has been hurt by everyone but amagai. an heir, a son, someone important, a de jure leader, amagai doesn’t have the time or ability to have a real relationship at all. and suzaki is good at his job, he fights on amagai’s behalf, he’s given amagai everything, so amagai rationalises that his body wouldn’t be too much to ask for.

suzaki’s heart takes up half his body, and amagai takes up most of his heart.

i don’t see suzaki as someone with a strong sex drive. he has other problems. where’s his next meal going to come from if amagai doesn’t pay his dad? there’s a leak in his roof that has been patched up with duct tape. lately, his next door neighbours have been arguing through the night about a crack that has started to appear on the walls in between their apartment and his own. he has so many problems that have gotten in the way of him exploring and getting to know himself. what he does know is that he’s amagai’s, that even if metaphorically, there’s a stamp on the back of his neck with amagai kohei’s name on it. he knows love through his feelings for amagai, he knows devotion and service. he doesn’t know himself, but he does know who he is as an extension of amagai. amagai asks for pleasure, suzaki will give it to him.

anyways tl;dr suzaki is sooooo suffering. our depressed wet puppy washed away with the river current. but let’s discuss a bit on amagai.

first, him not being able to date/seek pleasure with people is total bullshit. partial bullshit because nobody but suzaki would actually date him if he wasn’t financially stacked. anyways, i see amagai as having some attachment issues, fear of dating or even getting to know new people for the very reason that he believes they’ll just be there for what he has, take everything from him, and leave him when they decide he’s no longer worth it all. and then there’s suzaki, his suzaki ryo, and amagai knows he won’t leave. maybe it’s because suzaki can’t leave without losing everything, maybe it’s because amagai is somewhat aware that suzaki loves him. it’s for this reason that amagai knows and trusts that he can bare his throat and show himself to suzaki. even in the vulnerable position he’d be in during sex (who else believes in mostly bottom amagai 🙋) suzaki would handle it with the grace he’s handled all of amagai’s other bullshit with, he won’t laugh at amagai, and amagai would still be treated like a god even with a dick up his ass. it’s an arrangement that works, suzaki who reveres him and only wishes to serve him.

suzaki is amagai’s safest option, and maybe there’s a part of amagai who has been creating excuses. maybe suzaki really is the one he wants, the only one he wants. the love and devotion suzaki holds for him, this is something most people will never get to experience, it’s something amagai himself knows he’ll never experience again. suzaki will never want anyone else, not if amagai can do something about it, because he can’t stand the thought of suzaki loving anyone on the same level he loves him, much less more. suzaki is amagai’s, he’ll give and take everything from suzaki if it keeps him on the leash.

in true amagai fashion, he doesn’t know how to process how much he genuinely cares about suzaki, much less show it to suzaki. and suzaki was built to know and understand and serve him, but he cant read something in amagai that amagai himself won’t acknowledge. so it exists like that, suzaki pines after someone who loves him and amagai lies and covers for himself as he finds a way to have suzaki without committing himself to something that unstable. unstable because of all the factors that surround them, their lifestyle differences, the expectations placed on amagai by the family he was born into, suzaki’s lack of everything material, all things that would crush a real relationship before it can properly start.

it’s the only way amagai can have him.

The Bridgerton fandom is beyond toxic and delusional btw.

Particularly Kanthony stans, Benophie stans and yes Nic/Pen, Lukola stans...all of whom have NO bearing on real life careers or performances. Though they can impact moods of the individual actors and their loved ones unfortunately. Which is why most of the actors limit their social media intake or don't use it at all.

Kanthony fans thought they could sabotage season 3. Season 3 surpassed in ratings.

Benophie fans joined with them because bitter not next season, failed too. Now both try to down talk season 3 as if you can hurt it at this point when the numbers are already logged?

Benophie's also running their mouths about how they'll "save" Bridgerton with season 4. Considering Netflix chiefs are crediting Polin, Nic and Luke for not only outpacing in subscribers but by lifting all the other Bridgerton seasons and QC...good luck "saving" anything. But I do guarantee if you all keep this up and don't perform better than season 3 that your words are going to be hung around your nextthe way Kanthony's were. Remember general audience is not the insular toxic Bridgerton audience. You have to impress them...not your insular circles.

