Please @/starwars Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2, this time with Ewan McGregor and Temuera Morrison as co-stars. There's closure now with Obi-Wan & Vader. Next, closure between the Jedi & the clones on Order 66, represented by the 2 we saw experience it first: Obi-Wan and Commander Cody

I know in the latest Obi-Wan comic, Obi-Wan basically goes "I miss Cody to this day, even though he tried to kill me. Ah well." And it just K*LLS me that that's it. Obi-Wan (and most the Jedi) have no clue that the clones were victims too.

Y'all are inserting Order 66 scenes in almost every show, so you can do it one more time, this time in an attempt to understand and gain closure. And this is a story that is genuinely best told through Obi-Wan and Cody. Palpatine sent the Order to Cody, first and most directly.

This is a story that doesn't need to mess with characters like Luke or Leia, who we know we'll see again. Cody is MIA as of TBB S2. Obi-Wan now also has some time after season 1, where we know he can't really be messing with Vader. This story can fit in well.

(heck, you can even insert more Clone Wars flashbacks, including young Ahsoka, you saw how much we all loved that in the Ahsoka show!) This show would let you share more about other clones and Jedi as well. Depending on how TBB S3 ends, we can have some connections there too.

PLUS! Temuera Morrison seems eager for a role. I'd love to see him again as Boba in TBOBF S2 (and have a whole 'nother pitch there), but Cody is a character that Tem personally originated in ROTS. He also had fantastic chemistry with Ewan as Jango!

So I'd love to see them share a screen again. (plus, age-wise, he's kinda closer to double-speed aged Cody than Boba?)

i don't see us getting further information about bucktommy's relationship in 7x10 (like calling each other boyfriends or haphazardly breaking up) simply because i don't think they know what they want to do in season 8 yet. they tested the waters with tommy's first four episodes and brought him back for the last two episodes to establish his presence a bit more but why would they write themselves into a corner with no farsight yet when they could instead leave it at this ambiguously good place which gives them more creative room for s8?

this way they could direct that storyline any way they want depending on what they wanna explore with it - maybe they'll wanna pick it up from the dating stage or it could be that they're established boyfriends once they come back. they could go with tommy being buck's big love or that despite buck wanting to exploring this with tommy it not working out etc. i think they have a lot of more things to consider with buck's romantic arc now, not to mention for how much and how long lou can commit to the show, that they'll want to take their time figuring that all out.

I'm just still stuck on thinking about Sukuna being HELLA ancient and that really only coming through in his ... sexual preferences, and by extension... his preferences for the body, right? Which ik we're thinking is his liking for the body as it comes naturally, naked and untouched and etc...

SO, it makes perfect sense that he loves a nicely done-up foot because ... even if you're wearing clothes, a healthy looking, decorated foot is one way to show off the quality of your body without sacrificing much of your integrity, or the appearance of that specific body part... for EXAMPLE:

You can be wearing whatever kind of clothing you want, but with a beautiful mani-pedi and nice shoes, people look at you and KNOW you take care of your skin !!!

And for Sukuna, that's literally... nut-worthy automatically. That his woman is so cared for she, not only has hands, but FEET too, that instead of showing the affects of hard work on them... are pampered beyond belief and always look delicious.

Even if you do use your hands for work, or have hands that show that kind of hard work on them, the second Sukuna attaches himself to you, that's one of the first things he demands you fix (by paying for your spa appointments, of course)... and ain't no way in hell he's taking no for an answer.

(I don't even think it's something he cares about until he realizes he can care about it. He's just chilling, living his best, king-of-curses life... and then one day he notices you putting lotion on your heels before bed and the next time your legs are in the air, he's pressing your feet to his face. When he finally gets into the groove, tho (or in an automatic, non-curse AU), Sukuna is definitely picky about what kinds of designs and colors you get during mani-pedis. It's so weird of him because he's a full on evil CURSE, but I know he's walking into that salon right along with you and not just watching your toes get scrubbed and painting, but helping you pick out the colors and diamonds too....

He scrutinizes your poor nail tech sooo hard, one of those guys who takes off from the tip immediately if they accidentally nick you with the clippers, or file something a little too roughly. His inspection face is so funny, because even though he's supposed to be there spending time with YOU, his eyes are on your tootsies the whole time (like a freak).

You can convince him to let you get fun colors (and tbh, you ARE the one who put him onto including crystals or doing frenchies in the first place), but I know he's a such a particular man when it comes to making sure your nail colors are ALWAYS elegant. Loves a classic nude or pink, sometimes lets you experiments with white or a couple crystals... but the whole point is that he never has to see your feet covered again, only ever decorated and in strappy-heels for the rest of TIME.

(And don't even get me started on how much he gets off on watching you do your skincare, too. Anything to do with taking care of your body he loves, adores, is obsessed with; you doing your hair. Putting on your lotion or oils. Washing yourself, your leg up on the side of the bathtub.

Plus, he never wants to see you in makeup or shaving or anything of the sort. He only wants you bare and raw the way you were made... and yes that means he will buy you ¥50000 korean skincare essence but refuse to buy you foundation from the convenience store.)

