How pathetic was he that after three years of pining and two years of working side by side, he could only watch you from afar? He was Katsuki fucking Bakugo. The boy who'd become a man never unsure about his choices. Never hesitating to go for what he wanted.

Clicking his tongue and downing his third flute of whatever the fuck this rich party was serving, he looked down at his phone.

The only time Bakugo hesitated was when it came to you. Five years of friendship, of sharing secrets that not even Kiri knew about. And Bakugo pretty much told him anything of importance in his life.

"Hey, you gonna mope all night or kiss the woman of your dreams?" Kiri sat down across from Bakugo.

"The fuck you on about?"

"Dude, she's been waiting on you for five years."

Bakugo cocked an eyebrow at Kiri. Sure, everyone had theories that you liked him, but no proof. Kiri would never make that kind of statement without evidence.

"What did she say?"

"I overheard her talking to Momo and Jiro. Her exact words, "I'm kissing him at midnight. If he hates me for it, fine, but I'm doing it."

Bakugo's head snapped up, and his eyes searched the crowd for you. You were nowhere to be found.

"Where did she go?"

"Other end of the balcony. Last I saw. Good luck, man."

Bakugo was off, his mind focused solely on finding you. As he weaved his way through colleagues, friends, and retired heroes, he wondered why you'd never confessed.

"Kats, you okay? You look like you're gonna kill someone," you teased.

"Why the hell are you here by yourself?" Bakugo stalled.

"Hmm. Oh, gathering up my courage."

"What the hell for?"

You looked at him, those intense ruby eyes locking with yours. You smiled because this was your best friend, your closest ally, and the only person you wanted to love.

Bakugo's stomach was doing flips as your gaze burned into him. Shit. How did you strip him of all his strength with a single look? It wasn't fair, and he couldn't handle it. You had this ridiculous ability to pull his vulnerable side out with a single smile.

"To kiss someone."

"Why? The whole ball drop thing? That's stupid."

You giggled, unable to help it. The annoyed expression paired with his confidence was adorable.

"I guess. You never stayed up during UA."

Bakugo moved closer and cupped your cheek. Surprised didn't come close to how you felt. The warmth of his hand on your cheek, those intense eyes now soft.

"Shoulda asked me, dummy," Bakugo's voice was low and husky.

"Yeah, ok. And get blasted, no thanks," you laughed.

You had to move away, or you were going to lose your mind. You were coming undone beneath that gentle gaze.

"How stupid are you?"

You blinked because though the words were harsh, his tone was soft, almost sweet.

"You say the sweetest things."

Bakugo chuckled, his thumb now running over your bottom lip.

"You should know by now I'd do anything for you. Fucking whipped and we aren't even together," he mumbled the last part.

Enveloped by his warmth and that sweet scent of his, you leaned in and kissed him. His response was feral and not what you expected from his earlier softness.

His hands slid down your neck to your waist, pulling you roughly against him. He forced his way into your mouth, his teeth catching your tongue and slowly releasing it before they found your lips.

Bakugo had never been desperate for anything, but right now, he couldn't get enough of you. Careful not to hurt you, he used his hands to hold you while he pushed you back against the closest wall.

"Shit...Stop. Stop, I can't breathe," you laughed as his mouth made its way down to your neck.

Bakugo chuckled before placing his forehead to yours.

"C'mon. Let's get out of here and hit your place for movies and snacks."

"You're serious?"

"Yeah. Don't need any idiots tryin' to kiss my woman at midnight."

Your heart swelled at those words and the smirk he gave you. Five years. Five years to finally have the only person you ever wanted.

"Guess that makes you my man?" You teased.

"No shit, dummy," Bakugo smiled at you.

SPOILERS FOR THE OG GAME LESSONS 16-17

His whole hehe haha jokey thing when he flirts with MC? He's had multiple nightmares about losing them to a demon, especially Belphegor because he actually killed MC. He also dreams of Lucifer threatening them (ANOTHER thing that happened in the OG game, but this was one that Solomon actually witnessed) except this time Solomon can't get to them and before he knows it their eyes are lifeless and he's the only one that seems to care on the dancefloor of demons who laugh at the existence of humans.

There's a small part of him that wants to convince MC to attempt to become immortal just like him so he can see them all the time, though the bigger part of him knows that isn't right. Please tell him it's okay to be selfish.

Every day, he insists on taking a picture of you. He has a secret little scrapbook of pictures and memories of you, daily memories of you. It doesn't matter if all you did that day was video call him, he'll take a screenshot of your smiling face and put that in his scrapbook. He does this so he'll have a timeline of your relationship, from the day one of you confessed to the day you pass. He'll be able to remember anything and everything about you even when you aren't there anymore.

Whenever you cuddle with Solomon and he rests his head on your chest, he's listening to your heartbeat. I actually think most if not ALL the obey me cast would do this (ESPECIALLY BELPHIE!!!!!!) just to check that you're still okay and haven't been hurt.

He has a habit of checking you for injuries whenever he sees you. He'll run his hands down your arms and down your waist just to make sure there's no wounds. It's become so habitual that he doesn't even really realize he's doing it anymore.

First of all I'm gonna read it. Will you borrow me the book when I give you the birthday gift? (Dw I'll treat it like royalty).

Second of all I'm concerned, because books generally make me think a lot so if this one is designed to make you think and lose your mind then I'm kinda scared to read it right now, before my graduation exams... (not ready to have a breakdown rn). But we'll see.

And third of all, I will definitely read it in one sitting, because I usually do this with books and staying up past midning because of books/fanfics is normal for me.

Fahrenheit 451 by: Ray Bradbury ------------------------------------------------------------------------------discalmer: this book broke me and I thanked it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd like to start by saying I expected everything but not this. I've heared about this book a few times but it never really gotten to the point where I really wanted to read it. There also weren't many people that I know that have read it so it was purelly internets fault. I have bought the english version of the book on a trip because I liked the cover and I was also interested about it in general, which now after reading it feels weirdly ironic. The book is quite short, only having around 201 pages, but in this short time it will absolutelly destroy you. I have laughed, I have cried and in the meantime I had existential crisis. And I loved every bit of it. If I'm being honest this book gave me the push I needed to start reading again. Now I need to clarify, english is my second language. I understand it fine but books can be a struggle from time to time. This, this was a pleasent struggle. The book literally flows, the way the sentences pace and carry you feel so natural and balanced, yet new and unexplored. I was blown away by how beautifully written this book was. I tab my books with those little plastic colorful sticky note thingies, but after the first 50 pages of this book I realised two things: 1. It past midnight and I should have been asleep for a few hours 2. I was out of tabs If I can recommend anything, to people who tab, buy a lot of tabs for this one, and do read it in the shortest amount possible, and then let it sit and sink in. I can't imagine reading the first half and then returning to it after a while, it would have way less impact for sure. The story is flawless, and even if it wasn't I was too preocupied by the book making me think so hard my brain practically melted for me to notice. I love this book, and I think it might take the spot of my most favourite book. It's beautiful. It's daring. It's so accurate and so terrifying.

And as you finish and sit down to munch on what actually just happened. Even if you're like me and you didn't understand every word, you didn't understand every situation because you get lost in translation, it makes you think. Ugly think. Think so hard you confuse yourself. And that's exactly what the book is about. If you do that, if you read this book and it makes you think. Then you've understood it, even if you didn't.