Bridgerton Nic/Pen stans somehow convincing themselves Nic's career ascendancy began with them and particularly this season rather than back with Derry Girl's. She would have had a larger role in Barbie if season 3 schedule wasn't in way. She was ear marked to have more ascendancy before the season began in printed media because already on rise for last decade. These new roles didn't suddenly appear in last 2 months which Nic herself has said. Which is great for her because I've loved her awhile but there is a reason her career is moving faster than others out of the gate now no longer contracted to have to "lead" a season.

"Lukola" stans who seem to have decided Luke "betrayed" them and Nicola. Since they can't even credibly claim he did so romantically (though how they have tried), insist Luke having his GF at the premiere kept season 3 from being top 3 on Netflix now because ruined all the hard work poor Nic did. You delusional idiots.

First off LUKE did half that pr work because the GA wasn't watching those interviews just for her no matter how delusional you may be to think otherwise. They were watching because of their chemistry. It wasn't NIC's Premiere. It was HIS and NIK's premiere. HIS and HER work. And he damn well can bring anyone he likes to the premiere and if that bothers you...you are the one with the problem. Luke is not the only person in the show that should be forbidden from having people he cares for attend because of delusional stalkers on his tail. This is not the 1940's where the studio controls the actors and the fans get fed lies about their relationship regardless of the actor's feelings and thank God. If you are mad about that form of hard earned progress made decades ago, you shouldn't be watching a show that claims to be progressive to begin with.

Also, bringing her to the premiere didn't do a THING to hurt reception of the show. The only thing it did was hurt your delusion he had broken up with her a few weeks prior which was all the gossip at the time. THAT'S why you are mad and have been mad ever since, because he refuses to break up with a woman so you can continue to accessorize him with Nic to live vicariously through her. You are mentally deranged people who need therapy. You are the same people who rejoiced with he broke up with Jade and thought you influenced that too. You did NOT.

Now I don't mind liking the two and wishing they were together romantically but at this point I'm glad they aren't. I can only imagine if they WERE and DID break up if you treat him this way for having done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. Forbid actual feelings were involved and hurt what you'd all do then since you stalk and badger and bully and harass and lie and spread malicious gossip and try to hurt him as it is now simply for be friends with her her...which she reciprocates and seems perfectly content with.

Lastly, this group has some half witted theory that if they can't break up his relationship they can torpedo his career...and have succeeded. All because Luke hasn't announced upcoming projects yet. But if only he will hand over his life to them, they will make it all better and its not too late.....and I just want to laugh.

Even if it WERE true, I think I'd rather have no career than be reliant in their toxicity for one.

Second, Luke is not NEAR as open on social media as he used to be or as others are now including Nic. And given way he's been treated by these people wouldn't expect to change just to feed the same masses claiming he is a loser, pedophile (for dating someone in mid twenties' when he's barely in his '30's, and trying to refrain from giving him any credit for season 3' success or pr campaign. Seriously...the spread negativity to force the actor to refute and give you content is SO blatantly obvious and played out as a trick. Good on him for not falling for it.

Third...the idea Luke wouldn't at very least book another play or something on level of what the people who play Phillipa book is laughable to me. Seriously...these people have convinced themselves they've made him toxic gossiping online about his gf to point can't book anything. It's reading to me as delusional as Kanthony fans convincing themselves Polin had no fans. You all really should be best friends, you aren't unalike.

Regardless I am calling these people out but I want to end with saying none of them really are fans of Kate, of Anthony, if Jonny, of Simone, of Benedict, of Sophie, of Luke T, of Nic, or Penelope, or Colin or Luke N. Fans of theirs never would have behaved this way about their characters and these actors who all care and support each other. I find you people pathetic, impotent liars who are consistently ALWAYS shown to be wrong in time and not worth EVER catering to. I look forward to the next two seasons in fact because the two leads of those seasons don't use social media at ALL and it serves you all right. you are going to be suffocated for content and couldn't happen to worse people.

Lastly, in regards to the show....Luke's GF went to NY premiere and didn't affect reception of part one at all. Part two had nothing to do with him or his GF and everything to do with lousy plotting and writing and taking focus off POLIN and minimal scenes of Colin and just generally deciding to have the characters spend the last two episodes not talking, at odds, arguing, betrayed, very little romance and when they were romantic moments all colored by the deception they show hadn't let them work through. I can't possibly imagine why the GA who was told this was going to be a rom com season and romantic was incredibly put off by part 2. Even so still watched in large numbers, it just didn't have the viral effect of the carriage to pull past season 1 and that is on Jess and Shonda and how DARE you put that on Luke. He didn't write the show. I'm pretty sure if he DID and if Nicola DID it would have been far lighter and this deception wouldn't have carried until end of ep 6 and we'd all have been happier.

