It was unfortunately not very often that you were able to enjoy moments of peace in your life nowadays, and two months ago you’d never have dreamed you’d find one at nearly one in the morning in bed with Suna Rintaro. However, your life hadn’t made much sense for a while now. 

Since the moment you’d led him through the door to your two-bedroom apartment it was like nothing and no-one else existed, and it was incredibly relieving. His smile, his movements, they were exactly what you needed. Now, as the weight of his arm rested on your stomach while your fingertips ghosted over his skin and he lay slumped and bare-chested scrolling through his phone beside you, the relaxation finally began to sink in. You traced lines up his forearm, sensing the slow rhythm of his pulse, before circling his palm and repeating the process. He was surprisingly warm.

A soft grunt and nudge from Suna broke your thoughts. Before you’d barely had a chance to lift your head, a sudden bright light burned into your eyeballs as a phone was shoved five inches from your face. Well, relaxation ruined. Several curses later, you actually looked at what he was showing you, suppressed a snort, and promptly shoved him off and slipped out of bed.

“Alright, I’m freshening up, and you better be gone when I get back,” you demanded with a huff, stretching your admittedly tense muscles with your back to him. 

“Aw, you’re no fun,” he sighed, and you could almost see his pout. 

“Mmm, whatever.”

“You were gonna smile, admit it.” You looked back at him, then immediately realized it was a mistake. That lazy but unmistakable smirk sent your heart on yet another flurry that night. It was all you could do to bite your lip and shake your head to keep from breaking into a laugh. 

“Yeah, you’re hilarious.” With a quick finger thrown his way you practically fled into the bathroom before your face truly caught fire. Damn that prick. 

While going through your nightly routine you wondered briefly what it was about the boy that made him so easy to talk to, so alluring, so tempting. Maybe the eyes, or his subdued breathy laughs? Or that stupid rare smile of his. 

Water splashed over your face in an attempt to clear your head.

Ugh, since when did you spend so much time thinking about a boy like an obsessed schoolgirl?

When you finally returned to your room a few minutes later, Suna had in fact not left, but instead slumped over and knocked out. You could tell by the way his phone still rested in his hand that this sudden nap likely wasn’t planned, but you still found it impressive how quickly he’d fallen asleep in such a short stint of time. 

Impressive or not though, he still had to go before your roommate got back. As you prepped a pillow in hand to chuck at his head, you hesitated at the sight of him, cheek squished against the pillow. The words “alluring” and “tempting” came back to mind. Yeah sure. Despite yourself, you couldn’t stop the smile pulling at your lips, but took a photo as revenge before finally disturbing his peace with a pillow whack to the shoulder.

“Oi, what the helph.” In an attempt to escape your onslaught Suna buried his face deeper into your pillow, muffling the rest of his protests.

“You can’t sleep here dumbass-” you smacked him again “--and stop drooling on my pillow!” 

“Sheesh, fine, I’m going,” he drawled out with a yawn. Slowly, very slowly, but surely, he made his way out. He paused at your door, calling back, “See you again?”

You rolled your eyes. “Yeah, okay.” There was a smile there too.

does semi care abt looks, i reade the ideal type thing, and girlll i ugly eyes, i wish they were blue, and i have the voice of a seventh grader byee 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ anyway hope your doing well!!

OH I only included that bc I think to some degree everyone has physical traits they focus on (like for me it's eyes, smile, height, etc), which is why I said notice not prefer. Also!! I meant the eyes and voice part as a general thing, like striking doesn't have to mean light colored. You ever meet someone where you're like "ok" then you make eye contact and it's like WHOA bc their gaze is just that captivating or is that just me. For Semi it's like that but also, the amount of eye contact, if they stare into space with a focused look, or how they light up when that person talks about something they love. and for voices it's the same thing! he's all about uniqueness, and how soft spoken or confident/loud or if they interject awkward spaces with nervous giggles (he finds that endearing). You don't need like, corpse husband insaneness yk?

At the end of the day, none of that is make or break, ever, for any character tbh. bc if all you're focused on is looks, that's infatuation not affection my loves <3

okokok idk how many still keep up with this blog rn not that there's been much to keep up with lately ahaha but once school/finals started up I became insanely busy and felt really drained during free time so I didn't write! however my finals are over next week and ive been writing some stories in my head id like to give a shot at read tags for info. as for the projects I promised were coming, ive decided I probably won't do one of them since it was a seasonal thing. maybe maybe not idk! sorry for going mia out of nowhere hopefully I'll be back sooooon 💙💙💙

Hey love! I figured you weren't leaving but I'm really happy you're doing better!! As for the writing thing..aha..so I will say a major part is just being busy! I just finished midterms which is why I haven't been online much at all this week. Part of it is from before, but a major part is also that I have ideas but no real plot or storyline to tie it together with. I'm actually working on 2 things right now, one of which ive been planning for a while and has a little work done but it's pretty niche so idk how many people will like it. Hopefully within the next week I'll post something for one of the projects! If any moots wanna hmu to brainstorm plot stuff I'd be forever grateful bc my brain is broken and incapable recently with that but I have neat ideas

ALSO AHHH IDK IF I'M LATE but good luck at your recording session!
