Well I like it but it’s not very well written. Also it’s a visual mess. The plot doesnt make any sense and the creators suck and its politics oscillate from mildly problematic to frankly baffling. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. However. the character

You actually do need noble lineage to rightfully rule, but since lineage doesn’t dilute, and given the historic sexual tendencies of people in power wrt their servants, eventually noble lineage spread wide enough that everyone had it and that’s why democracy happened.

Another reason I think Azriel’s story is next… SJM says after reading the bonus chapters she thinks it’s pretty obvious whose story is next. She specifically mentions the bonus chapter. If she didn’t, I would’ve thought it’d be Elain who’s story would be told next because of course Elain is without a doubt getting a book. But one bonus chapter had a heavy focus on Azriel and the other bonus chapter, while it mentions Elain, is marketed as a Feysand bonus chapter. And the mention of Elain in the BC is essentially to promise Elain’s story will be told but at a later time. That’s why Rhys says let’s focus on one sister at a time. And the ending of ACOSF + the HOFAS and this BC only further confirm Nesta’s story arc isn’t entirely complete, and the only POVs it would make most sense for it to be completed is from Gwyn & Az’s POVs since they are closest to her.