Instead he got less screen time than Benedict, you know the "savior" of season 4 according to Benophies, who basically had a sl celebrating how overjoyed he is not to commit to anyone. What a wonderful use of resources Shonda/Jess. So glad you chose to make this is the season where you have a sibling surpass the actual lead for screentime despite claiming each sibling gets their own year to shine before stepping back. How well did that work for you? Because I don't see network chiefs bragging about the number of re-watches those Benedict threesomes put up this year? But I'm sure they would have loved more Colin/Polin scenes to go with the Pen scenes and another viral moment like the carriage scene in place of them.

And since I'm ranting I'll go there as well. Those people at Netflix know which characters and scenes are pulling the most views, So does the show. I had heard time again from certain fanbases how other characters and couples were going to have to pull up Polin's numbers to save the season, then when the numbers came out heard it was because they were watching everyone else. Well. the netflix creative exec didn't single anyone else out. I'd love to get my hands on the numbers POLIN was doing next to the mediocre subplots they wrote. My guess is a fairly huge discrepancy. I'd also bet Shonda and Jess were having some regrets didn't put more scenes in for them this season if forced to be honest too.

I'm not against subplots mind you as someone who likes other characters and wishes to see them but the ones this season were very weak or in case of Eloise...maddening as so out of character. Only the Featherington's really shined in theirs. Another problem for season 4 if you remove them from the show, since no one else stepped up in secondary plotting.

For people who prefer little to no subplots, watch Queen Charlotte. That show would have been better if had more and a stronger complimentary cast, as it was the lead story of Charlotte and George was good but other than that not much reason to watch it again which is why I haven't. Reason I always loved season 1 is between both lead and supporting stories held interest. I don't want secondary stories gone, far from it. But I'd like them to be better and not some token always on honeymoon Kanthony, Benedict as Peter pan/threesomes, Eloise with bully Cressida etc...and shouldn't come at expense of telling the stories of BOTH lead characters which happened with Colin. Who SHOULD have gotten to resolve HIS family issues the way Pen did her, and have his innermost thought actually vocalized to someone other than Cressida and Fife along the way.

Kanthony should have had a REAL story (hate their fans, not the couple) and I've said in past could have taken from their book and have Kate with nightmares and tie it into her pregnancy and being a mother and having lost her mother. If you wanted Benedict to explore fluidity, why not START of season? Why did you do it at end when knew leading into his next? SO badly plotted.

If you as a show are tired of the diamond plot, don't make a pale copy of it with a "Sparkler". It was a season of wallflowers and overlooked and outcase people right? Why then waste out time with Francesca and the Queen and Lady D. Lady D SHOULD have been involved with the wallflower plot. Jess' excuse for not being was trash imo. Makes it look like Lady D only cares about the beautiful and powerful the way they've done it, complete character assassination from the book.

Why insist Queen Charlotte have to air first and then not tie in the younger version's struggle with finding a place in society until chess game at the end? You could have linked their stories far earlier and watched that chess game play out from ep 1. Such a missed opportunity to tie threads together. Just as not having Benedict explore earlier meant couldn't tie in brimsley as a subplot.

And I don't even want to start on Eloise again...except she is still where she has always been. No growth at all until maybe last episode or two. The show likes to pretend there were consequences for her, but ere there? The only thing she learned was not everyone was Penelope and would listen to anything she rambled about without listening to them in return. Either have Eloise really walk a mile in Pen's shows on the side of ballrooms unnoticed or bullied, or do the opposite and have her make friends with people who don't just talk and explore the difference between what IS possible vs what she WISHES were possible or hell...I have an idea. Why not have tied her into the Mondriches? People not born to privilege thrust into that world and have Eloise maybe finally catch a clue through them how lucky she's been but also...check some of her more radical prejudices. I don't think anyone believes Alice is dominated by the rule of her husband. Maybe they tried that with Cressida, but Cressida is a bully and falls flat.

Hii, i'm back with more chapters. i've realized i'm mostly saving the quoted i like to comeback later when the drama airs. (Btw i'm sad they still haven't released a trailer, it's been months since they wrapped filming).

