So I've been pretty addicted to making these higher quality busts/icons for my characters over on Toyhouse lately

Dealing with mad people can drive anyone insane. But if you're given a hefty sum to keep the insane ones company, you'll take. Life is tough, but you can choose your own hell.

"Got you some drink. Your favorite flavor," Heidi, your 'neighbor' in cubicle, said cheerfully as she placed the drink and sandwich on your spot.

"Well, who are we kidding." You shook your head before placing the plastic cup in your trash bin along with the tasty sandwich that came with it. "They're really persistent, you know?"

You smiled sheepishly as you arrange your cubicle to start a new day. Unlike your workmates, your place is quite neat and devoid of anything that would identify that spot as yours.

No personal images pinned on the corkboard. Not even a framed picture of whoever inspires you to get up and work hard without becoming insane yourself.

Upon accepting the job offer, you made sure to draw the most visible line to keep your personal life to yourself. You've heard some stories—some myths—about some agents disappearing without any trace overnight. Like they never existed in the first place.

"I hope they fuck off, you know?" You sighed before putting on your noise-cancelling headphones. "May we survive this shift," you grumbled as you wait for the first call with baited breath.

You have frequent customers. Most of them were pleasant to talk to. Let's just say that they're not exactly the dangerous type of callers. Those type clients were, most likely, drawn to the idea of being a 'yandere' as a fantasy. Sometimes, there's a hint of sexualization.

Almost every person on the floor are taking calls. Including you. However, your gut's been telling you to ignore the call. Maybe it's one of those unhinged callers who believes that you're theirs. Like they own you and all of your time.

You still have some available credits for call avoidance since you rarely used your credits. Surely, this one call will not affect your performance rating.

While waiting for the phone to stop ringing, you decided to clean up your work email. Being bombarded with useless newsletters about food and books on sale is the worse. Not only does it make your inbox crowded, it's also spammy.

You were fightung the urge to just select all and delete everything at once when you suddenly heard a notification. One after another.

One from your email, another one from your messaging app, and lastly—from the internal chatroom.

You opened the email with an attachment. It was a blank email but as soon as the preview for the attachment appeared, you almost gagged.

It was an image of a man's cock. There were translucent liquid splattered everywhere while the tip of his dick is on a cup—filled to the brim with iced coffee with foamy top. Your favorite.

Your hands were shaking as you exit the window of the website. You clicked the messaging app first. 'Perhaps it was just a promotional message from one of those companies.'

But no.

It was a message from a private number. You don't have any idea how they did it, but they kept sending you images. Most of them were blurry, but the ones with better quality almost made you vomit.

It was taken in a small room. At first, the room was dark, but eventually the image light up. His face was blurred, but you could clearly see what he was doing.

He was fucking your pillow. The one you've been using since you've moved in a better place with better security.

You were confused. And scared.

How could he easily enter your place? Your keys are with you and only the management has access to other duplicates.

"No way..." you whispered as you close the messaging app's window.

One bomb was dropped after another. And you knew something's off.

[NOTICE OF TERMINATION]

Due to multiple reports of call avoidance and drop calls, the management has decided to relieve you from your position as an agent effective immediately.

As we value your well-being, rest assured that you will be receiving your full payment for the next three months along with the other benefits that the company has sworn to provide you.

We sincerely appreciate your efforts for the last three years. We wish you all the best from this day forward.

You were devastated, yet relieved upon reading the letter. You've been wanting to receive this for months. It was the only way out of this place and this industry. You've also managed to save up a lot that you can start fresh somewhere. Far from this place.

Another phone call managed to bypass the automatic system of the place. You took a deep breath before accepting the call.

"Hello?"

"I can't... wait... haah..." the man on the line was clearly doing himself. By the eay he sounds, he's probably close. "We'll move to a big house... haah... hngg... a baby, a babyyy... nhnn... come home..."

Your eyes widened upon hearing your name. Not the screen name you gave them, but your legal full name.

"Let me... hngg... make you a mommy... d'you want that, huh?" You could a wet sloppy noises in the background. "Tiny baby... sucking on your tits... while I make a mess out of you?"

"Ap—"

"No need for... apologies..." he was breathing heavily. "I'll see you soon, okay?

"Heimdall."

He chuckled. "That's me, my princess... took you long enough to say my name."

"How did you get into my house?" you asked while gritting your teeth.

"Patience, my love. We could talk all about it once you're home. Should I get you something to eat? Chicken? Cake? Sandwich? Coffee?"

"I'm done with you."

You immediately pressed the end call button before gathering your things and left. Not even a farewell to your friends.

"For you, always." you answered as she sat in the bench in front of your locker. You were all getting ready for the day's match.

Parting her hair to get started, your face twisted in concentration. You were the most dedicated person she knew. No matter what for.

"You have the softest hair." you said absentmindedly. Taking in the smell of her cherry blossom shampoo you loved so much.

She admired you with puppy eyes, as you secured the bun with the last bobby pin.

By now you were used to doing the hairstyle for her, but she never got used to the feeling that would install in her stomach as she stared at every freckle or blemish on your face, or how your eyes always had a sparkle to them.

"All done. Go check if you like it." as you finished up, and she got up to look at it in the mirror.

As you turned around to put the hair products away you saw Lea shake her head with a smirk on her face.

And you only agreed with her. Of course you did. You didn't want to seem so dependent on her. Even though everyone knew you were dependent on each other.

When she texted you she was outside, you were quick to get out and into the passenger seat.

"Hey." she said, placing her hand on the back of your headrest, looking over her shoulder to reverse.

You watched her with attentive eyes. When you thought she couldn't get hotter, you were proven wrong.

"Stop staring at me like that!" she said with a small laugh.

"Sorry, just checking for some new gray hairs on your head. They seem to multiply every time I check." you said trying to turn the conversation in a different direction.

"You said the other day I'd look cute as a granny!"

"I did." immediately earning a small smile from her. "But I wasn't counting on you having gray hair by 30." you added.

And she quickly made a fake offended face.

Dinner was nice. You were seated in between Giulia and Obi. At first it was Klara who was sat there, but Lena insisted for them to switch, so she could be the one to sit by you.

Conversations were exchanged freely between all, sometimes about serious stuff, sometimes making jokes at each other. Lena was always the first one up when it came to poking fun at her friends.

"You'll die alone if you keep that up!" said Syd to her friend.