The backlash against Frozen, which, from my observation, has cooled down (that isn't a joke, I swear-) quite a bit over the past few years, was less based on the quality of the movie itself and more on the fact that its massive success and reach really overshadowed a lot of other movies that came out prior to it and after it and was getting credited for stuff that had already been done before plenty of times, and in many cases, in those exact movies. This is why, to this day, many fans STILL refuse to give Tangled its props without trying to put Frozen down in some way. In their eyes, Tangled should have gotten the glory and accolades Frozen received, but did not, and that made them quite jealous. Overall, Frozen is far from a bad movie. It's a great movie with a great message, characters, music and does actually deserve the success and recognition it got, and some fans need to stop being so salty about it and uplift their fav movies without putting Frozen down so they get the proper appreciation they deserve as well. Although, yes, the credit this movie got for allegedly introducing themes, archetypes and tropes that had already been seen before in Disney, including movies set in a fairytale world with heroines as the protags, was undoubtedly the most annoying part about its success and is part of the reason why many tried to drag this movie and its main leads.

i was thinking about your post re: 'high-functioning' autism, and i have to say that it genuinely bothers me at times when i see someone who has earned a master's degree, lives independently and earns a comfortable amount of money talk about how hard it was for them to finally be affirmed when they found a therapist who validated their autism. and how their autism is actually a 'true strength', the way they see it now.

i don't want to downplay the fact that i'm sure they have struggled because of bullying due to being considered 'weird' by their peers growing up, but if you're capable of earning a master's degree and living independently that's just a completely different experience than that of families who have a child in their 30s who is not capable of living independently, and these people are not 'CoNtRiBuTinG to tHe AuTisM sTigMa' just by wishing their child could have a normal life like anyone else their age

it also just pisses me off when they describe it as 'true strength' when there are families out there who are scared that some cop will shoot their son on grounds of appearing to be resisting arrest

i feel like i'm in an unusually good position to evaluate a lot of autism discourse bc i was diagnosed with asperger's in childhood but i also have a younger brother who is more severely affected by autism such that, realistically, he is not ever going to be able to live independently. once i turn 30, i will be designated as his legal guardian should something happen to my parents. so for me, autism has affected my life a lot, and it still creates obstacles for me, but i managed to finish law school and get a job as a lawyer, so clearly i'm fairly functional. and seeing the way some high-functioning autistic people talk about people who have more severe autism pisses me off to no end.

for one thing, some of them believe that all nonverbal people can communicate through things like rapid prompting method, which is not only pseudoscientific but has led to all sorts of horrible situations. i've even seen high-functioning autistic people argue that the levels of autism are invalid bc when they get upset their functioning level decreases.

there's also the hatred of autism moms for "making their whole life about their child's diagnosis." people don't seem to understand that for a mom with a severely disabled child, their child and their child's disability does become their whole life. and they criticize moms for expressing sadness that their kid won't be able to get married, graduate college, etc., as if the moms are being ableist towards their children. all i can say is, get back to me when you have a close family member who needs lifelong care but will also probably outlive their caregivers. maybe then you'll get it.

i've talked to my mom about this and she's pointed out something that i found very funny. the inability of some of these people to even begin to appreciate the situation of severely autistic people and their caregivers is probably caused in part by their own autism. so who knows, maybe i would have ended up similarly clueless if not for my brother.

hello why is kaishin more popular than shinkai or what i mean is why bottom shinichi is like the most widely believed one? lol not really in the fandom just vaguely familiar with the anime from childhood it's just my mutuals likes this ship. i'd thought shinichi being the top would be more popular given his personality.

imma be real honest with you, anon, i've loved the kidco dynamic since i was conan-sized but i only realized kaishin should be making out around 2021 so i don't know if i'm the best person to answer this question LOL BUT, i'll give you an answer!

tbh, i think for fandom shipping in general, the main character more often than not is the chosen bottom and whoever else is the other party is topping them. in japanese media especially, the ship names are mostly born from putting the kanji of their names together wherein the order of which indicates the seme and uke. since this happens early on, we kinda get stuck with that as the popular ship name whether you prefer the other way later on.

perhaps kaishin is more popular but not entirely by a lot compared to other ships where it's completely skewed to one side. i see a lot of shinkai too. ofc there are people who prefer one way over the other exclusively and that's completely fine!

personally, i think confining them into seme and uke or top and bottom does a great disservice to the kaishin dynamic because to me we should be looking at their sub-dom dynamic more and why they're actually peak switch sub and dom!!!!

i will be honest, perhaps switch pairings might just be my preference but I have never encountered a pairing that felt this completely equal in the switch department more than kaishin. like for other ships i'd sometimes be like, "yeah they switch but A is 70% more dom than B." But for kaishin I'm like, "oKAY THEY'RE 50/50 THEY'RE EQUALS THEY'RE PERFECT HALVES RAAAAAHHHH"

now how does this answer your question? well, i have no proof and im going off of vibes and like i said im no veteran in this ship fandom but, i think a lot of people do enjoy the other way around as you think it would've been. it's just that...it's something that can just be filed under the kaishin tag too. because it's basically the same sometimes. the only different thing is who's topping and bottoming. like sometimes i'm scrolling through twitter and i'd see art that's giving shinkai but it's tagged as kaishin and vice versa lol.

also personally i prefer calling them kaishin because i love the letter k and i associate the name shinkai more with makoto shinkai so every time i see people refer to kaishin as shinkai, my mind just conjures up an image of kaito, shinichi, and makoto shinkai together and i know that's fucking hilariously weird but it sometimes happens!!!! LMAO so even if i'm thinking about shinkai stuff, i still prefer using the name kaishin lol.

(but having the kaishin/shinkai distinction is definitely still useful especially for people who want to filter through one way or the other so fuck yeah to the ship name shinkai you're here to stay!!!)

Might be unpopular opinion but I love dark hair on Apollo 🖤 I know people envision him as blond but black or brown hair does it for me even if the myths say otherwise..

I have warmed up a lot to non-blonde Apollo lol so yeah, i agree that he dark hair also looks great on him! Even if it is a rare thing in the hymns/myths (but hymns that describe him as dark haired do exist!) the Roman paintings that have survived show Apollo with brown hair most of the time.