Chapter 161-180. Jealousy. Rundu Battle.

to rephrase my tags on the original post. he is. such a bad angel. not in a morality sense but like he's shit at his job (affectionate)

the thing that inspired me here was like a uquiz that mentioned "how an angel loves humanity" which. no. they don't? they're not really allowed to feel, there is a story iirc from the talmud where somewhere before the creation of earth god had to basically kill all his angels and make new ones bc they were feeling too much. angels have a job to do, they are messengers, in some stories they execute god's will in other ways (like causing disasters or otherwise kill or fool humans), they do not feel, and if they care too much about humans they won't be able to do their job.

so naturally i thought about ratio and how nous won't notice him because he cares too much about humanity. which made me wanna do an au inspired by that

i'm thinking he does start out as an angel. his job actually is about helping humans. i think he starts out giving them knowledge and teaching them of god (metatron style, tho not as high ranking lol) but as he goes he feels like. well. this isn't enough. there is so much about the world that they deserve to know, and it would be evil to withhold it from them. so, he chooses to go against god's original wishes, and starts teaching humans of. everything he knows. the good and the bad. he sets aside laws and prayers and instead tells them about the various creatures god created, how water works, how to ward off diseases and make tools to make life easier. (i wanna compare this to azazel but like, minus the horny shit and war stuff lol)

i think. by doing this - helping humans help themselves - he indirectly causes them to pray less, to believe less in god and more in themselves. he thinks that's a good thing. god less so. so, he gets punished

usually my go-to in angel/demon aus is to go wildly off from actual lore but i feel like atp it'd be Wrong. still, i kinda wanna make him a fallen angel (not quite a demon, just. losing his wings/his ability to use them, as well as ofc other angelic abilities like being able to change his visage, and he can no longer enter heaven or view other angels unprotected. for story convenience sake he doesn't age but he's also not quite immortal).

he just lives on earth now, among humans he used to love, but now feels bitter about. most of them no longer listen to him now that they can't tell he's an (ex-)angel. he watches them make foolish choices, start wars, kill needlessly, hurt the innocent. still, he doesn't regret his choices. he knows they have the potential to be better, he's seen it before, he still sees glimpses of it as he lives among them. so he doesn't give up and maintains his original goal. he may no longer be an angel, but that doesn't mean he won't follow what his original orders *should* have been - help humanity.

a bonus detail: he still does wear his plaster head, for a few reasons - 1 he misses the ability to change how he looks, and he gets tired of his own face sometimes, so he hides it 2 as an extension of that, he's also tired of people focusing too much on his looks and not listening to what he has to say. like in canon yeah :P 3 he figured out a way to add some filter to the eyes which does allow him to look at angels in their natural form as well. i feel like he'll still meet up with old friends and it's a good safety precaution in case they forget to turn off their divine light around him lmao

now. since. i can't not do it. and bc i like having some story. this is gonna be rtrn ofc lol. aventurine is a demon tho bc duh. everyone from the ipc is (btw forgor to say, the genius society + some others like sunday are angels). they kinda have to be i mean jade is literally the devil

soooooo idk much about how demons work in judaism tbh. like some of them are just angels who've gone rogue and are now considered demons (i mentioned azazel, for example. he technically never became a demon or smth but he's still perceived as one, which is how it usually goes) but there's also cases like lilith who was just a human god created like he did adam, but she's considered like. the queen of all demons. some kind of just occur naturally, or are monsters that are culturally perceived to be demons? anyway all of this as a tangent to say that this is where i feel like i gotta start making shit up, lore wise. so sorry. there simply aren't enough rules and commonalities for me to follow 😔

i think aventurine would be a case similar to lilith, aka a human who became a demon. he's gone through all the shit he did in canon (but like, tweaked to our world) and he kinda. snapped. i think the despair and the drive for revenge just got to him. and this is where jade found him and their meeting was kind of like in canon but in a different setting - she's impressed with his way of talking himself out of things (and how he was willing to kill to save himself, so his regard to other humans is flimsy enough for her to work with) so she offers him a "job" - make deals with humans. that's all. get them to sign contracts and leave the rest to her. and in return, he can have whatever he wants really, he can live however he wants, he's not only able but even encouraged to sin, just gotta meet a quota of humans falling for his offers per month more or less lol. ofc, he does become immortal, and can't really get hurt by normal means (i have a whole set of rules in my head abt how both his and ratio's immortality works in this au that i may elaborate on later)

he settles into the role. it's not bad. it feels a little dirty sometimes, so he does try to swindle people who have already done bad things, but at some point he also becomes desensitized and stops putting in the effort of making sure he's not hurting innocents. "no human is truly innocent anyway" type of mindset. bitterness over what he's been through as a human, even centuries after it happened. seeking revenge on those who caused it, but they're long dead by now anyway, as far as he knows (👀). he's mostly just tired, and bored of how easy his job is.