"Aw don't be so mean! It's nothing to stress about. If nothing works out, we'll marry each other." you said trying to defend Lena.

"We made that agreement when we were ten! It's not like it's still valid." she was quick to add. Meaning harm or not, that had taken back not only you but the whole friend group. You immediately removed your hand from her thigh, your smile fading, and the alcohol leaving your body.

Of course you had made advances before, and she would always end up turning them down, despite acting the exact opposite of that, and giving you mixed signals.

It's like she pretended to herself, there was nothing there.

You felt embarrassed. But you decided to just shake it off and grab another drink.

"What the fuck was that?" asked Lea while she, and a couple of the girls, cleaned up the kitchen, so they could gossip a little over what went down, few minutes prior.

"I have no idea."

"I don't get it.

Why does she keep acting like Y/N is a lovesick woman pursuing someone that doesn't feel the same?

She's the one who can't stand an hour away from her!"

"Did you see her earlier? 'wouldn't you prefer I drive us there'," she said imitating her friend's voice. "Girl can barely function without Y/N."

"What if she doesn't realize it?"

"How?! She acts like she's the only person in the world, just to turn around and reject the poor girl."

"Either she is clueless emotionally or she's leading her on out of fun."

"Good morning, everyone!" you said coming into the locker room to get ready for training. Everyone greeted you while finishing whatever they were doing.

"Hey!" said Ana, one of the new players you had become friends with. "Can you help me with my hair?"

"Yes. Let me put everything down." you did. And you hadn't even noticed, Obi's arrival. After that you only grabbed your boots and your water and left for the field, almost late.

Lena had a hard expression on. Your fingers should lace around her strands and her strands only.

Your voice was always her favorite thing in the mornings, followed by coffee.

The slight decrease of attention, stung like a hundred bees had driven into her chest, reaching to her heart.

And everyone noticed, exchanging looks before joining in outside.

"Everyone divide in trios for the drills." said one of the trainers.

You immediately stuck by Ana knowing she still hadn't made many friends yet.

It was always the worst to be the last to be picked out.

So you made sure that didn't happen to her. At least not in the first couple of weeks.

Lena was quick to follow behind you, not wanting to potentially be called up for any other group.

after training

"You'll do great! We needed someone with your skills here." you said to the girl.

"Thank you, really."

"You know what? I can take you to the spot with the best açai bowls in town! Lena and I usually go there after trainings. You can join us, right?" you said turning to Obi.

"Yeah, yeah sure." she answered with the best worse smile she could manage.

She was hating this whole interaction. But she was not about to leave you alone, with her teammate rival, in her favorite food place.

That would feel like a double loss.

Arriving there, you went straight to your usual spot by the window, so you could enjoy the sunlight.

Usually Lena would sit opposite from you, in the shade, while you enjoyed the warm.

It always brought a smile to her face to watch you sunbathe.

Like a flower savoring the first sun ray of spring after a long winter.

So she shouldn't have felt so bothered by Ana sitting next to you. Right?

She was about to get up, to order both of your usuals, but you beat her to it.

"It's okay, I'll order so I can help Ana too."

Once more it was as if fire was coming out of her nostrils and steam coming out of her ears.

Was she even allowed to feel this way? After all she had been the one to make sure to keep as, just friends.

And you were probably just being friendly, to the girl, who knew nothing in this new country.

But she had never dealt with this. With jealousy.

It's been just the two of you for so long, she had stopped considering other people as threats.

Threats to an inexistent relationship with you, that she had successfully kept that way, with foolish actions.

"It'll be right out." you said snapping her out of her thoughts, placing the water bottle she usually had in front of her while sitting down.

"Where's Ana?"

"She went to the restroom. Are you okay? Did you get hurt during training?"

"What? No, I'm fine."

"You're quiet and honestly you have a bitch face on." you said managing to get a sweet laugh out of her.

And before she could elaborate, you were once again joined by your friend.

After having some light conversation and finishing up your snacks you all headed out.

"Thanks for the invitation and the ride guys!" said Ana getting out of the car.

"No problem, see you tomorrow!" "bye" you and Lena said at the same time.

You turn the engine back on.

"She reminds me a lot of what it was like when I first got here. It can get pretty lonely, hopefully she settles in nicely." you said paying attention on the road, the tables turning and she was now the one staring at you.

Mind wondering off.

What a woman you were.

Why? Why were you always so kind and mindful about others?

Ana was welcomed by everyone in the team, and everyone tried to interact with her.

But you went beyond, as you always did. You tried to make her feel like she was included in everything, you tried to befriend her and actually cared enough to invite her out and show her places.

And why? Why was she so stupid, about how she felt. About how you felt. Constantly turning down every opportunity presented at her.

It felt right and wrong to be jealous over you. Wrong, because you were doing the right thing, it's who you were. And it wouldn't be normal if you didn't do everything in your power to help someone else out.

But if felt absolutely right to feel overzealous, after all, you were quite the catch, and she wasn't doing much to prevent others from sweeping you off your feet.

And the regret hit her like a tsunami of emotions.

"We're here, Obi." you snapped her out of her thoughts. Unlocking the door.

"Uhm, see you tomorrow." she said getting out.

"Yep."

PAC: What's great about you and how can you boost your self-confidence?

Today I wanted to do a lighter Pick a Card tarot reading and focus on the topic of self-confidence and how you can boost or improve it.

What's great about you

The page of Wands adds the spark, the passion, the enthusiasm. It encourages you to be more optimistic and recognize your own power, and embrace your vision even further, allowing yourself to lean into it and really go along with it openly and with an adventurous spirit. This message is highlighted even further by the Sun, encouraging your to clear up your doubts and be more carefree. For those who resonate with the relationship part of the previous section, it is possible that a better union is on the horizon once you allowed yourself to be in a better and more fulfilled place mentally and emotionally, and for others, it's talking about a more harmonious relationship with yourself where you would be able to accept who you are and love yourself more.*

(*Note: that is not to say there will be no relationship at the same time, simply that the cards comment on the harmony with yourself being primordial here. It's not mutually exclusive.)

This pile is for those who have been intensively learning from their past and healed from it. There are three main messages here.

