guys I start school soon (yay!!) but I'll be taking classes on top of my 45+hr work week (nayy). and at first I was sad bc like, less f/o time

but now I'm imagining all the little things Jasper's gonna do with her time while I'm off getting School and Work Things Done. she's going to spar with Steven and Amethyst. maybe Connie will introduce some of her reading to her - turns out Jasper likes those strangely in-depth romantasy novels.

She'll hang out with Pearl and Greg as Pearl continues her bass lessons, shuffling through Greg's records and pulling out the next piece for Pearl to try. Garnet's trying to get her into meditation because of my fondness for meditating and spiritualism, but Jasper's reaaally struggling staying still.

but she'll keep doing it bc she'll think of one day being still enough to meditate with me :) and as I'm off learning my things, she's slowly learning who she is as a person :) my fav kind of love is the love where my person finds themself

I gotta say, one of the greatest achievements of my 20s was that I learned (mostly) to differentiate between:

"I truly do not want to go" and

"I'm just feeling the Demand Avoidance, and I will like it once I get there."

The problems you argue about get bigger and more serious.#You still hold so much love for this person despite how much you want to throw hands with them.#To have such a complicated history with someone and then fall apart...You always think you have time to heal the wound.#Why wouldn't you! You've never had anything but time with this person. A brother not in blood but in true and genuine bond.#And then the fucker dies! It's horrible and sudden and the last words you exchanged were cold and awful!#What do you do with those dead end feelings? What do you do but grieve bitterly and angrily?#There is no resolution for all the love you wanted back. There will never be an opportunity to bridge the gap between you.#Someone you loved died thinking you hated them. Mama Bat

There was a baby in the Batcave.

There was a glowing, white haired, Lazarus green eyed baby floating in the freaking Batcave!

A baby that was currently wearing a superhero themed footy pajamas and making tiny circles in the air as they coo and make spit bubbles.

A baby Cass had found while on patrol... in Hong Kong before suddenly and somehow appearing in Gotham. In the Batcave.

Along with them, sitting innocently on the batcomputer chair was a baby bag (themed after Black Bat somehow) full of everything a baby needed a glowing green sticky note with purple handwriting on it.
