He’s not much of a follower himself, but as a student of Night Raven College, even he has to admit that not everyone can be veritable leaders. As your relationship grows, he’ll slowly realize that he’ll follow you most everywhere. If you do fail in the future, whether it be on a school project or serious matters, know that he’ll always have your back. 

Sometimes, Ace will make fun of you for being such a teacher’s pet, but it’s all in great fun. It’s not like the teasing from before, this time he wants to make you laugh. 

Speaking of which, if you sass him back during arguments or if he says something mildly offensive, he will be the one laughing. He’s still not sure if it’s because your quick wit is surprising or if he truly adores how you make him feel, but he can’t deny that the mirth he expresses is genuine. On the other hand, sometimes it’s not your quick wit and humor that makes Ace laugh. Add the whiplash he can get from listening to you talk to your closest friends and then doing a heel-face turn to an upperclassman or a professor, and it’s a recipe for disaster for Ace. Try as he might, his attempt at playing the cool, unaffected freshman is no more. He will utterly break down into inconsolable giggles and it’s going to be all your fault.

(Is this the point where Ace realizes that he’s fallen for you? Possibly. But like how most things go with Night Raven College students, he’ll never admit it). 

Eventually, though, when one of you confesses (it’s not Ace, it’s not gonna be Ace, but if you go first, he will tease you for it while blushing and stuttering on the inside), he’ll make sure that the dates the both of you on are amazing and memorable! Go take him out to enjoy the great outdoors! He’s more of a city boy at heart, but he’ll appreciate you teaching him the ropes for how to survive in the wild—it’ll come in handy during certain school events. However, sometimes, Ace will host dates with you that are easygoing and soft. Sometimes, you’ll hang out at a cafe where you can enjoy good food and drinks while laughing over stupid videos that you watch on your phones. Other times, you'll spend rainy days inside snuggled on the couch together.

Hey mom! It's been a while but I just wanted to get this off my chest b3cause school drama sucks.

Basically I'm going to NYC for a competition but here's the thing, the last time we went on competition trip there were so many messes the teacher had to get involved bc it was THAT bad. And the thing is that I can already feel that something bads gonna happen between me and a girl I'll call, L. She basically went behind a very good friend (ill call em IG) of mine's back and sent their convo to their ex (L was friends with both IG and their ex) and then L also has an odd sense of humor that isn't really funny most of the time. AND THEN another girl from my group just told my good ass friend (call em A) that they "didn't want to work and that it all sounded too hard 🥺" LIKE GIRL YOU LITERALLY PAYED $1,400 DOLLARS FOR THIS TRIP AND NOW YOU DON'T WANNA WORK???!! BSFFR

AND IT GETS WORSE! I also JUST found out that my ex is:

1. on the school watch list for potential school 🔫er.

2. Spread PRIVATE information about TWO of his friends to other people and then proceeded to still call em his close friends, like what????

3. is a pathological liar

4. brought weapons to school

The things I hear about teens, the internet and just in life makes me feel like my teen years were a cake walk. for the longest time whenever i would go up to my mom with concerns about people before i meet them she'd be like "oh don't worry she's a woman she'll be okay" and in my head I'll try to make myself believe it but i never really identified with that notion that women are better with children than men?

also i was pulled out of public school in the 3rd grade and for the longest time my only interactions with people in the meatspace were when my grandma would take me to her moose lodge chapter (basically a country club for poor people tbh, though my immediate family was never working class) and i made some friends there. i only hung out with the boys and my mom flipped the hell out when she found out I'd befriended a 17 y/o boy at 13 (my grandma put a stop to this when she said the 17 y/o was also autistic and was really good with people younger than him)

that makes a lot of sense really, i dont really know why the expectation of women being better with children is so prevalent when so many women actively voice that they just do not like children, but thats sexism to you ig!

im bisexual but like. sometimes im way more wary of women, or especially teenage girls even as an adult. i was never hurt by the boys as much as the girls- thats probably because a lot of afab people are conditioned to believe that they have to prove themselves as 'better' than the others around them in order to be respected, and its often a subconscious bias that they dont realize is happening.

ive been pretty isolated my whole life, but the few female friends i had growing up saw me as inferior to them, thus an acceptable friend to have as they could be assured i wouldnt be taking attention from them. it was never intentional i dont think, but every time i got bullied it was the girls who always just turned away, or worse, joined in. they often even looked guilty for it, so i never really blamed them for it all. if anything, it meant that i was a threat to the people who DID bully me.

i think sometimes, when girls see you as a threat, they give you MORE attention, often negative, because the goal is to be seen as The Most among their peers. giving someone like me negative attention encourages other girls to do it as it can often give them positive attention from each other. its kinda like antis but less direct targeting and more a collective social norm being perpetuated.

meanwhile, amab people and men are often conditioned to just not fucking care, in both a negative and positive way. boys will be boys, but for some of them the not caring applies to who you hang out with and just accepting certain people without really thinking about it.

you can end up with a really shitty friend group because you just think that youre all just being boys, and other times it means you make friends with the bullied kids easier because they arent focused on the same things- guys dont always care whether youre pretty, whether youre The Best in class, and they dont always care about what you can do for them.

its easier to make friends because its all typically surface level, they dont really like digging into the emotional depth and while thats also a problem, it makes it way easier for ostricized girls to make friends like with the kid you made friends with. i mean he was autistic, too, he was probably equally as ostricized.

all this is to say that you being adverse to women is understandable given both your treatment from those teachers and the idea that women are always safe with other women, when a lot of them are basically conditioned to be cruel to each other to maintain autonomy of some sort.

feel like thats why a lot of people who are ND and traumatized identify as trans, they literally do not feel like they belong with their assigned gender because of the expectations that come with it.

Yeah i dealt with one asshole today, don't worry we got it under control. And, quite fittingly, it's quite similar to your situation. Thought that guy was okay at first, then slowly started to show his true colors.

First of all. FUCK that guy. He fucking SUCKS. I know what it's like to have classmates who think theyre funny and prank and troll but actually they're pathetic excuses who want nothing but attention and I would shove them out the window.

Okay... I got that out of my system. Second of all, have you told anyone else about this guy's shenanigans? Like anyone else in class? Maybe even a teacher. Actually, most especially a teacher. These are stupid pranks that could affect your grade, so a teacher should know. You don't have to point blame, just inform your teacher of what he's been doing. Maybe get the foreigner groupmate you had to back you up and confirm.

i wanna tell at least one of the class officers abt it bc they're the ones who handle most of the segregation of the class during group PETAs. most likely the Class President bc she's very cool.

methinks i'll only tell the adviser if he fucks up in a third PETA group bc i wanna see if he pisses off someone else (or maybe even multiple ppl) along the way

plus, i'm the leader of my group in both the PracRes and GenChem groups, so i could just give him a low score in evaluation or even omit his name from the group listing completely!