First, I see that you have learned to balance things between your rich inner world and your outer, more mundane life. I think you are highly intuitive and connected to your inner self, however, in the past, that may have made you overly detached from the world, and I see that you have made a lot of efforts to close that gap. I keep getting the word dissociation so perhaps that's relevant to some of you. Perhaps also you were described as overly mysterious or closed-off, and you worked a lot on yourself to be more open and actually connect with others authentically.

Secondly, I see that you went through a time of intense grief, which doesn't have to be about someone you lost (but could be) but can also be a general sense of loss or deep disappointment regarding something. For a long time, you stayed there licking your wounds and lamenting on the past, but then, you reached a point where you could not go on like that, some type of wake up call that made you move forward again.

Lastly, and tying the past two message together, you learned to let go of your catastrophizing or pessimistic mindset and are now more joyful, more optimistic, carefree even. I think you may have put that to the side a lot, perhaps because it wasn't a priority or perhaps because you didn't think you deserved it, but here you're being urged to see that it's actually an important part of your life too. There is some type of legacy that you are able to leave, because you have the skills and/or wisdom to pass it down, and that could lead to a lot of success on different levels for you.

You need to let go of this mindset that you are not good enough, that you are unfitting to the things you want to get or to do, and also let go of this mental box you put yourself in where you were focused on surviving instead of thriving.

The Transformers Fic Rec community!

With Tumblr rolling out its Community function in beta, I'm jumping in to experiment with whether it's a good platform for an old idea I had to run some kind of fic rec event/feed for Transformers. Because I miss when fic rec communities were a bigger thing in fandom!

What is it?

So first off, communities are a new Beta feature Tumblr is rolling out which allows members to post and reblog to semi-public, curated feeds here on Tumblr. (If you were around when Livejournal was a thing, or use Dreamwidth, it brings a little of the way comms work(ed) on those platforms over here.)

Posts made to the community are visible when you visit it, but don't go into the wider public search. You can comment on and react to posts, and members can reblog posts from elsewhere on Tumblr into the community. The idea is for this to be a dedicated little feed you can proactively check and post to when looking for fic recs and related discussion, somewhere between a forum and a blog feed! Slower and more public than a Discord server, but more curated and targeted than just throwing stuff out there. I also hope to start doing fic rec theme/challenge weeks on there at some point, if I can get things going!

The community will be 18+ only, due to it accepting mature and explicit fic recs. Users will need to have some kind of indication on their blog they are an adult to join. A set of basic guidelines is on the new community page as the pinned post for now and can be read before choosing to join if you like.

So how do I join?

At the moment, communities are invite-only while the beta testing continues. (They are currently working on letting admins use invite links to let people join, hopefully very soon.) This means that if you would like to request to join, you will need to send me an ask so I can add you. (Or comment on this post, or... you get the idea. You have to ask me.) In the future, you'll be able to request to join yourself. As mentioned above, this community is 18+, and blogs that do not verify you are eighteen or older will not be added. (Unless I know you, I guess? But otherwise: say you're old, please, lmao.)

The Strangeness

(Skip if you want to preserve the mystery.) BD's right eye is placed a little higher, and turned up as if tugged from the outer corner. I think it's part of that subtle something that immediately sets him apart. This unique, catlike, romantic asymmetry snatches your attention.

The glow

His striking, chameleonic blues capture light — even in B&W — which directors loooooove to exploit by lighting him obliquely:

It's a great way to crank up the eerie vibe of any scene, and I respect Star Trek for trashing that option outright with all-black contacts. (Of course, he still served an incredibly compelling outsider.)

(Edit: I put up a post just about this effect because they seriously do it all the damn time) (...because it's awesome)

Set in shadows

He has hooded eyes, deep-set and accentuated by heavy eye bags. The shadows and textures draw you in toward those luminescent irises, like picture frames that amplify each motion of his eyes.

Contrast

Sometimes he pops them wide open, creating these huge, expressive magnets...

...Or squints lopsidedly...

...Or interrogates, challenges, threatens — alert but defensive, like a prey animal on the edge of lashing out.

He’s said he chooses roles that "turn him on" (pretty clearly in an artistic sense); many of these blend menace and vulnerability, and our boy dumps emotion into every. single. line. This can manifest as an intense, wary, combative look, with eyes wide under neutral or furrowed brows:

Cry, baby

...And that's all before we mention the tears. He cries, of course, at will and liberally, and his eyes go red-rimmed and wet, highlighting them even more as he pins someone's soul to the wall with his gaze.

When he hovers right on the edge, they seem to shine in the dark.

Bared

At times, his fair eyelashes almost vanish, compounding his unusual look with a birdlike or reptilian tinge.

Obviously, the shaved brows in LOTR add to this effect.

A couple more things you'll notice here: he'll hold his eyes wide open for much longer than normal, drawing out these moments and making him seem even more alien.

Basic Magical Hero Terminology 🌙

Hi everyone! Welcome to Mahou Planet's first guide on our tumblr page!

Before I begin, I'd just like to give a couple of regards:

I forgot to clarify that this main account is almost exclusively ran by the owner of Mahou Planet, Georgia. Unless stated otherwise, Georgia is usually the one writing these posts. I just like talking in 3rd person since I want to sound a bit more professional yk?? (psst say hi to me in the comments im so cool)

Now that that's out of the way, let's jump into the guide!

✨️ TAKING IT SLOW

Wether you're a beginner magical hero who has no idea what they're getting into, or an advanced magical hero who has likely heard these terms in their sleep, magical hero terminology is important to know when you're in the magical hero community. Without understanding some basic terms, you'll have no idea what magical heroes on Wattpad, Discord, etc. are talking about when they post. Let's take things slow for this first post and go over some terminology!

🌙 TERMINOLOGY

Magical Hero (MH) -> A magical hero is.. well.. what you're becoming!

"BUT GEORGIA!!! WHY DO YOU USE MAGICAL HERO IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE MAGICAL GIRL!!!" You can use magical girl as well, a lot of people in the community use that term as an umbrella term. There are some people, however, who want to become a magical girl but do not identify as a girl. For instance, I may be afab, but I identify as genderfluid. I use both magical girl and magical hero, but that may not be the case for others!! Some may use magical boy, magical enby, etc. That doesn't make them any less of a magical hero!

Concept -> A basic explanation of a concept is the type of a magical hero you're becoming. Magical heroes can be from any show, franchise, even your own original concepts! Some of the common ones I see are Precure, Madoka Magica, and Sailor Moon, though personally I've seen a lot more original concepts rise through the community. Concepts can be as vague or as detailed as you want- I'll go more into detail about concepts wayyy later.