that's when he meets ratio - thinking he's a random human, he tries working his charm. this man has something Off about him, but he's hot enough for aventurine to brush it off, and it's not like a human could hurt him anyway. he may as well have some fun before doing his job (gay sex. i'm talking about him having gay sex with him. i mentioned sin didn't i)

but this man immediately clocks him as a demon. he tries to brush it off with "haha, what are you talking about? demons aren't real" but he's sweating bullets bc the accusation felt so sincere, and it didn't seem to come from a religious place. ratio doesn't ask him to back off (beyond "i'm trying to work, leave me alone" maybe) or pulls out a cross on him, he's almost casual about the whole thing, and that scares the shit out of aventurine. but, it also thrills him - finally, an anomaly. not the usual job. someone *different*.

they go on their separate ways before aventurine can actually get anything out of ratio, but he doesn't give up. he tries asking around, gathering more information. he does find out his name, but it won't show up in any database. he learns that ratio has 8 phds (my guy had time to get them :P) but looking him up in any university brings up nothing (he used a pseud for each one. as to not stand out too much. in addition to moving from place to place every couple of years before people notice that he doesn't age)

so aventurine finds himself his own mission, a new goal - to find that mysterious man(...?) and get some answers. and maybe more.

this is all i have for the story so far tbh. i kinda wanna actually write this now lol but i won't, i simply do not have a large enough vocabulary to write ratio's dialogue :P but i'd love to keep writing it like this^ or write small story bits + other characters in this au (i'm already having ideas for robin and sunday actually) to flesh out the world the way i did with bsdlands for example. if anyone would be interested. but also if they weren't bc this is very fun

i may not show it but i have so many thoughts abt dr ratio in my new and fresh angel/demon au that i am simply holding back. to protect you.

Jade Leech

He expected nothing. Nothing to do with his brother about this. The Vice Dorm Leader of Octavinelle had fell in love with you like a regular guy who had fallen for a friend. No harm right?

It took quite awhile to capture the eel's attention, but he ended up getting dazed by how you seem to make him wonder what your next move will be, what you're thinking off, so many things from you that are unexpected.

And now, the truly unexpected will happen.

Through a simple, lighthearted confession, he was prepared for rejection or acceptance. But the look on your face had something he finds off, unreadable.

You told him with a solemn face, "If you give me your brother.

"Yes.":

"..What?" Jade was surprised, but... not quite a pleasant one. He was baffled. "What do you mean..?"

"If you want to be with me, let me take your brother."

"Why?"

"That reason I will not say."

Jade swallowed the lump in his throat. What do you mean 'take his brother?' Floyd? What could you possibly want Floyd for?

"Well, would you?"

Jade paused, his blue lips slightly pursed. Well... perhaps it just means.... no. He doesn't even know what it means. But...

"..Yes.." The last minute hesitation from him made your eyes glint mysteriously under the reflection of the rippling waters, light reflection of the waves danced across your face, the enigma of you sparking, his eyes locked with you.

"Okay."

Everything seemed normal once you left. The next day, Jade had his dear brother's company safely in his hand. Safely for the last time.

Deserted and alone, just the two of them in the deep blue sea. You appeared again to Jade, as he sees you again.

You looked towards Floyd with an ominous stare, which made him awkward.

"Huh?~ Hey Y/N-" a whirl of a current flashed in swift and sudden motion, Floyd's body was dragged into the whirlpool, such forced that clawed his body like a beast dragging its hopeless and pitiful prey.

"FLOYD!" Jade cried. Forgetting about you, the poor eel tried to pull his brother out of the monstrous current, his tail fighting to swim out of it. He grunted in frustration, as Floyd hollered and tried to swim his way out as well. They fought with such strength, such determination... the power of the siblings was truly commendable.

But alas, to no avail, the current forces were too strong for one eel to take, and his hands have lost his grip, releasing his brother's hand as he watched helplessly as Floyd succumbed to the whirlpool, his mismatched olive green and golden eyes that stared at Jade with an unwavering look was the last thing Jade saw of his own brother.

