Update: Oscar Piastri and girlfriend Y/n Sargeant were spotted leaving his private jet with Lando Norris and Logan Sargeant in tow. A few hours later, Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, and Carlos Sainz were seen leaving Max's private jet and meeting up with the other four.

The eight have since been spotted getting lunch and Y/n showing them around The University of Mississippi, aka Ole Miss, where she goes to school where she cheers and is in the premed program.

Then, at tonight's game, Oscar is supporting his girlfriend with her brother and the other drivers previously mentioned.

HONEY. THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING. If you think she sounds amazing as a BACKVOCALIST, then you're in for a treat to hear her as a main vocal of her OWN BAND HELLOOOOO.

I remember a few months ago in one of their (live? Q&A? one of them) instagram things, someone was commenting on how great she sounded, and one of the guys was like "yeah, and she didn't even get training, isn't that so annoying?", it was hilarious 😂 Miss Ma'am is a natural - no wonder Vessel got her (and the babes) to back him 💅

Turntail is fantastic, I've had it on repeat since Thursday. Their music is so interesting and unique, and a great of it is because of her singing. She does this crazy runs and unexpected intervals like it's nothing, and her tone is so so SO clear and stable. Her lows??? Like, honey can go reeeeal low and smooth and real high and crystalline in seconds just like that??

This song in specific, I super appreciate the eerie, melancholic vibes. It's such a great successor to The Collapse (their previous single), but somehow even better. And can we talk about that sexy bassline??? Johnny boy went HARD on it (like he always does. Same with my drummer boy Matt, he's fantastic. Also he writes a lot of the lyrics alongside Lyns, he's fantastic). I love the breakdown bridge and that last chorus so SO much. And the piano??? They always have the most heart-wrenching, soul-crushing, beautiful piano melodies, and yet I get pikachu faced everytime. What can't the queen do. Also, this is the first time they're using a voice effect-tune-thingy so, interesting choice there. The babes sound beautiful as ever too 💖

While my favourite thing from them is still the 1st ep (The Thing With Feathers - please please PLEASE go listen to it. The Downpour and The River are my favourite songs of them, they're so amazing, please I am begging you, you'll love it), you can absolutely hear how much better they get with each new thing they put out. I'm so so excited for when they finally release a full length album, it's been a long time in the making.

If you listen to their latest ep, Dancing In The Face Of Danger, you'll see that they went for a more upbeat vibe (notable on Pyre and Ever The Optimistic), so it feels great to hear the Sad Vibes™ again. Nothing against upbeat stuff (Pyre is one of their best songs fr), but I am an emo at heart sooo... yeah. Miss Birdsong sounds like an elf or some other woodland creature - idk if its just me but you can hear traces of folk music in it and ugh what a combo.

Super super reccomend you hear them live. There are a few recordings on YT, and some of them do feature one or both of the Espera babes too.

Also - do not sleep on their Diamond Eyes cover. Genuinely does NOT feel like a cover AT ALL. Covering Deftones is so daunting because of how unique a they are, and by god those beautiful bastards did it. I do very much prefer their version to the og, she really shines vocally there.

Random facts about random media I'm into 1#: The original plan for Gizmo in Gremlins

In the original script for Gremlins, Gizmo was meant to turn into Stripe. Basically being everything that Stripe was. From the personality down to appearance. Some have mentioned that Gizmo would have also grown a mohawk after he spawned the other mogwais (which is totally how hair works after you give birth to someone). Some conflicting sources have said he would have died at the end or turned back into a mogwai and Billy would have taken him back to the Chinese shop. However though in the OG script, a clean up team came in to clean up some of the gremlins's dead bodies and the mess they made. One of the workers stumbled upon a red toolbox and took ot with him. But while he was driving the box was moving and kicking. Thinking something was inside, the man threw the toolbox out of the window of his truck and the box went down a hill and fell into a nearby lake and it sinked. Then at the end a gremlin's cackle can be heard. Gizmo was inside of the toolbox and unfortunately that would have meant he got wet again and the nightmare would happen once again. Another source I've heard from is that in one of the storyboards I sadly can't find, Gizmo got his ear burnt off which could have sparked the desire to become evil since most likely nobody was around or simply didn't notice so it could have come off as they didn't care about the poor fella. Again I cannot find the storyboards or if that even is fully true. However though, Splielberg dismissed and scrapped that idea since he thought Gizmo was too cute and kids would be sad if he died. Also they gotta make money by milking a whole ton of Mogwai merch so obviously they gotta keep the babygirl Gizmo alive to make merch duh 💅

What is your worst IE headcannons?