Familiar/Mascot -> Familiars, or mascots, are who give you the power to become a magical hero! They usually also represent your team and give you advice on how to succeed as a magical hero. Unlike what you see in typical magical hero shows, familiars don't always have to be animals. They can be humans, objects, etc. Sometimes, you can have a concept with no familiar!

Script -> A script is a collection of what you want as a magical hero. Scripting is the process of creating your script. This is usually done in a word processor, like Google Docs or Notion. You can add in pictures of your outfits/weapons, info about yourself, etc! I'll be sharing some of my self made scripting templates later on!

Subliminals -> Subliminals are subconsious messages over music or noise that go into your subconsious mind, helping you manifest desired results. Subliminals aren't just exclusive for becoming a magical hero. There are different subliminal topics, such as getting longer hair, changing your eye color, etc! Friendly reminder that subliminals are just a tool to help you manifest, and are not required for you to transform. What is required is.. you! Yes, you and your subconsious mind!

I will warn you, especially those new to the subliminal community: we do not condone the usage of problematic subliminals, such as race-changing (and the RCTA community), any underground subliminal, or subliminals glorifying trauma, abuse, etc. If you condone the usage of these subliminals, then leave this blog. You are not welcome here or in our Discord server. /srs

Manifesting -> Manifesting is the act of bringing something into this reality that you want. It's like a dream come true- say, you've manifested good grades, healthy hair, etc. There are several methods to manifest, but the most common one I've seen is manifesting with subliminals.

Affirmations -> Affirmations are positive statements that help reinforce your subconsious mind what you want to manifest. Things like "I will transform" and "I am a magical hero" are some! These are put into subliminals, but you can also create your own to make sigils, spells, etc.

Fantasy Shift Phase (F Shift) -> In fantasy shifting phase, you're planning out your aspects of your magical hero life, desired life, etc. This is where you create ideas for your magical hero concept. You can also create your subliminal playlist in this phase.

Mental Shift Phase (M Shift) -> In mental phase, you're changing your mental (and sometimes physical) state to think like a magical hero. This can be doing good deeds for others, watching magical hero shows, physically training, etc! You're preparing for your future as a magical hero. Acting as if and roleplaying are two common ways magical heroes mentally shift!

Phantom Shifting (Ph Shift) -> Phantom shifting is where you feel the sensation of being a magical hero, however, you haven't fully transformed yet. This can come in the form of feeling sensations of your outfit, weapons, etc while in civilian form. Some magical heroes don't count phantom shifting as its own phase since it's more of a term to describe sensations you feel.

Astral Shift Phase (A Shift) -> Astral shifting is where you see your magical hero form in the astral plane, either by phantom shifting or astral projecting. There's little information on how to astral shift, but don't let that discourage you!

Physical Shift Phase (P Shift) -> Also known as "full results", physical shifting is where you physically transform into a magical hero! You've completed a journey and are beginning another one! Congratulations <3

Fictional Other (F/O) -> Fictional others are signifigant others being manifested into this reality from a fictional source. They can be human, nonhuman, etc! I see a lot of magical heroes do this, so I thought it'd be nice to add (psst, to all those selfshippers out there manifesting f/o's, you are so valid and your partner loves you more than anything in this world <3)

It was 1995. ten years had come and gone since then. Things had calmed down. He had calmed down.

He found himself in the dreary west coast town of seattle, working on a boat catching fish for a somewhat sketchy payment. The grimey parts of which even grossed him out sometimes. He'd seen slimy creatures with rows of teeth from other dimensions and yet still some sea creatures made his skin crawl.

He was out of hawkins---he had lived through everything. He fought hard. And he made it. The monitors still rhythmically beeped in the back of his mind when he slept sometimes. The dull scars still riddled his abdomen, a not so subtle reminder of his close encounter with death. After everything he'd been through, eddie resorted to a quiet existence. Gone were the days of the loud, long haired boy with silver clad hands. The ripped jeans and homeade denim vest, covered in patches and pins were left behind. Soon replaced with cable knit sweaters and dickies, his beanie covering his shaved head.

He decided the quiet was easier, Though socialization was hard to come by when his work day ended when everyone else's began.

Making the early trek back home from the docks, he finds himself passing the little bakery on the corner. Usually he passes it and finds a 'we are closed' sign hanging on the door, but sometimes he catches glimpses of you setting up your quaint little shop for the day. Today, as he approaches the shop, the sign reads,

'we are open'

He peers in the window for a moment, advertisements for local bands, theater productions and bar crawls plastered over the glass. Soon his feet carry him inside, contrary to his brain, which was still deciding. As he enters the shop, the clash blares quietly from the back as he moves to the front, a second voice accompanying the song quietly.

"...Should I stay or should I go?

If you say that you are mine, I'll be here till the end of time"

Once upon a time the clash was his fourth favorite band, but after everything that he'd been through he found himself with music like elliott smith, and the smashing pumpkins. He cursed himself sometimes for listening to shit he used to call 'sad bastard crap', but he wasn't who he was in high school anymore, and it fit who he was now. Though now, he thought he might start listening to that stuff again. He was happier when he did anyway.

Standing awkwardly behind the cash register, he pulls his beanie off his head and brings a cold hand up to scratch his buzzed hair. His eyes wander the case, the freshly baked donuts and pastries sat carefully placed behind the glass, and when he looks back up, there you were.

In a metallica tour shirt. A warm smile on your face. "Hi." You coo, voice floating through the air. "I'm sorry if I kept you waiting, I opened early---I wasn't sure anyone would come in though" You add lightly, grateful he was your first customer of the day.

"that's alright" He says timidly. Soaking up your voice like morning sun.

He quietly requests a jelly filled donut. Just one he says. You happily get a peice of parchment paper and pick up the donut, carefully placing it in a bag.

"anything else?" You ask sweetly. His dark chocolate brown eyes meet yours as you set his donut on the counter in front of him, his still cold hands stuffed into the pockets of his carhartt jacket.

"that's ok." He says, slightly shaking his head no. He didnt want to be a bother and he was trying to not get caught up in your kind, warm smile that had his heart fluttering.

"you sure?" You questioned, "no coffee?"