The now stand alone Leech, fell back down in slow motion on the sea bed, he huffed, and looked at his own hands in disbelief.

Let me take your brother.

"Why... why..." Jade whispered in a hush tone, you stood before him with an emotionless figure and expression.

"You have given me your word, so I'll take your brother," you simply stated, as if you are giving him a simple explanation.

"Give... GIVE ME BACK MY BROTHER!" He shouted, but he choked on his own tongue, the sea had carried his tears, it felt unfair that he couldn't even feel the warmth of his own, watery pearls to feel a little comforted.

But the bitterness of his tears, was not as bitter as the epiphany made that he had lost his brother.

All because he said "yes".

Floyd Leech

He didn't think of much, you were pretty "normal" in a sense that you never had done something weird to him.

Not saying that you didn't have some weird quirks, which made him fall for you in the first place, but you've never really shocked him to the extent of him being very confused.

Something about you always brings about new things that never leaves him bored!

And truly, now he wishes that from that day onwards, he wished you didn't change.

A simple, goofy confession from him, though unlike his brother, he never really thought of preparing himself for a rejection or acceptance.

But then the spark came, with that suddenly serious look on your face. "Then let me take your brother."

"Sure.":

"Eh??" Floyd raised an eyebrow with a pout. Take his brother? Jade?

"What do ya wanna do with Jade??" Floyd asked, his baffled expression didn't waver you at all.

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you that."

Floyd frowned. "Come on~ Pleeeeease?~" Floyd whined.

"I seriously can't Floyd."

The eel frowned, but he decided he wouldn't pry further.

"So, what's your answer."

Floyd had no idea what is going on, or what your question even mean. But... if you "take his brother", he'll be with you, right? Is this like accepting him in the relationship platonically? Or...

He trusted you, but he hesitated.

"Well?"

"..Sure..." Floyd muttered, but it sounded as if he was still in moments of deciding in what he should say.

Your eyes glinted mysteriously under the reflection of the rippling waters, light reflection of the waves danced across your face, the enigma of you sparking, his eyes locked with you. Floyd still wondering what on earth is up with you.

"Okay."

Everything seemed normal once you left. The next day, Floyd was with his brother again, laughing about how Azul was being super funny. The last time he'll share a laugh with Jade.

All alone, the two eels were swimming merrily in the deep blue sea with no one else watching them. You appeared out of the blue, eyes locking onto Floyd's.

"Hm? Y/N? Is there something you-" Jade's voice was cut off, a whirl of a current flashed across Floyd's eyes which consumed half of Jade's body, dragging him into it's mouth. Jade twist and turned, trying to pull himself out of the storm in the sea.

"JADE!" Floyd cried for his brother, swimming over to try and pull him out. He had completely forgotten you were there, only focusing on saving his brother from the sudden whirlpool that had violently tugged his brother. With all his might, Floyd fought with the currents, tail pushing and swimming against it, trying to pull his brother out. Jade struggled, but tried helping his brother reduce his strength while trying to swim out himself. The unbreakable force of the brothers was something not to be reckoned with.

But not anymore when Floyd and Jade had lost each other's grip, Jade being the one to let go of him first, as the forceful currents yanked him way from Floyd, the mismatched eyes of olive green and gold, the sad smile of his dear brother, all lost when the currents have engulfed him, Jade disappearing as if he was just a bubble that just popped out of existence, unseen and never to be seen again.

The now stand alone Leech, fell back down in slow motion on the sea bed, he huffed, and looked at his own hands in disbelief, whimpering and gasping for air. For his brother.

Let me take your brother. "This can't be real....." Floyd whimpered quietly, lips quivering as you stood before him with an emotionless figure and expression.

unlike most japanese, i'm not very fond of watching anime now sjshs though I used to really like detective conan and other fantasy anime back in middle school.

my oshis have one similar characteristic: the ones with shady and questionable personalities. and wearing glasses, and perhaps with white hair. (eg. jade leech, floyd leech, azul ashengrotto, trey clover, xiao, tartaglia, zhongli, vyn richter, akechi mitsuhide, nokto klein, yang, lucien, barbatos, etc.) the only excemptions for this are zhongli, xiao, venti and xingqiu lol

my hogwarts house is currently ravenclaw and i get sorted in either diasomnia or ignihyde a lot.

my childhood dream is to become an accountant but now, i wanted to be a successful lawyer :D