I may be too out-of-touch from the fandom to know what people would consider bad and worst but I do have some that others may have an issue with! AND I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK YOU ABOUT HEADCANONS TOO, BUT YOU GOT ME FIRST! AND I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW YOURS VERY MUCH!! (although I haven't watched most of ares and orion so i may not understand some for now, I would love to hear them still!!)

This ended up a long post, I'm making this cut...

I'll start with a tame one (may also be really boring), but this one needs my other hcs for anyone to understand the actual one I want to share. Here's a "brief" list of the others (happened between og series and inago):

Gouenji has unparallel knowledge of ALL Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, and Ghibli movies and will defend the female characters with his life. (This is why I thought he probably knows MLP as I said on the last ask)

He's not a fan of social media and does not use anything outside of inalink and private messaging. Not because he's cool, he just doesn't understand them. Much like in honosuto with the laptop, initially with inatube, and how he always forgets his useless phone.

Yuuka convinced him to make an inatter (twitter) and inagram account because she does not want anyone to steal the @ and that she also wants to be able to tag him on her posts (and of his teammates/friends) so they can keep the memories. He saves all the pictures he gets tagged in and sometimes prints them out to keep in an album he designed (he's very good with crafts). I still can't believe honosuto came up with those social media names (except for inagram)

He only cared about the bare minimum use of social media so he only ever retweets in inatter (never made his own tweet ever; but he does reply on some that addresses him) and only posts his creations on inagram with no caption or a few words about what he made (made takoyaki, felted a bunny, crocheted a penguin, made cupcakes, etc.).

He only has three kinds of inatter rts: about soccer, about making art, and tweets of his friends and family. Yuuka made his bio in both of them. He also became good at taking pictures of his creations thanks to Yuuka.

However, he is mildly updated with internet language because that's all he hears from his sister and her friends and from his own friends in the group chat that he only talks in when he's mentioned. He assimilated most of the phrases they use in chats.

Having said all this, he almost has no social media presence. You're lucky to see his page updated after two weeks. He doesn't reply with strangers either unless it's a kid who loves or interested in soccer.

He also doesn't share much in interviews. Very bare minimum of answering questions and always answers in short sentences and just poses for the camera shortly before he bounces. His favorite answer to questions is "oh that's private" not because it's private but because he doesn't want to talk that long in public unless it's something that needs to be said. Example is a question of his opinion on human rights-- something that his agent and/or soccer club prevented the press from ever asking him again (an hc drop another time). He always had strong opinions and doesnt hold back in expressing them (og series and inago) and that's trouble for the club sponsors so they make a lot of effort of stopping anyone from having the opportunity of asking him anything outside of his personal and athlete life.

And the last context here is that Gouenji is autistic, but we already know that.

Okay so now time for the actual bad HC I want to share... which is how Gouenji came out as bisexual to the public

This started with an inatter thread of a person criticizing Anna (Frozen) for her actions in the first movie that reached Gouenji's timeline. Gouenji answers with 7 tweets worth of respectful paragraph of why Anna shouldn't be criticized because of how she was brought up, because of her isolation, and because of her grief, etc. So, everybody lost their mind, etc etc. AND NOW, at the midst of all this, a soccer fan asked him the question below that he answered without thinking much about:

This blew up and his notifications gets flooded with questions about his sexuality and questionable taste that he really didn't mind answering if it wasn't blowing up his phone.

He was out with everyone in his circle that he forgot the world didn't know he's bi. So, he fixed that by tweeting "yes, im bisexual" on his timeline. He logs out and then decided to wait a few months before logging in again.

This didn't sound as fun as I amped it up to be but I think it's a terribly bland HC that I find kind of funny

These are the redesigns I was talking about. They're a lil old but still hold up and I'm still very happy with them, I just decided to post em here

If you haven't seen my other post, I made these redesigns a few months back so imma just explain some things about them, like why I wanted to add the things I did. It'll be brief tho

So, Shroomy is a boy scout leader and I looked up outfits for that profession since Shroomy is nakey with only a neck tie, sach, boots and that funky hat. All the colours are relatively the same with some desaturation to the red and purple. The big hands are stylistic really but then again, the og model has pretty large hands as it is. The gap in his tooth is also just a stylistic choice cause I personally enjoy characters with a tooth gap and it just fits for this goober.

For Anti, the cuffs and one side of the neck scarf are burned because this dude, as we know it already, fucking batshit insane and some of his favourite weapons are explosive and do big damage (like the bazooka) so the outfit would get burned in the mayhem. Sharp teefs and claws cause he's evil and evil characters have sharp features, we already know this, it's like how they gave SMG3 red eyes and spikes on his outfit. The ammo sach just speaks for itself.