"just the donut is ok. thank you, though" He says, politely declining and pulling out a couple of crumpled dollar bills to pay for the donut. You turn around and pour him a cup of coffee anyway. He looked tired. And it was cold outside.

You softly set the cup down next to his donut "on the house." You push the cup and bag toward him as he stares at it for a moment. His eyes sort-of wide. "really?" He questions, seemingly quite baffled by the gesture.

"you are my first customer of the day, after all" You say, shrugging.

He gives you a polite nod and makes his way toward the door, but not before turning around again to catch another glimpse. He pulled his beanie back on and sipped the coffee as he walked, holding the donut in his other hand. He found a park bench near his apartment and sat down, deciding he would eat the donut now.

he pulled the sweet treat out of the white paper bag, bringing it up to his mouth and taking a bite.

the sweet bread and jam melt in his mouth, causing him to fight a smile.

He makes the walk back to his apartment, and shuffles into the slightly grimey room, his boots squeaking on the floor. The smell of fish and salty air clung to his jacket as he hung it on the hook. He tried his best to make his dirt cheap apartment feel like a home. He decorated the walls with old band posters from his room in his uncles trailer, glimpses of what now seemed like a past life. He hung mugs just like his uncle did, to make it feel like home. Sometimes he missed the sense of home his uncles trailer gave him, but he did everything he could to remind himself of it. Although he didn't want to be back in hawkins, he didn't want to forget it either. He stripped off his work clothes to get ready for bed, finding himself daydreaming of the bakery owner he'd met today, who gave him the best donut he'd had in years.

When he left work the next morning, the donut shop was once again, open early. As he approaches the flyer covered windows, he finds himself, dare he say, nervous. He wondered if you made any new pastries today that he could try. His stomach twisted a little at the unfamiliar feeling, he hadn't felt like this about a person in a while, or ever, really. He carefully opened the door, eyes traveling the case of pastries as he walked in.

"Hey there, sailor" You greet as you walk out of the back kitchen, this time a metallica song plays faintly from your radio.

He smiles shyly at your greeting and gives you a small wave.

"What can I do for you?" You ask, turning around and putting on a pair of plastic gloves.

"What would you recommend?" He asks after a beat of silence.

Your face lights up with a warm smile, pleased that he asked your opinion. "I made beignets this morning" You say softly. "they're fresh"

He perks up a little at your words and nods slightly. "that sounds good" He says, a tight lipped but sincere smile on his face.

You nod politely and start to walk into the back and prepare him a little paper boat of them but then stop yourself.

"---do you want to come into the back?" You say, before you even realized what had come out of your mouth.

"--but I reek of sea animals?" He says, intrigued but slightly confused why you're inviting this smelly fisherman into your workspace.

"that's ok. come if you want." You shrug and leave the little swinging counter door open for him to enter if he chooses.

You walk into the kitchen, trays of donuts lining the metal counter tops, making your way toward a small plate of beignets. You pick up the confectioners sugar placed next to the plate and lightly dust a helping of it on top of the fried delicacies. Turning around you pick up a small paper tray and carefully place some of them inside.

"I like the music" You hear his voice say from across the table. "You can turn it up if you'd like. the radios right there" You say, a sweet smile on your face as you point over to the radio on your counter.

"Now some men like a fishin'

And some men like the fowlin'

And some men like to hear

To hear the cannonball roarin'

Me, I like sleepin'

'Specially in my Molly's chamber"

He doesn't turn the radio up. He likes that it's faintly playing, just enough to hear it if you really listen. "You a metallica fan?" You ask, looking up for a moment before lightly dusting the serving you'd prepared him.

You hand him the serving of beignets, giving him a small nod and then leaning against the counter behind you.

The conversation comes to a halt as he bites into one of the beignets you gave him. A sigh of, relief? pleasure? You couldn't quite place it escapes his chapped lips.

"I hope they're good. I've been workshopping the recipe for weeks" You speak, hopeful.

"They're more than good" He says, in the same deep and quiet voice.

"good" You nod, the ghost of a smile on your face.

"Uhm- do you mind me asking what brought you here? ---to seattle, i mean. it's quite a gloomy place for a 20--something--kid to move to---but I guess I'm one to talk" You talk quietly, worried you were talking too much to someone who didn't like that---he was very quiet--you couldn't tell.

Big brown eyes look up from the breakfast treat and at you, he swallows and thinks for a second.

"my hometown is---strange. I love it---but I had to get out of there. and here seemed like a good fresh start, I guess" He says, his voice gruff but kind.

"how long have you lived here?" You inquire, trying not to impose too much

"eight years"

"seven" you say, trying to find common ground "you should start coming in more often, I could use a familiar face" You had regulars at the bakery, but they were all simple hellos and goodbyes and small talk. This one seemed like it could be a friendship. Maybe you wanted more than that with this gruff and quiet fisherman who stumbled into your bakery, but you'll cross that bridge when you get there.

He stares for a moment, seemingly considering and running all the possible outcomes. "Yeah---Yeah."

You smile warmly at him from across the counter. He smiles sheepishly back.

He walks home in the cold and light rain that morning, thinking of ways he could talk to you. He didn't know alot, but he knew that you seemed like someone he'd like to keep around.

Goth DIY: Altered Clothing part 1

Since some of you crafty goths were interested in seeing the clothing I've altered, I decided to compile it all in one place! I hope I can inspire your creations,give you ideas, and teach you new techniques. This will be a long post, since I've been making alterations to my clothing since high school, which also means some of these projects aren't as polished as others, since they were made when I was newer to DIY and have mistakes I've since learned from, but that's okay! Goth doesn't have to be polished and perfect, and don't let the fear of mistakes stop you from creating!

I've already done posts about the shorts and pants I've gothified, so part 1 will focus on t-shirts, camisoles, and button-up shirts. Part 2 will have sweaters, skirts, and dresses. Some alterations are as easy as adding safety pins or lace trim, and others involve more sewing. Lots of these are very beginner-friendly projects and take less than an hour. All of these items were completely plain when I got them--anything metal, lace, embroidered, or painted that you see was added by me. I'll add more about each garment in the image descriptions. As always, feel free to message me if you want better or more thorough instructions or DIY advice. I'm here to be a resource to my fellow crafters! <3

(Also, please pardon the cat hair and my hair on the clothes--I don't take perfect pictures. A couple pics are also old since those shirts are in storage so I could make room for my winter wardrobe, so you'll notice a change in backdrop and a dirty mirror.)

Let's start with t-shirts and camisoles! Use an old shirt, a thrifted shirt, a shirt from Walmart, etc.! I like to get plain unisex t-shirts from Walmart and paint on them using freezer paper stencils, bleach them, shred them, and/or add safety pins to them. The camis also came from Walmart, and I changed the necklines and added lace trim to make them cuter.

To make a sweetheart neckline on a cami, you can cut it, or you can just pinch the middle and sew it into place (I did that for all of them except the black and white one--that one ended up a little lower-cut than I meant it to, so I decided to stick with the pinching method). The lace trim I used on the black camis isn't stretchy, but still works just fine, as long as you pin it into place while you're wearing the shirt and stretch the shirt a bit as you sew to maintain stretch in those areas. Stretchy lace, like I used on the pink and red camis, works a bit better, but is harder to find. I still like pinning the lace while I'm wearing the shirt to get the placement down, but if you wear a bra, make sure you're wearing the one you plan on wearing with the shirt while placing the lace. I found it doesn't sit right with bras that fit a little differently than the one I based the placement on.

The long-sleeved Emily the Strange shirt has a neat detail, albeit a wonky one because my placement is a bit off sometimes. You'll notice two little striped triangles at the bottom. I cut slits in the shirt and added triangles of striped stretchy fabric, then sewed zippers over top of them to hide the seams and add extra detail. I also sewed the zippers on with red thread for contrast.

My button-ups are a bit more involved. I treat them like how I treat shorts--patches, lace, embroidery, pins, grommet tape, D-rings, charms, chains, oh my! The pink one is my most recent, and I'm so proud of it. All of the patches came from ToothxNail on Etsy, except the Rat King patch, which came from Katiewhittleart on Etsy. The flowers on the collar were buttons that I glued onto flat-back pins from a craft store (I used E6000 glue). Made super quick collar pins that I can remove when washing the shirt or put on something else when I want.

The orange button-up was by far the simplest. I just added lace trim to the cuffs and cropped it (it had been high-low, but I wanted to wear it tucked into a skirt and the long back was annoying me). I also added collar clips with a chain that I got at a craft fair, but that's more like styling an accessory with it than altering it, since I can just un-clip them.

The leather jacket is old and doesn't fit well, so I don't wear it anymore, but I kept it because it was my first leather jacket. Adding the sew-on studs and faux-fur trim on the neck took the longest. You'll also notice that a mouse chewed a hole in the outer shell on the pocket.

He had encountered an epiphany (not really it's just the Springvale ppl talking about someone copying the creator's looks).

The 'Impostor' they have been searching is you.

But you're not an impostor! Razor knows it! Andrius knows it! And with how the nature and the monster responded to you, Teyvat knows it too!

So like the good son he is, he sheltered you even more severely.

Ur not allowed to go out of his sights at this point (he'll still take you to places with many lampgrasses if you still wanna make a crown w it)

And my imagination ends there, do you think there's something else he'd do?

Razor had been subtly steering u away from Mondstadt for 3 weeks now, ever since yall talked to the Springvale locals

Diluc had been looking around the lesser patroled areas of Mondstadt to search for the Architect

He didn't even need those incompetent knights to tell him their god had finally descended

He already saw the signs long before Mondstadt

Bc youve been in Wolvendom, the area has flourished over time, more fish in the water, more game to hunt and bigger, crows making circles in the sky despite there being no corpse

And one of the closest places to you,

Is the Dawn Winery.

Diluc's security against Venti began to hold up better, the staff didn't have to clean as much things like dirt or weather damage to the manor,

His hawk had never been faster delivering his letters, he almost thought the little guy had been drugged with something

He patroled Stormterror's Lair, and deep in the woods surrounding the manor that the knights hadn't bother to go into

Afterall, he figured you'd never had a mortal form before, so u were unlikely to fend for urself for very long in the woods lol

so he wanted to find u quick (aww softy :')

He even made a trip out to the Thousand Wind Temple and Dragonspine (he did report that one to the knights, he didn't want Amber, Bennett, or Creator-forbid Klee, being the few pyro users to have to explore it)

Finally, after doing the further away locations, siginificant in history and rich with leftover magic

Diluc figured that's where you might land first, so he saved Wolvendom for last

It would at least let him check on that wolf kid and maybe get to talk to him long enough to ask him if he's seen anything unusual.

The lord of Dawn Winery manor heads into the Wolvendom woods, just as sunset colors the trees...

It was a Friday evening, the sun was setting, the weather was pleasant and it was time for all of the Lupical to come together and eat a big feast!! :)

About once a month, Andrius will come out for a few nights and dine with all of yall

Hes an old wolf give him a break, he takes long naps

So u cook lots of Mondstadt favorites to eat on and a few Liyue dishes too

Razor, ur favorite helper, has helped u finish the last dish and is now romping around with the puppies bless <3

U guys have dragged ur coffee table dining table setup out to sit and eat at

Andrius lets out a not too loud, not too quiet howl, and as the wolves, Razor and you lmao join in

Yall dig in, bones flying everywhere, spagetti noodles flingling around, it would put toddlers to shame lol

Diluc hears a howl that is too... big to be a regular wolf.

It filled the air of Wolvendom like no howl before it, as he used the glowing lampgrass to help light the path deeper

He sneaks past a hilichurl camp or two, all fast asleep

He scans the woods, and figures he'll search the woods besides the path after he gets to that old stone carved pit-

Food?

Diluc sniffs the air, and squints deeper into the forest

The black branches shade the way ahead, but just barely... he can see the flicker of orange and blue light?

He summons his claymore, bracing it on his shoulder, and creeps into the treeline to better hide him

You swear to god (dammit swear to.. you??) someone is watching you.

You look around the piles of fluffy doggos, happy and stuffed full they r slowly forming puppy piles

Andrius is finishing his meat platter, also sitting on all four legs on the ground

Razor is splayed on his back beside you, eyes closed, his feet sticking out the other side of the table, u chuckle at him

But not a single Lupical seems to be looking at you.

Gulping down your last few bites, you scan the treeline

U refuse to be that bitch in a horror movie where their gut says smth is off and they brush it off or barely look at their surroundings

Turning around to the treeline behind you, u see something... red fur?