That's pretty much it. Don't get me wrong, I adore the og designs, they're so silly and the Dio face on Anti genuinely looks menacing. I just like making my own designs for characters just like others 💅💅💅

I'll admit, I wasn't aware there was a lot more lore with Ben, but since this is mostly based around the og version of ben the fandom took n ran with, I'll only really touch on the original ideas of the creepypasta

When he initially died, his soul got bound to his game; I feel like in his ghosty form he looks like how he looked when he was alive mixed with Link + other traits (his eyes being all messed up, his skin being blue with dark viens, ect ect)

He CAN bounce from device to device though it's. Hard, I'd assume

Oh goodness where do I begin!!! LONG POST AHEAD!!!! Ok soooo I have some posts tagged as #mad t fandom lore thanks to @spikrock and @hattersgirlalice for giving me the inspiration to start this whole rabbit hole of nostalgia lol which showcases the basic general info of the mtp band performer's nicknames and noteworthy moments in the fandom (mostly gifs of the band that altered the fandom in some way, and fanart from the captains)

U can watch all the videos of the band performing on YouTube (There's numerous sources but I personally like to watch Nick Turchens playlist another place to find vids of T are just random clips here on Tumblr)

The OG Captains from what I can personally remember were @briannacherrygarcia she was THE ARTIST! she made the majority of the fanart headcanons for the fandom along with Storywhisper who wrote fanfics! (unfortunately they're deactivated and it still makes me sad I wanted to reread all their fics to freshen up on the lore but alas they are lost in the void somewhere as far as I know if anybody has links saved uhhhh help a girl out 👀)

There's many other talented fanfic authors and fan-artists!!! Gifs and Photography were a HUGE part of the fandom! People would make reaction gifs out of any and everything! Alot of shippy moments that were captured by these talented peeps made us all go feral EVERY SINGLE. TIME. BCUZ THEY WERE OUR ONLY REFERENCE FOR CANON CHARACTERIZATION STUFF.

mainly skyrim! it's my most beloved, my bread and butter. however i recently also wrote for one piece, dragon age, spiderverse, and some older stuff for jojo's and star trek!

UGH i wish i could but i don't often do REALLY angsty endings. so this would probably have to be dragonmark, since it ends with tharya and miraak quite estranged from one another and quite a frosty exchange of dialogue, as well as setting up for the next fic (which ends a teensy bit angsty as well, but not really)

possible runnerup to this is from the new world with love, since it ends rather ambiguously on what happens next.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

easily revenant. it's a rollercoaster of a fic, approx 40 chapters iirc, but ends with the thing i set out to do when i initially started writing the first & last series :3

NO, but i have gotten bot comments! i'll take it as a mark of fame 💅 lmao (jk i have no allusions of grandeur)

YES. YES. YES. i'm probably a boring smut writer bc i kinda just write tharya and miraak over and over and over and over and over. but i do enjoy experimenting with them!

not really - though i did write a dragon break fic once and asked a few other writer friends to lend me their characters for it.

god....would it make sense to say even though i write, i'm not very active in fandoms? i've never really considered myself well and truly a PART of a fandom (aside from skyrim), just someone who likes to orbit the fandom and extract ideas from the source content. so i don't have many fandom/canon ships i like. can i say my own characters instead??? if so. my ldb/miraak 10000000%

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

hmm....well, it was arms of chaos before i gave up and deleted it. i have two longstanding WIPs (jojo fic and miguel fic) but i'm in love with their content and ideas, so i do have full intentions to finish them both! might just take a while

16. What are your writing strengths?

i would say putting emotion and description into my work. i LOVE trying to perfectly capture emotions as i feel them, even if that sometimes means the way they get written can be unorthodox. and, ofc, im obsessed with describing stuff all. the. time.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

description is a double edged sword LMAO😭 sometimes (most times) i go way too overboard or in depth. i also have a hard time writing kids 💀 and am not the best at writing normal fluff, i always need some kind of emotion or drama or problem/underlying plot to latch onto. i really wish i was, bc then i could write the cyrodiil vacation fic i've been dreaming of for two years

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

supporter! i do it occasionally with miraak and tharya. the original shōgun miniseries from i think the 80s is what first showed me that not all dialogue needs to be understood by the audience - in fact, it can be a powerful plot device when it isn't. so i'm a big fan of untranslated dialogue (in moderation) when it serves a purpose. otherwise i just denote the dialogue is in a different language after writing it in english.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

god....probably transformers (i've gotten over that shame and am now in love w transformers again)

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

i often say revenant because it is in a way my crowning glory. but it's also stuck in my old style of writing (which is not bad, just less matured imo, and more flighty). but revenant is probably my fav ever content for a fic, it's something i wanted to write for like 4yrs before i did - from the new world with love is the only fic currently completed in my newer, aged wine style, and i really enjoy that one as well!

((but my coming soon fic is probably gonna take the cake whenever it drops))