U sit up some more, peering over the bushes at the bottom of the trees

You meet a pair of warm brown eyes, widened like they're just as shocked to see you

As u notice his familiar red high ponytail (but also not?? Its weird going from 2D to 3D and still recognizing bitches)

U peer down at his chest, as he carefully stands out of the foliage-

That familiar star shaped button that u can press for the character menu screen, the same thats on Razor, on Benny, on Fischl, on Lisa-

Hovers over Diluc's chest.

Diluc is in the bush, observing the human(???) stranger (he really doesnt want to attract the attention of that.. giant spirit wolf thing)

The figure sitting at a ... table?? (He can barely process all these absurdities at once, hes only got so much brain space)

Has sensed his presence, and as he grips his claymore, ready to demand answers,

Razor startles, and jumps up, smelling the pyro user, he summons his weapon-

The figure locks eyes with him, and all he sees is gold.

Diluc drops his claymore.

Lana (Dress to impress) Theories I put together

(I pinned this bc I might add more. And correct myself)

So I have translated some of the words in Lana's group and Öga role means eyes. Evighet means eternity. And Kråka means arm. This might be the limbs/parts lana has taken. For the eternity part I don't know.

In the other lana group called plague there is a user ibogenschutze and it says that he took their heart out while it was beating. Who is he? But it's weird that they are only a patron on the main group. Maybe Lana's sacrifice.

on the plague group The Role Fjärii (the owner role) means Butterfly. I have no idea what that has to do with the lore lol

Now with the people in the Evighet role there is: snowyxmistyy, Vinny, BAZINGAA, Rose, autumn, and blu3.

Snowyxmistyy's profile has nothing. Vinny's profile basically says he is trying to find out about Lana and why she executed him and the others. BAZINGAA's profile just says to join roses group, roses profile says join her group, autumns profile just says bababa and Blu3 says she has officially died in the Lana lore.

Now I don't know why they are in the eternity rule (evighet) but probably they are stuck in Lana's world. They will probably get more lore soon (probably not idk)

Öga role (means eye) are verified people. Owen, callmehhaley, Gigi, Twoket9. Nothing special about this role but I think they might be important in the future. Like since Lana has an eye patch she might take their eyes? Idk.

Btw the reason why I'm not covering the horizon role rn is bc I would have to go through 333 people. I will probably update this post and add it in the future.

The traitor role are the people who "betrayed" lana/called her out on what she has done. Nelly, Micheal, Rafael, sunny, and Nathan. If you want to know more watch Lana lore or the questionare videos where they got executed or smth

rankers are just the people who rank? Nothing special right now atm.

for the missing people Alexei is new (I think??) His profile is just asking what happened while he was gone. I think he will be important. My guess is that he really isn't missing or dead and that he just lost his memory and came back? There is Jisoo. Her profile is saying the world is crumbling around her and she says she's in a nightmare. Jayla says she trusted Lana but then she got sacrificed. By the way all the missing people except Alexei have the same outfit and remember when I mentioned ibogenschutze? Yeah they have the same outfit two. Probably a friend of theirs. Nicholas has some code you need a translator for. Uhh idk what translator you need :( but it's just like Sadie's. And I think it's new? Next is Sadie. Apparently in one of the questionnaire things she came back and talked about her. Then her tombstone is gone and I think is near lanas house? Yeah so not really anything new except for Alexei and the Nicholas about me thing. And Sadie's profile was uncoded. Check a Lana lore video and you'll see what it says.

next the herd. This is what I love the most bc I have some theories >:] so they are all Lana's disciples like they worship Lana and will do anything. Uhh yeah I'm not totally sure on that but let's check the profiles!!! Apart of the herd there used to be Nelly and rafael but they are now traitors. Anyways. Kayden. Dating jasmine and he's probably saying Lana is a dictator. Not jasmine? Maybe jasmine idk. Audrey's makes no sense. Uhh but saying it's not preppy in there makes sense because she doesn't like it? Idk she'll be important in the future I think. Then jasmine. Her profile says "Of course, people change, however, sometimes you're forced to resent such changes... and you know who I mean...I'll let it go for now. I'll stay." She thinks Lana is changing and she thinks that Lana will babe to resent the changes. But jasmine will stay and let go of it. She'll definitely be important. Oh it also says she loves kayden. So they deff dating.

Next kråka.which means arm. It's dierben. In the Lana lore video they say something about them I don't remember I'll update it once I watch it again. Diarben is the lead dti dev but they're a big part of the story.

Next. Agamemnon.i don't know anything about them yet but they'll be important I think. They are the owner of the plague thing. My theory is: is that Agamemnon made this plague to control Lana and it is changing her and he has big plans.

Phew and finally duva. Lana. Duva means should. I dunno what that means but yup the plague owner role meaning butterfly also doesn't make sense.

✨ this part I'm not sure on ✨ so Lana is on vacation right? Maybe it's the evil lana. Because on the Lana theory group (THIS MIGHT BE FAKE) Lana joined a server and gave everyone vip. Maybe it's the actual Lana trying to be nice while the evil Lana is on vacation.

Also I feel like something bad will happen on vacation like someone from the herd will be gone or go missing.

Okay now onto the plague group <3 the shout says "I promise I haven't forgotten about you all" I think this means she'll do something to us. She wants to give revenge on people who have her the plague? My other theory Is that she made a plague to take down the people she is wanting revenge one. One of the two now let's go into the roles!

Btw the other group saudade means longing maybe that has something to do with the eternity role. Idk

so first there's the cocoon role. Maybe this is like s figure of speech like the owner role being butterfly. When we go through the portal we will be at the final stage. Or maybe we arent ready yet.

The Herd. Basically the same except. Remember Alatheia? (ibogenschutze) they are in there. This is not an accident (I think) the about me says "HE RIPPED ME APART WHILE MY HEART WAS STILL BEATING" I think after lanas vacation we will find out who "he" is. League is the missing people. Possibly the couple of people they tested the plague on? Or they are the people who started the plague and then got hurt by it. Oh and by the way I think jisoo's bio means that when she opened Lana's third eye she See's nothing but darkness? Idk. Anyways to the users. Nicholas is Applebitten2. Which is like he bit into an apple. Which connects with jasmines. Like shes still an apple in the forest and Nicholas bit into the Apple and found out what happened. And his following is just lana. So another disciple? Now jisoo it's Mickeyiee I put it in the translator but it showed up with nothing. So kinda like audreys not important. Next Jayla is whisperingat now she might be whispering to people for help? (Btw jisoo and Jayla are not following anybody) Sadie is ihaveflowered. Maybe since she went missing and spoke out she is a new person. Not much about that since there's not much information. She is also following lana.

The next role is apple. Which is just lana.

Last role. Fjäril means butterfly. Possibly the last stage.

Also I went into the questionnaire game and there is a note that says "I'll be back to avenge you. Blessing from Agamemnon" I think this is the lana that they both killed. And I said before Agamemnon will be important. I think he is going to try and Resurrect evil lana? Idk.

I will be going through all the games to see if there's anything new. The only new thing about the questionnaire is the note and that sadies tombstone is ggone

Ok so I just went to the fortress. Jasmine is Obsessed with being always in Lana's eyes. She IS a disciple. A worshipper even. She has notes on a board that say "Micheal. Reason: has a disliking of me. And is a threat to me... Taking away attention from me from Lana's eyes." Next "Sunny. Reason: I just don't like her. I think the coterie will benefit from her being gone" finally "Rafael. Reason: I have suspicion of him betraying lana, spreading rumors that muddle Lana's reputation." The other notes (her diary and the note on jasmines bed) are to hard to read so I'm watching a video about it.

I found out that lana is not actually dead. Nelly's old bio was saying she thought lana died. But now she's somewhere else. Her new bio says "I don't want to be here anymore... I should have just never done what I did.." I think she is referring to that she's in the symphony of nox? Because the people who wronged the awakening in there. I think nice lana is in there? It's not wringing the awakening but lana could've put them in there. While watching callmehhaley's video I see that one of the badges says that the person is the sheep following the butterfly. And on the plague group Agamemnon is the butterfly. I think Agamemnon is the mastermind unless this is another distraction.

Ok so sunny got wrongfully executed and so did Micheal. It's all because of jasmine. She had the board and that means jasmine is behind all of it.

With the portal. Lana killed all of the four people to activate the portal. To avenge the person (lover? Idk) but it didn't work. She tried sacrificing more to activate it again but they ended up killing her so I think she was the key to the portal and it opened.

So Agamemnon's room (theone with the note saying he'll kill lana when he's done. It says the devs eyes will be in good use. Well I know Gigi and Haley aren't devs but they are under the role that's translates to eye. Agamemnon is going to use their eyes

Ok so now I know who alexei is. He was like a herd member but didn't talk much? So now the monster killed him. Also I might not update this for a while lol if u wanna know more look at callmehhaley's vids <3

Hi!!!! Welcome to a really cool Fake Rayman (Captain Laserhawk) rp blog based mostly just on headcanons lol. I believe I'm the first person to make a solely CLH-based RP blog

I am a casual roleplayer so apologies if we get into a RP and it seems like I'm not taking it seriously. Over the years it just feels awkward for me to write seriously sometimes.

General World Info:

In the beginning, it takes place a few months after the events of Octo Expansion. Currently (as of 8/8/24) it has been a little less than a year

Spawn points don't exist outside of Turf Wars/Ranked battles, etc.

Octavio has been captured and currently resides in a high security prison. He is never getting out.

Octavio had used sanitization and hypnosis as a tool for control and punishment during his reign. He never had any intention on liberating his citizens.

There is only one hospital on the surface that handles Sanitization cases atm. This is due to it being rarely seen on the surface during octavios time, so not many people were researching it.

Squidjumping within city limits is illegal unless if it's an emergency

Instead of sewers, there are tunnels connecting the surface and the underground.

NSS:

Their current goal is to find out where all of the sanitization infections are coming from, helping to acclimate octolings to the surface, and helping to establish a working government/system to the citizens below the surface who are too afraid to leave (works alongside other agencies) Sometimes, they help around the community as well.

To their knowledge, there are no more hypnotized octolings.

Although small, NSS is a publicly known and important government organization

Captain Cuttlefish is deceased, NSS is run by Marie and Callie currently, although marie takes on a bigger chunk of the responsibilities.

There's a temporary housing area set up for octolings new to the surface not far from the clinic. They stay there until homes are found for them, which usually takes just a couple of weeks. They work with social services to help them beyond that as well.

Marina and Pearl are agents 6 and 7, however their role is much smaller and mainly help on the side of helping misplaced citizens find homes.

There is a single clinic near octo canyon as of this point that the NSS helped to establish with Inkopolis Memorial (due to a large chunk of sanitizations being found in that area) It's fairly small and typically only has one person working at a time, usually Agent 5 or another doctor from one of the local hospitals.

Inkling/Octoling Stuff:

They take more after the human side

They bleed actual blood instead of ink

They have claws that they can use for defense - ink will fill the tip of the claws.

Everybody has a limiter, which is a chip installed in their arm. Without this, they could use up too much ink when battling and possibly die due to their bodies not being able to keep up with production. When low on ink, their tentacles will become extremely dull and lose almost all color. They'll become extremely weak and lethargic until their hearts finally stop.

They have more flexible bones, but they can still break

They have 3 hearts

Inklings and Octolings gain their squid/octo form around puberty - they are in human form up until then.

Development of a person's squid/octo form can be stunted during puberty if they have health issues

They are able to swim in any water

It expends energy to change from an ink color that's not the natural one so typically they will dye their ink if they want it changed for longer

Ink burns are rare but can happen. It's caused by consistent exposure to enemy ink in a single area or an extremely strong shot. They can be painful, but they will heal and fade over time - they turn blue in color despite the color of the enemy ink.

When a cephalopod feels intense feelings of romantic love for another, their ink color will subconsciously change to match their partner's. They don't technically need to be together for this to happen.

They cannot fall asleep while in squid/octo form; if they do, they will change back automatically.

They have to use special shears to cut their tentacles or else it would be painful and cause possible damage.

Octolings only have some control over their tentacles, and usually, their tentacles can give hints to their mood. Typically, the older they get, the more control they have, but this isn't always the case. The amount of control changes depending on the person.

Inklings and octolings reach full maturity in their 20s-30s. This is where they develop a secondary color at the tip of their tentacles, and octolings will also have their fingers matching their ink color. Typically, octolings reach this earlier than inklings, but everyone is different.

They can get grey/white ink streaks due to age or extreme stress or anxiety
